    It took forever for me to get my phone back. I had made two prior claims before I ended up making a third claim. First claim said I had no insurance but I did. The second claim answered all of my questions wrong where I could not get another phone back by the customer service representative.     When my phone was stolen, I immediately call my provider to turn the phone off. They checked to make sure that no other calls had come in. The online process trying to get to someone to file a claim was a big problem. I could not get through to submit my claim. I had to go into the store and they called so that I could finish the claim. If I have one complaint it would be the serial number is a huge number. I linked to the Assurant site through my carrier and I wish that number would have transferred over.     This was by far the worst claims experience I've ever had with any customer support. I broke my phone and was instructed to file my claim online. I did so and provided the phone number of a phone I could be contacted on in case anything came up, as my phone was broken, NOT the phone number of the broken phone. This was NOT indicated by the online claims process as shown in the attachment, that the phone number they requested was for the broken phone. As I continued through the claims process, there were multiple questions asked to confirm the identity of the phone broken (including the IMEI of the phone), so why would the phone number of the broken phone be needed.

    After the claim was filed I got a notification that I was being sent the incorrect phone on my account. I had an S10+ and was being sent an S10. I advised your team, at which point I was instructed to deny the package once it arrives. Simple enough... or so I though... After finding this out I contacted my local T-Mobile store to take advantage of an amazing trade in value they had, however I could not do so until I had the claim completed under the right phone. I was instructed to wait until the phone arrived at the warehouse to then return and trade the newly replaced phone for the deal... After calling daily for a few days after the package was denied by myself, I asked what was taking so long for the package to be "scanned into the warehouse" as they could confirm they received the package but they could not "scan" it.

    Not only do they not work weekends but they quarantine the packages for 8-10 business days after they receive them, which is why my phone wasn't being scanned in. This is quite possibly the most idiotic thing I've ever heard. QuArAnTiNiNg A pAcKaGe!?!!? What is this the medieval times!? Nonetheless, against my better judgement I exercise the most patience and wait... I still call every day, if not every other day to check if my phones been scanned in.

    A whole month and a half later I get sick of calling, I get loud with a rep and tell them to get a manager of the phone because this is getting ridiculous. Come to find out that the phone was scanned in over 2 weeks ago, and every representative I spoke to between then had been lying to me, saying the phone was not scanned in. Because of this, I missed out on the deal that T-Mobile was offering and had to explain the entire rigmarole with Assurant with them to have any saving Grace. And because I had no phone for a month I had to borrow a phone from a friend to use my SIM card in so I wasn't completely without a device. Which caused further issues with T-Mobile because of the length of time it took to reach resolution. BY FAR the worst customer service, claims, and insurance experience of my life. I will never forget this when I switch to Verizon.

    This was by far the worst customer service/website disaster that I’ve ever experienced. I had to submit my identification at least 10 times and every time I called I was told something different. There has to be a better way to verify a customer than having them send in a photo id to be verified by whatever system that’s in place. It took 2 weeks to get my phone!!

    I broke my phone and filed a claim for a replacement phone. When I received my new phone in the mail, immediately went to the Metro PCS store to have it activated and set up. While the store associate was trying to set up the service on my new phone, she informed me that the phone was defective and that I would need to send it back to Assurant and request another one. She called them and they were supposed to send me a prepaid label to my email to get the defective device back to them and send out another to me as soon as the tracking was available in the system. I agreed, as it sounded like a simple thing to do. Boy was I wrong... Here I am 4 calls later to request that shipping label that they have never sent to me. I even called and asked for the address because I was willing to pay to ship it to them because I really need my phone. I don't know what else to do... It's two weeks later and still have no solution.

    I submitted my claim on April 10th. I did not receive my phone till the 20th. They sent me the wrong phone. They would not send me another phone until I sent the old phone out so I did not receive my phone for another couple of days. This was the worst experience of my life with using any type of warranty. I would never recommend this company again. The customer service was rude. The experience was awful the fact I have to pay $20 a month for insurance and wait almost 3 weeks to receive my phone.     First things first, the customer service reps are absolutely amazing. They're so nice and helpful. I've had plenty of time to speak with them because I've had to call three times. The first was the claim due to my device malfunctioning, the second was because the replacement phone I received came with a malfunctioning flashlight and the third time was to call back after ANOTHER replacement was delivered and the flashlight on the device was not working properly.     Horrible experience, first time filling a claim with my insurance paying 20 dollars for each line every month, and been without out phone for a month already, first they was having trouble completing the claim or processing the claim whatever, then they sent a replacement device and fedex left my package outside unattended. Someone grab it so when I contact Assurant they told me I have to wait 15 day so 10-15 day more without phone. They said they have to track the device and investigate.     I got a letter they did not receive my damaged phone and will be charged $900.00. Insure the package with USPS. All the supervisor could say is contact USPS.     Replacement device arrived quickly. It was a pain to get it activated which was Metro's fault not the company that provides the replacement devices. Once activated I discovered the camera has some issues and won't allow you to take pictures with the normal camera. (You can access the camera via apps like Facebook.) I had the gentleman at the metro store look at it and he says it's probably because it's a refurbished phone and there's nothing he can do. I'm probably just going to have to live with it.

    My experience with my replacement phone which is refurbished and in that lies the problem. I have had trouble with this phone since the day I got this phone about a week or so ago through Assurant. I want a new Samsung A21 so I won't have to experience any of the problems I have with my refurbished phone. It took metro pcs 45 min to get apps to work so I can download apps and this phone don't even register as a metro by pcs phone. Very unsatisfied with the whole deal with this phone. I ask myself so this is what I get when I get a insured phone through Assurant? I guess company more concerned about saving a buck than having customer satisfied.

    The process lasted from April 12 to April 17, 2021. Each time I provided information and was assured that that was all I needed, then something else would be needed. I was on the phone each night for extended periods of time. One night I begged them to please stay on the phone with me which I found out is not protocol. She got special permission to stay with me. I think her name was Leeann. She put me in contact with Lee. They both stayed on the phone with me which made me feel better. I had been in tears on prior calls from not getting help and having to listen to the entire introduction process when calling in. Then I had been dropped from calls and chats. I was at my breaking point.

    Anyway, they helped and assured me it should be ok. I finally felt at peace. I waited for another 24 hour period as they say it takes that long to process. I don’t believe that it does. I sent a chat as I was getting concerned the next afternoon. I was assured it was ok. I have the screenshot of the conversation. Then I received an email saying more information was needed. It was information that was not possible for me to obtain. After another long conversation and “special” approval from the supervisor, I was told that since it was Thursday night I wouldn’t receive the phone until Monday because of the weekend. This was not acceptable and I said as much and was told that it was because they don’t deliver on Saturday and Sunday. This was untrue.

    Our call was “disconnected”. Then we eventually received information that it would arrive on Saturday, which it did. This is the only reason I gave two stars. The mental anguish and stress and worrying about the loss of livelihood (I use my phone for my business) was extremely difficult. In addition, I would not have been able to call for emergency help if it had been needed. I have been paying the insurance and had no problem with paying the claim fee. I just wanted them to honor their insurance. I was exhausted each night I went to bed from dealing with Assurant Phone Insurance.

    It took much too long too long to receive the replacement phone. I entered the information, paid the deductible on Friday, I was told that I would have the phone by Tuesday. When it had not arrived by Thursday I could no longer be without so I found it necessary to purchase another phone with a new number because I had an online doctor's appointment Friday morning that I had to be available to for. The replacement phone arrived that afternoon so I now have two Motorola 5g Ace phones with two different numbers.

    I purchased 360 coverage insurance for my Galaxy Z Flip phone that cost $1450, paid my $99 dollar deductible. Never once did customer service advise I would not receive my Z Flip as my replacement phone. Company sent me a Galaxy S21 Plus a phone that only cost $1000. Customer service told me if I didn't like it they would refund my $99 dollars and I can keep my damaged phone. Spoke with manager Jessica or Jennifer who told me I should have received a phone of equal or upgrade and she would call me back in 24 hours. No return call.

    I contacted T-Mobile customer care and told of issue. T-Mobile (with me on the phone) contacted Assurant manager Ron who stated Jessica gave incorrect information and told T- mobile they would not honor any of the solutions advised on call and he would put in the notes I was very dissatisfied. T-mobile customer care offered me a solution and took care of my issue with great customer service. I never heard from Assurant again and then they send me a questionnaire on my trash experience about the poor customer service they provide.

    The short of it is: Assurant sent me a letter stating that they did not have my device and that they were going to charge me $2,000. I had confirmation that I sent it and called them to complain. ONLY to be told that the warehouse had not checked it. After which I was told for the FIRST time this evening they cannot correct the claim from broken to lost, which was not my fault as I did not place the claim. The manager apologized and said I was correct that no one has ever told me that and that she did not see it in the notes. The lack of communication and customer service is disgusting. This phone was for my 11 year old and Assurant did NOTHING to correct their error of terrible communication.

    I had my phone stolen on 04/13/21 and I filed the claim which was under review for 5-7 days and then they closed the claim without informing. I then called Assurant and spoke with the supervisor and he filed the claim for me because he said I filed it under wrong section and now again without getting any notification I see the claim was NOT COVERED. Even though the phone was a theft which has to cover under the insurance policy is shown as not covered. And I called the supervisor again and she said I would have to write a letter to their corporate.

    Not seamless. IT would be ideal to have a local place that could do a simple screen replacement rather than sending over a replacement phone that requires a whole bunch of set up to transfer everything. It would also be nice to have more instructions on wiping a phone before sending it back to you. Please also include the account number on the address label that sends it back to you. It took me another day to find it when it's your tracking number--if it's your number, you should provide it for yourself.

    The website was useless, human interaction was just as bad - constantly being transferred to the REAL people to help. Many TRANSFERS were never answered. Once the NEW PHONE was to arrive the next day, upon the arrival of the insured replacement (it was a slight upgrade, because they DID NOT have an exact replacement) when we opened the box there was no form or booklet to explain anything about this newer phone - but most of all it was sent without a charger for this newer phone!!!

    I emphatically request that your company expedite those things we did not receive! That is why I maintain insurance on both my phones. And to further right the horrible overall experience-a free OtterBox & screen protector for the new phone is the least your company can do to make up for the collective 6 hours we spent online & on the phone attempting to order & receive my son's replacement phone.     I don’t have enough characters to explain the whole experience, but from trying to pick up a device sent to a nearby store, where employees were demeaning, to speaking a few representatives at Assurant, even a supervisor implying that perhaps an incorrect address meant that I wanted to take advantage of keeping 2 devices, and explaining to me that an investigation that could last up to 10 days was needed In order for me to be sent a different device, what makes no sense after all, is that my billing address to receive the payment was in fact taken correctly whereas my shipping address was not, a device that was never deliver and was in possession of FedEx. All this happens by a simple incorrect address. And I was made feel like it was done on purpose to keep both devices.

    It took me more than 4 hours on the phone to finally get my claim approved. The problem was that I purchased my own phone via Amazon and, although Assurant gladly took my $ for insurance, they did not have my phone's IMBD# on file and I was never contacted by Assurant or TMobile to ask for this information. Because of this, they could not verify that my phone was 128GB, and not 64 GB. I was told at least 4 times that there was nothing they could do about it and I was out of luck. Thankfully, I contacted TMobile and they were able to help out (I had to do this at least 2 times).

    I demanded to speak to a Supervisor at Assurant (I spoke with 3 different Supervisors) and was told, each time, that they would take care of it, only to check online and find out that my claim was, once again, denied. Each time they had a different reason (we don't have the IMBD#, you supplied us with the receipt from Amazon but it didn't have the IMBD#, It's not a 5G phone, which is what TMobile said it was, etc). This took almost 2 weeks to rectify. When I finally did receive my new phone, there was no label to return my damaged phone. Most of the representatives I spoke with at Assurant were very nice and friendly, however, that doesn't make much of a difference if they can't help you! I am sure I am not the only person to have this issue (bring your own phone is widely available through different carriers). I truly believe that Assurant was just hoping to deny my claim and have me purchase a new phone. I will not be using them, anymore.

    Absolutely the worst experience. Assurant messed up this claim from the start. First, there was a question about the address I gave. Why wouldn't someone email to ask about it? Instead it was left in wonderland until I finally made the call. That is when I found out about it. Then because I am a business account I can not look at my claim online. That is another fail in your system. At this point my son should have received his phone on a Friday but because of all of your fails he didn't receive until the following Tuesday. When I called to find out about all of this I spoke to 3 different representative only to find out YOUR system was down and they could not process my $99 deductible. This also prolonged the process.

    After speaking to 3 people I was put on hold for 60 minutes! I was 2 hours in with your company on a Friday evening and was left on hold for 60 minutes. This is unacceptable. Who has 2 hours to spend with an inefficient company? From start to finish this was a disaster. Not to mention I did not get any help until I went to Twitter and Facebook. No one would speak to more or acknowledge what had happened. When a representative finally called on Sunday she told me "she was only calling because I went to social media." She could not help with a resolution. Is this normal protocol?

    Had many problems with this company in getting a phone that in great condition and not broken. Not happy with everything and still waiting for my refund. Had a previous encounter where they couldn’t find the phone I send and had to go buy a new one before they found it in their facility.

    My experience with this company was horrible. I paid the $100 deductible for a phone replacement and I received a phone that wouldn't stay on. I called the Assurant within 30 minutes of receiving the phone and was given the runaround. I was told that I would have to pay ANOTHER $100 deductible!!! Even though I had just paid them 2 days prior. I was then told that it would take 24 hour to receive a shipping label, BY EMAIL, then another 2-3 business days to receive another phone that would not be new. I sent the phone back on Wednesday of last week, today is Monday and I have yet to receive a.

    Attempted to file claim 3 times by phone. Calls dropped & never got a call back. Continued claim online & wasn't as user friendly because of prior calls, I supposed.
