It would help if you included the replacement sim cards with the device in the mail instead of charging people 25 dollars to get one that's used from someone else's old device that got left behind and if you could make it possible for the customers to activate their replacement handset devices by themselves instead of having to travel to their nearest metro by T-Mobile stores to do so because many people are not able to make it to the store for them to replace or reactivate their devices.

All the customer service was wonderful and it was easy to go to this website and fill out my claim. It was very self service explanatory. It showed the steps by steps without me needing to call for help. I would definitely refer someone to Spectrum Mobile because their good customer service.

I filed a claim to have my Pixel 8 Pro phone repaired. It was simple and quick. I use a lot of "21th century software" and this works as expected, much better than other sites I have used. I would surely recommend this product. I am glad I purchased my Google Pixel 8 Pro and the Pixel 2 Watch. Both have exceeded my expectations.

I just have two things to say about my experience with Assurant. 1.) The return process seems easy. All you have to do is stick the phone in the envelope that's provided and sticking in the mailbox. Well that's all well and good but if the mail carrier doesn't scan the envelope then myself as the customer gets screwed and has to pay for the device because there's no tracking information provided showing that I sent in the device. I feel like you guys should be using a hand to hand system where I hand the device to a FedEx worker or UPS worker whereas the USPS has not been very reputable lately in our area.
2.) When sending out a new device maybe double check it all facets of the device because when I had my phone on speaker phone I realized that my speaker is blown. When somebody is talking on it it crackles really loud and it makes it unbearable to listen to. I am hard of hearing and I could hear this clear as day. It's very unpleasant and I'm really upset that I paid for this granted it was only a deductible but I still had to pay for this and that's why I have insurance. I'm not very happy with the service I received from Assurant.

A few months ago I was trying to make a claim for my Samsung phone. When I contacted Assurant I was speaking to a foreign person who was hard to understand and they wouldn't speak up. First they wanted to know how long I have been a Metro customer, I said I don't know but a long time. They then ask me how much memory was on my phone. I said IDK 32 or 64mb. The screen was broken I could tell. I was told to call Metro to get that information. I did that then I called back but during that time I got an email stating my claim was denied because the IMEI number didn't match the phone I was using. So when I called back and explained I wasn't calling on the broken phone but I put the SIM card in a temporary phone then they ask me to call Metro to see if the phone was insured.
I called Metro back and was told it was at the time of the incident. Fully frustrated from all the runaround I went and purchased a new Samsung phone but lower quality because I didn't have enough to buy the same phone. I paid for insurance on that phone and your company failed to honor my legitimate claim. I insure all my phones for eleven years and had great service the whole time but that one time overshadows all the good ones.

Process was painless, quick and easy. Very satisfied with the experience. I don't think there's much it could be done to improve it. I was quite pleased and the process was very easy to understand. Site was very intuitive and I really don't know anymore to say other than it was excellent.

Plan protected my phone very well, but I lost much of my contacts, photos and other data, which apparently was not correctly backed up. It would be great in enrollment process that you could ensure your clients have their data protected/backed up in case of phone loss. This would be a great service in addition to asset protection. Claim process was easy, fast and efficient. Perhaps you could also add this service for an extra fee, or have a test to ensure that the phone memory, SIM card et al are being backed up and are accessible readily as user may not fully understand this.

The only complaint is the 50.00 deductible. Too much for someone with my income. So if the option to have a lower deductible, that would be great. Other than that, shipped in one day. And it arrived brand new with complete instructions on to to transfer my service to the replacement.

Was on the phone with a service rep for over two hours with the T-Mobile sales person helping me. Finally asked for a supervisor. Supervisor came on the phone and I explained to him. He hung up. I was very unhappy. T Mobile sales person recommended we try the automated site. Went to automated web site and claim was resolved in less than five minutes.

My Samsung Galaxy Flip 4 wouldn't open all the way. I done a claim and received a new phone the next day. I went to the T-Mobile store and they programmed my phone. This has been the best service I have ever had. I'm so glad I took the repair option and thanks for everything!

Great experience, quick fast and very easy to follow. Just had an issue with printing out the labels for return but this was a minor issue. I don't have a printer so I had to figure out where and take time to print out the return tag. But overall great experience!

It was incredibly easy for me to get my damaged phone replaced! I just went to a website, filled out a few things, and it was on its way. It was also easy to transfer my information and send my phone back. I will definitely be getting Assurant with each phone.

Y'all should make it where you can pick up phones in the store. Waiting on the mail to run sucks. Y'all also should not have the 3rd party stores. They suck and can't even do a return or override anything. It just makes things complicated. Thank you. Have a great day.

Phone wouldn't connect to Wi-Fi. Couldn't hear people talk. Would hold a charge. I tried doing a reset. Left it on the charge all day and all night. Phone was missing the stylus as well. Wouldn't download files. My thoughts the Samsung 23 Ultra is junk. I don't know if the Galaxy series let alone Android phones are top rated.

The process was very simple and straightforward. It's a bummer when your phone stops charging for no reason, buf at least filing the claim wasn't a giant pain? I hope that FedEx handles the signature delivery well, sometimes they don't seem to try very hard to get the signature, in my experience). But, I'll worry about that later! For now, I'm happy.

This is not the first time I had to rely on my phone insurance. Assurant has been a phenomenal company and has taken good care of me and my family when we have been in need. The premium I pay is definitely worth it, and it makes me feel safer with me and my family's devices because they're not cheap! We try to always keep our devices in good condition and this is the only time I had to file a claim for an actual accident, the previous cases were that the phone's internal hardware would be damaged or malfunction.

I think they also need to update the option they have when picking the issue with your phone. I had to reconnect with many people which became annoying. I was on the phone and the call will drop. Even though they took my phone number and said they will call back they didn't.

Had trouble with phones back separating from phone and phone getting hot. Got replacement phone next day. Phone setup and transfer of information was explained and using new phone now. Sent back old phone once I did factory reset. Easy and fast. Hoping this second replacement phone last longer than 15 months and that it doesn't have same issue as first phone did.

We have been with T-mobile and had used the insurance in the past to replace damaged phones. However this time around we received a bill for a non return fee. We returned the phone and have proof from USPS tracking that it was hand delivered to someone in York, PA on July 27th at 1:13pm. Their claim months later was that the package was delivered open and the box empty... That is completely ridiculous! Usps would not deliver a open empty box and the person that received the shipment would not have accepted it.
I filed a case with Usps mail fraud department and been waiting for them to get back after their investigation. In the meantime I spoke with T-mobile at least 4 times in regard to the charge on my bill. I was told not to worry and to pay only my monthly phone bill. That they would put a hold on the other portion from assurance while they figure out what's going on. This morning my service has been suspended!! This is totally unacceptable.
Assurant is playing the ostrich approach with their head in the ground. I'm not sure how with the many times I called in and wasted hrs of talking with them, being told that everything would be taken care of on at least 3 different occasions, they suspend my service and demand payment for a phone that was returned and proven to be delivered. We use some of our lines for business and could be missing calls and potential jobs due to their negligence. Be careful who you rely on, because both of these companies have failed us.

I broke my phone, went online, filed my own claim and it was really fast and no frustration whatsoever that I usually acquired when doing things like this. Mean speaking with Spectrum today on how to do this. They suggested that I go file my own claim that it be expedited quicker and everything else and wouldn't be no hassle. They were right. That's the way I would choose every time

Assurant did an amazing job. I use my phone for work and family as do many people. Assurant processed my claim and got a phone to me within three days. I was concerned because I had left my phone in a space at work and it was stolen. I thought that would make it very hard for me to file a claim, but it wasn’t. The agent on the phone was amazing! I felt that the company really wanted to help me.

From the time I did my paperwork, within 2 days my phone was delivered! The workers explained everything I had to do to get my new phone. I tell everyone I know to get the insurance on their phone. It is cheap and so worth it! I will always be a T-Mobile customer.

I lost my phone while hiking in a forested area. Unfortunately I had it in Airplane Mode to save battery because of the spotty cell coverage in the area. That made it impossible to find using the ‘Find Me’ app enabled with a family member’s phone. Assurant replaced my phone with no hassle and I had the replacement in hand within two business days. I don’t recommend losing a phone, but the replacement process was a whole lot smoother than I could ever have expected.

Someone stole my mother's phone and I was very upset. I called the phone number but it was easier to file the claim online. The navigation was great. I would recommend to others to use it. It is fast and accurate. No problems at all. I would recommend to anyone to please use the app because it will not lead you wrong.

I purchased this insurance on my new 12 Pro Max and one of the camera lenses broke and continued to break so I made a claim and it was quick and easy. I paid the $99 deductible and I am super happy with the whole experience in my replacement phone.

At first glance I thought the process would be time consuming and overly unbearable. The website was the exact opposite. Very easy to use and straightforward, loved how timely it was to use. No errors when trying to follow instructions. 10/10 would recommend to any other customer trying to repair their phone.

I filed an insurance claim on my cell phone, and I was specific with my situation information that the phone had been lost. But when I received the replacement telephone, there was no SIM card in the box. So I had to make a special trip to the T-Mobile store for a SIM card. At the T-Mobile store, the agent was less than knowledgeable and very rude.

After paying $20 per month for years my phone was damaged so I made a claim. They sent me a label and I shipped the damaged phone as instructed but it somehow got lost or stolen in transit. They received the box we sent but said the phone was not in it and are now charging me $600 for the phone. They would not even help me out or cut me a deal. Plus the phone we received from them was not as good as the one that broke. Battery time is poor and phone does not work well. I also paid a $100 deductible. This service is not even close to being worth the money. Take your chances and know you are better off buying a new phone if something happens rather than paying this rip off that will cost way more in the long run. They should have seen that we did our due diligence and cut us some slack rather than charging me over $600 for a broken phone that would not benefit them in any way.

I got my phone stolen and I went into a T-Mobile store and checked if my phone was under warranty and it was. They helped me fill out the proper paperwork and it came in the mail fast. Awesome. Within 48 hours. Thank you and now it would be nice to release my account so I can link my watch to the new phone. It’s the same number. Ok.

Filing a claim for a lost phone was easy. There was not a long wait time and the person I spoke with helped me with this process. I received a tracking number so I knew exactly when the phone was going to be delivered. The replacement phone was received quickly and works great. The process for making a claim is super easy and they have replaced my phone efficiently more than once, unfortunately but Assurant insurance is very good. I'm pleased with my coverage. I've had a few cracked screens and water damage and even one completely missing phone and they have covered my phone minus the deductible, each time without a problem. It's worth the payment for the coverage. You can file online and you don't even have to talk to a person for a long time or wait on hold.

Lately the phone is working bad about signal lost and I have to restart it sometimes to resolve the issue for a while. That is really annoying. The GPS is working bad as well and I have to do the same to resolve it. And that is happening more often every single day.

The employees at the store were knowledgeable and very helpful and so far I am satisfied with the transition. I took the old one back to the store after I got all my data out of it and had them wipe it clean so I could send it back. That took all of 5 minutes in the store. All in all, I am very satisfied.

I was extremely pleased with the response time from filing the claim to receiving the replacement phone. So far, the phone is working fine! The staff at the Xfinity store on Butterfield in Oakbrook were pretty amazed, too. They helped me process the claim and then transferred the data and replaced the SIM card once it arrived.

I am so glad that I have this Assurant Protection Programme, They are fast & effective, sent the equipment right away, please until now I have not received my equipment yet (UPS service sent wrong house number) but this is not make me feeling bad, I am still waiting for my equipment after Assurant Investigation, (because of UPS, not Assurant), Assurant should improve ways of sending equipments to people more accurately, Thank you.

I dropped my phone and cracked the back glass. Within 24 hours I had a claim ready and device shipped out to my address (with next day shipping). The process was smooth and free of hiccups and stress. I would highly recommend purchasing insurance via Assurant if you're prone to accidents with your electronic devices.

Phone came quickly but without any instructions. Thank you for everything that you've done for me! I don't like the $249 charge, but it beats not having my new phone. Isn't there a less expensive way to get the replacement phone? I also lost my charger with it, but I guess I shouldn't push it too far.

I am very satisfied customer. A phone was lost, I could not find it and after a week or more, I contacted T-Mobile on a Sunday. The new phone was placed on order that day, and arrived the following Tuesday. Went to a T-Mobile store, they installed a new sim card & activated phone for me. EXCELLENT SERVICE.

My phone was damaged when my husband, who was in rehab after having a stroke, spilled water on the phone. It was damaged and needed replacement. T-Mobile got me right over to Assurant's online claim tool, and everything was fine from there. Easy, no problems. Replaced phone model with same model and fast!

I have always had great experiences with Assurant. I may have had 3 phones replaced and all three times the experience was great. The instructions and the process through the app made it really easy. I had to make a change to my order and it was very simple and done over the phone.

Had to go to TMobile store to get assistance. Without another phone, store employee helped me file claim for replacement of broken device. Received within 24 hrs and then called cust service for help in trf info. Took several hrs and call back, finally able to start trf of info with wifi. 5 hrs process bug rep stayed on phone for 1st 20 min to verify it was working. Called next day to confirm it worked, answer other questions and walk thru factory reset.

After I got the shipping label everything went easy, would have had been a lot better if at the time you could had turned it in when you got you new phone, or turn in at any spectrum store. A lot better this way. No hassle. Done and over with. This way there no way of it getting lost in the mail.

Once realizing the phone was missing, a few clicks on our app on Saturday and a replacement phone was in-hand Monday. Fast, easy service and we will continue to carry Assurant's insurance on every phone in our household (which is about to be 4)! The investment is worth the peace of mind!

The service was excellent. The representatives were efficient, helpful, and I received my phone The next day after I filed my claim. I was very surprised how fast I received my phone. I felt more comfortable going to a spectrum office to have my phone started. When I received my phone, I didn't have to charge it. It was already charged for me.

The process was fast and easy... I went into a store, filed the claim, paid my deductible...and my replacement device arrived the next day. I put my damaged device in the packaging that came with replacement device and dropped it off at my local shipping company...no charge. We have insurance on all of our active cell lines... I even use Assurant for renters insurance, linked to my auto insurance. Thank you.

When my phone was damaged during an already stressful move. I received a fast and easy replacement phone. Two days after I made my claim I received my new phone along with a carton to ship my damaged phone back to them. I was very satisfied with the professional service I received and would recommend this service to my friends and family.

Please include some information on the process of transferring service to the replacement device. There was no literature included, just a device in a box. The device is working fine, however the policy of holding a full amount of a new device till receipt of the damaged one and the one that comes from you is pre-owned doesn't work for me.

Make it easier to get a new Apple ID Password (Forgot old password). Trying to access system keep asking for Apple ID Password. If lost or forgotten, how can I input Apple ID Password. Called for assistance and store (WIFI OUT). Still trying, exceeded 3 limits, have to wait. All else were perfect, received new Phone in two days. Very Happy.

Experience on phone trade in dealing with Spectrum, Apple, and Assurant! Our first time dealing with the phone trade in process was good but difficult for me as I am a disabled senior citizen! Still trying to educate myself and my wife on technology changes! I probably would be issue free if I knew more! I must say that I spoke with people all over the globe and sometimes it became a bit difficult for two major issues! Language differences and I’m hard of hearing even with hearing aids! Most CS representatives were trying their best to speak English but speaking was broken! All were patient and friendly with me! That’s more important to me than the buying process! God bless them all! Would I do it again? A definite Yes!

The customer service was terrific. I used the Website to submit the claim. The replacement phone arrived within 2 business days, with easy instructions to setup the new phone. I liked that a postage paid envelope to return the damaged phone was included. The replacement phone cost around $50, though I expected to pay only $10 (which is what I was told it wouldn't cost by the rep at the phone store).

I was incapable of uploading just my ID, on the claim, for my insured device; which put a hold on the claim process delaying my replacement even more! This set me back almost 3weeks. Still shocked how no other measures could be done to prove myself so I could have gotten my new device sooner. Especially for coverage I pay for tho? Solutions, I hope to see applied soon, would be:

Had a situation where I needed to make a claim. It took days to "process", and then the "overnight" shipping magically was changed to 2-day. Waiting a week for a replacement phone is a deal-breaker. Talking to others, the bait-and-switch shipping tactic seems to be a pattern.

The claim was incredibly easy to file online and the replacement phone came in the mail faster than I was expecting. The instructions to transfer my data, reset my old phone and send it back were quite clear. I had no issues with any part of the process. The only thing I might change would be getting a model that my local T-Mobile store carries cases/screen protectors for. I had to wait a few extra days to have that peace of mind since I had to order the case and screen protector online.

Didn't get the same phone with the same platform.. When I put in my pin number now I have to hit the ok button after pin. Before when you hit the last number it would unlock right then not it's put in pin number then hit the ok button. I feel like seconds count especially when you're in a motorcycle accident like I was at 55mph. When the car hit and ran on me.. Yea seconds count.. The phone isn't the same feature as to what I had..

Very disappointed in the service (or lack of) from Assurant. I have always had phone insurance for that peace of mind to know I can get a replacement quickly. I also always have a phone I purchase outright vs through the carrier. I had the unfortunate happen as my phone became damaged after 4 years. I started down the process to get it replaced using the insurance I have been paying on for 4 years. Got a hold email from Assurant saying they needed the invoice showing proof of purchase. Ok, luckily I purchased through Amazon so was able to pull a copy from my account. Sent it in and then got another hold stating they needed an invoice showing the serial number!?!. From a phone that was purchased 4 years ago on Amazon?? I ended up calling and told by the rep after a hold to talk to get supervisor that I could go into the T Mobile store and have the rep there call and confirm my phone. Ok, it is more trouble than I expected but not a great ordeal.
Went to the store, explained the situation to the T Mobile rep and she called them, then I was placed back on the phone with Assurant again and they proceed to tell me they sent me in to the store to try to get an invoice, after I sent them an invoice showing I purchased from Amazon. The new rep explained that there is nothing he could do, it's policy. I inquired, "Was there really a point in having the insurance for BYOD since there really wasn't a way to file a complete claim," his answer "they don't get denied all the time"... So basically after 4 year of coverage I thought I had it basically was scammed out of over $800 in fees for a service that I was never going to be able to use. BYOD users beware, you are better off just saving the money and banking it for later vs going against a policy that is not possible to file against.

I paid the $15 extra to get next day delivery and did not get my phone for 3 days. I online chatted with customer service. They were not much help other than to say once I received my replacement phone I could ask for a credit. The credit is on my bill. I didn't really get a refund of my money. Which is kind of frustrating. Everything else was fine. Very easy to put the in my claim. Clear directions once I received my replacement phone.

I followed the instructions and put everything in iCloud and the phone did the rest of the stuff I was supposed to do when it turned off and I was waiting to call you but the next day the phone came back on and has been working fine. I hope it keeps working until I upgrade at a later date.

They sent me a defective phone. I complained about it. They refuse to send me a new phone. I spent 1100 bucks on my phone. I sent them back the damaged phone and they received it. Admitted they received it, added 500 bucks to my T-Mobile account claiming they didn't get it yet the tracking number shows they did. They still never sent a replacement for the defective phone they sent me. Refuse to remove the money they charged my account and tmobile is also refusing even though both tmobile and Assurant are very aware that the phone I claimed the insurance on has already been returned. I'm done 22hrs worth of phone calls in a week and now tmobile is threatening to disconnect my service because I'm not paying them a dime until they fix my account. Had enough time to file lawsuit against tmobile and assurant.

I called insurance. I went through their system, completed everything through the automated system. When done one person came on the line, took a little bit more information and I was done. My phone came the next day within 24 hours and no hassles. Phenomenal. I’m impressed. Xfinity could take a page out of T-Mobile’s book.

On two occasions I was hung up on by representatives when asked for an explanation on why I could not take my device into a contracted provider to have repairs done instead of paying extra money to get a replacement device. After calling back and speaking to someone, I was told there wasn't any providers in my area, which was untrue. I called the provider and they confirmed they were still an Assurant provider and all they needed was for the claim to be sent over and they would order the part and have the device fixed. When I explained this to the representative, she couldn’t provide an answer to why I wasn’t given this option. I spent an additional $70 plus tax because I was forced to get a replacement device when I could have just taken the device in to the repair shop.

My experience was great with Assurant directly. They were courteous, expedient, and personable while handling my replacement. My only issue is they replaced my device with one that was not supported by security updates. It was a discontinued device. It just makes you feel like they are cheating you. You pay hundreds for the device you have, pay over $100 deductible for an unsupported device as a replacement, then you'll have to pay hundreds more to get a device that is supported. But the process itself was very satisfying in regards to time, all the way from start to finish.

The phone was turned off before my information could be accessed, and a exact replacement phone was ordered for me-I thought the copay was a little steep, considering the monthly premium but I was glad to have had the coverage. The CSR apparently was unaware that the phone would not be to me overnight and I am assuming that the delay was due to Monday being a banking holiday so there would be no mail delivery on Monday.

My cell phone provider insurance is through this company. My son broke his phone, I filed for a replacement phone. I received the phone in a timely manner and sent the broken phone in the box provided by company. I received an email stating the phone was not received. I called the company who stated that email was a mistake and they do in fact have the phone. Two months later, they withdrew 300.00 from my account for the "missing phone". I called and explained what happened. They still are refusing to refund my money. The phone was sent back in March. Neither T-mobile nor Assurant is willing to refund my money for a phone that was sent back. I have made several phone calls to both companies and have yet to have my issues resolved.

I filed a claim for physical damage to my phone. I was told that they didn't carry my phone in the warehouse (Google Pixel 6 pro 256 gb) and they would have to generate that phone in their system so the warehouse can get it and it would take 2 days. I got a message that following evening saying that my claim was complete. When I went and looked at the claim it was for the 128 gb not the 256. I called back to customer service and was told it was straightened out. The next morning I get an email saying that my claim is complete.
When I look at the phone it was for Samsung Galaxy. A phone we never even discussed. I called back once again and they told me they had to cancel the claim and I had to wait another 24 hours and they would call me. Nobody ever called me. 48 hours later I call and was totally basically got to start all over. Now I have to wait another 2 days for then they generate that phone in this system. It's now been 6 days and I have no idea where my claim is at, meanwhile I'm sitting here with a broken phone.
Most of the customer service representatives I spoke with had very poor English and were extremely hard to understand. This whole process has been very frustrating and I hope to never have to deal with this company again. But unfortunately I'm still sitting here with a broken phone and no idea if one is coming, and I can't do anything about it until after the weekend. As a first responder I rely on my phone for mapping and call generation for emergencies. I have explained this to them that it is crucial I get a phone as soon as possible.

My phone was replaced after it was damaged. I was qualified for an upgrade. It would be great to have the option to upgrade the replacement (if qualified for an upgrade) through Assurant instead of paying for the replacement through Assurant, then paying for an upgrade with the carrier. Considering that the payment will come included in the phone bill, it makes sense, but it’s a hassle when you need a phone right away.

Assurant did a fine job replacing our Google Pixel 7 phone. The online process was fairly easy, and it arrived in two days. It was well packed and had no damage to the box, which shows they use a quality carrier for shipping. I would highly recommend Assurant for any phone up to two years old. Well first off I went online and I made a claim on Thursday. Gave them 24 hours to contact me. Never heard anything back on my claim. Check my email. Contacted T-Mobile T-Mobile contacted them and even asked why is it taking so long to review my claim? It normally takes 24 hours and within 48 hours the client normally has a new phone or device. Well they said to me and the worker that is their process and there was nothing they can do about it.
We asked to speak to a supervisor. We waited on the phone an hour. They never came to the phone. We asked for a call back. That was Friday. It is now Sunday and I still haven't heard back from this company or a supervisor and they're open 7 days a week. So if you have a broken device and you run a business from your phone such as I do, you will not be able to make your money with this company and their policies. FYI I have been paying insurance on all of my devices and I pay almost $200 a month for insurance plus $ $105 to replace a device so why am I still waiting and they know that the phone is covered. Something to think about.

It only took one day for my replacement phone to come to my home. However, I did not need a replacement phone; the problem was that Xfinity deleted the message app off of my Samsung phone that was installed at the factory, and replace it with one that did not work. It also did not work on the replacement phone, and I had to contact Samsung to have the problem fixed. I had to file a claim for a replacement phone, because the Xfinity representative lied to me when he said that there was only a 14-day warranty on my phone. Samsung's warranty is for a year. I should not have had to file this claim. Xfinity should not have messed with the Samsung phone in the first place. This was their fault.

My phone broke the day, my family and I were making decisions; on the passing of my son. My iPhone was stolen during travel at the LAX Airport. After returning home, I went to the local T-Mobile store and they helped me to obtain a replacement iPhone. The replacement process was easy. They arranged to have the iPhone mailed to my home, and I received it the next day. After receiving the phone, I went to the store, and the staff helped me to recover my files and apps from the Cloud. It took a little time to recover all of my apps and files and to reactivate some of the apps, but the iPhone was working well again on the second day after going to the store.

This is the worst company to pay for insurance. You would better off saving the phone and going to purchase a new phone when your phone breaks. I have been waiting 5 days to receive my new phone. And mind you I still have to pay my T-Mobile phone bill for the 5 days that have not had a phone. I have the money for the deductible but I am still waiting for them to approve the claim.
I have asked for 3 days to speak to an American supervisor to find out on day 3 that THEY ARE ALL OVERSEAS and there is not one American person to speak to. Which to be honest overseas people do not even understand how we live. Overseas people do not understand when we have business and cannot miss business for 5 days. They have costed me more money than they have helped me save. The only thing overseas people know how to do is tell you, “I understand” something they clearly don’t understand. They have been taught to say that. They only know how to tell you it will be 24 hours to approve a claim after 3 days. This is not how most insurance companies do business. I have insurance on my other devices in my home and and I NEVER had to wait 24 hours for a claim to be approved especially when I had the money to take care of it. This is foolery at its best.
T-Mobile should be ashamed with even having a contract with them. NEVER AGAIN. This is not how Verizon has done business. I had to move all my phones to US Cellular because T-Mobile has just left a terrible taste in my mouth. Especially Assurance!!! If they have any 5 stars I wouldn’t believe them because I am a real person and I am telling you do not pay for their sorry insurance. It is a scammm!!! I have been paying insurance money for months to be on my 5th day still with no phone.. that is a problem for me and I it would be a problem for anyone.

A better experience would be to include other help links. My phone replacement did not properly have the keyboard installment. This error lead to having to go on Google through my laptop computer to find different solution options. Thankfully I understood that the keyboard is an downloadable app and was able to download the app via Play Store on my phone.

My phone unfortunately got wet and I applied for a replacement. Response was quick and my phone arrived as promised. I went to the phone store and they were terrific. I couldn't be more pleased with the entire experience. When I went to the store they were so helpful in transferring all of the icons that I needed to perform the functions that I require to perform my daily functions. My son broke his phone and when I called T-Mobile the agent transferred my call to an Assurant agent who facilitated the replacement immediately. Phone slick design makes handling an extra effort to hold. When I pull the phone from my purse, the phone slipped and fell to the ground and suffered crack damage to glass and phone’s body housing; all requiring replacement. My first thought was did my phone have coverage for this type of a event I called Assurant and they process the claim with no problem at all. I was thankful and very happy that I had the coverage and I would recommend anyone who has a device to Secure Coverage as an added assurance.

The first week after receiving the phone Internet service did not work outside of home. After numerous attempts through T-Mobile and Apple called Assurant and were told that there is ticket for the fix. It took another 3 days for the fix. Would have been proactive to inform us beforehand

Assurant did everything right. It happened once out of Assurant's hands. It took one more day. Another person on my account will be getting a newer phone. That person currently doesn't have insurance. They will get it on the new phone. The extra day did not make us happy. It was not Assurant's fault. I hope they are checking delivery times and getting at least a partial refund for the delayed shipments that happen.

On September 16, I filed a claim for my broken phone at the number given to me by Spectrum Mobile. I was told that I would receive a response in 24 hours. I got no response from Assurant. I called again on September 18 to ask about the status of my claim. I was told that I would receive a response by the end of two business days. I did not get a response by the end of the day on September 20. I called again on September 20 and was told by Floor Supervisor Kim, that the only thing she could do was send an email to the Warehouse Manager to ask what was holding up my claim. I was told to expect a response within 24 hours. I have now been six days without a phone and no one from Assurant has made any effort to contact me. I feel like I am getting the run-around in this process. As is the case with most of us, I rely on my phone for many things. If I were to have an emergency in my home, I would not be able to contact anyone for help.

On Sept. 8th one of my phones was damaged. Since I have my phones insured with Assurant Phone Insurance I called and made a claim. That was on a Friday. After submitting the claim I was told to receive an email. I waited 3 day then called to know why I did not get the email. It was ONLY after calling the payment got processed and things got moving. This should not have happened and if for any reason the email was not sent, somebody should have called me to follow up and know what was happening and get the process moving further.

After putting gasoline in my car I accidentally left my phone on the car's trunk when my wife and I were out in the ministry. I then backtracked and found it lying in The middle of a busy street and after retrieving it I discovered that it had been run over several times. It was a long, but painless process. The associate that I saw on the first day, gave me the information that I needed and told me how to proceed. At first, when I went through the insurance, they denied me, so I had to go through my phone company because I’ve been paying every month for this insurance. After that, everything went smooth. Great experience! On the site, I began my claim by reporting some of the issues with my phone. After answering a few questions, the process completed and approval stamped for my new device to ship. I received my replacement phone, but was delayed in connecting and transferring information. I could not transfer information sooner to return my unused device, due to the fact that I didn't have the screw to open the sim card tray. Other than that everything was good.

I would like to report that my experience with Assurant Phone Insurance was very satisfactory. I went to the T-Mobile store and they helped to file a claim. The phone arrived and I took it to the T-Mobile store where they worked their magic to transfer everything over. In addition the new replacement phone was actually an upgrade. The phone that was broken was a A12 and the new phone was a A32, much to my surprise.

Was quick & easy to start the claim, phone came in pretty quick within 2 days. Then only part that I had a problem with was activating the new phone. The instructions that came with my Metro by T-Mobile replacement phone stated to just switch my Sims over & it would activate etc. But really you have to log into your metro account, deactivate that Sim to that phone & then Place the simple in the replacement phone & then start the switching of your phone IMEI#. Then after resetting the phone your phone will activate

Easy user information from the website made it so I could order my replacement phone online right away. Shipping was fast, but tracking could be made easier to perform. Tracking was difficult to navigate and not accurate. However, my phone is showed up faster than showed during tracking. Process was easy and great follow up.

I bought a T-Mobile REVVL 5 at the end of 2020 for $400. I also added the Assurant Protection for $13/Month. Last month, the phone fell, the screen cracked, and it no longer works properly. At that point, I asked Assurant for a replacement to find out that I had to pay $99 of deductible to get a phone. Since REVVL 5 is not produced anymore, I thought they were sending me a REVVL 6, which costs $170. Not a great deal, but OK. Instead, they wanted to send me a Samsung A51 5g -- a phone with Android 10 (the REVVL had Android 11; the current version is 13) -- and that you can find on Amazon for $150. To recap, I bought a phone for $300; I paid $13*30=$390+99 = $489 for a replacement that I could buy for $150. Bottom line, Assurant may be worthy during the first six-twelve months of the life of your phone. After that, what you pay in deductible is comparable to buy a new phone.

I purchased a iPhone 12 for over $1,000 less than a month later it was stolen. I had to pay over $200 to get a new one sent even tho I paid monthly for insurance on it.! When I received the replacement in the mail I can tell right away that it wasn’t new! The camera was messed up when u take a picture it has blurred lines or the quality of the photo just isn’t as good. It lags when trying to switch to different app. The phone screen looked like it was popping out the phone on one of the corners and there was scratches all on the side and around the camera.
You can tell it was a used phone with major damage done to it. VERY UNSATISFIED considering the iPhone 12 that was stolen from me costed me over $1000 and was in mint condition and basically was brand new with no scratches and the camera worked perfect and the quality was great on it. WHY DID I GET A USED DEFECTED IPHONE 12 as my replacement! I paid my insurance for it and paid over $200 during the time of ordering the replacement.

I have been doing business with T-Mobile for a number of years. They have been very helpful. I'm very thankful to have plan insurance, and do recommend that Assurant Insurance always be purchased when making phones, computers. tablets, etc...

The experience was easy. And the time to get my phone was fast. Overall very happy with the service. Would recommend the service to all my friends and family. The phone was not damaged when I received my replacement and it was an easy process. Will use them for all my future phone replacement services as needed.

Phone overheated and no screen. Went to T-Mobile to have it examined. They suggested insurance claim as it could not be fixed. Contacted Assurant and had the replacement in the mail the next day! Wish we could save pictures but to no avail. Well done! Thank you. Staff on the phone was very attentive and empathetic to our needs.

From the first phone call I received complete information and complete written instructions once I received my replacement phone with clear and concise instructions of what I should do and when. The whole process was perfect (hands down). The only problem I had was activating the phone but 611 was there to help once I found the necessary information, they needed to activate phone. Excellent service very fast. Was very pleased with how easy it was to turn in my claim. And the fast response time. The new phone that replaced my lost one was exactly the same as the lost one. I would recommend Assurant to everyone. The monthly cost is worth it for the value.

Do not receive charger charging cord protective cover and case which were all lost with the order. Excellent service the replacing the phone but the extra equipment was not included as I listed before. Very much appreciate your assistance and business for some 10 years plus without incident. I would recommend your company to others who inquire.

I called to file a claim, was approved, paid the deductible over the phone by CC, new phone arrived within 3 days. Box and label provided to return old phone with tracking number after visiting my local T-Mobile Store to transfer all my data and getting new phone fully set up.

I am very pleased with the service claim that Assurant for my XFINITY Mobile Protection Plan. Very easy to request the claim, fast and approved right away with no problems, well properly package and securely so it would be damage during delivery. Very fast, efficient on sending me the phone and very happy with my new Samsung phone!! Thank you very much for making my experience with Assurant a positive and seamless process! Had no issues in receiving my replacement phone. It was quick and easy. Package came with directions and a envelope to return the damaged phone. You have fifteen days to return it so you have plenty of time to set up your new phone and make sure it works correctly and that all information was transferred.

My phone was lost. When I found it, it had been broken inside and out. I filed a claim, and within a few hours, a new phone was sent to my house. It ended up being an upgrade from the phone that I had. I couldn't be happier with the transaction. It was fast and easy. I would highly recommend.

The service was great. I got through the app pretty quickly and got confirmed quickly. Had my phone the next day. Was amazing. Had no real issues navigating the web site and the app. Only thing I wish you guys would do is if I went to where I got the phone which was through spectrum they could do it right there for me. Would make things so much easier and they could take care of it right there for me instead of having to wait a day or two to get a phone. Which again for me is not a big deal. It was overnight literally.
