The customer service reps have been extremely friendly and helpful, however my device has not been received 13 days later. It has started moving twice and stopped in transit with Fedex. I would demand better service considering this was a "next day" package.

I placed my claim since the 2/12/21 and today is Monday the 22nd. I still have not received my device. I have never experience so much trouble through an insurance company to get my phone replaced. It’s been too many days and it’s my worst experience.

I unexpectedly dropped my new GS21 Ultra right few days after the purchase. Unfortunately I didn't have the phone protection cover at the time. It resulted a hair crack on the screen. I was lucky to have ASSURANT protection plan on my phone. They replaced it without giving me a hard time. Thanks!

I called on 2/12/21. I was supposed to get the phone the following Tuesday - 2/16/21. I'm still waiting. Why did it go from York, PA to Memphis, TN? I live in NJ. As I asked several times - wasting my time on the phone to get nowhere. My phone cuts me every time I have to use it! I need it. I can't for the life of me find out why I just couldn't get a brand new phone from Xfinity!! It was 2 weeks old! If I get a refurbished phone, it will be returned and so will my money. I don't pay for something brand new to get something used. I pay insurance for a reason. I would not recommend any person to either company. I have been told nothing - EXCEPT, "IT'S NOT UP TO US.. WE CAN'T GIVE YOU A REPLACEMENT THROUGH XFINITY!" Bull- If I bought a new car, my warranty is with that car company. I won't accept a refurbished phone!!

I know there are 2 options on these operations: a new device or refurbished device, but according my experience on this and before claims, I think that the insurance company never send a new device.

I have been waiting for my replacement Samsung S10+ cell phone for a week and counting. I have not been able to use my cell phone and paid $99.00 dollars automatically. I believe a person should not be charged for a replacement cell phone until him or her has received a replacement cell phone.

I still have not received replacement device. Yet I am supposed to send the device to be replaced by 2/24/21 to avoid $1500 charge "per Assurant email received on 2/14/21. I am Overall dissatisfied with this simple replacement device process, and this only adds to the dissatisfaction with spectrum mobile.

I never received the phone I ordered. Been checking the mail every day for a week and nothing. I had to pay more than normal because insurance went up and still no phone. The number I was given to track it didn't work either.

The online process was fine when I began my claim. However, when I received my replacement I discovered that I was given a device that was 2 tiers below what I had claimed.. I claimed and returned a LG VELVET 5G 128gb.. I received a Google Pixel 3A LTE 64gb.. It's like I went backwards with my devices when the goal was to upgrade to a nicer quicker phone.. now because of my Assurant plan this is what I was given.. lose money!!

I still have not received my replacement phone. I get weather played a factor but this has been very inconvenient. I worry my phone won't last. One more drop and I will be without a phone. I would not recommend this to anyone and am considering switching service.

It took almost a week to get a replacement device. If you select a return option (upgrade/same device) it will not let you change your choice on the website. Calling in led to multiple dropped calls. They ask for a return call back number in case you're disconnected but they don't use it. According to one rep that's only for management use. I had to have a TMobile rep on the line to not have the call 'accidentally dropped' which is suspicious. Then that rep Assured me repeatedly that my device would be here the next day, insisted I did not need to be transferred to a supervisor to verify as I told her I know the deadline and all of the dropped calls put us past the deadline. Oh no internally they have more time and it'll be here next day. Nope.
They didn't pull the order to be shipped until the next day and I had to wait another day for my phone. This should have been a straightforward process and they made it as complicated as it could be. Be SURE which option you want before you select since you cannot change you mind. And if you're going to call be prepared for 'accidentally' dropped calls and no call back.

My phone was lost, then found it with a smashed screen. I called Assurant and in about 5 minutes, my replacement was on the way. I sent back the old phone after transferring data and wiping the phone. Done!

My wife did the claim. But she said it was much quicker and easier than expected. BUT. I dropped the replacement phone on the floor struggling to open the card door. The screen is cracked several places now. I guess we'll be sending g in a new claim.

It was done very professional and easy, no problems. REPRESENTATIVE was knowledgeable and made my claim simple to get my phone replace. It took not much time and my phone arrive in a few days, slight delay due to winter storm.

I had such a wonderful expedient experience. The filing claim section was fast and easy with such a quick approval. The delivery was quicker than I actually expected but still had all I expected. Although I did appreciate the thing screen protected that came including and has helped me avoid scratches on the actual phone. I would have loved if a claim for my screen protector on file to have also been added. Buts it's no real biggie, it's a quick fix just running to my nearby T-Mobile. Shipping my old device was a swift and quick process and I loved that the tracking shipment was available so I could confirm that the phone would be safe on its way.

Unfortunately I didn't make my insurance claim until after the cut off Friday but, the replacement device was to be sent Monday, I should have received that on this past Wednesday, 2/17/2021 but, somehow, a $1,500+ device just gets stuck in Tennessee because FedEx has simply been crippled by what, 2 inches of snow! It's now 4+ days late and FedEx blames you, Spectrum blames you, you blame FedEx so, in this scenario, is it believed your company is worthy of more than one star? Assurant so be embarrassed.
At this point, do I buy FedEx excuse that the so-called winter storm is to blame or is my device just gone? I manage delivery drivers for a restaurant, 23 locations, numerous employees but yet, we still deliver as is expected and our franchise with 23 locations is nowhere near the size or financially back corporation as FedEx. This is ridiculous! I want replace what I paid to have insured and I'm simply not going to just sit back and let it be believed that customers can just be screwed because it's said we will and "who is going to do anything about it?" I know this will go nowhere, I'm not ignorant but, don't believe for a second I would EVER suggest a friend or family member to use your company

Went to metro to find out what to do. Was told to call and I did and they sent a replacement out while I was on the phone. I received my new phone the next day and I sent my old phone back to them. I got charged 22.00 to change my sim card. But that was the only cost. I had that phone for one day and it got water in it and they replaced that one also no problem. I did not have to pay for that one to get turned on. Very happy customer. Thank you t mobile.

My grandson either lost his phone or it was stolen. They approved my claim right away and sent another phone right away. I did it all online so no waiting on the phone. The replacement phone was easy to set up and activate. It works great.

Pay $10/month to cover cost of replacing phone only to find out I have to pay an additional $99, and phone still has not arrived. I’ve been paying $10/mth for 5yrs so I’m sure I’ve earned a new phone without having to pay additional $. Where is new phone?!

I had an approval code on February 12th. Said it was sent out. There was problems in the weather in Texas. I have called and talked to Assurant many times this past week and it was supposed to be sent out whenever the warehouse was going to be reopened. I still don't have another claim number. The claim number that I'm using to login on tracking says that same information and UPS does not have that number. So I'm having problems getting my phone. Need help. I've stay on the phone for hours each day that I call or an hour or so.

Assurant was great. The only problem was FedEx and the weather. I received my cell a week later 2/19/2020. It was horrible waiting. Thank you for the cell replacement. I'm still trying to switch over to new phone.

Initially someone missed a note and it staked. I contacted them by phone and 2 days later the replacement was here. Once the idiot was corrected The service was prompt and I received the replacement phone quickly. It was more than timely. I received a phone that was a higher model which was awesome.

I filed the claim on 2/02/2021 but didn’t receive the phone until 02/12/2021. I paid the amount and somehow that payment never went through but I was never notified. I was waiting on a phone that was never processed. I received the phone 02/12/21. Terrible service. Terrible communication on how the claim process works or goes.

This order took over a month and Assurant said I was still not covered and that I needed to call T-Mobile. Which I did and they assured me I was covered and they called Assurant and stayed on the line while the order was processed. Even then the Assurant representative made it sound like it was my fault with a very bad excuse about how many phones I had creating the confusion. All my phones are covered so he lied. Now, I understand the weather in the south is playing a factor in delivering items, but this overnight delivery was approved 10 days ago and we've still not had a phone but I've been paying the bill since December like we had a working phone. I see other deliveries being made. Pretty disappointed right now.

The new phone is working good, but I noticed it's a lower grade of the old one. Some very vital applications I need for my day to day work cannot be downloaded from Google play store on this phone. E.g ADP, HHAexchange, etc.

I am still waiting on my replacement, this company never told me they needed additional information. One week later after I contacted them, they finally processed the order. It was approved. This was on Thursday, February 11, 2021, it should have shipped overnight. To date I have not received. Now due to winter storm it’s stuck in Austin TX. But they did process my payment overnight!

I submitted the application and it wasn't accepted for 4-5 days. I called Assurant to see why it was not accepted or processed and they couldn't tell me, but got it processed. "Next day" shipping ended up being promised to me for 5 days later on February 16th. It is now the 20th and no sign of this new phone.

When I first called to make a claim I spoke to someone and asked if the Note 8 would be new and the rep said yes. I proceeded to continue with the claim and upon arrival I got 1 new and 1 refurbished. I don't want a refurbished phone and since been getting the run around. Very poor service since and the amount of money paid for this insurance I could of bought 2 new phone to get a used phone is a smack in the face!! If I could give 0 Stars I would... This is a rip off!!

Assurant did a fine job in getting me the replacement iPhone. The only problem with the phone is in using the Bcc in emailing. I have gone through many sessions with Apple Support, who even sent the issue to Apple Engineering, to try to solve this problem, but as yet no success.

It's very nice experience with Assurant mobile protection. They are so kind to send me the shipment immediately within 2 days. They always give best replacement device and it takes very few effort to transfer the data to the new device. I appreciate their hard work.

Filing the claim was easy and the replacement phone arrived the next day. Upon receiving the phone I was somewhat disappointed that the phone was refurbished as the phone she lost was new. However it looks new and seems to function properly! Once we get it set up again it'll be ok!

The process itself for the replacement phone was easy and efficient. However, although the phone order was placed by 11am, it took 2 days to actually receive it. The claim that if we placed the order by 8pm the phone would arrive the next day was not accurate. Weather was not a factor.

Quick! No hidden last minute fees. I was skeptical when the guy at the counter gave me a number to call to make the claim. I thought it was gonna be a headache, and I'd end up cursing people out. But no! It was painless, easy, the replacement came a day later. I paid deductible and that was it.

I sent my broken phone back in mailer provided and apparently it was never received and I never got notice of it. The reason I found out was a 1000$ phone bill. I am livid about the lack of notification. It took months to find this out. I am livid I might have to pay a 1000$ phone bill for my item that may have been stolen from post box. I doubt the post office will even help. It was months ago and it feels like everyone is pushing me off to someone else. Money is tight for pretty much everyone right now and this is an awful experience for my family.

It was easy, short and sweet. I dropped the phone. The glass cracked. I didn't know what I could do. It was devastating. I can hardly move my screen with my fingers. Would drag across the crack wood cut my fingers sometimes then I just decided to go ahead and file a claim with Assurant and boy they got taken care of lickety split apologizing

I was tripping because I didn't recommend replacement cell for days later but it wasn't your fault...mother nature was present and the weather slowed everything down. But, when I received the cell I was a little overwhelmed because there were lots of paperwork and I didn't know what to do but when I looked at the instructions and just had to change the card...I felt embarrassed but relieved. It was soooo simple and I would recommend Assurant to everyone.

My experience with Assurant was perfect. It took only 1 phone call and that phone call was all about what I needed. The lady I spoke to was kind, easily understood and very professional. She explained everything so I could understand and took the time to make sure everything was correct before the phone call ended. I am very satisfied. Absolutely glad I had Assurant!

My phone fell broke, I went to T-Mobile and they told me how to make a report at Assurant.com so I did it, I received a new phone at my home door two days after making the report, I went back to T-Mobile so they help my transfer to my new phone information; contacts and pictures. Then I sent my old broken to Assurant in a prepaid envelope. Now I am very happy with my new baby (Phone). The service was superb. Thank you Assurant..!

I had received a damaged replacement phone and it was so complicated to return it. I was transferred the insurance then to Apple. It was just way too much. It took me 4 days to follow up with my claim and successfully returned my item.

Assurant did not know how to answer the following questions about the recertified LG Stylo 6 they sent me:1. What is the warranty on this phone? Something about a 90 limited warranty - so phone only good for 90 days? 2. How much was this phone worth? It may not even be worth my time to track down the guide book - which doesn't come with phone. I was told to go to Xfinity - not available. Then to LG where the LG guy couldn't find at first so he dug and found one to e-mail me. 3. No charger with phone and since I don't know what the price of the phone is don't know if even worth the price of new charges that I have to buy - even tho insurance pamphlet leads you to believe you will receive - you don't.
Assurant guy first said no chargers - then one was being sent - then they were out of chargers. In all cases I was told to go to Xfinity to get all info. When I went to Xfinity and told them all this they shook their heads and seemed a little mad that Assurant pushed everything off on them. They had no idea about any of this. I wasted a large amount of time on all this nonsense. I am going to try and get Xfinity to find another insurance company I can use for this awful phone they sent me.

I made the claim on the February 10 and it today I still waiting for the cellphone. I call yesterday and can give me a delivery time because the weather conditions. My concern is that if I don’t send the damage device I hope don’t charge me the 900 dls.

I have not received my new device yet and it has been over a week. All tracking at USPS states is check back tomorrow. I was told I would get the new device a week ago. Frustrating to pay for something and be told you will receive the device and do not. I get being late a couple days but not a week.

The phone arrived and had over 30 viruses on it that the T-mobile store had to remove, there was also porno on the phone. The phone when activated sounds like it is underwater and it is very difficult to hear the person on the phone. Very disappointed in the phone provided. I would not requirement the insurance, waste of money.

Only had this phone for a week. Butterfingers that I am plus arthritis in both hands even with a phone case and a screen protector. When it landed on the ground on some pebbles those little pebbles took it from there. I really should be in a bubble. Lol to be honest.

It has been just over a week since I filed my claim for a replacement phone, the phone shipped 6 days ago, still have not received it. I have been trying to contact someone to help me find my package and/or change the shipping address, but there is no way to contact a person to get help. On the website there is a phone number for "customer service" but when I called the number, it simply gave me the website address.

My son accidentally dropped his tablet and the glass screen shattered in multiple spots. I filed a claim that night and got an email the same night that my claim was accepted, the box to return the broken tablet was shipped to me and the new tablet was also shipped. Everything was done quickly and accurately. When it came in, it was easy for me to set up the new tablet and ship back the old tablet. Very great service and would recommend!

My experience with my insurance claim was not great. There was an issue with getting my claim justified because my phone came from BestBuy as a replacement device where locating the purchase order was very tedious. After approval that took a week, and receiving the replacement device I could tell that the phone was really damaged before it had been repaired and sent to me. Around the camera hump the aluminum strip is very scarred and chewed up, but the front and back glass seems to be new. The temporary screen protector that came on the phone looks like it was a old reused one. See attached pictures for reference.

I filed a claim for a replacement phone. I did not receive my device. I called assistant to remedy the situation. They are now investigating the incident. The phone was delivered to my residence but dropped off outside in front of the main door. I waited all day for the package but I never got it. I do not have a phone now.

I filed the claim on a Friday. The following Monday afternoon the claim was still not approved. I had an online chat with a rep who told me that the reason the claim was yet to be approved was due to them not having any replacement phones in stock and that I would be receiving a call to discuss alternatives. By Tuesday still no call from Assurant. I called customer service and the first rep I spoke to was rude and unhelpful, telling me that the system was down for maintenance. I then immediately called T-Mobile who in turn called Assurant and got a 2nd rep on the phone to help me. She verified to me that they were NOT down for maintenance so that first rep just didn't want to do his job!
Anyway, she asked me to hold and she called, worked diligently to locate a replacement device for me and I had it 2 days later. This was the worst experience I have ever had with Assurant. In the years past with claims I have always received the replacement in less than 48 hours. I pay $16+ a month for this service and things should have been better.

Wonder if insurance is worth having. I didn't drop or break the phone or get it wet which are the questions they asked. Policy has electronic malfunction which has a $0 charge which is what my issue was. If you drop or break then it's 150 to replace. They still charged me 150 to get a replacement phone then it took 3 days to receive after I was told they would overnight it to me. Filed claim on a Tuesday received the phone friday night after 6. The new phone works fine. Still should have fallen under mechanical failure and I shouldn't have had to put 150 to cover the cost. Need phone for my job so had no choice.

On January 28, 2021 I, Steven ** made contact with a representative with Assurant to file a claim. I explained and followed all the steps. However my claim was denied for no reason, no explanation. When I called back a representative with bad attitude Cheer me down and did not want to help. I called on February 2, 2021. Again my claim was denied apparently for one of the EIN number was wrong. After I corrected the problem, the claim was denied a third time, no reason provided. The representative that day, hanged up the phone on me and advised to call T-mobile customer service.
I’ve been with t/mobile for nine years, this was the first time, I filed a claim and probably the last. Due to the way I’ve been treated, I don’t think this company requires more of my business. Although t-mobile managers did a great a job to locate my claim and help me through the process. The representative at Assurant are the worst, I’ve ever came in contact, no empathy, no customer service skills, above all no desire to help. Which push me to ask, are those people were ever trained to handle customer calls.
When someone loses or break their phone, it’s very traumatic and personal, so whoever they talk to should handle the situation with extreme care and attention. I’m afraid to report throughout all the calls I placed at Assurant I did not find none of that. Worst customer service ever. It’s a shame as t/mobile moving up, unfortunately their insurance company going down.

I'm grateful to my customer service agent, he was very helpful and informative. He helped me resolve my issue efficiently with courtesy. The entire process from filing a claim to receiving my replacement was very easy. Everyone was helpful and it was fast. Returning the old/damaged phone was easy and they provided a prepaid mailer envelope which was great.

Paid online but the order was hung up in the system for few days until I placed a call to follow up. Tech did not know why but was able to move the process along. However I did not receive any accessories with the device. Charger, cord, earbuds. My wife was very annoyed.

I called several times since I wasn't refunded for phone I sent back as I recovered my phone. All representatives were giving me different info about refund: "you will receive it when we see order in transit", "when we receive it" or "when it will take 2-3 phone bill cycles". This is not right! Last rep put me on hold and me and credit company was waiting for manager - we never got manager on the line, he just put us in the air. This is scam! Oh and phones you send it's used refurbished phones too not a new one! In case if I would use this option - for 240$ and 18$ every month it could be better at least service! I'm disappointed. I'm going to report you to BBB.

Cracked screen impact damage. Bought phone on Xfinity mobile plan but over 1 year ago and purchased the protection plan. Phone was so damaged I could not use it so I used the protection plan to replace it. They sent me the Samsung A71. Definitely an upgrade. Very pleased.

The battery memory is absolutely terrible. I know it's a refurbished phone however An hour after off the charger from all night Charging. I won't have used it or anything just carrying in my pocket. In the battery Is already down to 85% which is very bad considering the use my phone a lot. It's not even been 12 hours since it came off the charger and I haven't really used it but it's already at 50% before too much time goes by I would like to try to get another phone To replace it.

Twice when I replaced my phone, I got defective phones. First one was blinking and barely turned on and now after a week the battery expended on the plane. Instead of fixing the problem, you just make me pay you another 100$ deductible. You could always send broken phones back and like that make more money!!!!

Received 1st replacement with seal open and when calling to inform customer service was treated horrible and was sent another phone to replace the one with a broken seal and the second phone was a refurbished phone. I bought mine brand new to receive a refurbished after not only paying a monthly service charge but a replacement deductible on top of that. It's like paying for the phone twice.

Getting thru the initial process was ridiculously long and unprofessional. I was on hold for THREE hours. It finally took a conference call with TMobile to get me to speak to someone in person at Assurant about WHAT I WAS PAYING FOR IN MY REPLACEMENT. Making us 'jump through' hoops when we pay for our insurance monthly is unethical. On hold. Not knowing what I'm paying for etc., and rude, helpless reps when one is placing a claim. All online with no one to answer questions.

I really appreciate the service. However when I got my replacement phone, I didn't receive the accurate instructions to switch over. The instructions said to switch the Sim first, and then call a number. That didn't work. I troubleshooted for an hour, drove 40 minutes to get the nearest store, and they gave me the proper instructions. They were amazing. I asked why the pamphlet that came with the new phone didn't have the instructions she gave me. She gave me the "I know, but I can't do anything about it" look and answer, so please update your instructions. I drove back home. In total, it took me around 3 hours to switch my phone. If I had gotten the correct instructions in the first place it would've taken twenty minutes. So, update your instructions please. So no one else goes through this.

My new replacement phone came with 2 cracks and the battery charges up to 100% but once I take it off the charger to use it is already dying and below 50% within the first 5 mins of using it. I called and they do not want to work with me, nothing but a waste of my time over and over again!!

Speed of exchange was good. Help with phone geek was exceptional. From that point all seem to go downhill. Within 24 hours the battery time seemed to fall rapidly even with little or no use. Within forty eight hours I went to use the camera on the phone. I should say what camera because it did not function. Because I need to photograph something I satiated back to my car to get a camera, but wait there was no flashlight function.
I called in and the gentleman said for me to call the next day. So on the 12th I called back and said I was mailing package as I was told. Then was told to call after I mailed it back and wait about an hour. This woman was very nice and kind. Said she understood my frustration. At that time I asked if because of my insurance was there a way to pay for a better phone at a reduced cost because of the one that was sent was not working and was told there was not.
What you need to understand is the phone I had worked well until it got so hot on 3 occasions that I could not hold it and still cannot. Also on one of the times it was so hot when I picked it up that I dropped it into my lap but on the way down it burnt my arm badly and I could not pick up from my lap. I am attaching a photo of the healed area so you may see. Although healed it left a scar as all bad burns do. It has been two days and I have heard nothing from the company since the phone was sent back as they said I would hear from them.

I am very upset, I keep getting the run around between you all and Metro. You all sent me a refurbished phone with no charger so I have no way to charge this phone. I'm so upset. I've been to 4 metro stores and been on the phone at least 5 hrs between you all and metro. I don't understand why I was sent a refurbished phone when I purchased mine new out the box and I'm left still making monthly payments on the phone. So now I have to pay the phone off still but get to use a refurbished phone and left with no charger to charge this damn phone. I'm writing a letter to corporate because nobody seems to want to help me. They know you can only use the charger from the box and don't sell them separately so I have lost photos and money and time.

I got a phone just like it was discussed. I don't believe it is new one but it's better than what I had. FYI check with FedEx before you package up your item to send back. FedEx would not accept the paperboard package that was sent to return it in. But I did keep the box the phone came in and they would take it that way, back in a weather proof bag.

There needs to be an alternative for back ordered devices other than "Buy your own and we'll reimburse you!" The reason we purchased insurance is because we can't just go buy a new phone! Something should be worked out between Assurant and the carrier to remedy this situation in the event this problem arises again!

I filed my first claim last year in 11/2020, over the phone with your representative. He took my phone number to my damaged phone I was reporting to claim, which is **. He assisted me in filing a claim for my damaged phone at the time, my damaged phone IMEI was **. As he took my information and completed my claim rather fast and quickly, I was satisfied at the moment. He informed me once I receive the replacement there will be a return package to ship my damage phone to back to them at Assurant within about 10-15 days. The representative advised I would receive my replacement phone by the next day. All was completed and I finished the call with your representative, I was satisfied with assistance at that moment.
The next day I received the replacement phone with the return package for the return damaged phone as your representative had explained to me. A couple days later I then placed my damage phone (IMEI **) into the return package and mailed out my damaged phone to Assurant as requested. Again, this was for claim #**, submitted back in 11/2020 over the phone with a representative for my damaged phone, ** (IMEI **). Months later, it is now 02/2021, unfortunately now my husband damaged his phone, his number is ** (IMEI **).
A few days ago, I decided to go online and submit my claim online instead of calling like I did the last time. I entered the details including my information, the phone information and entered my credit card details to pay my $49.00 deductible to order my husband a replacement phone. As I thought it would go smoothly as my last claim. I came to the confirmation page and decided to call directly to confirm Assurant received my claim and see when we can expect the shipment of the replacement phone for my husband. So I called. It was Friday, 02/12/2021, the representative pulled my the new claim, claim number ** for my husband's damaged phone, his phone number again ** (IMEI **).
After pulling up my claim and reviewing the representative went on to explain that my claim was on hold. (THIS IS WHERE I REALIZE THE ERROR). She explained that my husband's phone with IMEI ** was the phone IMEI entered in the claim I filed back in 11/2021, they never received that phone and now are charging my T-Mobile bill in the amount of $134.24 for "Assurant Salvage Non Return". So basically the representative I spoke to back 11/2020 for claim #** entered the wrong IMEI, so my damaged phone I mailed back in 11/2020, which the IMEI was ** was received by Assurant; however, since the IMEI did not match the one entered by the representative it was not linked to my claim; therefore, since they didn't know what claim my damaged phone was for they charged me cause they never received my husband's phone with IMEI **, which was not damaged back then.
So now that I am trying to submit a claim on my husband's phone, again IMEI **, the Assurant representative stated she would have to escalate my request which can take 3-5 business days, she said she will not be back until Monday and would not be able to provide me an update until then. I am highly upset, so your representative I spoke with back in 11/2020 entered the wrong IMEI number, he entered my husband's instead of mines. I shipped MY damage phone and you, Assurant keep my damaged phone with IMEI ** that I shipped back. No one (Assurant) ever calls or bothers to look into getting the owner information on the IMEI to see whose damaged phone you all received. It takes months later, that now my husband's phone is damaged (IMEI **) that I inquire about getting a replacement, as I do pay for insurance every month.
I also paid online the deductible; however, my husband is now left without a phone because a mistake taken by your company. I cannot get a temporary phone, no help to get my husband a phone because and error on your behalf. ON TOP OF EVERYTHING, I am being charged for a phone I did return but again you all received it and kept my phone and still are charging me, instead of trying to reach out. I just delivered a newborn baby a couple days ago, and I need to be able to reach my husband in case of any emergencies. I called again today to see if someone can help me; however, the manager stated to call T-Mobile as they would be able to give my husband a loaner phone, and to also asked to place my bill on hold so that they don't charge me the $134.24 until they are able to rectify their error. Your manager then called T-Mobile did not tell me she was not going to be on the line.
I still stayed on the line and then spoke with T-Mobile who advise that was misinformation given to me by your manager at Assurant as T-Mobile does not have any loan phone services or even place a hold on a bill. The T-Mobile representative then offered to call Assurant back with me on the line to correct again misinformation your representative, A MANAGER at Assurant gave to me. The T-Mobile representative were able to speak to another representative at Assurant, she pulled up my account. I then explained AGAIN, to your representative what was going on and explained to her I spoke to Manager before her advising about T-Mobile offering loaner phones and holds on bills. The T-Mobile representative that was on the line with me, then also spoke with your representative letting her know that is wrong information.
The representative at Assurant, advised she can get a manager to speak with the T-Mobile representative and I. She placed us on hold, then came back on the line stating they were all busy but can have the manager call me back. I asked if they will call me back the same day. She advised she will. The call was then ended. This phone call today, Saturday, 2/13/2021 was placed at 3:19PM, I was on the phone the 1 hour, 27 minutes and 42 seconds.
It is now 6:36PM and I have yet to receive a call back. My husband's claim is still limbo and he is still without a phone and I submitted his claim yesterday, Friday, 2/12/2021. I really need someone to resolve this issue as soon as possible. I pay insurance every month, yet I cannot get any help or assistance for something I waste my money on every month. I pay the deductible requested, and cant even get a loaner or some type of assistance in another way as a courtesy for your errors. It is now 2 days my husband is without a phone. I have a new born just a few days old, and now I am worried every time he leaves I would not be able to reach him in case of any emergencies. I am so upset and highly disappointed in your services as a well known company at that too. I really need some better assistance or help.

The iPad was sent to me without the IMEI number being on my Xfinity account. It took several days for the transfer to happen, and I could not use the mobile data on the tablet during that time. It took several very long calls to my Xfinity mobile customer service and a trip to an Xfinity store before the whole issue was resolved and I was eventually able to use it. The process was draining. I suggest looking into a way to partner with the carriers to have the imei number added to the account when it is sent or some other type of safe transfer that is quicker. I had it for 3-4 days unable to use it for the service that I was paying for.

The iphone you sent me quit working 4 days after you sent it to me. The s20 that you also sent me also has problems. It won't hold a charge and it freezes when you use the internet and text come in days after they are sent.

After trying to call several times to file a claim by "phone call" with no success. I finally downloaded the app and filed the claim. It was sooo easy, and wished I had done it much sooner. The phone arrived within a couple of days and I was very happy with the timeline and process!!!

Everything went well. I would've liked to have better instruction on how to transfer my information. It didn't seem that all my photos were transferred Completely. It looks like I lost quite a bit. I opened claim ** on Feb 02, with a T-Mobile rep on the line. Assurant rep verified my device is XS MAX, but I was still shipped the wrong device 9XS. No rep (Nikisha) or spvr (Tracy) and another were unable to resolve the issue. incorrect device was shipped back. I had to get T-mobile on the line and Voila was able to authorize reshipment on the spot, something that the other reps were unable or did not want to do. Poor customer service.

I received my phone several days after the claim was made. I assumed overnight meant next day or 2 days max but that wasn't the case. I would've like to receive it well before Weds considering this weekend is a holiday and I have to have the switch complete by Feb 13th or be charged.

I buy my grandson a phone every 3 months because he's 8 yrs old and loves YouTube. He's also autistic and has meltdowns and his phone gets the brunt of it. Anyway when I have to replace his phone he takes mine. Well, I just started using insurance, it took me 10 days just make a claim, I was told all kinds of excuses. I give the claim 1 star or 0 if I could.

So in Feb 5th I lost my phone. Called and got a replacement Saturday the 6th. Cool awesome job. So I thought. The 7th all the speakers on the phone were gone or fading away, Bluetooth wouldn't connect and there I was losing business call after business call. Job bids lost. So I call and these Jokers want me to send in the phone so I can't monitor my calls and call from another phone to keep business. The hell? So after going to metro store and having them email people on my behalf because they reconnected the phone and witnessed issues we got back the same answer. I was over it. I called back and got supervisor on cause I've been losing money all day. Finally they got me another phone shipped out. Sounds like things are going good right? Yeah so I thought too.
I got me a new used phone the 9th. Well here is the 11th and guess what the replacement for the replacement just started resetting on its own and won't even hard reset. So now we on to phone number 3. Seriously tho how is it that a phone still being sold and I can't get one that works. I've lost over $5000 because they can't do right. For all this all I ask is for a upgraded at least and can't even get that. This is ** sad. Pissed ain't even the word. Not to mention I got 3 jobs to get to tomorrow and all my addresses and phone numbers are in that phone too, being new customers. Worst ever definitely ain't making no recommendations.

I would take that 1 star back and give this so called customer service zero star rating. UPS dropped the ball and gave my package to a random female no verification and thinking she was the customer or so I was told that excuse. The audacity of Assurant basically calling me a scammer stating they needing to investigate up to14 days then Jasmine said 3-5 days...that the best they could do then I could get a new phone sent out even though my $99 was taken out within a few hours of claim. This was no wrongdoing on my side but I got the bad end of this issue and was told to call UPS.
UPS basically called me a liar/scammer because they stated I received my package already so they needed to also do "investigating" up to 10 days. The next morning I got a phone call from ups almost close to the afternoon not when the previous supervisor said 9am. The package was miraculously recovered. Mind you I was livid going through this ordeal because the way I was treated and demanded my package delivered ASAP because I could not be home all day just waiting for the driver to give it to the correct person. She told me a 2 hr window so 2pm latest my package eventually would be delivered.
When I arrived to location I was really upset so a friend of mine got out the car to grab the package. It had no Name, no label and it was open and my phone wasn't in the plastic phone holder. My friend just recently informed me that the female knew it wasn't her package but accepted and opened it anyway which is against federal law. That should be investigated.
Everyone thought the goal was getting this package to me and wash their hands of it. I sent the phone back due to me cautious about COVID possibilities. I found out assurant has that phone so now I have to wait up to 7 days to get a refund. Even though assurant received it in warehouse but not scanned in to expedite my refund so my $99 is still with assurant and those funds I needed. This was an inconvenience to me but nothing can be done. Go figure. This female needs to be prosecuted for opening my package and possibly keep the phone which caused problems to me as the customer and now assurant couldn't/wouldn't honor the refund claim due to the process of COVID procedures even though I got confirmation emailed.

The claims process was very frustrating. Filed online & got message to call, more info needed. Called, no info. Later got a msg more info was needed (id), which I had already submitted. Another message asking for info I already provided (ID). Called & was told it had a glare. Couldn't resubmit or access, said ph# was invalid. Had to call again. Every time I called, I was repeatedly disconnected & had to call back multiple times. It was an exasperating process. After 3-5 days, could not get a status update on claim & had to call again, to find out claim approved. Only THEN did they email me about the approval. I wonder how long that would have taken had I not called. So website not user friendly. Neither is customer service/claims.

It was a great process. Within 48 hours I had a new phone. I truly believe $ 200 is too much to pay for insurance considering I pay a monthly bill. I would like to give 2.5 stars. They should not be charging people a $200 deductible considering we pay a monthly fee to have coverage on our phone each month. That is almost half of my car insurance deductible which is $500 but all in all I got the new phone within 48 hours of the claim.

When I called saying that my phone said it no longer had a sim card but was completely paid each month, agent listened to my question ("what's going on?") patiently. She looked at my account, said I'm entitled to replacement, which was sent out that day. Because the phone is so old, replacement is actually an upgrade! Great, very patient rep.

The screen was busted and couldn't make the website work consistently. I would call to get help and they would help past one hurdle then send me to the website to finish the order. I actually started the process on the 28. My debit card is worn and when we got down to paying then the card wouldn't work because I couldn't read the code. Payment was declined so we tried a pay by check. Because the one charge declined it declined the check. I called and was sent to the website which won't take an e-check. I had one piece of luck and guessed the right. 3 digit code. All in all 4 days to place order then it was the night of the second day after payment that the phone was shipped. Once shipped it showed in 24hrs. I remember when I could call make a claim pay and have a new phone the next day. I didn't use my computer due to my network being down.

I started my claim 1/6/21, it is now 2/10/21 and still nothing. It has just been approved as of 3 days ago. They told me 1/9/21 they were out of my specific device and could make me an offer. The offer was to buy a new phone out of pocket and they would send a reimbursement check minus the $99 deductible. This process was to take 10 days when they made the offer. I bought the replacement device on 1/9/21 and sent in the receipts they required, now they said they couldn't send reimbursement check until they had possession of old device. Keep in mind it's normal to send in the old device but had they had a replacement device for me I would not have been required to do so until I received the replacement device from them.
The old device arrived at their warehouse 1/19/21. They then said they had 10 days to open the box and check it in before sending the claim over to the next department. Seriously? So of course they didn't log it in until 1/29/21. They finally approved my claim 2/7/21. The second they approved my claim they debited $99 from my checking account, which they told me at time of offer would come out of the reimbursement check not my checking account. So I then check online to see why and it says they're sending me a replacement device that I no longer need because a month prior they told me they didn't have one and to buy one and they would reimburse me.
So of course I call and supposedly they are sending a check, although no one at the company can clearly answer if they have sent one or are getting ready to or when I should have one in hand. I should never have had to buy a phone out of pocket when I have insurance. What's the point? They say fast? Really? It's been a frustratingly horrible experience and I'm still waiting to be made whole. I paid for a service they offered and am being punished and charged more because they couldn't honor their promise of service? Seems wrong on so many levels. This company owes me my money.

I placed my order Thursday evening. I thought everything went ok but never heard if it was approved. I waited Friday- Monday for response figuring they weren’t working weekends. Finally Monday I called customer service. I couldn’t speak to a human or get very far on the call because I wasn’t the Named provider on the account. The named provider (my father) works 12 hours a day and the last thing he wants to do is call about a phone that is not his. They told him I put the wrong pin in. I probably typed it wrong on my broken phone or forgotten it by accident. They never told me something was wrong or I put the wrong pin in so I could fix it. Finally they placed my order. The order was supposed to be overnighted but it took 2 days for me to receive it. Good thing my phone screen was just cracked otherwise I would have been phoneless for a week.

I've had tremendously helpful people guide me through the process of getting a replacement iPhone, especially via telephone conversations. They have been so incredibly helpful, I'm very grateful for the information and care they took in helping me navigate this process. The online tools are OK, but there is no replacement for that person-to-person communication that I received through calling a Customer Service Representative on several occasions. After a confusing and long phone call with Samsung support, I was able to get in contact with someone who was able to understand my issue and send out a replacement phone within a couple of days with all the instructions needed for a smooth exchange. Process was fairly straightforward. Going from an Galaxy S9 to a new S9 was seamless. Shipment was delayed, not their fault but the only reason I only gave 4/5 stars. Have to send back old device within 10 days or you would be charged the full original retail price of the phone.

Took a week to finally get my phone and when I got it the sim card was not active nor was the phone. Had to wait for a new sim to come in the following week and now finding out that the phone is not able to be activated. Terrible. Would not ever recommend to anyone.

I like the service of the phone insurance provided. The delivery time of insurance company on time for me. Doing insurance from Assurant is worth it. So thankful for the service. All over I’m satisfied with the Assurant service.

I accidentally dropped my cell phone and it was damaged. I called Assurant and got a replacement phone within a few days. They were amazing. Very professional service and I am very pleased with the outcome.

The first day when I contacted the insurance company to do my claim on my phone device I did it online and it was so easy and understandable. It took my steps by steps. I didn’t have any trouble getting all the information that I needed to submit in order to get my device in less than two days. I am real satisfy using the web for this claim.

The website was constantly down. When I finally was able to reach it, my known login didn't work and just took me back to the front page. After that I called. I reset my PIN with TMobile and apparently not the correct PIN. Then after a 30 minute wait, I was told sorry. I called TMobile who had to sit on hold with me to just tell them I was verified and to process me. Too darn difficult and inept across the board.

First call got me nowhere and was supposed to send a link that never showed. Second operator was wonderful. Kept me on the line, took my credit card ?# and I had my phone 24 hours later. Thank you for a quick transaction. You're awesome.

Easy claims process and quick delivery. Easy returns. Worth the extra on my bill. This is why I always insure my devices. Never know when you're going to need to make a claim. Can't go wrong with this company.

Customer Service was good but the phone I received was not. It does this thing where the screen shakes, kind of like a vibration and you can't do anything until it stops and the screen flips horizontal on its own frequently. It's so annoying...

I have been paying for insurance on multiple devices for years, and this was my first claim. The process required 4 phone calls, and much time wasted due to date of last use being off slightly. It seems as though if you can see the device has been used recently, that should be good? First order was canceled 3 days into the process due to mismatch of date. The overall process took roughly a 6 days of back and forth.

I just had an issue with being overseas and having only 10 days to return broken device. It's not long enough. Now granted it should be a privilege to have up to 30 days for return. With that being said I'd be happy to provide some type of proof of where I am in the world and would even be willing to pay a small extension fee.

The service was great, fast and easy. I recommend this program. Replacement phone was great, no problems. I’m so happy it would be great if the money we pay will be better if it was lowered maybe to $100 because $250 is a bit too much.

I file my claim on Tuesday by Friday. There was nothing. No communication at all. Finally I call, without an explanation my claim was approved. The representative mention the equipment would arrive overnight. I got a message that it wouldn't arrived until Monday at 9 pm. Long story short it arrived Tuesday at 9:00 PM.... So much for overnight.

The experience was fine. The only thing I did not like was that I called and filed, then had to go online. Also it was supposed to be overnight and I did not get until until after the weekend. Even though I saw FedEx delivering on a Sunday.

I was without a phone for 5 days. Filed and received the replacement in 3 days. Excellent service and very efficient. Included charger, earbuds and cord. Better than iPhone I bought new and returned!!

Crack in screen. And screen burning out. So I needed a functional phone to be able use to handle personal matters and at work. I am happy to have the replacement and hope it will last for a long time.

Poor poor customer service. The customer service rep that didn't do a good job. I have to wait days to get it. Then I have to call back in pushed up to the supervisor to clear it. Then I still have to wait a whole week to get my phone which should have been next day so I hate this service.

Crack phone. They sent me a new one. I sent old back. Easy peasy. Customer service was nice and knowledgeable. Got phone within 3 days because I ordered late Friday night. Received Monday morning via UPS.

Why they take it so long. My claim, take 3 days to approve and 3 to 4 days to shipping my package. I understand that situation so is hard so 1/21 claim start claim and 1/27 they approve. After approve take it like it 3 to 4 days to shipping.

I recently called to have my son's damaged phone replaced. I received a message that it was sent out, but I never received a message that it was delivered. My son called and told me he still has not received his phone, so I tracked it with UPS and it said it was delivered last week. Now I have to wait 10 to 14 business days for them to investigate, and my son is still without his phone. I am extremely frustrated, and I truly hope I do not have a problem getting my son his phone once the investigation is completed.
