Replacement of a damaged phone took 2 months. Only constant calling completed the transaction. The agents were difficult to understand and poorly trained. Oh yes, There was a big deductible on the insurance.

Assurant Phone Insurance is the best! I got a replacement phone right away. Assurant is an honest and professional company. I am so happy and greatly for my replacement device. Assurant even honored a upgrade. I feel so lucky for my new iPhone.

We upgraded my son's TMobile phone through the TMobile/Assurant JUMP program. We returned the phone using the prepaid Smart Label provided by Assurant by dropping it off at a USPS drop off location and received a confirmation of receipt/tracking number. We received a reminder email from Assurant that the phone was due by 12/25 and when we input our tracking number in the USPS tracking system and discovered that it is showing as label created, not yet in system.
The package was dropped off on 11/27/2020 and should be in the system by now. We called Assurant to let them know and were told it is OUR responsibility. This is absurd. We used Assurant's return process and label and have a receipt proving drop off. We expect TMobile/Assurant to take it from here and to be responsible for any loss they suffer. My next contact will be with the BBB, the Utah Insurance Department, and the FCC.

I had to wait for almost a week after the 10 business day waiting period to receive my deductible back over a defective replacement phone. I was so unhappy that I went out and bought a new phone instead of trying to get another replacement.

Had my phone at my door within five hours of me making payment online. I was amazed. I wish my phone had already had my service setup on phone since Metropcs now charges a$20 fee to transfer the number to a new device.

Filed a claim in late June for a broken device and got charged for a lost or missing device; an extra $100 or so... I sent her devices in, per your request, and got charged another $400 dollars for a non-return fee on a claim that was charged for a lost/stolen device.. So I ended up paying upwards of $600 for an iPhone 8... in June 2020. Now it's December 2020 and the phone's front camera doesn't work. I really hope you guys can make this right. Otherwise I'll be forced to leave T Mobile and leave this review whereever I can online. I cannot believe you would treat a loyal customer of 6+ years this way. It's actually embarrassing.

Phone didn’t come with a charger and phone seems to not wanna hold a charge. I’ve tried several chargers, they seem small and slip out and may get up to 10 percent but that’s it.. I don’t know what else to do.

I am very satisfied with my claim and how quickly I received my phone and my proper approval. Very fast and reliable! There is a price described in the coverage details stating 29$ for a cracked screen. It was never explained there was no location to repair my screen in the area and that I would have to pay 99$ for a cracked screen until after I cracked my screen.

I received my replacement Apple SE2 with a SIM card that was not registered with the new phone replaced, also my claimant name got printed wrong. My slip says my name is Nicole (it is Hope) ** (it is **). After 6 transfers I suppose it got lost in translation, an hour to claim my phone, then 2 days at the Xfinity store. An hour each time to try to set up with WRONG SIM CARD SENT. Xfinity store was kind and embarrassed they could not fix the SIM card issue, Assurant in my opinion is poor customer service and very poor in phone / SIM card detail replacement. They also keep asking me to send back the old phone, I'm sorry it's gone, lost, nada.

My iPhone was stolen at a local restaurant. Shortly after noticing the theft, I went to the Assurant website in order to initiate a claim process. It was extremely easy to complete online and no sooner after I had hit the send button, I received a confirmation with a delivery date. The claim was made around 4:00 PM and by 11:00 AM next morning, the replacement unit was delivered to my home. Awesome service!

Bought a phone and dropped it the very next day. Phone was cracked and scratched. Insurance was easy to deal with online. Replacement came in 2 days. The package came with an envelope/package and postage for easy return!

Not the best experience. I have been paying for my insurance for over 2 years. This is the first time using it to get a replacement. I'm not sure what happened but I didn't get my replacement phone. UPS tracking ** shows it was delivered on 12/11 but the package was not there when I got home. When I call your team to get answers about where my phone was the only option they give me is opening an investigation through ups or buy a new phone. I'm still without a phone waiting on ups. Like I said not the best experience. Hope I get my phone soon!

Great staff... Prompt and efficient service... My phone was lost at the airport and I immediately went to the nearest T Mobile store and report my phone.... I had to purchase a new chip... Then I contacted the insurance and the next business day my new phone was at my door... Thanks a mil...

Assurant delivered on their service promise. I submitted a claim for my lost phone and received my replacement phone in 2 days. The $50 deductible was affordable and they accept various forms of payment.

Went to store to get phone fixed (cracked screen). Instead placed an order for replacement phone. All I received was excellent service from both the agent at the store and the customer service at Assurant. My new phone was received the very next day.

Claim process was pretty swift and accurate, would definitely recommend to others in the future. At first there was an issue with them processing my claim due to the system showing a Note 20 Plus even though it doesn't exist, but the issue was rectified within 24 hours and my device was shipped within 2 days.

My grandson ran over his phone. He tried calling Apple Pay when Assurant told, "Hi, Apple Pay needed to fix it." He called Apple Pay and they said he had to have a appointment and be able to turn off “find my phone”. My grandson was frustrated as he couldn’t get in for a week and the phone would not turn on to get to this function. I then called Assurant and the lady spoke to a Supervisor and authorized the moment of a phone to be delivered to his door. It arrived the next day. So I will say Assurant did a great job.

My service was horrible. I was disconnected 3 times before finally being able to complete my claim. Even though I provided my phone number only one time was I called back. The time I was called back they wanted me to provide my password again. I had to call Tmobile back and be transferred since I didn't know it.

I have been with T-Mobile for 10 years now. With all that time I have barely made many claims. I have a total of 5 phone that are insurance. My last experience was horrible. One of my boys lost his phone and it took more than 10 days for him to get a new one. Since the insurance company was asking me for proof of purchase and I didn't have a physical copy of that information. I end up having to call tmobile to get that information and even they said that they should not be asking for proof of purchase. I have gotten all my phones from tmobile not sure why they would ask that. It was a bad experiences to go through and honestly I am still not sure why it went that way.

Returned damaged phone on 12/4 per Assurant's instructions, "Just use the shipping materials included with your replacement device..." They are claiming it was never returned. I followed THEIR process, and when I called them their rep asked for my TMobile password or my SS#. I objected and the call was disconnected. If the damaged phone was lost, they should develop a better process.

I made my payments on time. I pay my deductible and what I get a replacement phone after 3 Days what is not worked perfectly so I have to return the phone first to get a “new phone” so I stay with no phone for another 3 days. Why. I don't know. That phone is not my fault excuses COVID. I don't think I pay my bill. I don't put excuses.

Was hospitalized and never received the replacement phone and I don't know what I'm supposed to do. I'm using a phone from my daughter. I tried to refuse package at door but person driving said they couldn't take back my package. I took it UPS store to Return to Sender, next day it came back to my door. Phone came fairly quickly. The process was online and simple. Came with envelope and shipping label to return broken phone, dropped it at Fedex to return. New phone was a upgrade that was a very nice surprise!

Very unhappy calling Assurant. I was calling in regards to my iPhone plus 8 on 12/18/20 not working. I respect the policy that the company has but if a customer is answering all the personal questions and everything that is needed to a representative there is no need for denying to help a customer. Turning away a customer when help is needed. Very bad experience with this company. I prefer going directly to the store.

I am very dissatisfied. I am still waiting for the device. UPS never delivered it and the package is...lost? I am without the phone for more than a week (almost 2) and Assurant is telling me I have to wait for the "investigation" to be done. I do understand it needs to but why do I have to pay for it? My kids are home without the device so in case they need me they cannot call me. I thought Assurant will send me another device right away and continue their investigation on their end. I paid $ 150.00 deductible plus I pay to TMobile monthly for the insurance for the phone (Samsung S7) that is not even worth that money. The service at Assurant - horrible. They tell me to call UPS to see what happened with the package. Me? The customer who pays for the service? I am speechless how ignorant and how not helpful the company is.

My iPhone 12 was stolen, had to call multiple times to let them know it wasn't lost. The last lady I spoke to when I received my new iphone 12 replacement was supposed to activate my service but instead ended up unblocking my old stolen iPhone 12s IMEI number! Horrible service. I hope I never have to go through this hassle/problem again!

Assurant asked me to review a recent transaction with them concerning a phone replacement. I've had to use them in the past with 6 kids with devices as well as my own with no issues. This time around my son had dropped his J7 prime and broke it to where it wouldn't work at all. Even being an older phone I've kept the insurance on it. It seems they don't make that model anymore so assurant sent a replacement that ended up being an upgrade. A Samsung a51. It IS a newer, more capable and compared to the new price of the j7 more expensive. This to me is the epitome of great customer service. Rather than trying to find the lowest comparable replacement or going to a device that would be considered inferior, he got a bit of an upgrade. It was very fast as always too. I submitted the claim on a Saturday I believe and it was shipped and we got it 2 days later. I sent the old one back in the prepaid envelope no muss no fuss.

I dropped my S10+ phone and cracked the screen on 11.13.2020. I went to the Assurant's website immediately to file a claim. During this claim process, the site did not locate an ASC within 100 miles of my location, so I had to pay a deductible for a replacement phone. Well, I received an email that there's a delay with the replacement device during the weekend. I waited until Monday to call and get a status update. When I called, I was told that they the replacement device could take up to 2 weeks. So I asked if they could cancel the claim, and let take the phone to get the screen replaced. I was told no and that I would have to wait on the process.
A few days later, I received a voicemail stating that they do not have the phone, and I would have to pay for a new phone out of pocket and they would reimburse me up to the amount I paid for the original phone. Reluctantly, I purchased a new S20+ plus from a local Xfinity store, and then submitted the receipt 3 different times to Assurant for me to reimburse me. I even returned the original phone to them via Fedex and was told by someone via Chat that I would receive a check within 10 business days. This took place on 11.27.2020.
I reached out to Assurant just now for an update, and now I'm being told that I was misinformed about the process, and that I have to wait an additional 3-5 business after the 10 business days before the check is mailed. This has been the most unprofessional experience that I've received from a company. No one can give me an honest answer as to why I've been given the wrong information, and I strongly believe that they dropped the ball and really don't care about a paying customer's experience. Meanwhile, I followed their process to purchase a new phone yet I'm stuck with the expense. This is not right and is unfair.

My entire purse was stolen when my phone was stolen. I sent all of the identification I had. I was told it would work on the phone. Then was rejected several times. Even when I emailed everything I had it was rejected. I finally got my replacement id. Which took 3 weeks and it was rejected twice! Then once the process finally goes through, I was reassured that I would receive the same phone and color. I was EXTREMELY disappointed to not receive the right color. As I had grown really fond of the Aura Glow. This new phone doesn't hold a charge very long either. I have been disappointed with Assurant once before about my smartwatch and Tmobile doesn't really help in rectifying it without shoveling out more money. It's frustrating to be paying for something that doesn't really help, and sends refurbished products with them having issues.

Lousy. Absolutely lousy. The first replacement device didn't work. The second replacement device has a big streak in the screen. For the amount of money Assurant charges this is completely unacceptable. I'm really mad. They should reimburse me for the hours I've spent on the phone, and driving to and from FedEx to ship the non-functioning devices they sent me. What's really infuriating is the note in the box saying how my replacement device was checked and double checked. That's obviously a bunch of garbage.

When I filed the claim the Metro person used the wrong IMEI number for the claim. So the replacement device was blocked. The device for my second line was blocked and for 10 days I have been without a phone. Now I have to send the replacement back, wait another 10 days, file a new claim and wait again for a new replacement device. Your customer support team sucks because you guys locked my phone but you can unblock my phone for 3 days which turned into 5 days and yes this problem started on the 5th and today is the 14th and I'm still blocked from using my phone. Your service is crap. Your team members basically called me a liar. Then lied to me on me getting my phone unblocked and refused to help. I will never pay or use this service again. I would rather pay the 350.00 for a new phone than waste my time and almost lose my job dealing with this company.

My phone broke on Saturday morning and I was advised could not get replacement till Tuesday which is unacceptable. In the past they would next day air phone to me, need phone for work and cannot go without, went and found a used phone & purchased Sunday so I could conduct business.

I filed a claim for a new phone and NEVER RECEIVED IT even though I was told by your company it would get here in 48 hours. You did take a payment that you had no problem with that. Quick services, package delivered on time. Went to T-Mobile store. Got good service plus were able to get another phone. The person who service me were very generous, polite and understanding. I will recommend T-MOBILE service. Service is good where I live. Bad service in Welsh, Louisiana. Service goes in and out or connection drops.

I didn't know I had to pay FedEx to ship the phone back knowing they said I didn't have to pay. So I think that people needs to that they have to pay when they sends their old phone back. So that was very hard to do cause I didn't have the money to do that. Thank God that I had some coins in my car to pay FedEx just to ship my phone back.

It took almost 2 weeks to get my phone due lack of communication. They never called and said the needed more information. I hadn’t to call when I realized there was no tracking number sent. Then there was no call to charge the card I gave them days before. I again called to see what my phone was supposed to arrive and was told it was not sent out. The rep said that someone was supposed to call for Authorization to use the card on file. Filed the claim on the 24 of November received the phone the 7th of Dec. unacceptable. My husband owns a business and lost out on thousands of dollars.

Company just send refurbished phones to replace even brand new phones. T-MOBILE should have their own insurance program. Paid $99 deductible plus $18 a month is excessive to receive a so called guaranteed refurbished phones.
The deductible amount is dependent on your phone's make and model. Without the coverage, you would have to pay the full retail price to replace your phone. We cover the majority of the cost of the replacement device, and the deductible would be your portion. We apologize if you were not informed that the replacement device may be refurbished. My replacement phone was a different phone than I had and it's not even part of Metro inventory and does sell them as they have been discontinued and I have been mislead by the Assurant phone insurance company and replacement phone doesn't work right and I have been talking to supervisor and put me on hold for hours without ever help me with. Want me to send the replacement phone back to them and leave me without a phone and lose my phone number that I've had for years.

Almita was very cordial and helpful during my initial call to open the claim for my damaged phone. Received the unit the next day. The replacement unit was different than what I originally had (they don't make the model anymore), so I got a new model that I am still learning about. There was no charger included so I had to buy separately. I'm looking online for instructions. All the people I spoke with were professional and helpful. Overall I was satisfied.

I wish they would have shipped my phone in 2 day like they said. They shipped it and it arrived 4 days later and it was another model. I wish they could have called me and asked me about my phone not being available. Even though they replaced with newer model it is much smaller than my S9.

I put in a claim for my battery draining fast, got my replacement device and before I could transfer my info to the replacement it broke. The screen went black with a pink/purple line going down the side. I got another replacement and in about a week that one went bad. Battery wasn't keeping a charge. So I got another replacement and that one went bad also. This last one I got when I made a phone call or received a call the person on the other end couldn't hear me or they heard static or echoes. I put in like 4 or 5 claims because the "REFURBISHED" phones are junk. I keep asking for a new phone because I bought my phone new and made all my payments on time. And when I have to put in a claim because my "REFURBISHED" phone breaks and I get another one I have to take time out to transfer everything over which is something I shouldn't have to do because I should have been sent a new phone. It's ridiculous that I have to go through that.

Assurant is a absolutely garbage company and their employees lack any sort of knowledge especially their supervisors who approve claims, you guys need to research that when you purchase online from Samsung they don't put IMEIS on their receipts. I had a claim before and provided my online order with NO IMEI and they approved but this time it was generally like they were basically saying I was lying I purchased the device. Horrible company, horrible customer service, won't reach back out to you to call you back. Tmobile deserves a better insurance company.

Tmobile transferred to Assurant to process the claim. I attempted to use the online claims form because the recording requested as they are experiencing long wait times. Online was unable to process so I talked to an agent. The agent said they could not process, to call tmobile. I waited 2 hours to talk to mobile. They said there was nothing wrong and waited on the line while I called assurant. The agent then asked me a bunch of questions then directed me to finish it online. The tmobile rep asked why she couldn't finish it since we already had them on the phone because I already had problems with the online claim. The agent verified my address and information then transferred me to make the deductible payment. Total time to file the claim was 2 1/2 hours, not including the 2 hour wait prior to being transferred to assurant the first time. I really did not feel like the assurant agents gave me good care.

I've called about the first replacement device which was PINK instead of BLUE. TWICE you've sent a PINK device instead of a BLUE device. A call and note was placed to the warehouse about a PINK phone being received instead of BLUE.

I lost my phone and I had to get a new phone. My experience was great. Everything went well far as customer service. The only complaint I have is if I’m paying insurance every month and this is my 1st time getting a new one why did I have to pay $200 to get another one?? That is crazy and I needed my phone and had to borrow money. Y’all should change this Because it was unfair.

Company Marketing material states 24 hours to approve a claim. 3 days after filing was still approved so called and was told “it can take up to 72 hours) which would have been that day. 2 days later still not approved so called again and finally got it approved 5 days after filing. Company info also stated the phone would be shipped overnight and arrive the following day. It arrived two days later. Also Assurant materials states it was $99 deductible for the replacement phone. Was charged $175. SUCH LIES! WASTE OF TIME!! Will cancel policy and just buy a refurbished phone for cheaper and faster. Would have given ZERO stars if that was option.

A big reason for the delay was I would get told to do something by the assurant rep and still get denied after I had done exactly what they asked.

It not as simple as it seems, I had to send a copy of my DL in order to process my claim in a special format and it still needs to go into review. Having insurance does not seem to be worth it, and you can not talk to anyone everything needs to be done online.

Honestly, I was not satisfied with Assurance because my Son’s phone can’t be changed out because he was using my old Iphone7 phone during this pandemic. And to tell me that is upsetting especially during this pandemic. There is a large section of the bottom left of the screen that goes unresponsive from time to time. It is right over the keyboard, so that is very less than ideal. If the screen is off, you can visibly see the spot where the glass was not properly glued down. The volume keys are very sticky and also unresponsive.

The website to file claims needs revamp when it comes to entering a phone number when an account has multiple phone numbers, it’s not specific. The text message will need to go to a device that receives text. It wasn’t easy to start over if the number was incorrect. Otherwise it was smooth process after I made automated call and resumed online to complete.

Iphone was broken and the replacement process was easy. Placed the claim online and the phone was sent out quickly. The return was also easy with just replacing the old phone in the box. I had a little frustration in the beginning because I did not have a Tmobile pin but the customer service representative helped tremendously.

I lost my phone on Saturday November 28 and filed a claim on the phone with a representative. He took all my info and said that I was supposed to receive an email to upload proof of identification. I never received the email so I called back again on Tuesday and spoke to another person. They told me it takes time to receive the email and also for them to ship out the phone. So days go by and on Wednesday I ask my daughter to check online and turns out they never filed my claim and I had to do it on my own and wait another extra 2 days for my phone to arrive. I was very upset and annoyed that I had to wait a week to a get new phone when I'm paying insurance for a reason and especially since my phone is something important. It's what I use to communicate and go everywhere so I had a hard time with this.

Overall very disappointed. Received not only a phone which was not identical to my original device but it was also someone else's used (reconditioned) phone not a new replacement phone. Overall I was very pleased. The only thing I would have them do different is at the end after you've filed your claim they ask you to call. I completely forgot about that and my claim was not actually processed until I called. I would suggest they do a follow up call. The payment is processed almost immediately and this just avoids any further delays in getting your new device.

I received a device to replace a device that was damaged. When I went to activate the replacement device the IMEI number was already assigned to an account that is not mine. I contacted the office and was instructed to send the replacement phone back with the provided return label. The replacement device was mailed out on 11/27/2020 and it is now 12/8/2020 and I am still waiting on a working replacement phone and have been using the damaged phone. I paid the deductible and I pay the premium for your insurance program and yet I am still using a damaged device. I am not happy with your service and I am considering canceling your insurance based on this poor experience with your company.

I requested a replacement on a broken S20 phone. Four days later, I received a S20+ that was a different color than my phone. While I appreciate the "free" upgrade, it really wasn't a free upgrade. I didn't want that big of a phone, I didn't want that color. The insurance payments went up due to the phone and I had to purchase all new accessories i.e. phone case, cover, etc for it as it was not the same size. I was not thrilled, it would have been nice to be notified in advance. Calling in to the representative, she was not nice and she gave me no options it was like this is what you get and that's it.

I fell and dropped my phone. The girl I spoke to on the phone to transfer my data from my old phone to the replacement (who was working from home) was phenomenal!! Originally, I went into the T Mobile store on West Sahara/Cimarron. The employee didn't even try to help me. All he did was take out the SIM card from the old phone and put it in the new one. He didn't even try to do the transfer. He said that was all he could do. He was very rude. If it weren't for the young lady on the phone, I would have considered switching phone companies...So kudos to your people working at home. Poor service in the T Mobile store. Please recognized the employee that helped me. She was professional, knowledgeable and kind!!

Had to get a replacement for my grandson broken phone. It was one of the worse experience I ever had with a company. It took days, kept getting runaround, talked to so many different people, all told me something different then the only way I could get in touch with someone was on the chat.

When my phone fell out of my pocket and landed face down on the parking lot, the day before Thanksgiving, I was afraid it would take a long time to repair or replace so I waited until Friday to file. You sent me a different phone than the one I'm replacing. I claimed a Google Pixel 4a 5g (128gb) and you sent me a Samsung Galaxy 8+ (64gb). So not only a phone that doesn't have 5g but also half of the data space. At the very least you could've contacted me asking if the galaxy s8 was an acceptable replacement. Your online system said my son's address did not exist so did not ship the phone to him but I was not notified there was a problem. Now the upgrade credit promotion I was trying to take advantage of is over because of the delay and I can't afford his new phone with the deductible I spent to get a working phone to trade in. This is a huge ripoff and I will never insure a phone again.

The 1st 3 weeks NO ONE person explained clearly they could take an Image from my Serial # from phone's screen and just attached it to my original receipt. The phone was not the international version as original, I don't even know if I can use the new phone you guys sent with a different company within the US. Very disappointed.

Only issue was not being told my claim wasn't fully completed as payment was not completed online. There was no email or anything saying payment wasn't processed. I was under the impression everything was done. It delayed my order several days until I called and asked why claim hadn't processed. After that everything went quick and smoothly as expected.

I was not happy with the claim process procedure. I called the phone number and talked to an agent that took my information and as we were finishing she said that I had to make the payment on my end rather than her connecting me to the line to make the payment. She said I had to answer a text for me to make the payment and I never received the payment link and I was hung up on by rep. I had to callback and go through process again with new person that was helpful rather than first agent.

CPR that handled the screen replacement did a great job. Timely and fixed right the first time with no issues. My issue is the high deductive charged ($175) for just the screen replacement. I didn’t replace a phone, just a damaged screen. For as much as we pay for monthly insurance to charge $175 for a screen fix and it’s not even a new phone is way too much. If I had another option, I’ll use it next time.

Well, when I lost my iPhone 5, I figured I was covered to receive a replacement phone, since I had damaged my previous iPhone 5 and it was replaced with a 5. Because it happened the day before Thanksgiving, the replacement phone took five days to arrive—not the overnight that was promised. This is why I've never disconnected my landline; you never know. Also, I didn't expect to get an iPhone 7, and had ordered the wrong case; that needs to be sent back. There's an appropriate case in transit, which should arrive in a few days. All in all, this was a satisfactory—if frustrating—exchange. All's well that ends well.

I find it extremely unpleasant that I was robbed at gunpoint and my phone was taken from me at gunpoint and still was made to have to pay for the deductible. I would have understood had I dropped the phone and it was damaged or left the phone in car and was taken or left some place and it was taken.

I pay my cell phone provider $180/yr on 2 separate phones for Assurant cell phone protection plan. Screen cracked on one phone & they tell me there's nowhere in this area to bring my phone to be fixed for the $29 coverage shown in my policy. Keep in mind I am in a very highly populated area between Fort Lauderdale and Miami Florida. I am forced to send my phone in to be repaired and pay a $99 deductible. Not only will I be without a phone for 9 to 11 days but paying a much higher rate than I'm supposed to. I feel I am being scammed and wish that my cell phone provider did not have this company for protection I feel I am being scammed and wish that my cell phone provider did not have this company for protection.

Terrible treatment. In over 6yrs I carried this insurance this was my 1st claim. Got lots of running around by constantly denied my claim by asking for more documenting that I didn't have. They dragged me to the mill. On my next new device I will refuse to buy insurance for Asurant. Not mentioning the constant premium cost increases. They are the worst.

The replacement phone had a chip in the bezel. The bezel also feels weird like it has a sharp edge I assume because of aftermarket display replacing whatever the phone had before and not being the exact same size. And the sim card wasn't the right size. The sim card YOU sent didn't fit the phone YOU sent. The online form process wasn't easy either. All in all I'm not happy with the replacement. But I'm happy to have my phone replaced. It's in an otterbox case now which is difficult to put on and take off. Otherwise I'd send a pick of the nick in the bezel. It's on the left side by the bixby button.

One thing that did confuse me was when all was done I was notified that I had used two claims and to contact T mobile to find out about any further claims. Assurant increased the customers' premiums 110% without notifying customers. Unfortunately I noticed 3 months later after reviewing my MetroPCS autopay statements. Imagine the monthly gains on 500k phones which is the equivalent to 3.5 million dollars/month. Has anyone noticed? Don't let them rob you especially during this COVID-19 time.

I was very disappointed at first with me having to pay a deposit on the new phone, as I was VERY careful with my phone & took good care of it. No drops or water damage. Also, the lady at the local store was not much help on helping me to choose if I wanted to upgrade the new phone to something different or just reorder the same phone. I ended up just choosing the same phone.
Once I logged in online, I filed the claim very easily. I also received the new phone very quickly. I took it to my local store & a worker helped me set it up. He had great customer service & very helpful. The new phone seems to be more updated than my previous phone which is weird because they are the same phone, but I like it & realize that may be why the original died so quickly. Seems like a bad Apple phone & not user issues.

I thought I had a cracked screen. Got a replacement and went to T-Mobile to get the new SIM card put in and help in switching phones. Turned out that only my screen protector was cracked. Also I tried to put in the claim online but it was complicated in that it said I could save my info and continue later. When I tried that it wouldn’t let me move forward from where I was at so had to call for help.

I want to make it clear that the issues here were the fault of nonsensical Assurant policies, not the customer service reps who were unfortunately bound by them. I needed a replacement for a Pixel 4 that died. This Pixel 4 was bought at Amazon. Assurant asked me to provide the receipt, so I sent them the Amazon invoice. They rejected it because it didn't have the IMEI number on it. Amazon doesn't track the IMEI number of phones they sell.
I talked repeatedly to customer service reps who could only tell me that I needed to get the "IMEI receipt" which doesn't exist. I sent them pictures of the box that had the IMEI, that was rejected as well. In the end, Assurant only replaced my phone because I called Amazon customer support and had them generate me a custom receipt. They were baffled as to why they had to do this. They couldn't even provide the IMEI themselves, I had to read it to them. This was one of the stupidest exercises I have ever had to endure. This only got two stars because when I finally jumped through the hoops of absurdity, they did actually replace my phone. It just took two weeks, several hours on hold, and a portion of my sanity to get it.

I expected T-Mobile to replace the screen but was told the screen replacement insurance had expired and they would not replace it. I received no notice that any insurance had expired and am still paying the monthly premium. I would strongly recommend you do not purchase their insurance. It seems worthless.

We went to T-Mobile Store and we find out my phone was broke and the the Lady said we can use our Assurant to replace my phone so I called the Assurant and apply for replacement. Then the lady said it's on process. Now then I received a email that its said wait for email once approve but I never receive any email so I called again the Assurant to follow up my concern and the lady check my status and said that if I want replacement for my broke Galaxy Note 9 I need to pay $99 cash or using credit card. So I agree and then the lady transfer me to automatic voice about paying the $99 and then another day we received the replacement of my phone. It was nice and new the replacement, I'm happy that it’s worth it to get Assurant if your phone is expensive. So I recommend go apply.

On 11-17-20 I made a claim. Two hours later I canceled the claim. Said they would process the return then two days later I received notification they still took out the money. Called. They said it would be a 3-10 business day return. Here it is 12-3-20 and just received an email saying they processed my claim and now have to wait yet another 3-10 business days.. Horrible customer service and even talked to a “supervisor” who didn’t show any care that I would have no money with thanksgiving in the same week because they still took out the money when it was canceled and took this long to finally approve of it coming back to me.. Also was cheaper for me to get a new phone rather than paying the deductible..

I am now in the process of returning my second Replacement Device!! The 1st one was new and there was a chip and imperfection underneath the glass on the screen. The second one was refurbished which I had to update from a version 4 and even though it said on the paperwork it was a 128G it said there wasn’t enough space on the RD to do the transfer when I have plenty of space. 80G left on my current damaged device. I am beyond DISGUSTED. The agents however have been great. I feel I should be compensated with a NEW and an upgraded device WITHOUT BEING CHARGED! I have been with T-Mobile for so many years. It’s ridiculous that something as simple as this especially for the price I pay for the plans and insurance on 3 devices. VERY VERY UNHAPPY!!!!

My phone with damage and they sent me every placement phone. Replacement phone wasn't upgrade since the one I had was no longer continued. Everything went smoothly. All the searches involved with the process help me get my phone timely.

I went to the repair shop and they had no record of my claim to get my phone repaired. Called Assurant to get the issue resolved. I was transferred to my phone carrier. The carrier referred me back to Assurant. I had to speak to two more before finding out there was nothing that can be done that day to fix the issue. I was told to go back in three days. The whole process was extremely frustrating. I was in a store for two long hours on the phone with Assurant to be told nothing can be done. With COVID-19 there is no way I should of been at the repair location trying to resolve a issue that should have not been an issue. WORST SERVICE EVER!

Phone fell out of my pocket into the street, didn't realize it for a bit and it was ran over by a car. Fantastic service, I received the replacement in two days. Thank you to all involved. Happy holidays.

Worse experience. I spent $100 dollars as a “deductible” to be sent a phone that not even the Apple team could figured out. Contacted Assurant only to be told that I could not get a new one until the disgusting equipment was sent back and received is when they would send a new phone. Assurant thought it would be ok for me to be without a phone for a week, obviously that couldn’t be because I need my phone to work so I spent another $150 fixing the one that had to be replaced. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!

You charge me pretty much $100.00 for a replacement phone. Send me a dud phone that does not work. So I had to contact you about resending the what was supposed to be MY NEW PHONE back to get yet AGAIN another new phone. Whats worse is I am still here without a useable phone. Had to pay money you money because you WILL NOT send the other replacement phone onrher you receive your crappy phone back. Great customer service... with extreme SARCASM...

Your services was acutely poor, your staff lied to me regarding the time of the process, they then lied about when the results would be forthcoming. IT took (7) seven days to secure the phone. Even as I was told it would take 2 days or overnight. But most aggravating was that they had me waiting for your services, but did not - would not let me know there was a problem in the shipping. I just had to get the hell out of this company. Very aggravating. J. **
