The response was fast and easy… but I received a defective phone. I will be trying to notify company to let them know. The phone drops calls and bad connection. I have attempted to reboot phone but to no avail it did not work.

The tablet we got in exchange doesn't seem to charge correctly. It isn't working correctly. Customer service was accommodating but the device seems to be a little faulty. I no longer have insurance on the device because they took it off so I'm not sure what to do at this point.

The agents were fast and professional. Didn't ask any dumb questions, and processed my claim expeditiously. When a trip to repair shop didn't work for me, they were happy to send a replacement. However the deductible was a bit high ($100).

In the past I’ve actually avoided filing claims with my phone insurance because I assumed it would be a long demanding process. So I’d just go into the Apple store to fix my phone. I was so wrong. This was such an easy and quick process! I couldn’t believe how quickly I had a claim set up and approved. I received the phone the very next day. Overall such a great experience. There is nothing that could have been improved.

Needed to exchange the phone because had gotten wet. My only complaint was the $99.00 charge. Way too high; I will be purchasing a much less expensive phone next time. The insurance is not worth it with the deductible being so high. The overnight delivery was very nice and unexpected, thank you.

Guarantee claim was very easy. Speedy response with approval. New phone arrived a day or so later. Great stuff. Only negative I have is there should be a selection of phones to be able to choose from. Sending me a phone 150% bigger makes all older paraphernalia useless and forcing me to buy new.

They took care of the problem and sent me another phone. They were quick sending out another phone. When I had a problem setting up my new used phone all it took was a quick phone call and the lady walked us thru it.

I had a little trouble getting to the correct page, but after that everything went smoothly. I got an email that the claim was accepted, the replacement the next day. Mailing the broken phone back was even easier.

At first I was sent the wrong phone then got helped to get the correct phone and sent back my money. I really appreciated the help I got from the very last person that did it over 30 minutes on the phone with me to help fix this issue.

So the service is quite a bit slow, some of your representatives are lacking enthusiasm and others were far more understanding. I am glad that I got a phone in time for my trip but it took multiple days for the claim to be approved, instore is Zero help. So yeah for future instances I will just make sure I have a better back up phone on hand. The last associate to help me was great, sad I don't remember her name.

My phone was stolen and I did not realize my deductible was $249? Which is ridiculous. That is my deductible on my $40,000 car. Then I find out that I paid roughly $500 for this to get a “refurbished phone.” I’ve already had to take the phone in for freezing. Well, now that is now an Apple problem, so I had to take it to them. It had a software reprogrammed, let’s hope this works. 3 different companies die a lost phone… Ridiculous!!!

This was horrible!!! If I could give 0 stars, I would. First, no one contacted me for 2 weeks and when I finally reached out, they said they needed to confirm my address. They sent me the address and confirmed it TWICE, and it was my address beginning in **. After 2 days of my package being delivered, and my apartment not receiving it, I called and after many tries of getting them to tell me where it is, they finally provided the address of **. THAT IS THE ADDRESS OF RAISING CANES CHICKEN FINGERS. How do you get my address that wrong, after confirming it!!!! Beyond pissed.

When it came to file a claim, there was nothing more simpler than this. You gave me assurance I could go back to continue it if I had to leave it without completing. So true this is. The phone arrived on Tuesday and very satisfied.

The phone case was badly damaged and the viewing screen was only partially displayed, which required replacing the phone. Since it was also impossible to view the EMI # of the device on the damaged screen, we called in our claim rather than completing it online. The advisors we spoke with were very helpful and efficient in processing our claim, and everyone was very pleasant to speak with as well.

I could not work for 5 days because of the slow claims processing. I pay every month for years and wasn't helped even when I lost the phone. They refused to change the claim. No one informed me that the S8 Plus was showing instead of the S8 which could've easily been corrected by myself. I've cancelled my insurance. I would rather save my money and pay full price with the peace of knowing that if my phone breaks I can buy a new one that same day. I will never use a phone company that uses Assurant in the future. I have never went through this in the past.

The battery on our phone wasn't keeping a charge for long and the sound quality was poor. A few weeks later I noticed a crack on the back of the phone. I was told that even though I pay almost $40 a month for insurance that because my phones are "old", the issues with the battery etc aren't covered. But I could get a replacement since it had a crack on the back but that I have to pay an additional $100 deductible. How can a company change what is covered as the consumer continues to pay month after month? This insurance is meant only to benefit the corporation.

No sim card sent with replacement cell. It took me days to set up new cell and it's still not working right. The store on 72nd a Portland Ave had problems setting up my cell and said my old cell is on a blacklist. What does that mean?

The receipt and tracking of the replacement phone handset was quick and accurate as promised. The device was the correct one. I have had some concerns about the new handset shutting off unexpectedly with no touch, but those incidents have not recurred this week. The only hassle is the necessity of all the data and app transfers required to make the new handset functional. In my case I had a back up older handset I could have used with repairing the damaged one that would have same me all the transfer hassle.

I had purchase insurance for my kids school iPad. Now I put a claim, they’d are saying my iPad is not cover because I never send them photos of the iPad… which they were never requested… Very bad experience…

I had the worst service ever. The replacement device that was sent out to me was defective. There was an awful language barrier between me and the customer service representatives who were trying to help me and made the process longer by being unable to understand each other. It’s horrible that T-Mobile outsources jobs to foreign countries.

The first phone sent out was the wrong phone, but was quickly corrected so I want complain. The first phone was sent was a Samsung a12, but my phone is a Samsung A21 but customer service fixed the issue

I placed the order before 8pm as instructed by the T-Mobile representative in order for the phone to be expedited for the next day. It came 2/3 days after which was a long time for me seeing that I use my phone for work purposes. The phone seems ok so far.

A phone was dropped on a Friday which rendered it useless. We called Assurant the next day--had difficulty with the site. Reached a very helpful gentleman, paid the deductible, and received the replacement on Monday. Their next business day shipping is the best. Phone arrived with a return envelope to put in our mailbox. Love the claim service and will continue to purchase the plans with new devices.

I have yet to complete my claim. I have been traveling and unable to fill out form that I keep being sent to fill out online. I'm having trouble filling out on my phone since my tablet is lost. None of the reps I have contacted have been courteous enough to fill out to complete claim over phone. Why??

I placed a claim for my Google Pixel on June 3 and 11 days later, they had still not sent me a replacement device or updated status. Customer service said I will give you the phone number to google but it does not work because they are closed due to covid. I asked her for a website and she said "Don't you have a google account". Super unhelpful. I mean the company's job is to be the provider of replacement devices when something happens to your phone. I ended up cancelling our claim. I won't ever buy this service again.

My phone had a cracked screen. Everything worked ok, just cracked screen. The young man said he has a replacement screen compatible. He replaced it and when I got outside I couldn't open the screen. The young man worked on it again and got it to open. I went home and tried to play a music video. The sound was extremely fuzzy and distorted. I went back the following day and they worked on it again and said they have to order a speaker and will call me when it comes in. Meanwhile it's difficult to hear and understand people while talking on the phone. This is a big inconvenience.

Screen/display stopped working due to coming in contact with water. Once I got in contact with Assurant, problem was addressed. When you don't have your cell, getting the right contact is challenging, if you don't have extra devices available.

Assurant doesn’t have the information that T-Mobile have about the equipment making it more difficult because I thought I had a 512gb instead of 264gb. Took about a week to have my phone replaced. I had to call 4 times. I even had to make a 3 way line with a T-Mobile representative to find out what was wrong. I also ask for a new charger & cable mine are not working anymore. They never send it. Bad experience. No problem solving agent. Just reading the rules and procedures.

The phone arrived and all incoming and outgoing calls require me to use speakerphone for the caller to hear me. This is not satisfactory as a replacement phone. Products should be tested better prior to shipping.

After talking with 5 people it was finally fixed. 4 of didn't know what to do and hung up. I had a Samsung Note 10 256gb with a cracked screen. I filled out the claim online. I put the model # the IMEI # everything needed for the claim. I got the replacement next day. Only one problem I received a Tablet not a phone. When I called to explain the situation the person said he was sorry but they didn't have my replacement anymore. Send back the tablet 1st then call back.
After 2 days I did that called back. The 1st & 2nd person didn't know what to do. Put me on hold and then disconnected me. I called back a 4th time again. Didn't understand what to do. Luckily they transferred to person who knew what to do. They asked for the IMEI & Serial # and right away found the problem. It seems that Samsung makes a Note tablet as well as a Note 10 phone. Nobody else bothered to run the IMEI. This agent went above & beyond to slove the problem. She found my replacement right away once she the phone model. I think you to train all the employees to do this.

After an unfortunate fishing experience, I needed to replace a lost phone. I contacted Assurant via their website (Saturday), submitted the claim, paid for the deductible and was told what day (Tuesday) the replacement phone would arrive. Easy and accurate.

I was happy with the replacement process for my damaged iPhone 12 Pro, but was never advised that I would not be receiving a NEW replacement phone. I was disappointed to get a REFURBISHED replacement.

Assurant sent me a DEFECTIVE replacement phone which I sent back to Assurant and immediately cancelled the Order **. I think this company has a poor Quality Control Department. This company has wasted not only their time, also my time. Every month I pay $30.00 for insurance only, to T-Mobile and did that for about 2 years, that is about $720.00. Not for this type of service!

The new device doesn't has the option of vibration. I try every single recovery, reset and all the tutorial the apple CS recommend but still the same issue. I need a replacement for the damage device I paid for.

I received a damaged refurbished phone from you all. The USB port did not work. It stated that there was liquid or debris in the port. I only found this out after the T-Mobile agent transferred the the number over to the phone. I was without a phone for two days. I would like my 49.00 deductible refunded to my account.

We called Assurant on a Sunday to report a lost phone and ask for a replacement. While the person was very nice, he was not well informed. He told us we would get our phone on Monday, Tuesday the latest. I said Monday is a holiday, he told me it would not affect it. My daughter was going out of town so needed the phone. We received an email saying it shipped, but tracking could not locate it. Very deceiving, since it did not ship. Tried calling and we got several different answers. We finally received the phone on Wednesday.

Received the cell phone. But no charger to charge the phone with. Was told a charger would be sent with new replacement phone but wasn't. Charger end that plugs into the charging port on phone was also damaged. STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED A REPLACEMENT CHARGER TO CHARGE MY PHONE UP.

I made my claim on a Thursday and I received my phone on that Friday, they sent it overnight express at no extra cost to me. I was very impressed. I also did my whole claim online not any if that automated stuff.

The day after I received my phone I dropped it and broke my screen. The next day my stylus pen got stuck in my phone. I paid my deductible for accidental damage and sent in my claim. Within 24 hours it was approved and my replacement phone was shipped out. I received the exact same kind of phone the next day. Very efficient and excellent service. All done online.

I was given the runaround for about 2 hours. They kept transferring back to T-mobile and then I would have to go through the entire process again. It was actually one of the worst customer service experiences I ever had. Finally, when I was at the end of my rope I got a lady that helped me quickly and politely. I felt like I was being persuaded into just buying a new phone and not using my insurance. I was actually told the phone was very old, so I said ok then repay all my insurance back to me. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

My TMobile Sales Rep. Azar was very helpful in providing phone# and phone to file claim from store. Assurant reps took my claim by phone & I completed online as requested. Once I followed up and paid deductible, replacement was rushed over. Kayla was very helpful today in confirming delivery of returned damaged device on 6/9/2021, 2 days before expected. Sent another phone quickly however that phone had glitches within a few days and told I should talk to my provider or I would have to send the broken phone and once they got it they would send me the fixed phone. Who does that? Terrible, the rep sounded like she could care less and was just reading her script..good news I did get another phone now. Just have to set that one up.

My wife's phone developed issues. I had insurance on it so I contacted Assurant. I gave them the details and the claim was approved. Had the new phone in a day or two and even had the materials to return the damaged phone. Everything went very smoothly. I am greatly appreciative of their service and care for the consumer.

My sister is in assisted living and she's on my cell phone account. She told me her cell phone was broken, I got it replaced. She's still waiting for assistance from the staff to try to transfer what is on her old phone to the new phone and set up the new phone for her, then someone will assist her in getting the old phone sent in. Your computerized system gave me a lot of trouble. When I called they referred me back to the computerized system. It was like going through a vicious circle. After 2 hours and 30 minutes on the phone and trying to get through your system somebody finally helped me. I think it is ridiculous that it took that long. It should be a simple process not something so difficult.

I reported a claim which is still ongoing due to my stolen vehicle. I gave Mr. Laz ** all the information he needed to start my claim via phone (claim ID # and email of the police record bureau) that he will need to complete my claim process. I was under the impression that my claim was being processed after I spoke to him until he called me today asking me the same questions he asked when I first spoke to him. He does not understand that I do not have any police report especially when it is still an open investigation. I gave him the details to request what he needed through the police. He never sent me the claim form to fill out instead sent me a property list summary report which does not start my claim. I am already under pressure due to my current situation with my stolen vehicle and Mr. Laz is no help to this process.

The overall process was easy to navigate and the outcome of receiving my replacement device T-mobile S21 5g within 2 days of providing the $249 USD deductible was good. The only issue or concern I have and I have been debating sending it back i just prefer not to be without my device I paid 800 for this is a refurbished device. There are two scuff dings at the top one large one small opposite ends of it as well as an internal issue causing there to be really unreliable service. For the most part I stay connected to wifi. I really thought paying into the insurance program annually would have alloted myself or another a new device for the deductible price of around 1/3 SUGGESTED retail price so yeah.
I would rate this experience at 2 stars but I am being kind and adding an extra one for at the very least I have a variant equal to my original purchase. I have to say I am questioning removing the insurance all together. My mother lost her phone a few weeks before only 3 days after I canceled the insurance on her device Samsung s21 5g and although T-mobile said they were allowing me a courtesy due to the closeness of discontinued protection after paying for quite few months the application was denied. I really want to put 1 star.

Getting the phone went as expected even the deductible... This over time had issues as I set it up... He went to get a screen protector and case for it. Only to find out that Metro no longer carried either item...then he dropped it on the ground 2 days later cracking the screen... We just bought a new phone and upgraded him to 5g.

I received a tablet very quickly. But once I got the tablet it was so hard to get one of your people to transfer information over to the new tablet. Then I wanted to mail the old tablet back. Could not get a claim/rma# because they did not include it onto the return envelope. It should not have been that hard to get the new tablet activated or to return the old tablet back especially after I have never missed a payment on my phone tablet or insurance bill.

My overall experience was pretty good. When I called to report my phone stolen I was help immediately! Costed me about 60$ for another phone but the insurance was worth it. I saved about 40$. Also, shipping was excellent! Received my phone the next day!??? Thank you. Paid my 99$. Set up the appt to get phone screen fixed. Everything seemed to be going well until there was a problem between y'all's system and the place I went to get it fixed and wasn't able to get the work done. Then called multiple times to try and get a new phone shipped because I took a day off of work and drove an hour for nothing!! Wasted money time and gas. It took about a week before I received my new replacement phone. There needs to be some sort of compensation other than, "I do apologize."

Lying to a customer is not right. Shipping delays and upgrades due to lack of product availability is not the customer's fault so therefore the customer should not be penalized for this current warehousing issue. I called support about my phone and had it replaced. I paid on a Saturday and my phone arrived on Friday 6 days later. Anyways their process is not clear. They say overnight delivery and delayed shipping. Well the call center has no real communication with the warehouse or upper management because it's a off shore call center not a USA company. They lie on the phone and the advertising seems not true either.
So the call center puts in the order and it takes a day or two to ship out if it's in stock at the time of the order. They don't send out the upgrade as soon as they are out of stock. They wait 4-5 days before sending out the upgrade. Regardless they shouldn't make the customer wait too long for a replacement and change their ad to include the waiting process for an upgrade if the phone owned is not in stock.

My phones were stolen and I had to keep calling & emailing until I finally got a response regarding approval & then it was a completely annoying process to pay the $10 deductible that by the way was supposed to be paid when I did the original claim online. Basically the online process was a complete waste of time. Because I paid the deductible and then it was refunded for some crazy reason... then I had to redo the entire process. I had to make 3 or 4 Claims. Worst experience I ever had with this company. I had to talk up to 4 different people one night. Since the call kept on dropping and they don’t give you a call back at all. I had to wait over 3 weeks to get the right phone. I understand that they want the customer to file online. But I call for a reason I don’t want to file online. They Force me to file online. And I’m no expert. I put the wrong IMEI number. I got the wrong phone send to me. Called to get this fixed. I had to talk to 5 different people to get my problem Solve. Truly never did. My second Claim was Decline.
Had to file again. Had to wait another week. I don’t think it right I had to pay. When I had to wait over 2 weeks to get my phone and had to talk to 6 different people. They should have notes in my account and they didn’t. I had to keep telling them what happen. Which is very frustrating. This company customer service is the worst. Will tell my friends and family never to get insurance with this company nor T-Mobile. Nobody could help. Took over 3 weeks. Had to spend so much of my time on the phone, going to drop things off. Just a wasted my time.

I understand that a exact replacement may not happen. However, the replacement phone I received was in no way physically similar and the technical specs of the replacement are marginally similar to my original device. I work construction and specifically ordered the V 30 due to its physical nature (flat screen and short body) and ability to be properly protected by a good case. This replacement meets none of my needs. At the very least it would have been nice to be contacted to see what phone would have worked since allegedly there are no more v30s in the entire nation. This was according to the lady I talked with through Assurant when I tried to resolve this issue.

I would have gave more stars but the customer service was really bad due to language barriers, we got hung up on 3 times, both me and the T-Mobile rep. Then they didn't take down my info right. The claim was denied due to this mix up and I didn't get real help until we got a manager on the phone who spoke English and knew their job.

My iPhone slipped out of my hands and when I picked it up I noticed the camera had cracked and later it started getting worse. I immediately contacted Assurant and initiated a claim. They responded back quickly and said they were reviewing my claim and would get back to me. Two days later it had been approved and they were getting ready to ship my new iPhone X to me. I received within 3 days. They provided me with a box and free shipping label to return the damaged phone. Completely satisfied with their service.

The only issue I had was the phone I was filing a complaint on was too damaged to turn on, so I was unable to retrieve the IMEI to submit the claim online. I called the Assurant customer service line, and it kept trying to make me file online, but once I was transferred to a representative, she was professional and efficient. I am especially appreciative of the expediency; it is comforting that Assurant recognizes the sense of urgency with replacing devices.

If I was able to leave zero stars for this experience it would be more accurate. I tried filing a claim on a cell phone I purchased a week after I bought it. The website wasn't working and I couldn't get the claim to be processed. In another 5 or 6 days I tried again because the phone had gotten worse and couldn't even be used at all at that point. By the time I got the claim to go thru it was holiday weekend so I expected the shipment to be delayed and it was. I also went to the the store I purchased the phone from to have assistance with making the claim and to make sure I was doing it properly. They were no help at all either. So the claim was processed and accepted. We received an email with tracking information only to find that we would not be receiving a new device that the delivery address was not correct and it had been returned to shipper.
So for the third time we make a trip to the store where the phone was purchased to have them assist us with the situation. I stayed on the phone for over 30 minutes with your company with very much aggravation about the claim. I had to keep answering the same questions over and over. Kept being put on hold every 2 to 3 minutes only to go in the same circles with trying to get the replacement device sent to the correct address. The ultimate decision was to ask for a refund be processed of the deductible on the phone and we had the line completely shut off.
It was the most ridiculous experience I could have ever imagined. I've been with Metro for almost 10 years and am so very disappointed in the way all parties handled this situation. I was scammed out of almost 200 dollars to open a new line with a new phone and couldn't get the replacement device sent out. I am currently searching and researching other phone companies so I can completely be done with this companies services.

My claim was approved at 5:23 pm on 5-20-2021 was a Thursday. Was told my replacement phone would be next day air from UPS. It wasn't shipped till Friday evening and I didn't receive it until the following Monday. Waiting 4 days for a replacement was bad enough. But then I received a refurbished unit to replace my one month old phone... Very disappointing to not get a new phone off the shelf.

I have paid for insurance for 24+ months. I went to submit a claim online to get a cracked screen to be repaired. I was shocked to find out that there are no authorized retailers within a 50 mile radius of my address. So dissatisfied. I feel like that is false advertising. Xfinity is a huge network in the Indianapolis area and to not have authorized dealers here is a complete joke. This drove my husband and I to take our lines plus add two lines to another carrier.

My wife left her phone at a local casino. After numerous attempts to locate the phone, we had to determine the phone as lost and unrecoverable. I made a claim and the process was smooth and painless. The only glitch was the delivery... I was told it would be overnighted but it took 4 days. Other than that, we are happy with this service.

I lost my new phone but got a refurbished one as a replacement despite the fact that I had to pay a replacement charge, no mention of used phone in process that was clear to me and I have never had a claim in decades, also I get a note request and prepaid envelope for return of lost device or I may pay a penalty.

After over a week and a half I still have not received “my replacement’s”, replacement. My first replacement phone came and while trying to activate learned it was “reported lost or stolen”... Still waiting.

The process and approvement of the new device went smoothly. However, the new device was supposed to be delivered with next day shipping however it has not arrived yet. It has been about 10 days since it was shipped out and has not arrived yet.

I received a replacement device that was different from one that I just replaced in January 2021. The Edge 7 went dead after having it for only 4 months. When I received the replacement, I only received the phone with no charger or accessories. I was unable to charge the replacement because it does not use the same charger as my previous devices.

The experience with getting the phone went very well. However, I sent the phone back in the prepaid envelope you sent me and I'm sorry I didn't take it over to UPS and pay for the shipping myself. According to USPS, there is no tracking information. And since Assurant wants the phone back by June 7 (today), I am nervous that I will have to pay for the phone. I wish you would not use USPS, as they are not dependable.

Everyone I spoke to was friendly and helpful. I found the website to be confusing and hard to navigate. The on-line brochure said that cracked screens could be replaced for $29 but when I asked about that I was told there were no authorized reps in my zip code. When I said that I was going to be in Chicago for 2 weeks she said there were no reps available in zip 60622 either. I'm willing to travel a few miles and it's hard to believe there are no reps in the Chicago metropolitan area.

The process was very quick and easy. My LG Stylo 5 stopped charging on a Thursday night, got a new replacement within less than a week. Called customer service at T Mobile and was directed to Assurant. Due to my phone being cracked before, unfortunately, my insurance was voided. I was honest about that. However, there were no surprises. I was told it would only cost about 50 bucks to replace my phone. And that if I don't send back the old phone, they would charge me about $900. Got a hold of someone real quick, they processed my claim. They sent me a new phone of the same model along with a labeled envelope to send in the damaged phone, with the shipping costs on their dime. I reset my old phone to factory settings. I then dropped off the damaged phone at USPS. Whole process was simple and easy. Would definitely recommend Assurant to a friend.

I made the claim online and it was really easy. Got the approval instantly and was told the phone had shipped shortly after. Got the phone in 3 days since it was a holiday weekend. Highly recommended.

It took less than 5 minutes to file a claim online and pay the deductible of only $10. By the next day my claim was approved. It was a holiday weekend and I filed my claim on a Friday. I still got my phone by Tuesday. They also made it super easy to send back the damaged phone. The service is excellent!

I was supposed to get my phone on the 2nd of June and the ship date has changed 2 time. If my phone isn't here I will never get Assurant ever again. I've been paying since 2014 and this is how you do your Loyal customers.

I submitted a request for a replacement phone when my mother's was stolen. I submitted online and followed up a couple times the following days to see that it was still in process. A week later I called because no action had been taken. When I called they said that there was an issue with the delivery to address. Why I was not contacted or why there was not a note on my account I'm not certain but if I had not called who knows how long it would have been.
Fast forward the unit ships pretty quickly. It arrives and when I go to set it up there is issues with the phone. Somehow I'm still not certain my mother's line was still locked and no one could figure out how to unlock it. They had to contact Assurant who then made the recommendation for me to send back the phone I just got. This was after being online with a representative for an hour. Finally the situation was resolved. Why it took an hour and why I was directed to ship back the device is still unknown. Terrible communication all the way around.

1st we received replacement phone and all's well. Lady who was 1st contact on phone was very pleasant. Later on website my daughter entered a number that was connected to my phone because I'm the account holder. There was no notification from your end. I understand informing her of the mistake keeping in mind her phone was not operational to retrieve number anyway, problem was resolved by her also. I thought new phone should have been overnighted not 4 days.

Horrible service. Kept getting disconnected. At least 2 hours from carrier to Assurant and repeating information numerous times. First claim was denied. No notification of denial of claim. Kept asking to send information to broken phone. Instead of main number. Had to reprocess claim and same bad experience second time. Really unbelievable.

My experience was fine with ASSURANT. It is T-Mobile who cannot seem to provide professional service in some stores and with their Customer Service Department. I'll keep the insurance going and I appreciate your helpful response to this issue.

Was sent the wrong replacement...was told Samsung A20 is comparable to my samsung A32 5g device... Now I've had to scramble to find a way to print a label to ship back the phone leaving me still without a device. This has been very inconvenient and I'm considering changing carriers now due to this situation.. At least I won't be paying a monthly insurance payment and a deductible just to have to spend more money to resolve issues I didn't create. You can call me for questions **. As in the LG phone I had to return 3 or 4 times to get one to work which lasted a whole 7 months. This Samsung Galaxy Note 20 5G I had to return! I’m not very happy with Assurant overall! Refurbished phones are one thing but one that just came on the market I should have received a brand new phone!

Called to use insurance as phone broke. The automated wanted a number that was under the battery of the phone. So when trying to open phone to get the number, the phone caught fire. Bad directions from automation.

Sent me a rooted phone as a replacement for a damaged phone. Refused to send out an un-rooted replacement until after I sent the rooted phone back. This meant going several days without a phone, due to their screw-up/poor quality control. Awful business practice. Buyer beware.

Just disappointed in the time it took to receive replacement phone. I submitted the claim early Thursday morning 5/27. It wasn't approved until Friday sometime. Your timing is shows that claims approved on Friday the phone will be delivered on Monday. Monday was a holiday so it was delivered on Tuesday. I've had insurance in the past and almost always received the phone the next day. I think UPS is the only carrier that doesn't deliver on weekends, which is ridiculous. My boyfriend was without a phone for 5 days.

Horrible to be paying insurance and still have to pay $249. That's almost half the value of the phone charged as a deductible. HORRIBLE!!! I am really disappointed in the services that has been provided to me.

Accidentally dropped my new phone, cracking the glass in upper left corner filed a claim was sent a new phone, only to find out I was sent an A20, my phone is a A32. And it has been one big hassle. Still not resolved. NOT HAPPY.

The device I was sent has a camera that does not work. I called customer service to get a new one but they said I had to send it in which would leave me without a phone until I get one. She also never sent a label to send In the defective phone.

Easy to fill out a claim and claim was processed in a timely manner. Happy and would use the insurance again. The only thing if you use another address, than the one on your account you will have to call so they can verify that it's you and not somebody hacked your account.

I had to send my information to the company 4 times. The last time I found out they had all of it every time I sent it to them, they just didn’t do their job to look for it. I waited for nearly 2 mos before they sent out our phone.

Giving this rating due to the lack of service because I gave my full address for the device to be sent to but when I was expecting the package it never came because Assurant forgot to put my apartment number and therefore the package was sent back, I work with my phone so now I have to wait another week to fix this issue.

I dropped my phone on a Sunday evening and Monday morning realized it wasn't going to work anymore. I was able to file a claim quickly online and my phone was replaced and working by Tuesday afternoon. I am extremely happy with the way Assurant handled my claim and so glad I paid the extra on my bill for the insurance.

I had called because my phone was closing charge even when plugged in to power source. I contacted Assurant and the customer service person was very helpful, and new phone was sent within 24 hours. I did not get that phone because T Mobile office I went to misdiagnosed the problem, I did not get that phone. I contacted Assurant again and new phone was posted to me within 24 hours.

I had a broken screen, I contacted my provider who put me in contact with you guys, you did your part and got me a new device (quickly). Open and shut so not sure why every company wants a pat on the back for doing their job... Is it going to change the way you do things? Doubtful, those decisions come from the top of the food chain.

I ask for a return label a week ago and still haven’t got one to return a iPhone to T-Mobile. I only have a certain amount of time to return this device. I’m not going to pay ** to T-Mobile for a device that you won’t send me a return label for.

I tried 3 times to get my claim approved and T-Mobile even called a few times and you kept denying my claim for now reason. It was almost impossible to reach someone and when you did get someone they would say call T-Mobile even after T-Mobile called numerous times. Horrible business practices.

I recently bought a phone through Spectrum.. The day I bought it I put it in an otter box case...virtually indestructible.. I never dropped, left in car (because I don't have one atm), or anything. Less than a month after I got the phone, it died. No warning, nothing. Wouldn't charge or come on... Took It to Spectrum, they said it was a warranty issue. So I sent it to Samsung and they said that the phone was warped and not covered by warranty. Which is crap, as I said I did nothing to my phone... I know you people can't do anything, the whole thing cost me 100 bucks I didn't have, I'm on SSDI, money ìs tight. But anyway. You guys were great, very fast, as soon as you got the 100 bucks.. sorry just really mad had to tell my story to someone else.. Spectrum and Samsung wouldn't listen, basically called me a liar.

My overall experience was good. The representatives on the phone helped me any way they could and were caring. I appreciated my new device arriving quickly. I was dissatisfied with the transferring of my text messages from one device to the other because some of my texts were out of place or just missing. I just received an email from Assurant that said I need to send in my damaged phone and I had 10 days to do so. They also talked about an agreement and how my card could be charged for not returning the damaged phone. I have no recollection of this agreement. I did see the packaged my new phone came in. Said I had 15 days to return the old phone. So as of yesterday, Wednesday June 2nd I sent out my damaged phone. It should be arriving to you guys soon.

The Company received my $249 I told them that the police return my phone and my phone stay locked from May 24 until June 3rd. While still having to pay on a phone I couldn’t use. I had to deal with this issue until their phone was scanned into the warehouse while holding on to my 249. I could have called the bank and filed a claim for my money and the company would’ve been investigated but I waited. Then no one sent me a Email to let me know anything about the returned phone or pushing the issue off on T-mobile when T-mobile didn’t lock the phone, Assurant did. It was an all around bad experience and two of my company phones are now without insurance because I pay too much to be handled unprofessionally.

This was great. A great overall experience. But the online experience was horrible. Once I called in, everything worked great. The online form asked for the old phones IEMI, since my carrier was being dumb, it was impossible to do. Once I called in, everything went great.

They had one job send me a new phone with the right color and if they didn’t have the right color tell me that and give me a choice of the colors that they have. Instead they just sent me any color that they felt like and say, "You’re stuck with it because we’re out of her head. Thanks."

My dad was in the hospital for a month on life-support while in the medical induced coma somehow his cell phone grew legs and walked out of his ICU room and disappeared, he got out. I made a claim. They sent me the phone. I didn't know the 6 digit acct pin or anything. He didn't remember which he doesn't remember a whole lot since he was on life support in coma but long story short they sent me the phone in mail by me giving social number. I call to activate phone. They refuse to activate it because I do not have 6 digit pin. Told them the situation and nothing they can do. I guess even though they sent me that replacement phone which I have still but can't get activated. He's been a customer 20 years and cuz he doesn't know a 6 digit pin he can't have his phone. He's home bound 3 months. Can't go into store which they said is only option to get it turned on. This is **.

I encountered issues with the online claim and called. The rep processed the claim and stayed on the line thru the process to assist. There was a slight hiccup with processing where we had to provide info twice to two different processing agents. After that, things went fine.

Unfortunately, the manager quit and my replacement phone is missing...It was delivered to the Whitehall Store... I was not informed of the process to return the damaged device and unfortunately was unable to stop by the store for the transfer of data to the new phone as I am helping a friend with health issues...

iPhone 6 was very unresponsive at times and sometimes did un-selectee work. Assurant replaced phone quickly with a better phone (iPhone 7 with more memory). Treated well and online submission worked very well.

6wwpi ²The service I got was crap? First time I called I described a previous event that occurred over 90 days ago and didn't use my insurance on it. I then described an event that happened the same day and the rep didn't honor it and said bc it was over 90 days my insurance could not be used for it. The confusion was the rep thought I wanted to use my event that occurred over 90 days ago, which I did not - I wanted to use the event that occurred the day of the call, which rendered my phone unusable. So, she refused to let me use my insurance, which is crap! I then requested her supervisor, who then agreed with the original rep and again refused to let me use my insurance, justifying the original rep's description. I then called again and spoke to another rep who started another application and accepted it.
The problem is the original rep would not and refused to go back and amend or fix her misunderstanding. This has led me to believe your policy is crap and needs to be fixed. I faithfully pay way too much to get treated the way the first rep and her supervisor treated me. This needs to be changed and I hope it does before other faithful customers have to experience the same thing I did.

On May 8 the original phone was lost. May 9 was reported as lost. May 10 a new replacement phone was sent. May 10 the original phone was found. May 12 UPS did a bad delivery and the replacement phone was lost until May 19. May 19 the replacement phone was returned with a Fedex label that you sent. The replacement phone was received in your warehouse and until today June 2 You don't have unlocked the original phone. I've called five times from the last week and still can't get it unlocked. Please, I need to unlock my original phone. All the service that I received from your customer service were very bad to solve this problem.
