Communication was almost non-existent and then instead of a comparable LG phone, I get sent a pos Samsung phone. I hate Samsung, which is why I didn't have one. I will definitely be switching to another carrier that doesn't use Assurant. I only gave them one star because zero isn't an option.

The claim was placed online and it took longer than expected to be approved. But once I was able to chat with a representative it took just a few minutes for him to get it approved and processed. The device was delivered next day without any issues.

Assurant sent me a new Samsung Galaxy Note 9 just like my original that had a swollen battery. In installing a new screen protector I noticed that the phone case was being pushed apart. Back on track.

Very slow…I had to contact them with ID information and then they processed for 5 days longer and no action on claim. Posted on social media and THEN got a response. I shouldn’t have to wait two weeks for a replacement phone. I deleted info as I was put out with my experience so no order number.

I was directed to place a claim for a broken phone. I put in the request which was very easy to do. I wasn't able to pick the replacement. I received the phone with no problem. The sim card on the new phone does not have enough space for my information to transfer from the old phone. I have to purchase a bigger SIM card. It seems the new phone is doing the Same thing as the old one. I will be talking and all the sudden I cannot hear the other person.

If I lose an iPhone 8 and it’s my first claim ever after paying hundreds if not thousands in insurance premiums throughout the years, why would I have to pay $99 deductible when the replacement phone, iPhone 8, has a trade in value of $80. That makes no sense!

The refurb device’s back camera did not work even after over the phone's support. T-Mobile attempted to charge for another refurb device shipped to a T-Mobile store. Store reps were dismissive of my situation and I had to call T-Mobile customer service while in the store for fee adjustment on my bill to cover the $5 fee I had to pay in store. Assurant protection does not seem worth the monthly fee.

#1) It should not take 10 business days to refund money; A small business nor a bank doesn't even take that long. #2) A shipping label shouldn’t take 24 hours to be available to print. My 10 business days should’ve started as soon as I cancelled my order but instead I had to wait! #3) Your website is no help. Online services suck! #4) I am unsatisfied.

Broken glass on phone. The phone fell on the pavement and I needed a replacement. The Customer Service Rep was very patient, knowledgeable, and helpful. She stayed with me on the phone while I did my claim online and walked me through the process.

I filed a claim with this company on July 19. On the 27th I returned my damage phone as they said tracking needed to show it was in transit no later than July 30th. Some time in August I received a letter stating I hadn’t returned the device and could be charged a fee. I immediately called and spoke to a rep whom confirmed they had received my package but had yet to be received by the warehouse. Now I have been billed a $300 fee for non return and my claim for a refund was denied, although I provided them with tracking and it shows delivered. This is extremely unprofessional as it is not my fault their warehouse lost a package that was returned in the envelope provided by them as well.

When I took my replacement phone to the T-Mobile store to get help with the transition to the new phone, it was discovered that there is nothing wrong with my old phone. I asked for and received authorization to be reimbursed. It has now been 12 days since I was told my refund was approved and I still have not received my income. When I called today, I was told it was refunded to the bank. I don't know whose bank account you sent it to or whose check card but it wasn't mine!!!! I don't have enough money in my account ever to overlook a deposit of $249.00. I hope you can do something about this before I contact my lawyer. As for service and dealing with Assurant, I give you NO stars!!! Oh this is really rich. I can't even submit this complaint without giving you one star. You don't even deserve that!!!!

I I'm very dissatisfied with my phone replacement. You guys sent me a 10 when I had a 12. Tell me you did not have it in stock. For 20 minutes I had T-Mobile call with me on the line and in 24 hours I had my 12 replaced. Very poor service. I do not appreciate dishonesty.

The process was easy and effortless and they were quick to respond. My issue was with getting a refurbished phone for the replacement. I have had insurance on my phones for over 13 years and this is the first time I have ever had to get a replacement. I think I should have been deserving of a new phone or at least an upgrade. The real killer was when I complained I asked for a manager and she contacted T-Mobile passed me off and jumped off the line.... EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED ABOUT THAT! Now I have to worry about if I will have to deal with someone else's issues.

All 3 salespersons were so helpful and went above and beyond to help my wife and I set up our new phones. Their names are Lorraine, she helped us the most, with transferring our phones contacts and photos to new phones. Also Chris helped with our Netflix and password, and Cynthia, was also a great help. I filed my claim for a phone lost in saltwater and it was received shortly thereafter. My hardest effort was getting the right form and website. When I called most of the difficult parts were made clearer.

I placed a call on Sunday that I broke my phone and Monday was a holiday so I already knew it would be delayed by another day, and I still did not receive my replacement phone until the following Monday.... total of 8 days is too long to be without a phone and was never told about the delay. I had to keep calling to see what the problem was. Very frustrating week.

So I get the phone like 1 day but I love to say two days. But anyway get the phone sim card boom phone doesn't work. Hairline scratches on the phone on the top right but I can live with that. But I couldn't get this device to work so I went into a store and was charged 23.07 to activate I believe the phone like why? Why that's not a part of the deductible then. Any other carrier you deductible boom phone is working and if so fee is waived.

I was very happy from the very beginning of this process that's getting my phone replaced because of a cracked screen on my phone. Each person I spoke with during the phone calls I was treated very well with the knowledge Assurant Associates. From the time of my first call to the time that I received my phone and there were a few more calls I made to Assurant and there was not one time I did not get things resolved. I wish all companies in this world add to knowledge to treat people with courtesy and respect that was given not only buy one but by all I spoke with.
I think T-Mobile done very well by using their services. There were a few things I cannot figure out on my phone when I first got it and they resolved that issue right off the bat. I went to a T-Mobile representative at one of the local stores here in Florida and neither one of the associates there have ever seen the phone that I had and didn't know anything about it, so at that time I told them I would just get in touch with Assurant and maybe they could learn something from them while I was there and lo and behold they were very impressed as well with the service call and resolved issues that I cannot figure out myself. Assurant spokesperson at that time really impressed them well they listened in.

I did not have to wait long. For phone to arrive in the mail phone did not come with a user guide and the phone did not come with a charger. I received a phone that is no longer in circulation so it's hard to get accessories for it.

Sent me a phone from a different carrier. Spent 2 hours in a T-Mobile store on the day my grandfather passed trying to get my phone to work and the rep on the phone wanted me to send back my phone. Wait another 3 days for you guys to send me another one. I had to buy a new phone.

I was extremely concerned when my new phone was not received the next day as was told to me by the store rep. I was hospitalized and I didn’t have access to my friends and family because all my numbers are stored in my phone.

The claims process was very smooth and completed in a timely manner. I truly appreciated this. The phone arrived the next day and looked/worked perfectly. Although I think the charge that they would charge if the damaged/device is extremely high (over the top), I understand that they are trying to incentivize insurers to return the device, but the amount seems to be a bit much.

My iPhone was (is currently) having issues so having insurance on my account, I decided to file a claim. I called the T Mobile customer service line and after a series of questions, I was told that my problem was with the manufacturer. Therefore, I had to make a different type of claim where there was no deductible. Great! I went ahead and filled out their request and was told that the phone should arrive at the T Mobile store in X amount of days. I get a call from the T Mobile store (the location I chose) near me saying that the phone is here but it’s not ready to be picked up...and that I had to wait. No big deal. I came back after that weekend and after removing my screen protector, I was told that since my phone had a minor hairline crack on the very top of the phone, I must go through my insurance. Very annoyed but that’s policy so there’s nothing I can do about it. I gathered my belongings and went about my day.
I called Assurant and filed a claim as directed to do so. I was a happy guy because I knew a working phone was on its way to me. A week goes by and still no phone. I call to see what’s going on and I was told that the shipping address provided is one wrong...now I understand if the house number is incorrect or off by a digit or two but no. This was not the case. The address provided to me by the gentleman on the phone was a whole different address in a whole different neighborhood. I instantly got frustrated. I ask the gentleman on the phone that should this raise a red flag because surely my billing address doesn’t match what you gave me or else the payment wouldn’t of went through. The gentleman on the phone states me that the random address given to me is the same as the billing address.
On September 7th I was charged the deductible of $99 dollars on my account. How can this transaction go through if the billing address I was provided doesn’t remotely match my actual billing address? Secondly, I got an email shortly after our phone call saying the order was cancel. Lastly, I have yet received a reimbursement for my deductible which was taken from my account without having the proper billing information. Here I am still with a broken phone but yet I’ve been paying for insurance the entirety of owning this phone. I am highly upset with this process and if I could give this experience a zero star I would.

I have a Pixel 3A. I Was paying $13 extra for phone insurance through TMobile. I had the phone for 2 years which means I paid a total of $312 for insurance. Well, last week, my phone fell and the screen crack. No worries, I have insurance. Filed a claim and to my surprise, they charged me a $99 deductible. Which means with the deductible charge and the amount paid for insurance for two years, that's a total of $412... I paid $399 for the phone when bought new. Soooo pretty much I paid for the phone twice. Planning on upgrading my phone with another pixel. This time I'll just order direct through Google and purchase their protection plan for $99 for 2 years.

Thank you for honoring the contract, and for the replacement phone. Customer service answered the phone. Rare in today's world. The rep said he would take care of it and he did. Had some issues on website but again a call to customer service resolved the issues.

Got my replacement. As soon as I made the first call the person on the other end could not hear me. They said it sounded like I was underwater. When I called TMOBILE even the rep couldn't hear what I was saying. TMOBILE warrantied out my replacement but still had to transfer everything and log in to everything on my phone for the second time in 1 week. Very inconvenient. Paid my deductible so I should've gotten a working phone.

I pay my insurance premiums faithfully yet when it came time to pay my deductible and use my insurance policy to replace my grandson's phone I had to wait until the insurance company took 3-5 days to review and audit my claim before they would just take my deductible and ship the replacement. Now if I pay premiums for insurance to replace a defective or broken device and then have to also pay a deductible as well I should be made to jump through hoops and wait to get my replacement device shipped.

Was glad for the days it took to switch out phones. I hate having to remember passwords, and I am still trying to get certain things up and running. Thank goodness for Smart Switch. Had to find a store to get the switch started, and it went quickly. Now to finish cleaning data off of old phone and mail it in!!!

First off the customer service reps were fantastic. The problem was with the approval center. It took me over 3 or 4 submissions and denials. Each denial was basically a ** answer. Which after the last confirmed denial one of the customer service reps looked further into; Lo and behold it had everything they needed. The frustrating part is it took numerous phone calls and resubmissions to be approved. We pay good money for this insurance along with a decent deductible for anyone to have to put that much effort into getting the product they pay for. The approval team needs to take some time and look into why they are actually denying. Rest assured I will be cancelling my insurance through this company as it was complete negligence on their end for the denials (which wasted my valuable time along with disrupting our work flow).

After claim was filed, we checked on the claim's status, not receiving a straight answer. Several weeks later we get a e-mail that claim was closed due to inactivity. It took another checkup to get claim reinstated, eventually claim was approved and replacement phone received about a week or so later.

I carry my nephew and his wife on my account, and both have insurance and the Jump upgrade option. My niece dropped her phone and broke the screen. I initiated the claim on 09/04/21, and the phone shipped on 09/07 (Labor Day), and I received on the 8th. We weren't able to transfer her phone until 9/11, but it went well. The OnePlus Clone Phone worked flawlessly, except for transfer of 11,000 photos!!! She backed them up to the cloud, factory reset and removed the SIM card, and we returned it yesterday.

I called Assurant, described the situation, paid the deductible, and received a new identical phone within 2 days. I wish Spectrum had the same quality of customer service as Assurant. Replacing the phone was very easy, yet activating it with Spectrum was like running through a minefield.

What I didn’t not understand is why would have to call you guys and basically do your job. I got charged for a phone that I returned months ago. So I call and I was told that the box came empty and that I would still be responsible. How? And After asking to speak to a supervisor I have placed on hold for over an hour and no one ever came back to the phone. I would rate you guys as a -10.

"THIS IS THE SECOND TIME in my being requested to rate my experience with this company....once should have been enough. This company has became an annoyance in the quality of service that is given and the ensuing opinion requests".... I carried the insurance for more than a year, the phone was little more than a year old and it could no longer send pictures. I went to the store and they advise me to get another phone. They gave me the information in regard to the source to contact to get the phone replaced. This was done. The replacement was approved but they still inquired about the date of purchase. I had informed them from the outset that I had no idea. Remembering the date of purchase of a phone was low priority. I had many other dates and times to be concerned with. I had paid the insurance it had been approved and the $50.. deductible had been withdrawn from my CC and their quibbling over the date of purchase was petty...
If it were so important the phone replacement should not have been approved and the deductible should not have been removed from my CC. My phone replacement was upheld until I provided the date of purchase. I had to go back to the store where I purchased the phone and where I reported the defect in the phone to find out what the purchase date was. I called the insurance replacement service and gave them this date and the replacement procedure continued.. Now being that I purchased the phone at that store, reported the defect to that store, had to back to that store to get the purchase date, the complete insurance transaction should have taken place at this store.

I would expect that in the state of an emergency, my insurance company would help me. I requested a new phone because of damage. I was shipped the new phone with the clear expectation to send my damaged phone back. During the time I needed to ship the damaged phone, I was evacuated from my house due to a wildfire that was threatening my city. My broken phone had been misplaced and I could not sent it back. I was told that in order to not be charged for not returning my damaged phone, I would need to send the new phone back, wait 10 days, and make a new claim.
You can probably understand that being phone-less for 10 days while being evacuated from a wildfire is a major inconvenience for several reasons. I needed to stay up to date with fire updates to stay safe, be notified if I could return home, and be notified if my house had burned down. This was an emergency and your company did nothing to help me out. Will be cancelling this service.

Overall awful experience, they have a 2 minute automated message as soon as you call, discouraging to set the claim via phone and do it online, if you hang on the call through the 2 minutes they pick up instantly, the company and just and always been dishonest. A 24 hour claim took nearly a week, poor communications. The reps are rude and entitled. It's just an overall awful experience.

UPS left an open empty bag in front of my door. If there was a new phone in it I do not know who took it. I had to go to MetroPCS and show them the open empty bag. They contacted the insurance company and said that they will send another phone. I am still waiting for another phone to be shipped. I told the metropcs employee to tell the company to tell UPS to not leave the next phone on the front door but to give it to me and they said that I have to talk to UPS to tell them that. I went to UPS to tell them that and they said that they are a franchised and have no control on how the drivers drop packages and that I should talk to metropcs about it and tell them to tell the insurance to request a signature when the new phone is delivered next time.

Assurant should get negative stars. We needed to file a claim when my wife broke her phone. Everything went relatively smoothly up until... We got the new phone. I boxed up the old phone and shipped it back with Assurant's prepaid label. I tracked the shipment back until it was reported delivered. Then I started getting letters from Assurant telling me to ship the phone back or I would get charged.
After the second letter, called Assurant. The lady I spoke with said the phone was located and not to worry. Then I got my next T-Mobile bill with a charge for the phone on it. I called T-Mobile. After a long call and a transfer to Assurant, I was told I would not be charged. And I wasn't. But another month goes by. The charge is on my T-Mobile bill again and has been processed and on my charge card. So I contact T-Mobile again. She helps me contact Assurant. The lady at Assurant again verifies my phone was received. But, now, I have to wait two billing cycles to get a refund. At this point, I consider the issue unresolved until I see the credit on my card. Totally unacceptable.

I tried using Assurant to replace my daughter's phone that was dropped in a river. Got the phone in 5 days, but the touch screen did not work. Twice called Assurant and was told that it was an issue that Apple had to repair and there was nothing they could do. All they did was connect me to Apple. I asked for a refund of my deductible and would mail the phone back, but they refused.
Contacted Apple and eventually went through provider (Xfinity) and got the phone to Apple, only to be told that the parts inside the device were not Apple parts and it couldn't be fixed. On the third try with Assurant, they offered to bring it in to fix (completely opposite of what the first two agents told me). I would rather throw this phone in the river. Never, ever, ever, would I use Assurant again and will be letting Xfinity know as well that they should change companies.

My phone was broken and started overheating. I had purchased an insurance plan since I bought the phone. The claim process was smooth and they honored my claim. Now, I'm writing this review through the screen of my new phone. I received the phone about 3 days after I placed the claim and simply packaged the old one and sent it back in their prepaid mailing envelope. So my son's phone broke and it took a week if you get the email so I can go into the store to pay and then once he got his phone it does not work. He can't call, he can't text. I've been into the store multiple times. They can't fix it. The one manager told me he would get me a replacement phone and that he would call me back the next day. I still haven't heard back from him. The whole thing is very frustrating. I've been a customer long time and my son's been without a phone for well over a month and I paid for his service and he can't use this phone.

The only problem I had was with FedEx. The driver reported that my address was wrong. As a result the 1st claim had to be canceled and I then had to refill. I paid an additional $30 for next day delivery but did not receive shipment for approximately 4-5 days.

The service I got from Assurant was simple and fast. I got my phone replaced in a minimal amount of time. Thank you. My Samsung S10+ was replaced with the same model in fine condition. The only thing that concerns me now is that there are no protective covers or screen protectors still on the market for this phone. I am still looking. I would hate to have to run another claim because I can't get a screen protector.

My only concern is that their website states we can turn in the damaged phones at a T-Mobile store. And because of my busy schedule during the week, I thought this to be most convenient for me. At my very first availability, I went to a T-Mobile store to return the phone but was denied. As a suggestion to prevent further confusion, I did reach out to customer service both over the phone and via email and while they were nice, they seemed to disregard my concern about not being able to return damaged phones to T-Mobile even though the website says it’s an option. Otherwise, fast and convenient service.

The process was horrible. I had put in claim on july 22. It was approved Sept 1. The headache I went through to get a refurbished phone was not worth it. I had to send copy of license then had to send a copy of form to authenticate license. Then I had to send pic of license again.

Refused to unblock my phone after replacement phone was returned. No one would help, have elderly parents. Didn't have a phone for almost 3 days. Lost phone, filed a claim, phone was found, canceled claim. Assurant refused to unblock my phone. A rep at Tmobile was the only one who helped me. Was treated very badly by assurant. People need to be informed if they get this insurance that assurant has the power to block and phone and basically hold them hostage.

Filed a claim for my husband’s phone on Tuesday Aug 31, 2021 and was told by rep that if I pay before 8:30PM that day that it will be processed and shipped overnight that same day; otherwise, it will processed the next day. I called 2 days after (Sept 2, 2021), why replacement phone hasn’t arrived yet, only to find out that Assurant hasn’t started to process my claim yet. Assurant has all the information they need like name, shipping address, card to get payment, etc. It literally took 1 week to get the replacement phone. If I didn’t call 2 days after Aug 31, 2021, they would not have processed my claim and it would have taken longer.

Your speed of replacement was amazing..,less than 24 hours. My only dissatisfaction is with the sticker you placed on the back of the replacement. Even with Goo Gone it was extremely difficult to clean off. I am still copying some data off my old phone because all the photos attached to texts did not transfer over. I will send it in the envelope and make sure it is scanned on Monday September 13. Thank you.

I received the phone promptly but the speaker in the ear position doesn't work properly. The voices are weak and scratchy. I had to go out of state and try to depend on a broken phone to conduct business. Quality control missed the mark somewhere along the line. This phone is not worth $175.00.

Total experience was fast and complete. I received a replacement within 48 hours and sought the help of T-Mobile have the device set up to use. The device was working OK for several days and at this time I am locked out of the device and trying to get it reactivated by Apple.

I dropped my phone, cracked the screen even with the glass protector and case on it. I pay for insurance monthly, I think that the $99 I was charged is too much. The screen still worked. I think $50 would of been a better price.

Customer service needs retraining. First I filed a screen replacement then I couldn't get around to taking my phone to cpr phone repair so I call Assurant to see if my claim is still open. Everything was still good to go. Then I ask am about the screen replacement and you guys said you don't do that? But you guys offer it when we do our claim online. So you guys said you would replace my phone and it's in the mail." Now the next day CPR phone repair calls me saying they got my claim and when do I want to bring in phone"? I was confused. I just got my screen replaced and assurant charged my card twice! For $99.00! My bank is still trying to get it back.

The phone that I received is not a compatible device to the last one that I had. Is actually a downgrade not an upgrade or it's not equal to what I already had and then it is a little crack that's going across the screen that is on the phone. I have been trying to get in contact with someone in regards to this. I have multiple times in regards of the device not been to correct device and what's going on with all these issues. Every time I call I get hung up on and no one never calls back.

Denied claims should be emailed with reason. Called and a representative got the claim corrected and later approved. Assurant rep was professional and willing to fix the problem. The replacement phone arrived quickly. Took it to local Verizon store and had info transferred. Boxed up damaged phone and mailed out without fuss. Instructions very easy to follow for return of phone.

Went to my local carrier T-mobile to file lost phone claim. They referred me to Assurant website which was down, asked for their assistance which they obliged. Using their store #, employee id.# etc. Over the next hour I watched several connections with Assurant get redirected and dropped just to have store manager say, "I can't do anything for you." Went to another t- mobile location where an associate spent over an hour to file my claim. I received my replacement phone almost a week later. Assurant like so many others focus on value rather than quality because there will always be someone else to fill my spot as a customer. Please don't respond if all you have is some generic meaningless apology.

I enjoyed overall the experience. The claim process was extremely fast and easy and also for my device within 24 hours. I wasn’t a big fan of the actual replacement. I figured paying $12 monthly I’d receive a new phone but it was a refurbished device. Haven’t had issues with it yet and hope not to have any.

My replacement phone was delivered without a SIM card. The SIM card was supposed to be delivered in 1-3 days. I was just informed that after 4 business days, I cannot track the delivery of my SIM card for another few days and there is no ETA for the delivery.

I recently had to replace my Samsung Galaxy S9 due to a broken screen. I went through the process online but had an issue when it came to the payment and the payment wouldn't process. I called the customer service number and was promptly assisted by a helpful employee. Then, when I received my replacement I had a question about the packages and labels that were sent to me. I called to make sure I was sending the correct thing. ***One thing I would mention is that I was surprised that I was asked to place my device in a very small cardboard envelope. I didn't feel comfortable just putting the device in there so I added thin bubble wrap around my device.
I also was confused about the return labels. I received the cardboard envelope that already had a shipping label - for USPS - but there was also a separate sheet with a FedEx label on it. I couldn't tell from the instructions which one I was supposed to use. Initially, I thought maybe I was supposed to remove the SIM card from my old device and send that in the cardboard envelope (because it was such a small envelope) and then use the FedEx label to return my device. You may want to edit the return instructions to indicate that the FedEx label is only to be used in case the replacement device is defective. I didn't see that mentioned in the instructions, but I may have just missed it somehow. Overall, a very quick and easy transaction. Much appreciated!

I’m very disappointed…I have lost my phone on Tuesday morning. Instead of having my replacement the next day The gentleman shipped my phone via UPS ground in instead of next day air…as I explained it to the customer service that I need the phone before I leave the following Sunday for my trip overseas…12 days after and still no phone… I am stranded with no phone trying to communicate with overseas phone calls to UPS as I fail to delivered my phone for 3 consecutive times… and it was send under my ex-wife‘s name instead of mine…. The T-Mobile account is under my name and the replacement is under my name…. As soon as I return back to the United States I will discontinue my services with Assurant that is overpriced… and I will go with AppleCare+…. I pay $20 a month when I get paid $7.99 for better service… Apple offers same day pick up from their stores…. I will not recommend your services anymore.

It was a pain to get the item replaced, and when I did, it came cracked and then the next day, refused to turn on. So I put a screen protector over the old one and used that. The first girl I talked to made it seem like a chore to talk to me. The 2nd one that did the refund not as bad- she was actually pretty nice. But the whole process is stupid.

Incorrectly rejected my claim at first, even when T-Mobile had them on the phone and said it was valid. Then sent the WRONG phone, a downgraded model. Said I needed to show proof, which I did. Then they said they MEANT to send the wrong one!

I've been a customer with T-Mobile for more than 5 years and I recently lost my iPhone, which was insured through Assurant. My experience with them has been the worse! I lost my phone while traveling and was promised by a representative to have it delivered three days after the incident (due to Labor Day), the same day I was leaving town. However, my replacement device did not arrive on time before I had to go back where I currently reside due to school. They did not offered anything to help and continuously blamed UPS for the delay of the package. After 3 days without any way of communication, I had to travel without a phone. Can you imagine something like this in today's world? They showed no sympathy for any of this.
I'm currently still waiting for my phone since I had to come back to where I reside because since the device is now on the way to be delivered, they would need to wait for that one to be returned to then send me a new one to where I am. This is my experience with Assurant after 5 years of paying for an insurance I've never used in the past and after paying my deductible!! It's disrespectful to deliver such a terrible customer service to consumers that have been paying for a service long before they ever needed it. It's important to understand that people have every day necessities and responsibilities that need to be fulfilled and many of them involve having a way of communication. I do not recommend Assurant for any type of coverage.

I filed a warranty claim for my Samsung Galaxy 7. Very quickly I received notice that the claim was approved and that I would be receiving a Galaxy 10 as a replacement. I received my new phone the next day, was able to transfer contacts, photos etc. to my new phone wirelessly, inserted the new sim card and was up and running within a half hour. Thank you Assurant, the process was seamless!!

Online claim initiated Aug 12, 2021. I had to contact Assurant via chat not once, not twice, but three times about my claim for a lost phone. Each time there was problem with my ID and Assurant DID NOT notify me, It took over 3 weeks to get my replacement phone. I did notify TMobile on this matter.

My wife lost her phone in the ocean on vacation and was heartbroken. I immediately contacted T Mobile and then filled out the online claim with Assurant. Within minutes my claim was approved, I paid the deductible and and that was it. I had a new phone at our vacation home in about 24 hours. Yes they delivered it to where we were on vacation. This was the worse experience that I have encountered to this point. Passed around from person to person. Had to call back as one of your reps hung up on us (me and the T-Mobile rep). It took 1.5 hours on the phone to get my claim process. Basically came down to the incorrect product selection. Wrong on so many levels.

I received a refurbish phone. When I received it phone worked for a couple of hrs which I called Assurant to inform them the problem. I was getting the run around and I had to take a day off work to go into the Apple store because the phone you guys sent me. The phone was not working. The sim was not picking up the cellular data. I think Assurant was no unprofessional because they could do anything for me. I would not be working with this insurance anymore.

I paid for my replacement device which your company said was sent out. I never received a new device so I called your company back and was advised they it could take 3 to 5 days for my phone to be shipped but after the 3 to 5 day timeframe I was told that it would take another 3-5 days? Which is ridiculous so I asked for a refund and was told that couldn’t be done either. I feel like I was just robbed by your company. I will never recommend using your company to anyone I know and will tell anyone that asks what a horrible experience I’ve had with Assurant!!

The company turned my phone off instead of my sons. Then won’t just make an even exchange. I had to be with my own phone because they turned off the wrong account and couldn’t get it back on for two days. Then I am still waiting for my credit and the phone. It’s been over two weeks!!!! I placed a claim for a new device and first I wasn't aware I needed to send a picture of a photo ID so 2 days later a worker at the metro store informed me, 3-4 days went by and I still didn't receive my new device. Apparently I was not informed about the fact that it couldn't be shipped to my P.O. Box. Why I was able to submit that for an address I'm not sure then 2 more days went by before a worker called me stating my payment didn't go through when it said it had. Finally 2 days after that I received my new device and it was not the correct one. Now I need to make another claim due to glitches and the battery not charging. I'm so dissatisfied. My work didn't get done correctly and I'm extremely unhappy with the fact I must deal with this all over again!

I was told the phone to be replaced with a brand new phone. Not only is it refurbished but it also has a dent in it. Where is the customer service here? I find it very unsatisfactory to be left on hold and wait for callbacks and the agent helping you is just reading from a script telling you thank you for your patience. What patience? I gave 1 star because zero is not an option. They took 10 days to get me a phone that is supposed to be an overnight service. You get transferred to another country and they do not use logic or critical thinking, instead they work like broken English robots who read off of a scripted question and answer sheet. Don't even waste your time trying to talk to a manager because the service is even worse. Their picture upload system, which is required, allows less mb than it takes to provide a crystal clear picture taken from your phone. They use this to delay the shipping. One thing they are on time for is charging the monthly fee. There are no issues there.

Horrible service, my claim was denied because of misinformation on the representative end. She wasn't helpful at all and just kept saying she couldn't do anything because the information didn't match. Asked to speak to her supervisor, who promptly recognized their mistake and offered to ship my device next day... I had waited 3 days already at this point.

The only issue I had was I missed a step in filing a claim and I was not notified that I missed something until I investigate the delay in processing. Maybe a trigger message letting a person know they missed a step would help. Other than that, Outstanding job.

I filed a claim for my broken Apple Watch and received a defective replacement. The watch would not pair with my iPhone so I took it into apple and was told it was defective. Bad hardware and/or software was the cause. Once I called Assurant. Was told that I had to pay for a box to send it back and and was hung up on when I asked to speak to a manager. Had to go to T-Mobile to get them to provide packaging to send the defective watch back. Also had to call to get them to resend another watch which was horrible considering I’ve paid for my replacement and sent them their device back.

On August 29 2021 I filed a claim due to an accidental damage to my phone in the screen, it was approved and I paid the fee accordingly and I was notified that my replacement was to be delivered on Monday August 30 2021, THAT DID NOT HAPPENED!!! After a lot of calls to T-Mobile and Assurant my phone was delivered on Friday September 3 2021, a total disaster to say the least, understanding that this is the main line for my business WILLIAM ELIAS INC. there was a lot of money missing due to the lack of my phone able to work properly because of the damage! And mostly for the delay on the delivery moreover.

After my wife dropped her device and cracked the screen, we made an insurance claim. It took 3 days and 2 phone calls before my new phone was finally shipped. Once I got the "refurbished" device it didn't charge and was lagging significantly. I contacted the insurance and was told I would get a FedEx label to ship it back and once I had the receipt from FedEx I could get another phone sent to me. I got a USPS label and sent the device back 5 days ago. Still have not seen a new phone. My wife has been without a phone for over 2 weeks. In this day in age we all know how important it is to have a way of communication, especially with young children in school. I had to break down and go start a new line of service with a new number so my wife can have a phone on top of paying my deductible. If I would of known I was going to have to buy a new device anyway, I wouldn't of paid for insurance or paid a deductible. I am so disappointed with you Assurant!

My S20+ 5G accidentally felled from my pocket from about a six-foot distance to the ground on a concrete platform. It was protected by an Otter Box cover; however, the screen didn’t survive. The left edges were cracked and the remainder of the screen spiderweb. I went to T-Mobile and was given a flyer to file an online claim. The flow was flawless, I was approved, and got my replacement phone the next day. My only “hiccup” was having to transfer data to the new phone. Took me a couple of times. And I feel that the local T-Mobile center should have been able to accomplish this task. I mean, that should be one of the reasons for the insurance. Although the service was great, I would have preferred having just the screen replace and not having to go through to process of having to personalize my phone again. All and all … Given that, the service was great.

The process started when I visited a Fontana T-Mobile store to possibly replace my phone which has been malfunctioning for a few days. They told me that as part of the insurance they will gladly assist me when I get the new phone which came just a few days later in the mail. The replacement device that I received touchpad does not always work. I use Touch ID to go into my account and I have to wait an hour or more to access my account on this phone. The phone I was sent has been having issues from the time I got it; it reboots whenever and out of the blue, locks up, and will not function at times. I would like a call at ** to get these issues resolved ASAP.

I made a claim. Received my new phone. Forgot to send the broken one. 3 months later got charged 570 for it. I then send it and call Assurant to notify that I send it. This customer service guy tell me that because I send it after 90 days I still gonna get charge the 570 bucks because is policy. This is the pure example of racketeering insurance companies. After they being bleeding you out for months with a payment they find legal ways to keep putting their hands in your pocket. Never in my life I'm making business with them because at the end I pay the phone again anyway so what's the point of having them?

I lost my phone at the beginning of July, I finally got my replacement at the end of August! In between those two periods I was getting a constant run around and ** excuses from different Assurant representatives. It was not in error that in my contact log I capitalized the first three letters of your company’s name.

Terrible experience. I even spoke with the supervisor. No one knows what they are doing. They sent out an item after I canceled it 5 minutes later. Tmobile gave me the wrong Mei number. They sent the item anyway after I canceled then when I ask for a return label they told me to just take the item to ups. Only to leave work early and I was given the wrong information. Time after time I was given the wrong information. I am so disappointed after 10 calls they still couldn't get things corrected not even the supervisor.

My phone was completely messed up and I went online in the night and made a claim and by the next morning my phone was already here. They also made it extremely easy to return the old phone. I just put it In the premade and pre labeled package and took it to my local post office and just handed it in was super fast and simple. Amazing experience.

I would give 5 stars ⭐️ but UPS failed to deliver on date promised. I waited all day and nothing, they finally sent a message around 10 pm. I was supposed to go out of town that day, so I waited and nothing. Finally got the package until Monday the 31st. Assurant did their part and I’m happy with their help.

Phone stopped charging. If anyway to retrieve pictures and notes please assist. It took almost 4 days after claim was initiated to receive phone. No one contacted me to inform me that the claim payment didn't submit.

I filed a claim last Wednesday night because I dropped my phone earlier in the day and cracked the screen. Before I got home from work the very next day, my new phone had already been delivered! I had filed a claim for a replacement device with spectrum mobile. My claim was quickly accepted and I received my replacement device very quickly. But after charging it and inserting my old Sim card like instructed my device said it was locked. Called customer service and was told to try the Sim card sent with device. But still got the same locked message. I was sent a device that was locked to a different carrier. Now I have to return this replacement device before they will send me another device.

Service was unexpectable. Took a month and a half to get new phone. l am done after this! I was told l was upgraded to another phone. That was a lie. It seemed like no one knew what they were talking about. I'm done.
