I lost my phone made a claim and received my phone in less than 48 hours. It was a good phone I mean by a phone that works. I did not have to call for another one. Bravo

Pleasant customer service. Also didn't know that the 10 days for return of device includes Saturday and Sunday. I thought it would just be business days, (Monday through Friday). And I was told by Customer Service to go to an actual Post Office which is quite a distance from my home and I have no transportation.

This company rocks. They were so fast! I filed the claim online, and then there was an error (mine), so I received an email immediately. I called customer service where I spoke to a real human being immediately, and they were so friendly and helpful! Definitely recommend!!!

I had to go a long while to get my phone replaced. Service was excellent and expedient. I was taken good care of concerning my replacement. Luckily the situation was resolved. I'll definitely use Assurant again.

Assurant handled my claim with the utmost professionalism. Everything was done in a timely manner and exceeded my expectations. The phone arrived in a matter of days and the entire process from start to finish was less than 4 days.

The shipping was fast but when they send me an iPhone locked from Xfinity with T-Mobile SIM card I couldn’t do anything. I had to call T-Mobile and T-Mobile send me a iPhone right away unlocked. When Assurant told me to send them the iPhone and then they will send me another one that’s the reason they get 2 stars from me.

My husband and I were tricked. We initially signed up for the insurance because it advised that it would be $30 to fix a cracked screen. When we went to file a claim, we were informed that the insurance only covered Apple products, we both have Samsung galaxy s10s. There was no clear text when this insurance was purchased that it only covered Apple products. It took awhile of back and forth in chat, but in the end we received a new phone to replace the one with a cracked screen. It all worked out, but it was by no means easy.

Replacement was not properly working. Returned the device, however it's been over a week and I haven't received a new replacement that works properly. So far the worse experience ever. Having to recall.

The phone that’s you gave me is a piece of crap... just because of that crap phone I could not get up on time and was late to office.. Coz after putting alarm on it my phone got turned off automatically... And due to that I freaking had to be late to work.., check the stuff before you send it out... else don’t. And yes even your website does not work if I tried to track my phone... Thanks.. I would appreciate if that 99 bucks can be refunded back to me... If you really care for the feedback since you guys sent me an email to give you a feedback that how was my bad experience.

My phone had fallen thought I could live with corner spider crack until I noticed two hairline cracks horizontally and vertically and my stylus was missing. I put in a claim and I paid my $99 deductible. Everything was smooth and immediate. They replaced my phone, no problems.

I recently submitted a claim to Assurant, submitting claim was easy. The issue I had was when the claim was approved 12 pm ET. It did not arrive until Monday. I called on Friday to get a confirmation number. I was told that I would get a follow up email. I wasn’t told until I called that there would be a delay. On order I confirmed I requested a black band and not a pink band. Overall quick but misleading.

Customer service was absolutely excellent, and my replacement arrived very quickly. The phone is even in the best condition I've ever received a replacement phone in. The only issue is I really needed my replacement to be a Note like my old phone. I can't afford the trade in right now and I usually draw and sketch out my designs for customs at work and email the changes. I relied on the S pen pretty heavily. Now I have one less tool at my disposal. I understand they don't make the Note 5 and 6 anymore, 7 was recalled and the 8 is newer and pretty expensive. But I would have been more willing to pay a larger deductible to not lose that functionality.

Sent in the damaged phone on Monday and it's still saying you have not received it. HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE. If my phone isn't returned after a certain amount of time I'm gonna have to pay in full for something I already sent it.

My daughter's phone was stolen while stuyding abroad. We submitted the claim the same day and received an email from Apple stating Assurant would be in contact in the next few days. Five days later we had not heard back from Assurant. I called Assurant and the agent stated there was no claim in progress and referred me back to Apple. I called Apple and they said it was Assurant's problem. Long story short, after a few back and forth between Apple and Assurant (one blaming the other), Assurant told me "something must have gone wrong with the online system" and that my claim was "in limbo" and needed to wait 48 hours for it to expire so that I could start a new one. 72 hours later, I contacted Apple again to start a new claim.
As I attempted to do this, the Assurant site stated that a "claim was in progress" and would not allow me to continue. The Apple representative initiated a 3 way call between me, Apple and Assurant and after a good hour it was determined I needed to wait another 48 hours for this other claim (which no one could explain what happened) to expire. At this point, at least 10 days have passed since my daughter's phone was stolen. No one could explain why the Assurant site said there was a claim in progress but yet they did not have a claim. Absolutely maddening. 48 hours later, I called Apple and was finally successful at completing the claim information with Assurant.
However, upon entering the phone information, the site immediately denied the claim because "Find My Iphone" was off. I called Apple and later Assurant because we have emails proving the FindMyIphone feature was on at the time of the theft. My daughter received an email from FindmyIphone stating her phone was locked. I explained this to the Assurant agent. The agent said there was nothing she could do and stated that all I could do was to file an appeal and this could ONLY be done via conventional mail. I've sent a letter and documentation that proves that at the time of the theft, FindMyIPhone was indeed on.
I have yet to hear back from anyone at Assurant acknowledging my letter. have since learned I'm not the only one who has experienced a claim denial because Assurant claims that FindMYIPhone was off. I'm thinking this is a tactic to deny claims. Making people appeal via snail mail appears to be a tactic to discourage people to appeal. I will NEVER recommend anyone purchase AppleCare and deal with Assurant.

Furthermore, when the replacement device was delivered, it was packaged with enough to not allow damage, but not so much that it was hard to get to. My only complaint is that I had to go through a process to get the replacement phone activated, but I understand that it was for security reasons (theft/porch pirates, etc.), so I suppose that's not a valid complaint. Screen not responding. It was simple and straightforward. Took only one day to get my new phone and about an hour to use smart switch. Even included a return pack so that I wouldn't have to worry about paying for the shipping and handling.

My iPhone had a cracked screen and damaged case near the cracked screen. The iPhone was still working. Assurant replaced my damaged iPhone. The new iPhone works beautifully and I am very satisfied with the service I received.

My phone, Samsung Galaxy S9 slipped from my hand and the screen got cracked. I filed my claim with Assurant. For me, I cracked the screen on my phone and Assurant said they would send me a replacement phone. Although it's a refurb, it was very clean and free of scratches. Going through the whole process Assurant made the whole process easy and simple to follow. Even providing the materials to return the broken phone.

Overall this insurance company is wanting me to change carriers because of the way you guys handled everything giving me a used phone that didn’t work and so on. You're not supposed to give us floor model phones. They are not real phones.

You sent me a broken refurbished phone which didn't transfer half my data and wouldn't track finger strokes on the screen. I asked to have the handset replaced with a working phone and was told I had to send in the bad one first, which would have made me lose the rest of my data. Supervisor said that's Assurant policy and nothing he could do, went round and round four over half hour before T-mobile stepped in and resolved in their end after reporting to THEIR supervisor what you were putting me through. Horrible policy!

Phone was stolen. Assurant was prompt and professional. However, when purchasing the phone was never told about the $180.00 dollar deductible. Phone was, quickly sent out but without the charger which at the time of the claim it was discussed that my wife had been on a trip so of course her charger was stolen as well. Assurant did not send a charger with the new phone. I would not consider this an accessory since you cannot charge the phone without it. Kimberly at assurant was very helpful who is a floor supervisor. However the warehouse was out of stock on the charger and the best she could do was for me to purchase a standard wall charger not the fast wall charger and they would refund me for a standard charger. Overall satisfied.

UPS tracking states that the phone was "left on the front desk." My husband was at work at the time indicated as well as a secretary. No package arrived at that time. The front desk of the RV park where we are living was closed on Tuesday, so it could not have been left there. Still without a phone.

Mechanical breakdown. I received the replacement and was able to get it activated over the phone. (We have no Metro Store in Pahrump.) This is the first time I have had to return a phone so I was worried about returning it to factory reset and transfer data to the new phone. All in all it was ok. I would recommend your company.

It was extremely easy to get the replacement phone. It came the next day and was all charged up. My only suggestion is that you allow the customer to use an alternate email address, since the only way I have to check email is with my phone (which is broken, because I am replacing it).

Did not want insurance. This was for my daughter's dance recital and I was charged by mistake. I was supposed to receive a refund which never happened. Called the day of purchase and several times after was told I was sent 2 refund checks which never happened. Worst and most unprofessional company.

I have Note 5 and having trouble with it so I called to file a claim and they didn't have any Note 5's left so I was offered Galaxy S8. I explained that I would rather receive another Note instead because I use my phone for work and the S- pen is really handy for what I do...so I was told that I needed to write a letter on company letter stating why I need the s-pen. We pay this company hundreds of dollars a year for insurance and we spend hundreds and thousands of dollars on devices that we won't and when we file a claim we can't get what we pay for. This company is a rip off. We work hard for our money. We do not what to throw it away.

Many of the Assurant representatives I spoke to over the course of 3 days showed they were incompetent in handling my claim. Your representatives need to be thoroughly trained in your claim process. The experience with your representatives was frustrating and left me with a negative opinion of Assurant.

Once I learned that I needed to file online to establish a claim. I did so immediately and was emailed the claim had been established, Then I waited to hear more. I was most disappointed to wait several days before going an online to investigate why I had not heard anything. Eventually I resorted to an online chat trying to understand why I had not heard about the status of my claim which still showed as pending. It turned out there is a tab labeled documents that had a message saying more information was needed, I didn't check this tab because I submitted no documents and was not told that Assurance had generated one. They sent me message about the claim. Why didn't they inform me about this?
Once we opened the documents tab it turns out that an error requesting additional information was just sitting there. It turned out that all that was needed was confirmation of the primary account holder's address. Since this is MY insurance on MY phone what does the primary account holder have to do with it? If, for some reason the information was essential, why did I not receive an email either requesting the information or at least telling to visit the website and where to look for information?
Additionally, emails addressed to me continue to call me Karen, who is the primary account holder, even though the insurance I purchased is, or certainly should be, listed in my name on my phone and not hers. Karen has nothing to do with this insurance. It's time you fixed your coding to be far more informative and user friendly. Either do everything pertaining to processing via email or not. To start and email process and not continue is confusing and inconsistent. That said, once I was able to chat with a human being things did get resolved quickly. However, it required both of us to retrace all the steps I had taken not once, but twice to discover the message. Better program design could have avoided that need, reducing my frustration and the time it took to resolve things.

I wouldn't be surprised if Assurant is just rebranded.. From The absolute worst phone insurance company Asurion... Such horrible service customer service from an insurance company. Their entire business model... Is based on complete b.s. It's too much to explain the entire process of both my claims that were never fulfilled and I was blatantly LIED to by one of the Assurant employees.

The entire process was very simple, even for someone like me, who is not very tech savvy. From opening my claim, receiving my replacement phone, transferring everything from my old to new phone, to returning my old phone. I like the fact that T-Mobile and Assurant has made the entire process simple.

I filed a claim, I got approved and my phone was being sent to me. Then, the next day it got cancelled in this shipment got returned. I called and called and nobody can answer my question straight forward about why my shipment got returned. It took over four months for me even get my phone back and I still did not get an explanation and I had to send corporate a letter through the mail. I wish there were other choices for T-Mobile's phone insurance. I love T-Mobile but not necessarily their Insurance Partners. Just a peace of my mind.

It is DAY 9 and I still have zero correspondence about my claim (which is not very complex by the way). I have called multiple times only to be told that my "claim is still under review" and they'll need to extend it. This is the worst service I have ever experience from a company. Their ONLY shining quality is the nice folks on their customer service team. I am absolutely appalled about how long this has taken and the amount of time I've spent calling to check-in. Truly Outrageous.

I have used your service 2 times. This most recent time was really bad. I have owned my new Note 10 Plus for only a few months and the face was damaged. When I called in to get the replacement Assurant rep was going to send me a Galaxy 7 as the replacement. I had to call T-Mobile to force you guys to give me the equivalent of what I bought. I will be stopping my insurance as a result soon.

Every claim I filed the phones never worked correctly. I just received a new phone 12/30/2019, that was getting very hot and making a popping sound, I reported the problems but to no avail, nothing was done. Now it was knocked off a table and stepped on and you're telling me I have exceeded my claims, just not fair at all. And no I would not recommend your company, y'all issuing out non working phones to paying customers

I had a blue phone and you sent a purple one. When I called to ask why the change happened I was told told that the phones color couldn't be guaranteed. There's one thing that is guaranteed and that this policy is a bunch of crap. I don't want a purple phone. Now I don't want Assurant either, y'all are the epitome of ** customer service. I have notified T-Mobile that my account will close at the end of the next billing cycle and the crappy service from Assurant is a big reason for this change.

Rude employees on the phone, incomplete information in emails. It took 3 emails and 4 phone calls to get my phone shipped to me. Employees on the blamed US Cellular and myself when in fact the error was on Assurant's part. I would never recommend them.

(My entire car was stolen and had my purse in it; so I had to replace a ton of items and received discounts everywhere, except with this phone.)

Easy process but wife had a rose gold iPhone that just so happened to fall out the car window. Anyway paid the 175 to get it replaced and she received a red one. Now y'all might not think that's a big deal but when pay as much as them dang phones cost the color is important as well. Would be like your car insurance company replacing a pretty white car with a hideous yellow one. You'd be pretty upset too. No heads up on it either. Just opened the box and there was a red iphone. Not too many women gonna be happy about that. Now you already know I'll have to replace the phone entirely just because it's red and not rose gold! Kinda shiesty if you ask me.

Assurant MAX+Protection plan company. They always send refurbished phones, that are not reliable, I personally face many problems. Whenever they send phone always some problem with cellphones. Sometimes software problem, glass problem, not working well.

My daughter's phone broke and we made our claim, the phone we received is for sure refurnished. We cannot hear on the phone unless the phone is on speaker. We ended up purchasing a new phone to just not even deal with the headache of doing another claim.

I have utilized Assurant's services several times over the past 15 years. Always fast, efficient, knowledgeable, reliable, and pleasant. Have yet to come across any issues. Trusted 100%! The only hiccup I ran across was beyond their control (I kept being referred to Apple Care when I, in fact, did not have Apple Care) but they were quick to remedy the situation (an 'Apple' issue, not an Assurant issue). I had the replacement device less than 24 hours later. Will continue to utilize them for all my device insurance needs and couldn't recommend a better company.

At first all went well with the time to receive the replacement phone. But after I opened it up I noticed it was not the same color and it was a refurbished phone even though I paid the 249 deductible. When I contacted support I got the, "Well we can't control color etc and all we send is a similar phone," even though on the outside of the box it has color and the model number also states color of phone. I have screen shots to prove it. So far I have been trying to get the replacement phone to work properly. Thankfully T-mobile is working with me and helping with my phone and I don't have to deal with Assurant.
Color match is not guaranteed, the first available device is sent out regardless of color to ensure our customers get back up and running as fast as possible. I cracked my screen on my Samsung Note 9. I contacted several repair companies, and they wanted $300 to repair. I contacted Assurant. I paid one third of the cost, and I had the replacement the next day. I complained about paying for the insurance, I am so glad I have it.

My phone was damaged but I have insurance on it. I submitted a claim and it was delayed after it was approved due to request for copy of my phone bill. It was approved after submission of said statement and shipped to the wrong address. Once I tracked down the mistake I called Assurant and my initial contact was polite, professional, and empathic toward me. He retrieved his manager to help settle the issue.
She was abrasive and suggested first that I go down the street to try to retrieve the package myself and then suggested that I may have given my own address incorrectly to the agent resulting in the mistaken delivery. She told me it could take 5 days to investigate even though she had all the information. That was Tuesday February 25th, it is Sunday March 1st and I haven't received so much as an email stating they are working on getting me my new phone. On top of that they have already withdrawn the 99 dollar deductible from my account and I am still without a properly working phone.

As a customer who normally doesn't send things through the mail, this was a stressing process. However, most of the directions were extremely clear and easy to follow. I would've preferred to return the damaged device through the supplier of my device instead, but at the end of the day I still received my replacement device, and everything worked out.

When my phone was damaged I was provided a super FAST replacement of even an updated version of my broken phone. The return of my old phone was simple with instructions and packaging provided. I was notified as soon as the old phone was received. Best alternative to having to purchase new phone at 6 times the cost.

You keep sending me cheaper and cheaper phones to replace my 2nd line. We had a Samsung and you sent a crappy LG. We didn't want and are not using. If we pay for a samsung Galaxy then replace it with a Samsung. The last time you replaced the 2nd line you sent a cheap crappy replacement vs what we had. Very disappointed. We went and brought a phone elsewhere and threw this on in a closet in the box unused.. Awful company especially when you pay for YEARS every month on time!!!

I was charged a hefty fee of $14 a month and when I finally had to use it, I had to also pay a deductible of $99 with nobody told me about and secondly I received a reconditioned or used phone. Totally unacceptable. I've canceled your service and I will never use it again.

You guys are the worst experience I've ever had with an insurance company ever in my 39 years. I lost my phone, you guys approved it. Then call FedEx and had it shipped back to you and wouldn't give me an explanation why. Told me I had to write a hand written letter to corporate if I had any questions. I did that and still received no answers till this day. After paying the $50 deductible and all, I still had to go out a purchase a new phone. You guys are horrible.

If I could cancel I would! It was the worse experience ever! Slow and not helpful!! I will definitely tell everyone to stay away and go to ATT for service and good they don’t use this insurance carrier. I usually get a phone overnighted to me and this time it took 4-5 days. Lack of communication with T-Mobile to verify my information. I pay monthly premiums and never do you need to verify my damn address or id to receive those darn payments. This could of been cleared within a day time frame if you would CALL T-Mobile. But you will not go that extra mile for your customers I see.

Submitted claim in October 2019. Had continued problems resolving claim. Unreasonable demands were place on me such as requiring original purchase receipt (even though it was not purchased at T-Mobile). Apparently all the information needed to identify the phone and process the claim was available electronically when the I signed up. Ultimately I had to contact the California department of Consumer Affairs Bureau of Household Goods and Services for help. Finally in February 2020 (4 months after initiating the claim) I received my replacement phone. This was an unnecessary and brutal experience.

It is the worst possible. The people who I spoke with were terrible at explaining the situation and process. Getting my replacement phone was delayed due to the fact that their explaining my options was so poor. Then to top that off the phone I was sent malfunctioned 2 days after receiving it. So not only could I pay $100 to replace my phone, I didn't have a usable phone for 4 days even though I have to pay for service on those days, I had to pay for a 3rd phone and won't be able to get my money back for 14 days. So glad my "full coverage" plan I have been paying for monthly for 6 years is so useful.

I have had Assurant for over 15 yrs. Never had a problem. Someone stole my phone I put a claim in. They want to verify account. I am power of attorney for the account. Submitted account holders ID, wasn’t good enough. I’m his daughter. He has dementia. I have not been able to get him a new iD because he refuses to leave the house so I only submitted what I have. They said 3-5 days but never let me know that what I submitted was not acceptable. Now I have to wait 3-5 days more. Still no phone. I’m the account manager I get no info. You call their call center is in Philippines or South Africa. Very frustrating. What’s the look of paying for insurance If you can’t use it?!!!

I filed a claim for a damaged phone on 2/19/20. I was told the phone would arrive on 2/21/20. Here it is 2/28/20 and I have yet to receive the replacement phone. I was told by UPS that Assurant did not get the phone to them in a timely manner so that is why I did not receive it on the promised day. I was then told it would come on 2/22/20 and it was not delivered. I then was told it would be delivered on 2/25/20 and it was not delivered.
When I contacted Assurant about the fact that the phone had not been delivered, I was told to contact UPS directly. That they could no longer help me. I have had to initiate an investigation with UPS. When filing the initial Assurant claim it took numerous attempts on your automated system. When I was finally connected with an actual human being, John, he was extremely helpful. Overall I am VERY unhappy with this entire process and still have a broken phone. This is the only claim that I have ever made and when you figure out the price that I have actually paid for the insurance over 4 years, it is absolutely RIDICULOUS!

As I was snowblowing, I dropped my phone into the auger of the snowblower. It shot out the chute and was destroyed. One call to Assurant and after answering a couple of questions, I received an email from them assuring me it would be covered. The bonus came with the information that they were going to upgrade my phone to the newest Google phone at no extra charge. I am totally pleased with Assurant as my phone insurance! The process was totally painless on my part, even when returning the damaged phone to them. They took care of it all!

The process was terrible from start to finish. Frustrated after my phone was stolen, I call T-Mobile for a replacement. Once I reached a representative of Assurant, I was told I needed the IEM. That’s not an issue, but I should had been told that from the start. I had to be sent back to T-Mobile and then back to Assurant; only for the next representation to not require the IEM. So there are inconsistencies with the policies and procedures. I then had to be without a phone for 5 days, not including the shipping time. The process was unorganized, long, and frustrating for a person who pays for insurance every month and once the victim of the crime be treated terrible by Assurant customer service folks. Do better, period!

The phone replaced had a big blue line across it. It's horrible and the screen looks faded out, the line goes through the entire screen. You can see it when the phone is on but not when off. Must be some pixel malfunction. How is this a replacement??

When I first reported my iPhone got lost, they took action right away but after a day, I got an email saying that my iPhone 6 that was lost was not covered under my protection plan because the gigabytes was incorrect. At that time on my first conversation with the person in charge I was only given three options of which the correct gigabytes was not an option so I choose the lesser or the middle of the three options. So they corrected the problem then another issue came about that they needed to wait another 48 hours to process my case, so at that time I was really up to my frustration so I asked for the manager and she gave me a little relief and it was solved perfectly. I got my iPhone earlier than expected. And that I was very happy. Job well done! Shoutout to the manager who help me out!

There is an obvious disconnect with the Assurant/Tmobile relationship. The fact that it took me as long as it did to receive my replacement phone, when I sent in all of the information that I had including IMEI number and needing the receipt etc...was an absolute joke. You can't fake an IMEI number on a phone. I had all of the information I could get about purchasing the phone and sent it, and that wasn't even enough. I was given the run around from mobile via phone, t-mobile store, assurance and it was a complete hassle.
In the end I send again, the same information a week or so later and now its finally approved it was a ridiculous turbulent process, and really got in the way of my business where my phone is a huge priority, the system is flawed and seems to me, made to be difficult so that customers give up and just get a new phone or take the cost off of you guys. Disappointed. I've paid for this insurance for YEARS and have rarely even used it and this makes you understand why you just pay for Apple care.

Took over a week for entire process. And for me to get my phone. Your reps aren't trained to understand and explain why some people need to submit identification and why some don't. I had to submit mine three times. I pay for overnight yet it took this long. Neither you nor Tmobile would be accommodating and adjust the deductible to a lower price. Got new phone fired up and going. Was a major pain to transfer stuff from old phone to the new Note 8 I have. My new phone has tons and tons and tons of popup ads on it now. Wasn't like that with my last Note 8. Not very happy. I can't figure out what is going on. Also the talk to speech is very very poor.

T-Mobile sent connected twice to their system and it kicked me back to T-Mobile. The T-Mobile rep. stayed online until I was connected. Once I got to paying the deductible the automated system couldn't finish the transaction. So back to a representative to finish.

The loss of a phone is certainly a much larger issue these days and we found that to be the case when my daughter's phone was stolen while traveling through Spain. I was told one thing by Metro and y'all told me another. So unprofessional. I paid 100$ deductible. I have never paid more than 50. I was lied to. Not happy period about it. And my phone was late getting to me. I was told I could pay my deductible in store. That was a lie. I am removing the Insurance off all 4 phones. Y'all are a waste of my $.

The replacement of my damaged phone was excellent. The only thing which gave me a problem was trying to clear information off the damaged phone. After paying for insurance for well over a year, I would have preferred a new phone and not refurbished.

I paid $99 deductible and received my replacement phone no problem. Sent broken phone back to Assurant using their provided packaging and return label. Package was confirmed by the PO it was delivered to Assurant's facility. Assurant states the package was torn open and phone missing. Post office said it was in package during their scans in the system. I have called Assurant three times, told the whole story each time, on hold forever, while I'm at work. A supervisor was supposed to contact me within 24 hours no return call. I don't have the time (working) or money for this. I did what they instructed using their packaging how can they charge me again when I returned the phone per their instructions? The post office scanned it in the system at 8 different locations proof that I returned it.. Come on Assurant you need to take responsibility here. Your return label was obviously not insured... How is this my fault?

I filed a claim and received a replacement phone that did not connect to the sim and stopped turning on after the first day. In the package there was a slip that said the product was inspected and met their high standards. This company is a ripoff and now I have to go without a phone until my replacement and my one phone needs to be returned through UPS and my other through Fedex. A bunch of ** idiots at Assurant.

It was a bit of a challenge getting the claim initiated and the representative I spoke with was somewhat difficult to understand but did a good job handling my claim. I would like to see better automation from the My T-Mobile site carrying over to the Assurant site for quicker and easier submissions on the claim itself. But overall, I am happy with the experience and the replacement phone arrived quickly.

My screen cracked so, I activate the replacement process and it went downhill quickly. I received the replacement device which was not comparable to the NOTE being replaced. Basically, I was told to deal with it and if I needed a "NOTE (with stylus) that I needed a letter from employer on letterhead to justify replacing a note with a note regardless of the version. I asked, how a letter from employer was relevant to my personal phone? Nothing serious from that and this was from a supervisor...smh.

I lost my phone in downtown Sacramento. Or so I thought. So I went to the T-Mobile store and filed the claim. 5 minutes after finishing the claim, I found my phone. I called Assurant and asked them if they could cancel the phone and the Claim. They said they couldn't do that and then I could just mail back the phone. So, I am hoping that my refund of the phone will actually be refunded to me. I have yet to be notified of this information. I wish I could have also known that they were going to turn off my phone period and no one notified me of that. If I do not get a refund of the phone that I've returned, you will be hearing from me.

The phone agent was very nice & handled my claim quickly & accurately. I received my phone on the day I was told. I don't like the $50 deductible that I had to pay because I pay a premium every month. I had my phone since 11/2017. Maybe that could be taken into consideration. I am having technical problems getting everything to copy over from the old phone. Tech support was no help.

I returned my Galaxy S8 cellphone because of cracked screen. I was told replacement phone would arrive w/in 24 hrs, but rec'd it 4 days from claim establishment. Replacement phone was not fully operable until yesterday, due to installment issues. Will return broken device tomorrow, in Hope's there will be no report of non timely return, I will request receipt from USPS.

I purchased phone replacement insurance through T-Mobile and filed a claim in October 2019. During this time I was in the process of moving and the phone was mistakenly packed away in the wrong box. On 02/1/2020 I was charged 79.00 for the phone and it was located a few days later. I spoke with T-Mobile and was 2 weeks ago and was told to bring the new phone in and they would assist me in returning the old phone. I went in and completed the process and mailed the phone on 2/19/2019 and it was received on 2/21/2020. I called T-Mobile and the agent stayed on the line with me while the account was researched.
The agent from Assurant stated they received the phone but would not credit my account back for the 79.00 because it was more than 90 days. I then asked if I could have my phone back and she said No!! Refused to give me the number for Corporate. I understand that a deadline was in place but I was never told I would not be credited so not ONLY have I paid the 79.00 BUT they also have the phone that I sent back which will be repaired and sold again to someone else. The agent refused to speak with a supervisor to see if an exception could be made. I AM NOT A HAPPY CAMPER/CUSTOMER RIGHT NOW.

This warranty was sold to me with the belief that I would get a "brand new" phone if I needed a replacement. I was also told that my replacement fee was $79.00 and when I actually needed the replacement, it was $99.00. I have an LG G6. My warranty cost was about $130 so I ended up paying about $250.00 for my "refurbished" LG G6 that I could have bought on Amazon for under $200.00 so this warranty is basically a ripoff unless you have the latest most expensive phone available and you don't mind getting a rebuilt phone. I will be sure to decline this warranty on my next phone purchase. Don't get sucked in by the sales pitch like I did!

Quick response and expedited delivery made the experience tolerable. Frustrated by the high replacement cost makes the monthly fee seem less helpful. Perhaps I should have just switched carriers and got a free phone instead of staying with T-Mobile.

My iPhone 11 was lost on 2/8. I filled the report on 2/8. I completed All paperwork and submitted everything v requested by 2/9. I followed up almost every day and my claim was not approved until the 15th!! Therefore I didn’t receive the phone until the end on the day of 2/18!! Exactly 10 Days after the phone was lost. On this day and age, who can be without a phone for 10 days!? I’ve lost clients and important phone calls because I didn’t have my phone available. I find the time it took unacceptable particularly when no other associate on the phone can explain why. Of course the insurance will not compensate me in any way. But frankly I’m even considering. Changing phone providers because of this.

Paid $30 to ship a few ounces of phone! For EXPEDITION! Still took 4 days to get phone! I missed the small print "business days". THAT is not acceptable in 2020. I get orders from Amazon overnight with Sunday delivery! Will most likely drop insurance-my phone isn't worth the monthly fee PLUS $100 deductible+ $30 shipping that's SLOW!!!

I received my FIRST replacement phone around December 2, 2019 but something was wrong with it. I sent that defective REPLACEMENT back and it was DELIVERED ON 12-13-2019. I have been calling them because I received 2 letters stating that I didn't return the phone. I have been on hold each time I called for over an hour. Customer service told me they can see that the phone was delivered warehouse, but not scanned and now I am being charged $463.00. The phone was delivered.

Stolen phone. On the ramp waiting for the train. A citizen said he had an emergency come up and he needed to contact his friend to warn of some impending conflict or danger. I dialed the number and when there was no answer. I turned to the citizen to advise there was no answer. That's when the person snatched the phone and ran. I notified authorities but the person disappear in the crowd. Nowhere to be seen.

Customer service is horrible!! When paraphrasing they're very condescending - almost chuckling when they know you're frustrated. There are no real process/guidelines put into place - one dept doesn't have notes of the other dept. They cannot call/email the Underwriters reviewing your claim but yet they claim they're one and the same company but the bottom of your emails show differently. Nothing and I mean nothing gets resolved until you open up a complaint with the BBB. And when reading the negative feedback, it seems that these people were treated exactly the same as me!! I've paid insurance for years not using them AT ALL except this one time! As soon as I tested my new phone, I quickly terminated my insurance. My experience was so bad that I would rather pay to get a new phone than for them to take my money each month and treat me like they did, no sir, not in this lifetime ever again.

Your service is very bad!!! I had to walk six miles to pick up my phone. You wouldn't allow FedEx to drop the phone off at one of their stores. I had moved from my old address. You would not take my new address because you have my old address. I started this process on the 12th of February. After walking a total of six miles to get my phone because you would not help me. I called at lease 10 times explaining the problem only to get, "Can't help you." Then you told FedEx to ship the phone back. I told FedEx the situation I was in and they delayed the shipment back to you. That I could pick up my phone from the main hub. You failed me as a customer and your service sucks!!!

After length of calls, one supervisor finally help out to get my phone replaced. However the phone that was mailed to me have speaker problem which I can hear anything unless I put it on speaker, I have to call again before I was directed to nearby Best-Buy to get it fixed. Pay 30 extra dollars a month through TMobile for total protection 360 and was involved in an accident where both devices were lost/damaged. Filed a claim for my Pixel 3a xl and got immediate approval so I go and file my second claim for the LG Stylo 5. They make me wait over 3 days to tell me they denied my 2nd claim because I didn't have the protection on the Stylo 5 which was a lie. I contacted TMobile where they did in fact confirm I have the protection and I am still without my other replacement phone for the line and now the other person has to you a cheap unlocked Metro by TMobile phone that doesn't work well because someone at Assurant messed up or doesn't want to do their job correctly.

My screen was broken and they only gave me three locations to fix my phone. 2 of them were 1 hour away and the other I had to across a bridge, pay toll and pay for parking, plus in San Francisco. Top it all off the San Francisco location was close for Chinese New Year, which I needed my phone on Friday because I was traveling. So l had to pay extra money and so they had to overnight me a phone. Talk about a huge inconvenience and they claimed that they couldn't do anything to compensate me. You paid insurance for all this and they sent you a refurbished phone. They suck.

I've been with T-Mobile for 5 years as a customer and employee & have ALWAYS had insurance on ALL of my devices. However, when it comes time to use the insurance, I had to wait for an investigation of the lost device. WHY?? Before that, I had a tablet that cost $168 and did a warranty exchange. The terms from Assurant says warranty exchanges DO NOT count as an insurance claim. So, why did mine? NOBODY was able to answer that, not even the manager. Because of my poor experience, I can NOT recommend Assurant to a customer. When they complain about the poor service from Assurant. I can TRULY relate! They raise premiums & we still pay so our devices will be covered. But, when they AREN'T, what's next???
