    I received my replacement phone and all was well. I returned my damage phone in the prepaid shipping envelop that Assurant provided. It was returned 7 days after receiving the replacement phone. About a month later I received a note stating they had not received my phone back. I called and and assured that they saw I had returned the phone timely and not to worry. NOT TRUE. My phone state in transit from the USPS from July 18th to this date! I was charged by TMOBILE 400.00 for not returning my phone. I called TMobile and Assurant with no resolution. I have to file a claim with the USPS and do Assurant's work for them.

    To Recap, I pay Assurant. I followed Assurant process. I used their prepaid method to return the damaged phone. They see the tracking info. They know I sent it back on July 10th. I got Charged $400.00 from T-Mobile for not returning the phone. I have to file a claim with the post office, even though I followed Assurant process. Assurant is the USPS customer not me! TMobile has giving me zero help, Assurant has giving me less, now I go to the post office to do Assurant's work. If Amazon worked this way they would be toast! Maybe its time to move to Sprint, Can you hear me now?

    I received Assurant cell phone insurance via T-Mobile. My phone broke on Thursday. I filed my claim and paid $99 on Friday, expecting my phone on Saturday. I asked about shipping, and would have paid even more to get the replacement. I was told once the claim was approved and processed I could change it, which was a total LIE. My phone will arrive Tuesday by 5:30, so I will be out of touch for 5 days! Assurant asserts they ship 2 business days, so I should have received it Monday. UPS says it’s going via truck, because “cheapest way” was what the sender selected.

    Assurant offered to cancel the replacement if I wanted to pay full list at T Mobile. Wasn’t that considerate! It should have been overnighted to me, considering I have paid for the phone 10 times with the premiums, plus I WOULD HAVE PAID FOR IT MYSELF. If at all possible, buy an Iphone and use Apple care. You walk in with the broken phone and out of the store with the replacement. I would give negative stars if I could.

    My daughter's phone was having problems with shutting down after it was dropped. We had to file 3 claims and get T-mobile involved to prove I was paying the insurance on my phone and my daughter's plus the second rep said the only phone choice was red. I’ve been a customer for over 20 years and have never had so many problems. It was finally resolved but it appeared they were just trying to deny my claim. I feel sorry for people that take them for their word.

    Sent me a new phone, and it was relatively hassle-free, although my phone was stolen on a Thursday and didn't get a replacement until Monday evening. Assurant didn't process until next day (claim was filed at 9:00 pm), and since they don't have Saturday delivery, I had to wait the entire weekend and Monday to get a phone. For the ridiculous $250 deductible, you think they would have Saturday delivery option! A little frustrated with the high monthly charge, the high deductible, and the fact that it took 4 days to get a replacement phone.

    I am very disappointed with the Assurant customer care. I have filed a claim, on 10/10/2019. I had to upload the driver's license copy of the main account holder in my T-mobile line. After uploading and filing a claim they said that it will take 24 hours to finish the claim and a new device will be sent back to me, but now again they are telling me that it will take 3-5 days to review the application. Which is really horrible. I am in a situation where I am not able to do anything without the phone. This was the first time I lost my phone and I have been calling Assurant customer care and no one is giving me the proper information on my claim. Kindly anyone from Assurant, please look into my claim.

    I think your insurance is way overpriced. I pay $14 a month and if I have my phone stolen then I have to pay a $249 deductible only to receive a used phone. Doesn't seem right, it was very very difficult to navigate through your claim system or ever get an answer from the right dept. I did receive my phone right away though.

    Replacement phone is not as reliable as original. Google play store along with several other systems randomly stop working. Don't understand why a phone that was supposed to be brand new refurbished from inside out has system problems. Someone or something should be done about it. This is not the first time that this has happened. Went from a Note3 to a Note4. The note4 was sent with a faulty battery. Sent in note4 for replacement was sent Note5. First Note5 had bad cellular antennas second note5 was shipped without an operating system. Third was just a piece of junk couldn't hold Wi-Fi or cell signal and eventually just quit working.

    Did you know that when you buy a new phone and get phone insurance the phone is not actually covered? I purchased a new Galaxy s10 Plus this year with phone insurance. At the time the T-Mobile representative only told me of the benefits of the insurance not that the phone line was covered. I lost the phone and filed a claim which was denied. After filing an appeal Assurant insurance said that I should have read the contract because only the phone line is covered, not the phone. There was not help from T-Mobile. This feels like a scam just to make more money for the companies.

    I filed the claim for damage phone and received the replacement within few days. The real issue started when I mailed the damage ph. within the time frame given under 10 days. Few weeks later I received a letter from Assurant that they haven't received the phone. When I called they told me that it looks like it is still in transit. Told me to call post office. Post office informed me that it looks like the package is lost and I need to file the missing mail claim. It takes 60 days to research.

    When I informed Assurant about the issue they told me it is not Assurant problem and they put me on 4 holds and told me that I will have to pay for the phone and to get money from post office. Post office told me that the package was not insured by Assurant so no money back. Assurant never communicated that there is no insurance on the mailing label provided. This is my 1st claim. What's the point of paying for insurance if now I already paid $100 for the claim and still have to pay for the damage phone, which I mailed as requested.

    Have spent over 5 hours on the phone w/ Assurant. Submitted the driver's license docs they requested. They asked for it again but in the link did not provide the area to re-submit docs. Reviewing claim it said docs were already provided. Had to stay on hold over an hour. Then after all that there was still no place to resubmit the doc. Called back and they said, "By the way you need a copy of original receipt." What? I have been on phone w/ you guys over 5 hours and now you request another doc. Why did you not say this from beginning? Only who keeps receipt. Everything electronic these days even receipts. Was already gone from email. Was in the Apple store and they did not know receipt needed to submit a claim. Bottom line like any other insurance company you have coverage but God forbid you submit a claim.

    I filed a claim with my insurance I have through T-Mobile for my phone which had a cracked screen which produced a black screen. Within minutes, I got an email saying my claim has been started. The next day, when I got home from work, I checked my claim status and got a message that I needed to call them. I did not receive an email asking me to call. When I called them and asked them why I had to check the claim status to find they needed to speak to me, they said they called the contact number (the phone that does not work) and left a message. But they did not email me.

    When I called the next day, they asked me a few questions and wanted to know why I wanted to have my phone mailed to my billing address. I told them I had moved and they said they need to update my address, and now I need to provide a bill to verify my address. This would cause added claim to be delayed further. I imagine that since it is Friday, the claim will not be considered until next week. I pay for insurance every month and approved the $99 deductible. I need to have my phone for my business by next week. I told her to cancel the deductible and I would cancel my insurance with T-Mobile. I will purchase another phone and make sure that I have insurance with a company that will not take a week to replace my phone.

    I placed my claim immediately after damaging my phone. Assurant acknowledged the claim but sat on the required $50 payment for days. At the same time the form email sent said my phone was forthcoming. 2 days passed and only after calling did I find out they wanted me to upload a copy of my bill. The agent insisted that I go out in over 100 degree weather despite the fact that I told her I had a seizure disorder. I was hospitalized for days as a result.

    After I got out, I once again followed up with the claim. Once more they said the phone was forthcoming. This time when it failed to appear. The agent flippantly stated it was back ordered and "there's nothing you can do about it." I finally received my phone after T Mobile expedited the matter. In short Assurant is arrogant, incompetent and should be replaced by T Mobile as a partner. Ultimately I think T Mobile will lose customers because of the slap shod way in which Assurant conducts business.

My impression was that my order had been lost as the service rep had to contact the warehouse to find out what was going on. Then, after my credit card had already been charged the $175 deductible, the phone was finally shipped and arrived at the UPS site on a Saturday!...Since UPS did not deliver on that day, I contacted UPS to pick it up and was told that the sender (you folks) had put restrictions on it so that I couldn't pick it up!!! And they wanted me to pay another deductible to replace the phone because I called on the 8th day and not on the 7th. Which I did not not know I had to do. Not paying another 100 on top of 250.     My in call speaker in my phone quit working. I filed a claim with Assurant and it was quickly approved. I was told I would have a replacement phone shipped within 24hrs. 3 days later I finally emailed to ask about my replacement. I received an email back that my phone was out of stock and on back order with no arrival date available. I have since called Assurant where I spoke to a couple employees as well as 2 supervisors who all told me the same thing. I am basically out of luck and that they had 30 days to send me a phone. I don't understand how a company this size is telling me they have no phones they can send me, especially when their website says if a phone isn't available they will upgrade to a new model. How am I allowed 2 different style of phones but neither is in stock anywhere in the company and you have no idea when I will get it and refuse to just send me the next one up.

    The whole process was fairly easy and smooth. The only problem was, when I dropped my phone off along with the Box with the new phone in it that you sent, I did not inspect what was in the Box.     I have a Samsung Galaxy S9. Filing the claim itself went smooth, they even overnight the package to you. It was getting to that step that I'm most unhappy with. My phone was stolen. I was almost 3 months without a phone. I had to use my son's phone (he wasn't happy about that!) and have my calls forwarded. I missed out on business due to text messages not getting returned.

    After paying $15 ea month for years then when the unfortunate time does come I learn, "Oh btw your deductible is $180!" Wth have I been paying monthly towards all these years? I love when they first talk you into purchasing their so called insurance. They tell you things like "if anything at all ever happens to your phone it'll cover it." "Even if it's stolen you're covered." They just fail to mention the huge deductible once you do file a claim.

    The other things I'm not happy about is the lifetime of tempered glass screen protectors. They just don't tell you they will stop getting them after 6 mo. And the fact that you are paying premium price for a new phone fresh from the manufacturer to have it replaced with a refurbished one. Just doesn't seem right. When this is how a loyal customer of 15 years is treated somebody is making way too much money. They put forth no effort to even attempt to keep my business.

    I am very disappointed with the Assurant. I had created my claim on 24th. I was sent a wrong device which I sent back and was received. Then I was sent the correct device which I own but for some reason assurant wanted it to be not delivered. And it was on 3rd of Oct. I called helpdesk on 6th Oct and they said the warehouse has not scanned the device received on Oct 3rd. Seriously it takes warehouse 3 days to scan the package they receive. I am still using the broken phone. I am sorry I had to deal with your company. Such a waste of Money. And my time.

    After filing my claim online, struggling to not miss the cutoff time which I did, I received the Phone in two (2) days rather than 1. I took the phone to a local store, walked out with a working unfortunately, after about ten (10) hours the phone was back on the reset screen. I took it back to Metro and was told the phone was working. I just needed to sign into my Google cloud to have everything downloaded and I'd be back in business. This was far from the truth.

    The phone did not recognize my Google password prompting me to change my password which I did do on my laptop. After an hour's time, I entered the new password on the replacement to receive an error message that the new password was not accepted. I submitted for another password change request but now was unable to move forward because the phone had now locked me out of my Google account, my Google Chrome and my Gmail accounts. In my email I was informed that it could be 3-5 days for my request to come from Google and sent to my Yahoo addie. It took another 5 days to be told that the shipping label had been sent to my Gmail account which I was unable to access because the replacement had locked me out of everything associated with Google.

    I called back after several missed attempts to change the password. Finally an agent stated I could take the phone to Metro and do an in-store warranty replacement. FAILURE!!! DUE TO THE PHONE NOT HAVING THE ABILITY to move past the Google sign in and the multitude of error messages coming across the screen, I was told the phone would not be replaced by a franchise, that I would have to drive to Austin an hour and a half away to a corporate store. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??

    To then make matters worse, a label was sent to my recovery email and Yahoo just like Google requires the 2nd verification which yet again was my cellphone via a text message. Rummaging through the box the replacement phone came in, I found an envelope. I compared it to the image sent to my mother's email. Identical. So now I'm very frustrated because all along I'm under the impression that I am waiting for a UPS shipping label based on what the CSR's relayed. In reality it was an envelope from USPS. Perhaps a refresher training course on what is shipped to the customer and encouraging better enunciation and pronunciation. So finally October 8, 2019, the defective replacement phone has finally left my possession; beginning its journey ending hopefully in the garbage. And holding Assurant to its word, my replacement replacement phone should arrive Wednesday 9 October, 2019.

    I lost my phone on September 24th. I call Assurant to file my claim, instead of helping me file a claim and getting through the process Assurant Stonewall my claim and would not send out my replacement device until next Tuesday a week later. Assurant stating that they need to do a review on my account. When I them why they would not tell me. I end up getting another phone in the process while waiting for the replacement phone from Assurant. I would not recommend a showing in to any of my friend or family. I thought an insurance company supposed to help their customer file for claim when do you need it not to harass and give out false information to their customer when their customer paid them every month for a premium price.

Called Assurant, no record of my phone, bounced to T-Mobile. Verified info was correct. T-Mobile rep called Assurant and explained situation. Once I got on the call was told the same thing as before and said they might be able to contact the back office. T-Mobile called me back that night to see if my concern was handled. Explained the situation. T-Mobile escalated. Only knew this was handled when I received an email that my claim was approved.     The claims process with this company was absolutely terrible! My product arrived at the mail office without a commercial invoice. Contacted them and they didn't understand why FedEx was requesting a commercial invoice. She put me on hold to call fedex and I got hung up on while on hold. Called them back and had to go through the entire process again! She informed me that she didn't know why they were asking for a commercial invoice and told me that I would need to call fedex and cancel the shipment.

    Me being smart I thought why would I need to call them to cancel a shipment that I am not sending. I told her to hold on so that I could call them on my other line and fedex informed me that they would need to cancel the shipment! Go FIGURE. Had I hung up I would be going through that process yet again. I conferenced the call and the rep didn't even have an account number to give fedex to cancel the shipment. This was the worst customer service I have ever received. I was supposed to receive my replacement device two days ago. I now have to delay my vacation because I still do not have a phone. I set this up ahead of time to be done and they could not deliver. It is absolutely ridiculous, would DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND!

    I accidentally left my phone on the roof top of my car. And it flew out on the freeway. I made my claim and paid my deductible on September 15, 2019. Assurant started an investigation and search on their end. I also made the claim with UPS that same day. UPS told me it will take 8 business days for them do a search and close the claim. Unfortunately, it took longer. I was notified on October 1st by UPS that they could not find the phone and that they are taking full liability for the phone they stated they have contacted the sender.

    Assurant faxed over the form and UPS is getting ready to send them the check. However, I talked to Assurant today (October 8) and they claim UPS has not sent any notification of them taken responsibility for the phone. I had the UPS supervisor and the Assurant supervisor on the phone and the Assurant supervisor did not want to talk to UPS. She said Assurant search for the phone started on October 4th and it will take 15 days for the search to be done. Assurant claimed on September 15 that they will start their search then. The supervisor Daisha admitted that it was negligence on their behalf for failing to start the search then.

    I am frustrated, I paid my $240 deductible and I have been phone less close to a month now. I have called Assurant several times and no one seems to take accurate notes. I have had UPS and Assurant in a 3 way call and yet when I call Assurant back is like that call never happened. Also, Daisha claims there is no notes from September 15 and that the notes started on 19th of September??? Nobody was taking me serious. The Assurant supervisor says their offline workshop is maybe failing to update their system. I can never get a correct or secure answer from Assurant. I do not know how much longer they will have me with out a phone!!

    Filed a claim to receive a replacement device for my broken mobile phone. Assurant sent two defective replacement phones. The first time, they agreed to send a second replacement. The second time they stated that the defect on the second replacement does not meet their replacement criteria in order to send a third replacement. My T-Mobile representative was on the line with me when I was speaking to the Assurant rep. The T-Mobile rep was also in disbelief that Assurant wouldn't replace the second defective device they had sent. The T-Mobile rep later stated that they are receiving a lot of complaints in regards to Assurant replacement devices and service. Meanwhile, I have paid monthly insurance fees plus a deductible. I would like to be reimbursed for all of the above, as Assurant hasn't held it's responsibility to send a device without defect.

I contacted Assurant and they said I needed to speak to team mobile because it was under warranty, from there I got the runaround from talking to them, then to tech support, back to them, back to tech support then to Samsung and nothing got fixed. They told me to master reset my phone and backup all my data and it should work, well I did it and now it's even worst. I cant download all the apps I had or even keep any messages on my phone because it says that my phone's internal memory is full some how.     Submitting a claim to replace a damaged phone should have been a stepwise event turned into a nightmare from Hell saga. 9/25/19 an approved claim to replace my iPhone 7plus 32Gb went wrong when its replacement delivered delivered as a locked device ONLY Sprint compatibility. Then the phone call hurry up and wait who can stay on the phone longest game began at 0530 Saturday 9/28/2019.

    After 10 calls from TMobile to Assurant, finally on Sun evening, representative Airam was the only one to discover the cause of the error and she ultimately offered a resolution. Ultimately, the original phone that was gifted to me was NOT a TMobile compatible phone and I should not have been allowed to pay the premium for coverage of a non TMobile device nor should a replacement phone claim been approved under this insurance. Airam was able to update the insurance, apply a $40 credit AND she submitted a replacement to have the LOCKED replacement phone replacement.

    Then the next phase began. On Wed 10/1/19, I spoke with a representative who told me that a shipping label will be sent to my email address within 30 minutes... 22 hours later I called back Assurant to get the shipping label and was told it actually takes 24 hrs to receive the shipping label. Once received, use it to return the LOCKED phone to FedEx and to call back to give Assurant with the tracking number so that they will see the product in transit and will submit the shipping of an UNLOCKED replacement of the replacement. So, as instructed, I calls Assurant after dropping off to Office Depot for FEDEX shipment with the tracking Number only to be told that I needed to track the package and once it shows “in transit” status then call back AGAIN so they can the. Initiate the shipping of the correct unlocked phone.

    So, I am exhausted with the process and asks for the supervisor being that I’ve already spent several hours and phone calls of wasted time and to be asked to call AGAIN with the same tracking number was excessive. The supervisor that I spoke with on Wed 10/2/19 evening was Daniel who was “NOT required to give his last name” told me that “me having a tracking number doesn’t mean that the phone was NOT still in my possession, it only means that a tracking label was printed.” Immediately, I became offended that the supervisor would imply that I was a thief and a liar to submit the tracking number and keep the phone in my possession. Ultimately, on Friday 10/4/19, I called for the 12th time to update the transit info and the representative initiated the shipping of the unlocked replacement iPhone that ultimately arrived Mon 10/7/19 around 3pm. 13 day Saga to replace one shattered phone.

    When I decided to upgrade from a Galaxy 7 to a new phone, I walked into a Tmobile store and made a conscious decision on the exact phone I wanted. I chose the White Galaxy 10+. I did not opt to pay full price for the phone, upfront. I will be making monthly payments over the next 12 months or so. I've been a T-Mobile customer since they were VoiceStream and Jamie Lee Curtis was the spokesperson. I've never had an incident with my phone to where I would need to use the insurance, until September 6,2019. I had a freak accident with my phone and the screen was only half accessible. As soon as I was able, I initiated a claim. When I received the replacement device, I was under the impression that I'd be getting my white G10+ back at some point, since it was just screen damage. But after a week of receiving emails from Assurant, which had no information on when I'd be receiving my white G10+ back, I decided to call.

    The first issue is that I mailed the phone to 1 of the 50 states, but the person who took my call clearly was not in the 50 states. I could not understand what he was saying on top of my frustration about the replacement phone. I think it's real ** that I have to continue to make monthly payments on a phone I didn't choose. It's yet another punch in the face from the powerful company who could have very well sent me a white phone, but instead sent "whatever we had in the warehouse". I'd much rather have my repaired phone back seeing as I'm paying $1k for it.

    I filed a claim online for my phone and it was denied - called to find out why and they said I don’t have an iPhone X 256 gigabytes- after a game of cat and mouse I finally was able to get the claim updated with correct info. I then reviewed my emails and I had given them the correct information regarding my phone initially. I called back to speak to them about it and possibly get thing expedited to no avail. It’s been 4 days since I filed my claim and I still have no phone and no one can tell me when I’m going to get a phone sent to me and my claim has still not been approved - spoke with US Cellular and they said phones are normally sent out in 24 hours. I am a cancer patient and enjoy speaking with my daughter who lives out of town and now I can’t as she has no phone and Assurant refuses to honestly tell me what’s going on.

    First off, they told me to call Apple care because I had an iPhone, which I did and made an appointment. They sent me an appointment at Best Buy, Best Buy continued to tell me that they cannot help me and that I must have assurance, so I called that morning because T-Mobile told me that was the way to go. I called and the lady continue to tell me that I was with Apple care And for me to call them. I continue to ask her why am I being referred Assurant. She repeated herself several times going call AppleCare, call AppleCare and I think she just wanted to get me off the phone. I said I have and they cannot cover me, why would they referred me to you.     When I first called the representative was nice and processed claim before 4pm yet the claim wasn't approved till next day early am. A new phone was prepared and picked up by UPS. The next day it went missing. While it's not Assurant's fault, they did nothing to initiate tracker investigation in a timely manner. I've been without a phone for 2 weeks now and still have to wait for UPS to finish their investigation before Assurant will send a new phone.

    There was no accommodation to meet me halfway. I'm out a phone for weeks, Assurant has my money for the new phone and won't send a new one until UPS gets their investigation completed. This is unacceptable and disturbing. UPS clearly lost it but I'm being penalized for it. The best your organization could do was say "Sorry." I'm truly disgusted with the process.

    After about 12 phone calls to Assurant 6 phone calls to Tmobile and 10 uploads or emails and 7 days I did finally receive my phone. I was continually told that because the wrong address was on my account I have to take extra steps to get my phone replaced. It did not matter that I did update my address and the bill requested had the updated address on it. The agents became annoyed with me and hung up or transferred me back to the queue to start again. Even the supervisors offered nothing more than the agent's would leave me on hold for an extended time period to force me to hang up. It gives me anxiety that I may have to ever go through this again.

    Worst experience ever!!! This company lies to you and takes your money and they don’t even have the product to replace what you’ve been paying insurance for. I’ve been dealing with this company for over a month now to get a replacement for an Apple Watch. One time I was told they don’t carry them they won’t have them and for me to just go buy a new one and they’ll give me my money back in 10 to 15 business days. They only reimburse up to $429 plus tax less than $99 which makes it not $429 and not the cost of a brand new Apple Watch.

    I was told different stories by different representatives you can’t ever get a hold of the same supervisor that you spoke to. I’ve been dealing with this replacement issue and I even had to get a T-Mobile supervisor involved in a three-way conversation twice so they could hear what this insurance company is telling their customers. Bottom line I had to go out and purchase a brand new Apple Watch and I My reimbursement isn’t even close to what the new Apple Watch costs nor the $12 a month that Assurant charges for insurance for replacement of devices that they don’t even have. And they are allowed to take up to 15 business days to reimburse you your money. I’m very dissatisfied with the service that I have received from Assurant.

    My son dropped his iPhone 7 Plus causing damage requiring me to submit to Assurant for a replacement device. Upon receiving the device it seemed like it was working great at first. Within a couple days of use my son began complaining about the wifi being grayed out and not allowing him to connect to the wifi. I was on bed rest about to give birth to my daughter and by the time I reported the issue they told me it was out of the warranty period. I spoke with a product specialist with Apple who explained that the device was refurbished and that particular issue renders the phone useless. I just find this extremely shady, they had to have known about this issue and yet they collected my $175 and shipped me out a broken phone. What sucks is I was out that money plus I had to continue paying for the device since it was on lease to buy with US Cellular at retail price.

    I would never trust any device this company sends out. It's most likely doctored up to work for the moment but who knows when the problem will resurface. Luckily US Cellular sent us out a phone after hearing what happened because Assurant told me I was out of luck despite being hospitalized and missing the warranty timeframe by mere days. Hope this review saves someone the time & money of being screwed over like I was.

    So I called Assurant to file a claim. They refused my claim and said it was a Metro issue. So I called Metro and after 56 minutes on the phone with them they transferred me back to assurant... Now I am back talking to you for an additional 36 minutes. You finally accept my claim. You tell me that my phone will be deactivated once my new phone is sent. So that happens and I actually get my phone within 24 hours. Then I go to activate my new phone OH BUT WAIT I have to activate it through my old phone that is now unactive FML. So long story a little shorter than actual story after another 58 minutes on phone with metro get old phone on to activate new phone. Such a ** company. Dont pay the $6 dollars a month if your time is worth anything more of a headache than just going to store and having them handle it. OH WAIT THEY CANT DO THAT.

    My experience with Assurant was horrible. I paid to have a replacement phone shipped to me. The original representative told me it wouldn’t arrive on Monday so I gave them my work address and name so I could get it during the day. The phone never arrived on Monday so I called Assurant and they told me the previous rep. gave me the wrong information and I should have been told Tuesday as a delivery date.

    Tuesday comes and goes and STILL NO PHONE. I call Assurant again and speak to both representative Ben ** AND a Supervisor named Lisa ** to see where my phone is, when should I expect it and if Assurant would give me a credit or refund of some sort for all the miscommunications, missed delivery dates given by Assurant employees at but the rep and supervisor level and they said no, kept making excuses and blaming FedEx. Not that I agree with Assurant, but even IF it’s FedEx fault for delayed delivery, Assurant should take ownership for at the very least the first representative that gave me bad information for delivery date. Needless to says it took DAYS before my phone was delivered and Assurant employees had NOTHING BUT EXCUSES!

    When I asked Assurant since I have the relationship with T-Mobile and they have the relationship with Assurant and Assurant has the relationship with FedEx, what could I have done better as a CUSTOMER to improve my experience they said NOTHING and that I had TAKEN THE RIGHT STEPS but there was nothing they could do about it. My question to Assurant is was there nothing you “could” do or nothing you “would” do? Hands down my worst Customer Service experience ever. No accountability. No responsibility. No comprise. No credit. No positive customer service experience day after day after day!

    If I could give less than 1 star I would. Mobile klinik destroyed my 5 month old phone. I was referred to mobile klinik by my insurance company (Max Assurant) and was told my screen could be replaced by them by my insurance company (Max Assurant). I called and ordered a screen, when I went in to get it fixed it happens that they didn't have that as a work order but said they would figure it out, which had me concerned already, they changed my screen and when I went back in my phone worked, but my sim card no longer connected. The person who fixed it said there was probably damage to the board that connected to the sim card, even though it worked perfectly when I brought it in.

    After a day of waiting to find out how they were going to fix it they called and told me that I had to order a replacement phone and they had put the old broken screen back on, making my phone a useless paperweight. Spoke to the manager to find out that they aren't even authorized to change the screens on that type of phone and they did it without authorization....they should be paying for a new phone, my phone didn't have an issue except the cracked screen before I went in, and if I had known that they didn't have authorization to change it I wouldn't have brought it there in the first place.

    All Max Assurant offered me was a refurbished phone in whatever colour they have, I should be receiving a new phone in the colour I have paid for in the first place, my phone was bought in May and there were no issues with it except the screen, and had I known I needed a replacement I would have have kept the cracked screen. Disgusted by the way these companies handle people's property.

    Absolutely terrible customer service. I hope MetroPCS by T Mobile changes to a better company. First, I was required to provide a copy of my CA driver's License (I had been a customer of Metro PCS for approximately a year) and Assurant failed to update the system to say my CDL was received. Second, I was given conflicting information. One customer service person (CSP) said my replacement request was denied without a reason. Another CSP said that my CDL was not received. Both conversations were on different days. Third, it took seven days just to get a confirmation they received my CDL and my CDL had been uploaded to them on the same day I submitted the application).

    I was originally supposed to get a replacement phone from the T-Mobile store and when they took the sim card out they said the phone had water damage so they gave me the 800 # to call. I called them and they approved my claim with no problem. So I had a great experience with them.
