    The replacement phone I received has issues with biometric registration for security and the speaker phone is lower than normal. I did not have issues like this with my previous device. The phone did arrive in a timely manner, but it does not work well with some features.

    There was confusing info coming from Xfinity Mobile when it came to activating our replacement device. Kim was great! He stayed on hold with me and we did a three way call with Xfinity to get the CORRECT help and we were able to get the phone activated. He was AWESOME!!!! The only complaint I have with ASSURANT is that our plan is supposed to offer unlimited screen repair and they would not allow a simple screen repair for my son's cracked screen. So unfortunately, we had to get a replacement phone which cost us much more and took a lot longer to get him set up with a working phone.

    We could have had it fixed quickly while on vacation, if we were able to simply get the screen repaired. No one was able to explain to me WHY the unlimited screen repair is no longer available on our insurance plan for this phone. I will need to contact Xfinity Mobile to inquire on this when I have time. Other than that, the service from KIM (spelling?) was AWESOME! And my son now has a replacement phone that is working. Thanks!

    The T-Mobile store referred me to the Warranty company Assurant. Everyone was helpful in getting what I needed. My only problem is the phone was found but the replacement was on the way! UPS tried to deliver but I was out of the office and I still have not received it to send it back and get my refund. I was not told it would come UPS Red just UPS and those deliveries are slower. So I’m not sure where the phone is now.

    It was the worst customer service. Representatives were rude and did not listen. Did not correctly document the reason for my call. I was hung up on 5 times. I never once spoke rudely to them. I would start each conversation with "please don't hang up on me". I was in tears of frustration. They really didn't care about the customer.

    Aloha, glad I added the insurance coverage thinking I'll never need it as I dropped my Galaxy 7 before without a scratch but not this time, slipping thru my fingers screen faced down onto the pavement, there it went, shattered in multiple places. What to do? The next day The local T-Mobile store rep pointed me to the Assurant web link and frustration eased. The claim questionnaire was simple, brief but the delivery time for the replacement, took three days days, understandably from Florida to Hawaii however T-Moble boast "next day." (Claim date: 5/10/21. Received 5/13/21.)

    According to the damaged device return policy, item must be returned within 10 days in which I placed in the mailbox on 5/15/21. On 5/28/21 (2 weeks, can we trust USPS-go postal) I get an e-mail "We received your damaged device" - sigh of relief. Today it is June 1, 2021, I received a warning letter did 5/25/21 from Assurant that "we haven't received your damaged device," hmm. I would have given a 5 star if not for the miscue, in the end we both got our stuff - very good chuckle won't go postal.

Received replacement 5 days later with no key to open Sim card. Was out of town and had to wait until I returned home to have my info transferred over.     I ordered a replacement phone. It was mailed and the package was stolen from where the FedEx left it. (Which was an public area accessed by everyone). I called the police and filed a report. The police concluded that my phone was in fact stolen. I provided a police report to the claims department. They have this police report but yet I still have to wait 10-14 business days to get a decision on if they are going to replace my phone with no additional charge or replace my phone and charge me an additional deductible. So at this point I am made that I put a claim in to pay a deductible for a phone I don't have. I really just want my money refunded so I can just deal with T-Mobile and never file a claim to replace a phone ever as long as they use Assurant for their equipment replacement option.

    I filed a claim for a Z flip phone from Samsung a 1300.00 phone, we received a S21 + an 800.00 phone. There was no communication that they were going to substitute the phone. When I called in they stated that it was a comparable model. In no way is that comparable with a price difference of hundreds of dollars nor a similar color let alone a completely different style phone. I'm disgusted with how this was handled on the customer service side of this as well as their definition of comparable. When I spend 1300.00 on a phone then pay to insure it I am not ok with a replacement that is hundreds of dollars less valuable.

    I was sent a phone that was damaged. I open bag to see box smashed in one side. Opened up box and found phone damaged and now every time I put phone in my pocket the cracked screen just gets worst and worst. All of this on top of the fact that it took them over 3 weeks to send me my phone. Now I gotta send phone back before they will send me a new one so I'll be without a phone again for 2-3 days. That's if they don't ** up again and it takes 3 weeks again. I'll be reaching out to metro to find a different insurance company.

    Everything went well except it was a push to get the data transferred and sent back prior to the 10 days elapsing. It took me 8 days, as the phone will be sent back tomorrow. Additionally, the envelope sent to send the broken phone back in should have either been padded or a box.

    Was very difficult to do this online and was hard. Needed to go to T-Mobile store to get help. Make it easier to do this online and make it easier to do claims without a credit card. It's ridiculous. What if people don't have credit card, debit cards? How are they going to file a claim? You should have option to have any Bill to the T-Mobile account. If you do this everybody will be satisfied.

The person who took it from the warehouse did not weigh the package and by the time it took it to the UPS it had to go back from UPS back to the warehouse and then back to you UPS.     My experience was horrible up until I got a manager on the line and he expedited the process (meanwhile I was out of a phone for about a week). While I encountered some truly amazing customer service reps (2 out of the 5 I worked with), ultimately I had to call every day for a week in order AND speak to a manager to get my order corrected and issues resolved. I was then sent a refurbished phone with an outdated charger, that if continually used will ruin the phone's battery.

    In truth, I’m so scarred from having to work with your company that I went into my cell phone provider in person and chose to pay a little more for 360 insurance so I can deal with Apple directly and never have to worry about these things again.     I've filed claims in the past for my device and another device and I have always felt satisfied with the service BUT THIS TIME I FILED A CLAIM AND IT HAS BEEN A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Before I would file my claim, pay my deductible and I would get a message right away stating whether my claim was approved or denied. This time, not only did I have to wait 24 hours after paying my deductible but also I was required to submit my driver's license information which has never been requested before.

This time my device was sent by itself nothing else and the screen. Protector was all messed up from the top left edge.     Assurant company looks to be a company created by TMobile to safeguard TMobile from this scam. So here is the deal, I buy a phone for $600, I pay on that phone an EXTRA. $15 month. So really pay $960 for the phone. At the 18th Month Mark, the phone is LOST. I have paid $270 ($15/mo) for coverage. The DEDUCTIBLE is $249. So I have to pay $519 for a phone that BRAND NEW worth $600. A new version is out and stores are selling BRAND NEW versions of this phone for less. Not to mention, you don’t get a NEW phone, you get a REFURBISHED (USED or previous failed phone). You should at least PRORATE. the deductible based on the length. If the deductible is $300, then it should go down with each payment I make with an incident.

    I had my claim denied because of an error not on my behalf. Had to call Spectrum just to verify my phones were covered. Had to be on two phones call at once just to get my phone replaced.     I DID NOT have my cell phone replaced! I have a 3 yr old Samsung Galaxy S8 that I Had the screen replaced on and then had a screen saver I waited on for 6 weeks put on over that. Was asked if I wanted it replaced, I declined because it is an old phone with probably another year of use left in it. When I came to pick it up. Replaced screen and screen saver I provided was all good. Also new case I purchased had not been put on yet. That's because they needed to point out to me a more prominent crack "above" the small one I knew about, had occurred during the replacement of the screen. I was not offered a replacement backing for this, citing there was already a crack in the backing. I think that was NOT Right but because I had a new case going on it, I let it go!

    When the damage first occurred, I tried many times to place my claim online. When I had problems with that, I spoke to a representative on the phone who encouraged me to go to a local Metro PCS store. The woman there spent a lot of time with helping me fill out the claim, showing her my ID, etc. THEN I had to come back home to my computer to complete the process. It was not an easy process. In the end, I was able to enter my claim, replace the damaged device.

    Holy crap. First off this was a NIGHTMARE, wouldn't ship to my p.o. box. Nobody informed me that my p.o. box was an issue before or while purchasing insurance. Wouldn't let my friend use his card because card name and address didn't match with me being the account holder. Couldn't get data to transfer. Assurant had stipulation they could charge me $2,000 if broken device wasn't returned within 15 days. Couldn't get any employees from Metro to help. Finally after multiple attempts got customer service from Metro to help then Assurant try to tell me I made a claim over a month ago. Very confusing when I could be charged a hidden fee never knowing about it then trying to say I was late because they wouldn't accept my way of payment or approve my shipping address... Take my advice. Stay away from Metro, T-mobile, Assurant. Hopefully my issue is resolved. Won't know until I get confirmation.

    T-Mobile, whom I’ve been with for about 17 years let me down this go around. Assurant didn’t do much better. I set everything up online, at a T-Mobile store without a single rep coming over to see if I needed any assistance. One kinda said boo and walked away. My claim was instantly shown as approved. I assumed the payment had gone through and I was good to go. I didn’t get my phone for another 2 1/2 weeks. My funds were limited, and with no phone I couldn’t track my purchases. I assumed the payment had gone through, and when I found out 3-4 days later that it hadn’t processed because of the shipping address I had provided, I was wondering why I hadn’t received a single phone call. At that point I didn’t have energy, money accessible to pay Assurant and had to wait another 6-7 days to make that payment.

    When I did, again I thought everything was cool, but the rep had screwed up the label and again I had to wait another 2 days after I should have had it. Nothing I’d call a deal breaker, but considering I had similarly frustrating transactions/exchanges with a multitude of other companies (my wallet and phone had been stolen, leaving me stranded with access to anything), T-Mobile usually excels in these situations. This time they are right there with everybody else. Sub par service, lack of understanding and care, dismissive.

    Tablet not working: error message: System UI has stopped. Went to store on Lancaster and attendant assigned me did not know what it was, he rebooted the tablet... 1.5 hours. Waited a WEEK for it to come to store. Went to store, tablet was in, but the NEW attendant said that it was water damaged and must be replaced a different way! She ordered it on-line, would not give me the tablet in the store!

    Waited a week for delivery- called and found out that nothing had been shipped because the IMEI # had not been furnished. Gave them this information and they would ship. Waited a week and called- was told nothing was shipped because I had not authorized the $10 payment. Waited 3 days for shipment to come in. Went to store and they uploaded the needed information and chip. So I spent several hours and several weeks waiting to get a change out which should have taken less than 3 days! Not impressed with the store or the insurance personnel!

    My concerns is the communication between Fedex and the Assurant, Notes made in the computer as I stated where I wanted my device delivered and somehow the wrong information was provided. Also with trying to rectify the problem I was told by UPS to request to be able to pick the device up from their facility but I needed Assurant to call ups because you're contracted as the shipper. When the rep returned to my phone call I was told a lie that ups said If I had elect to pick the phone up from the facility that they would have to ship the phone back to assurant. So the rep reshipped the phone which I requested not to do whereas I might miss the delivery because I had it shipped to a secure place of business per the last mishap where my package was never retrieved. So if I miss this delivery I have to wait for another device to reship because there sending this one back. This overall experience has been terrible.

    Assurant is the absolute worst insurance company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. My first phone was fully returned to their warehouse (tracking number says it was delivered) but the phone was "never scanned in". This happened back in March! It's now May and all of a sudden my package "arrived damaged and empty" and they want to charge me $716. I was told to speak with USPS to which I did and they specified to me that said packages go to a P.O Box which are in turn picked up by an Assurant employee. So why would an assurant employee pick up an empty package and not tell me on March 2nd when it arrived to them????

    To me it looks as though this employee stole this phone and doesn't care that I am being charged this fee although this has absolutely nothing to do with me seeing as as soon as the package leaves my house and gets scanned into anywhere it is no longer in my hands. Therefore it is no longer my problem. Assurant refuses to refund me this charge. It is now May almost June and I am still fighting with them. AGAIN WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND INSURANCE SERVICE I'VE EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH. I hate that I have to have insurance with them in order to keep my upgrade program with Tmobile. Otherwise I would definitely drop the extra 40 dollars a month I spend on this ** company.

    I am not upset at the fact that when I filed my claim on April 15, 2021, that I would have to wait 2 weeks to pay the copay. Where the incompetence of the clearly not fully trained csr agents or the management doesn't trust or believe that employees can and should have the ability to determine if the customer has to suffer an additional 3 to 5 business days. Now everybody knows that 5 business days means 7 real days. So when I filed my claim I informed the csr agent that I have to wait till payday to pay the copay. "This is not a problem," explained the agent, they said that when I phone my payment in, that the phone most likely will be shipped no later than next day depend on time placed.

    The incompetence of the csr comes to surface and tells me that now all I have to do is provide copy of my i.d. and make payment (and this was how it was spoken in very plain English which I do understand and comprehend very well, tell me all I have to do is provide copy of i.d. and make payment. When they should have said, "Provide a copy of your i.d. right away," because for no reason whatsoever my claim got flagged and needed review which is what caused the completely unnecessary delay by an additional week of no phone so total wait time was 3 weeks, mind you the first 2 weeks was because of an issue dealing with me, while frustrating since my fault I understand, but why does your company, thank you for this email because it reminds me to cancel your very poor service. Your incompetent company has an illegal monopoly over Metro PCS because they tell me you're the only company authorized to do business with.

    When what should have happened was when I called my payment in and that I was informed on a Wednesday that there will be an additional 3 to 5 business days which doesn't mean 5 days and here is proof, I received the replacement device the following Tuesday which was an additional 6 days, for a total of 20 days to get replacement for a $300.00 phone which I wish I did not have the protection plan from your cold uncaring customer service provided by your company. So back to the issue and how simple trust that your employees have the mental capacity to determine thru direction of your company provided copy of i.d. on same day as payment, when the csr agent who helped me the first time I called on April 15th should have instructed me to provide copy of my i.d. right away in case there is a review placed on account, causing further delay in receiving replacement device, which this can happen and I understand.

    Now here is where it all went wrong, because I provided a copy of i.d. thru email it takes 3 to 5 days to process, and where if you provide a copy thru a fax the review is finished within 24 hours. I cannot even begin to explain how this is not only wrong that it takes longer to process. When you provide electronically usually means faster response time, like getting a refund electronically how it post to your account same day, where when you wait for paper work to actually arrive at your office takes longer, but your company is backwards and if you get out and go find a place to pay to send a fax (actually takes longer for your company to receive a fax than it does an email and common sense usually would say that the processing time it takes should be the same if not faster receiving thru electronic than receiving same information from the customer on paper).

    But because I sent it in electronically like most people usually do but if you had taken the time to read the website that provided me this information, I had to wait the 3 to 5 business days. When I became aware of all this I found out that absolutely no one has the ability to hear my problem and have compassion and sympathy to address the issue where it makes me to absolutely not wanting to further do business with your company. The only recourse I have is to cancel my protection plan after only 2 months so at least with doing business poorly with me and between no one helping me and the 3 employees who just plainly hung up on me, but how do I prove that they hung up on purpose, well when it happens 3x in a row.

    Yes I called probably 10 times and no one had the ability to review the hold on my account or even contacting the people who do have the ability to review my account and have it done right away, so basically since there was absolutely nothing anyone working for Assurant cares for providing outstanding customer service but rather look at customers who have the nerve who has a complaint, and we'll just ignore my concerns and hang up on me not only by 2 regular csr agents, but as well as a highly trained csr manager, which I am fully aware the employee who identified themselves as a supervisor probably lied to me and was just the csr agent sitting next to the csr agent who took my call. This is my last hope that somehow Assurant will prove to me that customer service is vital importance.

    After all no company is too big to fail, just keep passing off customers to where your company only was paid $12.00 in the 2 months of service fees I had to pay for, so unless your company paid less than $12.00 for a brand new 5g phone as well as the cost for shipping phone to me as well as the 3 to 4 hours talking on the phone to Assurant employees if all that cost your company less than $12.00 then your company lost money with me and how your company provides wonderful top notch customer service, and again I know that just me alone, yes doesn't affect Assurant bottom line, however keep treating customers like you did me, and eventually your company will lose enough customers where you will be bought up for penny's on the dollar from your competitors who do know how to listen and provide outstanding excellent customer service.

    So there. That is my experience with your company, thank God this will be the last time I ever have to communicate with Assurant. I will be very surprised if your company realizes how bad they dropped the ball on me and seeing how bad word of mouth reviews actually hurt big company's like Assurant and do something to rectify this solution which I do have one but I know it won't happen. However I feel that your company should refund me a full refund of my $60.00 copay since receiving compensation is only thing that can be done this late now when all I wanted was someone to realize that correct procedure for best outcome especially when customer has to wait 2 weeks to pay for the copay so there would be absolutely no wait when customer calls in copay ensuring that replacement would be sent out no later than next day if received by 8:00 p.m. same day.

    But there was no one of the 10 people I talked to on the phone that could even be smart enough to see issue and can make Assurant look really good by doing the request I asked for. But again, being in the right like I know I am I'm still hoping Assurant will do something to not lose my business but that's because I believe in good,.

    I was more than dissatisfied after I had broke my phone to begin with, (it had fell off the top of the car, after I was finished vacuuming and cleaning it out), So when I found out that Assurant Wireless had next day shipping on their replacement phones I was Extremely excited. Sure enough my replacement phone had arrived the very next day, but when I went to contact Metro so that I could have my new phone activated, I found out that it was already linked to another customer,, and when the customer service person was explaining this to me, they really couldn't give me a a solid answer as to why this was happening.

    This now meant that I would have to return this phone that I cant do anything with, back into the mail and then was told to contact the insurance company after it was in the mail with a tracking number. As a whole, I was without a phone for more than 8 days because I couldn't afford to pay the insurance deductible right away. I was unable to accept extremely important phone calls and messages that happened to be through my county's courthouse. Due to this incident, I would not recommend Aussurant Wireless to anyone if they happen to have a claim filed or are even looking at possible insurance companies for their wireless device.

    Horrible experience. They said they were OVERNIGHTING my phone to me. Took FIVE days to get my new device. And the Activation process was Hell. Just the process to do the claim to get the new device was Hell too. I will Never recommend this service to others. Especially because when I voiced my concerns regarding all of this, the company simply did Not care at all and did Nothing to rectify the situation. Because of how awful this process was and how long it took me to get my new device, it caused my business and clients to suffer as well. Cost me thousands and put my clients in huge predicaments not being able to contact me. Lost great clients and thousands of dollars because of it and the company simply doesn't care. Sprint never did this to me in 20 years that I was with them. Thinking of going back to Sprint or another phone company.

    This company is a joke. I never gotten my call back. I placed my order on a Monday round 8am & had to call Wednesday to see what happened. They never called me to confirm my address which is ** stupid. The address I keyed in is the address on billing account. I never received it Thursday because of a problem with UPS. UPS said it was their fault. They will give me my money back but they have to speak with Assurant. ASSURANT doesn't want me to get my money & the dumb ** supervisors NEVER called me back & it's been a week. No apologies or anything. I want is my money back for this big inconvenience. I DO NOT WISH TO SPEAK WITH ANY SUPERVISOR OR MENTOR. I WILL ONLY SPEAK WITH OPS OR THE DIRECTOR.

    How could an insurance company not have insurance on the packages they ship in the mail? There is something very shady going on here. You guys desperately need to step up your accountability and get cameras in your facilities to monitor who opens these packages. Fortunately my local T-Mobile representative waived any ridiculous fees you were trying to charge me. I hope you take this review seriously and look on the T-mobile forums about non return fees and the incredibly sketchy circumstances in which you receive open or torn packages in the mail.
