Vector was recommended - as they were a guest at a Block Watch meeting. Very informative, low pressure and were very informative. Install was thorough & professional. They even cleaned up after themselves, answered all our questions and did a full orientation.

Kevin was very helpful with the installation. Ask him to add on a separate alarm for an emergency exit was very pleasant in his response to that, explained the Alarm.com app and website. Was the original installer of the first alarm system and was very pleased to see him show up this morning.

Had for a long time. Always works well and is easy to operate. The phone wait time seemed to be very long. This happened each time that I called Vector. I will continue to use Vector even with all the other options that are available to me.

John came and set my time and showed me how to use the playback option. He is always very informative and quick to help us out! He always does a wonderful job and answers all of our questions. We really appreciate what a great job he does!

Your company is a rip off. And I only hope I have the opportunity to let people know what a rip off you are. And I will take every opportunity to tell people not to use your company. I CALLED TO TALK TO CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WAS PASSED AROUND TO 4 DIFFERENT PERSONS. AND WHAT A SCAM YOUR COMPANY IS.

We chose Vector due to their options they provided. I also like speaking to a live person when I call. Our service guy that moved our dvr box was very nice. I wish our bill was cheaper. The technician was professional. Thank you for making me feel safer.

I sent Brian ** an email and he resolved the problem immediately. I was very impressed. One of the cameras in my store quit functioning. That camera is probably the most important one as it tells me how busy my employees are at any given moment.

I chose Vector based on referral from my neighbors. The customer service is excellent! However, Vector prices are more than the competitors. So more incentives need to be added to gain customers and keep them. I left the company because of pricing and came back because of the customer service. I am always comparing prices with the competitor and the cameras and other equipment are overpriced! I am on a very tight budget so I don't know how long I can keep up with Vector.

I chose Vector due to a family friend referring it to me. I have had a couple problems With the system like bad switch and modem issues however the technician arrived on time and hopefully has resolved it. He looked professional and introduced himself with his vector security card.

Chime would not go off on one of the two systems. Vector Security installed my system two years ago; this was the first call I've had to make to them. We were able to identify the problem via the phone, which saved them a trip to my house. I am sure the problem was minor.

Great. Showed up and was very helpful with our system. When scheduling the service they were very prompt to get something scheduled. The tech made sure to communicate to us what he was doing and when he completed the job that was done.

We have been a customer for awhile. Very happy with the service. Got great information from the reps at the home show. We were interested in cameras and are an upgrade and with all the new information we are strongly considering it.

I was in Center City Philadelphia Tuesday and received a call from Vector Security. The sensor in the living room triggered an alarm. Because I did not immediately answer my cell phone, Vector called the police (per my agreement with Vector). The Philadelphia police opened the Vector key box and entered my house. There was no evidence anyone had been in the house.

We've been a Vector customer for I'm thinking it's around 28 years and we are very pleased with the Service we receive. We asked for information on an upgrade to our system and the sales rep had a lot of information for us at the Home Show.

One of my kids locked themselves out of the house. It's a long story, but she was in a panic. I needed help so that an adult could get back into the house (my wife and I were out of town). Vector provided that help - quickly and calmly. They are great and they did everything I could have hoped. I recommend them very highly. The alarm system is easy to use and very reliable.

I chose Vector because three house already had the equipment. After getting my consultation I knew I wanted to move forward with Vector because of the sales rep. My experience during my installation has been awesome. I would recommend a friend for Vector.

The technician was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in helping me change our passcode. The technician had a quick answer and followed through until the end. Phone was answered in a timely manner. Verification process was thorough. Technician was happy, articulate and polite.

Extremely poor customer service. I canceled my service on Feb 2nd but still got charged on Feb 24th. I know Vector received my request to cancel the account because I received a call on Feb 22nd referencing my letter. I had to call back on Feb 24th and wait on hold for several minutes (after being on a long hold during my initial call to cancel my account) and then I got stupid excuses as to why my account was not canceled. One excuse was that they could not cancel my account unless I told them the name of the company I am switching to. I was with your company for around 12 years. Canceling my account should not be this hard. I gave you every opportunity to match the price but it is your loss that you did not do anything about it and prompted me to cancel my service. It shouldn't have been such an unpleasant experience to just cancel my service. I am giving you 1 star because there is no option for 0 stars.

Vector was recommended by a family member who has been a loyal customer for 8 years. My experience with the Vector staff is that they were very pleasant and true professionals. I appreciated their on-time service. Good, good, good.

Originally because it was cell phone friendly but I am very satisfied with everything about it. The staff I have dealt with have been excellent. Feel very confident that if I have any issues I will be able to get quick assistance.

Current bill is 49.99. Was told going to be 39.99 a month. ADT offers more services for that same price. I went with Vector thinking I could save some money... yes well we learn from trial and error... Otherwise satisfied with the service I suppose.

Darrin was excellent! He was very professional and kind. Very pleasant and easy to understand. He explained everything he was doing. This was one of the best experiences I have ever had with a Vector Security employee. If I ever need assistance in my home again, please send Darrin. He is not just an employee, I can see that he is an asset to your company.

Samantha was very nice and she said someone would call me very shortly to discuss this excessive bill for 5 min repair. I had a door replaced and our contractor couldn't get the sensor placed back on the door. I called Vector and a service person came out and put it back up. It took him about 5 minutes. A charge was not discussed at any time. I receive a bill for $85.00!! This is excessive. We have been customers for a LONG time... feels like Vector is in the business of making excessive $$ off their customers.

The technician Chris called on his way to give me eta of when he would be there and arrived on time. He was very thorough and knowledgeable. He was very patient to explain what needed to be done. I highly recommend vector to all my friends.

We have been trying to replace two fobs for a month. We have the fobs but they are not programmed, so they are useless. Your billing does not acknowledge the two checks I have sent and that have cleared our bank. Your billing includes a service call we never got. I would have given you less than one star if it was possible.

Today we had a visit from Chris and Dave. They were here to do a check up on the system in the building. We have police, fire and even a carbon monoxide detector that I never knew was here. They explained what it sounds like and how the pad will beep if we are in danger (nice to know). They were professional and very thorough in doing the job and let us know what to expect during the testing. The fire things were very loud. I never heard them before. Thank you to the company and Dave and Chris for doing a great job! We here at Craig Thomas protect home and property it's nice to deal with a company that does the same thing.

This was my first service call on them. Technician was very knowledgeable and helpful and help me solve a current situation that I'm having with my system and talk to me a little bit about cameras. The technician also explain to me what he did to update my system in detail. He was also very careful to clean his mess up and keep my floor clean. Cleaning he also offered to follow-up to make sure that I have a salesman contact me about cameras that I'm interested in. The technician was very neat in his appearance and very friendly.

We inherited Vector when they purchased Cain. I have been very satisfied with your materials and service. Today Mr. Don ** has performed all relevant tests to correct our misbehaving window sensor. He was on time and very professional, seems well qualified, and is friendly.

We called in for a question about telephone lines and how they affected our security system... I forgot my word for my password and a very courteous service girl was patient with me and verified me with other information on our account. She answered my questions very quickly and efficiently.

The sensors in the office window were too sensitive causing false alarms. Your technician, Leo, came right on time the next morning after the day of my request and fixed the problem and checked the system to be sure everything else was working correctly.

Builder recommended Vector Security. My only interaction was with Agata ** who provided explicit instructions on how to obtain a permit from the Sheriff's office and efficiently added the permit number to our account. Installation and activation were also efficient and helpful.

Vector is going to upgrade my old equipment for me. It's going to be a wireless color touch screen. I can use my phone to turn my system on and off. Micky my sales rep gets an A+ for his efforts today. Vector gets an A+ for their quick response time when the alarm goes off. Thank you.

This appointment was good, and very thorough. Apparently not just one of my sensors is registering a bad signal, but a glass break is as well. The technician did a full investigation of all sensors in the home and diagnosed each one to determine where the problems were.

One of the services is the Yale Touchscreen Dead Bolt Lock which really meets our needs. Since I have young children it's good to know they can come to the house without using a key. I have been a customer of Vector Security for over 10 years. We were updating our system. The installer was very professional. He completed the install quickly and explained what he was doing every step of the way. He assisted me with the online setup and also with the app on my phone. He explained and demonstrated the new key pad as well as the new key fobs. He answered any questions I had. I was very satisfied with the installer.

I called to see how to deactivate a key fob at one of our locations. The representative Kelly was very helpful and she even went the extra mile to send me an email with all of our key fobs that are listed with your company.

Love the glass break. It helps with windows getting broken but it's not set right for a dog's bark. Best. Was a great company for the price and they come quickly. Sometimes they don't get a hold of me or my daughter if it wasn't an emergency.

My son, Shaun ** has had Vector for maybe 2-3 years and he kept telling me how happy they were with their system and the service and that I should get a system with Vector. I also ask friends who they use and I got a lot of negative responses from them about their systems, nothing negative about Vector. Most all of them had different companies and they were very unhappy. A few of them had Vector and were very happy so, with that feedback and getting all the positive feedback from my son and daughter in law, it was really an easy decision.

We've had a wonderful experience in our last 3 years with Vector. We feel very safe & protected with our system and always recommend you. We particularly like that if the alarm accidentally goes off your staff makes sure everything is ok.

Door bell issues - Bell inside house was not working with the video bell. Technicians resolved issue and restored full performance after several minor problems had to be addressed and resolved. Technicians did an outstanding job dealing with a legacy system in our home.

System provided with house when built. Installation and features were tailored very nicely to the house design. Since 1999, we have always been very comfortable and confident in the system and the annual servicing provided by Vector. The monitoring has always been very responsive sending the appropriate emergency services as indicated by the alarm system.

Vector called me to schedule a carbon monoxide inspection. I called them back and made an appointment. It took a while to make the appointment which I found to be strange. The woman said it was because they had to order parts. The parts are carbon monoxide detectors which I would assume are a in stock item.

The Vector Security System was installed in my new home back in 2003. My alarm went off at almost 1am a few days/nights ago. There was a concern about the basement motion detector being disalarmed (as I had asked last service). Anyway, I needed my system reviewed - I received excellent service during this call - concern for my issue, and what I really appreciated is the young lady put me on hold for a brief moment and was able to arrange for an appointment for me the next day - I was concerned for my safety here alone. Thank you for caring about my issue and for recommending speaking to sales regarding additional safeguards... highly recommend.

Have long since forgotten who, but some friend recommended Vector Security to us. Truly wished we had contacted them before now. Sales presentation was complete, no questions unanswered, installation was timely and as requested. This was simply the service not found in today's run-of-the-mill business practice. Can't say enough about having an up to date security system that is simply easy to operate. NO complaints.

Scott was very helpful. It took a long time to replace our outdated hard connected driveway alert, especially since Vector no longer digs trenches for wires, but Scott eventually found a wireless system that would work at our location. He was here several times trying out new alternative systems that usually would not work. Eventually he found one that worked and it is doing fine. We appreciate his time in searching for the one that worked!

We were existing customers and wanted to upgrade our system. Great job on the installation, but I'm still having trouble getting my camera notification settings just right. I probably need to schedule time for someone to help me with my settings.

Initially I had no intentions of getting a security system. It was suggested by the rental office. After speaking with Mickey, I could not say no. He gave the benefits of having the system, and his sense of humor was the best! His customer service was awesome!!

I had a problem with my system and everyone was that helped me was so pleasant to deal with. First the woman I talked to on the phone said there was a problem with my keypad, then she figured it was something else and called me back to explain. I was going to be scheduled for a few days out. I signed on with Vector about thirty years ago. I had just purchased my home and was looking for a company that would insure the safety of my family as we[l as my home. I found that safety with Vector.

I requested certificate for the insurance company. I called on Monday and Agata mailed it to me the same day but the mail was slow so Agata offered to send it to me by e-mail and stayed on the phone until I confirmed the receipt. Excellent service! Very quick, very considered and very efficient!

The installation upgrade was quick and easy, no problems at all. Jim was great. He made sure we understood how to use the new system before he left. Looks great and it is much simpler to use than the old system. The new system will save me $100 a month. We are very pleased with the upgrade.

Jeremy installed a camera & recording box. I had the security system installed when I finally left my abusive husband in September. I recently dropped the restraining order so I had the camera installed 2-16-17 for my continued safety. He did an excellent job, very informative! I'm very happy with this system!

The price of monthly service from Vector is very competitive. Vector provides excellent service and phone/email inquiries provide immediate feedback and service scheduling. I have been very happy with the excellent price for the service. The personnel I have dealt with at Vector are all very easy to deal with and strive to provide answers to my questions.

Had the guys from Vector here for the yearly check. This was one of the most thorough inspections I've seen. They went from top to bottom checking all the smoke detectors and motion sensors, changed all the batteries, and made sure the sirens worked as well. Very happy with the service today. When we purchased our first home we chose Vector as our security company. We were pleased overall however after several years and numerous referrals to others we no longer felt like valued customers so we switched to ADT. We had been satisfied until we had the opportunity to recently sit down with Mr. ** and hear all about the advances in technology at Vector and hear his sincere desire to win us back to Vector. He expressed his gratitude to my husband for being an active duty service member and was just an all around very nice guy. He assured us that we wouldn't be disappointed if we switched back. Well, we didn't sign any paperwork that day but we plan to. After discussing it with my husband we both thought that Vector must be doing something right to have this kind of guy on their team. I chose Vector Security because my daughter had it in Virginia while she was in military. It worked great. So she encouraged me to get Vector. I did and live the service. Nothing like ADT. Had them for years and kept going up on price. Service wasn't the greatest. So when Vector came to SC I jumped on it. Love the service and the customer care services. Thank you.

I chose Vector after soliciting security system feedback from people I work with. Brad and Jessica ** recommended Vector. Kevin was an excellent sales person to the point we signed the evening he was at our house. We have contemplated a security system for years; however, we have always wavered because of the monthly cost and other unknowns. Kevin answered everything and we feel we are getting everything we need. We are reluctant about the monthly cost as everyone around us is paying less, a lot less for what appears to be the same monitoring and functionality so we do question that but we will see.

I purchased a new door and I am having a problem with consistency with the alert on that door. I have to bypass to set alarm at times. I need for this to be consistent and not have to bypass that door, it's the main door used.

I chose Vector Security at first because it came with my house, but when it was time to upgrade I returned to Vector because of the service. Both the command center and technicians are excellent. I would recommend them highly, and will continue to use them.

We have a service plan with Vector. Our technician today actually sold us the plan about 2 years ago. Great decision for us. Steve always goes beyond the "have to" and checks other things. Love our service and the ease of scheduling. Had service in 24 hours from our call.

During visit for false alarm problems, technician informed of eligibility for upgrade and conditions of acceptance. I later spoke with office support employee who called me and accepted the upgrade. Nick was extremely competent in repairing the false alarm problem and in installing new alarm box. He is courteous, competent and friendly.

Alarm system would not reset and repeatedly beeped between time intervals after a modem failure due to Tower Signal disruption? This is the second episode within 1-2 months in which I had to call Tech support to reset the system---the first time the alarm system failed, it was 1-2 am in the morning. I've had my current system for at least over a year and recently began having this problem. Tech support is great---friendly and quickly resolved problem---just wish the modem would not do what it's doing.

Recently I had problems with the door alarms and I forgot the master code. Not to mention that I had lost all my documentation. Chris ** was the technician who came to fix the problems. My wife and I were glad he knew everything that we needed to know and much more. He gave us a lot of instructions about our system plus additional information on security and how to stay safe even with the added security of an alarm system. The first repairman only replaced battery in alert necklace. A little while later another tech came out and changed the battery in the wrist alert. When the first repairman came out, he should have changed the battery in both devices so I wouldn't be charged twice.

There was a "little" problem with the phone line here which necessitated my phone call today. This issue was corrected via a phone call, much to my happiness! The technician with whom I spoke was knowledgeable and walked me through the reset. When we were disconnected as the phone line reset, your representative called back to ascertain that the adjustments were made and that everything was working as designed. Our experience with the service call today was exceptionally. The tech checked out our concerns and assessed the potential problem. We had concerns because this was the first consistent problem we had that took time to locate so that we were not able to set the alarm. Had an unauthorized entry into cars and needed to see if the images were captured on video. Only to find out they were not set to pick up motion on trigger events. The tech helped me to change the settings and we should be good to go.
