I called the insurance because my screen broke (Galaxy Note 10 plug 4g). I was told the phone was not in stock so I had the option to purchase a new phone and they would cover the cost. I went to my nearest T-Mobile and was told the new phone was coming out (Samsung Galaxy S20 AND Note 20) and they couldn't order me the phone. They recommended me to call the insurance (Assurant) to explain what is happening. I called again and told them I need my phone ASAP (work related) and if they could arrange to get a different phone and cover the value of my old phone, they agreed so I went back to t-mobile and was told to pay off the old phone and finance the next one.
I was going to purchase it but the employee ask if I'm guaranteed to get the cover cost from assurant, I had no clue, so they contacted assurant with me to ask if they would guarantee them paying the cover cost and they said no. We called about 5 times to ask why they wouldn't guarantee my cost and out of the blue on the 5th call, I was told that they had the in stock and they were sending it on the next business day with the cost of insurance claim ($100). During that time, I went through so much trouble trying to get my replacement phone only to be told they had it in stock. This whole thing lasted 2 weeks. In the end, I got my phone but disappointed in the way things were handled.

I’m very happy with the Assurance service did, everything went through easy and on time. I got my new iPhone in a few days with any delays or problems. I really recommend them to my friends and relatives, keep going.

Assurant has sorry customer service. Took hour just to be hung up on by agent. Could hear chickens in background and English was so poor from customer service. Whole experience was bad. You can’t find any better people to answer phone lines is a damn shame.

After not being able to exchange the phone which was sent to the T-Mobile store I had to call Assurant to replace it. I didn't think that I should be charge $100.00 due to I been paying you monthly for insurance. The specialist was very helpful and she made the process smooth.

Had a hardware issue with my Samsung that couldn't be fixed in store. Submitted claim online (quick and easy!) at 4:00 pm and had a new phone delivered to my house the next day. Very pleased with the service and speed so I was not without a working phone for an extended time. Highly recommend to contact them if you have warranty!

The phone arrived fast. My only concern is the delivery guy left it in the public mail room and it could have been easily stolen. I wish he would of handed to me or in our apartment lockers. Even better would be in my mail box.

I used the online insurance claim. It was fast and easy to understand. I was able to connect with my T-mobile account easily. This is really worth the monthly cost. I called in once before and the rep was really friendly and helpful. The phone came overnight and that allows for me to get back to my activities without delay.

I had the most horrible experience in a claim for my device. Something I pay for every month plus deductible. I waited almost 2 weeks to receive my phone plus customer service was also a hassle been that I was on the line too long, when asked to send a copy of my license I wasn't informed it was the front and back. When I called again then I was informed that they were missing the back of my license when I wasn't asked to send. At that time I wasn't given accurate information as for what type of ID it was needed so it took longer for the process.

Took over 3 weeks to get my phone replaced. Had to call in multiple times to find out what was going on with the replacement. Was told without AN IMEI number on a receipt I was out of luck. Was told someone would call me back but never received a call back from anyone. Eventually a supervisor accepted the information I had and got a phone but it was the wrong color. Completely unimpressed with the service that I've been paying for for over 7 years to cover my phones through TMobile.

Assurant managed the whole process impeccably. We received the replacement phone promptly as promised. I used the USPS label to return the old phone but the post office asked what was in the cardboard envelope that we got from Assurant and when I said it was a phone, the post office refused to accept it saying it needed to be in a box. I contacted Assurant for a new label. They emailed it promptly and I returned the phone no problem. Great job Assurant.

My order went well. My T-mobile account was locked. So I did it over the phone. The lady I talked with was helpful and nice. It took 4 days to get my phone but I had bought a cheap phone to hold me over so I didn't care. The new phone arrived in good condition and works properly. Satisfied customer.

The claim process was one of the easiest I have ever gone through. I just put in my account information, stated what happened to my phone, paid the insurance fee, and my new phone was shipped to me within 3-5 business days as it was stated it would be. So glad that my phone carrier uses this service!

My new phone came very quickly. Mailed returned item in the package received on Sun. 8/9 thru USPS. I have received an email stating that the item has not been returned due to the issues with USPS.

When initially calling I talked to a guy that wasn't helpful at all, I don't remember his name maybe Jorge, or Jesus. It was a Spanish guy. Call disconnected when I attempted to ask questions and he would say "I don't know." I ask for manager and call dropped. It was a horrible experience. I called back and explained to the next rep and she was professional and got me all taken care of in a matter of minutes. l Don't remember her name, but was great and apologetic about my previous situation on call. I would say experience was horrible being this was my 2nd time using your service in a 25 plus years. Please do better with training reps.

When I asked about my replacement phone a week later from when I ordered I was told that my phone is backordered and they cant provide a ETA or even a rough ETA. This is my work phone and still getting charged for my service. For being the second claim in over 5 years I would expect a little my support from ASSURANT like a temp phone or provide me another a available option. Instead I feel like I was told it's not ASSURANT problem and I'LL just have wait till the phone comes in. I went to Tmobile Location to see if they had my phone in stock and they did so I dont understand why it's taking so long to source my phone.

Customers service reps were all awesome! They assured and gave me much confidence on me receiving my stolen phone. They also helped me very well on both times I've called. I received my phone in 24 hours. I just had a slight issue with what the description said (purple Note 9) on the package and what I did receive was (blue note 9). Other than that I wouldve given 5 stars in experience.

My phone was broken. I paid a 143 less deductible than I would have to pay for a new phone and it came in less than 24 hours. I wish the monthly fee covered the deductible instead though but hey what could you do it better than paying a whole price. Good thing I had the money????

I fell and my phone screen broke. It took hours on the phone dealing with the pettiest things. It’s ridiculous that for Assurant it’s so easy to take my money every month for years, but when I made the claim it took hours and hours on the phone and 16 days later, finally a phone. I travel, I need a phone and this company could care less to expedite my claim or at least take one week but not 16 days!! That’s not good customer service! The "approval" department was not diligent or interested in my needs. Would not recommend. Terrible experience. I would give a 0 stars if I could!

I kept getting rerouted to AppleCare. I spoke with TMobile and they helped me get in touch with a live person and the process was seamlessly handled. The Assurant associate was pleasant and processed the claim very quickly. I am fully satisfied with the service I received but I should have been able to complete the claim without involving TMobile.

I had to do the claim on the telephone because on-line claim service would not work for me -- it didn't let me go beyond the final question. At first, the phone contact was automated and I had to listen to two repeats of the message that told me to use the internet. After the second automated suggestion that I make the claim on the internet, the person I finally got to talk with was helpful and friendly, and the experience was straightforward. I received the new phone within two days. Thank you.

The first person was awesome. Told me phone would be overnighted so my husband would have it before he left for work Sunday. This was Thursday. I got email saying it would be delivered Monday. Too late. I called to explain it was supposed to be overnighted. I was on the phone with 4 different people. Was on the phone from 4pm till 11pm. We ended up buying my husband a new phone so he could go to work. This is unacceptable.

My experience wasn't exactly a good one. I had to use a Assurant to replace my phone due to screen damage. I use my phone daily for work and it is very important. I cannot be without my phone ever. Assurant sent me another phone within a very timely manner but the phone that was sent to me was defective and wouldn't even turn on. I called customer service and specifically told them that I needed the shipping label mailed to me because I do not have access to a printer. Instead the shipping label with email to me and I had to go out of my way to go to a FedEx store to get the label printed. 50 pandemic has started I have been working non-stop at the post office and this was a severe inconvenience.

Replacement phone I received wouldn’t connect to WiFi. I took it to a T-Mobile store and they said the network antenna is broken in the inside. I can’t believe you guys would sent a damage phone back to your loyal customers. Very disappointed. I will like another working phone.

This was my first and hopefully last time ever having to use this replacement program. I'll start with what actually went right... Great price for replacement and receiving the phone in a timely manner, THAT'S IT. I could not activate phone as directed within the instructions. I called for help 3 times with no such luck. I went to 4 different stores before someone finally got it right in 2 days! It was exhausting and frustrating.

Made claim 08/02/2020. Told my phone was out of stock, didn't know when would be in. So if wanted to buy one would be reimbursed after return of damaged phone within 10 days. Meanwhile was told shipping label and box would be shipped to me for return of damaged phone. Called after two days and figured out that an email was sent label only. Meantime acquire a new phone, printed label, got envelope and mailed it. Sent picture of receipt. Same day get email saying my replacement phone had shipped. So wait for it to arrive so can turn around send it back. Called week later and try finding if received both phones yet.
Only received one and second one was tracking. Supposed to be there by 21st. No word if arrived and checked into warehouse which was totally your mistake for shipping a phone that was told by 3 different agents was not available.Should be more compensation for all the hassle it was for making a simple claim. Got hung up on twice and neither agent speaking to called me back. Also sent email on tracking help on your site which said agent would contact me within 24hrs and had to call and find out that much about where phones are. Still waiting. Horrible service and hope I never have to use Assurant again.

Corporate Members of T-mobile treated me with such extreme inconsideration, I felt I was being made an example of during my insurance warranty phone replacement process. I paid over $200 for this crap.

I have had issues dealing with Spectrum. Though they offer the insurance they don't know when to refer a new purchase to Assurant. I do have ever found my experience effortless once I talked to an Assurant Claims Adjuster. Thank You!

The entire process from start to finish was quick and painless. The replacement phone was in my possession within 2 or 3 days, including the weekend, of filing my claim. The BIGGEST issue was that the replacement phone was delivered with the screen protector already peeling off of the side of the phone and could not be mended to stay down. Although it might only be a small issue to some, it does matter enough to me to demote one star. I would amend my rating in a heartbeat in exchange for a new screen protector of my choice. The peel back that was occurring on the phone when I received it is attached.

Your process needs to change. I should have been able to go into the Xfinity store, have them check that I had your insurance, then take my phone, give me a new one and they should have sent the phone back to you.

When I arrived home I did not see my order even though it was stated to be delivered, I called T-Mobile but I had to get in contact with Assurant. I just realized that it was been supposed to have been delivered.

I am happy with the experience. The service was great. I was able to received my new phone within two days. The process to file the claim from the start to finish was very short, fast, and convenient. When they delivered they didn't wait for someone to sign for it but they left my delivery hiding in the bushes on my front porch which was nice.

you guys gave me a free upgrade with the new model A21. Thanks a lot!!! I love this new phone. It's way better and for only 50 bucks! But maybe you should cover the tempered glass screen protector I paid 40 bucks for a lifetime warranty....doesn't work with the new one but it's all good.

I called about having problems with my phone and although they sent me another phone...it would have been nice to get an compatible charger...I was not able to charge my phone until the next day at the store...very disappointed.

Usually my experience is wonderful, but this last one it's been 4 days still haven't received my new phone, all I got was an email saying delayed. Been without a phone and it's hard not knowing what's going on. But my money was taken for the deductible, so I am a little frustrated. I have 5 kids who can't get a hold of me, would be nice to know what's going on.

They sent me a phone that does not work, does not receive a charge and the software does not work correctly. The phone was not new, it had too many flaws. In the telephone contracts they never inform that the telephones they replace are refurbished.

And It was quick and smooth with it coming to my doorstep and then getting it active was easy and simple. It was even easy to send back the other phone and not even have to go to the post office which was a time saver. Just sit it in the mailbox that morning and the mail lady was able to grab it and go.

Assurant is a lifesaver, and exceptionally easy to work with. It is more than worth the investment to pay for the added phone protection. I have dropped my phone twice and they replaced it incredibly fast, and even gave me a free upgrade based on available phones. Customer service is beyond excellent...patient people who communicate well in a cheerful, intelligent manner. Who could ask for more?

I hate dealing with computer phone operators. I did not know my pin, and struggled to get it, the computer just kept saying to put it in, the T-mobile person who made me one didn't tell me it wouldn't work for 24 hours. I spent 2 hours and got nowhere. Very frustrating!

My granddaughter's phone was damaged while she was on vacation. I placed a claim for a replacement. Everyone was very helpful and the claim was approved. I received the new phone and once my granddaughter returns, I was have her info transferred to the new phone and return the damaged phone.

So my phone was stolen on a Saturday night around 11 pm in downtown Dallas when I was alone...no bueno. After finally finding my way back to my hotel, which is normally 35 minutes away but magically transformed into a 2 hour drive filled with me crying as I was 100% dependent on my phone's GPS, I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to file a claim (though halfway through the process the site went through a scheduled maintenance, not their fault but still an inconvenience nonetheless). I knew that placing a claim early Sunday morning would probably delay the arrival time of my device, and I ended up receiving it the following Wednesday.
As for the device itself- it was in very good condition like my original was. However, bear with me as I try to explain this next part: I was under the impression that any accessory included in the original purchase that was stolen with the phone in the same incident would also be covered, but after careful reading (of what I consider poor semantics) of the legal certificate, it turns out that a phone case is not "included with the original purchase of the technology including the standard battery (when involved in the technology's loss), standard home charger, and standard SIM card for LTE replacement equipment," even though the phone case could be purchased in the same transaction as "the purchase of the original technology."
Since there was no limiting modifier (i.e. "included with the original purchase of the technology 'only' including the…) with regards to what was included in the insurance of the original purchase of the technology, I was led to believe, and even encouraged by a staff member when originally purchasing the device and insurance, that my understanding of the phone and attached phone case being covered in the event of loss/theft was correct, which was a motivating factor in my original purchase of a higher-end $60 OtterBox case.
That's a bummer, and normally I would accept how I probably misinterpreted the terms and conditions as I've only taken a few Business Law classes as an undergraduate pursuing a degree, but after feeling like the salesperson (it is the same female every time) hits me with fees that I do not think I should owe when reactivating my replacement, I get a little angry. Not specifically at her, as she is doing her job, but at the system in general.
The following frustration is mainly directed at Metro by T-Mobile, and I'm sorry for spelling it out here, but I had to go in-store and pay a total of $42.76 to get my phone back to a sub-par operating state as compared to the operating state it was at just after its original purchase. The $42.76 bill consisted of what I assume to be the charge for the activation of the SIM card dubbed "Feature Change" on the receipt ($22.73) and the cheapest phone case they had ($18.50 after a gracious $1.49 store discount).
Now I know this next part will probably make me look like the worst person ever (if you haven't already come to that conclusion already), but is it wrong of me to think that the store could "throw me a bone" and gift a phone case or waive the SIM fee after years of being a loyal customer and being up-sold with things that the store employees probably knew I had no interest in buying but would nevertheless promote as if it was in my best interest to buy?
I go on this rant to make a point that paying $72 a year to insure my phone ($36 may be a more accurate figure considering the other protection software provided) and not even being entertained with the idea that a cheaper phone case be comped for me is very disheartening, especially since I was not corrected by an employee when I misunderstood the terms of the insurance and what was covered. I am sorry to come off as entitled and insane, but all together the total to get a replacement came to ($200 deductible + $45 insurance payment) $3/month *15 months of insurance on device before filing a claim ($90 if you consider how I was upsold the security), and $42.76 for having to get a new sim activated and an uncovered case, not to mention lost service time of $8.80 brings the total paid in money equaling $296.56 (or $341.56).
I could get a "refurbished-like new" version online for around $319, and it would come with a case and charger and screen protector. I get that I chose to get service from Metro and by default, Assurant, but does loyalty mean nothing anymore? I have been in a restaurant manager position before, and that job taught me that sometimes it is okay to give those who spend their time and money with your company some light of day with regards to a dispute on pricing, even if it was their fault that they (in this case) let their phone get stolen (or rather the fault of a bad character preying on someone).
I doubt that y'all even care that I wrote this out, and you'll probably tell me to take it up with my carrier, but as a partner with my carrier I just thought I should include this story in the review. As an insurance company, y'all were awesome and very fast, and I am very appreciative of that fact. I just wish Metro was more forthcoming at explaining terms and open to correcting misunderstandings. Thank you for reading this. As you can probably guess, I just lost my job due to COVID-19 putting my employer out of business and have too much free time on my hands.

I have received my replacement Samsung Galaxy S8 plus. What I received was an unlock version of the Samsung Galaxy S8 plus which was suppose to be a T-mobile Samsung Galaxy S8 plus. Not to mention I was unable to hold the package for pick. The phone was on backorder and waited in time to receive the phone. Now I'm unable to contact customer service to let them know what happen to receive the correct phone.

We received a defective replacement phone from Assurant. I called and after 1/2 hour got cut off with no call back. I called again, and after much discussion was told Assurant would not replace the defective phone and that I'd have to do a warranty claim with TMobile. An hour later, I finally got through to TMobile and they will send a replacement. Assurant should have sent a good phone, or replaced their faulty phone. This is terrible customer service.

It was difficult to get to a person to file the claim. She said we'd get a confirmation it was approved. That didn't happen. I kept checking website for changes and there was no changes. No communication. I finally had to go through T-mobile to get them to get me someone with Assurant to actually give me some information. They were waiting for payment - no one ever told me they needed $99 - Not a good experience.

There was a misunderstanding to begin with about repairing instead of replacing the phone. It was handled professionally and in a timely manner. The only problem I had and was unable to do was the factory reset. I had to manually uninstall my apps. Some personal information is still on this phone. I'm not happy about that.

After placing my device claim on 8/11/20 I was told I’d receive my device by 8/13/20. On 8/14/20 I contacted UPS and they said the package had arrived in Brownsville and would probably be out for delivery soon. I contacted them again on 8/18/20 and they said they have no record of the package after it got scanned into Brownsville. UPS lost my device and said I should contact Assurant to get help. I contacted Assurant on 8/19/20 and was placed on hold while they talked to UPS. As I was on hold Assurant hung up on me and never attempted to call me back. It has been almost 10 days since I made my claim and I still don’t have my device. This has been a horrible experience and I wouldn’t recommend T-Mobile, UPS, or Assurant to anyone. Avoid these companies like the plague.

Phone's battery went bad/heated/swelled up. Online claim process quick/efficient. Promise of immediate shipment of replacement. Several days pass, no shipment. Can't call, wait times crazy. Found a customer service message portal, sent message, told my device was on back order, no known date to expect shipment. Angry email back, and suddenly replacement phone is shipped. Paying $13/month for Assurant if phone breaks/lost/stolen/etc. Would have immediate replacement. Did not happen. In future, would seek this insurance elsewhere, at worst, pay less for similar poor service!

If I could give 0 stars I would've. Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Wasted 3 hours at a T-Mobile location because I was instructed to carry out replacement there after my phone wasn't in stock, that didn't work because the associate at Assurant says it was in stock until I went to pay the deductible and lo and behold out of stock, had to pay 300 out of pocket for a temporary phone (which defeats the purpose of insurance) and didn't leave the T-Mobile location till 9:15 pm. Then it went back in stock the next day, tried paying again and out of stock, then back in stock and out again, had to get the manager of my local T-Mobile location involved which she did a great job navigating through the countless people over at assurant who did nothing but blow smoke where the sun don't shine.
On the Fourth try and a week and a half later I finally got to pay the deductible and get a new phone. Cancelling my insurance before the next bill and saving the 40+ we spend a month to avoid this issue ever again. Not even an apology from the company. One of the most unprofessional and worst experiences I've dealt with in a good while.

I wish I could this was a good experience, but sadly it was not so. The first replacement was not a T-Mobile network phone. But in order to get the right replacement I was told repeatedly that the company policy required me to send the first replacement back before I had the right replacement phone. Without being able to transfer my data from the old phone to the new phone, I would have lost everything. Thankfully someone came to their senses and sent me the right phone. Thank you for that. Being able to keep and simply transfer my data from one phone to the next made this whole experience a little less painful.

Samsung Galaxy 7 Edge had fallen which cracked the screen and rendered it useless for operation. Called the technician for assistance and he tried extremely hard but was unsuccessful in a remedy. I have had terrible service from you guys. My sons phone was damaged. I filed insurance claim. They sent me one phone. It was something to do with the serial number on the phone. So they decided to send me another replacement phone and iPhone was defective saying that it was activated. Only issue is I wish they would give you maybe 15 days to return old device because with everything going on with online learning and work I haven't had a chance to go through my old tablet and delete what I need to. I've dealt with Assurant many times over the years with phone and renters insurance and have never had an issue. I don't mind paying the ridiculously high premiums and deductibles b/c service is usually so fast and replacements are overnighted right away; however, I am currently on the 2nd day of waiting for a claim to ship that has been approved and the deductible has already been charged from my checking account. I get why the service costs so much; phones are expensive and so is overnight shipping, but with these high rates, prompt service is expected.
Now I am without a phone and sitting on my hands. Customer service is zero help and has no idea when my replacement phone will ship. This service is not worth the money when the insurance company doesn't ship as promised. I understand that there is a pandemic right now, but when the claim was processed over the phone, and I should have been notified of a possible delay instead of being assured that the phone would ship out overnight and I should receive the next day. Furious right now, and will be telling everyone who will listen to drop this service. Not worth the money.

Although, come to find out (after we had already received the replacement phone) that the damage phone was not at all damaged.

My experience was ok, I just thought I was asked a lot. Because I used insurance a long time ago and it was very simple. I just had to enter the site to fill everything and then everything was resolved and I received another phone that had been stolen at the time. And this time I did the same process, I entered the site, filled everything in and waited, it had been a month and I had not received anything or the device and no email, so I went to the site again and there was a message saying that I would have to call the insurance company, then I called and I passed all the information that I had already passed online and thought that everything was already resolved, so I was told that I should send a copy of a valid document from my state by mail, fax or email. It was only after I did all this that I got the phone. After all this the device arrived very quickly. I just found a lot of bureaucracy but it must be part of their system, right?

I had my phone stolen and was able to get a claim started and approved within hours. With COVID-19, shipping took a little bit longer than the overnight. I had my claim approved by 6 pm on a Saturday, and received my phone by the end of the day on Tuesday.

I believe I receive my phone in record time and it was in good condition and I'm satisfied. The only thing that I would improve upon is that each phone should come with a pin to remove the Sim card. A week after filing the claim, I finally reached out and contacted Assurant by email/website. 8 days ago, I got an email confirmation that my claim was approved for overnight shipping, I would receive an email with tracking info, and the replacement fee of $99 was charged. Another week went by and I called the "in-person" helpline for Visible customers with Assurant. The representative could not give me any information about when I could expect a new phone. I continue to wait in limbo for resolution. I understand things moving slower than normal in these trying times, and am continuing to pray for patience and understanding, but the lack of communication is frustrating and increasingly unacceptable. This is harming my ability to communicate during important personal matters. I hope they get things figured out soon!

If refurbished I don’t feel it was fair that I had to pay $99 co-pay on a refurbished phone. Shipping was fast, but there is where positive ends. I was sent a phone that within one hour of activation, the display screen melted to black rendering the phone useless. To make matters worse, my data was on it. Completely unacceptable after the money paid to have insurance, to have it cause more aggravation than the cracked screen. You should not be allowed to send refurbished out of warranty phones. I know it's out of warranty because I called Samsung. They were more help than you were.

It took a week to have you communicate with Xfinity and get approval. Most ridiculous time frame to make this happen. You claim it takes 24-48 hours to get approval which is a complete lie. Mine literally took a week!

Once I realized I had insurance, it was relatively inexpensive to replace. I filled out the forms on-line and nothing happened after 4 days. I had to call to place my replacement order. The customer service was not exactly the greatest. I had to keep repeating the same information from one person to the next. Overall, not the greatest experience with customer service. Once they finally got the order right over the phone (after not processing from on-line application), the new phone did ship quickly. I would give 2.5 stars but they do not allow that, only whole numbers.

I called on a Friday afternoon, your team agreed to have me a phone by Saturday. I agreed to the $30 extra charge and confirmed it would be Saturday delivery. I did not get a phone until Tuesday afternoon. Your policy reads next business day. I will be disputing any charges on my credit card as you did not do what your policy states you will do. Not only that but no communication that I would not get it on Saturday. This is a business account and the phone is my lifeline. I am very disappointed. Wish I had another choice for a carrier as I would dump your company.

After 4 days I received my replacement phone. It lasted a whole 3 days before I had to send it back and wait for another replacement. It sucks because I have to wait longer because you won't send it until you receive this one back which is ridiculous???? I pay for insurance for a replacement that works not to wait longer and hope the 2nd one last longer than, 3 days.

The automated system was super easy! However I received an upgraded phone. I had the LG Aristo and was sent the LG K 20. Upon receiving the new device it did not come with a new charger (old charger is NOT compatible). I did not receive a booklet how to use the additional features (I had to Youtube multiple videos). It has a key to open to place the SIM card. IT DID NOT come with the KEY to open SIM card slot!! I called to inform Assurant, I was told they could only send a charger and did NOT. That was on August 5th, My initial claim was August 3rd 2020.
When I called on Aug 12th to inform Assurant I had not received the charger, I was told I could not be. Thankfully T-mobile who has exceptional customer service (I have been with them 17 YEARS!) gave me a credit to my bill so I could purchase a charger! Assurant has provided me a great inconvenience and now I have to run around to get a new charger and have T-Mobile open the SIM slot with a key to get my replacement phone set up!! What an inconvenience! I feel Assurant had the worst empathy to my issue and poor customer service. My phone number is **.

I received an replacement phone that had a bad serial number. As a result could not connect with the metro server. I ended up going with my upgrade and now have a new phone. I have sent back the replacement phone, and was told that I should be reimbursed 200$ within 7/10 business days.

Although I was pleased with how quickly my replacement phone arrived, I was disappointed that Assurant did not have record of my enrollment in the Jump Program. I wanted a newer model phone of my choosing but the representative refused. I even had a T-Mobile rep on the phone with me to verify my enrollment and was still denied having a new phone sent. This was a frustrating process. The representative should have made an exception.

I submitted a claim for my phone because the screen was cracked. The replacement phone I received is a different model and shuts off randomly throughout the day. When the phone comes back on I either receive a message stating invalid battery or my battery life has been reduced by 25%.

I dropped my phone on its screen side and it cracked so I needed a replacement. The replacement phone came within two days. My only concern is for companies to direct the carrier to make sure the package is not left for someone else to retrieve. Ring the bell to let the person know that their package has arrived. Most people are expecting packages and are at home. This will prevent theft of packages in vestibule buildings.

When starting the phone we could not get it to go past the code part. So I took it to Metro PCS for better assistance. Once I was helped they could not add the phone to my account because the phone was still on some else’s account. So I literally call to speak with someone and they said the phone was defective and had to send both the phone I was returning and the replacement phone back. I was upset because now I have no phone and still don’t know when I’m receiving another replacement phone. And I’m still waiting.

I paid the deductible to get a replacement phone which was sent to me on Saturday. The phone was faulty and kept throwing a moisture detected code and won't charge, even wireless charging wont stay above 50%. Assurant told me I have to pay an additional deductible to replace the phone they sent me. So I am actually quite upset and think that' trash.

I have been a Metro T-Mobile customer for many many years. About 6 or 7 years ago I made a claim and you guys billed me $300 (back then) even though I returned my broken device. A couple years ago I made a claim for a cracked screen. You again stated I did not return my device and charged me again. I ended up thankfully taking pictures and a video of myself returning that return at the Post Office. Then you reversed the fee. Again I now had to make another claim which you sent me an S10E. It is consistently hot and does not hold a charge. I took pictures and video of me putting the return in the box at the Post Office. I'm concerned that you will try and charge me another $200. This company is ridiculous and criminal. I hope to never have to make that claim again. The only reason for 2 stars is because of the upgrade. However the S10e sucks.

I appreciate receiving my new phone 24 hours after my claim was processed and approved however this is a new phone must be a refurbished one and defective because it's slow. It lags and it doesn't acknowledge half the time that I'm touching the screen.

The replacement phone sent to me was pink and the phone I broke was black. I called and they said they couldn’t do anything about it and they said I should buy a phone cover. I think it’s very wrong I didn’t get the same phone after paying insurance for years and a deductible. I would not have gotten insurance if I knew I wasn’t going to get the same phone. Definitely canceling my insurance and telling everyone else going through Assurant to do the same.

This is the second time I've had to replace my phone. This time I don't think I should have had to pay the deductible as the lens on the back side camera was broken from when I received the phone as a replacement. I didn't think to check it out when I first received it as I don't take pictures that often. AS with the first replacement I had to chase this phone down to get it from FEDEX as for some reason both times they had trouble delivering the phone to my apartment complex where they deliver packages daily. I had to travel 10 miles each way to the package center and retrieve my phone from the freight center.

For starters I was told the phone was arriving next day to which UPS confirmed but then changed it to the next day. UNACCEPTABLE! YOU BOTH PROMISED NEXT DAY!!! 2 days later UPS confirmed delivery but the phone was nowhere to be found.
I called you and complained immediately after not receiving the phone and the only answer I got is that an investigation was open and it will take about 15 days. THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE. I called you because I need a functional phone NOW!!! NOT IN 15 DAYS!!!
As a customer that has paid for over 4 yrs for your service and paid for deductible immediately, I find your method of dealing with this terribly archaic. You have already deactivated that lost phone. That phone is now paper weight and it shouldn’t be my fault that you and UPS lost it. It took multiple attempts to resolve this matter. Had called multiple times and completed the online form. In addition there was no follow-up at any step of the process. I had to keep calling to make sure the process was in motion. I was Never told that the phone was not in stock and would have to wait possibly weeks for it! If I had not called, when would have someone inform me the phone is in stock and they needed my approval to run my card? Eventually, a representative reached put to me. But, after several days of back and forth, that too was neglected. You need to improve your website and follow through with requests. Thank you.

All the representatives were very nice and knowledgeable when I called. The processing times were fast, and I got my device next day. They make it very easy to send your old device back as well. When I submitted my claim I selected and paid for expedited service. It took almost two weeks to get my phone. I needed it for work and home as I have no home phone. The website to check your claim was outdated and super unhelpful. Had I not called to speak with a representative, they would have most likely not found the internal order issue and would never have escalated. Even after escalation it took forever. This was not quick at all.

Part currently $45 on Amazon. $99 deductible to have it repaired. Okay I will pay that upcharge for labor so I don't have to do it. Repair is not what I got, after 2 weeks of no answer from them, they finally sent me another tablet, with a bad battery. Call up Assurant and they tell me, they have nothing to do with it. I have to start another return through Tmobile. Who I conveniently cant get a hold of after my working hours... :( Sticking to 3rd party repair sources from here on out. Cheaper and I don't get screwed with someone else defective return the RMA guys decided as good enough.

Galaxy S9 destroyed, replacement was quick and easy. Only beef is 10 days is not enough time to return damaged device for those of us who couldn't access the phone screen in any way to retrieve data. Research and programs that could retrieve data take time. Generally experience with Assurant has been good, of course if I get charged for a late arriving damaged device, I'll be more than a little upset.

I never received an email with the shipping label to return the broken phone, I just was sent on an insurance claim from my previous phone. So I still cannot return this phone in order for my new phone to get sent to me. I am very unhappy with the way this whole issue is happening. When swimming with my grandsons on 7/30 I realized that my phone was in the water with me. When contacting T-mobile I was informed that I had insured my phone. I've got a replacement phone before and they always send a charger. When you send it to the address you want ** I had to send a photocopy of my ID to get the phone. In the past I never had to do that and with my new phone I did. With the phone said put my ID on there, act like it clicking. It took the picture and it didn't. Assurant representatives knowingly and wilfully attempt to change claimants original claim statements. Assurant failure to comply with NYS Insurance laws And claim procedures.

I did everything online which was pretty easy till I got to submit! Then it just kept spinning and never said if accepted, approved, or anything. I finally closed it out and went to my email. My approval was there!

I used to didn’t have trust in insurance companies, but Assurant always comes through. The best part I love about them is my product always comes quickly. The monthly bill is not expensive. 90 percent of the time your items are replaced at no cost, of course if the damage is your fault there is a copay, which is reasonable, so I insure all my items and my family’s items.

After being on hold and going back and forth with the agent for several minutes, I asked to speak to the manager. The practice of sending back a replacement that was paid for before filing a new claim.

Horrible attitude on my 1st call. Sent me the wrong phone. They did nothing to help as I escalated my call. As if they were all next to each other and knew who I was. I waited 10 days to finally get my phone. This is not the time to be phoneless. Horrible!!!

& With In 24 hrs I was back in business because of the support of Assurant. They were fast. Wasn’t hard finding my phone info (IMEI) and the rep I spoke with listened very well. I had issues with the auto messages and it wasn’t a issue for her to do them for me.

I paid my $50 deductible and was sent another phone instead of the phone I was replacing. I'm extremely unhappy with this phone, it's smaller and just not what I was expecting. I should have been notified that they were sending a different phone.

Not the first phone I've had to replace but they always do a fantastic job, as well as provide amazing customer service. Thrilled as always! Hopefully I won't be replacing this one but if it comes to that I'm thankful for Assurant.

I have been with T-Mobile for at least 13 years and have used your services on more than one or two occasions. However, unfortunately this particular time, I was very dissatisfied with the customer service I received. It took at least 30 minutes on the phone the 1st time I try to replace my damaged phone only for customer service to say I had to get approval from T-Mobile before I could complete my claim. Even though I explain to them that I had already spoken with a T-Mobile rep and was actually calling from the t-mobile location. Once I went through the process and got approval from T-Mobile Again, this time online. I contacted your company, Again, this time it took at least 3 different transfers and sitting on the phone for at least 1 HOUR before I could get actual The assistance I needed. I have NEVER BEEN SO FRUSTRATED, ANGRY and UPSET when having to replace my phone. I pray I will never have to use your services again.

My overall experiences with getting one of my phones replace was easy. The staff made replacing my damage phone with a better phone simple. He was pleasant and understanding. He explain that after I made the request of replacement I had to pay my deductible and the next day my phone will be shipped to me. Which that indeed happen. So I'm very please with that. 5 star.

This iPhone I received from the company keeps glitching and running hot no matter if I’m in an cold house or outside the phone runs hot. The previous phone that I sent in is having the same problems as this phone.

Updated on 08/15/2020: Still havnt got a call back. ** that's the number you can reach me at. They havnt been able to use the phone because they don't have a charger and at this point as soon as I get a chance I'll change companies.
Original: I got another phone and it was an upgrade and didn't receive the charger and everything else and when I called they didn't help just said the system was down and hung up. What kind of help is that and it's been a while and no call back.

I was first sent to an Apple store to get my screen changed. I believed it was going to be 30 dollars under Apple care. I waited 2 weeks. I got there and was told it was 169 dollars. I left and had to wait for it to be shipped. It was sent to the wrong address. I had to call in and correct that mistake you all made. It took another 2 weeks to remedy that. I was on hold on the phone each time about an hour and a half. AWFUL EXPERIENCE.

Trying to make a claim online was a total frustration and end up having to get T-Mobile to assist me. Once connected to Assurant it went very smooth. Received the replacement phone the next day. Shipped the damaged phone back in the container provided. All is well.
