As a Realtor, this site is horrible. I signed up for this and received nothing. Nothing!!! I tried to cancel back in November of 24. They canceled the subscription then reinstated it. They even reopened and collected more money. I spoke to another person in December and they said they would fix it. Not only did they not fix it, but they won't cancel my subscription and they won't refund me. They said that doesn't cancel until August. They have not provided 1 lead not 1. And have charged me thousands of dollars and continue to. Horrible customer service as well. Takes days and days for a response. This is unacceptable. This company preys on desperate realtors and is borderline breaking the law if not breaking it. Again. Costs thousands and doesn't generate 1 lead. Not 1.

Realtor.com does not acknowledge qualified buyers. I would not feel comfortable listing my house with them unless I truly didn’t want to sell it. I have made two inquiries asking for appointments on two different properties at two different times. I got an email from them but nothing else, ever. Are these your properties? If so, Realtor.com is not trying to sell them for you, in fact they are running away from selling your house.

It is pretty obvious that at the first of the year, Realtor.com sold lists from state records of people who had paid their property tax to realtors across the country. I'm in Tennessee...I got calls about selling my house in Tennessee and Oklahoma. I don't have a house in Oklahoma. I got 5 different texts and multiple phone calls asking if I'd be interested in selling my home. My home is not up for sale through any realtor. One person told me that "I must have signed up for something" as to why my information was made available to her. She said she got her information about selling my house from a "list" provided by Realtor.com. I'm sure the agent or her broker had to buy the list from Realtor.com. This is a poor business practice and needs to be stopped.

Realtor.com appears to intentionally assist in having their filters overridden by organizations selling property. Yes they have ad spaces within their listings but those have "Advertisement" declaring this. But if you filter for just "homes", they are permitting listings of timeshares and townhomes to front load the results even though they have their own filter for such. These do not have "advertisement" denoting this but it is clear that they are most likely selling these spaces and are deceiving people using their site. I had thought that the people listing the properties were just lying about the property type just to get it seen in more popularly viewed filters, but if you click on these deceptive listings, they show the correct property type. Therefore the site must be assisting in the deceptive placement of properties. If they sell listing spaces/placements, they need to be honest and declare it as an ad.

I decided to give them another try to kick off 2024. A 6 month commitment was the starting package. That expired in June 2024. No valid leads came in with 2 exceptions: one was another Realtor in the same area checking for her client. The other wasn't a lead, but the only other person to return my call, text and emails and stated it was awkward, but wanted to go on a date. I advised Realtor.com that I was not renewing 30 days before when they called me to see if I wanted to add more zip codes. Instantly I had trouble adding my designations, my company logo and the guide said he would call me back the next day and did not. Within 24 hours I decided to cancel due to too many restrictions and roadblocks to accuracy of my information. I called, canceled and to this day, Feb 1, 2024 they still have not refunded my funds and probably have not canceled my order. I have spent at least 5 hours on the phone with various employees of Realtor.com. They are a hot mess there. No one can follow through. I absolutely will never consider advertising with them again.

I am a Realtor in Miami, FL. When another realtor looks at my listing on Realtor.com, they will get contact information for a realtor who has paid for Advertising at Realtor.com. I looked at one of my listings and two minutes later I had 15 Realtors contact me through text, emails and phone calls asking if I wanted to see that property. They had no clue it was my own listing. They are paying, but not getting any real leads. And I am the rightful listing agent, but Realtor.com is hiding my identity unless I pay them.
The worst part is that the National Association of Realtors is a partner of Realtor.com. They even allow them to use the trademark “Realtor”. I pay almost $800 a year in order to have access to the MLS, however, the NAR has sold access to the MLS to Realtor.com, Zillow, Trulia, and many others. Having access to the MLS used to be our advantage. Now, if I want to appear in a search, I would have to pay all of these other entities in order for them to identify me as the listing agent. The NAR does not protect us (Realtors), nor do our local Realtor Associations, and the public gets inaccurate information.

My sales partner, Ruhi **, and I signed up for Realtor.com leads and were guaranteed a significant number of leads per month/year. To say we are falling short of that is an absolute understatement. The very few leads we have received (perhaps 8-10 in about 10 months) are all fake. We are spending nearly $1,600 per month on these leads and we also purchased banner advertising which is also worthless. Initially, we were splitting this cost with our lender partner who promptly backed out after discovering that this was going nowhere fast. Now we are being charged the full amount every month. We disputed the charges with our Bank but they are not honoring our requests to stop payments.
It took us many days to determine how to ensure that we are not on an auto renew program and to add insult to injury, we paid our operation's manager, per hour, just to finally reach someone at Realtor.com who would walk him through the process of turning off the auto renew. We are not even confident at this point that our auto renew will be cancelled. This has to be one of the worst investments we have made in terms of purchasing from lead generation companies, even though it was initially one of the ones we were most excited about. We feel as though we are more than entitled to reimbursement on our investment but at this point, it seems as though would be lucky just get cancel our current contract. We plan to post more on other blog sites as we want to warn all agents about our dissatisfaction. Though it may be time consuming, if our posts can save any other hardworking agents this heartache, it will be worth it. Buyer beware....

I signed up for online leads from Realtor.com in Late September of 2022. I was promised 10 leads a month per zip code slot. I signed a yearly contract for 4 zip code slots which would have meant I'd be getting 40 leads per month. It's now the end of March in 2023 and I have received a total of 40 leads instead of receiving 240 leads. Realtor.com does nothing to resolve the issues. I've tried to get out of my year long contract but Realtor.com will not release me from my contract and continue to charge my card.
What's more, the leads I have received are not workable leads. The leads either have agents or they're calling about properties that are already under contract. Realtor.com does not screen the leads and when I complained about the leads, Realtor.com openly admits that I will have to weed through the junk leads to get the good leads. The thing they don't tell you is that all of the leads are garbage.

They refused to connect me to the agent for the property until completing their onboarding process. She was rude and did not let me speak. This was a total bait and switch on what I now believe to be a fictional property to get me to hire them as my agent. Over the course of a year you should receive about 40 leads, there is a 3 day window to cancel, but there's no way of knowing the leads are fake within that short period. When they sell you the program they tell you they are verified, and being sent exclusively to you. Neither is true. They are most often fake emails, names and numbers so definitely not at all verified and the same leads "exclusive to you" are being sold to other Realtors at the same time. Avoid at all costs! I received a text message from a phone number in the 213 area code that did not have caller ID from someone claiming to be from Realtor.Com around the end of March 2022 saying they wanted to help match me up with lenders "For you inquiry about a mortgage." since I never made any such inquiry, I ignored the text message assuming it was a typical spam/phishing text message which you are told to never respond to even to reply stop. But within an hour, I started being bombarded by unwanted calls from mortgage brokers on a phone number that was already registered on the federal do not call list.
I never answered or responded to a single phone call. Instead I would block the phone number and label it mortgage fraud. By then end of the week, I had received well over fifty phone calls. So I ended up looking up all the companies that I could identify and went to their better business bureau file and filed complaints against them all. And then I was finally able to stop most, but not all of the unsolicited/unwanted phone calls to stop. Today it is mid May 2022 and again there is a phone call from this same 213 area code phone number that sent the text message at the end of March. I called it back from another phone number that I have previously had to block all incoming calls to because of similar unsolicited phone calls. Possibly also generated by these same people but I can not prove it.
I gave the guy that answered the phone number that they had called and made it very, very clear to him that there was no one at that phone number that was interested in anything related to real estate. That there was no one buying or selling a home and no one was looking for information on a mortgage for any reason. I told him to remove the phone number from whatever list they were responsible for adding it to that generated all those unwanted phone calls at the end of March, to not to share my phone number with anyone again and to never call me again for any reason. Then the guy asked me for my name and I told that there was no need for him to have that information and that all he needed to know was the no one at my phone number would be doing business with him or anyone else that called.
Hopefully I will not be receiving any more unwanted phone calls related to real estate in any way, even remotely. I do not ever establish business relationships with random callers who place unsolicited phone calls to my phone number. Plus I never answer any phone calls from phone numbers with no caller ID, from phone numbers with a caller ID that I do not recognize or from any business that I do not already have a business relationship with. But I do block and report every single unsolicited phone call with or without a caller ID. Be careful who you share your phone number with so that you do not end up being bombarded with numerous unwanted phone calls like what happened with these people. And that includes everyone because in this case it appears that someone else gave my contact information to these people and it resulted in nearly two months of harassment because I received numerous unsolicited and unwanted phone calls.

This needs to be told upfront because insurance companies will not insure a home with cast iron pipes. A lot of times this is withheld information from the realtor/homeowner because of the insurance stipulation on cast iron pipes. Then the house can't be sold unless it's a cash buyer. It should be listed as a cash buyer only. You can't get a loan for a house with cast iron pipes. So that's why you need to know upfront. Most disclosures don't disclose information about cast iron pipes. Don't buy a house with cast iron pipes because insurance companies will drop your insurance. If you have a loan on the house then the loan will foreclose if you can't get insurance. Realtors/insurance and loan companies do not tell the buyer upfront. It is withheld information. DO NOT USE REALTOR.COM. I started using Realtor.com in June 2019 for leads in my real estate business and was told that I would get 30 leads per month based on the zip code I provided. These leads were supposed to be reviewed and sent to me after they met Realtor.com criteria as a good lead. After a month I had only gotten one lead and I called them back to discuss this issued and they convinced me that I needed to add a second zip code. I did. This is July 2019. After not getting any leads from the second zip code and lack of communication from customer service I decided to cancel using them. The cost for leads every month is very expensive and I wasn't getting what they told me I was paying for.
On August 8, 2019 I sent a letter to the billing department as well as customer service to have everything canceled and explained that I did not want any further service as the service they were providing was not what they told me it would be. I never signed any type of agreements or otherwise. I still to this day have not gotten any response from the accounting department or customer service. A year later I receive a phone call from an attorney's office to collect payment on my account. I sent another letter via email and called Realtor.com who has yet to respond to anything or give me any answers. I am now seeking legal advice and moving forward with an attorney.

I signed up with realtor.com in May of 2019. I look at it as an opportunity to increase lead gen and hopefully convert 4 or 5 times like I have done with other well known lead source providers. We have extensive tracking in conversion follow up techniques and get the most out of each lead that we possibly can. After some time I started to notice that other agents would get the same lead at the same time as me. Also I started to notice that the listing agent would contact me and say, "How can I help you on this property". Started to wonder why the listing agent was contacted on a buyer lead and given information. Also I was never told that my leads would be shared.
I initially signed up for something that was $6,500 and was giving it a 10% discount for making a full payment at up which I did. I also the next following day or so purchase another zip code and put it on a monthly payment. They did not extensively make me aware that this was a contractual obligation for 12 months and there was no way to adjust or change zip codes after purchasing. The real Rub came when I started to really understand that 90% of every lead that the has been given to me were all mobile home leads and further started to realize that they would mine the good leads and resell them through a referral service that they own called OpCity! This company's overall practices should be investigated. They are misleading the customers that are real estate agents. I will no longer do business with realtor.com or any of its affiliates!

I have been with Realtor.com and pay every month on time. I got a call from them last week telling me that they are offering a 60% reduction in our charges. I think that that is very good for them to do however I can’t afford to pay them at all right now with the restrictions that we are currently experiencing with real estate. My husband has had to take a major reduction in pay, we have had to apply for a forbearance on our mortgage, we have had to apply for assistance with our other bills as well. I asked to cancel the remaining term which is June, July and August. Because I pay for 3 zip codes. The woman I was speaking with told me that she did not have the authorization to cancel my contract but that she would send my request to upper management and that someone would call me within three business days. That was eight days ago. They are still charging my credit card and I cannot find a telephone number to contact them.
I also read a previous review a few minutes ago where an agent requested, before her expiration, to not have her contract renewed. And they renewed it anyway and took money from her that she still has not gotten back. I have done the same thing a few months ago and now I am afraid that they are going to continue this nightmare and I have no way out of it.

I know there are bigger fish to fry right now... But I have no idea who else to tell this to, so I'm going to the people with a voice. I am a real estate agent in NJ on lock down, and my husband has been laid off work... literally cutting our income in half right now. As an agent I use a lead generation system that I pay for from realtor.com. I pay over $1200 a month for these leads. Myself, and several other agents have asked to cancel our accounts. We can't show houses and honestly finding a house is not a top priority for most right now. Realtor.com refuses to cancel accounts, they have offered a reduction of 60% to our current contracts, or offer us a buy out by paying them 2 months upfront. That would be almost $2500 for me ... their lead system was already bad, they scam you into purchasing these leads to begin with, buyer beware. That is my own fault, but, this is just crazy.
I cannot afford to keep paying them. So we have to continue to pay for a service that will not do us any good. I have argued with them, made several phone calls. I just went to the extent to cancel my credit card associated with them, but the card company told me even with a canceled card they will still honor contracts with Realtor.com. It's not just me, but thousands of agents... I think this needs to get out there so we can get some kind of relief from this. I don't know how we will manage our other bills let alone keep paying for a service I cannot utilize, or a service I don't believe they can actually honor and live up to.
I hope you can help!!!!Thank you,

I have been an agent for many years and Realtor.com was my main lead source. Realtor.com used to sell leads of potential home buyers and sellers' information when people signed up to their site and had a question, or had seen a home they had interest in. The leads were sold based on ZIP code per what they call shares and each share was 40 leads a year distributed over the course of a year, they determined a monthly price and that was what we paid per month. Realtor.com locks you into a contract for 12 months at a time with no option out other than to pay the year in full and who is going to pay a year in full for a service you will not receive?
In 2019 I had noticed a significant drop in volume of leads, Realtor.com was not delivering what was promised in terms of how many leads. Seriously being underdelivered and the leads that were coming in was either consumers whom either have an agent already, or are looking at a very low home price or not possible to convert, either bad information or not able to be financed. In October of 2019 I was approached by Opcity for our office to be an Opcity partner, Opcity is a company that has merged with Realtor.com. Their services include taking leads from Realtor.com, calling the lead first before any leads are passed out to the agents that are paying and then upon that lead being good and being a consumer who wants help then handing it out to agents who participate in Opcity at 35% referral fee to Opcity upon a successful closing.
With all that said when Opcity approached me I was open to it as I figured it would help my agents potentially fill the void during the slow times. By November of 2019, one month into Opcity, I had realized that Opcity was the main reason for our loss of volume and creditable potential buyers and sellers from Realtor.com. We were getting only the consumers and what was remaining after Opcity was through making the initial point of contact. Which means that every real estate agent that is paying Realtor.com and for this service is being lied to and fraudulently sold a product that is not being delivered in an ethical way. When you discuss this with Realtor.com they say, "Well you are getting leads," yes technically they are emailing the leftovers so I guess technically you can say you gave a lead but in all truthfulness they know that what they are doing is fraud.
In January of 2020 Realtor.com had to give me back a large credit due to under delivery over 50 leads that they sold me and tied up my money with that was never delivered to me. This will also be the same at the end of my term on other areas as well. When you try to address the issue and tell them you want relieved from the contract they tell you "if you do that then we would be required to pay the year in full". Well how can you require someone to pay for a service that they have not received. This brought me to fight with Realtor.com as what they are doing is pure fraud. The relationship between Realtor.com and Opcity and the agents that Realtor.com is collecting money from is double dipping. Of course their sales reps act dumb when you call, getting a person on the phone to be real and not getting a pre-rehearsed answer is next to impossible.
Realtor.com has now released an email yesterday as of 3/5/2020 stating that they are proud to announce the merger of Realtor.com now as Opcity. Yet Realtor.com still won't let me out of my contract. I am not sure how a company can steal thousands of dollars from real estate agents and these business practices be acceptable. If Realtor.com has in fact merged they should let agents out of their contracts. Realtor.com is supposed to be supported by the NAR however if you ask Realtor.com if the NAR is aware of what they are doing they said that the NAR is in full support of this. What their company is doing to those of us in the business paying for a service that is not being delivered properly is purely unethical bad business behavior. I cannot believe that the NAR condones this and I cannot believe no one has taken this further in a court of law.
I had to fight for days and several sales reps to get any possible shortage on my contract. I just wanted out of the contract and they should let those of us that want to terminate. After all what we originally signed up for is no longer what the company stands for and we are not being treated as we once were. However even with their unethical behavior they would not relieve me from the contract. So I am forced to continue to spend a large sum of our office budget every month for potential business that is not able to be converted or people who already have agents mostly, because the people who are true home buyers and sellers are being vetted through Opcity.
However on another note there is no lack of good qualified leads coming out of Opcity, my office is getting them and converting them and assisting these people with their home buying needs. These people coming from Opcity are the leads we are technically paying for. The leads coming from Opcity used to be our leads, these are the people and the contact information we agreed to pay for and what we are still paying for, only for Realtor.com to provide them to Opcity first and then Opcity to the sell the good qualifying potential buyers and sellers back to our office at a 35% referral fee. It is disgusting and when our contract is done we will be no longer supporting this company as their ethics, service and product is a scam.

I felt like beating my head against the wall almost weekly during the 10 months I had an agreement with them. Had I known in the beginning, what I quickly learned, is that they have you sign a contract which basically says they are allowed to get your money each month whether or not they perform with what they agreed to.
They use verbiage that protects them such as "not guaranteed" and if you are not satisfied you can get a refund at the end which is not true unless you agree to sign another agreement for another 12 month term then they will give you a credit. No thanks! Also, their sales force promises you the world to get you off their line quickly so they can prey on the next poor sap. Then when you try to call back to get it fixed because the changes were not made, they play dumb and say there is nothing regarding this in your file. How convenient.

Been 6 months at $477/month and not one single lead has panned out. To make it worse when I called and complained the lady told me that for every 100 leads they send 97 are bogus! Those were her own words. So basically 97% of the leads you get are crap. We get bottom of the barrel leads and on top of that any we call back has already talked with another agent. That’s because they are sent to us and our competitor but that was never disclosed to us. Such a terrible company. I don’t know how they are still in business.

I have been purchasing realtor.com leads for almost 2 years. As with any lead source - some are better than others - but I was able to convert a good number to justify the cost. UNFORTUNATELY January, 2019 brought a change to realtor.com leads. I was still buying the same leads/same market - but only receiving a scattered amount of leads. The leads received were typically under $100,000. One lead - in particular - for $13,500 - I received 43 times. When I called the "listing company" the property WAS NOT for sale and had been auctioned off 11/2018. Their Customer Service department investigated and after almost a month told me per my MLS the property was listed?! I pointed out per the "listing company" even if I were to have a request to show the property IT WAS NOT FOR SALE!! Realtor.com finally to give me "some credit" but only at the end of the contract for this zip code.
After multiple calls, realtor.com representative - Ralph - telling me that leads were just slow - I HAVE NOW LEARNED THAT REALTOR.COM IS HAVING THEIR COMPANY OPCITY CALL THE SAME LEAD. ONE PERSON I CALLED PUT ME ON HOLD to take another call and came back to the line to tell me it was realtor.com!! None of this was disclosed when I renewed my zip codes. This is fraud and misrepresentation. So not sure what everyone else is seeing but I have going to have an attorney look into this. At best case full disclosure should have been made when I made the purchase - versus being told "Leads were just slow." That would have allowed me to make an informed decision. Actually what Ralph told me is "There were fewer leads this year and in the past they had "Oversold" some markets?! Ok so I am stupid for believing this but past history had been good so initially I bought this.

I have been purchasing leads from Realtor.com for a few years with their fast option. Fast option according to realtor.com means only shared with one other agent. However just like other customers have complained that the same lead was called by more than 2 agents even within 5 minutes of their inquiry which seems to be happening more frequently. Recently I had the same lead from one of my zipcodes sent to me and while I was on the phone trying to connect with the lead, Opcity which is owned by realtor.com had their ISA 's call on the other line to connect with the lead.
I have also partnered up with OPCity for a referral fee. They were selling me the same leads and competing with me by calling the lead and send me the lead for a referral fee. I have evidence to show the timeline on this lead. Has this happened to anyone else? Please reach out to me ** so we can figure this unethical business practice. Thank You.

Very user friendly and easiest way of getting how to sell. Discounted Realtors affirm or include the majority of their key due dates into the product, which will at that point plan updates for them to keep everybody on track. Best of all, these updates aren't just setting off to the agent – the individual can set them up with the goal that the home buyers and the dealer's agent get the updates too. It fabricates a programmed correspondence channel among real estate agent and client, so the client thinks about up and coming due dates and can connect with any extra inquiries.

Made bid on property and little interest was displayed with helping me even though I had a lender and offered listed price on foreclosed property. I was very surprised no one seemed interested in selling me the property. The day after offering my bid, the $24,900 foreclosed property price began to shoot up on the major real estate advertising sites. It had been on the market for well over 6000 days at that price and four days after I placed a bid, it was being advertised for over $48,000+. All of a sudden this property was being shown as much more valuable on most of the major real estate selling sites. I do not know what was going on, but it was deceptive and I felt my need for a house was used as an opportunity to scam me and the public. I sent numerous emails, made phones to customer service where I was told someone else would call me back and that didn't happen until early March. 2 months of being ignored and my cancelling of my account not being address. I spoke to Michael ** in March who talked me into staying, which I am not sure why I stayed, but March proved to be even more dismal with the quantity and quality of leads that I had received. I have been buying real estate buyer leads from realtor.com and they are expensive but I could convert enough of them to barely justify the cost of over $1,000/ month. Recently they changed their communication protocol to force you to communicate through their proprietary app that makes it extremely difficult to intelligently speak to the leads because you can't have any other apps on your smartphone open at the same time (can't look up homes while you're talking to the prospect) and greatly increases the confusion factor with the prospects because now on top of getting calls from multiple Realtors every time they click that little button on a home, now Realtor.com is masking your phone number when you communicate back and forth with them so you can't even "brand" your communication with text and e-mail signatures to try to reduce their confusion and let them know which Realtor is actually being proactive and getting them the info they want.
I was having trouble with the app when I first discovered their new protocol and it took over a week for them to respond to over a dozen requests from me for assistance. I got so fed up I told them I want to cancel the remainder of my contract, the leads are now virtually worthless to anybody that doesn't have a dedicated inside sales agent sitting at a desk and I really don't want to do business with a company that will take $1,000/mo from me and not even respond to help requests. They are refusing to let me out of the remainder of my contract and are going to try to force me to keep paying them over $1,000/mo for leads that are now useless. Don't do it!

I receive calls from Realtor.com all the time trying to sell me zip codes and I know from past experience they're selling these zip codes to multiple agents, so I've never signed up. However I got a call about a new program called Local Expert. It was to launch in December of January and I was supposed to have 20% market share in the two zip codes I purchased. I was told potential Sellers would call me on determining the value of their houses.
Since I only purchased a 20% market share I wasn't expecting to be flooded with contacts, but over a four-month period the only request I received was for a rental. I was very disappointed, so I contacted the rep and he promised me someone would get back to me within 3 days to discuss my account. I never received one call. I concluded this was another oversell by Realtor.com. I purchased the program to receive potential listing leads, not to be told how many algorithms and hits I was getting. This was a poor investment and I will never buy any lead program from them again.

I have to pay for my own leads on my own listing that I took? Sign me up! That was probably the worst mistake of my real estate career. It was a 12 month contract, so $20 a month wasn't that bad and it is a tax write off.
Well for a while I had forgotten all about it because I wasn't getting any leads from them for some time. So at the beginning of this year, I am getting ready for tax season. I print out all my credit card statements and noticed I was being charged $144.49 per month since June 2018! I called them and they said they sent me a renewal notice and if I didn't respond they would "assume" I want to continue. Well come to find out, I never received any email from them. They actually had some guy named Scott's email attached to my account! He was receiving my emails.
After long battling phone calls with their reps I finally got one of them, Justin, to talk to his boss and they agreed that I shouldn't have been charged for all those months and that I would receive a full refund. I have that from them in an email! Well two more months have gone by and guess what? No credit back from them on my Discover Card! Oh and to make it worse... they charged me for January and February! These people are the worst! I have called and emailed Justin numerous times... No response. I have called the support line and every time they say they cannot get a hold of Justin or any other account specialists. This is a bad way to run a business! However, at the end of the year they said that I'd be credited for any leads that I did not receive. They've been taking my money each month and I've only received a small percentage of the leads that I've been expecting. I was told that it is likely because of the weather (I'm in a cold climate). This didn't seem right as I also pay for leads from the other big real estate website and my lead count hasn't dropped from them at all.
I've also received "bad leads" and wrote emails asking for them to remove these leads from my system so I will not pay for them. They told me that I would be able to get a refund for these leads at the end of the year. How are we supposed to keep track of bad leads a year later? They fully understand that this won't happen and they will not have to refund the leads. It's a shame because I was looking forward to not giving so much of my money to the other big real estate website... But the leads on Realtor.com are just plain terrible. After 17 "leads" I learned from last few leads that they got called, texted and emailed by four (4) Agents in under 1 minute for the same one address. I reported it to Realtor.com and demanded a refund for the last 4 months. They said billing will call me back in under 72 hours. After 4 days I called them again and they said they put me on priority to get a call back in 24 hours. 2 days have passed and no callback again. When I called they got me through billing and had me wait for 48 minutes on hold!!! Of course they denied that the leads were called by 4 agents even though I offered proof from 2 leads that confirmed it via texts.
I talked to 5 people and I was being very nice but got absolutely nowhere. I decided to file a small claims lawsuit and asked them for their Legal Department address from their customer service number. They claimed they didn't know what that is or who would have that. Then again, they said they will get back to me in less than 3 days with that information. I am not putting my hopes up! They owe me $1458 for fraudulent product and service! I'm going to file a complaint with a local district court and I'm also reporting to the NC Real Estate Commission. I want my refund!

Horrible experience with Advertising Dept. at Realtor.com. They advertise an Agent Branding service where Realtors can buy advertising space for their area. Unfortunately your ads will not show in your town as the person searching has to enter a specific ZIP Code only. Unless you work in a large city that differentiates subdivisions by their ZIP rather than a name, don't use this service. Your ad will never pop up in anyone's searches.
I purchased the agent branding and no one could find me in the towns that I purchased the ads. Customer service informed me that I will only show if a proper ZIP Code is entered and not the town or subdivision name, even if that particular town only has one ZIP. I immediately cancelled my subscription on the first day, within 24 hours. I was given a confirmation number and told that a refund will be applied to my credit card within few days. 10 days later still no credit was given. After calling Realtor.com and spending 45 minutes waiting for the customer service, I was told that now they will take care of it within a few days and I was given yet another confirmation number. When I emailed the original finance department person, I got a nasty reply back. When I politely called him on the issue not being solved I did not even get an acknowledgment back.
So now, two weeks after my request to cancel the membership and get a full refund, which they said that they will grant me with no problem, I had to call my credit card and dispute this transaction. If Realtor.com can do this to 500 agents country-wide and hold on to their money for an extended period of time, they are making good interest and the use of it for free. Bad business practice. Not a way to treat your customers and like that. And to think that they work for us, the Realtors. I feel ashamed of being a member of that organization.

Realtor.com drop down menus do not function properly. Some days you can choose the price of the home you wish to find; other days you cannot. If you change the location you are searching even if it's the next town over, you have to reenter the price of the home, but the drop down often just stops working. Now you can't choose the home price for a particular location. If you are on the site for a long period of time, it locks up. I suggest prospective buyers fact check the data on this site, the locations of the homes on the map feature are often not the actual home and you have to find them. The tax data is sometimes not current and should be checked with the appropriate county.
Often the HMO fees for condos and townhomes are listed as zero when they are often up to around $350 a month, so that data is faulty. If you select for example, "hardwood floors" be prepared to miss houses you may be interested in because it appears the site doesn't check the home information closely enough. If you want to use this site, make sure you double check the data against other realtor Websites such as Trulia, Zillow or Redfin and you will get a much clearer perspective on a home's details. Also if you use Realtor.com to find a realtor your phone will ring and multiple realtors will call you with varying results. Suggest you find a realtor in the area you are interested in, a referral from a friend is best in my opinion.

The opening image is so misleading it could be considered fraudulent. the description of the property is also misleading, making one think that this property has a water view, which it hardly did, unless you want to consider a trench from the house linking it to the city sewer system. Now that is the superb comment on the copy writing of the listing!" Realtor.com should verify properties and copy to make sure that listing such as this one never see the expanses of cyberspace. Our experience with this listing was so horrifying that I gave no stars, but CA requires at least one star to submit the review. :-)

I have been checking Realtor.com for different areas around the country, using their listing information for homes in different areas to help me make a decision about where to move. When in today to check a couple of areas I was considering to see how housing prices were holding up, etc. What a disappointment that was. They use to provide not only a picture and a price but information on the neighborhood area, schools, shopping areas, eateries, taxes and so on... No longer. All I got when I went in was a picture, a price, how many bedrooms, baths... And a bar that I could click on to contact the Realtor who had the home/apt/condo for sale/rent. So, it's bye bye to Realtor.com. I won't waste my time using them again.
I'll go back to the old fashion way... Traveling to the place I'm considering, driving around the different neighborhoods, talking to folks who lived there... This is something I would have done before I bought/rented anyway... But I wouldn't have had to make a trip just to find out if the area might work for me. Just wanted to warn folks that they have changed for the worst and the marvelous information you could get before you traveled to an area you were interested in... They no longer provide.

They show the home, the details, the price and everything you will need. You can search and find what is not on the site you are looking for. They are usually very good for saying it is pending, sold and still on the market for you. If pending and you want it just write your offer.

User friendly and very supportive. Had many options and filters to narrow your options. Had several link options outside of their website that were additionally helpful. I think this site is useful for both sellers and buyers. Loads of options and filters can be created to open up the viewing options for their properties to more buyers. The website was very thorough with options and true availability for the viewers of the website. Many useful links also offered that accompanies the sell or purchase of a home. Very thorough and up to date website reflecting properties and listings available. Also gives many filter options to narrow down most recent posts or dollar amount filters along with many other options.

Yes supportive of sellers, as well as consumers at the same time. Site maintains positive description and feedback on the sellers to ensure consumer's peace of mind when strongly considering a certain home for purchase. Realtor.com definitely launched a quality site for new and old homeowners/purchasing a new home. Not too wordy, includes pertinent information in a simple description. Quality over quantity. I have no concern or complaints regarding the accuracy of this site. All information appears to be up to date, current stats and photos included. I didn't have to write questions or concerns down regarding a property, everything is already provided.

Very descriptive information. Good pictures of the homes. Multiple realtors to choose from. I've used it several times over the years. I've never sold anything on realtor.com but I'm assuming the support is really good, people continue to use the website. The quality of the site can only be as good as the homes listed. The site was very accurate. The addresses and home information have always been spot on and the agents information has been correct. Never a problem.

There's a lot but not with the standards this company has on selling. Right on what you are selling. Will give you spot on prices and quotes and you never have to worry it may be wrong. Easily navigated and generally has a lot of pictures. Good search tools. It seems to be unbiased and includes rental and purchase options for many properties. I have not personally used the site as a seller but it was very useful to me as a home buyer. I'd imagine that the ease of use is similar. It's a well laid out website. I enjoy looking at homes and this site is helpful for that. I'd love a free house. I have found listings to be up to date and accurate. I sent a listing to my realtor and rented that home the next day. I enjoy using the site and tools.

The site was very supportive for sellers. It was pretty easy to list what you needed and they had places to help if you was unsure on what you were doing. I'd say the quality of the site was really good. I didn't have any issues with anything. Everything was self-explanatory and wasn't hard. The listings were all current and up to date. The interface is slick and easy to use; I can look for homes easily just by entering my zip code and filtering the results. Although I have not found a house yet, I can search from various realtors to find what I am looking for. The website seems to be very supportive to sellers, showing the prices and making it easy to sort through the different types of houses. They want you to succeed and do well with the website; it seems easy to setup. The results that I get are easy and clear to differentiate. I can easily use it and I am not too worried about getting a bad result. The website seems to describe everything very well and it is very clear. The site wasn't very user-friendly. I kept having to refresh pages, had the site crash on me, and slow loading times. It was harder to find certain pieces of information on this website compared to other local websites or apps. I visited the website as a buyer, but had so many problems with the website and the filters, that I don't imagine it would be helpful for sellers. The pictures on the website were great, but the filters would not work, so I couldn't narrow down my choices. That is poor quality to me, because it is not helpful to consumers. All listings that I found were seeming to be current and up-to-date, but I couldn't search for houses on a specific street name, making it very hard to find houses in specific areas and neighborhoods, which is not very accurate to me.

The site was easy to log into, set up my preferences and stay connected to new listings. They offered numerous inside pictures so that I actually knew whether I wanted to take the time to go see. Great service. The site was supportive towards sellers, it put their property in its best light and made a buyer eager to continue searching the site. The site was clearly defined and navigation was a breeze. The one thing I do like in realtor sites is actual video. I know it probably isn't going to happen, but that would be great. As with all Realtors the way the pictures are taken is to show the property in its best light, however, various angles used and the way the final picture is presented can be misleading, but overall, this site was good.

Realtor.com is an easy site to use, loads quickly and offers a huge selection of home listings to view. It also offers features that are very helpful such as saving listings for future reference and filters that enable you to target specific features you are seeking. Realtor.com enables sellers to reach a wide online audience. Sellers can list their home with plenty of room for a description of the features and they have the opportunity to add a large number of photos. This is my "go to" site because it offers all the information I need. Unlike some annoying sites, you do not have to register in order to use the site.
