    It was one of the worst experience I had in a long long time. They lost my phone in shipping and when I called the warranty people (you folks) I got people who didn’t even care.     When I cracked my screen on an $1000 phone, thank God for insurance. Paid $99 for a replacement phone and ever since I received it, I can't keep signal. Dropped calls all the time. With my other phone I had 4G everywhere in my house. I can barely get 1 bar now. And have more no signal with a circle and line thru it more than I have ever had in all the years I've had a phone. It's ridiculously irritating. Not very happy and can't afford another $99 to get it replaced and still owe on it. Ugh!!

    First call I made. The man was totally rude. I was not able to understand him very well. He said "there is nothing I can do for you". Told me I had to do it online. When I told him I never had to do it online before. He stated like I said "like I said do it online". When I asked to speak to someone else he said do it online and hung up. I pay to have this service. And I don't like to be talked to the way this man talked to me. I had to have a TMobile representative call and help me talk to someone else and they were rude when I told them they had the wrong address. I have changed my address 3 times with this company.     When I received my phone it was not the phone I was told I was going to get. I called to ask what happened. The service rep clearly didn't understand anything I said. Yet the service rep the numbers on the packing slip was not the same as the phone. I had to call T Mobile. Their rep had to call a supervisor to clear up the whole mess. Less than a week later that phone screen went black, while the phone was constantly ringing, I couldn't answer it because the screen didn't work, Now I will be forced to buy a new phone if the T Mobile techs cannot transfer the information from this phone. I paid 30.00 a month for 3 years for this horrible treatment.

    When we originally purchased insurance on our phones, we were told if a replacement was ever needed, the turnaround time was 24-48hrs. Our process took exactly 1 month from the time we 1st submitted our claim to when the phone arrived. We had to submit pictures of our ID numerous times and each time we were told they were not received. ID verification should be allowed to be done in store or over the phone with security questions. This was an awful experience and a very frustrating one.

    Experience was horrible, I put my claim in Sat and it was supposed to come in the next business day only to call back Monday and was told someone forgot to submit my claim so I had to wait until Tuesday to get my phone. After not having a phone since that Thursday. So I had to wait five days before I received my phone. Not to mention after speaking with a supervisor Ms. ** stayed she could not do nothing for me. Like waived something of the fee or give me some of my money back or ship out my item on that Monday. She stated she could not do anything because the claim does not work like that. And I explain to her it was not my fault. It was the rep who submitted my claim. So why should I have to suffer and not have a phone. So this was the worst experience I ever had with a this department. Just A terrible experience. I would give this experience a negative star.     I was pleased with the speed of their response. Unfortunately, after paying 20 dollars a month for 3 years when I called to replace a cracked screen, they took an additional 99 dollars and gave me a used purple device. Not even the same as I had. Instead of having good service and telling me they would need time to replace my actual device with a like device they sent me a purple version without telling me then told me too bad. Not their problem. Waste of money to buy their insurance.

    I filed an insurance claim on 08/09/2020, for a cracked screen. I was offered a phone, that is not comparable to my phone. Then I was offered a phone with less storage than mine. I have a 64gb, not a 32gb phone. My phone is also unlocked and I was told that they don't have my phone in the system. I have a Moto g6 Amazon Edition 64 gb Indigo Blue. I was offered a Moto g7 32gb, not comparable again. I've paid $15 for insurance for over 16 months, I would expect better than this.

    Overall, I am satisfied with the outcome but getting there was a hassle. I started the process online when I filed a claim for my tablet. I was denied and I went on the chat to talk with a representative as to the reason why. During the chat, they continually told me that my tablet was not covered and to contact my carrier. I called T-Mobile and we got on the phone together with the Assurant claims person. The lady didn't really know what she was doing because she asked the same questions over and over. She stated that I would get a text or email in reference to my claim.

    I got a second email denying my claim with the wrong tablet information. I called T-Mobile again and again we called Assurant. The representative this time was able to get all of my information correct and my claim was approved on the spot. I don't remember her name but she was knowledgeable, respectful and pleasant. I really appreciated all that she did to assist me and getting my claim filed and approved in a very short timeframe.

    Well I received a replacement early in July, tried to transfer my service over the phone with Metro PCS. Was unsuccessful because an error message came up. I then took the phone to a Metro PCS location and were unsuccessful there as well because the same error message came up. I then call Assurant, reported the problem while at Metro PCS location and was instructed to send the phone back, so I did. When I received my second replacement phone I had the same problem. I called Metro PCS agent over the phone to transfer my service to the replacement phone and an error message came about again. So once again I was instructed to send the replacement phone back and I did on 8/05/2020. Tracking number is **, My deductible has already been made and I still have not gotten my replacement phone. Other than that I love the option of having my items with the insurance that Assurant offer and would still keep it.

    It took more than 2 hours even after paying my deductible to get resolution to replace my Samsung Tablet. I remembered calling TMobile and Assurant back and forth that day. I have been paying my device insurance for years and also paid my deductible online to get my replacement tablet. After my deductible payment was submitted, Assurant prompted me to call and speak with Assurant representative again.

    I spoke with one so many customer representatives (at least 3). First one said Assurant will not replace my tablet as it was replaced back in 2014. I called TMobile and did a conference call with Assurant. There was a lot of confusion and checking back and forth to find out what is happening. The TMobile expert advocated for me and even needed to a point to ask for the supervisor. There was a back and forth conversation of what is happening again until finally Assurant supervisor indicated that my replacement will be approved and will be successfully processed. After this hassle, I was finally relieved that Assurant was able to overnight send my Samsung tablet replacement that I received the next day.

    I filed my claim on 7/27 and was told that my replacement would be shipped out the next day. After 4 days I called & was told there was no replacement in stock. I did not get a replacement phone until 8/4. The phone that arrived was a refurbished. Every time I used it it powered off or went straight to the camera no matter what button I pushed. I called T-Mobile for assistance and was offered another replacement to arrive on 8/12. (total of 10 days without service) and $5.00 refund for the shipping fee I was charged.     If I could give 0 stars, I would! Worst customer service I ever had in my life. I had my T-Mobile Phone stolen and I had to call this insurance to have it replaced. I’m a 54 years old man and had a black Galaxy phone, they literally sent me an USED PURPLE phone. I asked politely if I could get a new black phone because that’s what I had, they didn’t want to do anything. Even the manager didn’t do anything. They basically told me to deal with it. This is the worst phone insurance company. My whole family has this insurance on our phones and I’ll be removing all of them. They don’t care about their customers at all! I pay monthly for this insurance and paid $150 more to get my phone replaced and this is what I get? For any TMobile customer DO NOT PAY FOR THIS INSURANCE! YOU’RE WASTING YOUR MONEY! Unless you want to receive an used phone. I won’t ever use this phone insurance company again.

She said she would let me speak to her supervisor, but that never happened.     When I told the CSR I had also damaged my charger she said she would include that in the order for replacement. I only got the phone but no means to charge it. :( When I contacted them about it via their website, I never got a response.     Filed the claim on July 27th, still have not replacement. I waited 3 days after filing and asked what was going on and that I didnt receive any shipping info. I got the response of "we apologize but your device is on backorder due to the current emergency". First off why did I have to email you to get told it was delayed. So ok no big deal. I asked about the policy of them sending a newer device if my device is unavailable. What do they do? Yep respond with the same generic answer of my device is on backorder. So I screenshot their policy and send it to them expressing how upset I am at their lack of response... Still waiting for a response again. It's been 2 days since I sent the last email now my phone will not take a charge at all. So yeah great job guys. I have now been dealing with a busted phone for almost 10 days and no response to the situation. This phone is my only means of communication and it is also needed for work.

    I piped in my old sim and phone operated like a champ. A couple days after I received the phone I was prompted that the phone needed to be updated. I plugged the phone in and worked on my laptop until I crashed out. When I awoke in the morning my phone was on update white screen with colorful ring. I showered and got ready for my day. After I ate I went to phone and it was on the T-Mobile screen as if it was restarting. Because I work from home and all my business is thru Zoom I wasn’t in a rush.     I decided to sit and watch what it was doing. After staying back for a bit it started up and an error messaged piped up stating my phone was corrupted or another operating system was installed. I don’t know how to add a alternative operating system and I don’t understand how my phone was corrupted because I used it for a few days and let it sit well over 10 hours during the overnite update. Hating to deal with the issue I let it sit for a couple days on the charge and watched it as it turned on, displayed error, and shut off. So now I writing this review because I got an iPhone gifted and am syncing all my Google stuff to it and saw the rate service email from Assurant. Just set up Google voice so I will be calling assurant to see what is going to be done. It been two weeks I have a had phone issues so I pretty much over T-Mobile leases phones. Whenever I going to pay one off it crashes and becomes freaking useless.. Time to put this iPhone to use.

    Was sent an outrageously hot-pink phone to replace my LG G7 and told that was the best that I was going to get, no matter how who I spoke to. I wasn't given the option to return for a different device or to return and wait until an exact match for my device was available, either option would have been more tolerable. I've been paying almost as much for insurance as I have for device payments for the life of the device. After the deductible, I had paid for my phone TWICE over, too much to just accept a phone that wasn't an exact match. I bought another exact match device online for the same cost as my deductible, which I'm still waiting to be refunded.

    I am VERY upset with the phone that was sent to me. It is bad enough that I paid off my Note 8 and should be allowed to keep it after paying years of insurance AND a deductible, but the icing on the cake is that you sent me a Note phone that is the size of the S10 and not the size of my phone AND I need an SD card (and had an SD card on my phone that was broken) and you send me a phone without an SD card. I was not aware until I took it to the TMobile store the other day to make the data transfer. I need the Note+ sent to me. Why you wouldn't replace a phone with like functions is beyond me. Unless you are just trying to rip people off as seems to be the case with so many online companies these days. HELP, PLEASE! How do I get this non functioning for me phone exchanged for the phone I should have received?

    For some reason when I placed my original order the system kept correcting my shipping address, apparently to the WRONG ONE because about three days after they told me it shipped it told me it was "undeliverable and returning to sender".     I'm so thankful I have insurance. I have not been lucky with my Note 8 and have had it warranty replaced several times. The issues I had with previous phones are stop working in Gear VR, glitchy screen and charging cord easily falls out. The last time was the first time screen cracked in three years. My phone fell out of bike phone holder. I was super excited when I opened up replacement phone for my broken Samsung Galaxy Note 8 64GB and found a Samsung Galaxy Note 10 256GB in the package.

    As soon as I took phone out, I was welcomed with some disappointment. I did not like the hole punch in the screen. I find it distracting. When you go into full screen in apps like YouTube and Disney + the hole punch is distracting. For YouTubers like MKBHD part of the hole punch is seen even when not in full screen. Netflix and Hulu designed app not to go in hole punch area, so kudos to them for that.

    When I went to install new sim card I was disappointing that there was no slot for a MicroSD card. My 256GB MicroSD cards are useless now. At least Note 10 has 256GB memory on board. Note 10 has a lower max resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels vs. Note 8 2960 x 1440 pixels. My Gear VR is useless now since it does not work with Note 10. I used to love using it to watch movies in virtual movie theaters. The apps I purchased on it can't be used too. I need a new phone case.

    With all those cons, I'm still happy with phone upgrade. Amoled screen looks beautiful on Note 10 and looks better side by side with Note 8. The screen to body ration on the phone is really nice and has impressed people that have seen it. I love the wider camera on the phone. I no longer need to step back to fit an object or people in a photo. If you have a kid you'll be thankful to have it too. I know so many people with kids that cracked their phone or their parents phones. Thank you Assurant. I highly recommend getting insurance on your expensive smart phone. If they no longer make your phone, you might get a free upgrade. Or is it downgrade?

What's your customer service people should already know that and they do not do any type of phone replacement. I was not able to get service with my old phone provider because they were of no help when I tried to, but I was able to get service with a new service provider who had much better customer service and service in general. In summary, my new phone was shipped successfully, it was I bit more expensive to make the claim than I would have preferred, but for next today delivery I can't complain. And my old phone was easy to ship back and had very little issues with the phone itself, but I had many issues with the phone service.

    Definitely DO NOT recommend....when my screen damaged the deductible I had to pay to repair it was almost the same as I would have paid at the Apple store without having to pay insurance for 27 months. AND this high deductible more than likely was going to give me a refurbished phone, not even a new one! Very disappointed, ended up repairing the phone on my own. Will not carry this insurance again. Disappointed T-Mobile chooses to work with them.

    The phone was shipped overnight on 7/23.... I was without a phone until 7:40 PM on 7/27. I had to keep calling, UPS kept lying about reason for delay, gave no reason for 2 days, and about location of the phone; and Assurant did nothing. I was sent to T-Mobile to get another phone until they found this one, but would have had to pay over $800, and hope the other phone showed up within 14 days so I could return the new purchase, and then transfer all data again.

    Horrible communication whenever I did get through to a representative because they said they had to go by the UPS tracking system even though a supervisor at the location I was told to go to, to pick up the phone, said the system wasn't giving the proper information. In fact, she said the phone was somewhere in the facility that day, the 27th, and I would have to come back in 1 to 3 days to see if they had located it and brought it to will call.... later that night the truck that left that same facility early that morning, supposedly without my phone, delivered it that night.

    I spoke to several supervisors and NO ONE ever called me back, I had to call each day the phone wasn't delivered, even though the system said it would be delivered the 24th, then the 25th, 26th, and I requested it be pulled so I could pick it up myself on the 26th, because it was weekend I was told I had to wait until Mon, when I went, the tracking app said it was on the truck; but the UPS system said it was pulled and scanned in the facility, and they were going to do a trace which would take the 1 to 3 days....

    I filed a claim on 07/17/2020. As of today 08/01/2020 I still don’t have the replacement device. First they asked me to provide them with the original purchase receipt from a year ago (that’s when I bought the phone) yet they had no problem collecting insurance premium for the whole year that I was paying claiming that I needed proof that I bought the phone. Even after I submitted the receipt I was being asked to wait 24 to 48 hours for my claim to be approved and I waited and every time I called to check they would tell me I have to wait 24 to 48 hours until they finally admitted that they don’t have the phone. I believe this company is a big scam since if that’s how they do business meaning they take the money from the customer for the service and they can’t give them the service. Not having a replacement device is the worst excuse as they should have devices readily available in the event that a customer needs it.

    3. The flimsy cardboard returns envelope is scary...We are being asked to return an expensive phone and be charged if it doesn't show up. I asked lots of clear strapping tape because the sticky-tape closure can be opened without any effort!

    4. Because I am retired USPS, I knew to keep and follow the tracking. I took a screenshot as it was moving. On the expected day of arrival, ALL of the tracking disappeared (see images...if they upload this time). I called Assurant (most folk would have lost the papework), and an agent said, "...Oh, we have it, and we'll send you a confirmation email once the phone has been processed."

    Very stressful return process.
