Fast service - the phone arrived within 2 days. Easy return, very user friendly instructions. Good product - the phone arrived with all necessary equipment. Helpful customer service. It will be nice to have a little easier to reach live customer service personnel.

I paid for the fuse to replace my lost phone and I received a phone with camera failures, the front camera could not be opened since I received it and that really bothers me because I paid to have a phone that worked well, it is not beaten nor does it have cracks, the camera just doesn't work.

Lost my phone in the river, They shipped me out one super quick the next day. The whole process was easy and super user friendly. Team member help me with the whole process and took care of everything.

I appreciate the response time between making my claim and delivery of replacement phone. There were slight hiccups in the communication with representatives on the phone. However, all worked out well in the end.

For the first thing it's too long of a wait time and I still don't have my phone. UPS says they put it in front the door but it was not there so now I'm waiting on the claims investigation and that's another 2 weeks. It's just a bad system is it's a bad. I didn't think after the game with my deductible and all that take this long to replace a phone that I pay insurance on. It just a bad system. They need to change it.

I got my phone stolen and called Assurant to file a claim. Both times I was denied. Apparently the person who stole my phone said I sold it to them but my phone has been missing since the date. All I want is my phone back. They said they saw that my sim was removed but apparently that ain’t enough proof for them. What is the point for insurance if they not gonna help me.

I had an accident with my phone and called to have it replaced. I was surprised to have the replacement in my hand the next day. I have requested additional time to return as I am having difficulty importing/exporting all of my banking, legal files, and other business/personal information. I didn't realize I depended on my phone so much. I will return ASAP, but hope the delay will not be penalized as I called to inform already. Otherwise, the replacement fee is very high, but it is based on the phone being replaced. I am having a few problems, and trying to make sure it is user error vs phone challenges. Again, the overall experience is good.

I am 100% satisfied with the service: very prompt, professional, and friendly. I got all the detailed directions on the phone, the next day I received a new phone with a label to mail my broken phone (free). I did not expect that it would be so fast and convenient. Thank you!!!

When I called into T-Mobile the girl didn't care if she helped me. She was more concerned that I gave her a satisfactory rating. I refused. I couldn't understand what she was saying. I told her to slow down. She said she could file my claim and she didn't. After 10 days I went into T-Mobile and the guy helped me. At the store my payment said it went thru. I had to go to my daughter's because it didn't. Finally got new phone but can't like data cause other phone was crap. It was a replacement and never worked right in the first place. Now I have to get special cords. So your phone will not be returned until I get info off of it. If you have a problem with that tough.

Services went accordingly to what they told me...Perfect! They approved my claim, sent out another phone w/ return envelope, put old phone no stamp in mailed in US. $99.00 was the cost. Thank you for this services.

The front part has fallen off, and when it is closed or opened you have to use a lot of force. And sometimes it is better to leave it open. But it is a problem when I have to leave by bus or train because I have to close it.

I filed a claim online for my damaged phone and the process went very smoothly. However I did have to make a follow up call after 2 days since I did not received an acknowledgment of my claim. The customer service representative was very efficient and courteous and I did receive my replacement phone within 2 days.

I dropped my phone, I am an electrical contractor in the Clearwater area and my phone is my life line. Upon dropping the phone, I requested the replacement online, super easy and fast. Assurant kept me in the loop on receiving the claim, shipping the phone out and they were quick to got the replacement phone to me and everything is great. Thank you all so much!!!!

My fairly new 5g S21 was knocked out my hand, screen cracked. Reached out to T-Mobile who said I need to go through Assurant. I've heard horror stories before, so now I process my order. It comes expeditiously in the mail!! Problem is my replacement has shut down 3 times in one day on its own!! I reached out and was told I have to send the replacement back for a replacement!! Which is ridiculous!! How can my replacement be not working properly but I'm told I have to be without my device cause y'all sent me a piece of Trash!!

Worst experience I’ve ever had with an insurance company. You guys had me buy a phone while I wait on my replacement device. I then spent the next 4 weeks waiting on a device that was supposed to take 3 days. I hope I never have to speak with this company ever again in life.

The screen of my phone cracked. I filed a claim aND had to pay $99.00 for a replacement which I did. The replacement phone arrived but I couldn't use it either because it was a defective phone. It had moisture in the charging port and I couldn't charge the phone.

My Phone was lost and Assurant Phone Insurance replaced it the day after we reported it missing. The process was easy and made it even fairly painless. In today's world this is a big plus. If you have multiple phones this is a big relief.

When I called they said my phone was OnePlus 7.. Noooo it was OnePlus 7 Pro so I had to wait a extra day before I could file my claim and speak to a sup to have it added.. I did finally get the right device but reps made me feel like I was lying and trying to pull a fast one.. Nooo I want the model I have and paid for.

New device came very fast. Agent over the phone was very nice and helpful. Even though when I tried to do everything through the T-Mobile app, it didn't go through, so I had to make a phone call to make a claim.

I could not get my phone exchange on mytmoclaim because I needed a password. Called T-Mobile and set up my password. Went back to mytmoclaim but my password didn't work. Called Assurant describing that my phone image screen is burnt and that there is a black spot in the upper right corner. Assurant said I need to talk to Tmobile since the phone is not physically damaged. Assurant transfer me to Tmobile. Tmobile says I need to talk to Assurant. I was upset and didn't want to keep calling Tmoble and Assurant back and forth. Tmobile agreed to do a three way call.
Assurant explained to Tmobile that since the phone isn't damaged my phone should be under warranty from Tmobile. Tmobile ordered me a replacement phone. I went to exchange my phone at a Tmobile store and the sales associate says even though screen is burnt and has a black dot they can't warranty exchange my phone because there is a small crack on the right side of the phone. WTF!!! I said the screen is burnt and I did not see a crack. They refused to do a warranty exchange and said I need to call Assurant to exchange my phone for $245. WTF!!!
Called Tmobile and did a three way call again with Assurant. Assurant ordered a phone for me and I paid my $245 deductible. After explaining my ordeal with Tmobile and that I have been a loyal Tmobile customer for 15yrs. They gave me a $150 credit. I believe I shouldn't have to pay anything for the amount of crap I had to go through. I will always be a Tmobile customer but I will never buy the phone protection anymore. This is my first written survey. I have never written any survey before because nothing will done. I know your response will be "We apologize for your inconvenience." Same load of **!! Prove me wrong and tell me what you will do to make me a happy Tmobile customer.

It's super simple. I had my phone over a year. I accidentally damaged it and it needed to be replaced. I filed a claim on the phone. Received no response then I accidentally dropped my other phone and because it had a sim card was replaced. However my other phone that now has no Sim as I understand will not be replaced even though I have paid for insurance on the phone which seems like robbery to me. All I want is both of my phones functioning.

I submitted my claim early on a Monday morning and didn't receive any email about my claim for two days. I had to call several times to get some information and was told different reasons for the delay each time I called. I had to get a T-Mobile expert to call with me to get answers. I was told the replacement phone would be received the next business day...it was delayed and caused us issues in transacting at the T-mobile store. I called 611 and was put on hold for over an hour and when I called back I was told that I have to call back some other time as my call cannot be received at that time. I called back and got the same message. Customer service is not not knowledgeable and not helpful...very disappointed.

Hi. I was told I would be getting a new phone not refurbished. I ended up with refurbished phone with fingerprints and sticky stuff all over it. Every time I get refurbished phones it's always someone else's problem phone I inherit. Never works and sad part is you charge me for it every month and 99 fee to get it. Mohsen and Mary

Once T-Mobile gave me the number for Assurant everything was very smooth. When I called the number there was an option to complete my claim online which was very easy to follow. Overall my experience was very easy and smooth.

I broke my phone and Assurant sent a replacement that wasn't quite functional. I notified them and they sent a replacement for the replacement! They gave me no hard time at all. Nothing but personal, understanding attention. Ms. ** was patient and very attentive. She even called to make sure I received the 2nd replacement and to make sure I was satisfied with everything. The service I received was excellent. It was timely and above my expectation. But the replacement device is no good. It's outdated, some of my programs can be used because the phone is old. Every time it rains I lose service. Because of that, sad to say I am very disappointed.

Everything was fine doing the claim. Once I received the phone, I knew it was a refurbished phone which is fine but the plastic on the screen and around the cameras had so much adhesive that the T-Mobile employee who helped me out had trouble removing it. The only reason I kept it was because I needed my phone and couldn't wait.

Horrible experience with Assurant. Worst company. Worst customer service. Not my fault that UPS didn’t deliver my package. I do the claim automatically that I received the email that my package was deliver and now I have to keep waiting because Assurant needs to do an investigation. In the meanwhile here I am without my device and service, for more than a week. Answer from Assurant, "I am sorry for this inconvenience. You have to wait." Great job!!?? Never again with you guys and I will make sure everybody knows. It's better to pay private insurance.

Process was fairly easy but we were initially under the impression that we should return the inoperable device to the nearest T-Mobile store for exchange. That was an extra unplanned trip for us. Packaging the inoperable device in an acceptable manner was not readily explained. That could be further explained and laid out in a easy return 1-card guide. Thank you!

I put my claim in and was sent a defective device, I return the device, then I called Monday 28 and was told I was going to receive phone the next day. Now it's Wednesday 30th and haven't received replacement, at this point I'm going to say that service is extremely poor. Not happy at all.

I am so pleased with Assurant phone insurance. We've had insurance on our phones for added protection to our devices. We have never had a problem filing a claim when it was needed. The customer service was exceptional and understanding of whatever the situation was. The devices were replaced quickly. I've recommended Assurant to friends and family because I believe in when a product is worth sharing do so.

They respond fast. But I have a 1st problem with the phone that I have from them last time. It always asking me to update the phone even though I already updated 2x. And I also turn it off. The second problem that I encounter in the same phone is no notification to not charge the phone cause still water inside, even though I didn't use it under water. But one of the feature of the phone is water resistant. That's why I got confused. And now I ask for replacement. Need to pay. And still asking me to update the phone even though I updated it 3x.

Shipped me a replacement device that had dirt and tape adhesive residue on it. Made me ship it back before you'd send me a clean one, extending the replacement process to three full business days, not to mention hours on the phone with Assurant and T-Mobile trying to figure out the process to resolve Assurant sending me a literally visibly dirty device.

I lost my device and filed a claim on Wednesday, June 16, 2021. I paid 249 dollars deductible for a replacement device, that's on top of the monthly insurance premium. Yet, Assurant sent me a defective refurbished iPhone that couldn't hold power for 30 minutes. I took it to a T-mobile store, it confirmed that the device isn't worth a dime. I called Assurant, they refused to replace the device and gave me a runaround. What's the excuse for such exploitative business model? Please stop taking hundreds or thousands of dollars from hardworking people for services that you cannot provide.

I had the phone for 4 days and did not drop it. It was cracked without even dropping it and was in a case. Phone is completely functional but is cracked. It had never cracked like that before within days of having it.

Crack screen on device replaced with newer device. Ease of use to navigate the site. Pleasant surprise the deductible amount and, quick turn around. I did have issue with my mail person taking the envelope from my mailbox. It was a small price to pay to drop the device at the post office. Overall I am very pleased with the exchange and very happy to have my newer device.

Started June 6th, still waiting for a device that works. Long /short I am considering suing. You are trying my life. I have been without a working device for almost 30 days. The time, money and stress is a worth time and money!! I am pregnant and NOW HOMELESS as well as was unable to reach out to phone court when they couldn't reach me so I have been to jailer a weekend and I'm 8 MONTHS PREGNANT. YOU HAVE FAILED BY SENDING ME T_MOBILE DEVICES TWICE and I am...well WAS a very loyal metro customer. And now I'm STILL WAITING TO BE APPROVED AGAIN FOR YOU TO SHOP ANOTHER PHONE.

I cannot speak highly enough of the quality, courtesy, professionalism, patience and kindness of every single customer service rep. that I have spoken with over the past several years. I am both pretty rough, and unlucky with my top of the line cell phones....and have had at least 5 or 6 claims through Assurant. Customer Service here is on par with TMobile. Too bad the majority of service providers out there do not have the same quality of personnel or training. 5 STAR rating? Easily.

Paid My deductible on Sunday and I received my new phone Tuesday very quick. I am very satisfied. The only problem was I was sent to the store to pay my deductible only to be sent back home and told to pay over the phone. The people on the phone were way more helpful than the store representative at the Dewitt New York location.

I received a replacement tablet. I was unable to activate it because it was still linked to the previous owner's account. I learned this after getting the run around. Now, I have to send it back before I can get another one. Very inconvenient.

Broken Samsung S10+ broke and I had insurance so I was sent a replacement on Saturday and I received it on Tuesday. I was amazed at how fast this arrived. I used the shipping label and package and returned the broken one the same day.

2) I learned the phone sent to me is used, worth less than half of what I originally paid.
3) I’ll be charged the $500 plus dollars for the used phone if I chose to keep my original phone.
Insurance is supposed to make a person ‘whole’. Demanding a phone that’s paid for seems unfair on every level. Sending me a used phone whilst demanding my original one is not ‘whole’ compensation. I’ve been a T-Mobile customer for at least 10 years, I’ve paid for insurance plus the $99 it cost to get a new phone. Is the $99 for the cost to open a claim? Is it for the phone itself? I’m confused. The fact that the insurance policy states I could be sent a refurbished or new phone was repeated pushed. I am aware of that but nowhere does it state one or the other cannot be requested. I did not think I was asking for too much when I asked if I could return my original phone and the refurbished phone for a brand new phone. The answer was a resounding “NO”.
The representative went so far to say, without checking a single thing, that no new phones were available ‘in my color’. I have a coral color phone, a bit unusual color. When I inquired if there a new phone available in ANY color for the Samsung Galaxy S10e, again, without checking anything, I received a resounding “NO”. The representative really lost my patience and business when they attempted to compare cellphone device protection insurance with my auto insurance. For the amount of money I pay monthly, I could squirrel away my own insurance fund & purchase a brand new phone each year if I chose. I am looking for a new cell service provider so I can do just that.

I had a very easy time getting my phone replaced by Assurant. The website was very easy and straightforward to use. I was pleasantly surprised when I didn't have to go through a firing squad to get a replacement. This isn't my first replacement phone with Assurant so I know that they make the process pretty painless. But it still surprises me to this day. Then, I was able to get my replacement in almost no time. And sending back my old phone was easy too. So, needless to say, I am very happy with the service, speed, and the replacement.

The phone I received was inferior compared to the original phone I had or it was very defective as to the 5g. Did not work at all in all the known places that I know to have that signal and I have been using alot of data because of this reason. Yes in short very disappointing and dissatisfied. I even went to the Xfinity Mobile store to see if the tech support there could see what the problem was. They said they never encountered such an issue like that before.... Also I notice the model I have is an older refurbished phone compared to my original phone model. This may be one of the reasons if not working properly. And yes I did all the updates as well...

First off there were a couple small issues when calling to replace my phone. The first issue was the fact that the color that they were offering was not correct, they offered a blue phone when my current phone was black, that was an easy fix. The next problem was the size of the hard drive that they offered me was a 128gb when my current phone was a 512gb. This was easily fixed and updated and they quickly sent me my replacement phone after paying my fee. I even received my phone one day in advance.
HOWEVER, the problem was that the replacement Samsung Android S20+ phone they sent me comes with a screen protector already installed. The Android phone they sent me had an iPhone screen protector which was smaller than my s20 plus screen and had the circular home button for an iPhone installed on it. So now I have to order a new screen protector for what I am going to assume is a used phone. Besides that I would say that the process was fair.

By accident I dropped my phone in water. Took it into Xfinity on Thursday and replacement arrived in late afternoon on Friday. Wonderful. I had to Wait until my daughter got home on Monday. I never had any problems with claim. However now I'm waiting for approval for 3 to 5 business days. I work from home and use my phone. Having problems with my phone because the screen is crack. I didn't have money to fix the phones. Now have to wait for 3 or 5 days plus I need to wait so they send it to me and I paid my insurance for this. This not right.

My son cracked the screen on his new phone and the insurance covered it, minus the deductible. The replacement device arrived next business day and provided plenty of time to move the data and verify that everything was there before sending the damaged device in. After going through the entire process, being told I had to pay a deductible, receive the phone, get it turned on, the local store I go to says it may or may not be better than the one I turned in AND that I could have put that deductible toward an Upgrade new phone! I am very upset at the way I was treated with the last claim I files with you. I have services at both Metro PCS and T-Mobile. One side of the coin tmobile I have filed claims and have had a replacement within 24hours. The other side of coin I filed a lost phone claim and it took over 14 days to process. WHY? I have been a paying customer for over 10 years. There is no way to explain the disappointment that I have. I needed that phone and it seemed rather prejudicial. I am incensed! I have the contract that says that my deductible should be $175 TOPS!! I pay on a monthly basis for premium handset protection and then they have the nerve to charge me $249 for a deductible which is nowhere on this paper! I cannot believe they are taking advantage of customers in that way. I am looking for a new insurance company. I don't have to submit myself to this.

I went through a whole bunch of trouble to try and make this deal happen. I received my replacement phone and it gets hot within 5 minutes of turning it on. The left upper quadrant heats up no matter what you're doing. I don't feel safe using that phone but T-Mobile says it's not covered by you anymore.

I made a claim and was sent a replacement phone that was not authorized for activation and the situation was not properly handled, nor was it time or customer relations productive. I have yet to receive my replacement. Insurance company needs to find a better way to replace equipment. As well as communication efforts.

I ordered a new phone and never received my phone. I called Insurance to figure out what's going on and they told me I have to wait 10 to 14 days to have an answer on what happened to my phone and still doesn't mean that I will find anything out about a new device. So I have to wait almost a month with no phone because the UPS guy decided to leave my phone on the front porch outside of my screen and now I'm pretty sure someone has stolen it. So I called Insurance to try to resolve the situation and here I am stuck with no phone that I have paid for.

This company have awful, bad trained employees with so bad manners! They kept disconnecting the call in my face! Even with the Tmobile Agent present at the call. He had to escalate the case because he couldn't believe the way I was being treated and the awful service! I don’t think my replacement item is in good condition. The iPad takes a whole day to charge. The replacement one before this was the same way. The charging port wasn’t working properly. It took a while to charge as well. Even with a fast charger it still doesn’t charge fast.

I submitted the claim on 06/16/2021. Received a refurbished iPhone, damaged and scratched everywhere on 06/18. I called Assurant on 06/18 and returned (mailed) the replacement iphone on the same day. Didn’t hear back for days. Called again assurant on 06/25 to check the status of my claim and hoping that I will get a new replacement iphone.

I lost my phone and T-mobile told me if I downloaded the Find My Phone app. They could find it for me. This was not my first phone I lost. They could not help me this time. Or would not locate my phone. You were patient and tried to help when I asked. I had a problem with my card and did not know my card was shut off due to fraud. I eventually got that problem resolved and got my phone. I am happy with the service, my phone on the other hand.... I am not sure of. The battery seems to be draining quick. Other than that, I am happy with Assurant and stay with T-mobile because of you. I have been a T-mobile customer for sixteen years.

It took 2 1/2 weeks to get my replacement phone. First I had to pay 180 copay. When we got it figured out what the problem was. This was with Ladies at Spectrum. I got no communication from Assurant until 2 days after we finally got replacement phone. To say that I was not happy with the results. Also my deductible was $50 instead of $180. Get your ** together.

Although there was a major issue getting me "validated", and the app gave me problems too; the agents I spoke to were helpful, friendly and pleasant to talk to. All in all it was a smooth experience, except for the validation issue. My last 4 and the last 4 Xfinity had on file didn't match what your last 4 on file. That was through the app, the automated system and through 2 agents until a manager had to step in. Again even with the frustration, I'm a happy customer and the process was great otherwise.

I was disappointed in the amount of time it took for representatives to respond. Also, the replacement phone was not compatible. I ended up returning the replacement phone and buying a new one. Finally, I had an issue with sensitive data on the phone, and because I was unable to do a factory reset, my company suggested that I destroy the phone instead of returning it. Assurant would not accommodate, although the deductible for a lost phone and a broken phone is the same. I ended up buying another phone.

My phone died on a Monday and I requested a replacement on Wednesday and I received a replacement device, within 24hrs as the service states and offers. It was quick and transition was easy. Customer service was very helpful and it worked out fine. I miss my old phone and I may not be a fan of the new phone, because after a few weeks of usage, I found some things to be glitchy. However, the service from Assurant was great!!

I've been paying this insurance for about 2 years now. I made a claim, got sent a phone, but was also sent a message saying my new phone that I've paid for twice over is not insured on the insurance I've been paying for??? Overall the experience was easy and quick, really wasn't that hard to file and finish my claim. Only gripe is having a deductible on top of continuous monthly bill. $99 is nicer than $1200 for new device so otherwise it was a good experience.

During my move my phone was missing, that's an awful feeling when your pertinent information is somewhere you don't know. I was hoping that it would show up and it didn't. I contacted customer service with this situation and had my new phone in 2 days. They assisted me and now I have a new home and phone. I'm so glad that I had insurance. Customer Service was great. I am a T-Mobile customer on the family plan. My granddaughter's phone was dropped in a puddle on a sidewalk. A cracked screen and jumping video resulted. I applied for replacement online and was accepted the same day. New replacement came in 3 days. Within 2 days I placed the broken phone in the envelope and sent as directed. Two weeks later I received a letter telling me to return the phone or be charged. I thought they are backed up. I sent it. Then I received another letter 2 weeks after that. I called and they said they did indeed received it but it's in the warehouse somewhere and they cant find it. They told me to call back in ten days to make sure that they had it so I wouldn't get charged. I told them I did what I had to do. "You find out what happened. It's in your warehouse."
So, a month later June 17ish I received my bill notice in my email stating they are charging me a much larger amount. Yes it was Assurant. I called them explained it all. Was put on hold again to be told they did receive it BUT, there was no phone and get this there was no tampering done to the envelope. I was shocked! I did send the broken no good to me phone back!! I was then told to go to my post office and ask where my phone was!! Didnt he just say the envelope wasnt tampered with? I asked for a manager. She said she would see if anything could be done. I told her I wanted the charge to be taken off my bill. She said it would be one to two months before it was decided whether I would be charged or not. She said they would put a pending note so I wouldnt be charged. That's really hard to believe! I have no trust in a business that tells its customers to put the articles in the mail without any receipts.
Dont do it. Go to the post office or UPS and get a receipt. Can you imagine how much money they can make getting away with this? Reading the other reviews they probably sent the cracked screen phone to that one poor lady! What a racket taking broken phones saying they are refurbished sending them to customers and saying they didnt receive items and charging people for them. Also we pay for insurance each month!!

My watch was stolen so I had to file a claim, a week or so later I received the watch. The watch I received came with a charger that was not for this model and when I contacted customer care they were no help and did not resolve my problem whatsoever and I’m really disappointed they also said they were not supposed to send a charger with the watch that makes no sense I pay my insurance I think I should get better service.

It was good. The 3rd time I called I had a very helpful agent. My T-Mobile agent also help out a whole lot. I have been a T-Mobile customer for 13 plus years now and they have been very good to us. We have like 12 lines. 2 tablets and most of our kids have iPhones even my mother in law.

To start off with, apparently there are 2 different company lines that US Cellular uses with Assurant. I got sent to the wrong one. Luckily they were able to just transfer me, but that was extra time that I didn't want to have be on the phone. The claim was processed easily. They sent me a confirmation email with the address of the business that I needed to take my phone to get repaired. I got sent to a boarded up shop. Luckily the phone sent with the address still worked, and I was able to get to the correct location within 15 minutes. This was just the extra hassle I didn't want to have when dealing with repairs. Everything with the claim and repair went smoothly.

Basically lost my phone and called T Mobile who handled the situation perfect and processed the claim with Assurant. Soon after my phone was reported found and I called t mobile again and shipped back the unopened box and my phone ended up being blocked without a notice for 5 days straight after paying $249.90 for the replacement phone. Therefore, my daughter couldn’t contact me nor my close family. Therefore I called t mobile a week later and they fixed the situation with one click and I was no longer blocked. (The assurant customer service stated that they couldn’t help me and I felt I had no options.) If I could give a 0 score I would.

I tried to do it online, but ran into problems with the 3 way verification code with the iPhone. Fixing that would be very helpful and less frustrating to your customers. The overall experience was a nightmare. Their was an agent I spoke to, who was supposed to be processing my payment. But for some strange reason that payment never processed, and instead $600 give or take was taken from my account. I know they can find that call with all calls being recorded. Instead they told me, that I never made that call, didn't offer an apology, or a solution going forward. If I ever need the insurance going forward I'll go through the store.

After ASSURANT sent me the wrong item on my INSURANCE CLAIM, (they sent me a Stylo 6 cell phone instead of my tablet, my 5.1 GPad). Not only did the workers that I talked to on the phone directly but also confirmed by their manager supposed to leave the top manager in the building was he married according to a guy named Harold, but you did nothing to help benefit for Rectify my situation. You could say he was sorry which was meaningless. They sent me the wrong phone. Until they see proof that it was in the mail back to them they would not process my claim.
Yes, the Ione already paid for, and been approved for, could be processed and mail to me. So I had to stop what I was doing, in the middle of my work day, so that I can get through as quickly as possible back to assurant, so they can mail me the correct item. Totally inconvenient for me go back four different times after that to make sure that they got the tracking number and if they would send up any tablet. I called back about 5 days after my original claim. I want to find out that they're still waiting for me to verbally authorize them to send the tablet which I have already done for the previous 5 or 6 prior calls...
Needless to say after this long ordeal because of the weekend and all the ** I had to deal with regarding them sending me the wrong item originally I didn't get my tablet for six days instead of 24 hours! What a joke. They should have at least compensated me. When I spoke to the manager giving me a passing a bill giving me twenty bucks off give me something instead. They said all they could offer me was their sincere apologies which were not sincere at all. Needless to say I will not be recommending this company to anyone, except to warn them is it possible ** but they might encounter in dealing with this company. Sincerely what used to be a loyal customer!

Dialing directly to Assurant number will get you help needed but if you don't have your pin number and dial carrier you are subject to be transferred for days. This is what make hold times longer. Causes confusion.

I wasn't happy that it took me 5 days to get the new phone, in a package that said OVERNIGHT. The phone I now have doesn't work much better than one I turned in. In no way can this phone claim to be "refurbished". If I want something, I have to tap it 5, 8, sometimes 10 times. This is HOW phones become broken!! I know it's just a matter of time before the damn phone goes back. Paying as much as I do monthly for the insurance, I should get a phone that works!! For these reasons, I gave them a two rating. If they give me garbage about taking this phone back, that will drop to a 1.

We bought a phone for our kids to have when they are away from home. Our daughter took it to summer camp and only in the second day of having it, an accident happened and something heavy fell on the phone. The phone was basically ruined. We filed a claim online with Assurant and within 2 days we had received the replacement. The whole process was incredibly easy and smooth. We’re very thankful that we were able to pay a deductible and get it replaced rather than have to buy a new phone, had we not had insurance. I would highly recommend Assurant, especially if you have kids or if you are rough on your phones.

I was told by a T-Mobile Customer service agent that my deductible would be waived, and then told by an agent from Assurant that the deductible could not be waived. Because of this I didn't have a phone for 3 weeks. Rest assured I will never deal with liars and will never use Assurant ever again!

I made an ins claim on my phone. They said they would overnight it. It took 4 days. The "new" phone was covered in a gross sticky substance and it did not come with a new charger. My phone wouldn't charge, so why not send a new charger cord. Seriously the sticky substance was very hard to get off. Very disappointing. Pay $100 for no charger and gross phone.

My son needed to get his phone replaced. I tried to pay the deductible multiple times and multiple ways on the website. It finally showed that it had been paid. We waited for a few weeks and heard nothing. Finally, I called and the associate blamed me for not being able to pay and said that the site didn't have any issues. A few days later I phoned again after trying many times and trying to solve it with the online chat and not getting any help. When I phoned again, I finally got someone who helped me. She keyed in my payment and it went straight through. This proved that the website has issues accepting payments. I was so frustrated with the lack of help. I had to speak to four different people before getting someone who would actually help instead of just blaming me or not even listening to me.

Horrible experience. The new SIM card ICCID was recorded incorrectly when sending with new phone. I could not make or receive calls. Spent about 3.5 hours with chat between Assurant and Xfinity agents (passed to no less than 6) to recognize what problem was and have system updated with correct sim numbers.

Assurant it is one of the worst companies ever. I’m paying insurance every month so if something happens to my cellphone assurant will replace next day. Well in this case that did not happen. It a whole week for us to get a replacement phone because they were verifying IDs. So my husband lost a lot of money that week because he works with his phone. But T-Mobile or assurant don’t care.

Your customer service was horrible on the phone for 6 hours and in the end you denied my claim. Horrible!!!!! I even spoke to a supervisor and just told to eat **, luckily T-Mobile helped me out, also charged my card 3 times. Horrible!!!!

It was an easy process. Just open the app and explain the situation, pay the deductible and my phone arrived 2 days later. I was thinking about upgrading my phone but that would have probably cost me 300 to 500 dollars. I decided to use my insurance since I pay monthly on it and why not save a few hundred. Good idea and thanks.
