This was a simple fast experience even though I couldn't get my picture out. My new phone came the next day. l just want to thank T Mobile and the team because I really needed my phone for my work and business.

Long story short, someone tried to steal my son's phone from him which resulted in the phone getting broke. Assurant was extremely professional and very quick with my claim. The phone was replaced within 2 days! Thank You Assurant!

When I got the replacement which did arrive fairly quickly. It only works for calls unless hooked to wifi. 3G works intermittently but is slow as crap. Called Assurant so I could get another replacement that worked correctly and I have to send this phone off in order to get another replacement. So I lose all my documents and info on the phone. Customer service rep over the phone was no help. Definitely won't be paying for the insurance on my next phone. Upgrading today so I can transfer over all documents to new phone. Nothing like paying more because the insurance company isn't worth a crap.

For the first time in my life, I paid for insurance on my phone and I'm really glad I had it. Somehow, I broke my phone screen while it was in my pocket. I went online, filed a claim, paid my deductible and received my phone within 2 days. It shipped straight to my front door, came with new charger, headphones and even had a screen protector installed. My expectations were very low, especially after I realized it was through a third party company, but they exceeded expectations and completely changed my opinion going forward. This was a fantastic experience!

The tablet was delivered to my house when I had been at work. It was delivered at 4:03 and when I got home at 8 pm my tablet was not in my mailbox and my wife had not seen it when she brought in the mail. I have no idea where it is or how to go about tracking it to find it without my find my phone app.

I put a claim in to replace my cell phone screen and was able to the same day! Fast, easy, and user friendly. One of the few times an insurance claim actually felt like it was putting the customer first.

I spoke with a young woman in South Africa. She was very polite very courteous with me. I questioned her about the conditions where she was. She explained to me what was happening. I enjoyed her conversation. I was quite surprised when my phone arrived in one day.

This company is so exploitative, I tried to file a report because my phone was damaged. In the midst of that, somehow the phone goes insane and I get a message prompted saying my phone is in lost mode. I called Assurant and off the next 5 hours jumped around as they had me call Apple and back to them. Worst Experience, this company is completely fraudulent. I have the most expensive insurance plan, yet somehow their system freaks out puts my phone in lost mode and been I call they say, "We can’t find it in the system here."
In the midst of a pandemic when most of the country can barely afford to keep a roof over their head, one of their customer service reps says, "If we can't see It in the system you will have to purchase a whole new phone." When I explained over and over again this is not my fault this is an issue on their end, and it needs to be resolved as my phone is my only means to work and make no this time he said, "Well too bad. There’s nothing we can do for you." This is such a disgusting display of greed and simply exploiting people on their worst state. Money down the drain.

Although I was happy with the process, I was very disappointed with the replacement device. Doing everything online was easy, and the replacement device arrived quickly. However, I was replacing a damaged blue phone, and I received a purple phone in return. In the past I have always received an exact replacement as I would expect since I am paying monthly and a deductible as well. When I called to ask why I received something different, I was told "you get what you get". Being with Tmobile for over 16 years, I have had to replace a few phones through Assurant but never had this bad of an experience. We pay a lot of money these days for our luxury cell phones, as well as, we pay a decent amount to ensure any damage that might occur plus a deductible. Doesn't seem fair to me that you don't get what you pay for. "You get what you get".

Everyone can’t afford to buy a new device every time their device is lost, stolen, or damaged, so I think it’s good that Assurant gives everyone a chance to get their money’s worth out of the devices they pay for with a chance to insure their devices through Assurant.

Samsung note 10 plus. Phone was not available for immediate shipment. I contacted my cell phone provider and they contacted Assurant and suddenly 2 days later I got a shipment notification. The phone that arrived works fine so far. It was the wrong color though.

Phone has echo during calls. T-Mobile guy who was nice, tells me to reset the phone. This is totally confusing for normal people. If I do it one way, the data won't be deleted. However if I do it another way, I might delete all data. This phone is not fixed. Why would this company send me a phone that had not been tested to ensure it worked properly?

I placed a claim, due to my daughter's phone being damaged by water. I was advised to place a claim, pay the deductible and her phone would arrive. I paid the deductible and phone arrived the next day. Very convenient and efficient process. I will recommend Assurant to others.

I had a damaged screen and submitted the claim. First of all, while taking this insurance, I was not informed that replacement phones are refurbished ones. Also I was not told that color of the new phone may not be same as what I had. This is an apt case of cheating and fooling customers.

So first I was hit with an increased deductible. From 60+ dollars before to now over $100. That sucks. But then the new device I was sent is broken. Won’t connect to my iPhone XR. Now T-Mobile is doing all they can to rectify the situation. But it all takes time to put numbers in a computer to register the new broken watch so that they can replace it. All in all my point is that it is a whole week...almost two weeks later and I paid out over $100 and I still don’t have a working watch. My watch motivated me to move and kept this COVID-19 depression at bay. Sorry I’m sure everyone is doing their job to the best of their ability...my point is the system is broken.

Even though there is a pandemic going on this company has stepped up to the plate. I have received my new phone LESS than 24 hours of filing the claim and I was able to easily track the old phone while it was being shipped back since they've placed a tracking code on the return envelope. My original phone screen cracked when I dropped it Assurant charged me 100 to get what I thought would be a knew 1. They send me 2 phones. Now that dont work. I can't send or receive and only get 3g service.

Insurance process was quick and easy. Received the phone in two days. The only problem I had was getting it activated with Metro. Took two long phone calls to get it working. I miss them coming already activated.

Your CS agents & supervisors are awesome, but your protocol to assist insured personnel is messed up. You charge the deductible fee on day one & you do not provide a temporary device for the customer till the replacement arrives. In my case, I have a disabled son who needs special care and my phone is essential in my daily routine. I spent 10 (ten) days without a phone. You do not have a clue about my ordeal during these 10 days. Please, review your protocol. It is extremely incorrect.

Screen flickers after dropping. Had replacement phone sent. My original phone was blue, they sent me pink. When I called to tell them they sent the wrong color, Assurant representative told me to buy a phone cover to hide the color and they would not replace it and that I had to live with it.

My cell phone replacement was sent within two days. I returned the damaged cell in the mail in the "No Postage Required" envelope the very next day. No worries or issues. This was literally the worst customer care experience I've ever had. If I could give it a -5 stars I would. All 4 of the agents were incompetent. The first 2 agents, and 1 manager didn't provide me with a tracking number. The 4th agent was rude, and blatantly lied to me saying there wasn't any replacement phones in the warehouse. Yet my replacement phone came the next day. This occurred days after paying my deductible.
If I had a choice to use this service, or not I wouldn't. Seeing as I've been with T Mobile for over 15 years I would expect them to partner with a company with the same standards as them... I was extremely wrong. It was a stressful and bit of a traumatic experience. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. Please make some improvements to the customer care training program. It's truly lacking in several areas. Thank you for your time.

I wish the communication was better. Everything else was great service. My phone came a week late and there was no communication as to it was going to be late. I called customer service and didn't get help. I went to Willits and a agent there had to investigate and was able to at least inform me why it was taking long.

The customer service was great. The phone shipped extremely fast and I was impressed. However, I had a Blue Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and they shipped me a pink one. That is such a drastic color change and I hate it. The phone works perfectly though. I just had to buy a different phone due to this color that I hate.

I had to talk to a representative three different times and the phone reception was horrendous, I could barely hear them and there was a lot of static and interference on the phone, it was not background noise. It was the phone.

Persons I talked to on phone was great, but it’s been a week and still haven’t received my phone, now I’m afraid of being charged with that $900 for not returning the phone in cause I haven’t received the new one.

I am so happy my broken phone was replace (quickly!) during Covid-19. It is crucial to be in contact with others. Unfortunately, the phone I received doesn't work 70% of the time. It restarts all the time; even when I'm on calls. Messages never send. I cannot attach pictures to messages or emails.

Returned a phone that I paid over 300 for and received one that cost 150. New one is not waterproof. Can't drop. Can't get dusty. It is not a phone for a farmer. Guess I will hope I don't get caught in rainstorm.

My wife's phone would not turn on, would not charge at all, and we contacted T-Mobile, our provider. They immediately assessed the phone was inoperable and transferred us to Assurant, who quickly approved the replacement. Thank you for the quick service.

Everything was great except you sent me a pink phone!!! WHY??? I had the gray G7 and my wife has the raspberry (pink) G7. So I was wondering if there was some mix up when ordering on your end. The customer service rep was excellent; polite, helpful and efficient. My only complaint is the color of my new phone. I called back when I received it and whoever I spoke with said there was no mistake. It was what you had. So if that's true you should have contacted me and made a substitution (in my opinion). The claim process was fairly simple to complete, and I received my replacement phone in 8 days (I filed my claim on a Sunday). The only negative I would report would be when I would access the website to track the shipment of my replacement phone I was never able to access that information, I could only see that I filed a claim.

When I called T-Mobile, it was hard. I'm a vital service worker with The Port of Virginia. I had just found out that I was exposed to the virus. My hours were cut short because there were no ships coming to the Port. I was stressed out. I dropped my phone. I called the company that were extremely helpful. I have been with T-Mobile for over ten years and when they your computer picked up it was excellently handled. Thank you for helping. D** The Port of VA ILA 1248!!!!

My son who has Asperger's Syndrome/High Functioning Autism has had a phone for the last year. He since then has accidentally dropped the phone maybe 3 or 4 times and each time I have paid the deductible and gotten another sent out. I just got a letter in the mail yesterday that said we will no longer receive insurance. WHICH I AM VERY UPSET ABOUT!!

Screen was broken, then I call the insurance to ask them what to do. They help me as soon they heard my problem. They gave us phone replacement. Very prompt. I don’t have to worry of anything. I was very happy about their service. I highly recommend them to my friends that has the same insurance.

My husband ran over his cell phone with the mower. I filed a claim on 4/7/2020. My husband is 71 and I am 67. He is recovering from cancer so we are housebound because of Covid-19. We could not go to US Cellular. When contacting US Cellular, they would not answer because of overwhelming calls. Assurant would not process my claim if I didn't have the serial number. I had no way of getting it and they refused to help me. We waited 21 days to get a refurbished phone. It was extremely difficult to get the serial number. We are very unhappy with this insurance company. We've been paying them for years. As soon as we can leave the house we are cancelling our US Cellular account and thus stop using Assurant Insurance.

Sent me a replacement phone as part of an insurance policy through Comcast mobile that would not charge. First, I was refused a new device until the original was returned. Second, after speaking with a supervisor they approved a new device without receiving the original. Third, was told for $30 they would deliver the phone on Saturday, expedited they said. It's Monday and I just received confirmation from FedEx that the device was shipped today (Monday) and will arrive tomorrow (Tuesday), That's 5 days without a cellphone that I pay extra every month for. Terrible excuse for an insurance policy.

I didn't get proper information on the steps of getting the phone replacement. I contacted your company numerous times. It took my son contacting you to finally get my phone. When I did receive my phone, I got an ugly black phone where I can hardly even see the home button. I paid for insurance for 2 1/2 years and more than enough paid for my phone and then to get an ugly phone that isn't a true replacement, does not make me happy.

I broke my phone on a social distance ride and was pretty worried that a global pandemic was the worst time to break my phone. Luckily it wasn't, I was able to find a link through T-Mobile and file a claim electronically. I waited a few days for a confirmation and a few days after that a new phone was at my door. Just had to slide my old one in a small sleeve and dropped it in a mail box. The only thing that could have made this better would have been having my info pre populated on the sleeve or at least printed a sticker for me.

I tried multiple times to contact agent but no one seems to be able to help, just transfer between agents. Replacement iPhone 11 overheats, battery drains in matter of hours versus all day in previous phone. Service gets interrupted and phone freezes randomly.

On the 28th it will be a full month since I started this process to get a replacement phone. I still don't have it. Customer service keeps giving me the same answers and I am very unhappy. I was sent a defective order phone as a replacement for the phone that was lost. I called several times to get help returning this phone to the right place and receiving a working replacement phone. After having to call two separate times and spending over FOUR hours on the phone, two hours each time I called, I can honestly say this is the absolute worst service I have ever gotten. The gentleman on the phone who was trying to assist me even said at one point that he “didn’t know.” I had to then wait again for a manager just to process a simple insurance claim for a cracked screen. Highly would not recommend.

I got the replacement phone. They failed to send me a shipping label to return the old phone. Keep in mind the old phone is mine and it is already paid off. I was informed I would be billed for the old phone if I don't return it. I should not be billed for not returning a phone I have already paid for. Plus Assurant did not place a shipping label in the box for me to return the old phone. And why would I pay for shipping on a phone that is damaged.

Claim number **. I called Assurant, they denied my claim. I called in and they needed information from T-Mobile. I called tmobile to get the info and called assurant back. Then assurant needed more information from tmobile so I can to call them and then call assurant back. This happened two more times. All while hold times are long these days. I paid for coverage so my phone should have been covered when I filed my claim. Instead I had to jump through hoops to get the coverage I paid for. Ridiculous.

Took 12 days and sent all paper work from the first day and no one to contact. The only thing that it was fast is when they charge the deductible. In Less than 3 min after that no one contact to verified the day of delivery or when really is going to arrive. All kinds of excuses.

I lost my phone and paid 250$. They sent me a different phone and now have to buy a new phone case when the guy lied to me at T-Mobile and said that any accessories would also be covered by the now increased in price insurance. It seems to only cover screen protectors which my new phone case has built in so all in all bad experience.

After reading review from Assurant from ex customers I decided to keep my original phone (just broken screen) for a week to insurance my replacement phone was adequate. It was not. It was shutting off and not working so I had to use my original phone. Call Assurant. They said to send my original in to get a new replacement phone. So now I’m stuck borrowing a phone because their failure to quality control their refurbished phones which gives a pointless notion of a monthly payment to Assurant.

First of all I never got the phone that I said I was going to get, regardless of what your insurance policy says. Your word is nothing. You gave me a girl's phone and expect me to just deal with it then said you would give me the same phone I had because I had replacement screen saver and case for it and still sent me the wrong phone. If these stupid things didn't cost so much I would definitely be canceling my insurance.

After 14 days we finally received our insurance replacement phone. After calling and checking on the status of the replacement they responded saying my phone was on back order and they didn't know when it would be delivered. The staff was kind but the company as a whole was not helpful. They should have provided a replacement reimbursement or sent me another phone. After the experience my family would like to switch insurance companies.

After contacting Assurant a week & a half later. I was informed my claim was denied. And the messages were going to my disabled phone and not my email. This happens when robots are processing orders & not humans. The reason for disabled phone is the cable cord for phone. I purchased another cord from MetroPCS. And the cord bends because it fits too tight inside phone. My replacement phone is a lower version of phone previously purchased.

I filed a claim for screen damage on my Galaxy Note 10. The claim was approved same day and they actually overnighted me a new phone! I expected to wait several days for any sort of response, let alone shipping. Switching my data over was painless and I had the old phone in the provided envelope as soon as I was done. I Do not have a phone and insurance is being paid since 7/2019 that has not been in usage. Supervisor as well as agent was no help. I feel as though you are not a good source for me. Investigate situation.

My cellphone suddenly stopped to work. I wasn’t able to answer any call. After I filed a claim and filled out those forms, I received my iPhone the next business 2 days. I was so happy that the process went fast and smooth, and I didn’t see myself go to an Apple store to buy a new expensive phone.

How come is possible, I get the replacement phone working worst than my original phone. I returned also and until now I still without phone since Monday 4/20/20, and nobody cares about this matter. I can't believe there is no more phones in that warehouse. Now I understand because the Covid 19 is less people working but this is not an excuse for this delay.

I originally filed a claim and made a mistake on my part not choosing the correct phone that was damaged. I explained that the phone was not available to choose from because it was not listed on the scrolling option and no way you could type the phone Model in. My claim was denied and I had to then call in to get it replaced. They said they were sending the new phone out and they were expediting it. I never received it. When I called again they told me that they were expediting the shipment because they made a mistake and didn’t put the claim fully through. I never received it again.
Then I received two emails saying that a phone would be sent out because the claim was approved. The next email said that another phone would be sent out because they had to re-issue the phone claim. Now I have two phones and I’m unable to send the new phone that I’m not using back because I was not given a big enough return envelope. The only way that I can return the duplicate phone is if I pulled it out of the box and broke the seal. I returned the old phone but have a new phone that needs to be returned and I’m reluctant to get on the phone yet again because I’ve run into so many problems.

I purchased this insurance through my provider, T-Mobile. I lost my phone and it was replaced with an identical mobile phone. It was overnight shipped and worked without any issues. I’m very happy with Assurant’s customer service and would recommend them to anyone.

They were very quick in response regarding the replacement. I allowed a couple of days after packaged was dropped off before switching the old to new phone (needed to observe safe precautions with the package due to corona...). During the switch, I noticed that the hue of the new phone was darker than my old phone. After the transfer was complete, the pictures on my phone were still bad looking. In addition, the phone got hot if you were browsing while charging. The heat still build up if you charge it without using it. I have to contact assistant and return it because this will not work.

Fast at getting phone to us. Process was fast and easy. I would say the way we send it back makes me a little uncomfortable cause it goes USPS, not UPS or FedEx. I would change that so that items don't get lost in the mail.

Well I'm kinda disappointed. I originally bought the Samsung Galaxy s10+ pearl white. And I was sent a Black Samsung Galaxy s10+ but I guess I can't complain because I finally got my replacement phone soon.

I lost my cell phone and promptly reported it to my carrier. Since I had insurances through Assurant, they connected me directly with the Assurant representative, who was efficient, accurate and processed my claim promptly. I had a replacement device within 48 hours, with accurate instructions about activation of the new device. The entire experience was smooth.

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with filing a claim of any kind. Poor communication skills by all but the last representative of yours that I spoke too. They purposely delayed filing my claim, lied to me and failed to pass on critical information during the claims process. Customer service needs complete restructuring.

The service was good. The problem is that my banks have been notifying me that somebody is trying to login to my accounts via my apps in my old device (the one I returned). This is disappointing and not appropriate and above all it is illegal. I might have forgotten to remove some of my apps, how come someone from your company try to break into my bank and other accounts? Total dishonesty! I am following up this wrongdoings!

Submitted my claim four times before getting an approval. Could not have got it approved if it wasn't for T-Mobile team of experts, Tina. Assurant was very rude and unprofessional in helping me through the claim, I was promised a call from couple of supervisors to follow up but it never happened. T-Mobile helped me send documentation (equipment installment plan disclosure and original order) to Assurant but it was not enough by Assurant's standard for proof of purchase. The claim took almost 21 days to process, please revise this system so loyal customers do not have to go through so many hoops and days of hour long conversations! I could understand if someone had made multiple claims or did not provide enough documentation, but, for a customer who filed a claim for the first time AND submitted all required documents from T-Mobile should NOT have to go through this.

My claim kept getting denied saying that my phone was never active. I had to file and refile everyday and talk to so many people to get approved. It was a nightmare and it ended up being a system error on your end. Your team made me feel like I was in the wrong the whole time telling me there was nothing they could do until I got upset and demand to talk to a claims manager. They then said that I was not allowed to speak with them. I had to keep fighting until they finally connected me to someone. Yet every day I had to wait a 24 hour waiting period. It took a week of fighting and a 3 way call with T-Mobile to prove that my phone was always covered.
Once I finally got approved my claim said I was getting a Samsung 9+. I thought i was getting a upgrade because of the nightmare I was going through but that was not the phone I received. It was a very stressful event and I had no control over the issues your system had and I did not like having to spend so much time fighting for the truth trying to prove that my phone always had coverage. I felt it was very unprofessional. I had already lost my job due to the covid 19 virus because restaurants had been shut down and my phone was the only way to make money using a delivery app. I needed a phone right away and all I got was "I'm sorry your phone was never active. There is nothing we can do."
Words cannot describe how upset and scared I have been during these stressful times and all I needed was some help from my insurance that I have always paid for but I had to fight just to get heard and finally get my claim accepted. No one should ever have to go through what I did. Your systems and policies need an update so they do not penalize and deny customers for something that is out of their hands. I did everything right on my end. It was some glitch or system error that was preventing my claim and no one could tell me why it was happening. It should never take someone getting upset to fix and issue. If I had given up I would have a phone today. I am sorry for whomever had to read this rant. I was being honest and you guys emailed me asking for my experience with Assurant.

I bought an android phone in March 2020. I accidentally dropped it before able to buy a case. It cracked and was not functioning correctly. I bought Assurant Insurance. I been paying for insurance for last four years($439). Also paid $50 deductible, returned my old device to them too. T-mobile upgraded me with diff S series and received J7. Very sad. Had to file a claim within Assurant because they didn't use the shipping address provided so they shipped it to another address. The replacement phone that was shipped to the wrong address is missing and stolen. Now I have to wait until their investigation to get a re-replacement phone. Horrible service.

Really really disappointed and unhappy, that I did not get the phone I originally had. I called to return replacement phone. I did not have no choice but to keep this white phone I got! After paying $250 I would think I would have a choice in color. So very not happy. I rate this a 0.

The wrong phone was sent on 4/10. I sent back the wrong phone and had to call to followup. Agent said it was my responsibility to call at the moment I sent the phone so they could manually verify that it was in transit. I was not told this from the beginning and I find it to be absolutely ridiculous with the technology we have at our fingertips.

I was approved of getting a new phone because my insurance covers it. I paid the $99 deductible, but as I was going to go and exchange my phone I lost the device. I was very clumsy and embarrassed. At the same time I asked what can I do in a situation like this and they said I will have to pay full amount for the device! I have 2 phone lines with insurance that where you take $30 dollars from us every month. On top of that I use nothing but Xfinity for my home devices and internet. I made a mistake and I own up to it. But what is this warranty I'm paying or for? It's says cover lost phones as well? If I have to pay full price for this I would like to speak with a manager or somebody that can take care of this situation. If not I will just return this phone, pay off my remainder balances and change my networks for home and mobile.
