    It was horrible. We were out of town and needed the phone shipped to a different address other than the billing address. Because of that it, it took them 5 days to approve. The reason for the insurance policy was the promise of the replacement phone within 24 hours, well that did not happen. After the approval I was told the phone would ship with overnight delivery. So I waited, NOTHING. Called back and was once again told, phone is in the mail. Guess what? NOTHING. I was finally told that the phone was out of stock due to COVID-19. They had no idea when it would ship.

    I understand the problem with Covid-19 had I’d been told up front but that was not the case. So to expedite my phone, I bought a new phone. As I was walking out of the store with my new phone, I received a text from Assurance telling me my phone had shipped. Great timing. With all the hassle plus having to pay the $175.00 we got you fee, not a pleasant experience. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Roll the dice, take a chance. Worst that will happen, you have to buy a new phone.

    By far one of the absolute worst customer service experiences I've ever had. After being told on a Tuesday night that my order would be processed and shipped the next day and I would receive it Thursday I was told day after day that it would be the next day. Then I received an email saying the order was delayed with no explanation or estimate of when I would receive it. Every call or live chat I was told the same thing. "We don't know when it will ship or where it is." I finally received the replacement a week after ordering it. That is NOT "next business day shipping" that you advertise and say you will provide. You need to do better. I may very well leave Spectrum mobile as soon as I can because of your terrible service.

    Customer service lied to me and supervisor hung up in my face rather than telling me he would have the employee investigated. They seem to not care about customer experience. On top of that when they emailed out the device they had no idea what the IMEI was and forced me to get it from TMobile instead of calling on their own. Overall worst experience I could have imagined.

    I called and placed the claim on a Saturday. I was told my phone would be shipping on the following Tuesday and it would be overnighted. When that did NOT happen I called and was THEN told I should NOT have been given a date it would be shipped because they don't know. It was all blamed on COVID. I so so tired of COVID being blamed for lack of better planning and companies hiding behind this. I have ordered plenty of things coming from all over the USA and never had to wait as long. So somehow those companies got it right. And I never had to follow up on those companies because they delivered what they promised, but with ASSurant I had to take time out of my schedule, which is working from home on MY phone and computer.

    Waiting for 3 weeks for Assurant, Xfinity mobile's insurance company, to send a replacement phone but the phone is on backorder. Assurant told me that there are over 40 people waiting for this phone (Samsung 9). And some have been waiting for 3 months. We pay for this insurance every month and then when we need it, it is useless. I have tried to contact Xfinity customer service department, but they just leave you on hold for hours and hang up. Terrible customer service. No, Not terrible, nonexistent customer service.

    Assurant is aware that their website allows its customers to input PO BOX addresses and they are fully aware that their mail carrier, FedEx can not deliver to USPS Post Office Boxes. Instead of fixing the problem, they knowingly allow customers to continue to use PO Box addresses which results in delivery delays. They would rather blame and delay the customer rather than fix their own system. Pathetic!

    I placed my claim 2 weeks ago and claim was approved. I paid the deductible and I was told that the order may take longer due to Covid. Assuming that was the case I was expecting maybe a few days delay. However I get an email stating that I was not forgotten and that as soon as it was shipped I would get an email. I waited a couple more days and nothing. So I emailed them back and they responded saying the reason it hasn't been shipped is because the phone is on backorder... What???? Are you kidding me. I pay monthly for this insurance and a deductible just for them to say that I will get my device when they have it. Why dont you have in stock???? This is totally unacceptable. No timeframe at all on when to expect. I have never been treated this way for a service like this. Something needs to be done!

    I filed my claim on 082320. The phones were on backorder so did not get my replacement till 083120. It was Rose Gold. While I understand we can't request a color, I was told by numerous supervisors that they try their best to get a color close to my original device (Space Gray). This is my son's phone. Rose Gold was not acceptable. I called and spoke with a supervisor and she sent me a shipping label to send it back and in the meantime told me it appeared they still had some iPhone 8's in stock so would request another be shipped out that day or the next day. It is now 090220, I called this a.m. because I haven't received a shipping notification from 083120 yet.

    I am told the phones are on backorder. I've paid a lot of $$ for this insurance over the years (we are a family of 4) and this is the first time I've needed to use it. What a disappointment this has been. While the supervisor's have (for the most part) been good, the customer service part of this insurance is terrible. If I wasn't paying an add'l $175 on top of the monthly insurance fee I pay, then I could understand that we don't have a choice in phone color. But when you pay this astronomical amount of money for insurance and then the deductible on top of it, you should have some say in the color of your phone.

    I signed up with Assurant phone insurance through T-Mobile. I paid $13/mo for a few years. My son damaged the phone and didn't file a claim. He just bought a new phone. I tried to process the claim for a replacement and it was rejected because by the time that I got around to filing it, more than 3 months had passed since the loss. To upgrade to a new phone, newer model, my bill was the same. So, why bother with paying for insurance to replace the old phone? Plus lost time of hours spent processing the claim and on hold. It is much easier to just get a new phone. Perhaps this insurance would be useful for more expensive phones or someone that loses or breaks the phone more frequently. I have canceled my policy.

    Horrible experience. Placed my claim on a Sunday, received an order number immediately. Paid $249 as well. On Wednesday when I called they told me that I didn't put in a claim. I indicated that I had the claim number and had paid. She couldn't find the claim number. She did some research and finally found it. Then she told me that it could take up to 2 weeks for the replacement. This account is a 5 line business account and I told her that I couldn't wait that long and there was no response other than it could be up to 2 weeks. There was no response, no additional help. I did received the phone but had no clue it was coming. Horrible experience with Assurant.

    Dear T-Mobile Assurance Insurance company,

    I'm greatly upset???? By what was given to me. My phone crack went black and ineffective that's why I send in claims to get a new one. If not, just fix my phone and returned to me. It would be fine. However thinking I was gonna get the same phone I paid for $280 an A20. I received a $250 A21. I asked the t-mobile employee what was the difference. He said there weren't much difference... Once I transferred everything over I'm highly upset. It doesn't function the way A20 does with my gaming system. Transfer partially my game. And above all, it lags worst than A20.

    I was expecting A20 so I can use the same case and I have to pay $20 more dollars for the A20 case. I brought an A20 screen protector for this new phone but I got A21 instead. Please excuse me if this message seems nasty, but adjusting to a new phone which A21 has an extra useless black 0.50cm on the bottom of the screen doesn't help at all. It just makes it more difficult to put into my pocket! I usually put my phone in my purse but this phone doesn't fit into my purse. For an extra $49, $20 case, and need to find new pants, new phone screen, return old phone screen, and new purse to fit this phone is greatly upsetting me.

    I would also give a negative review if able. I have been paying a $30 per month insurance bill to Assurant by way of Tmobile for more than a year on my Samsung10 note plus. I qualified for a replacement due to damage and paid the deductible. It has been 32 days since they have taken my deductible and I have been told they will not send me a new phone because they don't have any in stock, neither will they refund any of the monies I have paid them. They cannot estimate how long I will have to wait as they are no longer making these phones. It could be a year or four years, they don't know.

    I attempted to file my claim on the claim website. The claim wizard insisted that I turn on the Find my iPhone feature for the lost iPhone. Keep in mind that the phone got lost on a boat ride and is sitting at the bottom of a 300 foot deep lake in Northern Utah. It was literally impossible to turn this feature on, in addition this was the very reason I was making the claim for a lost device. I called customer service and they were very helpful and got me on my way in a short amount of time. I am very satisfied with the experience I had with the customer service representative. The website needs a lot of work, I am dissatisfied with it.

    Lost the phone on a Sunday and had to go online to file a claim. Also had to call in. No phone number is listed on the site so had to call Tmobile number. Was on hold for 2 hours. I could only get so far online and it made me fill in default addresses or the information wouldn't be complete. I couldn't change this without going through another program that I was transferred to once I got through my phone company. Never spoke with anyone from the claims company. I did receive my phone on Tuesday. Not giving a good review for having to pull my hair out with this and taking up 3 hours of my Sunday.

    The replacement device received does not work. Is still not working.. Call and spoke with someone who transferred me to Apple support without first notifying me, then was on the phone with Apple support for over two hours doing troubleshooting only to still need another replacement device which has not be sent out yet.. I pay insurance every month. Still paid the deductible of over $240.00 and still do not have a working replacement device.. Ohhhh on top of all that now apple wants a deposit of $1095.00 before they can even start processing their replacement..     The process of getting assurance to send me replacement cell phone was horrendous and lasted about 7 hours from beginning to end. I had to go through 4 different representatives Assurant representatives in order to get the claim submitted online. Then to submit the deductible payment was another headache and the website kept giving me errors. I had to wait a long period of time in order to get an Assurant representative on the phone to make the payment and come to find out the payment went through even though the website was saying that an error had occurred. Also I was not informed that I was going to get a "refurbished/certified" phone either. It would have been nice to know that beforehand. I did receive the phone finally but the entire process was not pleasant at all. Not something I look forward to if I had to do it all over again.

    Making my claim was easier than I expected and receiving my replacement phone next day was a great surprise that it actually came when promised. However it was on inside the sealed box. I took it to local store and they opened it and set it up- transferred everything from damaged phone. The problem is the replacement phone J7 Star. I was told by rep it was an upgrade due to my J7 Prime no longer available. This phone is not an upgrade... The camera is terrible and the screen is difficult -not sensitive to touch at all. Also the upon watching videos they are often distorted and do not play properly. The other problem, was no charging cable is included, so I have to use a cord that is over 2 years old and hope it lasts as long as this phone. Disappointed for sure. They're difficult to get started with a claims process, more difficult to track, yet more difficult to reach a claims person who can talk with you intelligibly and clearly, and heaven forbid any little thing isn't to their satisfaction. So for 3 days I had no service. I called claim back and they told me I simply had to wait for my replacement device. If I would have known that my SIM card was going to be deactivated, I would have made arrangements or contacted claim at a different time. I was having a difficult time getting my family to switch to Visible but after they found me with no service and couldn't call me, which they tried, I doubt any of them will join my Party Pay group. That means I will have to keep paying a higher monthly bill. The current bill is high enough to switch to my family's cell phone provider and help them save money on their cell phone provider plan. Party Pay is awesome, ONLY if people join it.

    Overall the process of filing claim and getting approved was easy quick and very friendly! The issue arised when went to get screen fixed at CPR cell phone repair, where they recommended me to go. First they had to order my screen. Took 5 days. They said they call when it was in, never did so called them and turns out it came in but didn't tell me (fine, no big deal). Took phone in. Took about 2 hours to fix. Picked it up. Noticed when got home back glass of my S10+ was bit loose on phone. Pushed it together and was fine.. Put phone on charger and hour later went to pick it up and whole phone came apart.

    The back glass fell off apart from the screen. The battery came out and the wireless charging pad inside phone wasn't even screwed back into place, put phone back together called cpr right away. Got response next day saying take it back to them so that's I'm doing now. But to say I'm a little pissed they took a working phone with a little hairline crack in screen and turned into pieces in my hand I'm not happy at all. Hopefully they can fix their mistake. I guess the glue they used melted when phone heated up while charging!

    At first, it was hard going through the online authenticating process. Assurant's system could not verify my passcode. The phone number provided did not have an option to talk to an operator either, it just kept telling me to go through the online option. Do I called my cell phone provider and my provider then linked me with one of Assurant's operator. The operator was able to verify my account and sent me a link to complete the claim online. Afterwards it went smooth and my claim was approved after one business day. I also received my replacement phone the following day. Overall I was satisfied.

    Placed call on Sunday & reported my phone damaged and requested a replacement. Paid deductible yet package sat in New Castle, DE FedEx location. I had to call back looking for package and inform them that I hadn't yet received my replacement phone, for them to track it and place the blame on FedEx, FedEx states that since I am not a customer of their that the issue was with Assurant. I was xferred several times and on extended holds with no recourse for the this incredible mess up. Not happy at all with how each rep refused to take responsibility and make things right with me, the customer.

    I even requested a call back from someone in the corporate office and was never xferred. Lousy service from beginning to end. Requesting a full refund of deductible due to the hours I had to spend following up on what your employees said they would do, SEND ME MY REPLACEMENT CARD. I didn't at all expect to have to chase down my own order...

    Updated on 09/03/2020: If I could give 0 stars I would... Placed claim 8/19/20, claim approved, still no phone and no word on when the warehouse can expect my model of phone to be in and the customer service agent I've been speaking to is kind but totally useless, no movement on any kind of credit or alternate recourse... I was told the device (Note 10+) is no longer available and that I had to buy a new device and submit claim for reimbursement... What a big mistake this was. If you find yourself in this situation, do yourself a favor and bring your damaged device to the cell phone store, pay the deductible, and upgrade on the spot. The phone that needs to replace it is a Note 5 and they sent me a Galaxy 7 which is smaller than the Note and because I have vision problems that was the reason why I bought a Note because the screen is bigger.     It is a total waste of money. The person processing our claim told us we would be receiving a S10 128 gig so we ordered a non refundable case to fit it. However, when the replacement arrived it was not what was mentioned in the phone conversation by the claim representative. DO NOT tell your customers one thing and deliver something else. The phone case cost $50 bucks and is of no use to us now!!! All because of the lack of communication by your claim representative. Please let me know how you would like to reimburse me for this case.

    Furthermore, after speaking with a supervisor (employee #**) he offered NO assistance whatsoever other than the opportunity for us to file a complaint via snail mail. I found this to be unacceptable. My hope is that you improve your process because of experiences like ours. I would not want anyone else to have the headaches we have experienced because of this situation. All because we were told one thing and received something different! Please acknowledge my concerns!

    Original replacement had extra apps, possible malware installed be thief. But sim card supplied by Assurant was defective (per T-Mobile tech) so had to use existing sim, and so unable to clear as much as I wanted. Must do another visit to T-Mobile to try to clear more off. Still wary of installing sensitive ID, due to possible contamination by malware. Only 50% satisfied with Assurant.

    It was, in one word, awful. I just opened a T-Mobile account with a new $700 5G OnePlus phone. I lost my phone on a Friday, went to the store where I opened the account and bought the phone, and they were no help. I had to go to another store only to find out I had to fill out a claim online, which I did. Then Assurant wouldn't process my $149 deductible without mailing me something to fill out. I went to yet another T-Mobile store, and they did it online at the store. I work in the gig economy business, and I need a smartphone with a camera, and the store gave me a 1990s flip phone as a loaner. I didn't get the replacement (refurbished at that!) phone until Tuesday, 4 days after losing it. What is the point of having insurance on my phone if I can't get an immediate replacement? I lost out on 3 days of work, and spent a whole day çt no being jerked off by Assurant and T-Mobile. I want a BRAND NEW PHONE!!!

    It took almost 3 weeks for me to get my replacement phone, because even after trying to do everything online and then needing to talk to 2 representatives the claim was NOT fully processed, even after being assured it was. Two weeks later I was told my payment was not approved (apparently a quick click of a button). I was then told by 3 different representatives that they were "sorry" but could not offer any discount. I was paying the same amount for a phone other people received in 2 days but I only got a "sorry". A multi billion dollar company and I get a sorry.

    I live alone and two weeks without a phone is not just an inconvenience, it's dangerous, and this was due to improper management by your staff. The most they did was put me on hold for US Cellular and never even explained to them the issue. It was a flat out horrible customer service experience. Not only do I feel cheated by the price I paid for the phone, I was also still paying for insurance through y'all for a phone I DIDN'T HAVE. Especially in times like this when y'all almost force people to do things online by themselves. You should be 110% sure your staff is handling issues correctly not leaving people hanging for WEEKS.
