Just wanted to give a big thanks/shout out to everyone. Made it really easy to get my phone replaced. The speed of everything was awesome as well. I was able to get everything taken care of within a few days and sending the old phone back now. Thanks!

The screen kept blinking out, also the screen had a yellowish flickering backlight that flicker whenever the phone was put on the charger. The device would not light up when a call come in. Also the light touch to the phone had to press down hard to get the phone to react or the keypad to work.

My claim was approved 7/10/21 and it’s 7/19/2021 and I still don’t have my replacement! I was told by customer that I would receive the phone the next day and I was given wrong information so my vacation was ruined and I’m still without a phone because I was given the wrong information!

My phone was stolen and they replaced it quickly and without any red tape. I would definitely recommend them. Very positive experience. I appreciate how I can do everything on the phone and don't have to go into a store.

The process of making a claim is self explanatory and easy. My only issue is that the phone I got sent has faulty software. The phone that was sent to me constantly restarts randomly. As the phone that was sent is on warranty I was able to get it replaced. However the original phone sent should have been a functioning phone.

I placed my claim for a damaged Galaxy s20 5G online. The process was easy to follow and the Assurant's response was very prompt. I received my new replacement phone within one business day. T-Mobile helped me transfer the data to the new phone and then dropped the old phone into my corner USPS drop box.

The associate that helped me with my claim was very helpful. The phone arrived to me the next day. They set up. Process was extremely easy. The associate with her that helped me with that as well was wonderful. It was a great experience all the way around.

I broke my screen while on vacation and sent It in as soon as I got back and received my replacement the next business day. I love that I just get to keep my replacement instead of waiting for my phone to get returned back to me. It’s easier that way. Thank you Assurant!

I was dissatisfied due to my insurance replacement phone was defective (won't power on) and I have been without a phone going on two weeks now. I have shipped both defective phones back to Assurant & have yet to receive my replacement phone, so I'm still to this date without a phone. I would appreciate an upgrade on phone for my inconvenience.

The process was very quick and I had no hassle with getting my son phone replaced. They also gave us a loaner phone till our replacement phone came back so that we did not have to go without a phone which I found so generous. Great customer service. When we went into the store it was a very friendly and sanitized environment.

Took them long to approve my claim but when they did they did approve it and my phone came in 1 day or 2 days. Was satisfied with that. I was not satisfied how long it took for them to approve the claim.

I sent my phone and now you all are trying to charge me $350 for a phone that you all received. I requested for the IMEI that you all received, you could not share. I requested for pictures of the device your received, you couldn't share. I don't understand why you cannot share information with the account holder. It sounds like you all are tyring to hide what you all are actually doing. You all are stealing money from people with your fraudulent activities. My account is currently suspended because of this issue.

When I accidentally dropped my phone and cracked the screen, the process to order a replace through my insurance was easy. Making the claim was simple and the shipment was fast. I made the request after 8pm on a Friday and I had my replacement by Monday. 5 star service.

Not only I paid $200 dollars to have 2 of my phones replaced a couple of years ago I'm going through the same thing all over again when I lived in KCMO. I was told that my 2 phones were at a dock in Texas now that I reside in Texas. I have yet another phone at a dock that I paid the deductible on. I could be reached ** and I just had to pay my phone bill today for phone that I have not had for over a month.

Do NOT use their phone insurance, they have you mail your phone to them, then don't scan it, then contact your carrier and say you didn't return it. Claim they got an empty package. Then they stick you with an $752 bill. They tell you to just complain to the post office. Not their problem.

I dealt with a customer service agent who was quite efficient and patient. She took the time to listen to my queries and advised me accordingly. This kind of experience is important to me because I am a retired person who sometimes do not understand technology as younger persons do. I am also pleased that my replacement phone was delivered overnight as promised. Great service,!!!

Sent in old phone for new replacement. Was sent a phone that is no longer used. Now it won't work saying don't unplug usb cord until it upload. Been stuck on it ever since I left tmobile store after reset.

The phone does not receive calls at my home in Terra Ceia FL. The phone I had did receive calls at that location. I have not been able to get the mic to work. The personnel at TMobile have also tried to make it work. I am going to contact TMobile online help and see if they can get it to work. I am concerned that the phone I have received is a defective phone.
I am going to try to get it to work, but I have already spent a lot of time myself as well as the very competent personnel at T-mobile so I am thinking I may need another option such as another phone, a phone that works. If you have any suggestions that would help me get the phone to work, that would be great. If I can't get it to work, I don't know what else to do but send it back.

My claim required review for some reason even though I've been with Metro for years. My cell phone is my business phone so I was without a business phone for 5 days. I went to Metro to activate an old phone since you guys were taking so long and they said if I activated an old phone it would void my insurance claim which I think is stupid. In addition probably the worst part about your entire system is that it will not allow you to enter a different shipping address. It will only allow you to put the address on the account or the billing address of your credit card.
I travel for my business so neither of those were valid options so I spent literally hours on the phone with your representatives to get another address entered to send my phone to. In addition to that I had to try three different credit cards to pay my deductible because your system kept denying them probably because of the address situation. With the time that I wasted on the phone with you people I would have been better off just purchasing a new phone at full cost. Strongly considering canceling my insurance on all three phones. That's how dissatisfied I was with your service.

I reported a damaged phone online, I received a replacement phone promptly and instructions on how to return the damaged phone. I had problems getting the data off the old phone as it would not turn on. I made a phone call to the office and was told what to do; placed the damaged phone in the envelope provided and mailed it back. The process could not have been easier!!

One rep says my phone will be shipped as soon as I give tracking number other rep says that’s wrong and phone will ship later next day. Each one tells me the other one is wrong. Lied about delivery. Waited twice as long.

I own my phone. So when the display screen broke I was pissed because I could not create complete a backup. I could not approve the connection to my PC, so creating a backup or pulling all my files was not possible. I appreciate that Assurant was able to get me a new one. It's going to take me forever to get all my apps and settings.

I'm rating low because I only had a cracked screen. My plan states cracked screens 29.99 but since no one in area fixes Samsung 21 screen for new phone I was forced to get a replacement phone at $99 which I wasn't too happy about because I didn't want a refurbished phone. And I felt it was wrong for me to have to pay for a new phone when plan clearly states cracked screens 29.99. It's not my fault you guys don't have people to fix it. Starting to regret switching from Apple. Lot more cost effective at this point smh... But other than that Assurant is alright with me.

I have dealt with Assurant a few times over the years when I have needed to get a replacement and every time I have been very satisficed with their service. Now that I can put the claim in on the website, the service is even better. They are fast and efficient.

Don't have claim. Threw paperwork away...Had terrible time getting to anyone that could inform me as to where the claim was. My phone would not charge and My pin would not allow me into the web to check. Had to call T-Mobile and complain. They solved my problem after 9 days.

The worst claims experience. Read the notes on both claim files to understand. Claim numbers **. Had to deal with at least 15 people while spending hours on the phone with incompetent people who don't understand their processes.

Honestly I only gave 5 stars because I am aware how a survey can affect someone's paycheck and I don't know which of the 6 calls this is for. I had to call 6 times and had my claim denied twice before it was finally approved. I was certain that I qualified so was persistent but it was a horribly frustrating time consuming experience. Some reps were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful while others were quite the opposite. I believe my claim was denied twice due to incorrectly inputted information causing me to have to spend even more of my precious time fighting to get what I pay for. Kudos to the final representative who FINALLY got me taken care of.

I'm very upset 3 hours after replacement phone was activated the sound and texting stopped. I should of gotten a new phone not a refurbished one. Now I have to send it back and until it's received, I won't have another shipped out. I'm very upset.

A checking out at a local Walmart I am at certainly left my phone at the self checkout. I went back and asked the worker that was there in the area that was very close by where I was did she see my phone in the purple case that I had left and she claimed that she did not see it but remember that I had just checked out. My husband and I used the tracking for the phone when it's lost but to no avail. We could not find exactly what the phone was. I made a claim, paid for my replacement and my phone was here the next day.

My phone was stolen. Already a victim had to pay 250.00 for a replacement phone, which I found out was a refurbished phone. I was told I would receive the phone in 24 hours but received in 48 hours. Looking for another way to insure my phone.

Assurant was quick to replace phone the next day. We have had claims in the past with them and 24 hr replacement they quoted turned into receiving 3 days later. So was very surprised phone arrived so quickly for once!

As we all have done at least one time upon leaving my phone on top of my car at the gas pumps then pulling off only to catch a glimpse of it sliding off my next viewing of it I wasn't sure if it was a phone or not, worried that my own negligence would cause me to not be able to get a replacement under warranty boy was I wrong, upon starting to tell the representative of my mishap she was quick to inform me none of that mattered. It was a accident and accidents happen, she took all my information and gave me some instructions told me the timeline of the replacement arrival, asked if I had any questions and if I understood everything.
She then said good luck have a good day and by that time I was thinking to myself man if every representative for all companies was as polite and efficient as this one was people would have more time to do other things because we wouldn't be on our phones trying to get something straighten out that the last rep messed up because she or he didn't really want to work that day or because we spent 30 minutes trying to get a 10 minute problem addressed, you readers know exactly what I mean, well after all that was finished up within 48 hours I was using my new phone letting a few important people know I was back up and running and it was business as usual, if there's 1 thing in all the mess I found myself in it was selecting the right people to cover my warranty

The Assurant process is great, it gets me a replacement phone quickly and one that is up to par with what I had. The only issue I have with the process is that you only have 10 days from the day you get it to have them receive it back. That time frame I think is too tight. It could be 15 or 20 days to give you time to go through your new and old phone fully and ensure you got everything downloaded and updated right and just give it a good once thru. I know I had to send my phone back sooner than I hoped and there are a few apps that I didn't get to check.

The claim was not processed until I did call and questioned to the customer service I have to ask for a supervisor. Other than that I would be still waiting for my replacement even though you already charge me the fee $99 and took my money from the bank. It is not acceptable.

I did the insurance claim and they send me the device after 7 days and when I receive the device it was damaged and I call them back and they said I have to mailed them that device and they don’t know when they will send me another phone. This company sucks.

Replaced my mobile phone when it was broken... Handset Protection Plan... Making a claim was really easy on the Metro PCS claim application, just a few clicks and it was done... Was able to get a replacement phone immediately at the Metro PCS store.

Broke my note 20 ultra, filed a claim and the next day I received a brand new phone with a very reasonable deductible, they provided an envelope to include the damaged phone, making it very simple and convenient to ship it back, very pleased.

One of our employees had their phone break, it was actually smoking out of the battery terminal. We did a replacement thru the warranty. I made a claim for a lost phone. The next day the phone was found but damaged. When replacement phone came, I called to amend my claim. Had to send replacement phone back and wait over a week before replacement phone 2 came. Ridiculous!

My phone had a charging issue, went to US CELLULAR. Thank goodness I had purchased insurance. With one call and several ?'s later and a $99.00 deductible, I had a new phone in 3 days. Very satisfied with the service and attention given to my issue.

The fact that I pay $12/month for insurance and still have to pay a $100 deductible to get a new phone when it's damaged is excessive. I've covered the deductible multiple times over the course of paying for my phone and the fact that I shell out more money for a replacement is dumb and clearly a penny pinching, cheapskate move by Assurant to get more than enough money from consumers.

Process was relatively easy. Replacement arrived about 5 days later but it was a holiday weekend. Had some difficulty activating but that issue was more likely on Xfinity end. Overall, I appreciated the efficient and courteous customer service.

I have Been paying for insurance on my phone for years and years. Was told as long as I didn't Need a replacement due to loss or stolen I would not have to pay a deductible however once I made my first claim in years I was Told I had A 100 deductible and I needed to pay before my claim gets processed. I don't Like being deceived and that’s exactly what they did. I literally paid over 1000 dollars to them throughout the years plus the 100 deductible now. Not happy at all.

My experience was horrible, it took over a week of me trying to put in my claim everyday. My son's phone was broken and inoperable, so he reverted back to his previous phone. I put my claim in within 10 days of the switch and was denied because he wasn't using his broken phone. I had to involve my carrier for support in settling this issue and was still given the run around over and over again, including from the supervisor. All while insurance and payments on the phone was current. Going forward I might reconsider including the insurance on future phone purchases!

There was a communication barrier and originally some misunderstanding. The replacement they tried to give us was not of equal value to the phone being replaced. Took several phone calls to get it corrected. The replacement phone arrived quickly and my son is happy with the replacement.

It took two days and at least seven calls to finally complete the process to get my replacement once my claim was approved. Every representative gave a different answer and kept sending me to T-Mobile care who in turn will send back to Assurant. It has been one of the most frustrating experiences in dealing with a service in many years.

I received a screen replacement on my Samsung Galaxy S10+. The process wasn't hard. I am just satisfied with the screen since it was replaced. It looks like there are very small cracks on the new screen. These appeared within a week or 2 of replacement. I kind of wish I had just left it as it was.

When I received the replacement phone, the screen was shattered, there was no pin to open the SIM tray to put the SIM card in, there was no power cords or base. When contacted the insurance said too long a time had gone by. I could choose another insurance claim that would be approved (if so sure of approval why not honor the original claim to completion?) and pay another co-payment, which from principle I refused and I will go with another company, preferably one that is honorable and deals on the up and up.

They sent me a phone taped to a box. I purchased a new phone. I got a refurbished one. Also it came like 5 days after I ordered and paid for it. The tracking on the shipping was unknown for at least 3 days.

Received defective replacement phone, it was damaged and battery kept overheating. I told them I am returning the phone. I requested a refund and I was told that I needed to contacted T-mobile and that the money I paid for the replacement was nonrefundable. Imagine, being sent a defective product and they refused to replace it.

I received the replacement phone and was disappointed that it gets extremely hot and doesn't hold a charge very long. I believe it is a refurb phone as well, when I requested a new replacement since many years I received a refurb phone and had nothing but problems until it was eventually replaced. I brought this one to the TMobile store and they told me they couldn't do anything for me. Is there anything you can do before this becomes a never ending problem?

I was highly satisfied as far as Assurant replacing my phone. I didn’t receive my phone until Friday July 9th but It was initially to arrive on July 8th. The tracking info from FedeX wasn’t informative as it changed. Once it wasn’t delivered on the original date there wasn’t any update to follow per the tracking number.

It's been more than ridiculous how many times I have to explain to the customer support representative that I have found my phone and I need to send it over in order to receive the difference of $149. Do water damage only. That's why one of the reasons that I don't like is to be transferred to Asia. None of the last. She didn't want me to send it over for a refund nor she didn't understand that I found my lost phone.

Starting the claim process was not as smooth and easy as it could have been. The site didn’t let me complete the claim the first time that I tried but I somehow still received an email saying that my claim was received. When I didn’t hear anything back I tried to file the claim again. This time I was able to complete the process and the new device arrived very quickly. On June 24, 2021, I dropped my phone on a beach in New Jersey, where a few waves swished over it before my daughter rescued it from sweeping out to sea...and lost 2 days of vacation photos. On June 25, a Friday, at 11 AM, because I was on vacation, and I didn't have information for Assurant with me, I called T-Mobile to start a claim. I was connected to Terry, at Assurant, and was given the above order number along with an approval code **. I gave him my contact information, my email, as well as a different cell phone number for re-contact. I was informed that there was free next day delivery of a replacement phone, and also that I would need to return my broken phone within 10 days of receipt of the new phone.
When I heard "Next Day", I asked, if that meant that a phone would arrive on Monday. I was informed that this WAS the case. Based on the Monday delivery of a working phone (I use my phone 5G for GPS while driving cross country), I asked if the phone could be sent to Connecticut, where we were staying on vacation. We notified work that we would be back a day later than expected, and we made arrangements to stay an extra day in Connecticut. I requested that the phone be sent to our vacation address in CT, instead of our home address in Texas. When I hung up the phone, I was completely assured that since I had called before 2 PM, and since there was next day delivery, a new phone WOULD arrive to the Connecticut address on Monday.
On Monday, June 28, at 11:30 AM, I checked to see the tracking information, and was dismayed to find that the phone would NOT reach Connecticut on Monday, but would arrive Tuesday evening. I also found an email from Assurant, saying that the broken phone would need to arrive in their office no later than July 5, or I would be assessed a fee of up to $900. That meant, if the phone arrived on Tuesday night, I, driving cross country, would have to ship back on Wednesday, and hope that the 4th of July holiday didn't hold things up. How insane! How impossible! It wasn't even close to the 10 days I had been told by the first rep at Assurant. Worst of all, I would not be in Connecticut, could not be in Connecticut, on Tuesday night, and had no one to receive or reject the phone that was in transit.
I called T-mobile again to start the help process. I was passed to Ashley ** at Assurant. This lady is brilliant and diligent, and extremely helpful and went above and beyond to help solve the problem of shipping and of return. Ashley told me that I actually had 45 days total to return the phone, so to not worry about the insane 5 day threat. She said that "Next Day" doesn't mean next day reception, it means, the shipment sends the next day (actually 2 Day).
She then reached out to UPS to stop the errant shipment of the replacement phone that was going to the Connecticut address (where we could not extend for another day), and as soon as UPS gave the verification of return to sender, Ashley initiated shipment of another phone to Garland, TX. She authorized shipment of the new phone on Monday - said that it would ship on Tuesday and would arrive on Wednesday or Thursday. Ashley put me on hold to do something, and we were disconnected.
I called back the number that I now had for Assurant, and reached Alex, who tried to find Ashley, but was unable to. It was now 12:30 PM on Monday. I explained what I had been doing with Ashley, and he told me that he would have to restart the process. So after my explaining the entire story to him, he said that he needed to contact UPS and put me on hold. We were disconnected. I called Assurant again, at now 1 PM. The representative had me go through the whole story again, and I decided that I needed to speak with a manager. I was not allowed to speak with a manager for 10 more minutes, while this representative questioned me about the whole process since the first call on Friday. Finally, I gently said, I want a manager now, and I was passed over to a manager, Christina.
I was now on the verge of exhausted tears, with hopelessness wrapping my soul. I was weary, and sad, that instead of happily waiting for my phone beside a cool, quiet pool, enjoying sun and iced coffee with my husband, I was inside, going on 2 hours of dealing with a seemingly impossible situation. Manager Christina was courteous and quick. As I began to describe the whole event, she stopped me, and said she had seen all of the documentation (...so why was I having to repeat the same process with every rep, each time I called in, if everything had been documented?), and that she had issued the phone replacement shipment, and that I would get the email confirmation. As she was saying that, the tracking information came through on an email. I was on the phone for less than five minutes with Christina, the problem now solved.
That phone, was shipped that day, Monday, and arrived at my home, early on Tuesday (Next Day) (even though I had been instructed that it would arrive Wednesday or Thursday). When I arrived home, I tried to get information from my damaged phone, finally taking it to my T-mobile store on Thursday, July 1, where it was deemed inoperable and a new SIM card inserted and activated, by a phone technician. July 5th was a holiday, and I was able to get to the Post Office on the morning of July 7 to mail the damaged phone to Assurant. It took approximately 3 horrible, agonizing hours over the course of 2 days, of widely differing information, from Assurant, to sort out what should have been a simple situation. Badly done - poorly executed - to further traumatize the vacationing victim of a damaged phone - it all rates a 1 or less.

Delivery was quick. Next morning phone was delivered. I just hate that they are still giving you phones that they are no longer carrying LGS phones and discontinued. Unable to upgrade to the next one. At least it's working and I am familiar with it. I was able to call back and speak to a representative that I could understand and they could understand me. I was told I would have a replacement overnighted to me once my claim was approved. They told me it usually takes 24-48 hours to receive the new phone. The reality was that it took more than 2 days just to have Assurant approve the claim, and the only reason it was approved that fast was because I called and complained. Then, after claim was approved assurant assured me that they would overnight my replacement and I would have the next day. Unfortunately because it was a Fri and assurant didn't want to spend more money than they felt they needed. The overnight actually meant Tuesday. Tuesday would mean 4 more days just for shipping. So, to recap I was told 25-48 hours to receive replacement and it was actually 6. Also to be noted it definitely would have taken longer if I hadn't pestered and complained to customer service.

My experience with my phone replacement was ok. The process was kinda long and the app and website did not update until I got my replacement. It would of been nice to know if it was pending or rejected. Also my replacement phone has cinn cation issues since day one. After not hearing anything for a little over a week I had to call them because they could not figure out to call me to verify my address then you send me a phone that kicks me offline, slow to load, slow to reboot, I feel like I'm using a dial-up modem. My experience with receiving the phone speaking to someone getting the phone I would say okay but it could be better. Someone loses the phone a phone is replaced only for you to have to pay to have it activated. Pay for the lost phone is the same as purchasing another phone at the same price. So I felt I didn't get a deal. It's not worth it but if there's any way you can better your service do so 'cause everybody works for their money. Nothing is giving free. Even at a discount we still have to pay and I still don't understand why phone I purchase less than 30 days someone else stole it that I had to pay for a phone and to reactivate the service. That is completely robbery from the company that sell anything to make money and they did just that twice.

Took a whole week to get with “overnight“ shipping. No accountability anywhere. I’m leaving T-Mobile based solely on this experience and your service. I’ve asked why, never got an answer. I had to basically FORCE T-Mobile to compensate me for this matter. Also I do not know what “Telecheck” is but I don’t know who or why they would believe I need THEIR approval to use MY money to pay a deductible. MY BANK has all the approval you need to pay, otherwise they wouldn’t approve the transaction. “Zach” told me that because telecheck doesn’t have a profile on me “ “. It would take a week to clear it and THEN a I could pay? That’s pretty bold of you guys as a company because the second I had a debit card you took it immediately.

The phone was suppose to ship next day, which would’ve been received by Friday. It didn’t ship until the day after. It was out for delivery on Saturday but UPS never delivered it. I went on vacation on July 5th which was the day Independence Day was observed. So I was away a whole week with no phone because they didn’t deliver the phone until Tuesday. Assurant did not ship UPS Next Day. They shipped it ground which is not guaranteed delivery. This process should’ve been much simpler.

When I went into Xfinity store and the sales person and I ordered my replacement phone. The Assurant associate informed me that my device would arrive within 24 to 48 hours. After 2 days and not receiving my device, I went back to the store and the sale associate told me that my claim had been approved. Therefore, we called Assurant again only to learn that my claim was still under review and would not be completed for three more days. Because I need my phone for my home based business, I had to buy a new phone and add another line to my account. I was given the website to track my claim and when I called, there was never an update in the system. It was a week before I received my phone.

Charged a restocking fee for a phone I sent back. They said the pkg was empty. So apparently they accepted an empty pkg and there's no way for me to prove it was sent. So instead of the "INSURANCE COMPANY" insuring it they are charging the consumer.

Shortly after this review I was able to confirm a tracking number on Friday, and I received the replacement phone on Monday. I was also called by a claim specialist who apologized for the delay and lack of communication and gave me his personal number to reach him if I had any other issues. Replacement phone came with new sim card making it easy to get back up and running. All the data transferred over and I am back in good shape! I appreciate Assurant's swift response to my concerns.

The claim process was incredibly easy, and the customer service team is very easy to reach either by phone or chat. They are all very polite and try to help as much as possible. However after cracking my screen 4 days ago I am now on day 4 without a working phone that I need to be able to perform my job. I received an email telling me the delivery is delayed, but I wish the company could work with local Carrier (T-Mobile) stores to leverage their inventory, so that if there is a delay they could explore other options to get a replacement sooner. The agents are unable to give me an ETA on when or what I can expect for a phone that cost over $1k and I'm about to go on a work trip without a working phone. Overall, claim process and customer service is fantastic, but their inventory and replacement process has been very frustrating.

I went to US Cellular 1st. The girl called Assurant and stuck the phone under the plexiglass for me to talk to them. The Assurant lady failed to tell me to call back when Find My Phone was disembarked. And the guy at Apple that helped me with that was nice but did not say I needed to call back so I was waiting patiently for a week & a day till I got my cell. Then I too had to set it up and I am disabled and 67yrs old. I am still trying 7-9-21 to get it all like it was. Not real happy and got locked out of my house without a cell at night. My deadbolt would not turn. Why was I not told I could have a loaner phone or hook up an old cell till mine came. I've never used insurance before and hope I do not have to again.

My screen shattered the phone itself. Lost functions on all levels. Assurant stepped in and took care of me. I got the phone within days and it was ready to go. All I had to do was switch out my SIM card.

I would recommend anyone to have Assurant phone insurance. It definitely comes in handy with any issues you may have with your phone and we all know how easy it is to put a scratch or dent on our cell phones. Assurant phone insurance gives me peace of mind that I don't have to pay for a whole new phone for minor repairs. I can't describe how horrible this experience was. My son traveled with no phone and I spent hours of my holiday weekend on the phone with Assurant and was not pleased. I'm very upset and I was literally in tears. Not good business at all.

I returned a device and was told the IME number was invalid which is incorrect. Spoke to a supervisor who said the charges would be removed then I gotta email stating charges would stick. I spent 4 hours trying to fix the issue. Employees I spoke with were rude and inconsiderate.

Claim was approved on 6/29, now it's 7/8 and still no phone, messaged customer service they push blame to delivery service. Imagine that. Horrible customer service obviously. But they won't give a discount since they can't honor their next day delivery advertisement. They can't even get a product here in a week. I pay a monthly premium with TMOBILE (which this makes your rating much lower as well) plus a 99.00 fee for a replacement device. UNREAL I have to pay full price for horrible service. This phone and account is a business account. UNREAL.

Fairly easy but what’s unclear is what is covered and what isn’t on different devices. Some other insurances associated with cell phone companies offer service that is more convenient. As well as the process of stating on one site and then being transferred to another site seems confusing as well as inconvenient.

I lost my phone. I gave a call to Assurant and they helped me get a replacement device as I had an insurance on my phone. The process is very simple. I would highly recommend everyone to get your insurance from assurant and the big thing is they do overnight shipping except the weekend so I had my phone the next day.

The entire process was very easy, quick, and seamless. I received the replacement iPhone literally 1 day after submitting my request. Amazing! The deductible was affordable and reasonable and customer service was stellar. The only thing I would say is to ask the customer if they prefer the same color phone of the damaged phone. We had a rose gold iPhone prior, but was sent a black replacement iPhone. Also, on the online form to submit a claim have two separate options for addresses. One to ship iPhone to and another For billing address. Other than that perfect!

Things went good once I filed my second claim. My original claim was closed for some reason, and there was no follow up prior to it being closed. Once I tried to file again after not hearing anything for a month, things went smoothly, and there was no issues.

I paid for a new phone and they sent me a phone with a broken battery. 85 percent life. When I asked for a replacement I have to now contact Apple. That’s not MY job. I paid for a replacement I should have a proper functioning phone.

I've had this insurance for years and never used it until recently. First claim went well, no problem. Unfortunately, Assurant sent all crap replacement phones and then denied the 3rd claim when the last one didn't charge after a month. None of the (3) replacement phones charged after about a month and they're supposed to be covered for 90 days. Each agent provides different info. An agent sent me a label and exchange form w/ Return authorization. After I sent my phone in the mail, received a denial email so I will wait a day to see what happens. Bottom line, the replacements are refurbished and only worked for a month. Better off just buying a new phone and avoiding the game this company plays. Worst experience and ripoff!!

Your staff is unprofessional, undertrained and inept. Your whole company is a joke. For three weeks I've been calling and spending a least an hour each time explaining the situation to your agents only to hung up on when they realized they didn't know how to replace a stolen device. I am still without a replacement device on a claim I filed on 5/19/2021. Why did I pay a $50 deductible for a device I never received.

My experience was enlightening. Assurant IS NOT a customer oriented insurance company and its customer support is poor at best. The company is concerned with keeping their cost as low as possible and their profit line is their number one focus. My relationship with them is with T-Mobile and I would not recommend them as an insurance carrier. If you have to do business with them good luck and don't expect a high level of attention or service.

Awesome, I can't say anything bad. Everything was fast and smooth. Cant ask for more. On a Thursday I file the claim and in a few seconds was approve. Before I realize I was getting an email from Fed Ex stating that my new cell phone was on his way and by Friday afternoon I had my new cell phone. I follow the instruction to activate the new one and get ready the old one to ship back and on Saturday I returned using a prepay Fed Ex envelope.

Absolutely HORRIBLE. Filed an insurance claim 12/15/20. Received refurbished phone THAT WAS DEFECTIVE. Multiple T-Mobile techs in store at multiple locations were unable to transfer over important text messages needed for court. Assurant said phone had a "mechanical breakdown" and advised me to have tmobile send me a replacement phone. Texts from broken phone received. In the meantime we're not able to be transferred to replacement tmobile phone until 7/4/21.
Tmobile rep at store called Assurant to explain situation and get new shipping label, advised by Assurant rep that returned phone credit would not be applied because it was past 90 days, so I would be charged $400 for the phone. Assurant rep was extremely rude and unprofessional. I asked to be transferred to a supervisor, once on the phone the supervisor rep was very rude and aggressive and hung up on tmobile rep when contact info for legal department was requested. I will never use Assurant again and will advise others not to use their services either. Worst customer service experience ever.

I called T-Mobile because I lost my phone so T-Mobile connected me to Assurant and the person got on the phone and didn’t know what was going on but the T-Mobile person told them everything that was going on. Her first words to me was “how can I help you.“ I said “didn’t the person from T-Mobile tell you everything that’s going on?“ Then I heard a click, then “welcome to assurant” from an automated system! I then was trying to process my payment and it didn’t go through for some reason, so a random person came on the phone to help me and said “welcome to assurance how may I help you“ I said “I was just trying to make a payment and it cut off and now I’m talking to you, what happened“ The person sent me back to the automated system where I then had to start all over! I am now canceling my membership with this insurance provider and I will be going to Apple Care!

I received a replacement Samsung galaxy s9 plus within 48 hours of filing my claim. That was the only positive part of this experience. The replacement phone was defective. It won't read a SIM card. I was told that a new replacement phone will not be shipped out until Fed Ex scans a label on the box containing the defective phone. So now I had to buy ink to print a label ($20), take time out of my day to go to the store to ship the phone back and I wasted the glass screen protector I placed on the defective phone ($10). In addition, it's a holiday weekend so I can't ship the defective phone out until Tuesday as I live in a rural area with no options for shipping open at this time. I won't get a new phone until midweek at the earliest making it a week and a half between filing the claim and receiving what I hope will be an acceptable replacement.

My experience was not good. I called to get my phone and I didn’t know the exact date I lost my phone. You guys did not try and help me. The date T-Mobile told me I lost my phone was wrong. When you guy looked up that date you automatically told me I can’t get a replacement because it was 4 days past 90 days. And I told you guys that I was calling and keeping T-Mobile updated and telling them the day I was going to pay for a replacement. Never once when I called and they said I was running out of time for a replacement.
They told me that’s fine. But after being on the phone for hours trying to figure it out it was nothing you can do about it. All it was one little date, you guys told me I never talked to someone when I did so basically you called me a liar. When I figured out the real date I called back and you guy shipped me a new phone with no problem. I don’t like the experience I had and at the end of it I didn’t even get an apology from anyone for you guys mistake and I was about buy a whole new phone. I wouldn’t recommend this place for anyone based on my experience.

I had to request two phones, and neither were actually sent to my home. I ended up going to the store and purchasing a $250 phone (that was not within my budget after $100 to Assurant for phones I never received. Why can't phones be delivered to my house. I tried three times to get Metro to transfer my service to the new device and activate it, but they were unable to do so apparently because I followed their instructions to the letter every time and the replacement device does not work. I cannot make calls, it doesn't even read the SIM card properly, in fact the SIM card tray doesn't even completely insert into the phone, there's a small part that protrudes out that is not supposed to be there, in fact to take it back out I don't even need a SIM tool. I have no data. No calls are able to be made and it's very very frustrating, however I did call and your customer service reps did go ahead and make things right, they should be sending out a shipping label for the replacement phone via email so a new one could be sent immediately.
If they had not done this I would have never used the service again and ensured that I got my money back whether I had to file a dispute with my credit card companies or whatever it took, luckily I don't have to do that because your customer service representatives are doing what they're supposed to be doing, so thank you for that. I am very unhappy with Metro however and I'm going to demand a free month of service due to the incompetence of their customer service Representatives.

Y’all service suck how you want someone to pay half the phone. I got a letter in the mail stating that any phone that have to be replace over a $1000 is $250 and anything under $1000 is $175 and now they telling me that every phone is $250.

My son damaged his phone at school and the operator was understanding and quick to help. They seemed to know exactly what happened. I'm guessing it happens a lot. But the process was quick and they were extremely helpful.

The damage was reported online and that was very easy to do. The new phone was delivered in 2 days - very impressive. The return instructions were easy and convenient with the return envelope. Excellent service all around - the whole process was great!! Thank you.

I broke my watch Samsung Galaxy 3, I made a Claim to get a new one. Y'all accepted it but sent me the wrong watch twice, I sent them back and now Y'all haven't sent me the right one yet I called 3 times to get a replacement and I'm getting the run around. Very unprofessional when y'all have my money...

After a series of unfortunate events (beginning with my phone being destroyed) Mari called to see why or if I was unsatisfied. She was very patient, thorough, and treated me with respect. Then instead of just hearing me vent, she took action. There had been some mixup with my replacement phone and she more than remedied the situation. She is a superstar! ASSURANT has helped me with more than one claim. All previous claims went without a hitch. This time just had some hiccups but they ended up smelling like roses in the end. Thank you Mari and Assurant. It may have taken a little rocky road to get here but you have not only kept a client but I will continue to refer you to others.

I did an insurance claim on my Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G. I was sent a Note 10 Plus as a replacement. The Note 10 plus is a $300 phone. If you can even find it anymore. The s20 Ultra is a $1500 phone. Called and had to get get a manager as the csr would not listen and insisted they were of the same caliber. EVEN AFTER SPEAKING THE T-MOBILE REP. They most certainly are not. Not even in the same ball park. Sent phone back and even when I asked for expedited return shipping it was denied. I never ok'd the ** replacement. Supervisor was even worse. It was not until I cancelled the claim I got a call from someone with actual customer service experience who also understood a little bit about technology.
If you are going to cover tech, know a little tech please. Filing a claim on a Maserati and receiving a Yugo is just ridiculous. Not to mention then forcing your customer to go over 2 weeks without communication because of your error is just unacceptable as well. I pay every month for coverage that is supposed to cover my device. Not rob my pocket. Again, I was forced to upgrade to a phone I did not want in order to get back in communication. I've had to claim a phone before and you guys have always been spot on but this time you really dropped the ball and in a fantastic way.

Very understanding regarding the claim, paid the deductible and the phone arrived right away. Especially since the incident happened within 2 weeks from purchase. Great idea to have the insurance for your protection.
