Showed up on time as scheduled, ran through the plans for the service today. He went above and beyond to complete the task, he used his manners, was very professional and polite, he even asked for a vacuum to clean behind himself after he was done. I was very impressed with his services today.

Living room sensor battery was low also key fob, tech came in and replaced batteries and made sure that the panel was ok and that they were once again linked. Extremely professional even though my little dog wasn't very happy. Other than the dog everything went well like always.

The install went well, the tech was on time, knowledgeable, professional, and honest. He explained the system, the apps, the options and took the time to explain it again to my wife. He was very patient. It was great, awesome, amazing, valuable, as well as pretty important as far as the safety of my wife, kids and visitors to my home. Long time Vector customer here. Had an issue with my system beeping when my phone rang and couldn’t figure out why so I called to make an appointment and they sent out Allan ** to fix the issue. Allan was determined to figure out what was going on and he did in a very timely manner. Very happy customer here.

I chose Vector Security because the builder we were working with about twenty years ago Recommended Vector Security. My interactions with Vector Security have been good. Over the course of twenty years Vector Security technicians have been out to service our alarm about 4 or 5 times.

Terry provided wonderful customer service. He had called our office with his estimated arrival time and promptly arrived within twenty minutes. He was very nice and very knowledgeable, explaining our issue and the necessary steps to have the issue corrected. He had corrected our issue very quickly.

I got Vector alarm after trying to use the existing ADT alarm that was in the house I bought. ADT didn't upgrade the alarm that was already there which was very old. Vector salespeople were in our neighborhood walking from door to door and offered an update so I agreed and got installed - not had any problems except for a low battery. All has been great so far. We are looking to update alarm again with Vector in the future.

Updated on 10/04/2021: Vector has been our home security Experts since 2017 and there is no other Company like them. Their Technicians are skilled and experienced and today’s technicians service was exceptional. He Analyzed the system and it’s firmware for any issues that may have occurred. When done; our system was up and running. Great job indeed!!

We picked Vector after seeing other neighbors With the service and they spoke highly of your company. We haven't had any major issues or concerns in the years of using the company and we are strongly considering an upgrade to the new model as recommended from (Dexter) the service tech. I have a problem with the cameras being triggered everytime the wind blows. My service technician came and readjust the cameras to make sure the cameras only record when it is suppose to record. He did a great job testing every camera.

We had a contractor in to work in our grange. We left him working while we went to work. An hour and a half later his was going into our house. Vector not only called the police but called me on the job to let me know what was going on. Needless to say he never worked for us again. My wife loves the peace on mind she gets when she turned it on. I'm away a lot and our backyard is a wooded area so back door security was a big concern for her and now she sleeps great now.

Always happy with the service. We Recently had issues regarding our Remote access not working properly. The tech went thru several troubleshooting measures and decided that a new Module was needed. After having had to reschedule due to renovations we were back online. All devices were reprogrammed accordingly.

I chose Vector Security because The company I had previously was purchased by Vector Security. I have never really had a problem with Vectors customer service. However, the last time I called I had a problem getting through, I was on hold for a long time.

He was able to quickly troubleshoot the problem and determine a solution along with collaborated with me on the repair work of moving the sensor on my patio door. My interactions with the tech today (Chris) was very good. Chris arrived exactly at the time he had indicated with a phone call an hour prior to his arrival. Overall, through my years with Vector, I've been pleased however, I do wonder about the level of monitoring now (the last couple of years). The reason for that is, when I have even a false alarm (where I may accidentally set off the alarm), no one calls to check. That honestly causes some alarm.

We did not choose Vector Security. Vector Security bought out the company we were with that gave personalized, quick service. Vector Security has a lot to live up to. So far it has been challenging with our initial interactions. Hopefully it will get better.

I called Vector and they had an analyst here in a couple days. They acknowledged I had an issue, explained what happened and resolved it immediately. Based on web customer reviews, referral from Comcast. During initial consultation sales rep explained everything in detail, didn't pressure me in any way, didn't pressure me for things I didn't need. The installer was very nice, arrived on time, and explained everything in great detail. Took the time to answer all of my questions. And also go over and review with me several times until I felt educated.

Damned great professional service and knowledge. Could not ask for better technician. Meji showed his badge before entering my home. He explained everything and demonstrated how the new fob worked. You should give Meji a Huge raise and a promotion!!!

I called 90 days prior to my 5 year contract ending. The customer service rep told me I would have to pay the last 3 months to complete my contract. I agreed and understood, but wanted to cancel early so it didn't renew. So I did. Then 60 days after the term ended I got a bill for over $700 for canceling a renewed contract. I called customer service and they told me it didn't get canceled, so it auto-renewed. This is completely dishonest. I have spoken with managers and no one is willing to give good customer service.

I called to replace a battery and Allen found and fixed two other issues. Great service, Allen explained possible wireless upgrades. Will probably upgrade soon, thanks to Allen my system is back up and running again and I feel comfortable arming my system.

Notified by Vector that my card on file wasn't working. Called To let me know. Nice and courteous. Rep for Vector was able to straighten things out and to make sure that this would not happen again next month. Excellent customer service.

I had smoke from my fireplace. The alarms needed to be cleaned of smoke. The tech explained how to manually reset my alarm and also replaced my keypad which was going bad. The tech was very professional and very helpful.

Batteries needed replacing. Had to wait for several days for a service rep. Dislike email notifications of alarm failure only. On October 23, 2017, I had an alarm installed. I received a phone call on November 5, 2017 around 9:00 a.m. that my basement door was open. I was not aware that the door was opened until I received a text message and phone call at the same time. The following day, I contacted the representative and was told that a piece of equipment was not installed. I was scheduled for a install the following Friday. I called 1-800-688-0150 and was on hold, after 12 minutes I hung-up the phone. Today, November 13, 2017 I called the Columbia MD office and was able to speak with someone after being on hold for 24 minutes. Their only resolve was to provide credit and reschedule. At this point, I have a useless alarm system that can not protect my family. A credit is not a substitute for safety. Please help.

Tech arrived early to repair issue at hand. Tech was very professional! Handle issue accordingly! He even went the extra mile and rerouted the wire to the transformer so that it would no longer remove from the outlet, this was an occurring issue that other techs failed to remedy... this wasn’t the main reason why I called. PERFECT.

Window sensor inoperable in Living Room - My interaction with Meji was great. He was very thorough in diagnosing our possible problems as well as repairing them. I had an old system, dating back to 1994 that was taken over by Mac Hammond in 2003. It functioned well but didn't have any current day features. After being approached by another firm seeking my business, I ultimately decided to upgrade my system and stay with you. To be certain you are not price competitive, so it was a tough decision to make. Nonetheless, Ricardo came to "convert" the old system and install the new one. Neither you, he nor I understood how complicated it would be. He was amazingly patient and thorough, always had a pleasant smile and demeanor as he worked through the complex rewiring and installation.

Today's service was great. Past service not very good. Was more focused on the Upsell than finding and solving problem at hand. Recent call to customer care was troubling as well. Operator told me I did not have a problem because issue was not showing up on her monitor. Next day I called a different customer care agent and he said he saw problem on his monitor and would send someone out to fix.

On November 1, 2017, I called the operator to direct me to the person/person in charge of issuing the EVENT HISTORY REPORT. After a few transfers, I finally was able to express my concern namely the printouts for July, August, September and October 2017. The order was taken and promised to e-mail to me. Due to no response, I called, Dee Dee as was recommended by Mr. ** if I ever had any problem. And he was right again. Dee Dee said that I would hear from them the same afternoon. Mr. ** was right again. The same afternoon I received the EVENT HISTORY REPORT that I requested earlier. The report was the best ever received from the office and I hope that the future monthly report will be as clear and organized. In addition I will give kudos to Dolores ** for an excellent job providing me with the report I requested.

Everyone is so helpful and friendly... especially Ricky **. He has been so helpful by explaining the systems and pricing as well as being able to schedule service times that work for me! Ricky real made the whole experience so easy. I have been with this company for years now and thought about changing but there is no other company that is as friendly and easy to work with.

Vector Security took over our security system. We were offered upgrade as well as introducing themselves to us as customers. John was very professional and explained process as performed, helping us to understand system. We are pleased and reassured that these improvements have been offered.

The reason I choose Vector was because I've heard good thing about their service and alarm system. Install was a breeze and all my other contacts from my previous alarm company was compatible with this system so I didn't have to buy all my other stuff again, which was great! I had have Vector since my house was first built 14 years ago. The system has worked well for me and given me peace of mind. When there have been issues with the system they are quick to come out and fix it. I feel I am getting good value based on what I pay and the service I receive. The technician I saw today was very helpful and makes me want to continue with Vector.

Two days ago I called Vector because my home monitor system was saying that there was an issue with a window. I was told by the first representative that the battery needed to be replaced. I was informed of the battery size was two AAA per contact, which I questioned because they seemed that they would be too large to fit in the contact. Doubting the size I again called back and spoke with Roy **. I did not obtain the name of the first representative. Roy researched my battery for me and gave me the correct battery that we would need as well as sending me a link to an online source where I could purchase them. He explained to me the process if we wanted to replace them ourselves and instructions on how to bypass the window until the battery was replaced.

I just wanted to thank the guys from Vector for hooking me up! I have Vector at my business and my other house and was happy to add it to the new house! Thank you for making me feel better about being able to leave my house without having to worry about getting broken into!!

I chose Vector Security because of all the reviews I read and the fact that you do not advertise. I thought the salesperson was nice, we were very clear with what we expected and what we wanted in a security system. However, when it came to our sales person lied out his ass and sold us nothing close to what we wanted. Your service installers are all amazing, professional guys (Frank, Rich, Jeff) but your sales person is terrible. We are very unhappy with the system we were sold. Please discuss this with your sales team.

Meji did change the batteries for our main front lock and two thermostats. He was able to address all my questions about the system including cameras set up. He did a very good work and even went above and beyond to help me change my secure network for camera.

I was a Vector customer until the beginning of the year. We had a fire and had to discontinue service at the home. Everything has been repaired and we finally got to have Vector come back and put it back together. My techs were great and even came a day early which worked out very well. I had issues with customer service but the technician was great and resolved all issues. I have used Vector for 14 years and have always been pleased. But this time I had significant difficulty with customer service scheduling my appt. My alarm was beeping and I had to wait weeks for my appt which they would not change.

Service guy was neat. Did a good job. Put signs up. Told me about other services. Was polite. Put shoe covers on. Cleaned his mess up. Gave me some stickers. Wanted to make sure I was totally happy. I will recommend Vector always. I love them very much.
