I truly spent 20 hours on phone and texting because Assurant requires me to verify a zip code and had no alternate in place. VISIBLE apparently changed my address without my input and it was wrong. After a couple of days I had to get this escalated to a supervisor's supervisor! Finally they came up with an idea. But in the meantime I figured out the address change. THEN, the phone order for a discerned phone was canceled at the warehouse???? I have NEVER experienced problems like this and seek now canceling my insurance with Assurant and give 1 star ratings and recommendations to anyone never to use your service.

Well my phone was stolen. I had a lot of information in it personal and private. It was insured so I made the call and Assurant sent me another out right away. Great Service so that why they get a 5 ⭐ from me.

I dropped my phone and put in a claim for a replacement. The process was easy. I had an issue and called to see why the status had not changed. The customer service representative quickly figured out the problem and resolved it. I then received my replacement phone the next day. My phone is working fine and I have not had any issues.

I called to replace my device because screen was cracked. The new device arrived within 2 business days. It was definitely a super fast service. I received the returned box to returned the damage device. I'm enjoying my new phone.

Great and fast service. My phone was stolen and all I could think was about the hassle with filing a claim with the insurance. It was nothing like claims with other companies. They were very helpful, sympathetic with the theft of my phone, and courteous. Kudos to the people that help get my phone replaced. Great Great Great Service.

My old phone was damaged, don't know how it happened. After several attempts to get it replaced finally a TMobile agent got Assurant tp accept the claim. After that was settled the phone was quickly replaced and all is okay.

Send me a broken phone and now you guys are making me do all the footwork. Make me send you the phone back before you even would send me a new one. You received the phone yesterday. I have got no phone call, no email, now I have to go out of my way to drop what I'm doing to call you guys and make you do your job. It's just a little frustrating considering I paid. You had to do a job.

It was good other than placing my order Thursday morning and receiving it Tuesday then having to call them asking what happened for them to say they don’t accept echeck when they offer they do. But other than that great customer service and thanks for the NEW PHONE.

Laszlo (representative!) made the claim clear & simple. It took a while to see I could connect with Assurant through Google Voice. I wonder if you would let me know what happened to the phone that died? It didn't function after a night of charging. Oh, if there is way to recover the Notes from Notepad I would truly appreciate that, as well. Thank you very much.

The claim about the lost phone was processed quickly. The representative on phone was listening attentively and guided how to submit a claim. The new phone was delivered by overnight shipment. It came by Fedex fast. Thank you.

Been a loyal Metro PCS customer since 2015. Paid insurance on my phone for the last 3 years at $8.00 per month. I received a "sub-value" phone as a replacement for my ZTE Z982 phone which caught fire while charging. The replacement was looked up for sale on the internet and was selling for $9.93 at **. I was charged $60.00 Copay (which I am demanding a refund) for a $10.00 phone with poor reviews. Assurant is making money scamming Metro PCS customers. I will continue to blog my experience until resolution is received.

Great easy experience... Got new phone right away... No hassles. Cracked my screen and they sent me a new phone... Galaxy s9. Did everything online, didn't need to be on hold or wait to speak with someone.

Assurant helped me with getting a new phone due to my phone being damaged when it was dropped. I am very happy about that, but because I used the insurance twice to get replacement phones for two phones that were damaged, Assurant cancelled my insurance which I paid for consistently since I became a customer of Metro and I do not have insurance on my new phone. So if anything happens to this phone, I will need to pay to get another phone either full price or the upgraded price. I am being punished for using the insurance I paid for.

2nd phone in 3 years. 3 years ago I my screen broke. I paid the deductible and got a new phone within 24 hours. 2 weeks ago my son's phone broke. Paid deductible and if not for FedEx messing up would have had it in 24 hours. Got it 40 hours later. Nice that insurance works. Great team on their end.

I had to leave my phone overnight and it still was not ready when I went to pick it up the next day. They also let the battery run down and did not charge it when it was ready. I would think as a courtesy to their customers, they would make sure the phone was charged, ready for use. They really didn't seem to care. I would not recommend their service to anyone.

Took 2 minutes to put in my order and the phone was here in less than 24 hours. Having insurance on your phone is a must. I was pleasantly surprised how fast the phone was delivered. Only thing I'd like is a new charger with the new phone, but otherwise 10/10

You guys gave me the run around every time I called, it was really simple but everyone I spoke to kept changing what I was saying and one of the ladies didn’t even help me. Like she didn’t want to work... It wasn’t until I called the last person (I forgot her name) that both ladies actually understood and just helped me right away. I’m thankful for them coz they were patient and helped explained everything but you guys shouldn’t make the customer call T-Mobile, and Apple just for them both to send me back to Assurant. Regardless everything is taken cared of so thank you but please check these phone calls and see how to better train because it took so much for my claim and everything just to go through. SMH

Not quick & easy at all, took me more than a wk to get a replacement phone & it wasn't even a replacement for my iphone. Really disappointed. Had to call a whole bunch of time to get it processes so at the end to be told I can't get my iphone.

My son dropped his phone and the screen shattered even though the screen protector and the case. Sometimes it just hits the right place. I called and went through the claim process and it was very easy and fast. They didn’t have an iPhone 7 and they upgraded his phone to an iPhone 10. He’s so happy. The people that I spoke to were so helpful and nice. Great job and thank you to everyone that helped.

This overnight process is anything but, it took three days before my claim was approved. They failed to advise they could not verify my bank account as valid when using the echeck option, I had to call and find out but they have no issue using the debit card attached to the same bank. Then it took two days for the device to ship only for FedEx to decide overnight delivery is a suggestion and they took another two days before delivering the phone. I should have just bought a new phone instead of wasting 150 for a replacement that has to be replaced already due to it malfunctioning.

Always needed and appreciated... The 2nd time in the past year that I've needed to replace my phone and lately phones are very very expensive and it's such a good feeling to know that Assurant is there and you only have to pay the deductible and you get your phone back!!

The Back of the phone cracked, so I had to replace it.. I am having a problem. With FedEx because I requested pickup days several days, but they didn't come pick it up. The phone is already prepared. I just don't want to be charged while making good-faith efforts. Also my phone was Brass, the replacement is Black. Not a big problem.

So first I'm told that I will get a replacement in 3 days. If no N8 in stock an upgrade of one model may happen. 5 days and no phone. Spoke to one of your people. He said no N8 in stock. I could wait 3 months or he would send a check, but not to a PO Box, (That's what I use cause of stolen mail.) Then I come home, several days later, to find a package in front of my door, in plain sight, (wasn't necessary). Lucky it was still there as I live on an alley. With the homelessness now occurring in this day and age, and alley people cruising to steal items out of yards, (maybe also why I use a PO Box?) You're lucky I am honest.

Beat service ever. I believe I received my replacement within 12 hours!!! It took a little less than five minutes to request a replacement. Correspondence was excellent. They updated me within minutes via email to give me tracking info.

I thought I needed another phone because I thought that the screen was broken. But after taking it to get switched over it was not. So I sent the replacement phone back. But everything went well, I received the phone the next day like I was told. They was also very understanding about having to send the phone back and giving me my refund. Service was fast and directions were easy. However, I’m not happy with the new phone provided to me. The battery health is at 84%. From what I understand, Apple says that at 80% the battery should be replaced. This means that I don’t have that many cycles left in the phone. I would appreciate a phone with the same or better as the phone I sent in. I will be calling about this issue or would appreciate it if someone called me to fix the problem. I should not have to pay to get the battery replaced. Additionally, the battery gets extremely hot at times already. This is another sign that there is an issue. Please contact me.

Very unorganized and sent the wrong phone then wanted a 2nd deductible before refunding the 1st. Very unhappy with Assurant. I was on the phone with customer service five different days. This was a very slow inefficient process

Easy and efficient claim and phone replacement service. All we had to do was call and they sent us a replacement Samsung S20 along with a postage paid return envelope. The $99 deductible fee was was very reasonable. Lesson Learned: Protective phone cases help!

First of all I received a phone different from the phone that was broken. The phone is still outdated where I cannot find a case for the phone. I have been to 5 to 10 different T-Mobile’s. They do not carry a case for this phone. Furthermore you all did not send me a charger, a plug or key to even put in the Sim card to the phone. I am not happy with the service that I paid for. I would have been better off taking the money that I paid you each month to have your service and the down deposit or payment final payment for a new phone and saving my money and put it towards a phone in case my phone break. At this point I am definitely canceling you Assurant from my phone service And I will also let others know how I was treated by your service so not only do you not get a five star you all do not get one star from me at all.

After making the claim, the replacement device was sent and received in a timely fashion. I was able to almost pick up everything needed from the damaged phone, however, the actual damage limited me in being able to retrieve everything. I do wish the process of submitting the claim was more seamless. I tried to use the link provided and it redirected me to call the toll free number which didn't work out too well. I had to call more than once and was on hold for over 30 mins for each call I made.

Timing was good. Metro rep excellent. I would recommend the insurance to anyone who buys a phone! I think that the online personal data should be better as my debit card was declined but when I visited with the Metro store rep he inputted my debit card information and my card had no issue. Maybe there is a software glitch to be addressed,

Great customer service when claim was submitted. The reason I am not giving 5 stars is b/c I was told they would include a charger too. I got my device but not charger. I call to ask about it and rep who assisted seemed like he did not know what he was talking about. Placed me on hold several times. Came back to tell me not in stock but would mail it as soon as they would get more claiming they would email me a tracking info for charger. As of today 4/15 I got nothing. Maybe make sure your reps are giving accurate info and know what they are talking about.

My daughter Elizabeth ** is on my account with me. She had filed for a phone replacement last month. She went in to the Metro PC offices where she was told she had to filed replacement phone. She did and was told she had to paid a overnight fee of $50.00 in order to get it the next day so she did. The next day it did not come. She called the 1800 number where she did not get anyone to pick up. She also went to the email where it keep sending her back to the 1-800 number so she keep waiting. She went to the post offices where they told her it was never mailed out. After 5 days she did get it then she went to have it turned on and they wanted her to pay more money to have the same number and to hook it up to the new phone. Plus she had paid out $50.00 for overnight the phone to her that never got to her for 5 days later that I think you need to refund her money back to her for that cause it didn't come overnight.
I am very upset over the whole deal with this. If I know that taking out the Ins on our phones was going to be like this I would not have taken it out. I am very unhappy with the services she got with this company. I've been with metro pc for a long time now for years and I've never missed payments or had any problems with them. Her order was put in on 03/22/21. She didn't get her phone until the 03/31/21 and she send the phone back on 04/07/21.

Had my phone replaced and it was shipped pretty fast. It was pretty easy to go through the whole process to have a a new device shipped to my home. It was next day aired to me. And sending the old device back was pretty easy as well. It was received quickly.

Once we got ahold of a real person it went smooth. It took some time to get a real person. US Cellular gave us your number. We called it. Told us to go to your website so we did. The website told us to call us cellular so we did then they helped us to get ahold of a person in your company.

UPS stated it was delivered and even said my In laws last name was the receiver of the delivery (per the UPS description on tracking). But they said no one even came to the house that day at all. I called Assurant and was told it takes 14 days for them to get back to me. I am still waiting for the 14th day. But this is unpleasant as I do not have a phone that works as I have to use an old broken one in the meantime. Very frustrating

I cancelled the claim because of the deductible of $149.. for an iPhone 7 and been paying premium for 4 years, at $13 a month and I have to give my phone in replacement, which I don’t want to. It seemed not worth for all the amount I had put in and still have to put in to get it fixed or replaced.

I have dealt with Assurant in the past and I have been satisfied with the service on both occasions. Recently I had to get my sons iPhone replaced, I expected it to be the exact way that it was. They are thorough and professional. I got the iPhone replacement in a reasonable time. Overall the company is a good one.

I would like better/more communication with company. I mailed phone back to Assurant on 4.8.2021. I haven't received any feedback. I am an senior citizen and not very tech savvy. It would be nice to communicate with a human being. I realize it more productive for the company to communicate via email, text, non forms of human communication, but that isn't in the best interest of all your customers. I would like to know the status of my returned phone. What happens now?

Your process for approval takes way too long. When a customer tells you that that there's a problem with their phone, and it is affirmed that the screen doesn't work or it can't be seen or it simply doesn't work it needs to be replaced immediately. Not wait days upon days to process approval.

Overall it was a pretty painless process and the turnaround wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Thank you for your diligence in getting me a new phone. Great value as well, I think my cost per month is less than 5 dollars and my deductible was only 10.

My son lost his phone. We needed a replacement. Phone customer service not helpful even when contacted with Tmobile. Preferred self service online instead. Service was much quicker and more reliable service and response provided.

Getting a replacement phone was fast and easy. Received new phone in a couple days, transferred all my data and returned. They provided the necessary packaging and label to do so. Just gave to the mail man and done. Wish the deductible was less though. Anyway I am a happy customer. Thanks.

Upon activating my new device, the screen went went blank and I was never able to use my new device. When I called to get yet another device I was told that another device could not be rushed to me because I had to mail back the defective device first. I run a business with my phone and have lost countless amounts of money due to the errors of your company.

Replacement phone does not even work. I would think they would send a brand new iPhone 12. That's what I pay my deductible for! Now I have to go to Apple to see what can be done about replacement not working! Unable to open apps, lock phone nor answer any phone calls.

The Assurant experience wasn't that bad but the phone I received has a broken microphone and doesn't pick up my voice when I'm on speaker phone. I'm very disappointed that I paid money and the phone doesn't work properly!

Processed my claim quickly and shipped the replacement phone within 48 hours. Instructions for transferring my data from old phone to new phone were general. However, I was able to set up the new phone within 48 hours of receiving it. Returning the old phone instructions were also general and assumed I had used FEDEX to ship products in the past.

My phone was mistakenly washed in machine right before our vacation. I went online and filled out a form and a replacement device was sent to our resort. The new device came with envelope to simply return broken device via mail. You still have to pay $10 deductible.

Was very simple to return after receiving the package. I got it and returned within 4 hours. The claim process was very fast from the time I filed it to the time I was able to return it. I had no trouble filing or returning like I did in the past.

I had to keep calling because the site said it takes no more than 24 hours to approve a claim. It took over 72 hours and that was after 3 phone calls to inquire about the hold up. Had to wait 5 days from time I opened claim before I got the replacement. The replacement phone has about half the battery life as my previous phone. A full charge gives me about 4 hours of use. Other than those two issues everything was peachy.

Once again, I was sent a broken refurbished phone. I specifically told the person I called to make sure to tell them NOT to send me a refurbished phone since this has happened before. Then I call to tell them and I was told I have to file a warranty claim which is RIDICULOUS since they sent me a broken phone. They would not send me a new phone immediately since I was going on vacation and no one has attended to my problem still. I don’t understand how the customer service is so poor and I have been making MONTHLY PAYMENTS FOR YEARS FOR THIS INSURANCE THAT DOES NOTHING FOR YOU!!

When I received my replacement I sent my damaged phone with USPS. I literally handed the mailman the return package and you guys have not received it? I sent the phone back on March 31, 2021 at 12:00pm and I am not going to get charged for the loss of this phone when I have a witness who seen me hand it to the mailman. The customer service rep helped me and was efficient. He answered all my questions. And my phone was sent overnight. I don't think I could have gotten the phone any faster and I appreciated that. I hate that my phone broke but glad I was only without a phone for a day.

It took 2 months to file the claim and receive my new device. I didn't have the IMEI number to file the claim myself, so I called to get the number. The representative offered to help file the claim over the phone; however, he couldn't understand me and kept messing up information. So I used the live chat, the first lady was not helpful at all and wouldn't answer my question. I left the chat very frustrated and tried again the next day. The second lady was helpful and after fixing information and giving an address, she said we were all set. Then received an email saying I needed to confirm my address...
I hopped on the live chat again and confirmed the address... Again, I received and email saying the address needed to be confirmed.. I responded to the email that time and confirmed the email. I received yet ANOTHER email saying the address couldn't be used... I finally gave a different address which I was nervous to use because we live in the middle of nowhere and ups and fed ex don't like delivering to us.. I received my device but it was 2 MONTHS of frustration.

Received phone and sim card only. No key to install sim card, no charging cord. No owners manual setting up new phone. Very tedious and difficult without manual as mandatory changes to Samsung accounts from Google extremely confusing!!

Placed an online damaged phone order for a new Samsung Galaxy A10E 32GB.. The online form failed to process my payment even though it said the process was complete... This cost my sister in law inability to receive her iPhone in a timely manner... Phone replacement ended up taking 3 extra days because when I checked on the processing it never showed it had been shipped. It took a ages to top process just a $10 payment to really complete the process the first time...

All went well with the replacement other than FedEx canceling and rescheduling late on the day of delivery and having to wait another day. That was not Assurant's fault. Requesting the replacement was super easy and super quick.

The person that helped me with my claim was excellent. The only problem I had with the delivery drivers from UPS because the driver said that he made an attempted delivery to my address and I refused my delivery when the driver never even tried to deliver the package to my address. Because if I refused my delivery then I must be losing my mind because I really needed my phone. Also I ended up getting it from the UPS facility in my area after the package was sent back and reordered. I finally got it myself after going to pick it up. I would prefer not to even receive packages from UPS in the future because I believe that the driver had a full day. The two times that he claims he tried to deliver the package and he didn't even leave a tag on the door if he tried to make the delivery.

My less than a year old LG Stylo 5 phone developed an intermediate semi white screen. I took it to our TMobile store and the associate explained that something had gone wrong with the LCD and I needed t file a claim. I went online and with the awesome help from the chat service, I was able to make the claim and had my new phone within LESS than 24 hours! I had no major issues filing my claim. The only issue I have is the length of time to return my damaged phone. The emails are confusing. One says 10 days from the time I received the phone and the other gives a precise date. I don't have a screen protector or case for my new phone so I can't use my new phone without protection. I hope I don't get charged if the phone doesn't arrive in time. I will return the old phone as soon as I can safely use my new phone. Customer service was professional and courteous and I have no complaints.

I had talk to over 5+reps. Each one would very rude and disrespectful. I didn't get good rep, that actually listen until I got T-Mobile manager on the phone with me. I would never recommend any of my family or friends ever do insurance claim with Assurant.

In a word....DIFFICULT.... Instructions for loading up were not detailed enough. After 3 attempts to get the phone up and running I finally gave up And so I ended up going to Company Metro store and they got it up and running....However even they had to do it twice. They also charged me for the service $21.96 And today the phone still says the SD card is incompatible and not working....They say the only way is to format and erase all of my contacts etc etc and un-retrievable. In the end....Not Happy....Dissatisfied.

Phone would charge sometimes and sometimes not. Took to the store and the guy plugged it to different chargers. Nothing. Said it looked like water damage in the right hand corner. Claim was processed. Was suppose to receive my phone Friday. Did not get until Monday evening because of Fedex.

I recently lost my LG tablet and called in for a replacement. Well the replacement they sent me was an Alcatel which to me is not of the same quality as an LG so I sent it back and was told that they would try to prevent this happening again and when I called back after returning the device they still wanted to issue me the Alcatel tablet again so I will be canceling my insurance portion of my phone bill for the items I have....

My experience has been very poor, the replacement phone sent was not received, FedEx left a “we missed you” door tag because no one was home, however their tracking is saying delivered. I have contacted T-MOBILE and Assurant and to date my elderly mother is still without a phone.

Didn't receive my phone because they got the address wrong and UPS left phone with with unknown address. It's been 2 weeks without a phone or work due to not having phone and now that they lost the phone I have to wait 14 more days while they look into where the lost phone is before sending me a new one, I can't work without my phone and that means I can't make money to pay bills. How is it they can't issue new phone, cancel this one and locate that way. I can not be held up any longer.

We went to the US Cellular store to report our need for list phone replacement - waited for an hour to get service only to have them tell us we had to do a claim online - then filled out the claim and two days later your team called us to say they needed a serial number which of course we didn’t have because the phone was lost. We called us cellular to get this and they wouldn’t give it to us over the phone so we had to go a second time in person to the store - wait and call your team back. In all it took 10 days to even have the claim submitted. Poor customer service. I wouldn’t recommend this process to anyone.

The wait for the phone was a bit much though it was timely. We live in a society where the cell phone is the lifeline; therefore, I would recommend trying to add some satellite locations so the customer can get a quicker response. 24 - 48 hours can be a life/death situation.

I contacted Fitbit because the front screen of my fitbit versa detached from the watch. I have not had the fitbit for more than a year. I called the claims line. They sent me an email for the claim. I had to submit a picture of the broken device along with a handwritten note of my claim number along with my country. They sent me a separate email to fill out the claim form. From there I was notified that a replacement would be coming.

My replacement phone needs replaced. The callers are fading out as am I on calls; then eventually the call drops. This is happening regularly. After being on line for almost 2 hours with different customer service representatives i.e. Q, Stacy, Naya and another only to find your computers were down and I needed to call back in two hours. I asked to receive a call back for my inconvenience and was told I had to call back that you don't return calls. Upon asking for a manager spoke with Stacy who apologized for my experience and said that I would receive a call back (this was April 1).. To this day I have not.
I had to call in myself on April 6. I explained my situation to Naya, was told she could not send a replacement phone until I mail my phone in which would leave me without a phone until the new phone arrived. I let her know I had an event coming up and couldn't be without my phone. Naya said I had 180 days to return this phone. I agreed but this is unacceptable; my deductible was paid as stated, Customer service was my job while in the workforce, to satisfy my customer was my main goal. I believe that Assurant has the same appreciation for its customers. My replacement phone should be on the way as when the initial claim was made. Please correct this issue, send a replacement phone for the defective replacement phone I received. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter, loyal T-Mobile customer.

I opened a ticket just a few minutes before the 8:30pm ET deadline and I received the new phone at my home within 24 hours. I had it in service the next day. My screen was broken due to my negligence but that was not an issue. It was replaced very, very quickly. Actually, this is the second phone of this model that I had replaced via Assurant. I am definitely carrying the coverage on all future purchases as my personal smartphone is too susceptible to damage at work.

UPS failed to deliver my device, and when I called them I was told I would get a call back or email. Never received either. Called Assurant and was told that I now have to wait 1-2 weeks. I've already waited 2 weeks for my device. I'm very displeased.

Assurant claim dept provided the most horrible experience. 14+ yr customer made a claim and going on 3 days and still not able to get my replacement phone. My phone was discontinued and the reps were not willing to give me S20 that is in the same tier as the s10. It was so hard to understand the reps due to their strong accent the had me on the phone over 2 1/2 hours during one of my many calls and kept transferring me to avoid my request. I request to speak with a manager and this will be the 3 day that my request has not been honored. More importantly, I still don't have a phone that I paid insurance for.

Your insurance company is the worst by far. It took you 16 days to approve my claim. Originally you told me it would take 3 to 5 business days then ask for another five business days. It was a constant struggle to understand why the claim was not being approved. First you claim that I need original receipt where the phone has been insured for 20 months and no one ever asked for receipt when I first insured it almost 2 years. T-Mobile has a plan called bring your own device and when I first insured it no T-Mobile or your insurance company ask for a receipt. Then one of your supervisor said that the day the phone was lost I had no coverage and I added the coverage 10 days after. I had to get T-Mobile customer service involved and spend countless hours everyday arguing what should have been an easy process.
When you get insurance it should be peace of mind not you're going to lose your mind because you have some idiotic supervisors. I paid $18 for nearly 2 years only to pay $250 deductible and run around in circles to finally get my T-Mobile iPhone approved. I would never and share with you again and if you're thinking of getting their insurance don't. I have already canceled and have no regrets about it. I had coverage on the phone from first month and my claim should have been handled a lot more professionally and courteously. If there was zero Stars or negative Stars you would get it.

I filed a claim for a damaged Samsung A11. You incorrectly sent a Samsung a10e. I called your agent who said to return it and you would send the A11. I returned the A10E but you have not sent the A11. You have not fulfilled my insurance claim. This has taken almost two months and no resolution. It is unacceptable customer service.

Dropped phone when buying protective case that was not offered when picking it up from T Mobile. The drop cracked the screen. Phone also breaks up both transmitting and receiving. This is recorded on 611 calls to T Mobile. Changes screens without touching screen. Changes settings on its own with no input from me. Most annoying of which to me is putting itself into silent mode (no ringer) causing me to miss calls and changes screens AND home screen icon placement without being touched. The list goes on. Excellent customer service and fast shipment! Received the next business day. Iphone 6 plus quality is good: sound check, VR check, and screen resolution is clear. Camera has no problem and there are no scratches, almost like a new phone.

I filed a claim on March 26th, 2021. I received a replacement on March 30 that did not work. I send it back and received another one on April 3,2021. It still was not working. The power on both was not coming on. I sent back the phone and Assurant sent me phone number 3 on April 7, 2021. It was still not working. I sent it back April 7, 2021 and asked for a refund because going through this as a loyal customer have been stressful and depressing, I do not want to repeat receive a phone that do not work a fourth time. After going through at this for 12 days I waS told I have to wait 10 days before they refund me my $149.00. I paid up front in order to get a replacement on March 26, 2021.

They were out of stock on the IPhone 11 and that’s the phone to be replaced. And I did not receive the same color that I originally had. It was nine days before I received an email. And I never got a phone call. I was the one who Initiated the phone call.

I called the first time and after explaining the best I could the state of my phone was told that the insurance I'm paying for doesn't cover that and I had to go thru Warranty. So after spending more time with the nice lady she said, "We could repair your phone but I believe your insurance that you're paying for will cover that issue," because I cannot go 2 to 4 weeks without a phone. So I called Assurant back and this time spoke to a gal and explained the same thing again and she said, "Absolutely, the insurance you're paying for covers this issue," and she did her thing and asked if I would be paying the deductible payment today. And I did and I gratefully received my replacement phone the next day and was able to receive my call from my primary doctor and my Realtor and receive the call for my Covid 19 shot. I'm glad there was someone there that helped me and not making a personal judgment call. Anyway thanks to the gal that helped me. God bless.

I was told I would be given notice when you received my damaged phone, I did not. 10 days is not enough time when some people work multiple jobs or only have 1 car or have kids etc. It was very stressful and I barely got the phone out on time. Additionally the statement said you must receive the phone within 10 days, not post marked 10 days. I have no control over usps. They could've lost the phone, been late, whatever. That is not under my control and that should be accounted for.

My replacement phone was to be shipped FedEx overnight, and it took 3 days for it to arrive, which delayed me by returning my damaged phone. Not your fault, but thought it should be brought to your attention. I was without calling and texting abilities for 3 days. A rather difficult situation as I own a business.

It was a good experience, the rep was polite and it was easy to make the claim. The only confusion was that to pay the deductible the system wouldn't take it and I had to give my cc info to the rep which I rather do without.

I returned a Note 9 and was told first I returned an empty envelope. They then said maybe the post office may have lost it. Now I'm stuck with the bill as if I never had insurance. Thanks for nothing. A0's I also heard it happens a lot. I wish for a class action.

The protective film was peeled back from the screen/camera. Hair and dirt stuck to the film. Super grossed out that I had to touch that. Even the return envelope was ripped and I had to tape it closed to return my broken device.

I've called multiple times and was hung up on. I've made claims multiple times and never had to go through so much run around. I've sent over requested documents and was told it will take 24 hours. It's been 4 days since I sent over the documents! Unacceptable!

My claim was quick and easy when I entered it online. Replacement deductible price was more affordable than when I was on another carrier's protection plan. The replacement device came looking and working as brand new. The shipping also came a day earlier than projected. They included the shipping return box prepaid, so the return was also easy. The note collection from Samsung has been my go-to in phones. Only thing is the screens are fragile. Usually, I put in my claim and I receive my replacement phone immediately. Replacing a phone is a hassle but being without one is the worst. I've always received excellent service with Assurant. Even this time, when it took way longer to approve my claim the reps were very responsive in my concerns.

The process was smooth and easy. The customer service was great. However, the phone I received has problems. The speaker doesn't work correctly and about half the time it doesn't respond to what I'm touching. So I'm stuck with a phone that isn't much better than my broken phone.

I was under the impression I was to receive a loaner phone and then mail in my phone for repair and then have to exchange them again... Not the case... I almost paid over 400 to repair my screen at a local shop just to avoid the hassle of dealing with an insurance company.. But after calling Tmobile I was easily instructed on how to file my claim online... It was very easy to complete the form... The claim was quickly approved and in just a couple days I had a (refurbished) like brand new phone complete with all of the original accessories that was mine to keep.. Also a return postage envelope to send back the old one.. The whole process was streamlined.. Convenient..rapidly executed..a relief for someone who is low on free time and really terrible at paperwork and red tape.. When I first called Assurant not able to understand the man. He would not give me his name again. He became frustrated at 10 minutes. He hung up on me. The second and third ladies were no different. I was not able to understand them. 1 said her name was Honey from the Philippines. I had to go online the next day after 1 hour on the phone to finish my claim. I would like to be able to speak with American people so there won't be any language issues.

Trying to understand heavy accent was difficult. Second employee was a bit better after first call to report claim never got filed after my waiting for three days but I do realize the attempt to help was polite and sincere. Once order was filed claim was handled overnight. Very pleased overall!

The gentlemen that talk to us was very good. I just wanted info about what to do. By the time the chat was over he said my claim was approved. That pleased me very well. It took a few days because of the weekend but I got my new phone by 9 am Monday morning.

I received my replacement device in the mail and proceeded to set it up successfully. While setting up the device I noticed the screen not always responding to my finger. I've had the phone for a few days now and it's getting worse to the point that it's difficult to use the device. My previous device I sent in never had this issue and if I would've known I was gonna get a broken phone back I would've just kept my previous device.

I paid to replace my damaged device and when the new device arrived it was damaged also and when I called the reps said that I need to send both devices back. Which would leave me with no device. This is the worst service I've had.
