I just didn’t like it because one person told me what to do and I did, he left and they assigned me to someone else and she wanted more information about I sent everything in and it wasn’t enough information. I put my items outside because they stop working. They only sent enough to cover my small item and she stated if I replace anything that was damaged to send in the receipts, I don’t have money to replace the items that’s why I pay insurance for.

    I’ve heard time after time about how insurance companies will deny your claims in order to save their bottom line but I never experienced it until now. No matter how much I explained to you the issue as to why the imei number wasn’t the one you had on file you had already found me guilty filing a fraudulent claim. Even the agents at Xfinity Mobile could not sway you. It took for me to contact the corporate brass in order to get what was owed me.     Where do I begin? The representative set up the claim with incorrect spellings. Then while calling back repeatedly the different reps kept bouncing me from representative to supervisors who kept doing the same. Instead of informing me of what was actually wrong. They requested information that was not necessary and caused a lot more extended time for me to be without phone after being informed that this was my only means of communication and I reside with a child. Their attitude was repulsive and dismissive. Regardless of what you get paid. And this is the disservice you receive.. shame on you.

Yet, I was warned in email from 5/17 that I had yet to return the device, so might be charged "the replacement value of the unrecovered claimed device".     Because the address on my ID doesn't match my billing or shipping address, which both are linked to my account, my claim was put on a 3-5 day review. So because of that I was out of phone for a week. There needs to be a better system in place to verify people. I have been paying for insurance on 3 phones for 2 years and 7 months. This is my 2nd claim, 1st on this phone. Also I should be able to ship the phone to any address. I was forced to ship the device to the address that is my service address or the billing address. I think your software system needs a makeover.

    I had a Galaxy S7 that I had battery issues with for a while. In order for me to exchange the phone, because the phone continues to overheat, and not hold a charge I had to do a warranty exchange because the back of the phone cracked due to the continuous overheating. Because of the crack In the phone I was charged $99 because of the tear that I am on. this phone is 3 to 4 years old, I feel like both of my phones should have been upgraded to the same type of phone since the phones are so old and they both had to be replaced.

    To start with I'm 70 y.o. I had a lot of issues trying to file my claim online as it highly recommended. It wasn't till I could actually talk to a representative that I was able to finally get my claims (2) started! With my $49 copay my phone replacement was delivered the next day. BUT! The issue I had with my original phone not being able to charge due to a loose connection existed with the new but refurbished replacement phone as well! I was NO BETTER OFF! BUT! The store offered me an upgrade phone for $42 with this new trade in... I had just paid $49 for it. So I demanded a refund of that $49 copay. Then got the $42 trade in! Upgrade to a 5 game! Now, finally I am happy with Assurant insurance! Thank you!

    Then on my second claim of my g-pad it was all busted up on the screen. Assurance replaced it with the $49 deductible to an upgraded version and bigger g-pad in perfect working order! Very pleased with our end results! But the online challenges were too great for me to conjure! Praise the Lord for the angel on the phone who assisted me!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

    This was my very first (hopefully last) experience with submitting an insurance claim for a lost cell phone. Actually, my service provider assisted me with filing the initial claim at approximately 4pm, and I was COMPLETELY shocked to have an email the very next morning at 8:03am requesting me to call the Claim Center regarding my claim. I called immediately and there was a minor problem with my mailing address, the apt # was missing. Once I provided that information, within a minute or two I was informed that my claim was approved and would be processed that day. Next line, they also have to.     I literally received my phone within 24 hours of putting my claim in. As soon as the phone arrived I brought an outer box and a screen protector. 4 days later I haven't even got a chance to drop the phone, and it coped out. At first I just assume the phone was dead.     I can tell you that from the very beginning, the process was flawed.. because I wound up speaking to at least five different customer service representatives, who each had a different thing to say...and I was hung up on by one of them. When I finally received the replacement phone in the mail, (after having gone through the exhausting process of trying to secure the replacement phone) I was ecstatic...That was short-lived though, right up until the activation part. I activated the phone via a customer service representative for Metro PCS, only to find out about 2 hours later, that the phone wasn't working, and of course at this point not even the original broken phone was working. I wound up having to take it to a store, and sit there where they contacted customer service... and was instructed that the phone cannot work because of something that was done incorrectly on the part of Assurant, and that I needed to take it to a corporate store. WHAT??!!

    Once I finally found a corporate store and took it there, I wound up being further inconvenienced for over an hour by being on hold with Assurant customer service... Only to find out again that Assurant had the phone listed as a "bad phone" on some list somewhere, and that I was going to have to return the phone that I had just been sent, because there was no way they could address the situation otherwise. Sooooo, I am still stuck with the same broken phone that I already paid to have replaced, because I had to have them turn it back on for me to have phone service at all.... and I have still not received the second replacement phone. So far, I am totally underwhelmed and unimpressed with your service....and I paid $60 to you guys, only to still be sitting here taking this stupid survey with the broken phone that I still need replaced anyway.

    Phone replacement I received was no good. Phone was dialing 911 emergency service on its own, screen glitching on and off, prolonged delay when trying to use the phone. After paying $99 for a non-working replacement phone Assurant sent me to TMOBILE to do a warranty exchange for a phone that never worked. You pay a monthly fee for insurance; then when you need their service that you have been paying for they charge you another $99 just to receive a non-working phone. It is a scam and a rip-off.

    When I created the claim on 4/19/21 and provided all the info required, I was told it will take 3-5 days to be approved. After 5 days and multiple calls to Assurant, I was told that the claim was re-submitted automatically and it will take 3-5 days. After 10 days I insisted to talk to supervisor and later that day (after 11 days) claim was approved.     Filed a new claim on 4/28/2021 for a replacement phone. I had just previously receive a replacement phone a few week period to new claim. Sent old phone back in mail. Assurant even can track the phone progress in transit. Once it was received to their warehouse it just sit there not scanned in until few days so that I can continue to proceed with new claim even thou they sent me an email they received old phone.

    My new claim wasn't processed immediately. I had to call to see what's going on. Even then the agent had problem finding my new claim. I had called around noon way before the cut off for overnight service for the next day which I paid on 5/7/2021 paid the $30.00 extra plus deduction fee. The phone is just sitting there in the warehouse with the fedex tracking number on it. I called fedex. They hadn't received a package from them. I explained to the customer service agent at Assurant that I'm going on vacation for 2 weeks and needs asap. Still no phone. Their customer service is very poor. I'm standing up to their obligation as they have stated if your claim is approved by the cut off line. My claim was approved since the 4/28/2021 and still no phone. It expected to arrive 5/11/2021 on the day I'm catching my flight out. Assurant need to do better.

    I filed a claim on 4/30/2021, I was told that it would be overnight. I finally received my replacement device 5/5/2021. Except it was IMEI BLOCKED. "O well maybe it was someone else's phone so they were sending me a used phone that was impossible to even activate. Sent it back yesterday, they said once I dropped it off at the post office with the tracking number and they'll overnight it. So I call and they say once they say once it is shown on the way back then they will send it. I've lost days of work, which provides a roof over my family's head. THEY ARE HORRIBLE.

    I insured a Galaxy S5. When the WiFi and Bluetooth stopped working, I filed a claim. (**) I was sent a Pixel as a replacement. I did not want this phone and told this to Assurant. After many hours of consultation with Comcast and getting the help of the Geek Squad, (with big expense) it was found that the Sim card was an used one with someone else name.... 3 times the Sim card had to be changed because they were defectives. Summary-claim for iPhone 11, returned the iPhone 11. SIM card from this iphone placed into a Moto G7 Plus which has a dual SIM slot. Somehow that is the IMEI number they now have on file (the 2nd sim spot to an active phone on my account. I did everything correct. Have all receipts and boxes to the phones stating imei #s. They were rude and uncaring. I am extremely disappointed and still hoping for my refund. Again I'm more than happy to send receipts, photos, documents but no one will take them.

Passed around to 4 different people including a supervisor which couldn't answer my questions which he then transfer me to other departments which I just went around in circles.     I spent almost an entire day trying to figure out how to use my insurance. Finally a T-Mobile associate on my third call of the day (not in store, or on my first 2 phone calls) told me to call a number to determine why my claim wasn't approved quickly.     I had to make multiple calls and it took a week for something that should have taken a day or two at most. Part of the delay was from T-Mobile giving me the wrong IMEI number also. I finally got the replacement, but it wasted a lot of my time!

    The replacement phone came without a charger. A charger was sent to me after I made a complaint and spent $25.00 plus tax for a new charger. I am not a happy camper. I am satisfied with the phone but I was not happy with the service.

    This is the worse experience... With Iphones...apparently you do not have authority to insure Iphones. You have to follow their policies so not sure why I am paying you for insurance that I cannot use. It took me 2 weeks to get one Iphone replace and I am still waiting on the other phone to be replace. I will not recommend anyone to use your insurance and I will let everyone know about the horrible experience I have ahs will trying to use this service,
