I was sent a defective phone that didn’t charge and died soon after I received it. I had to then go to a T-Mobile store, have them Place an order for a warranty phone and wait an additional two days for that.

SIM card reader stopped working. Received replacement phone several days because of Labor Day holiday and weekend. Happy with service. Everyone was helpful and service was great. Will recommend the company if asked.

I submitted my claim online and the process was very easy and simple. I received updates regarding my claim in a timely manner via email. My replacement device arrived 2 days after my claim was approved despite the current pandemic.

Fast quick service. When my husband's phone needed to be replaced I filed a claim and paid my fee. Quickly received a replacement. He was up and running within a day and returning the old phone was just as easy.

When I received the device the plastic around it was not secure so the device slid out and cracked the screen. I still have tried to use the device but the more I push on the screen the more the screen shatters.

When dealing with insurance, I typically have a hard time. Usually with the process of claiming damages an such. Assurant has nothing remotely close to a "hard time" when it comes to claiming damages or losses to your device. If you can read and follow simple instructions, these guys are the best out there... hands down.

The only problem I have is that for the duration of the waiting process for my new insured phone to cube in the mail, I was left without any phone at all. I feel like I should have had a loaner phone in the process.. Other than that is great..

I give Assurant a 5 stars because I used assurant a couple of times. The phone insurance is worth getting and having for when your phone does break or get damaged. They have good service and fast delivery, the online claim was simple and easy to use..Thank You.

I like the experience with this company but if I need I would like more up to date information on time with my schedule in an e-mail. If there are more people whom or who would agree I appreciate the opportunity to work with the new ideas which allow better customer powerful.

My wife phone was damaged and we call to report it and the rep that took the call was very helpful and made it very easy for us to obtain our replacement phone. We are very happy and thankful with Assurant.

Horrible insurance. Takes forever for loaner phone and to have repair done. Would never have purchased T-Mobile insurance if I knew this is how a claim would go. And costs a fortune compared to others. Will buy phones elsewhere for now on.

I did not receive my phone until 10 days later. Yet I was told it would be the next business day. My phone is for work so I lost a weeks worth of pay due to Assurant's lack of speed of service. It makes no sense why the Xfinity company could not have given me a phone from their own stock from their store where I originally bought the phone at and sent the bad one to assurant themselves. Huge waste of time. Highly unrecommended!!!!

I have paid for this insurance on a Samsung S8+ since the phone was bought in June of 2017. I have paid $12 a month for 3.5 years and never filed a claim. My phone finally has a mechanical failure so I filed a claim. Assurant emails me and tells me they can't give me a temporary phone because they are out of stock, and will let me know if and when they get something. So much for 24 hours and they would get me a temporary phone to use so I can send mine in to be fixed. This is a scam!! They just take the money and when you file a claim, they tell you they don't have a replacement. In the meantime the customer gets pissed off because they don't have a phone so they are forced to spend another $1000 on a new phone because they can't wait any longer. Terrible. I wish Samsung would dump this company and use somebody that will actually fulfill their promise to customers.

I left my phone and came back it was gone. I looked and asked questions for about 3 to 4 days to try and find it but didn't. Went online to Assurant to place a claim. Gave all info asked and submitted. Received email claim was received and processing. Another email claim was approved. 4 to 5 days later I received a new phone. Process from Assurant was very detailed, understandable, quick and correct. Would recommend Assurant to anyone.

The service was good however I didn’t get a charger with the phone I through that was included. Since I had to pay for the insurance on the phone I through everything was including in the box it was just the phone and nothing else.

Received my replacement phone that is supposed to be water resistant and not even a moth after having my phone it gets barely gets splashed and stops working. If the phone is supposed to be water resistant then you guys should of replaced it and not made me do another claim on it because you guys had a card in the box saying it was tested and worked on all functions. Well it wasn't sealed correctly and got water damage.. Sounds like you guys didn't test the water resistant function.

A rep that assisted with the claim and said a $99.00 deductible was due. After processing the claim, I was told to wait 24 to 48 hours for approval. About 4 days passed, I called and had to do it all over again.

I received a refurbished device that was sub-par at best. I don't believe that it is fair for me to receive a refurbished phone after paying a monthly fee for insurance and THEN on top of that a $40.00 deductible.

This has been the worst experience ever trying to get a phone. The Deductible was paid for almost two weeks ago. You sent an empty box to Fedex with no phone in the box. The box was never delivered to me. Fedex stated they email and contact y'all and no response. I needed my phone ever since I filed my claim. You guys are very different and it reflects poorly on your behalf.

Overall good however the instructions didn't account for phone not being able to dial *611. Had to use another phone to call in and activate new phone. Customer service was excellent and was able to activate it really quick.

Received a replacement G8 in about 4 days and it works so far. The online chat worked ok. One star minus is because the T Mobile dealer was telling me that I did not have insurance, so maybe there needs to be better communication.

Very prompt, fair, reasonable, and understanding. It was my first claim in over 25 years, and the agent representative put me at ease, as I was understandably upset. I have paid premiums for years, and I was considering dropping the insurance, as I never made a claim before, but they were there when I needed them. Very satisfied and pleased with my decision to keep the insurance coverage.

I really appreciate the service we receive with Assurant. I work at a company that serve youth and at there at times we deal with crises. Assurant said physical damage, they charged $540.00 x2 phones, $1150.00, small claims court was necessary to resolve and get refund from TMobile and UPS partners. My phones cost $399.00 on Amazon, no reason to charge $540.00 or zero.

I received my phone the day after the Labor Day Holiday and when I received it I was very happy until my service kept cutting out while I was on calls and then the line would automatically cut off on me. I then tried to use the internet which took enormously long to load. Each time took about 3 minutes to load a page and then my Hotspot doesn't work very well either. This is very inconvenient as my children depend on my Hotspot to attend online classes due to the pandemic going on right now. When I send text messages they fail every time and I receive messages very late. It's like this phone has a mind of its own.
I don't understand why Assurant would send me a defective device. I then went to MetroPCS to get help and the woman says this phone may have been a refurbished phone that was sent to me. WHHYY in the world would the insurance company send me a refurbished phone instead of a brand new one? I am very disappointed!! I called the insurance company back again when I got home from MetroPCS and I was told a shipping label would be sent to me and the soonest I could get a replacement phone is Tuesday. Whyyyy so long when this is not even my fault in the first place. This is such a waste of time and the service is poor.

The replacement phone I received was defective. When George handled my complaint he was very attentive and handled issuing me a return label promptly. I've just downloaded the label today so we shall see how I rate my overall experience when it is complete.

The phone I was sent won't stay connected to my mobile network. I've been through my service provider, Samsung, and took the phone uBreakiFix and they couldn't resolve the issue. I am now supposed to call Samsung back.... I just want a phone that works.

My replacement phone was at my door extremely fast. When I opened the box everything I needed was there, charger, cable, SIM card and the pin to help remove my SIM card. The only snag was the SIM card pin that was sent was a generic type. You can guess that it didn't work so thankfully I used one from my original phone. The new phone looked brand new and setup was very easy. If your phone has a way to transfer your info I would suggest using it. I still had all my info in my apps, only needed to login and it was the same as my broken phone. I have never had a bad experience with Assurant and will continue to use them on everything I can as a warranty. Great service and fast shipping.

Lost my phone so I paid $50 to get a letter from delivered to me overnight. But it said I did not get it overnight. The FedEx driver said that they drop it off but they never did so I may need to wait over the holiday weekend without a phone which of the following Tuesday I got I got my first phone which they could not activate because that the other phone was on its way to show me the week without service tow. Service is terrible but the guy was on the phone was really good.

Rep was wonderful. I was able to get the most respectable answer and the best service as I am explained what happened to my phone. Because of the pandemic I couldn’t get an appointment that was suitable for my essential schedule to get my phone fixed so I paid to get a replacement.

Now I have the new phone and the SIM card isn't working and I can't get anyone to answer me on what to do about it. I Received a replacement for my damaged phone and the replacement phone did not work. I went into Tmobile to transfer my info from the old phone to the new one. After all of my info was transferred to the replacement phone, the bottom half of the screen turned white.

I put in my claim August 31st. Had to call multiple times in order to receive help on September 4th that claimed they didn't get my ID so I sent it to them three times. The next day they said they still didn't get my ID then I called back later and they somehow found my ID magically. They really made me want to consider changing phone companies because of the way they handled this claim. Let me know that I no longer have to pay for insurance because I will be played with for two weeks until I receive my device and I might just switch phone companies.

I paid $30 extra for Saturday shipping, the phone came the following Wednesday. When I called for a refund, it took 2 weeks to get my money back. A company should always make good on a promise, not take 2 weeks to refund a payment.

Upon filing my claim for physical damage (cracked screen and weak battery), my claim was approved right away and the new device was shipped overnight. Also, the customer service experience was great because the representative were readily available and assisted me promptly.

Unfortunately my phone got a cracked screen. I used the Tmobile app to do my claim with Assurant. It was very easy and fast to fill out the form. I got an email stating my claimed would review. Then I got email confirmation saying my new phone was on the way. Honestly was amazing about how fast and easy the service was.

This would normally be a 5 star review, Because usually when I replace a phone through Assurant Wireless,I get a brand new phone in the original box with the book and charger. I understand that sometimes they send you a refurbished phone, And therefore you might not get a new device, But I figured I'd at least get a charger with the phone. I had to call back and have them send me a charger in the mail. One thing I can say is they are very quick about shipping. And oddly enough I received the phone the very next day with a full charge despite the fact that they didn't mail it with a charger.

Terrible experience. Took forever to receive replacement service. Was suspended by the time I got my device. Delivery was suppose to be expedited and took 2 weeks. Next time will not use any insurance. It only weighs more burden along with the cost.

The customer service try so hard to help me to get my cellphone active. We try three times but it did not help so he told me that he was sorry, to go to a Metro PCS store so they can help me and so they did help me to get my cellphone on.

The process was fairly simple. My order was received by them on August 29th, approved on September 2 and I received my order on September 3. If my phone had been unusable, I probably would have been irritated with the length of time it took, but it was still usable so I was okay with it.

Not too good. It took almost a week to get my replacement phones and bills for about $180 each. Then because we were robbed and lost everything including our new phones it was like they did not care. No money, no phone. They did not offer any help for them or Spectrum to help cover the cost or add it to my account. The agent even had to get a supervisor to help and she was great. It still took almost two weeks to get new phones and then they were both red when they said I would get the same Black and White. Sorry I can’t give you a better rating.

I have been without a phone for a week. The claim was approved on 9/3. It is now 9/12 and I still have not received my replacement phone. I never missed a payment and payments have never been late. This is my first claim and at this point I would never have insurance through your company again and would never recommend.

I tried twice but couldn't file online. I filed by phone. It took at least 6 phone calls over several days 2 file the claim. There was 1 male rep that was quite rude. The reps kept sending links 2 finish the claim that never arrived. The system kept saying that it didn't recognize my information. When my phone arrived, I got an upgrade but no charging cord. This phone upgrade requires a type c cord!

Everything was great with customer service phone was delivered promptly and in excellent condition. Only problem when replacing an unlocked phone to Sprint you must send it with a new SIM card or it can not be activated by the customer and it is very inconvenient to go into a store With all the Pandemic restrictions.

One of my (2) LG5 Stylo Cell phones could not get connected to the cell phone network and my MetroPCS agent informed me that I would need a replacement phone through Assurant Insurance. I'm glad that I have Assurant included with my monthly cell phone payment. My LG5 Stylo replacement cell phone arrived the next day and an Assurant agent helped me set up my phone. She was great and got my replacement phone up and running in no time, even saving my time as well as money. I got total "peace of mind" after my Assurant Agent finished setting up my replacement phone. If you are reading my comment don't be unwise; let the Assurant Agent help you set up your replacement phone and save yourself a lot of uncomfortable mental pain. I'm happy with the way my replacement phone is performing - thanks to the righteous professional experience of the Assurant Agent, who was very "user friendly, kind and knew what she was doing".

I called to get my replacement phone activated and I was told that the phone could not be activated and I was to get a prepaid envelope to send the phone back and they'll send me another one. It's been a week and I haven't received anything from Assurant. I paid my bill and can't use my service.

My request was accepted by Assurant, and just need to pay for the deductible $99, and after this they can be send the new phone to me. I trying to pay the deductible many times for 7 days and Assurant system never take my payment. In the 7 days, I talking with many representatives from Assurant, and with the supervisor...and he's tell me, he's will call me back in two days maximum...for resolve the payment problem...but never call me. I was actually with no phone for a week. And finally I can pay with my check account online. After trying many times. Bad customer service...I talking with approx 8 different guys, and nobody resolved the problem, include the supervisor that tell me to call me back...and didn't. Boris **

After I received the device, the first 24 hours were good, after it, the screen of the new device started behaving strangely so I putted in contact with T-Mobile to report this hardware problem, they ask me to do some routine check but the screen was still functioning really badly, and just 24 after it, the screen went all greenish with some horizontal lines not allowing me to do anything with the new device. Still waiting for the replacement...
Luckily, I did not returned the old device so I can still migrate and use it. So I contacted Assurant for they to be aware of the whole situation, and hoping for a delay of the 10 days deadline for me to return the old device. They thank me for the recap and told me that they will add a "memo" into this case, but they "can not assure me I won't be charged for returning the device after the deadline" nor to email me a confirmation of a delay of 10 more days (this is what I was asking for while talking with an Assurant representative over a phone talk) for me to return the old device due to this unfortunate situation.
This is why I decided to rate this so low on the Assurant company service, for not acknowledging the fact that problems can emerge on refurbished devices, and for having a lack of understand of the situation a good payer client is having. I have paid for this Assurant on my device from day one. Now, almost three years has passed from it without needing it even contact once, so I expect to be understanded as well as the Assurant company expect for me to keep paying for this service on all devices we own in the family. Really disappointed with your company policy.

Went to T-Mobile store for my cell, he did claim, got new cell next day. 2 weeks later took granddaughter to store, but was told had to call number, we didn't understand reason, go home & call thinking resolved, then had to complete more information. We pay 7 and 9 dollars each month. Why different process?

The customer service agent was friendly and funny which would make the consumer felt rest assured or at ease. That would be one of the great factor as this service that what could consumer expected. I filed a claim and cancelled it within 2 hours. Everything the representatives said would not happen did! They said the shipment was cancelled, it wasn’t. They said my refund was issued, it wasn’t. They said everything would be complete within the week, I’m still waiting for my refund.

Was pretty fast and easy to do. I am not really a fan of automated systems but had little trouble going through it. Hardest part was reading the manufacture numbers off of the box... so small... but that's not your fault.

When my phone began dropping calls randomly, I reported it to my service provider. Finally, on the third report after an inspection, it was determined that my phone had some minor water damage. This was completely covered and after paying the appropriate deductible, I have a replacement phone.

Well since I still never got my cell from over a week ago it's really bad service. I use my cell for work. It it's costing me a lot of money, for the amount of money you guys get off insurance you should be able to overnight the cell for 10 dollars.

Hi, Dealing with Assurant was incredibly frustrating. I filed my claim, waited a week, then went on chat to get a response. All good. I filed my credit card info. Was told deductible was $69. Then received a note that it was $99. Tried calling. Couldn't get through. Site was timing out. Called T-Mobile. Was on the phone for an hour to get this resolved.

Phones were shipped out with ground shipping when they told me all phones get shipped out next day air. I had to wait a week for my phone to arrive. After I filed the claim I called 2 days later for updates because nothing was getting processed and they told me it did not go through because they need more info. Thank God I called or they never would have called me or shipped my phone. Not happy at all with the service.

I accidentally broke my screen to my S10. After paying the $100 deductible, they sent me a "replacement" phone. That was also broken. When I contacted Assurant, they told me that they needed me to print up a return label that they would send to me via email. After I sent the new broken phone back, they would then send me another replacement phone. It took them 24 hours to email me the return label. I found this to be unacceptable. I felt as if I was being punished for them sending me a broken phone. This was going to be more time that I ended up not having a functional phone. Why did I pay $15 per month per line so that they would send me a used broken phone? $45 a month wasted. I ultimately left the carrier (T-Mobile) due to this issue.

Assurant does not stand by their word. You promised next day delivery and it arrived three days later. In which I was not available to receive delivery. To top that off UPS held the package for two days before leaving it at one of their drop off locations. Then you guys left a slip in which I can send my damage phone but it's via USPS. With all of this how am I to get this to you within 10 days.

1- When signing up with Xfinity mobile they sell the insurance with unlimited* screen replacements. Unfortunately it is not available in FL, no authorized stores within 500 miles. So I had to get a full phone replacement, which is 3x the price of a screen repair. This goes against my 2 per 12 month full replacement. My phone worked fine, it was just a cracked screen.
2- I received my phone, it was the wrong color. When I originally got the phone from Xfinity I paid a little more to get them all black. They shipped a white phone. I kept the phone, but not happy, that they would ship not the same phone as original. I did a webchat, to figure out what my options were and was told it is what it is, and will ship what they have in stock.
3- When calling in for support on my case, customer service was rude when I questioned why there was no local repair center. They only answer was read your insurance policy.
4- Why offer screen replacements as part of the insurance if it is not available in Florida. I could understand because of Covid, I had to wait to get a screen repair, but that was not the case.

I spent 4 days on the phone with these incompetent people. It wasn't until I spoke with a supervisor before learning the truth and got my claim approved. The claim processor who denied my insurance claim is a piece of garbage! Falsely listed information for denying my claim, when I asked for proof and had T-Mobile on the other line listening, Assurant could not provide me or T-Mobile with any clear evidence. Rather that their claims processor do very thorough checks but could not say where they got their information from. Bunch of dishonest low lives over there.

Was told by the store, T-Mobile CS & your insurance rep, that I would have my new phone the next day which would been Tues.... I didn't get my phone until LATE on Wed. Store closed at 6 so I was without my phone do 4 days (Sun, Mon, Tues & Wed).. I need my phone for the hotspot for my business & for GPS for my 2 part time jobs (travel is slow so I need to work at other positions but still keep up with travel news, clients & classes).. The phone wasn't slightly damaged. It was destroyed. The glass cover, screen looks like it was shot with birdshot..
After receiving the new phone the store myself and a friend that is an IT specialist for the government tried to move photos, contacts, apps etc over to the new phone.. I was able after 3 days to get most of the photos onto the computer... Only 40 of 300 contacts moved... The ones that didn't move were clients... SO GLAD I KEEP PAPERFILES Stilll!!!. The 1st rep refused to help since I didn't remember the pin & hung up on me.. The 2nd I called T-Mobile CS first then conferenced called your rep... He apologized & verified with SS3, address, names on the acct, etc, so he got that right but the delivery date is wrong.

Initial request was not authorized stating phone was not covered and needed to be validated that insurance coverage was valid at time of damage. Had to contact Assurant multiple times to get issue resolved. 2nd Assurant representative kept on insisting I was using a iPhone instead of my Samsung phone. I contacted my phone carrier and they contacted a 3rd Assurant representative that was very helpful in getting the damage phone approved and processed. Problem solved...

I was sent a broken phone then was told I have to send back the broken phone you sent me before I would be sent a new one again and be phoneless another couple of days for your mistake. That is a horrible policy especially when it was your mistake sending a broken phone. Then I wasn't compensated in any kind of way for the hassle I'm having to endure. It wouldn't have cost anything for your company to upgrade my phone. But now I'm going to be trying to find a way to get my phone insured thru someone else or just cancel it period especially since I'm just paying for a refurbished phone anyway. I can get those cheap without a warranty online. 1 unhappy customer here!

I’m very dissatisfied with the service that is provided with a premium price that they charge on a monthly just to have insurance coverage on the iPhone. I received a refurbished phone which I am still paying payments on the phone that I had previously. I was told that it would be a new one. They replaced even the accessories with aftermarket ones not Apple.

The reason I rated You 4 out of 5 stars, is that if a consumer is paying T-Mobile insurance for the phone, why the deductible? If a person is paying twenty-five dollars a month, and say the person goes three years before needing it, they could have bought a brand new phone versus a reconditioned one.
Raymond - Paying the monthly premium ensures you stay enrolled with the coverage. Similar to other coverages, a deductible would be required to fulfill a claim. My phone had a cracked screen. I had a note 9. They replaced it with a note 10 which is much smaller than a note 9. They should have replaced it with either a note 9 or a note 10 plus to be comparable. Very dissatisfied.

It was effortless. One phone call. 15 minutes later my claim is completed. 5 minutes later the approval email pops up. 3 days later I have my replacement phone. It couldn't have been easier. I would recommend this insurance. It is a refurbished phone but it works perfectly fine.

I experienced a cracked face and back while hiking in Colorado. A very timely turnaround on the replacement. The only shortcoming was not having a key to replace the Sim card. Because of the lack of a key had to make my way yo the nearest T-Mobile store.

I placed my dad's order on July 10th, paid it online and I had to call back on July 23rd to find out why I hadnt received it yet! They said it wasnt "approved" yet?? Like really!!! Then I placed my order end of July and didn't receive it until August 30th! Your automated service asks us to do it online and it will be FASTER yet we waited MONTHS to get our phoneS! I am very DISSATISFIED with your service. On top, the rep was not even apologetic and she was being rude about it and transferred me to the automated service again!!! I damaged a Galaxy 8S+ on a Thursday. The next Monday I received a new phone in the mail. It was a Galaxy 9. Although it was a newer model it has a much smaller screen. Instead of notifying me that my 8S+ was not available they just sent a smaller phone. Now I am still waiting for a comparable phone to be sent almost 2 weeks. NO PHONE.

I do not like this phone. This isn't a replacement. What you sent was refurbished and it still acts like a broken phone. I receive notifications late or not at all. No email notifications until 2 days later. I receive notifications again for things I've already checked. The phone lags or moves slowly in between apps. This phone sucks.

The iPhone X replacement sent does not work. The phone gets hot very quickly leading to a danger of fire. The phone seems refurbished since the touch screen does not work properly. The pressure transducers are inoperable. Sometimes it recognizes the touch and sometimes doesn't. Definitely will not recommend Assurant or T-Mobile to anyone.

I ordered my phone on Sunday and was promised by Assurant employee I would have it before 12pm Tuesday. Didn't receive it till 7pm. Wednesday. I called and supervisor told me too bad and told me to call up. The supervisor also told me his employee wouldn't do that. I told him the conversation was recorded and to please review it and he said it didn't matter because he wouldn't do anything about it anyway. When I spoke to us they told me it was never shipped for next day delivery. I had a very important phone conference I needed my phone for on Tuesday evening and it was very difficult to get it changed to another number. For the amount of money I pay for insurance and the copay I expect better customer service.

I waited to call until Wednesday, when I was on hold for 45 minutes, after which I was hung up on. Already frustrated, I waited another 2 days to call back. At that point, I was told that they didn't know when the phone was going to ship due to a backorder?? I asked for a manager call back, it's been 3 days since then. Still no phone and no call. Filed the claim online waiting about 4 days for it to process and when the status had not changed I called in at that point. They told me I was missing information, phone color and memory size. Replacement device was shipped to incorrect address. Now I have to wait up to 14 days for replacement, I am supposed to get my deductible refunded and now I have been advised that I have to wait till the tracer is processed.

This was the most frustrating process I've ever experienced, and I've used your insurance before. I think it had most to do with disabling the iPhone from my Apple account. The insurance company did their part. MetroPCS charged me to switch my line to the new phone and that is ridiculous to charge for putting my line to a phone from insurance that has been prepaid so I have no choice but to pay when I'm already paying for insurance.

My Samsung Galaxy S7 had a swollen battery. I called Assurant, and spoke to Marla, and she was excellent. She said the phone would be shipped on Monday, August 31, and it was. I was told I would be told by EMail when it had arrived. Unfortunately, this was not done, and although the phone arrived on Thursday, I was not able to pick it up from the UPS depot until late that day. The new phone is just fine. I have mailed the defective Galaxy 7 back to you. I do not think it is Marla's fault that I was not notified of the phone's arrival. My son's phone started getting dots and colored lines on the screen so I called T-Mobile and they informed me of two ways I can file my claim which was over the phone or online which would be quicker since I'll be putting all the info they needed. It was quick and easy. I paid my deductible of $99 dollars and received confirmation immediately. Received my replacement within 2 or 3 business days.

The replacement phone also doesn't work as well as my other phone and I was unable to simply get the screen fixed on my other phone because they said there were no repair places nearby, but Best Buy is Samsung certified. My problem with Assurant is that I call to make a claim, give all my info on automated line, then it forwards me to customer service. I give all my info all over again. Then they tell me to do it online with photo I.D....So I completed that then the online service tell me to call customer service to complete my claim and give all my info all over again to complete my claim. The worst part is after doing all that ** Assurant ask.. tells me its take 3 to 5 business days to review and get my phone... That's ridiculous ... Change back how it was or quit your service from TMobile.

My phone fell into the water, I contacted Tmobile account and paid my fee of $50, I received my phone 2 days later. I actually received a better phone than I had before. Therefore I was very pleased. I placed my order on a Friday evening and I got my phone on Tuesday morning.

They sent me a broken phone. Then when I called they gave me the run around and wouldn't even help me after I paid 249.00. I was very dissatisfied. This was the worse experience ever. This has been by far the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I can't receive my phone and when I did receive my phone it came 3 days later when it was suppose to be overnight delivery, I was sent a broken phone, and it took a week for the phone to get to the location of the warehouse. It's been over 2 weeks with me not having a phone and from this and how horrible the customer service is I'm switching my phone service from TMobile to AT&T because the insurance the company have is better at providing great customer service and the insurance for at&t wants to help the customers they service. I've never had a problem with Assurant as an insurance provider.

On August 22, my claim was processed; I was approved and sent a Samsung S10e, on August 27, 2020. On August 28 after several calls to you all I was hung up on, after being told that since I paid my deductible that I was still under warranty, I am unable to receive text message from iPhones and several messages are delayed, after taking to 3 Authorized Dealers I was told that they can't help me. Please send me a new phone so I can receive texts from my son and grand children, here is the receipt of visit to one Authorized dealer, and was even told that they ordered me a new phone only to be called on my husband phone after my network was down and I had no service to turn off my phone for 7 minutes and turn it back on; it's unbelievable that anyone has to go through such as this when I paid a $200.00 dollars deductible. Please ASAP me another Samsung S10e phone thanks.

I waited almost a month for my replacement and was without a phone. Upon finally getting the phone I got the wrong one. The order showed a Note 10+ was shipped but a older model the S10+ was sent instead. It has been a hassle and now I am supposed to send this back and wait again. This is the second time I have filed a claim and had to send the handset I received back because of software and hardware issues... This phone is crackling the back on the body of the phone... It also is full of glitches ... The display flicks and freezes... It's not very responsive to touch input... I frequently have to tap repeatedly to get a response.

Why is the phones preactivated to another account that Metro can't do nothing to help with no password from that other person.

It shows my replacement phone was delivered 4 days after I paid the $50 but I never received a phone. UPS Saturday it was delivered to a customer woman but I (the one who paid for the replacement,) never received it. The replacement phone came quickly, but unfortunately, as I found out AFTER I returned the damaged phone (as requested to do as quickly as possible on the return paperwork), is blacklisted (shouldn't someone else have figured that out before sending) and we're stuck without a phone for up to 2 weeks. When I filed the claim, I was informed that the phone would ship overnight. It was a Thursday evening. It did not arrive the next day so I assumed it would arrive the next business perhaps. Emails were received saying the shipment was delayed. I finally had to call only to be told the phone was on back order. The time to receive the phone was unacceptable!

The whole claim process was smooth. I had damaged my screen and called my phone company and they sent me over to Assurant and once they sent the link and filled out the information they needed and paid my deductible, my replacement was sent out and received the next day. Even the return process for the damaged phone was simple.

I have been waiting for a response from Assurant for over a week. Nothing. The status of my claim is "in process" and has been this way since the moment I filed it eight days ago. I sent an email request for an update. Nothing. Service is horrid. I'll update this when and if my new phone ever arrives. In the meantime, I'll use an old Samsung that has none of my contacts in it and will barely support texting. Thanks for nothing, US Cellular. Their service is probably even worse than Assurant's.

The customer service agent was very knowledgeable and explained everything to me. Very patient with me as the phone my granddaughter was using was her dads and of course it didn't match. She explained that I needed to obtain the last time her phone was working and I could get the info from T-Mobile my carrier. Once I had the info the agent that the phone was insured and a replacement was sent immediately. My grand-daughter was very happy. Thank you for your help.

Terrible experience. Do not bother to get insurance, it's a ripoff. You don't get a new phone but a refurbished one that in my case didn't work. Never again will I get the insurance. It's over a week and I still don't have a phone that works. I will be contacting them tomorrow to see what they offer but really don't want another "fixed" broken phone. Totally disgusted!

My son broke his phone which is insured. I contacted Assurant and the process went well. Then it shipped and FedEx delivered it to the wrong address. When contacted Fed Ex was no help. Their driver went home and had no idea where he took the phone. Second call to assurant. Was told in the end that you would send another phone But were out of stock. Was told that you would contact me the next day. Never happened. The follow through and customer service was beyond disappointing and makes me wonder why I pay for five phones to have insurance when you have no idea if the product ever made it. Thankfully The next day a kind neighbor a mile away had found the fed ex box and brought it to us. Not that your company knew.

The claim process took much longer than I anticipated. I never had a phone fail before so I do not know if my experience was typical. I took my 8-month old phone to my service provider. They replaced the card and the phone continued to malfunction. I thought that this alone would move things along... I have AFib (irregular heart rate) so having a phone that continually failed to make/receive calls for almost 3 weeks was scary.

My experience when getting my replacement phone left a lot to be desired. I put in my claim and it took Assurant 2 full days to kick in the replacement process --- Mind you I had to call them several times for this to happen. Instead of the next day shipping, my replacement phone took a week to arrive. When calling to see what the delay was, the last customer service person was very rude, and totally unhelpful!! Very unfortunate given the rate we pay for insurance!

Assurant has confirm that they have received the broken phone that I sent in but has still charged me for not receiving the device. Today Assurant called Tmobile to confirm they have received the device but both companies say they are unable to remove the charge and I must wait for 1-2 billing cycles....I understand the company has made a mistake in communication but it is unacceptable to wait 1-2 months for a bill to be waived from my account.

My phone suffered damages to the screen and the back from dropping on a concrete pavement. There were multiple cracks on the face screen. My claim was processed and approved in a timely manner and I received a replacement phone within a short period (approx 1-1/2 wks). This timeframe was because I did not realize I did not select the confirmation button to process payment of my deductible. Once I did, I received the replacement phone in two days. Thank you.

I placed this order on August 7th And was told because I did it early enough in the day it would be overnighted. Long story short I did not receive my phone until almost the end of the month. I called more than three times and each time someone apologize and said, "Yes you've done everything correctly. We'll get it out to you by tomorrow." I was nice and courteous to every phone operator because I know it wasn't their fault but it was ridiculous. It wasn't until the last person helped me that he acknowledged this was ridiculous and processed it. I'm very unhappy with the service that I pay for a monthly.

I pay insurance every month for my phone so when it was stolen I had to pay a $180 to replace it even though I've been paying my insurance like that's absurd and then they didn't even pay off my phone. Should they at least pay off my phone that's what insurance does right.

I received my replacement phone and dissatisfied that it was not the same color of my current phone. I had a White Galaxy s10 plus and received a black one. It did not come with any cords or headphones. No one called to advise that it would be a different color. It is silly but I wanted the same phone I had. I would have upgraded my phone instead of replacing if I would have known. We had to do a replacement a few weeks prior for my husbands phone and it came correctly and with the new cord. My replacement was a different experience.

I filed my claim on 8/25/20. I received my replacement on 8/27/20. It was damaged. I returned it on 8/28/20. I called them on 8/29/20 to let them know I had already returned it. They where able to track it and said they we able to release another. Called again on 9/1/20 because I have not received it they told me that they had not pushed the button but that everything is good. Now 9/3/20 still no replacement yet.

Assurant sent me a defective replacement for my iPhone X. The facial recognition, camera and texting did not work (poor quality control). They would not send another replacement until I sent them the defective one, which I did. The manager assured me it would be shipped overnight...but it was not even sent by USPS until 2 days later, thus taking 4 days. The manager I was speaking to even hung up on me. Again, VERY POOR SERVICE! I am very dissatisfied.

I am extremely disappointed to have received a used device. It is also a different size that does not fit into my protective case. Very disappointing. I received a Galaxy S8+ instead of my Note 8 replacement. I requested to send me the correct phone, Note 8 first so that I can return my cracked phone and S8+ at the same time. The Galaxy is not a comparable device to Note 8. But they demanded to ship it back first so that they can send me the correct phone. I need to take a few time off from my work to drop off my phone. I will now have to do it twice for the mistake made by Assurant.

The claim itself was approved fast which I appreciate as that eased some anxiety. Unfortunately it’s been a month and I have not received my replacement devices and whenever I call I am told that there is no ETA and they don’t know when new phone shipments will be in. That is the worst response and solution I have ever heard! Meanwhile me and my family are left without cell phones adding on to already horrible situation. Most of the reps I spoke with were nice at least as I know they are just following script. It’s just horrible that the company has nothing in place for ETA’s on cell phones!
It’s been a month and still no one knows when I will get my cell phone! I feel like I am being punished or that this is happening to me on purpose because it’s been a month. It’s just a cell phone, how can your supplier leave you without replacement devices for so long? I paid for my insurance. I paid for my replacement. My claim was approved. Why am I being left in the cold without my cell phones? Everything else is fine other than that and it doesn’t seem like anyone really cares. Otherwise there would be better practices in place for situation such as this.

It was a quick easy process. Staff was nice. T-Mobile did a good job explaining what to do. Received phone within 2 days. Was able to transfer my stuff by myself. Would do it again in the future if needed.
