I am dissatisfied with my phone and exchange experience! The replacement phone I paid for, I received from Assurant, has the same overheating issues as the phone I returned. Why am I paying for insurance!

My experience was AWFUL. I own a Motorola Z4. I was told that I have a Samsung 10+. That's what I will be sent. I NEVER owned a Samsung. I don't like the product. But Assurant is forcing me to take whatever they want to give. Please have someone call me regarding this matter.

Great, courteous and fast service, no long waiting time over the phone. I received my replacement cell phone in 36 hours via Fedex. Reactivation and transferring data could do it myself, but since I have a T Mobile store a block away from me, they were able to do it for me.

I received a phone, and SIM card that was locked and not compatible with my network. I’ve sent back the non compatible device and still haven’t received my new working device. I should have immediately been overnighted another phone once you guys realized the error. Would not recommend anyone pay for this service.

I don't think it was enough time to turn in the phone and get everything changed over due to the fact they are not able to do everything for us at the Metro PCS office so therefore I have to do it myself and I am not technology savvy. I had to wait to get assistance and I was out of town during the time my phone broke and I am just now getting to figure out how to transfer everything. The person helped me get it together so I can transfer things to my new phone from my old phone. I also don't like that I have to turn my old phone in and be rushed to turn it in.

My watch was stolen and I needed to replace it. Called T-Mobile Assurant with no problem my account was handled. The agent was excellent in handling my case. The directions was clear on what to do and everything came through as he said!

Updated on 10/30/2020: Since Tuesday, I am struggling to submit one claim, their system was down for awesome 2 days !! And each time I called their customer care they said that my claim can be processed if I upload docs on Contact Us page which I did on Wednesday, and on Thursday I was told that my claim is under verification. And now on Friday, they say my claim was cancelled so they cannot proceed!! Guys, do not buy AppleCare+ insurance, it is a SCAM!!! Run!! Save your money from these scammers.
Original review: First of all Apple cheated by saying it is "Applecare" for the iPhone insurance as they have hidden the fact that it is some 3rd party insurance company. Now, when I lost my phone and want file for claim, the so called Assurant insurance company's website is down since 2 days!! And I am unable to submit the claim!! And I even heard that they give used phones as replacement phones, now I am worried !! It is indeed waste of money to buy an Apple care.

Phone was very hard to download info from old phone and sims card. 3 calls and 5-6 trips to store in order to be able to use phone so was on myself and other was just the phone but as of now all is good.

The process was somewhat painless. Assurant was able to provide cell phone repair shops in my zip code and it was easy to get a hold of them via Live Chat, which I would recommend rather the calling. Overall - I was satisfied.

I did my insurance claim on a Monday. They were supposed to express ship my phone. I was supposed to receive it the next day. I go back into my phone store on Friday and call to see where my phone is and they tell me that FedEx has already delivered it. Now let's keep in mind that my phone completely went out on the 14th of that month and it's already the 23rd of the month and now I'm being told I have to wait up to 14 days for them to do an investigation with FedEx. So you're basically telling me that I paid for my phone service and because the device and the insurance is messed up I didn't receive half a month of my service I paid for? I'm a single mom with two kids. I need my device.

The worst company I have ever dealt with. After being on the phone with them multiple times for many hours they refused to replace my device with a similar device or comparable one. Missing futures is not a comparable device. I supplied them with 7 phones that had the same features and they still refused.

See subject or call my landline **. The phone you sent can't be hooked up. It's on a bad list until it's cleared and on a good list. I have no service and a phone you charged me $50 more on top the $400. Paid when I purchased the 2 phones at time of purchase. I'm not happy getting ripped off. It's a lot of money.

I am very dissatisfied with the level of service that I was provided. I sent a copy of my driver's license 4 times and each time I would call and verify that it was received, the representative would tell me that the image was unclear and to re-send. The last time I called, the rep that I spoke to actually took the time to investigate the issue and she was told by the back office that I was uploading the ID to the wrong place and that I needed to email the ID instead.
This process took a week to resolve. I really wish the other reps would have helped me and got to the root of the problem which was that I was sending it via an incorrect method. I find it hard to believe that it took reps to provide me with a solution. I work from home and connect via my cell phone and I was unable to properly work all week because of this delay. I had to use my time off of work because I did not receive my phone in a timely manner. Surely you can view my account notes somewhere to see all the issues I experienced.

I paid the insurance on my original phone for several years and was disappointed to be charged the replacement deductible of $149. Surely, I thought, I would be getting a newer model. No- it is a refurbished iPhone 7 with glitchy sound issues that I took to my local T-Mobile store. They were surprised the deductible was so high. With the insurance for years and deductible, I could have purchased a new phone. I immediately dropped the continued insurance as a result. It is not worth the money. The store suggested that I submit this complaint and ask for a newer phone as a replacement.

Monthly charges way too expensive to maintain. Not able to afford monthly fee amount. Need to lower monthly rates. Would not recommend service to others, cheaper to purchase now or used phone with online websites.

Your customer service personnel are top-notch. I have no issues with them at all. When you call the automated system tells you to fill out the insurance forms online that it will be faster. It took a while for me to navigate through the responses on the online form because what happened wasn't described in the choices I had to choose from. When I was finished I had to call anyway because I put too many numbers on my phone's identification number even though it said to input what was there. It would have been better to talk to someone from the start. It would have been less frustrating even if it had taken longer. I would much rather speak with a person than deal with an online system. For the price we pay for your service and then still have such a high deductible you should be able to provide us more personal care.

Call red my mobile service to let them know of physical damage to my phone. They set me up Assurant. I submitted a claim and made payment all in one easy process, phone shipped the same day and I had it the very next day. Great service!

Once the procedure was explained to me and I understood what to do, things went very smoothly, but this took two weeks. The problem came with the return of my damaged phone. I mailed it on October 9, 2020 and began tracking it two days later. The return of the phone was good from 10/9 until 10/17/20. It then seemed to be stuck in Harrisburg, PA. I could not find out what was going on. Finally on 10/26, I received an email stating that the damaged phone would be delivered on 10/27/20. I have not gotten word that it was delivered at 1:30 on 10/27/20 to "an individual" at the address. I am happy with the experience, but disgusted with the U.S. Postal System.

You guys are CROOKS! I can't believe I've spent SO MUCH of my hard earned money on insurance throughout the past few years and the phone you send me is refurbished and the screen is fake (not original screen). There is white spots on the LCD and the phone glitches constantly. I will be filing a claim through the BBB! I cancelled my insurance and told ALL MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY (7 of them cancelled their insurance after my experience).

1st time using the insurance I've been paying to T-Mobile for years. The person that helped me was polite and she took care of putting the replacement right away, got my phone within a couple days and today I shipped the old one back. The replacement phones looks brand new and works perfectly, it also came with the accessories too, charger, adapter, etc.

I thought that I would be getting a brand new phone, not a refurbished one. The battery on this one is always dying. I paid for the insurance to cover a new phone and I get a rebuilt one. It wasn't overnight either. Not too happy..

I'm very irritated and honestly want to change carriers because my screen to my phone broke on 10/16/20 so I went to a Tmobile store that day, they helped me order a replacement that was suppose to get here on 10/19/20 but there was something wrong with the shipping address and I was unable to correct it due to your faulted system. So my package had to be reshipped and was supposed to arrive today, 10/23/20. The package was shipped through FedEx, it says it's been delivered but I can assure it's not here. Now I have to wait for a family member to get home because I can't call you guys to fix the problem and I've been without a phone for a week! Complete and total failure To provide services Paid for in a timely manner. 13 days to receive my replacement phone. After waiting 2 weeks for the phone it has issues. Upper left hand corner of the screen turns green. About the size of a pencil eraser from time to time just turn green. So I didn't even get a quality replacement. Should have not opted for insurance and kept the money to buy a replacement Out of my own pocket.

We order the replacement on 10/16/2020 before 8:00p.m. and we were told the replacement would arrive on 10/17/2020. It took 4 days for us to get the replacement, then they cut the service off because of a $21.88 charge from the store to transfer data from old phone to the new. We were not informed of this charge beforehand or even after. After the payment for the replacement we were NEVER ABLE to track it. The service was horrible.

Y’all are stealing from people. I paid 11.99 for 24 months, paid 100 dollars for a new phone covered by insurance, and paid my phone off to where I own it. Now I have to send MY phone back or get charged 1,500 dollars. That’s theft.

I lost phone I had just purchased 2-3 weeks prior. I called T-Mobile and they said I had insurance on the phone. They told me to contact Assurant. This happened on a Wednesday. You all sent my new phone out the next day, and I received it that Thursday. I was pretty certain that my daughter's phone would not be replaced for the second time in a month. She dropped phone 1 and this phone she laid down in a puddle of water accidentally of course. This company delivered both times with no hassles.

I was very upset I cracked the screen of my phone, however, this process was so easy in replacing my phone that I will NEVER get upset again. The process was so easy! I simply called Assurant. Gave them all required info and they overnight me a replacement phone with a postage paid return box for my broken phone. The transfer from my old phone to my new phone was seamless and I'm back up and running like it was never broken. THANK YOU!

I made 2 calls to your customer service reps and neither one would send me a new phone. I had to go to US Cellular & they called & finally got a phone sent to me. The battery was bad! Had to return phone for refund!

I pay monthly insurance, I place a claim and the deductible is $200.00, not to mention I got a replacement that is a refurbished phone not a new one, and in my case that replacement was registered to another account. I was asked repeatedly where did I get the replacement? Did I purchase from a private party? Very unsatisfied.

My claim was handled very quickly and accurately and the device was overnighted which was incredibly helpful. The deductible for a phone that has been paid in full seems a bit costly especially when you're paying monthly and no claims in years. It feels like you paid for a new phone just on the monthly insurance rates. Deductible should be lower on devices that have been paid off. Overall I'm happy with the processing of the claim and accuracy of such.

Had problems with my phone till it completely died and Assurant replaced it no problem. And the new phone seems to work better than the last one. And that is a good thing. Cuz I use my phone for almost everything at work.

Worse experience ever! I made my claim on Friday and didn’t get my phone until Wednesday, I thought you offered next day delivery. I called and ask to confirm the address and the rep would all give me a different address. I asked to speak to a manager Peter and ask for a follow up call and he said he could not! This was the worse customer service ever. No one was willing to help. I had to call multiple time because I do not trust the information provide and had to follow up and ask for updates! Don’t even know why I have insurance. I was without a phone for 6 days.

I recently upgraded for the first time in 4-5 years due to being picky about my phone and with the pandemic right now, having a new phone was last on my mind. But when I Do I always make sure that I get the best insurance to cover my phone through Assurant. I accidentally dropped my phone after Only 2 months of having it. When filing my claim and receiving my new phone, it came in the wrong color. I called to let them know. I was talk to in a rude manner and told that color isn’t covered in ANY insurance coverage on these over $1,000 phones that you pay over 20$ a month in protection on.
When I purchased the phone and the protection plan that I wanted, I expected to be given the same phone. Including color, even if it had to be a refurbished phone. When I told them I specifically only purchased the phone for the color, and the color they sent me was the ugliest one, I was told by the “expert” to go buy a cover case in the color I wanted. I didn’t think it was professional, they did NOTHING to fix my issue what so ever although my phone company went out of their way to make sure they did everything in their power, even getting their supervisor involved to call me and assure That I was satisfied. Assurant is the last place I would choice to insurance my devices.

When I first filed the claim it took almost 3 weeks and an email from me to even get information about the claim. Part two of poor service is that I live in Massachusetts and they shipped my device to Florida. Now I am without a phone for another 2 weeks or until the investigation is complete.

Glad I have the insurance for my phone. The screen went blank on my Android and the repair cost would've been more than the replacement insurance deductible. I received my upgraded "new" phone inside of two days (over the weekend). That's pretty fast. Thank goodness I also use "find my phone". I was able to wipe the "screenless" phone remotely and I had saved all of my phones info on google contacts and Your phone microsoft. Plan ahead.

I started my claim online, which was very easy and I would have completed in minutes but the little sticker with my cell phone IMEI number was a bit blurred on one number so I wasn't sure when answering the question about providing the number. My concern was that if I entered the incorrect number regardless of legibility, the claim would be denied because it wouldn't match my device registration. Rather than risk it, I called the toll free number. The agent was very helpful, friendly and understanding. She verified my identity, gathered my information, and processed my claim in minutes. At the end of the call she told me my replacement phone would be to me the very next day! That's great service! I'm so glad I bought the handset protection for my phone.

This plan gives you a replacement phone exactly like the phone you had. An old refurbished cheapie phone that is no longer available for sale. For the amount of money we spent on insurance we could have bought a new, better phone. A rip-off.

The device was sent to my house even after I called and told them I would be out of town for the next week. I contacted customer service or whomever and let them know I would not be home for over 7 days of the time on delivery. I was told they would have it sent to the hotel I was going to be staying at but it did not come. When I got back home yesterday my new device was sitting there by my front door completely exposed to the weather and unsecured. It was in a white bag which saved it from the rain but made it more visible. I hope it's not too late to send the old one back already but I just now got it activated and wiped the old phone. This was a horrible experience and I will cancel my insurance plan with your company ASAP.
Thanks for charging me 60 dollars on top of the 3 dollars a month for some 2 years to send me an outdated device that they probably only sell in India or some other 3rd world country where 2 year old equipment is still ok. I never would have made the claim but they would not tell me what kind of device I would receive until after it had been processed and mailed. I will be sure and let everyone I know in person and online all about your company's service practices. I just wish I knew more than the 1,000 people I do to tell them all about how well I was taken care of. If you want let me know if we can help each other out. Honestly, there’s so much to say. I was replacing a destroyed phone and was wondering why my claim was taking so long to get filed. I talked through the messenger and they said that my phone payment didn’t go through (that wasn’t the case), when I 100% put in my payment info and nothing on my account online indicated that anything was wrong or explained why it was taking so long. Come to find that I was missing the color and the gbs on my insurance claim. How did I find out you may ask? I called them because apparently they tried to CALL a broken phone to get the information?? How does that make sense.. Nothing updated on my account for me to realize anything was wrong. But just a phone call?? No email?? Sorry, but y’all gotta be smarter than that.

Account records were not kept up to date with third party Assurant, so when they asked for proof of identity they wouldn't accept my actual proof currently on record with my carrier. I had to guess multiple times at which previous address Assurant was looking for to confirm my identity, and then that triggered additional security steps which ultimately delayed the delivery of my replacement device. Customer service had no solution (like calling my carrier directly to update their records) and would not help me out until I could remember an address I lived at 13 years/4 moves ago.

Called Assurant 4 times to file a claim, I had to drive to a T-Mobile store and have a employee assist me in filing a claim successfully. The phone I received had a hairline crack on the glass right out of the box. The camera does not work. The game constantly disconnects and reconnects. I have had it with Assurant, they have horrible customer service, (mind you I autopay my bills and have never missed a single payment in 4+ years now.)

My device arrived on time and it was the same color as my broken device. It was very easy to transfer data from one device to the other. I was surprised that the replacement arrived so soon. It would have extra special if I had received a new charging cord with my replacement.

This was a truly wonderful experience. My 12 year old grandson left his phone outside and it got rained on. The phone wouldn't turn on and wouldn't charge. We went into the T-Mobile store to get another newer iPhone but found out my insurance on the phone would replace the phone. The claim filing was easy, the service incredible! The new phone was delivered the next day. We were able to get the new phone set up and transferred with his SIM card and he was good to go. Thank you for your great service.

The whole process was a nightmare. It took almost 2 weeks to finally get the replacement and after calling 4 times (each time telling me they forgot to ask about something). I was appalled how I was spoken to by the last representative as well. He was rude and he belittled me (but spoke to my husband with respect). I will never recommend anyone use this company.

I'm dissatisfied with the replacement. It's a bad deal. I paid $16/month for 2 years plus another $100 down for a free refurbished cell phone that doesn't work well. That's $1664 for a phone that frequently drops calls, shuts down, has trouble loading pages from wifi or even connecting to wifi. I'm going to send it back. I'm also not going to pay the insurance protection to T-Mobile. It's simply not worth it. Thank you.

I did an insurance claim and they told me that I would be getting a refurbished device. Ok I received my device. Ups set it up and couldn't hear on the phone. It kepted lighting up and going dark, screen moving. I called in about it. They said I have to send this one back before I can get another one but I would like a brand-new phone. I pay insurance every month therefore if something happens to device I should be able to get a new phone and not a refurbished phone???? Very very very upset customer.

My phone was reported as lost. Police recovered phone. Phone is being sent back to me. Assurant replaced phone. Assurant wants phone back. Assurant (owner) agree. Lost phone cost $175.00 to replace. Lost phone cost $175.00 nothing to return. Broken phone cost $100.00 returning phone. Found phone by police (is a phone returned). Why!!! Do I not get a refund of $75.00. When you get a phone back why not return $75.00. Found phone and broken phone {you still get back a phone}. My rating of Assurant insurance is on a scale of 1 thru 10 is minus 10.

The claim process was super easy and I received the phone within a day, however this phone is no better than the one I replaced. I had the first phone two year and I only had to charge it about every 10 day up until the last 6 month of owning it, then I had to charge it daily. Hence the warranty return. Why did I pay $100.00 just to have to charge it daily again?

I broke my phone on a Monday dropping out of my pocket basically breaking the LED as it fell down my staircase. I filed a claim late in the night (I recommend doing as early in the day as possible!). The next morning my device was shipped and then delivered to my front door the day after. It was a very fast process which also thanks to the company got an extra charging cord and charging cube! (Which we all know aren't that cheap!) If I had to sum it up in one sentence it is this following one. I’ve worked with Assurant on several occasions for years considering I work with a company whose customers they insure. Having to deal with my own experiences the last 3 months has lead me to this review today. Assurant customer service reps are by far the rudest most unfriendly and unprofessional reps I have ever had contact with. Every rep I have spoken with has made it very clear they hate their job. Assurant as a company and the policies they hold is fine but the reps they hire need to all be fired or micro managed more. There is no reason for all of them to be so damn rude. I hope this review is not overlooked but taken into consideration as your reps are the face of the company.

I had a horrible experience, the staff was not educated on the policies so I heard 3 different things about my claim from different agents. My experience was a disaster. I had a Note 5 which was awesome for years and Assurant sent me the worst phone which is the Samsung 7 Edge and I am familiar with this phone because my family member have one. My replacement phone, the alarm didn't go off when it's supposed to. I can't swipe to answer calls sometimes, I have to restart it. I can barely hear the other caller and the little button which looks like the speaker at the top was shaken like it was gonna fall out...DISAPPOINTED is an understatement. I was not expecting a brand new phone but at least a decent working phone would have been appreciated. Thank you.

I have purchased an extended warranty from Costco on all my cell phones. I have used the extended warranty previously and was very satisfied with the service provided. My recent experience however has been a little more frustrating. I submitted my claim a week ago, and still waiting for a replacement device. I have been told that they are searching for an equivalent replacement, however a week without a functioning cell phone at a time when most of us are working from home is not acceptable. Phone staff have all been very pleasant however not sure I would purchase the warranty again with the realization that it might be over a week to be up and running.

The experience was seamless and hassle free. After answering the questions with a representative I was transferred to an automated system to give me payment information. True to the timeline provided I received my device in two business days. The only hangup is with trying to get it activated. They provide a telephone number for activation but fail to mention that if you don't have your old device or a separate phone that you have to do it in store. Only a little inconvenient.

Online it kept telling me my serial number was wrong, but never sent me an email to inform me. I found out days later because I went to the website. When I called to make sure things were ok, the Lady on the phone said it was fine, took my card number and then said my order was good to go. After few more days of my phone not arriving, I called again and it turns out my order was never processed by the first Lady because she was a "learning program." All this led to my phone being a full week late on the claim. If you're gonna train people with customer, at least have somebody check them. Had my phone been worse off, I would've missed an entire week of work and business.

Since I brought over my own device, I always have to wait a long time to get my replacement. I struggled because it kept asking me for a code that was sent to the device with the broken screen. Also I was not notified that I had to call to get the claim approved.

I contacted T-Mobile for my husband's iPhone problem about 3 weeks ago. I was transferred to Assurant and then after a long wait, I spoke with a rep and then suddenly no more responses. I called and again after 10 minutes, the rep stopped responding. They did say they would send a link.. Never got it. So I went on the website and input my banking info for the deductible. Two weeks later and multiple calls that direct me to the website, I finally get a person that verifies and approved my claim. The 3 stars is because the shipping and delivery was not problematic but customer service and the website is terrible.

I received a replacement phone that was used and still had the other person security code in phone, tried to explain this to the representative. He asked to speak to the T Mobile rep, not realizing I was standing by the rep he accused me of not being the person the replacement phone was sent to. I had to prove to them who I was. Very embarrassing.

I pay for insurance on phone. I don't agree with paying a deductible for a cheap phone. I pay a premium each month. I don't believe I will continue carrying this insurance. This phone is so old it has a sim card. I had to call in to get it activated.

I received the replacement phone Tuesday evening about 5PM. I took it to T-Mobile on Kenosha and 71st St that same week to get the information transferred to the new phone. When I checked closer a few days later, I found that all my pictures were not transferred over to my replacement phone as well as when I was using the phone Sunday. The screen changed by itself to the main Home screen. I changed it back to the screen I was viewing. Then it began to scroll up by itself. Today, Monday, I can't find some very important pictures and videos I need for legal purposes. I am not happy.
I lost also some photos I I of a family member which can not be replaced. I am distraught. Now I'm waiting on ANOTHER replacement phone to arrive tomorrow. I don't know whether my phone has been targeted by hackers or past relationship with ex-spouse or family. Please extend the ten day grace period so I can have a T-Mobile store representative see if they can work on it at the store to see if my photos, and videos can be restored. Thank you. My number is **. Also dealing with fraud in mobile banking app on my phone as well. I did delete the account as well as close the account. Problem has not been resolved.

First of all the day I called to file a claim my call was dropped 3 times after giving all required information causing me to spend hours on the phone. I finally was able to file the claim the next day successfully. When I would try to check on the status of my claim online I'd be able to log in one minute, then the next minute I couldn't. You all were asking for my parents ids to be submitted online and had never asked before which raised red flags for them as they were skeptical and cautious so we had to do two calls with you all and were still not given a real explanation. You all asked for my phone receipt and I sent it in the same day. I called to verify that you received it a couple days later and was told yes. Then called to check on my claim a week later only for you all to ask me to send it again.
I sent it in again, doing everything I was asked. Then you all said you needed pictures of the box, sent that in then you sent a list of other things that were needed. I sent that in and heard nothing back. I called to check on the claim the next week and your systems were down. I called back the next day and they said expect an email within 48 hours. Then I finally got an email saying my phone was shipped 3 weeks after I filed my claim. This was supposed to be an overnight process, the operators even said they had no idea why Assurant was doing all this extra stuff, nobody provided me an explanation. Just ridiculous and unacceptable. I'm just glad it's over because I was very disappointed.

As soon as I explained my problem, that I had in vain tried to locate my lost mobile phone for 3 days, and that I sorely needed a replacement, I filed my claim and got approval the same day. I called to report my son's phone lost, they somehow disconnected my phone my line. When I specifically stated which line and number and color it was. As a result of this my phone was disconnected while I was working! Mind you I work from my phone. I stopped at a local phone store only to be embarrassed because my phone was reported stolen by you. I still have not gotten my $249.00 dollars for that phone which I returned. I need someone to contact me ASAP!

I filed a claim in a T-Mobile store. Immediately got assistance from police department and located the phone 3-4 hours later. Called back to Assurant from lost phone to report that I had retrieved the phone and was calling from that same phone; so no need to ship the phone. Replacement phone was still sent without any effort to cancel shipment. FYI: Cancellation of shipment is not available to customers because Assurant doesn't allow for the shipment to be cancelled. I know this for a fact because I work for the company that was used to ship it. Although the phone was still sent after I requested to cancel the shipment, the replacement was delivered the next day. I immediately refused/returned the replacement phone (package unopened).
The same day that the replacement phone was delivered, ironically my phone was blocked from cellular service. This was an inconvenience to me because I use my phone for my business. I missed 2 very important appointments that day because I didn't have service to call anyone. I was on-call at my part-time job and nobody was able to reach me because my service was cut off by this company. In addition, it was blocked for 3 DAYS, Why?? I had already called from the reported phone to disclose that I had already found the phone. At that stage, the shipment should have been halted and returned to their warehouse. At no point did an associate disclaim that the reported lost/stolen phone would be blocked from cellular service, NEVER.
They should be transparent and inform the customer that their phone would be blocked from cellular service. Plus, I have to wait 10-15 business days to get my money back?? It didn't take them 10-15 days to receive the money. They should allow the customer the option to cancel shipment. This can be done but the way that they have their account set up, only THEY can cancel and that can be done with a phone call or a push of a button. The phone being blocked for 3 days is totally unnecessary, especially when that can be changed with a push of a button within a matter of seconds or minutes. I have already contacted my attorney for legal action. This "process" is totally unnecessary and an inconvenience to the customer ESPECIALLY after they were contacted prior to the phone being delivered.

My hold time was ridiculously LONG. I had to go to the computer to complete the set-up of my daughter's phone cause the hold time was ridiculously long. My hold time started with nine minutes then it changed to 40 minutes. BUT after coming to the computer to finish setting up the phone the young man that assisted me on the computer was awesome.

People were nice on the phone, assured me that because we called the claim in at 2:30, phone would be processed and mailed that day and we'd have it the next day, Friday. Did not receive the phone until 8:30 Tuesday evening, definitely a lot longer than we had expected. When I called to figure out what the problem was, was told that, "yes, I can see, you'll get it Tuesday, have a nice day". No explanation, no reason as to what the delay was. Unfortunately have no choice but to use your company, and have had no problems with future claims, but not very happy with this one.

I reported my Apple 5S phone stolen on 9.20.20. Immediately, $175 was taken from my credit card. After many hours of calls, I finally received a replacement phone FIVE DAYS later, only to discover it was a refurbished 5S, which isn't even worth half the $175 (not to mention the over $600 in premiums we paid over the years). I returned the phone on 9.28.20. It was received by Assurant on 10.1.20 and I still have not been refunded my $175, nearly 3 weeks later. You certainly were quick to take my money though.
I've cancelled the insurance on all our phones, have informed U.S. Cellular and will be contacting my credit card company on 10.21.20 if my credit isn't received by then to contest this charge. I think three weeks is more than a sufficient amount of time to expect a refund. Your company is garbage, and if I could rate you a zero, I would.

Claim #: **. Claim date: 10/3/2020. Original Device: iPhone XS 64GB Grey. Replacement Device: iPhone XS 64GB Gold. I was somewhat satisfied with the online claim process. I had difficulties with the provided instructions to turn off Find My Phone as my device was still active on my iCloud account, however the touch screen was unable to be used (which was the issue for the claim). I was able to solve it with some internet research by having to erase my device (not in instructions), then remove from my iCloud account.
I received my replacement device quite quickly with the next day shipping provided. However, I was a bit confused and disappointed as on the claims website the replacement device was a different color (gold) than my original (grey), and what was labeled on the claims website as my replacement I was supposed to receive. I called Assurant's contact number and was advised that color could not be guaranteed.
I am extremely dissatisfied with the fact that my Xfinity Mobile account was not updated with the new correct device IMEI and ICCID after 9 days and took a few hours working their support team to correct as it prevented me from making changes to my account. All in all, I do have a new device that is working, however, considering the time lost having to correct the account and the amount of the deposit and monthly insurance payments over 2 years, for me I wouldn't say it was worth it to receive another 2 year old device in a color way that I specifically didn't choose when I originally purchased my device.

It was a nightmare to get questions answered and get the claim done. Please stop outsourcing!! Hire people in the United States who speak fluent English and then hire people who speak other languages spoken in America who are fluent in those languages too! Once I got the right information, the "how to" and who to actually talk with the process was pretty smooth. Although I was told by my provider I could get screen replaced. The rep originally wanted to set me up with a full replacement of handset. After we worked thru my not needing that, my order was placed. The process from getting my provider to to the end result was cumbersome at best. But I am happy with the results.

The agents were very helpful in handling my situation with my Galaxy S8 android phone. I got my replacement phone the very next day, around 3pm central time. I do think that the manufacturer's need to create something in case you can't get your screen to come on, because of a badly cracked face on the phone, so you can get all your information, and to more importantly shut the phone off before mailing it back to the insurance company.

I received the replacement phone in the allotted amount of time but the problem is that the SIM card that was sent with the phone had mismatched numbers which caused a loss of 3 days of service. Absolute incompetence on someone's end. Serious lack quality assurance in the line somewhere.

I filed a claim on Friday October 2nd. I received an email within 24 hours and processing would take 3-5 days. On October 6th I reached out because after tracking my claim there was no update and your competitors have been able to replace my device within 24-48 hours from the time a claim was submitted in the past so that was already a kick to the gut. I had to call to speak to a customer service representative to tell me that they did not have that device in stock and a management team member would contact me in 24 hours. A day past and no one contacted me so I again reached out and was finally told that there was a device ready to be shipped.
I received confirmation on October 7th that my device was shipped. When it came in the next day I was FURIOUS to see that it was not the original color of my device. I did not spend over $1000 to get a device in a completely different color! So I called back and was brushed off basically told that color wasn't a guarantee! Again this whole process was a hassle. I absolutely do not feel valued as a customer. Heaven forbid I need to file a new claim in the future. I really am still upset that I did not receive the bronze Note 20 Ultra. That is what I paid over $1000 for!

I had a replacement Samsung watch sent to me that turned out to be defective. I called customer service. Failed to get any help and asked to speak to a supervisor, first attempted I got hung up on, second time I spoke to one who refused to help me and I asked to speak to someone over him and I spoke to a manager. Same thing he said there's nothing he can do for me. they said they couldn't do anything until they had proof I sent defective device back and they had to see it in the system. I already had packed damaged device in envelope sealed and they said it would be fine but they couldn't send it to me until it showed that I had sent the device in the mail.
Did it the next day on a Saturday, called and then was told I couldn't do that because they must receive the replacement device first. I ask to speak to a manager and I was connected with a supervisor who helped me out. I told her my story and she said she would allow it one time but it's not policy to go ahead and send a second replacement item when the first one is out. She finally helped me out. Other issue was I originally had a Samsung Gear 2 watch. I believe you guys did not have any of them in the warehouse and they sent me a replacement Samsung Active 2 the 44mm silver. Close to the one I had.
I asked to make sure I would receive the same but I ended getting the Samsung Active 2 gold as the second replacement watch. Not what I wanted but you guys sent it and it's working. Made everything real difficult for me to get helped and spent a total of about 2 and a half hrs on the phone bouncing back and forth with people who could help me and never got helped because your policies wouldn't allow me to get the help I needed that in the end I received anyways.

The only thing disappointing was they couldn't transfer all my info over to the replacement phone because they needed to use the screen of my broken phone to do that. Not your fault.

I made a claim for a cracked and broken screen on my Samsung Galaxy S9 cell phone. I had a replacement phone in my hands the next day. I took it to my service provider and they transferred everything from the old phone and I returned the damaged one in the envelope provided. Incredibly easy!!

I filed my claim online but for some reason I wasn't able to make my deductible payment so I called their customer service and they quickly verified all my info and cell info and took my payment. Their customer service agent had a very thick accent which I thought I wasn't going to be able to understand but actually it was great, needless to say I received an email the very next morning that my replacement was on the way which I received the following day! I thought it would have taken longer due to the whole Covid thing but nope!!! All I had to do was transfer all my data and send my broken phone back on the prepaid envelope provided by them. Overall, it was a great and satisfying experience. Well worth the $6 I pay monthly for their service, I recommend!!!!

This has been the worst experience I have ever had with a cell phone service. I have been paying for cell phone insurance for over two years, and I have never missed a payment on my cell phone bill. Well my cell phone broke and I sent in a claim to get a new one. Well the phone Assurant sent me immediately crashed and would not turn back on. I spent two hours on the phone after that talking to Assurant and Apple representatives. And after we all finally figured it out that the phone Assurant sent me was a dud and out of warranty Assurant said they would send me another one as soon as I sent them back the broken one they sent me.
Well I did that on Monday. FedEx has not updated my shipment and Assurant will not send me a new phone until they do. FedEx probably lost it and there is nothing I can do about it. Thankfully my brother let me borrow his phone or I would have been without a phone for over a week now. I am paramedic and have to have a phone for work. This has been a huge inconvenience! So I will be canceling all Xfinity services and will NEVER use Assurant again.

A couple of weeks ago I dropped my phone and cracked screen. So I contacted T-Mobile about following up on my insurance with phone because a lot of times that stuff be a gimmick. You pay for the added service and there is almost always a catch 22 to the company honoring the service but not with T-mobile and Asssurant. They are 100% legit. I immediately went to the Assurant website and filed my claim for my cracked screen and paid my $10 deductible then the very next day, in less than 24 hours, FedEx delivered my brand new Samsung phone around 12 noon. I am blown away by the honesty, professionalism and easy navigation on the website and claim process. This Assurant company is honest, customer-friendly and the real deal...

I dropped my phone and it cracked! I contacted T-mobile and submitted a claim and it got approved quickly. The entire process was so quick and painless. I truly appreciate it! Being able to receive my phone the next day was amazing!

You sent White iPhone instead of Black. I asked for a Replacement iPhone. The order shows my original iPhone was Black but I’ve waited long enough for my iPhone. I sent old Damaged 7 Plus back which was Black. Your email says you received it so there should be no $$ charged for it not being returned.

For some reason they denied my claim. When I called, the person handling the claim tried to find every loophole not to approve my claim. Then he lied and said a supervisor wasn't available. I then called right back and got a supervisor and after a very long process she finally approved the claim. It took about a week and a half to get my phone and it's only supposed to take one day. I canceled the insurance as soon as I got my replacement.

Assurant replaced a damaged cell phone under an insurance plan through the cell phone service provider. Service was lightning fast without dispute. New phone was delivered in two days; the replacement was an exact equal of the original phone.

My wife dropped her newer phone accidentally, and it started malfunctioning immediately. I called T-Mobile to find out if my insurance was still good for that phone. What a relief that it was still covered. The representative did all the paperwork, and emailed me my claim form. I signed off on the form and had the new phone within 36 hours. Tremendous speed. Everything about filing was quick and simple. Thank you for what you do.

The claim went through very quickly, and efficiently... I am just wondering if the device I received back was new, or refurbished. I am having some issues with the device... like a lagging screen and slower speeds. I am satisfied and happy to have a device that works though.

My input will not matter, to non decision makers reading it. I do not want a cheesy response like it would help anything. The employees are trained poorly, decision makers. The insurance sucks. I lost thousands of dollars, ended up leaving the carrier, the whack insurance plan,.and hope never to return. My entire family left T-Mobile and the "insurance" from "Assurant" or whoever. As long as the companies generate massive profits, the decision makers are not changing the culture of improving services. No need to respond, all it would be is a paid empathetically trained response from an employee.

This is my second re-furbished phone through your company. The battery takes almost two hours to fully charge. This time around the phone came with catches and drop marks on the top corner. Thanks but no thanks, next time around I'll just buy a new phone out right and not deal with the hassle. You're getting two stars because it did get delivered quickly.

Great interface on protection 360 and very user friendly. Replacement phone was shipped in very timely manner and arrived the next day. Return shipping of old device was simple with attached envelope and shipping label.

My experience went very well and easy with T-mobile and Assurant. It was easy to file my claim as well as receive my replacement phone. The Representative was very professional and courteous and I received my replacement phone within the next 1 to 2 days. I was also provided a return prepaid envelope which made it easy to return the damaged phone. Thank you T-mobile and Assurant for outstanding services.

Damaged and broken screen made it difficult to use the touch inputs, needed to replace phone as soon as possible, request was done without difficulty and timely. I am really satisfied by the service provided by Assurant.

I had a great deal of trouble getting my phone delivered to my house due to FedEx losing the package, and Assurant customer service was extremely helpful. They made it easy to get a replacement device shipped to my T-Mobile store for me to pick up, and were knowledgeable about their systems. FedEx customer service was horrible and I appreciate Assurant making this process relatively painless.

I am currently experiencing technical difficulties with my replacement device. For the 2nd time now I lose all signal and am forced to use wifi for connection. I took the device to a T-Mobile store and they were unable to detect the problem. They told me it would be my phone, being as my sim card worked in another phone. Is there any way I can get a replacement device for my replacement device.

I called your phone team while in the store, since my phone was not working. After waiting 5 to 10 minutes I spoke with an ** guy, I know because I'm also **, and was hung up on. After waiting and speaking to someone on my second attempt, I think Chris, I was hung up on again. The service I received is unacceptable. I've told Metro and I'll reiterate to you, I will leave Metro before I go thru this experience again!

Experience was horrible, I was on the phone for 2hrs just to file a claim. The representatives kept transferring me to T-Mobile for no reason. If it’s up to me you wouldn’t receive no star. Not even one.

I was told the by the rep that the address I gave her so she could look up my was incorrect three times before the manager took over and verified it was the correct address. That was after having to talk to three other people because they couldn't look up my account. The reason I called is because the replacement phone they sent was different from the one I originally bought. It took up a lot of time during work hours and was extremely frustrating.
