I paid to replace my damaged device and when the new device arrived it was damaged also and when I called the reps said that I need to send both devices back. Which would leave me with no device. This is the worst service I've had.

My replacement came quick and effectively. Set up was easy and the return item was easy. It came ups straight to my door with nothing broken or discrepancy with that product received. The claim process was easy.

They were great, on time. I love this insurance company phones that are cheap. Should be cheaper though on the deductible. My phone was in great condition when it came. Hook up was easy. Great instructions inside. Sent my old phone back in prepaid envelope.

I Order replacement phone on Wednesday and received the replacement phone on Friday. No downtime on loss of phone, the online claims was quick and easy only after we went to store and found out it had to be done by phone or online...

I'm very happy I got a new phone 2 days after I filed a claim. I will definitely keep paying phone assurance. My phone broke. I was scared they will not give me a new phone but they did. Thanks Tmobile.

This was the most fast and simple claim I've ever had the chance to experience! The only small gripe was the fact that it takes, 1 day to file the claim, then 1 day to be able to pay the deductible amount for the claim to process, and then in 1 day your phone arrives. This is still insanely fast and actually arrived before the 24 hrs so that was awesome. I wish you could file the claim and pay the deductible the same day so instead of a 3 day process it is a 2 day process. There was no trouble with the 3rd party trying to not get my phone replaced, there was no suspicion from the company to the owner of the phone, and there was no hesitation in getting the claim moving asap!
Honestly this is how every company should be with anything a customer is paying for and their formula of not being around the bush, but just straight and simple is the way everyone should adopt into. Not just their companies but overall mottos. I gained a lot of trust with Assurant as a 3rd party extended warranty for anything now with this first time experience! You guys saved me from getting a new phone that's worth hundreds and at one point 1.5k!

The process was super quick and easy. I was worried that they wouldn't help or that I was going to have to go through a lot of steps. I had been having problems for over a year that reached a point of the phone not functioning so I had to take action. I had a new phone the very next day. I'm glad I continue to pay for coverage even after the phone was paid off.

I called twice for the same device. Both times I was told I would receive an email, to follow those direction both time. I never received anything.. I had to call T-Mobile and complain when the rep was like check the website and that was how I finally processed the claim.. Thanks to T-Mobile not your company..

The phone sent out is showing a BLACK and YELLOW SCREEN. I've been with T Mobile for seven years and this has never happened, I'm really disappointed. I understand that the phone isn't brand new but it shouldn't be. These days a phone is so important. Please contact me as soon as possible.

I needed assistance to complete the claim & visited the nearest T-Mobile store. I was very pleased with the professionalism of both individuals representing Assurant & T-Mobile. I was not able to use the website on my own after it disconnected during a chat; this happened for my lack of skills in using the system. My replacement cell phone was received by express delivery the following day, March 17 or 18. Thanks to all involved!

We waited 20 days for processing the claim and finally received the replacement phone. Went to the Metro store to get it activated. We called Assurant and they said that the phone y'all send us can't be activated and y'all never sent the email with the shipping sticker to print off to send it back. Said within 24 hours. That was 7days ago and still nothing. I am livid. This phone is my 14 year old son's phone and he needs it. Unacceptable on all levels. I paid the $50 so my son should have his phone.

When my phone stopped holding a charge I called Assurant and spoke to a staff member who took all of my information, said he'd have a replacement phone sent and gave me the instructions for sending in the old phone after I received the replacement. The new phone arrived the next evening to my door and included a postage-paid return label and instructions for Fedexing it to Assurant. Excellent service!! No waiting on hold during the call. Pretty amazing. Thank you!

Took too long. Why do you have to review every time. If it's broke? It's broke. It took over 6 days. Totally ridiculous.. I called twice. And was completely happy with the person I talked to. But that didn't change the fact that it took way too go long. Luckily, I don't need it by for my job or I would be fired no thanks to you.

Takes too long to get through to someone to talk to about your claim on phone. The gentleman I had help though was very helpful with all my claim. My phone did come right away when we got the claim submitted right.

My experience was satisfactory. Cannot complain about anything. I was just a little confused on how to sent that device back. More instructions are need with that because the box had a USPS label printed on the box and a FedEx label also. I just sent it back with the post office.

It took almost a month for me to get a response from Assurant. I had to walk in a T-Mobile store to get further assistance. Soon as the employee called and got someone the phone that same day I got approved and got my replacement 2 days later.

I would recommend anyone to go through Assurant, they get your claim processed in a timely manner and have great representatives to help you step by step. They also deliver your device with a stamped package to return old devices back to them. Great company.

Put in a claim because I dropped my phone, it cracked and the screen stayed black. Received a replacement phone on or around 3/25. The replacement phone keeps shutting down and restarting on its own...randomly. It has not been dropped or damaged.... at this point what should I do?

Experience was great. Phone was shipped and received promptly. Returning the old phone was trouble-free with no problems. $99 price is not bad for replacing a $800 phone. Assurant is definitely recommended!

Aside from MetroByTmobile horrible customer service, when it comes to assisting one in a respectable and timely manner, I would have to say that I recommend Assurant Phone Insurance to any of my friends. I still have issues with my phone service, due to its inept way of keeping their customers longer than a few monthly payments.

I am extremely thankful to the manager who contacted me because of my original review, she listened to what happened and within 5 minutes the issue was resolved, my replacement for locked replacement phone was on the way, I printed the label to return via Fed Ex and all is well. I was impressed they got back to me so quickly because I've had other good experiences that were fast and issue free but this time that wasn't the case and within 24 hours of the issue it was resolved. I am super frustrated, they sent me a messed up replacement after fighting with them for denying my claim by "mistake" and I got the phone super fast and was super excited my son would be able to reach me only to find out they sent me a phone that is LOCKED and T-mobile can't even help me. I called them for help and sat on hold for over 10 minutes, only to get hung up on 2 times. When I finally got someone they said they won't send out a new replacement until they receive the phone AND it is USPS, so my autistic child will have no way to contact me, so I have to call into work. I am furious and disgusted at how they do business. They made a mistake and I am paying for it.

Worst experience ever.. System was having glitches and they made it seem like I didn’t know what I was doing.. I’m very experience with computers.. I did a claims on a Wednesday and I had to fill out 4 different forms on different days because the system keep on saying I didn’t do it.. I even fill a form out with a Manager that approve the claim on Friday.. The system didn’t upgrade until Saturday.. I get my replace device until Monday.. The worst and bad experience ever..

Tmobile admittingly made a change to my plan w/ out me knowing and tried to let you know that and that my plan was changed back to what I had understood it to be all along but yet you still denied mine and then request to switch it back?? Do you REALLY consider yourselves to be ethical acting this way? I have faithfully paid between $6000-7000 each of the past 6 years for 5 lines of insurance coverage BARELY having ever used it and you have raked all that in and yet deny me over $150 difference so my wife and I decided that we will not be continuing to do business w/ you. Hope it was worth it.

I made an insurance claim on my phone. I spoke with a friendly, competent representative who had my new phone to me within 48 hrs. The representative informed me of the website option to follow the status of my claim and I was pleasantly surprised to have an email within an hour stating my claim was approved and my phone was on its way.

If I could give negative stars I would. I paid 3 years for insurance totaling over $300 plus a deposit of $200, just to end up with a phone that is 3 years old and not going to be supported by Samsung. I will have to pay another deductible next year when my apps start failing again. I could have paid the same price for an upgrade to the newest phone in my tier without insurance. This insurance company is a rip off. Metro should have continued with their old insurance company.

This is one of the very worst experience I have had since I had this insurance over the last 7 years or longer...tried to blame it on Apple and when we get apple on the phone about my iPhone Assurant hangs up the phone 3 times.. As of last week I’m moving all 6 of my phones from Xfinity. If they do business with a company like yours then I will happily take my business somewhere else.. Very poor customer service!!! Poor service as a hold..

I was very pleased with the ease in both receiving and returning a cell phone. A new phone arrived the day after I submitted a claim and returning the phone was very simple after I transferred my data from my old phone to the new. The customer service rep was polite, courteous and helpful during the short conversation that took place.

I dropped my phone and my screen was demolished... I set up my claim online and the next day was approved and the next day I received a replacement! No hassle nor drama, they constantly sent emails keeping me up to date with the process! I was nervous because usually insurance of electronics means hoops and fires to jump through but none of that!

I am giving 4 stars because Assurant itself did a good job in processing my claim and was fast and easy to do. Shipping was fast but the package came damaged and very wet. As you can see in the pictures, the box, the inside and even the sleeve where the phone was it were moist. The paperwork was wet as well. I checked the SD card port to check for moisture and it looked dry so I proceeded to set it up. As of now the phone has been working fine but I felt I needed to report this in case the phone stops functioning at any point soon. Please review attached images of damage. Thank you

Filed a claim for a lost phone and it took over a week for them just to process my claim. No temporary replacement device was issued. I had to use an old phone with a damaged screen while waiting for a replacement to arrive. I missed days worth of calls and messages because of this. When someone reports a lost or stolen phone why is it expected they go over a week without one, the processing time is far too long

Replacement phone did not work. I continually lost sound when making or receiving phone calls. I ended up returning replacement phone and sticking with my broken screen phone. The process of going through the insurance was easy but getting a refurbished phone always worries me and my worries were validated.

My phone got messed up and I had to pay for a replacement and they send me a old phone. This is ridiculous. I made payments every month for insurance for this phone and this company have the nerve to send me a old phone. I didn't appreciate that. Bad customer service. Thanks.

Wonderful service and quick response. The only thing I would have changed is to be able to choose another shipping destination. Fortunately I was at home to receive the package, but I usually do not have boxes shipped to my home. We have had packages taken so I would have liked to have been able to change my address.

Paid $6.00 a month then $60.00 deductible and still you people have the the nerve to ask for the cell back to perhaps use its parts, when in reality I paid cash for it. Then if not send back you will charge $. I could see that in a car which you still owe money to the bank but when dont owe money on a cellphone it's just plain rip off.

I put the claim in. The serial number was wrong but no one ever told me it was wrong. I then called back at which time they took my number to call back. The call dropped and they didn't call back. This happened 3 other times. Each time I had to contact them. I had to get angry with the man on the phone before he got my claim processed. This process was terrible.

After a week and a half my claim wasn't processed. I finally used their chat to talk to someone about it and she didn't know why it hadn't gone through yet either. She was able to do it 5 minutes, why did I have to go a week without a phone for a 5 minute process??

The shipping time for the replacement phone was amazing, I didn’t expect to receive it overnight. However, the replacement device itself was horrible. When I try to answer calls on the phone it often goes silent and I have to either wear headphones or put the call on speaker to talk. The person on the other line can hear me, but I cannot hear them, it started the first day I received the phone. I restarted the phone and it worked fine for a bit but now it’s not working again. I have to keep restarting the phone in order for it to work. It’s honestly very annoying, I would replace the phone again but do not want to pay another $99 for a replacement when I did not cause the issue. Very upset about this.

The iPhone 7 replacement phone will not hold a battery charge. The phone loses its charge after about 5 hours. After paying 149 dollars I would have thought I would have gotten a better replacement. I feel like the replacement phone wasn’t a new phone.

Assurant Ins. is the best way to go when initiating a new claim. We have had this company since we've had these phones. The support tech team is fantastic! The replacement phone sent to me has had numerous problems which I outlined in another review. It's like they took someone's old phone and reset it then stuffed it in a drawer for a couple of years. I spent a couple of days doing security updates trying to get it to work right. Now...on top of this...Hannah from their customer service reached out to me and the best she could offer to do is knock the dust off of another one and send it out. I explained that I wasn't really interested in going through this again with another old phone. When I asked about a refund she said I would have to send in the device they sent which means...since I already sent in my old one who's problem was just a faulty audio jack...I would be out of a phone which was already paid for. Absolutely incredible. These people are awful.

They helped me find somewhere to the screen fixed, but when there wasn't enough time, they changed it to a replacement phone. The phone arrived in 2 days. The customer service representative was helpful from the time that they answered until we hung up.

My screen on phone was cracked and they handle pretty swiftly by sending me envelope for return and also confirm they received my old phone was a plus for me. Communication is key. I would recommend a friend or relative to have their phone insured.

I started the claim because of the device wouldn't charge, a device malfunction, which should've been replaced for free. However, because of a small crack, my claim was denied for the malfunction but approved cosmetic. I feel cheated. I understand that if I wanted to replace the phone because of the crack I'll have to pay the deductible, but that was not the reason I needed a new phone.

I am highly disappointed to get a used phone with a bad screen protector after been deprived of a phone for 8 days despite paying my phone bills and insurance diligently. Also, the box came empty with no charger or earpiece and I wasn't even compensated for the delay and all the mental and psychological stress. I regretted migrating here. I will never ever recommend your network to anyone.

Did the insurance claim turned in everything needed after waiting 3 days for approval paid deductible waited 5 days to receive replacement phone all paperwork showed I was shipped a blk Note 20 but what I received was a rose gold Note 20. When I called in regards to the issue I got attitude from the person on the other end of the line.

I broke my phone, had Assurant insurance through Xfinity, they lost my first replacement. I never recieved. Called several days and they had no answers. On the ninth day they reordered another replacement. It took 10 days to get my replacement and it was NOT the same color phone. I pay good money for a replacement insurance. You would think I would get the same color phone a lot sooner than I did, very disappointed!!!!

You did not have the correct number in your account that was insured. It will take 4 days to turn my phone back on. Should only take minutes. People are polite but your process really is incompetent! Worst experience ever. My phone was not shipped overnight. I was told to call UPS. I called UPS and was told to call Assurant. I did a 3way call because neither party was assisting. 3 hours later Assurant cold transfers me to T-Mobile. Part of the issue is being routed to people overseas who could care less what your issue is. I tried to cancel my claim because I was going out of town the next day and needed my phone. Oh well lady, nothing they could do. Assurant said to refuse delivery even though I said 10 times, I wouldn't be there to refuse or accept the delivery. Oh well, nothing we can do. The tracking number they sent would not pull up anything for UPS. Which according to UPS means they hadn't yet shipped it from Assurant facility. The first person I spoke to said it hadn't shipped yet either but the so called Supervisor I spoke to last said it had shipped already so it couldn't be canceled.

I paid for the insurance and replacement through you guys. I waited on the new phone arrived. I received it and when I went to activate it. It said it could not be activated. I took it to the Metro store and they tried to activate it. I was there for almost 3 hours. They basically said that I couldn't. They wanted to calling you all and y'all told me to send it back. I sent it back and I was told as soon as I put it in the mail that I would receive a phone the next business day. It has been at least four days I believe since I put it in the mail. I even called you all the second day and they said that I should receive a new phone within 3 days. This was the worst experience ever! I had to submit my driver's license several times. I emailed it I uploaded it twice. Each time I spoke with a salesperson I was guaranteed I was being processed when in fact I wasn't. It took over 9 days to finalize this process. This experience left me feeling stressed out. Not only was it inconvenient I lost money. I would rather just buy another phone than to ever deal with this Insurance company again. The salespeople were nice but process of retrieving a phone was unorganized. I normally would not complain but this was outright ridiculous time consuming and a shame. People rely on their phone for their lively hood and to be without it for 9 days was disastrous on many levels.

I have been a customer with T-Mobile for 6 years! Throughout those 6 years I have had insurance through Assurant. I broke my phone, processed a claim and paid $99. Assurant sent me a phone that froze ALL THE TIME! I called to tell Assurant that the phone they sent was broken and they told me to send the phone they sent back and then they could send me another phone. That would mean I would go without a phone for an entire weekend! They didn’t want to accommodate me or help me at all!
After all these years of paying this company they treat me as if I'm nothing.. They screwed up! You sent me a broken phone after I paid $99 for a good working phone. But expect me to go without a phone or continue using a phone that continually freezes! After all these years I’ve paid Assurant WAY MORE THAN $5000. I have 4 iPhones and have been paying for the best insurance for 6 years! To be treated like crap! I hate Assurant and will no longer be going through this company! I am gonna cancel my insurance and if any damages happen to my device! I’ll find another company because this company has no care for their customers!

Received my replacement LG device via FedEx quick enough I suppose (within 3 days) although the $40 deductible seems high considering the insurance is $7/month and the device only cost $80 new if I were to have purchased a replacement instead.

When I filed a claim on Friday last week they sent a confirmation. The phone arrived on Monday this week and after transferring all info and data to the "new" device I attempted to activate it and got a message that said "device network locked". We spent from 630pm till about 930pm on Monday trying to figure it out. Then they told me that they could not ship me another one until we shipped them the one that they sent me that was locked. We argued and I requested to speak to a manager. I was told they would call me and waited till 1030pm without a call. I got on the phone Tuesday this week at 9am and was on the phone 3 times until 1230pm trying to get it figured out and they STILL refused to ship me a new functional device until they seen ours on the way back. I had to send my wife to the post office to get a scanned receipt so they'd ship me another phone. That phone arrived Wednesday.
To recap my phone claim was submitted on Friday March 19th, I received a "network locked" device on Monday March 22nd, I called that evening. Was on the phone for 4 hours, on March 23rd I spend another 4 hours on the phone and STILL did not get resolution. I'd rate this experience one that will stick with me to use as a teaching example for my employees on what NOT to do when dealing with customers. I asked your employee for his last name and he told me no, these are things that make me wonder how you can allow this to happen. I would not recommend your service to anyone ever.

Was a complete stressful process. First guy sent me back to T Mobile instead of the person to take my payment. Second girl spoke very very very little English. Could not understand her and she had NO clue what she was doing. So 2 more calls to T Mobile and 1. 5 hours total time spent. The 3rd guy finally took my payment to complete my order. This was so unnecessary. I hope I never have to file a claim again.. It was painful dealing with this company!!!

When I received my replacement phone it was damaged and they would not replace the damaged phone that I received in the mail. They informed me that it was not their problem and there was nothing that could be done. I called US Cellular and they told me that they were to replace it and they still refuse to replace it.

Filed claim 3/22 expecting resolution w/in promised 24 hours. On 3/25 was told a phone would be shipped out before weekend. It is 3/26 & now they say they have no phones available. None. Zero. They verbally offer to allow me to purchase a phone & be reimbursed at replacement value -deductible but refused to document offer with replacement value in writing. Supervisor told me my carrier would help by billing me for the phone but guidelines for reimbursement require a paid in full recpt. I purchased a phone from carrier AND am having to pay for shipping to my daughter. Carrier wished me luck getting reimbursed. Said to expect at least a month of haggling. I plan to haunt them daily until paid.

So I filed this claim on my LG k51 and after about 2 weeks I finally called to see what exactly was taking so long. For some reason the representative said it didn't process. Received the phone 3 days later. And it upset me that for 2 weeks it was just sitting there but when I tried to return my iphone for repairs I missed the deadline to have it repaired and was basically told I was out of luck. Horrible service. Would never recommend any one who buys an iPhone. Insure thru another insurance.

The service and accountability is very poor and I'm going to end all 8 of my lines of insurance because there is no reason for a person to make a claim and it takes 3 days to complete and when asked about being compensated for all of the troubles I was told "there is no compensation no matter what the reasons".

I filed a claim on a phone that stopped working. While waiting for the replacement phone from Assurant My husband lost the phone that we had filed the claim on. I called to have the claim switched from damaged to lost and was told they could not do that, that I would have to return the phone that I got from the insurance that I pay monthly for or pay the 900 for the phone. Then proceeded to tell me I could not then put a claim on the lost phone to get a replacement. I pay insurance for the phone. That insurance is supposed to cover either lost or damaged phone. They 100% backed out of that agreement. Worst customer service also!

Filed my claim after 4 pm and received the replacement within 24 hours. I dont understand the deductible being as high as when the phone was brand new and there is hardly anything owed on it. But whatever.

It took weeks to be approved. They didn't ask for any new information but still the process took a while. I reached out and they said it was approved but waiting to process the payment??? They asked if it was okay to process. How long was it just waiting to process? I put all my information in in order for them to process it when I initially did the claim. Not happy with the whole situation.

I wasn't dissatisfied with the customer service part but instead the quality of the product. My replacement phone stopped working all of a sudden. I ended up having to take a detour on my way home. I got lost I couldn't call for help and It was late at night. what is the point of using insurance on my devices if they are going to send me junk.

So Assurant sent me a new device after filing a claim and when I had sent back my old device the mail carrier lost my package and I reported this to assurant's spokesperson after receiving a letter stating that I would be back charged and now I am being charged because they still have not received my old device even though I was not responsible for losing it.

I spent hours on the phone with this company & US Cellular trying to get this resolved. I paid for the protection + for the phone for over 2 years., then on top of that I had to pay $175 deductible & had to return the damaged phone. A real pain to work with, the website is not helpful.

I thought when I had to get a replacement phone I was getting a new phone instead I got a refurbished one. After all of the monthly insurance payments I make over the past two years and I had to pay $100 for a refurbished phone. I don’t think that’s right.

I spent a total of 14 hours on the phone over a 2 day period and talking to more than 5 customer service representatives and 3 supervisors and being told over and over that my “Boyd’ was covered under manufacturer warranty or that I had NO coverage even though I paid for coverage and my phone was inspected and approved by T-Mobile for insurance. Initially I received a denial based on your standpoint that my device was under manufacturer warranty. Even though I explained numerous times that I bought the device in 2018 and my warranty expired in June of 2019. Finally after T-Mobile spending 2 hours on phone with you and myself another 3 hours I received a 2nd letter approving my claim. It should not have taken 14 hours and 2 days on the phone and me being rude to get coverage that I pay for.

Not very helpful... when I wanted a return or cash refund. I paid $250.00 for a replacement iPhone... called back same day 1 hour later. They told me they had already requested a new phone but their website indicated that they had not even sent the request thru! So 3 days to get the phone to return and 3 days to return the phone. 2 days to say that had it! How they said 10 business days to issue a refund. Why don’t you just credit my debit card... you took the money in 10 seconds but it will be at least 3 to 4 weeks before I get my money back. Very dissatisfied.

With Xfinity mobile protection plan thru Assurant it took only a few minutes to submit claim for my broken phone. The replacement phone was delivered the next day. Inside the box was also a return label to return the broken phone. So easy!!!!

I lost my phone by accident. Filed a claim to use my protection plan to get a new phone. I had paid my deductible. Next day they sent me a phone that at the Metropcs store were not able to connect because it was block. I never got the prepaid UPS sticker to send it back out of charge. I had to pay the UPS out of my pocket $14.49 to send the phone back. I was without a phone for a week. Very inconvenient for me because due to my health I have to travel to the hospital various time during the week.

I was sent a replacement phone and it arrived quickly like with 24hrs. Phone worked except for the camera! Tried everything to get it to work. They were supposed to send me a mail slip to print out so I could send the phone back, well it never came in my email. Called a second time and it didn't arrive in my email. NOW I'm waiting for them to sent it through mail. So I have to wait to send it in and wait for the to receive it before they will send another! This is my 12yr old daughter's phone and she's going to be without a phone again for days because their CSR don't know what they're doing. Did I mention I paid a deductible too! Very upset over this. This is a situation where they take your money every month then you pay a deductible for people to not help you and send you broken used products. This is my kid's phone to have for safety and emergency purposes!

This was the second phone within 6 months that I had to get replaced due to the charging system. And each time they made me keep the same phone charger. I won't use it anymore because I'm not sure that the charger could be some of the problem. The phone is ok not enough features.

My phone broke on Christmas and because of a address problem on your end it was Mar 16 before I got my phone. I was obligated to make 3 monthly payments while I had no phone. 2nd I paid $1k for a phone & you sent a ** PURPLE replacement. If someone spends over $250 on their phone they should get what they paid for to the color. If you are out of that phone in that color you send an upgrade phone that has an overhead cost that is reasonable. OR ARE YOU TOO GREEDY for that?

I'm not usually one to bring up negative experiences but this one was awful. I received damaged equipment (not my fault) and had to return. WOW! ONE OF THE WORST EXPERIENCES EVER. I asked to get the replacement expedited (again, not my fault that I received damaged product) and they couldn't do. I asked that another one be sent and was told that damaged unit had to be in "In Transit" status. I dropped damaged phone back yesterday and had to elevate to Supervisor so they could override. All this extra time that Assurant thinks that I have! NOW I get to spend even more time on the phone with Tmobile explaining to them why they won't have the original device within 10 days... Terrible Terrible Terrible.

Claim went fine and tablet arrived just in time. But they gave me a tablet that doesn’t work. I can’t get service anywhere. No data and to top it off it takes too long to charge. I called and they have no clue what they are doing. They have me doing the same steps over and over. They really were no help at all. Haven’t replaced it because they still want me to go through the same steps even tho I tried but still doesn’t work. I don’t know what part of that they don’t understand.

I got a upgrade to a Samsung galaxy s21. When you give a customer a upgrade phone, at least send a new charger that work for the phone. The charger for my Samsung 6 edge Plus do not work on the s21. I called the same day and spoke with a representative, he promise me a charger. Still No CHARGER!!!

Both the process and return was quick and easy. The cost was true to what was stated. The only hard thing was trying to obtain the IMEI number from a broken phone but I worked through it after multiple attempts and got the information.

Within 4 days of receiving my replacement phone everything started crashing. I had to have a working phone for work and was left with no choice but to go trade it in and buy a new phone. What's the point of filing and paying for a claim if device being sent out does not even work correctly.

I received a replacement phone from Assurant and used it for several days with no problems. Suddenly most of the apps would crash soon after opening them or they stopped opening altogether. I called Assurant. The rep was nice and placed me on a brief hold, then came back and told me it was my carrier's responsibility to replace the phone. I called T-Mobile but they weren't available after hours.
I read Assurant's contract and the warranty for the defective replacement phone. Both said Assurant would supply another replacement if needed. I called Assurant back. They stuck to their guns, insisting it was my carrier's responsibility to replace the phone. I asked them to e-mail me or even read to me this program parameter but they refused. I asked if this was written online and the response was "It should be." So now I need a phone and I'm sure my carrier won't provide it and Assurant has already refused twice. So they're going to send me back and forth to each other and all I can do is file complaints and bad reviews and spend $1,000+ on another phone.

When I received the device and when I went to switch over phones I had to go through 3 different system upgrades. It was not even prepped for me which made it so inconvenient. Once I did update I followed the instructions provided which were not very thorough it did not let me move forward due to a tmobile/metro network not being mapped and it didn't let me add one. It said I did not have the permissions. I called customer support at metro and they said they could not help me and that I would have to find an office and go in. That was after I waited over 30 more minutes the following day. I am so disappointed in tech support.

I was very dissatisfied with my service with Assurant. First reason, I was sent a phone that was previously marked stolen so I was never able to activate replacement phone. Secondly, when I called Assurant they gave me the run around for days. Today I still do not have a phone and do not know when a replacement phone will be sent out. They did not want to compensate me for giving me a stolen phone or for rush ordering a stolen phone. It is unfair that I have to be without a phone for almost a week now.

They sent a similar phone than the one my wife has. We returned the old phone. The new phone is working well. We are much satisfied with the service that Assurant gave us.

I received the OTHER device quickly, and returning my device was easy. The device that was given to me DOES NOT FUNCTION WELL. It keeps shutting off and now doesn't load YouTube. Which I the only thing I use it for. Very disappointed. I have had it for a week.
