    I received a defective phone as a replacement for a problematic phone. Phone gets stuck when running a few parallel apps and the touch screen is not fully responsive at all times. To fix the phone I need to send it in (without a replacement!) and it takes 9-12 days. I can't be that long without my phone. And the best part, the repair would be an additional out of pocket expense for me?

    Note 5 is not the same as s7 Edge. Had a note 5 replace it with s7 Edge, not acceptable, no note 5 on stock, no note 8 in stock.     I was sent a broken replacement phone. When I received the phone it had 3 percent charge so I put the charger on and it would not take a charge no matter what I tried. I called Assurant and was told that I would have to go through T-Mobile's warranty Dept. At that time I was a little upset but did what I was told and contacted T-Mobile who then told me no it was Assurant who needs to replace the broken replacement phone!! Longer story short T-Mobile did end up sending a replacement phone to my local T-Mobile store but would not exchange the phone for me because they were unable to verify that there was no water damage because the phone would not charge and it was sent to me with the liquid damage sticker was removed?? Hell if I know what that means!! So ya really bad experience!! Why do I even pay for Insurance!!

    After paying TWO HUNDRED dollars, I was sent a replacement phone that the IMEI was already attached to a store employees account so I could not register it.     My son phone became cracked. I don't know how. The person's that hope file the claim was great and professional as well as the one that receive the call when my son stated that the color of the phone was purple or pink and he didn't like it. He was upset because it couldn't be changed. They didn't know it was for a guy. I don't think so but he's an user on my account. He wants me to switch to Sprint and he will pay the bill.     I was sent a replacement phone. The phone gets extremely hot when charging. I take my case off at the times because of how hot it gets. After it's done charging the battery only lasts four hours, and that is when I don't have my watch or earbuds connected. I had the phone for 4 days. I called the customer service/technical support and they tell me in order to get a new phone that I will have to send my phone in (be phoneless) and wait for a replacement. I have small children and I run 100% of my business through my phone. It would be one thing if I broke my phone. However, I didn't. I was sent a refurbished phone that is defective. I am a customer who paid for a working phone and yet when I ask for help on this issue I'm being told well tough luck on getting a new phone one if I don't send this one in.     In early November 2019, I purchased an iPhone 11 through Apple Company. At that time, I also purchased full coverage from Apple including coverage for Lost and Theft. I was not told that the coverage would be through Assurant. Four days ago, my iPhone was stolen at the gym. I submitted a claim through Apple and was told that the actual coverage was through Assurant. Thus I immediately contacted Assurant and was told that the "Find My Phone" feature had to be activated in order to have my phone replaced. I found that FMP had never been activated. Of course I had never "deactivated" it. I assumed that the feature was turned on because my phone was new with the latest SW and that all new phones came with FMP turned on. I paid for both the phone and coverage at the time of purchase. Now I have to purchase a new phone, but it will not be through Apple. I am also going to file a complaint with Apple.

    My iPhone XS Max was stolen out of the country on January 12, 2020. I purchased Apple Care Theft & Loss when I purchased the device on October 21, 2018. I contacted Apple Care on January 13, 2020 to file a claim. I was sent a link where I entered the requested information.. After filling out the online form I received an email stating "Once Assurant receives your information, they will send you an email with further instructions." I was also issued a case ID number of **. I called Assurant on January 13 and was informed that it would take about 3 hours for Apple to transmit the claim. Since January 13th I have called Assurant and Apple at least 10 times and both companies continue to blame each other as to why they can't file my claim.

    The Assurant customer service representatives & supervisors have given me variety of excuses which include: that Apple didnt generate a repair ID, Apple's case ID is invalid, an Assurant supervisor manually entered my claim which has cause my claim to be locked, I can refile my claim once the claim is purge from Apple's system, Apple cannot purge claims from the system and Assurant is responsible for fixing the IT issue that is preventing my claim from being processed.

    On Friday January 17th a floor supervisor at Assurant informed me although I had valid coverage and they were responsible for processing my claim on behalf of Apple that they couldn't figure out why my claim couldn't be processed and to write a letter to the corporate office. Writing a letter to a corporate office is not a viable solution. I would be without a cell phone while I wait for the corporate office to receive and review my letter which could take months. The customer service representative provided me with no time frame for a response from the corporate office, no person to direct my inquiry to at the corporate office and didn't even bother to provide me with the address.

    As of Sunday January 19th, Assurant has not processed my claim and I am still without a device. I have submitted all the request documents to Apple and Assurant. I have been paying for Apple Care coverage since I purchased my device, my coverage is active and Assurant refuses to process my claim simply because they cannot figure out the technical/engineering issue that is keeping my claim from being processed. This fraud. A company cannot collect premiums from a customer and refuse to pay a claim based on the company's poor technical infrastructure.

    Was very disappointed in the service received regarding my defective phone. I started the process on the 9th of January, it only took three tries to get someone to recognize a problem with the phone and accept the claim (first two said go to a store), and was advised if we completed by 830 pm eastern time, it should ship the next business day. It took 2 more phone calls to determine the status of the claim, and finally received the replacement phone on the 17th of January. I don't know on any planet that this is considered PREMIUM care, that I believe paying a premium of $11.99 per month should receive the documented 24hr turn around.

    Per their own description, if the phone they need to replace is not available, then they ship something of similar features. So why did it take a week to get a replacement phone, that was identical to the phone I needed to replace? Who knows, but I would not recommend paying this money to Samsung if this is what PREMIUM care is all about.

    I have been dealing with this issue since the 7th and still has not been resolved. The first representative I spoke with was very nice and friendly and I received the replacement next day as promised. Unfortunately it was the wrong device. The next rep I spoke with also very nice and told me she was unsure of why that was the type of device entered as T-Mobile had the correct phone on my account. Was directed to immediately ship back with return label sent and to call back once dropped off at the post office and scanned.

    I called back and have been being treated as if this was my fault. The rep and supervisor were both very rude and talked to me as if I was illiterate and couldn't understand what they were saying when the problem was I had been told something totally different before.     Horrible customer service and company, employees repeating the same words from notes in the front of them. Took 10 phone calls with T-Mobile representative joining to figure out the confusions with the IMEI numbers. My claim went under review not 3 to 5 days it took 10 days!!! And so many hours waste on phone calls and so much aggravation. When finally my claim got approved my device was shipped ground although all the papers were saying next business day. I just made another claim for my son watch... again is under review I have no idea what's the reason?! I am paying the insurance! devices breaks which is normal with kids but every time I have to call your company I'm getting nauseous...

    Initially file a claim for my son's phone which was damaged using the online claim process. He is on one of my lines on my account. claim was denied. Had to call representative and found out it was denied because his number didn't match my number. But the only way to file a claim was to list my info then select what line needed the claim for. The process was simple speaking with a representative and explaining what need to be done. Claim approved and new phone with new earbuds, and charger sent and received in couple days.     After phone was stolen this company made it very complicating to get a replacement phone. After told My phone will ship overnight it turned into 3-5 business days. I run my business on my phone which cause me to miss money. On the 5 day still no phone. I called back and was told by a rep, "Oh they needed a copy of your ID" which no one contacted me to get nor an email was sent. How would I have known if I didn’t call back? I spoke with 2 supervisors prior to this and was never told that.

    After this rep walk me through the process of sending my Id I had to wait another 24-48 hrs. This was Friday. Sunday I got an confirmation email showing the funds of the replacement phone was taken from my account and phone was shipped. Monday arrives still no phone after told it would be overnighted. Tuesday arrived. Waited around all day, tracked phone showed in route. Phone was not delivered until 8:10 pm. I been pay for this trashy insurance for the past 5 years of being with T-Mobile to finally needing to use it and this was the treatment I got to not be compensated or anything. I rather get a Metro PCS or Cricket phone than to go this this mess again. Horrible customer service. Horrible Treatment.

    Package was supposed to be overnighted, but didn't arrive for 2 days (ordered Sunday and arrived Tuesday). Then because I was not home, UPS took my package to a local UPS 'Access Point' for me to pick you. I didn't know what an 'Access Point' was and searched the UPS website for directions for the address on the UPS ticket. It would have been helpful if they noted the random store name 'access point' my package was delivered to, so that I could find it easier. This delayed me picking up my package because without a phone/GPS, and being busy at during regular business work hours, I didn't have much time to go on a scavenger hunt.

    Finally, UPS chat on web helped guide me to the random location where my phone was delivered to. Not a good experience. I've used Assurant before and thought you'd leave the package by the door. I appreciate the extra security factor, but UPS should do a better job at specifying the location info for pick-up. My experience with Assurant otherwise, was fine.

    I was totally honest when I gave Assurant the events that took place concerning my phone. I thought I had damage so I did a claim but once I took the phone to T-Mobile the representative realized the phone wasn't broken. It was a screen protector. So I sent the phone back that was sent to me by Assurant. Meanwhile I ended up losing the phone that I thought was broken. When I try to explain this to Assurant I was told there was nothing I could do and basically I'm just out of a phone and I would have to buy a new one. I just bought the phone a question not even 30 days prior to this claim. I am still making payments on the phone a question. I only sent the phone that Assurant sent me back because the representative from Assurant explain to me that I would be charged $230 for if I keep the phone and replace it with the one I lost. That is not going to happen because for issues and reasons like this that is why I purchased insurance.

    At the end of the day by assistant not being understanding or sympathetic and send me a new phone which is all I wanted. The supervisors are telling me my claim has been not approved and I cannot do another one and that's it. "Oh well. Too bad for you." This is not how insurance is supposed to work. I spent hours on the phone trying to resolve this issue yesterday being transferred to supervisors and once I spent an hour on hold waiting for supervisor she got on the phone with a lot of static on the line. I gave her my number and she never gave me a call right back like she said she would.

    I am so disappointed in Assurant. In all the years that I am using cell phone I never lose my phone and this one time I really need its Insurance to back me up Assurant totally failed in helping a loyal customer. I would appreciate if someone would reach out to me to resolve this issue but I did speak to a nice gentleman last night who attempted to file a new claim for me which is all I wanted so I can get a phone. I'm not sure if my claim will be denied today but something needs to happen. I think this is totally not fair and not professional.

    A supervisor did call me yesterday but I was in the middle of handling business and I could not talk but when but when I called Assurant to get to the bottom of this issue it's like pulling teeth with your phone system. I had Witnesses at the T-Mobile store in disbelief at how your company treated me. Leaving me on hold for 20-30 minutes at a time to come back to tell me there's nothing they can do.

    Even if I do get this claim approved and get a new phone I just want a Assurant to know how incomparable and unprofessional you handled my case. I understand my situation may be unique and maybe a little Bizarre but that events that I reported are the events that happened and there should be some type of solution to handle situations like this and by handling it is not telling your customer there's nothing you can do. That is not good customer care. I feel like why do I have insurance if you cannot make me whole? Isn't that what insurance is for?

    I pay for insurance for cellphone replacement. I spent $50 for a replacement cellphone after my screen broke. I was supposed to get a "certified" new replacement. Instead I received a cellphone that turns off automatically at 56% battery. I was told by two ladies from Assurant PHP I had 10 days if I wasn't happy. I call on the 9th day and a lady tells me it's not 10 days. It's 7. How convenient for y'all. You people care disgusting for 1. this so called insurance, 2. Sending crap phones as a replacement, 3. For being liars. Metro by TMobile is not trustworthy.

    I was tracking this package because I really need it as soon as possible.     So because of a delay in your shipping The replacement phone it caused me to spend an extra $50 to Ship it To my son at school In Virginia, If the phone got here like it was supposed to Friday morning There would have been a problem. I even waited till Saturday afternoon thinking that the phone would arrive before I had a drive them back, When the phone finally got here on Tuesday evening, I couldn't believe how long it took when I went out of my way To make the call on Thursday afternoon, I've done this before and it only takes 24 hours to get the device. How come it took so many days?

    My experience was pretty good once it was processed. The only issue I had was confusion on what Assurant was looking for to complete. I received a phone call with a message left to send a current bill. I then received an email as well for the same request. I immediately sent it but the claim sat for several days. The agent told me it wasn't processed because although I sent the information I didn't call back and confirm I sent it. I would think there would need to be a check and balance system if an email is sent, then that should cancel out the phone call. Other than that - the phone was expedited and back in use. Thank you.

    Spectrum had said that my last name remaining my maiden name was not an issue. It was. They also spelt my name incorrectly on the paperwork. Because my identification and name on the account didn’t match, the process was delayed. The customer service rep that I spoke with suggested that I change my last name back to my maiden name and resubmit identification with that name on it. Ridiculous.     I got transferred five to six times just to make the 10 payment to get my phone replaced. I felt like no one was competent or observant enough. Nobody actually listened.
