Do not use realtor.com. If you inquire about one house they send your information to several agents at a time who likely give your information to even more agents. From there they do not care about their agents or providing quality agents to you. They base their sales of your information on whichever agent can pay the most, even if that agent is terrible.... They don't care about you as long as they get the money. Stay local and if you're looking to move far from where you are now ask your local agents for referrals in the area.

This is not the correct house for this address. ** is my home bought in 2023 and the house you have listed for this address is not correct. Remove your picture. The correct house is a 4 bedroom 3 bath 2085 square feet.

I have been a realtor for 7 years and have used a handful of lead sources. Realtor.com is far and beyond the worst lead source I have ever encountered. I won't bore you with the details. Don't use the service...it is a ripoff!!

As a Realtor, this site is horrible. I signed up for this and received nothing. Nothing!!! I tried to cancel back in November of 24. They canceled the subscription then reinstated it. They even reopened and collected more money. I spoke to another person in December and they said they would fix it. Not only did they not fix it, but they won't cancel my subscription and they won't refund me. They said that doesn't cancel until August. They have not provided 1 lead not 1. And have charged me thousands of dollars and continue to. Horrible customer service as well. Takes days and days for a response. This is unacceptable. This company preys on desperate realtors and is borderline breaking the law if not breaking it. Again. Costs thousands and doesn't generate 1 lead. Not 1.

Why the heck do you all keep calling me? I have no business with you whatsoever. I have tried to get off your list, but NO ONE answers the phone. When I call the number that calls me (737-380-1759), it hangs up on me. The number has called me all the time (1/29, 2/5, 2/11). Tell Damian ** to do a better job in responding to people. Otherwise, stay clear of opcity, movein and realtor.com or you get spam bot.

You can view properties but NEVER attempt to send an email to the "listing agent". You will be harassed by dozens of "realtors", then sold to every email list in the world and will be inundated with spam until you die. Absolutely inexcusable.

Realtor.com does not acknowledge qualified buyers. I would not feel comfortable listing my house with them unless I truly didn’t want to sell it. I have made two inquiries asking for appointments on two different properties at two different times. I got an email from them but nothing else, ever. Are these your properties? If so, Realtor.com is not trying to sell them for you, in fact they are running away from selling your house.

I'm a realtor. I purchased a Local Expert ad and received no calls. When I asked for a refund, they acted like they were doing me a favor by letting me cancel, but they would not give me a refund even a partial one.

It is pretty obvious that at the first of the year, Realtor.com sold lists from state records of people who had paid their property tax to realtors across the country. I'm in Tennessee...I got calls about selling my house in Tennessee and Oklahoma. I don't have a house in Oklahoma. I got 5 different texts and multiple phone calls asking if I'd be interested in selling my home. My home is not up for sale through any realtor. One person told me that "I must have signed up for something" as to why my information was made available to her. She said she got her information about selling my house from a "list" provided by Realtor.com. I'm sure the agent or her broker had to buy the list from Realtor.com. This is a poor business practice and needs to be stopped.

Realtor.com appears to intentionally assist in having their filters overridden by organizations selling property. Yes they have ad spaces within their listings but those have "Advertisement" declaring this. But if you filter for just "homes", they are permitting listings of timeshares and townhomes to front load the results even though they have their own filter for such. These do not have "advertisement" denoting this but it is clear that they are most likely selling these spaces and are deceiving people using their site. I had thought that the people listing the properties were just lying about the property type just to get it seen in more popularly viewed filters, but if you click on these deceptive listings, they show the correct property type. Therefore the site must be assisting in the deceptive placement of properties. If they sell listing spaces/placements, they need to be honest and declare it as an ad.

I found a property I was interested Listed By a Firmer pastor friend. So I simply clicked on his name to send him a message! HE IS THE LISTING AGENT. I been called, and texted several times a day by so many other agents that seem to think I am interested in them at all. I was told they PAY for MY info when I sent a message to ONLY the listing agent!

I had a very disappointing experience with the customer service, as I encountered rude employees who were unhelpful. The website is also filled with inaccurate information, including listings for roommates, rooms in houses for rent, and incorrect pricing. It's difficult to trust Realtor.com as a reliable source for finding a new home or apartment to buy or rent.

Site response time is taken up by ads which cost buyers precious time when sifting through the multitude of listings in a large urban area. Offer a premium product to serious buyers to avoid this waste.

They have a button to "email agent." when you clock on this button, the email doesn't go to the agent, it goes to them. A lot of confusion and outright bait and switch. Google the agent's name and find out their contact. This is a total scam.

They appeared interested in helping me find a home to mortgage and even said they would definitely find something but this proved to be totally false a few days later. They reply initially within one minute, pass you off a few times and it becomes totally obvious it's fake.

I am interested in one property that I saw listed on realtor.com, got a phone call from a agent from realtor.com that sounded that had just wake up with bad humor and bad temper, completely ignorant attitude, instead tell me about the property or hook me up with listing agent, he just start asking nonrelated questions trying to sell me services, I asked to hook me up with the seller and he hang up on me.

I decided to give them another try to kick off 2024. A 6 month commitment was the starting package. That expired in June 2024. No valid leads came in with 2 exceptions: one was another Realtor in the same area checking for her client. The other wasn't a lead, but the only other person to return my call, text and emails and stated it was awkward, but wanted to go on a date. I advised Realtor.com that I was not renewing 30 days before when they called me to see if I wanted to add more zip codes. They have, after calls and email said they would cancel, but continue to charge my credit card, now going on a 3rd month. It is in dispute.

Why do you allow and agent Jeff ** to remove his negative reviews? Wrote 2 reviews and I saw that agent Jeff ** had them removed from his profile. Is this a normal practice for the agents to show no transparency?

I would give this zero stars if I could. I have reached out to multiple houses to rent with no response whatsoever. Even after putting in a request everyday for a week. Then this company sends you a email saying have you heard back? You click on the link to answer and it just says thank you for letting us know. There was no yes or no option.... Complete waste of time in searching and finding a house I like.

I am a Realtor. I talked to a great sales rep in early Jan 2024, decided to purchase an Expert Ad each month for $101.25. Instantly I had trouble adding my designations, my company logo and the guide said he would call me back the next day and did not. Within 24 hours I decided to cancel due to too many restrictions and roadblocks to accuracy of my information. I called, canceled and to this day, Feb 1, 2024 they still have not refunded my funds and probably have not canceled my order. I have spent at least 5 hours on the phone with various employees of Realtor.com. They are a hot mess there. No one can follow through. I absolutely will never consider advertising with them again.

I am a Realtor in Miami, FL. When another realtor looks at my listing on Realtor.com, they will get contact information for a realtor who has paid for Advertising at Realtor.com. I looked at one of my listings and two minutes later I had 15 Realtors contact me through text, emails and phone calls asking if I wanted to see that property. They had no clue it was my own listing. They are paying, but not getting any real leads. And I am the rightful listing agent, but Realtor.com is hiding my identity unless I pay them.

My sales partner, Ruhi **, and I signed up for Realtor.com leads and were guaranteed a significant number of leads per month/year. To say we are falling short of that is an absolute understatement. The very few leads we have received (perhaps 8-10 in about 10 months) are all fake. We are spending nearly $1,600 per month on these leads and we also purchased banner advertising which is also worthless. Initially, we were splitting this cost with our lender partner who promptly backed out after discovering that this was going nowhere fast. Now we are being charged the full amount every month. We disputed the charges with our Bank but they are not honoring our requests to stop payments.

Before you even gain access to the multitudes of FAULTY LISTINGS, you arrive at the site which, by de facto, is set on 'sell.' You change it to 'buy' and begin your area search. You are taken (MAYBE) to the area you want to find a house and it instantly yanks you back to the 'sell' section. The most user UNfriendly site I've come across in years. GO TO ZILLOW INSTEAD!!!

I have read dozens of reviews from dozens of agents who have all had the same results when advertising with Realtor.com. They promise you 40 leads for your money but only deliver HALF! Sometimes less! They then won't refund your money spent so you end up wasting thousands of $$ for something they promise but cannot deliver! Sound familiar? This site does not give quality leads at all. Honestly this is one of the worst lead sources I have ever used, and they don't even provide the amount of leads promised! THIS IS A JOKE. These leads barely answer, and the ones who do are either not looking to purchase a home, and are only looking to rent or are just complaining about the home since they did a tour with their realtor already! STAY AWAY FROM THIS LEAD SOURCE!

This company just collects your money to sell your leads to someone who would pay more for your leads. The customer service and support are awful. They don't deliver on any of the promises they make. Keep passing you from one incompetent agent to another. They create case number after case number with no follow-up. When you finally reach someone, they try and sell you more products! And get more money. Complete waste of money, stay away.

The "sales agents" at Realtor.com are hungry for their commission in selling leads and local expert ads to realtors. Real Estate Agents: They are taking your listings and promoting them and then charging you -claiming it's a Contract when it is not a contract. They have the ability to simply cancel your authorization to charge your credit card if they wanted to. However, they will not cancel you even after all their false claims never arise. They are making a living, paying their rent and buying food off of realtors credit cards. Realtors; This is not a productive or effective ways to market or get leads. Try other creative advertising platforms.

I signed up for online leads from Realtor.com in Late September of 2022. I was promised 10 leads a month per zip code slot. I signed a yearly contract for 4 zip code slots which would have meant I'd be getting 40 leads per month. It's now the end of March in 2023 and I have received a total of 40 leads instead of receiving 240 leads. Realtor.com does nothing to resolve the issues. I've tried to get out of my year long contract but Realtor.com will not release me from my contract and continue to charge my card.

I submitted an inquiry on a specific property at Realtor.com. They called me and would not let up on unrelated questions that I was not comfortable answering. It felt like they wanted to lock me into an agreement with them to secure a property that was not the one I inquired about. They refused to connect me to the agent for the property until completing their onboarding process. She was rude and did not let me speak. This was a total bait and switch on what I now believe to be a fictional property to get me to hire them as my agent. Use their website to do your research if you want, but then call a local agent to learn about the property directly. Otherwise you'll get scammed by them so they can collect their commissions on the sale.

Attention Realtors: After signing up for Realtor.com advertising I only received half of the leads that I was verbally promised when I initiated the service. I later noticed hidden on the invoice that there was no guarantee of the number of leads. Part way through my subscription I was verbally promised that I would receive the full allotment. I'm nearing my expiry date and I'm still half down from the number of leads I was promised. We all know how important total disclosure is in our industry so I can't believe that an arm of that industry can be so deceptive. Buyer beware should not pertain when engaging Realtor.com.

If this review saves even one other Realtor from getting ripped off by this company it is worth it. Do not throw away money on Realtor.com lead programs, they are lying, stealing and it is a complete scam. I was sold their flex lead program (they regularly change the names of these programs but it's all the same scam). Over the course of a year you should receive about 40 leads, there is a 3 day window to cancel, but there's no way of knowing the leads are fake within that short period. When they sell you the program they tell you they are verified, and being sent exclusively to you. Neither is true. They are most often fake emails, names and numbers so definitely not at all verified and the same leads "exclusive to you" are being sold to other Realtors at the same time. Avoid at all costs! They scammed me for $2,721.00 there are so many lead sources out there, Realtor.com so far has been the absolute worst. Hope this helps someone else.

Tory **, one of the realtors from the Yorkville, IL Kettley takes advantage of the buyers she sells a home to. Tory is a realtor and a legal assistant so when you go after her for the deceit in the sale of a home she threatens to sue you. Tory sold a home and camouflaged serious issues that the home inspector did not even see. Also, when the buyers tried to negotiate the cost for the obvious issues, Tory would not budge. Tory knew exactly how to take advantage of the buyer and put them in a horrible financial crisis. I would not recommend Tory ** at all.

Michael **, never do business or recommend this realtor!!! I will never do business or recommend this realtor in this lifetime or the next. He is unprofessional, moody, disrespectful. He was extremely difficult to work with, selfish and never put the needs of the client first. He made me lose money yelled at me and disrespected my loan officer and the team. He tried to degrade me with his arrogance. I don’t know how he is still in this line of business and never been reported or how he has managed to maintain his license. Please if you ever come across this individual or anyone is oblivious to his poor job ethic and refers him to you, Run away while you can. Don’t believe his lies or allow him to entangle you with his nonsense. Working with this person was the worst experience of my life and I’m thankful that is all over. My first time buying a home was very traumatic thanks to him. I hope it will never happen to you.

I received a text message from a phone number in the 213 area code that did not have caller ID from someone claiming to be from Realtor.Com around the end of March 2022 saying they wanted to help match me up with lenders "For you inquiry about a mortgage." since I never made any such inquiry, I ignored the text message assuming it was a typical spam/phishing text message which you are told to never respond to even to reply stop. But within an hour, I started being bombarded by unwanted calls from mortgage brokers on a phone number that was already registered on the federal do not call list.

Stay away Francesca ** at realtor.com. She's a shyster and thief. We had a verbal agreement, which I have in text form, to return 3/4 of our $13,000 security deposit.($9,750). She only returned $9,100. When confronted her answer was "you signed it". Luckily, this was only a vacation rental. Based on this she shouldn't be trusted on a major home purchase. She has been reported to realtor.com corporate headquarters.

HOA fees are being falsely reported as realtor.com is pulling the data from MLS and posting the fees as a monthly fee instead of an annual fee. Huge deterrent for potential buyers on this heavily trafficked website. We reported the issue and the problem continues during this crucial selling time.

I have requested three separate times for Realtor.com to remove my property details from their website. They have not. The home that I own is not for sale. I do not want my property details on this website. This company is fraudulently advertising homes which are not for sale and they are using it as click bait. This company needs to be investigated for fraud.

This needs to be told upfront because insurance companies will not insure a home with cast iron pipes. A lot of times this is withheld information from the realtor/homeowner because of the insurance stipulation on cast iron pipes. Then the house can't be sold unless it's a cash buyer. It should be listed as a cash buyer only. You can't get a loan for a house with cast iron pipes. So that's why you need to know upfront. Most disclosures don't disclose information about cast iron pipes. Don't buy a house with cast iron pipes because insurance companies will drop your insurance. If you have a loan on the house then the loan will foreclose if you can't get insurance. Realtors/insurance and loan companies do not tell the buyer upfront. It is withheld information. This is happening in Florida!!!!

I simple asked a question about a property in Fairfield PA and a Realtor named Sherry ** started texting me and sending me emails. I asked her to please answer the question, which she would not. Then she got hostile and started sending me harassing emails for a day. She told she couldn't answer my question, then said she wouldn't answer it then told me she was in a terrible situation at a hospital with her sick husband. Why are you answering emails then? She was upset and wasted my time because I didn't want to choose her as a agent. Realtor.com you better pick more professional realtors to represent you.

We were blessed to have found Maureen ** as our agent/realtor. Moving is stressful especially across state lines. I originally found her online & she is the best. I would highly recommend her if you moving to/ or in Florida. She is very responsive, professional & caring to her clients. She follows up consistently & listens to your needs & expectations....I spoke with probably 4 or 5 other agents before I choice her & glad we did. We now have our home now, she was helping up through the entire stressful months getting here. Thank you & definitely recommend!
