My replacement phone arrived in three days. I did have to pay a $99 out of pocket expense though. I only wish that I had been reminded to remove my SIM card. T-Mobile was unable to recover much of my contacts. Please be sure to remove your card.

Don't like my replacement phone, I don't understand why they didn't tell me they didn't have My Zte Max Phone before they sent me out this other phone. I could waited for the replacement of my Zte Max Phone.

I dropped my phone and it started to turn off randomly. Then I filed a claim at the assistant site. They were professional, efficient and helpful. Phone arrived the next day about 7 hrs before expected arrival time.???

I was assisted by a courteous and knowledgeable representative, who made it easy. I didn't even spent 20 minutes with them. Assurant is shaping up as a force to recon with. Beware other companies. Assurant is the new sheriff in town. Hehehe sort of speak.

I was impressed by how easy it was to file a claim and even more amazed by how quickly the replacement came by FedEx. The whole process was quick and very easy not to mention stress-free. It's definitely worth the few extra dollars a month.

I recently purchased 2 Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus 5G 128GB Black and purchased your insurance to cover said phones. 1 of the phones became damaged, I pay the insurance deductible, and was informed by T-Mobile I would receive a new replacement phone. I informed your representative and received a refurbished phone, why?

I have had this insurance on my devices for years. I have filed claims with no issue at all before but this time it was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever experienced. First I had to call to file the claim which was no big deal, he was awesome. Very quick to help and efficient. Then the website kept telling me it was down for maintenance. I called the following day, explained to the rep what the site was doing and that I needed to submit my documents to finish the claim. I informed him I was unable to print and scan to send it in several time but he kept trying to walk me through the steps of doing it that way. He had no clue what was going on with the site, lied to me about it and then when I asked to speak to a manager he transferred me to the tmobile support line.
Then I called back and the next rep was decent but couldn't help me. I asked to speak with a manager and they got me over to one. The manager kept trying to get me to go through the print and scan route even though I stated over and over that it wasn't an option. Then they hung up on me. I have done phone support so I know how customers can be. I know I showed my irritation but I did not yell nor was I rude to the reps because I know how it is.
A couple hours later I checked the website and it said my claim was denied. I called back and the rep told it says the insurance was added after the incident date. I called tmobile and found out they made a mistake last time I filed a claim and it wasn't put on this device even though it was still being billed. They got it fixed and I was able to file a claim. I don't understand why I wasn't told sooner that my device wasn't showing it had insurance. That would have saved me from. The headache of talking to the worst customer service reps.

I was very satisfied they told me the replacement Would arrive with in 1 do 2 days. The cellphone arrived the evening on the 2nd day. All the cellphone applications are functioning. Only issue was texting was not functioning. I could sent went Bluegrass cellular office and they fix my account. Everything on the replacement work. Thank you.

Well your rep Stacey ???? was not my favorite so I finished my transaction online. I was impressed with the quickness of receiving the package. Also the device seems to be in good condition as that was my issue with the rep. I was asking if she could put a note on the claim for a new device if at all possible. She seemed to have a problem with that request.

The time from claim to replacement phone was incredible. The phone I received was a $200 dollar phone new and the phone they replaced was $765 when new. Quality was 5 star to just par to say you don't have a broken phone. What's upsetting is they wouldn't let even pay for an upgrade. They also don't replace broken covers. Just give you a screen protector installed on new phone. Also no charger or box supplied for new device.

I experienced an awesome experience from Assurant and will recommend it to anyone I know. I was having problem with my phone, explained what the problem is to assurant, I was approved for replacement immediately. Surprisingly to me my new phone arrived the next day at no charge. The replacement did not come with a patch cord. My internet service was super slow. It took forever to transfer data. I was not able to transfer everything in the time allotted. I used Tech PHD and the tech that I talked to helped a lot. He could only do so much due the long wait transferring. A patch cord should have been provided. Not everyone has high speed internet. I am using T-Mobile 5G21 Gateway.

The gal helping us was rude and talking to others while supposedly helping us. My granddaughter finally said she would figure this out somehow. The phone was damaged and we were getting the replacement setup.

I am certainly unsatisfied with this business. I've been with Tmobile for 3+yrs. And I've always insured my phone. Only once have I ever used my insurance. And for Assurant to send me a refurbished phone is very disgraceful and disappointing. What's the point of having insurance, pay a deductible only to get a refurbished phone. I might as well have gone to the mall and fix my screen. What a shame. Highly disappointed.

Not a good experience I would never insure my phone again. I had a hard time I switched to another provider. Plus T mobile is such a horrible provider. I had to switch to Verizon. I should just bought a new phone instead.

After I lost my phone, I filed a claim online and called the number you provide to get it going. I was told 3-5 days. After 10 days I emailed customer service-got no response. After 14 days I called got hung up on once after waiting 30 min. and then called again and the girl really worked hard (she gets 4 stars) to get my claim moving. First she tried the 3-5 days thing and we told her no way. We already waiting and she did get us moving and I had my phone a few days later.

My phone got damaged from the screen got my approval immediately and within 1 day I was able to get my replacement. I never felt that I had a damaged phone and it was very easy to return it. I placed it inside the shipping envelope and even got a confirmation from UPS.

I called on 3/18/21. The email I received stated that I had a claim on 3/10. I have not submitted any claims. Therefore, if any claims have been submitted it has been unbeknownst to me. My service on 3/18 was superb. Like previously stated I know nothing of any other dates.

Next day delivery "actually happened". It wasn't that way the past time with a Verizon phone last October! That's why I switched to T-Mobile, because I needed to have a phone in the interim. A51 phone. Not much to say. I was less than pleased with the customer service and was not given any help by T Mobile til I had had the phone for 36 hours. Had to go to a different store and Assurant was not available to help at all. Had to prove my identity more than twice. Thought Assurant worked with T Mobile, not instead of T Mobile.

My initial call to to start the claim went very smooth, the new phone came quick. Unfortunately it was defective. I was told to take it to T-Mobile and it would be switch out by your employee, Sebastian, that was a lie. There was no record of that phone call happening on your company's end. When I called back after taking the phone to tmobile I spoke with a gentleman named Andy. When I expressed my concerns after the 3rd time (because when he repeated the same thing that was not explaining anything) he then hung up on me.

The process for making my claim was very simple. The only issue I had was sending the identification because I didn't understand how to change the format. My fault, I went to my store. They helped with that. I received my new phone in two days. I couldn't be happier.

My experience overall in regards to this situation was above board and positive. The sole reason that I gave a rating of 3 versus 4 or 5 was due to my experience with the initial customer service representative that I spoke with. This individual knew very limited English, consistently breathed heavily into the mouthpiece of the phone despite my asking repeatedly to not do so, and his inability to understand basic spelling of basic words which compounded the stress of having my phone stolen.

Communication was horrible. I made a mistake putting in the serial number and was never contacted. I called in and the first women told me I was all set to expect the email. I remained patient. Called back a week later to be told about the issue. Took about a month to get a replacement. I feel it was ridiculous and not happy about the experience at all.

The process went well. Originally there was some confusion. Original reason said stolen/lost but real issue was damage. Also original showed no deductible but wound up paying $148 deductible. Received newer model which is fine.

My experience has been disappointing to say the least! The anguish that has come from dealing with damages to my home that have not been resolved is 3 months has placed what is becoming and unbearable amount of stress on me!! I would like to be reimbursed for the monies that was paid out of pocket immediately, we are in a pandemic for Christ sakes!! I have had to do everything to get this claim resolved and still things are pending!

I received a replacement device that is defected. Supervisor said she could send a new once original phone was in transit. Called back and was told I have to send new phone back and be without a phone until they send new replacement. I work from my phone and I have children. I cannot be without a phone. Plus I paid for a phone that is damaged. Just had 2 deaths in my family. Supervisor, John would not provide corporate office phone number. Ashley, customer service, said she does not have corporate number. So I Google. Left a message for a call back and sent and email. No response yet. Why should I have to be without my phone when I paid for a replacement. Assurant sent me a defected phone and they act as if I'm going to scam them for a phone. I just want what I paid for. Rightfully so. Very poor customer service. I hope I never have to file a claim with them again.

I went to my local US Cellular store to find out how to file a claim for my old phone. The clerk was very helpful. When I got home I made a call to the insurance company and filed my claim. The lady I spoke with was very helpful. I received my new phone the next day. Thanks.

The person who helped me was awesome, courteous, friendly and made me feel like my issue really mattered. He handled my claim not like I was taking up his time and bothering him but like a trusted friend or family member who made sure I got what I needed and extremely fast. I called Assurant to let them know I had found the phone I had put a claim for. I was instructed to return either device (original that was lost or replacement device) for a credit to be issued back to me. Assurant has had the device back for 3 months and has not issued me the refund.

Everything when was fine. I do think you should be able to get a replacement phone-in your stores and not through the mail. Also the replace phone should be given a screen protector since l was paying 249 for this replacement.

My new phone A11 was brand new. I picked it up as I was going to bed to set my alarm. It slipped out of my hands on the floor and the screen cracked. I went to Tmobile website, paid 10.00. And record a refurbished phone instead of a new replacement, and the refurbished phone wouldnt work. I had to re-contact t-mobile directly to have a another replacement phone sent paying another 5.00. Not only was this a hassle. I feel we pay a lot for insurance, but the quality of service is not equitable to the amount of money we should be covered for. And why are we being sent used phones?

Phone was stolen at work. Assurant processed and approved claim for replacement within minutes. I appreciate the lack of confusion with the process. The replacement phone was shipped immediately. However, because it was not sent certified, the FedEx driver delivered it to another home. Thankfully, the recipient reported the discrepancy and made arrangements for me to pick it up. Other than the delivery issue, Assurant services were excellent.

My phone stopped turning on so I reached out to have my phone replaced. The service was quick and I was able to get connected again very quickly. I was able to get the replacement phone shipped to my work address and they made the return of the phone that was not working simple and easy. Great experience that I would recommend.

The process was quick however the app and online were frustrating. I had to log in 4 different times. And It would be nice if we could do the claim in person at T-mobile store. Once I was finally able to get the app to work it didn’t take long.

Surprised at the ease and speed to which I received a replacement phone. I'd say perfect execution and prompt service. The only issue I had was finding a brick and mortar to submit my claim for me. I did not have access to a phone due to my remote location which was quickly resolved.

I'd called in when I accidentally dropped my phone and damaged the screen. The process was simple and easy. After answering a few questions and paying my deductible, my replacement was overnighted. They even sent prepaid packaging to ship the damaged device back.

I filed a claim with Assurant in November 2020. Claim #**. The received my damaged cell phone on 12/05/20 according to mail tracking records. I received 2 letters from Assurant dated 12/14/20 and 12/21/20 stating that they have not received the damaged cell phone and to return the phone ASAP or I my T-Mobile account will be charged. I called Assurant customer service on 1/07/21 and their representative told me that they are showing that the cell phone was received on 12/05/20 but it has not been scanned into the system yet, and it can take up to a month for the warehouse to scan it into the system. They did assure me that they received the cell phone. I received no further communication from Assurant regarding this matter.
On 3/7/21 my T-Mobile account was charged $396.23 for the damaged cell phone. On 3/10/21 I called T-Mobile who conference called Assurant and we spoke to a rep. named Kim. Kim said that she see that the phone was received by the warehouse on 12/05/20 and she will open up an investigation to located the phone and she will send me an email within 48 house to provide me an update on this matter. I never heard anything further from Assurant. I called Assurant customer service back on 3/16/21 and spoke to rep. Maria. She checked the notes and said that they did located the phone and scanned into the system on 3/12/21, and that the previous rep. should not have told me that she will email me a confirmation because the reps. are not allowed to email customers.
Maria told me that Kim gave me incorrect information regarding an email confirmation. Also Maria said that it can take up to 1-2 billing cycles for me to see the credit of $396.23 charge back on my T-Mobile account. I told her how is it that they can erroneously charge my account for a damaged cell phone that they received in December 2020 but it takes up to 8 weeks for them to return my money. She said that I would have to call T-Mobile and talk to them about that. I also asked her why was the phone not scanned in when they received it in December 2020. So what were they doing from 12/05/20 - 3/12/21 with the phone?
Maria said that the warehouse is in another state so they couldn't tell me what happen and why they did not scan in the phone. So I said to her because someone in their warehouse is lazy and did not do their job I got charged $396.23 for a cell phone that they had possession of since December, and because someone is incompetent over there I have to pay for their mistakes. She just apologized and said that I need to call T-Mobile regarding refunding the money.

I called in to replace my S20 Ultra 5G due to a crack in the glass on the back of the phone. I was first told that there were no replacement devices available and that I would have to spend 900 to finish paying off my device so I could send it to Assurant. I bit the bullet and paid off my phone so I could send it in. I was forced to call and check on the status twice where they first claimed that they were waiting on information from me and while I was on the phone found the information they needed or were looking for without any input from me. Then they tell me I need to go finance a new phone through my local store since assurant had no comparable devices in stock.
After I finance another new phone and send my broken phone in, assurant apparently lost my phone in the warehouse. Upon finding it I was hoping the nightmare was over, and they would finally issue me a check for the broken device in the amount of $1300. Sadly this was not the case and a few days later Assurant sends me out a new phone in the mail instead of the money they owned me! Now I have to send the new phone back to Assurant and hope they cannot lose it this time and finally issue me a check!
I was and still am soo furious with the customer service or lack thereof and the inability for staff or even managers that I spoke with, to work with me or do anything to try and rectify the situation. If there was any way for me to insure my phone through another company, I would. I have contacted the BBB and started a case with them to help give me the leverage I hope I wont need to finally get my money back for a broken phone I was forced to pay off over 2 months ago...

Filing the claim was simple enough, but after waiting a month with no response I had to reach out and inquire what the problem was. They were able to resolve it within five minutes which was great but also makes it worse that no one contacted me and I would have gone on waiting for who knows how long with a broken phone.

This process took 9 days, required more information than should have been required, resulted in my child being bullied because the school couldn't contact my wife and was one of the most stressful unorganized company dealings I've had. I filed my claim online, which did not have an option for a different mailing address. Since I moved across the country and have mail forwarding, there shouldn't have been an issue. However, your company only uses fed ex, which doesn't follow USPS mail forwarding. I attempted to contact the company by phone multiple times when I noticed FedEx shipping to make sure I received my phone, every time getting a busy signal.
My phone was shipped to the wrong address and your company took the money out of my account. I finally got in contact with customer service at that point and spoke with 2 service representatives and a manager, along with leaving a voice-mail with the managers supervisor (which was never returned). The manager went through a verification process with me to confirm my identity and assured me that my phone would be shipped to me the next day. That phone was shipped, put on the truck for delivery and never arrived. When I checked the tracking number, it said that my phone was ordered to be returned to the company (I wasn't notified).
At that point I called customer service yet again, only to find out someone at the corporate office (which can only be contacted through the mail) decided to cancel my delivery and require more information (note I wasn't contacted or informed of this until I called). I was required to upload a picture of my old ID, picture of the DMV receipt for my new ID and usps change of address verification. The manager also informed me that until someone at corporate reviews the information that my phone would be on hold.
On Friday I called at 10 in the morning and found out that the order was approved, I didn't receive an email until 630 pm. I was informed that the phone wouldn't arrive until Monday because your company only does next business day shipping, even though it was your company that took my money a week earlier, made 2 mistakes, made my child miserable and simply should have taken responsibility for your actions and make sure my phone was received. I will not only make sure the word is out about the horrible service, but will never recommend this company.

I made my insurance claim through online for the first time since I normally call T-Mobile. It was the easiest and quickest experience. The website walked me through everything my phone was here within that same week. All I had to do was mail my phone and follow the instructions on turning off the Find My IPhone feature.

Today, 3/17/21, my daughter and I spent over 1 hour on the phone speaking with both T-Mobile and Assurant/Asurion which T-mobile transferred us to in order to make a claim. We were honest about the phone having had its glass cracked and that it happened past the allowable claim time frame. We were 3 months late. I raised my voice in anger pleading with them to give us a break. My husband died 1 month before my daughter's phone cracked, I had a fall and sustained injuries having had to go on SSD and having been bedridden and in the dark most of my days for 1 year. Today, life is back in order, so to speak, and we had time and energy to make the claim. They said, "I am sorry for your loss." I replied, "No you're not or you would help me." I asked to talk to a supervisor and she too had no empathy. If I knew they would be so cruel I would have cancelled the insurance months ago.

Filed a claim which took too long to replace my device and the new device was shipped to me and was inoperable. The phone would not charge and was defective upon arrival. Contacted Assurant who stated I could not get a replacement until they received phone back. They did not send a shipping label and it is not documented on myMetro claim app. I have paid my services for the insurance deductible and also my monthly bill for a non operational phone. Assurant a customer service is poor and would like to be compensated awhile device is nonoperational.

Note 8 screen was broken & phone not working properly. Claim filed (#**) Replacement received which was also damaged. Cancelled claim, returned replacement & requested refund. Don't know why I pay $20 per month for this service. Claim filed & replacement phone sent that was a refurbished Note 8 (which would have been fine except it was also damaged). I would rather have all my teeth pulled without the use of Novocaine before I file another claim with Assurant. I never got the same answer to my question(s) until I demanded to speak with a management person. After 3 days of frustration dealing with this claim and your company, I cancelled the claim, returned the replacement phone, & demanded a refund of my $99 copay & upgraded my phone with T-Mobile.

First claim filed 2/10/2021...told it was approved. Paid Deductible. 12 days later still no replacement delivered. Called and claim was denied due to INCORRECT docs on ASSURANT'S END! Regarding an Older claim. Problem corrected. 2/10/2021 claim was canceled. Submitted same claim AGAIN. Post dated (by Assurant) for 2/11/2021. Deductible Paid. Took 6 days to get Delivery. New Phone Had NO BATTERY. No Back to PHONE! Called. Complained. Another Cell Phone Ordered and Mailed. Received this one Overnight. Had Battery and Back this time! I filed complaints with US Cellular...this poor service is just unacceptable... I was advised as of 01/01/2021 All New Claims will be handled with a different company due to the number of complaints about the service with Assurant. GOOD!

Didn't care so much for a upgrade. An Email regarding what kind of phone I'll be receiving would have been nice. Since it didn't come with charger, a type "C" that wasn't any help. But thanks for trying. Problems concerned: different charger cable, phone was smaller and I didn't care for an upgrade without a notification. Might not add this to my phone plan next time.

It was a long process due to the change in the solution. Instead of getting a new device, I was told to get it repaired by having a new screen installed. The process took almost a week to complete because the employees didn't order my part right away because I couldn't answer my phone (the screen wasn't functional). And when the part was ordered, it was too late to get my phone fixed right away. I had to wait until the following Monday afternoon. I won't say that I was dissatisfied, but a little perturbed with the ordering of the part being late.

I submitted my claim for my device and received it the following day but it did not come with a charger. It was a different model than I originally had and therefore the charger was different. I had to call in and explained that my case did not fit this new phone and I did not have a charger to fit this device. I was told one would be overnighted. I finally received the charger 5 days later and it was the wrong charger. I called back in and was told I would have to return the wrong charger before I would be issued the correct charger. After having to speak with a supervisor I finally got the new charger sent out. Therefore it took a week to get a working phone.

They delivered the phone the very next day and I ordered it on a Sunday. Even through the weekend it was still delivered the next business day! I am happy with my replacement and I will always be getting insurance on my phone from now on.

I’m with a certain large mobile carrier. After hours and hours of back and forth of who is to replace my daughter's phone, carrier or insurance. (Newer phone malfunctioning from hardware) So obviously it wasn’t insurance who is responsible and they straight up upgraded my daughter to a brand new phone, free of charge because this carrier refused and it was their responsibility. At first I mistakenly thought that I was going to have problems and getting the insurance to honor the claim was going to be like pulling teeth, but after going through the process of filing a claim and the fact that it was processed and shipped overnight and I actually had the replacement phone the very next day after filing the claim. I have a very different opinion of Assurant Insurance and am extremely pleased with the quick process and service at a moment when it really counts. I am also glad that I made the wise choice to get the insurance for my phone otherwise it would have cost me a great deal of money to buy a new Samsung Galaxy phone.

When the Incident 1st happens agent told me the word new replacement devices available after waiting 6 months. Finally one became available. I paid for the expedited shipping to have it the next day and received it a week later without getting a refund for paying for the expedited shipping... very poor and unprofessional.. especially after paying them every month for a little under a year and this is the way that a loyal customer is treated....I'd honestly do without mobile insurance after this experience.

Service was good but I believe they could work on making the online application less complicated. It takes a long time to feel out and the staff at Metro are held up waiting for you to complete it. Other customers are waiting to be helped and it really creates a long wait time in the store.

We had a spare phone in our office and a spare sim card for the phone that was lost. Our employee who needed a phone put the sim card in the spare phone and Assurant turned off our spare phone. I always keep duplicates of our employee's sim cards. My employee's phone was lost.

Waited almost 2 full weeks to get my replacement device. They said there was an imei issue and I had to call about 4 times and all they told me was I had to wait for it. Then the device deactivated my current device while I was driving in the mtns with no warning!! THEN the device wouldn’t even activate. Nightmare.

The replacement device they sent is totally unacceptable. I have been paying the highest tier premium of insurance for over 3 years with no claims, and as replacement for my iPhone 8+ they sent a noticeably way smaller phone, iPhone XR. I hate it. There are refurbished 8+ available on bestbuy and I would have been happy with that. They had none available at Assurant but could have acquired one. If that was not possible I should have been sent a comparable replacement.
The newer replacement should have been an iPhone XS Max to match the phone’s size and features most closely. The XR is totally unacceptable. I have to send the phone back and pay out of pocket for an acceptable replacement now because this company rips off their customers. The XR is only worth $220 in trade, nowhere near enough for me to even get a refurbished 8+. This insurance is an utter ripoff unless your phone breaks in year 1, I will not purchase it again. I would have been better served to set aside the money in a separate account and pay cash for repair or replacement. About $700 by now. And they send me a phone worth ~ $400 cash and $220 trade.

I received a new phone. Didn’t return within 90 days. Spoke to rep then manager. I still have phone and return box in hand and the manager said if it was on the way she would have done something. What is the difference if it’s on the way or if I ship it in 5 mins at post office around the corner from my house... Phone still works just cracked on both sides then they asked to send it back and pay for it. Really.

I had to call Assurant 3 times in order to process my claim. I tried to complete complete my claim online but kept being directed to Apple. After I spoke with Apple I decided I did not want to file a claim with them. I called Assurant back and was told I had to work through Apple. I contacted T-Mobile for help and after calling Assurant a 3rd time and being on hold for 20 mins or more they decided to process my claim. I was told that Apple was upset that customers were using Assurant to process claims so their policy was changed and if a customer has AppleCare they have to file a claim with Apple. I didn’t even realize I had Apple care. I asked about dropping it but was not given any information on how to do that. This was a frustrating process.

The experience with Assurant was the worst I have ever dealt with in my life. I have not received my complete phone yet and if I don't receive it I'm going to make a stop payment through my bank because I have not received my complete phone. They are very rude and very disrespectful and I will be cancelling my insurance from my phone and never do business with Assurant again.

Agent lied about the replacement phone. He said that I could and would get the phone in green - but, Assurant did NOT! Why did I pay $175.00 for the phone I did not want. I still have not yet used this phone. I'm still trying to find someone to get it to. Maybe it's this bad customer service is why U.S. Cellular is not retaining Assurant Ins. any more.

While you never want to have to use the insurance program for your phone - recently my iPhone XS just stopped working. I was able to fill out the claim form online and had a replacement phone by the next afternoon. Return labels and packaging was sent for the old phone which made it easy to drop off for return.

After visiting the T-Mobile store and told the phone was totally gone, made one phone call and the rep quickly and courteously handled the claim. I received the replacement the next day and was up and running within minutes. This is the first time I've had to use this insurance and will continue to use this service. I highly recommend this to everyone.

This was the worst. I had my phone replaced for actual damage within manufacturer warranty. This second time is because of the charger. I cannot understand why I would be charged a monthly fee to be charged another fee to be sent a replacement handset without a replacement charger-twice! I am utterly embarrassed and mentally exhausted. Please do not charge me an additional dollar for services or the phone (IMEI#354824090774550) being returned tomorrow 3/10/21. My handset should be in proper working order at that time. Thank you for this experience with handset insurance.

The website was very easy to use and I was able to submit my claim for a damaged device, without any problem. I received a quick e-mail confirmation and within days, had a replacement device delivered to my home. There were instructions for data transfer as well as return instructions. The service is very horrible. When I asked you guys to replace my watch you guys took too long to replace it and did not guaranteed me the same product that I spent $600 on. I ordered a rose gold watch and you guys sent me a two-tone watch which was not the same thing I ordered. I’ll give you guys a negative one star.

I had trouble activating my phone because I entered the wrong IMEI number. Once that was corrected yesterday (3/8/21) I was able to get it activated. Now that it's activated I need to figure out how to get my old phone mailed back in so I don't get charged for it. I'm disabled & don't drive.

I spent, on 2 occasions, over an hour on the phone, on hold, and then being continually re-routed back to t-mobile general line, with no explanation as to why they weren't processing my claim. I was told by Assurant, after gathering info, "Ok, we'll get you over to the person that is going to get your replacement for you," and then boom, back to t-mobile to start the hour waiting/hold process all over again. I was so frustrated. I had to go in to t-mobile store to ask for assistance. I guess I didn't put in a pin, but they texted or emailed a code and I provided the code both times, was never told why I was being re routed. Such poor customer service. I filed a complaint about assurant with t mobile as well.

I don't understand why this phone was less than one year old and stopped working. We pay for the insurance so why did we have to pay $99 to get a replacement....and a refurbished phone to boot. Very disappointed with the level of service on the phone and at the local store. Even the customer service rep was puzzled at why we had to pay anything.

I had a horrible experience. My claim was made in Oct and the rep said I have a year to pay the deductible. Fast forward and they will no longer validate or keep their end of the word of 1year bc policy changed. No one ever sent out anything to state this would be the case. They were unwilling to try to come to any understanding or compromise.

The first email I received from you had a bold headline “We have received your request“. Because I skimmed it I didn’t realize until days later I still needed to complete the process. I would change the first email to let the receiver know that you have one more step to complete this process to get your phone. Otherwise it was a great and very simple experience!

They play games with me. I send one broken one last year in November from New York to York PA AND THEY TOLD ME the package got there in Jan 6. The package was on the road for 2 months and they told me that the package was empty and they make me pay for the broken phone. After that they play games with me. I ask them why the label that they send me don't have insurance and they did not have answer for that.

10 days waiting to get my phone. When everything was perfectly filled up. They said they was calling to the designated number about the progress of the claim, when I never received any calls. Then when I got my phone (at last) we notice that they was calling to my number of the one was lost, having it on file they was calling to that number. Obviously I was never got the calls.

I noticed on my claim I was sent the wrong phone. I called in but my replacement was already shipped. I was instructed to return the incorrect phone and the correct phone would be shipped. I did just that. The return was received on 3/4 and I am still waiting for the correct replacement to be shipped to me. I emailed Assurant only to be told that my return hasn't been scanned in. I think it's poor customer service to make a customer wait for an issue to be corrected when they themselves discovered the error? Why make me suffer for your mistake?

The screen on the replacement phone is not working. Poor typing and response. Can't sense some touches and too sensitive on selecting things not touched. Can't get through to speak to someone. I paid $149 deductible to receive another broken phone.

I was sent A refurbished Phone. I am still paying for a brand new one. When I called I was upset and was told that I need to send both Phones back To try and get my new one. But That would leave me without For who knew how long. Then I was told if the phone Broke I have 14 Days to return It. This is very upsetting as I had already just paid 99.00 To get a phone fixed.

Getting the claim filed was ok. But for an overnight delivery, it took 4 days. The phone is ok, but received no charger. And it took a minute to figure out phone, with no instructions or idea of how to operate it. But, while trying to activate it...they kept trying to charge me for the activation. And I couldnt understand his accent....I got praised tho for being a great customer for ten years...tho. It was a hassle to do this. After ten years, it shouldnt be....Anyways, hope I have better results with this phone and service.

Placed a claim, got replacement device and it was defective as well. Been trying for a week with calls and visits to Metro PCs store to get it to work. Called today to get it replaced and I have to send it back and they will send me a new one. Been almost two weeks without a working phone only to have to wait longer. Very very frustrating.

The system itself it’s a mess. You have to do everything on the system and the system don’t always works fine. I had to submit more than 5 times the same document because I never received the confirmation mail.

I'm a nurse at our local hospital here in Montgomery Alabama and I had a patient coding and my phone drop off of my phone clip. It was secured in a case and dropped and was damage. I filed a claim and it was quick and easy. Assurant did a wonderful job of replacing my phone. Fantastic!!

It took two weeks to get the replacement phone. My son was without a phone for work for two weeks. Your customer service sucks! The store Metro PCS is at the very bottom of the pit for helping customers with their insurance after selling it to them. You guys have the worst customer service I have ever dealt with.
