    I purchased a Midea washing machine July 2023 and it started flashing an E64 code only after 7 months of owning. The repairman has been out numerous times to try and replace the parts that the tech people say is wrong with it. In fact, I have had a new motor and 2 (same) control boards replaced and guess what IT STILL DOESN'T WORK. The repairman has had difficulty getting a hold of a tech person who can tell or send the right part. I will say the times I have contacted the warranty department they will speak with you, but if you work long hours you will have to stress to them to contact you via email otherwise you will receive a slew of calls. I am spending more money out of pocket just to go to the laundromat to get my laundry done, something I should not have to be doing. I would highly encourage you to purchase a different washing machine.

    I do not like this washer, waste of money. If I want to wash a small load it fill with more water than needed. Spinning takes too long. I will never purchase this brand again. Please don't let the salesman sell it to you.

    If there were 0 stars that's what I would give. Nothing but trouble from the start. The cheap lid broke with 6 months, the drain hose started leaking and can't seem to order one. Parts are impossible to find even with professionals looking. Cheap, cheapest cheap. Do not buy.

    First set washer was scratched when we unboxed it and the dryer made a weird noise after second use. Second set one of the washer or dryer is ripping clothes. Had at least 6 item ripped since receiving the new washer and dryer. Nothing but issues with this brand.

    Purchased a MIDEA Top Load washer from our local LOWES in Gaithersburg MD 2 years ago. It came Highly recommend by the Lowe's appliances person. WHAT a MAJOR mistake that turned out to be. Unit broke within the first 6 months and was forced to use a Appliance repairperson to take it apart and put it back together again. Unit worked for another 6 months and then the actuator motor messed and once again contacted the local appliance repair person who informed us that MIDEA wouldn't honor replacing any parts for the Top loader and couldn't anyway since they discontinued manufacturing the motor required. The whole nightmare purchase costed us -$800+. Total waste of time and there's NO real Midea USA customer support. Buy a high-end Whirlpool instead.

    Customer Service referred me to local repair man who charged $109.00 service fee to tell me the unit was junk and that the company needed to replace it. Midea refused to do anything saying the 1 year warranty was out and the 3 month extension expired as well they refused to let me talk to a supervisor or management. I’ll never buy another midea appliance from Lowe’s/Home Depot.

    I purchased a washer and dryer set from Lowe's in May 25, 2021. Once delivered, the installation was completed on 6/1/2021. During the 1st year I experience a slight noise, here and there, but thinking this was somewhat normal as the noise continued here and there. On August 31, 2023 the washer started making a terrible noise, I stopped using the unit and called the manufacturer. They asked us to video the noise and send it to them and we never hear back from them. We called them about a week later, and we told it was out a warranty. They referred us to one of their factory repair service companies, that turned out to have a 1-star review with poor service history.

    After paying the service call fee (which is all fine) it turns out that the transmission assembly needed to be replaced and that would cost approx $800.00 to repair. So the unit isn't repairable, and not having confidence in this service company, we hired another company to confirm the problem, in which they recommended replacing the washer as the cost of repairs would exceed the cost of a new washer. It's not OK for a 2 year old washer to be not repairable. The cost of repairs was so high because of its design and access to the transmission/motor assembly. Back in 2016, Midea had great reviews, but all reviews after Jan. 2000 to current reviews have been 1 star reviews. Do Not Buy without an extended warranty, or Do Not BUY at all. Lemon Law - Class action claim is recommended. Please contact me at **, if you're interested.

    Bought a matching Midea washer and dryer set from Lowe's in Dec 2022. Do not buy!!! The dryer door said reversible and this is why I decided to purchased. Dryer is leaking on the bottom leg. The wash machine completely shut down with one problem after another. They are replacing the washer but going to try and fix the dryer. I paid for a matching set. I want a matching set. We didn't pay for mismatched appliances. They are a very hard company to deal with and give you nothing but the runaround.

    I purchased a washer and dryer set from the Navy base Exchange in January 2022. I am using the washer and dryer in a second home so I only use every couple weeks. The first few washes seemed okay. Then I began to realize that the washer took so long to fill. It would shut itself off and give an error code that translated into it shut down because it took too long to fill. I would restart. I figured I was using the wrong setting. Finally, within a few weeks I realized that the water was draining out like it was at the end of the cycle at the same time it was filling.

    Called customer service and as luck would have it, it is now out of warranty. Told me to call the nearest “authorized repair” company and gave me the phone number. Turned out they are 70-80 miles away! I did not call because I am smart enough to realize that any repair company is going to charge pretty steep fees to travel 70+ miles to look at a broken washing machine not to mention the actual cost of repair, IF it can be repaired. Seems like parts are not always accessible either. Still sitting there unused. I guess I’ll have to have it hauled off and buy a more reputable brand. Dryer - so far it works fine - “knock on wood” as they say. Please, please avoid this brand. From reading reviews I would say you have got a 50-50 chance that you will get a unit that is not defective.

    Never ever buy anything from this company. No results. Just the run around. My dryer worked one time and has not worked. I have had the runaround from customer service. I called Lowe’s and it was 72 hours so they said they could not take the return because it must be within 48 hours. I just want my money back at this point. I don’t trust this company.

    Bought the set on sale, that is where the positives ended. Water saving is a joke, most of the clothes don't even get wet. Every load my family has washed we have had to rebalance mid wash. Waste of time and money!!!

    We bought a Midea washing/dryer... We haven't had them for about a year. The washing machine inlet valve is leaking we have tried to buy a replacement part, but I guess they don't have them anymore, tried calling the number that Lowe's gave us for part service... They were NO HELP!!! And now the barrings need replacing sound like a jet when in the spinning cycle. Will never buy a Midea brand ever again!!!

    Absolutely the worst. Washer broke in 3 weeks. Had it fixed and now 4 months in, broke again. Will take a repair man a week to come out. That's before he orders parts. Unbelievable. I have had washers that go years and never break. What a waste of money....piece of crap. I asked for a replacement, doubt I will hear back.

    Bought a Midea washing machine 12/2019. Told that a two-year warranty only. Now has problem with spinning charges. Most likely be more than half worth of the washing machine model mfc90-s1407b 9kg (probably 8kg). Very disappointed. Won't recommend.

    I have an air conditioner we purchased August 27, 2021 used it for a month. Now summer of 2022 temperatures are over 100 degrees the condenser on the ac blew up and company will not replace or refund on a one year warranty!! Bad business! Faulty product. I am not alone on this. I have come across many others with the same issues

    We purchased a washer and dryer set in November of 2021, from Lowe's. In May of 2022 the dryer stopped turning on completely. The washer will not turn on without being unplugged and plugged back in several times. This only happens about every other load or so. I called Midea the end of May. They tell me they will send someone out to repair the set. 5 days later they call me back to inform me that they do not have a repair company in my area so they want me to take them back to Lowes. So we loaded them up and took them to Lowes. Lowes will not take them back without a return authorization from Midea. I call Midea sitting in the Lowes parking lot and I’m told they have now magically found a company to repair them so they refuse to give me the RA#.

    I take them home and 2 weeks later a repair company comes out. He replaced the mother board in the washer, and he had to rig the dryer as he didn’t have the correct pulley with him. He told me to let him know when he came back with the correct pulley if the washer was working correctly. Another 3 weeks later he comes back, puts the correct pulley on the dryer and he tells me I have to create a new case number on the washer in order for him to look at it again. Here we are mid July and the dryer is now not heating and therefore not drying clothes.

    The washer is still making me unplug and plug it back in several times to wash a load. So I call Midea back again this morning and they have no customer service skills. As usual I am getting the run around. They want to send the company back out to “fix” them but I want them gone! They are garbage. We have had them less then a year! This is not fair! Do not waste your hard earned money on this Chinese based company!

    Don't buy a Midea Washer because It will rip up all your clothes and towels. It is the worst brand ever. The washer never balances out and it even states in the manual that the washer will have to be manually balanced out. This is on page 38 in the manual. It is a waste of good money to even consider a Midea product. I wasted my money on this piece of junk. The features on the washer are ridiculous and the water level will not fill up the right level. This washer is not energy efficient. If you forget to hit the fabric softner button prior to washing then it will just stay in the slot and mold. Whoever designed this washer must be an idiot!!!!

    Our washing machine broke a little over 3 weeks ago and was purchased 8 months ago. Trying to get service from this company is awful. They needed me to email tons of information. After almost a week, the service tech came out. He was there for 5-10 minutes and told me the washer was perfectly fine. I then showed him the video of the issue we were having and he said he would have another look. He then told me that he needs to order parts and to call to schedule another appointment once the parts arrived at my house. I then received the parts almost another week later and service couldn't come back until another 4-5 days later. He arrived and installed the new parts. He ran half of a cycle and told us it was fixed and left. Immediately after he left, we tried running a cycle of clothes and the issue was absolutely not resolved.

    I called him immediately and even sent him a video of the problem still persisting and he told me it was too late since he already closed out the service order so now I have to start this whole process over. He didn't run an entire cycle...he ran a partial cycle and decided to leave stating the washer was fixed and then hurried to close the order without the problem actually being fixed. So, 3-4 weeks later, our brand new washer is still inoperable. I took a chance on a brand I hadn't heard of because the Lowe's department said it was a good brand and I highly regret that decision. Awful product and awful customer service.

    I bought the Midea washer and dryer. After only 15 months the washer no longer worked. Cost me $260.00 to have a tech look at it and tell me it is under warranty, will have to order the parts that pm, they called back and said the manufacturer was no longing providing parts. They sent me $640.00 by check. As I had a matched set and would never buy another Midea washer what do I do, very bitter and products are garbage. Never buy these sad-performing appliances.

    I really wish I would have read reviews about Midea laundry products before I bought. I bought a washer dryer in February, 2021. The dryer began working only intermittently in November, 2021. The drum would not turn, the machine would not turn on at all, or it would make funny noises. I contacted customer service through a chat, which lasted 1 hour and 50 minutes. It consisted of the customer service rep asking me the same questions repeatedly, and seemingly ignoring my descriptions of the problem. After almost two hours of this, I was told there are no service technicians in my area, but that they would continue to look.

    I was to be contacted within five days. After five days and no contact, I was ready to contact them again, for another dreaded chat. But on that day, I received a voucher which allowed me to return the dryer to the place of purchase for full refund. The store owner had never seen something like this, but happily helped me. I was able to purchase a different brand, which I did. I will never purchase Midea again.

    One more strange thing that happened, was a package showed up at my door about a week later. It contained a new heating element for the dryer. Not sure why this happened, as none of the issues would have pointed to a bad heating element, and because they allowed me the return the dryer. All in all horrible product and horribly disorganized customer service (I guess I should not complain too much, as I got a new dryer). If you are considering this brand, my advice is steer clear of Midea.

    Purchased a Midea dryer from Lowe's 10/14/21. It quit working 12/2/21. Contacted customer service, horrible. Still no technician. If you are buying from Lowe's make sure you get their protection plan. I sure am having a hard time getting Midea to honor the 1 year warranty on this lemon I bought. Ridiculous!

    Midea is not only a horrible product they have the worst customer service as well. The Dishwasher has a constant horrible smell and it is NOT the installation because my installer has decades of experience and installed my last dishwasher with no problem. Customer service seemed like they expect this to happen and didn't even bother to try and fix it. They sent someone out who told me to put vinegar in the cycle, but didn't know anything about repairing it. He didn't try to pull it out or do anything that someone would normally do. They issued me an RA number and told me to take it back to Lowes. So now I have to pay to have it uninstalled and pay to have another one installed, which is crazy. Save yourself the trouble and stick with a Whirlpool or any other major brand. This is a horrible product.

    I have purchased the Midea Top Load Washing machine with three year warranty, MLV45N1BWW. We moved into the new house late August; I started doing laundry and 20 days in it dumped all of the water. The Midea Rep said it was probably the connection hoses (we told her it was coming from the bottom, hoses were bone dry). She said a repair man would contact us. On the second and third day I called back and they finally told me they have three days to call. He called on the morning of the fourth day, and set it for the next week. He arrived and talked on his phone about another business, then told us it was a fluke and everything was fine. Three days later it did it again. I now have water damage and the reps at Midea are not helpful and could not have cared less. I can't believe I'm paying almost as much as the machine cost in damage repair. Please choose any other brand than this one. They just don't really care.

    Big puddles of water collect in detergent and fabric softener compartments. They leak into the drum - there is always standing water in the machine. I called Midea - said this was meant to work this way.

    I bought this product and in less than one year, it stopped drying. I went back to Uncle Wiener store where I bought it and they told me the warranty was only 6 months and it had expired. The product is a fraud. I will definitely not recommend it.

    If I could give this rating zero stars, I would but unfortunately I can’t! This company has the absolute WORST customer service I have ever experienced! I bought a dryer in December 2018 and in October 2019 the dryer heating element went out then the dryer completely stopped coming on due to moisture! I called the warranty people in October 2019 and they was persistent on my dryer not working because the voltage of the plug in wasn’t correct even though I assured them it was because it worked the nine months prior. But we went ahead and we hired an electrician to come test out the voltage and it was correct, called Midea back to inform them it was the correct voltage.

    They then proceeded to ask for pictures so I had to pay him to come back out a second time so I could get pictures as Proof, after I sent proof Over they stated they was trying to locate a service technician. Weeks go by then they insisted on needing the electrician's information to assure he was a certified electrician so I sent that information over. I even went as far as sending a video of what the dryer was doing.

    Here it is it’s now January almost February and still don’t have a working dryer! So I even took it another step to send over local repair company’s names and number and fax numbers and they are still telling me “we are trying to locate a service technician to service your dryer. You should hear back from us in 48-72 hours”. I keep getting the same woman and when I ask to be transferred to someone else she says “I’m not allowed to do that”. When I ask to speak to a manger she says “my manger will be in a meeting for 1-2 hours”. When I say I can stay on hold and wait she says “I can’t have you on hold that long”.

    What the heck can this company do other than give me the run around on getting my dang dryer fixed? Save your sanity and just spend a tad bit more on a better brand because within nine months the heating element went out and days after that started going south. The dryer would only come on sometimes then it completely stopped coming on????

    Washes clothes okay but the spin cycle I found left a lot to be desired. Had to spin them twice and they still felt too we. Just bought the 7kg today. Wish I hadn't took twice as long to dry in my dryer even after spinning them twice. Should of stuck with LG.

    Has no filter basket or filter hose-DMFLW70. When you want to clean out the filter you unscrew as normal, it but there is no filter basket attached to it to catch the bits - apparently the huge amount of water that then gushes out over the floor is presumably to wash out any bits. The drawing in the manual shows a filter basket attached and says also that some models come with a hose to let the water drain out of the filter but this model doesn't have either. It's annoying as the door flap is in the way of collecting the water, causing it to gush out sideways, and there's too much water to collect with a bath mat - at least half a liter. So you need to make some kind of chute attachment. The wash dry cycles take forever and the fluff from the dry cycle stays in the barrel to spoil the next load. Other than that it does seem to wash well. It had a terrible new machine smell but this wore off after about four washes luckily.

    The unit worked great for 14 months, just after the warranty period expired. The mainboard had a short. The part was over $100, but was easy to replace. Very few repair people have knowledge of this unit and nobody would come to fix it. It wasn't too hard to do it myself. 2 months later the door lock went error code E31. Midea was great with diagnosis. Part was only $15 plus $15 shipping and easy to replace. 1 week later there is a leak from a valve that drains the tub. This is very hard to access and no idea how to replace it. All 3 separate issues but a real pain and obviously this is not a good product. I will most likely have to replace the whole unit with a different manufacture.

    Our Midea washing machine model-water magic cube was assessed on Aug 23, 2018 by Concepcion Ind outsourced technician to have defective main board and it's to be imported from abroad. I called Concepcion Ind almost every day, I've wasted much time to follow up. I'm tired of hearing their inefficiency. Today they told me that the schedule of repair will be on Monday Sept 10, 2018. If sure that the machine will be repaired on Monday, it's already 18 days delayed. The damaged part is worth P3,800 - the assessment fee is P350 - the labor for repair is P850 the total cost of repair is P5,000. Can I demand penalty for the delay? I'm very dissatisfied with Midea.

    Washes all clothes thoroughly and efficiently as well as the dryer was outstanding with its performance. I couldn't ask for a better machine. Stylish, sleek and outstanding design make the ugly old days of washer and dryer a thing of the past. The way these look are beyond fantastic. The cost may be a little above average compared to the Run of the mill machines but in the end the little extra you spend is worth every penny. I have never had an issue and there has never been a problem at all with this machine. We wash a lot of clothes. In all the years of use they perform as good as the first day.

    The washer/dryer set I use has been very useful. Agitator controls make using this washer a breeze. The Dryer has one-touch controls so using it can be a snap. The appearance has the pleasant look/feel of any kind of suitable washer/dryer combo that's easy to use and is very quiet to the ears. The washer/dryer combo comes in many colors to choose from and any other combination. The value of the washer/dryer combo can pay for itself in the long run. The cost is not as much as anyone might imagine. As long as one abides by the warranty, it can be serviceable in the future. Reliability is no issue. There will be times when it is needed for repairs, but that is expected. One only needs to consult the owner's manual, and have the necessary help for an expert technician come to your aid to help/and make repairs.

    The Midea washing machine and dryer that I had worked well for me. Unfortunately, the set that I had got old and had to be replaced. I couldn't find another affordable set of Midea. The washing machine was white in color and was an older model, a top-loading model. The dryer was the matching companion to the washing machine. We paid a total of around $600 for both the washing machine and the dryer approximately 20 years ago. We had the machines and still used them up until about 8 years ago. The washing machine and dryer were very reliable. We never had any trouble out of the machines until the end. It was going to cost too much to repair them, so they got replaced.

    Very good, cleans well, fast cycle settings. Would buy again. Dry very fast, good settings, modern and convenient. It performs well - usually thirty minute cycle time for wash, has all the setting for bleach and fabric softener. Very clean clothes inside strong reliable equipment. The appearance is good, clean and functional, clean lines good on space. Have large size. It is ok. Looks like a modern washer and dryer. No issues on the way it looks. All buttons and knobs are visible and accessible. The value is great. A full size functioning washer and dryer combo. Has easy to use and operate buttons and knobs. Very easy to use. Fast washing and drying features. Also can wash a lot of clothes. Can dry large blankets fast. Very reliable. No issues with it so far, can wash large loads and dry them. No problems. I have not had to do any maintenance or repairs as of yet.

    For its size it seems to be a good unit. Uses a minimal amount of water. It seems to be fairly energy efficient. I have had no problems with it and feel like I made a good decision. I like the way it is sleek and fits in a small space compared to most washers. It has a neat and clean look that fits in well with the rest of the room. I would say for the price it is a very good unit. I feel like I made a good decision with my purchase. I feel like I am saving money in the long run using this little washer when I need to do a small load. I feel that overall it will pay for itself in a year or two. I would say that it is very reliable. It gets my clothes clean and I do not notice them still being dirty after I wash them. I have not had any problems with it at all.

    Washer is very fast, with a standard load lasting only 29 minutes. Uses very little water and almost no electricity. Dryer is very quiet! Can barely hear it and never need to run it more than once. Size is perfect for our closet. Very compact and short so allows stacking. The dryer is very sleek and futuristic looking with all the lights and sounds. It was quite expensive, but worth it so far. Came with warranty for 5 years and haven't had a problem yet. Very good value for both washer and dryer. Never had a problem with either of these units. They run efficiently and quietly and I've never had a leak, fire or any electrical issue.

    It worked fine. It was just quite small. We got what we paid for. Clothes were adequately cleaned. No issues. We just needed a bigger washer. It has a sleek design that we liked. Attractive lines. The color was white. Nothing we did not like about the appearance. Looked fine. We bought the portable compact model for about $200. It was small but it met our needs at the time. The price seemed appropriate for what it is. We had no issues with reliability. Worked every time we used it and we were satisfied with the results. Nothing to complain about because it worked.

    Does a sufficient job of getting obvious stains out of clothes. Does not always remove all dirt. Sometimes clothes require a second wash. Very simple looking design and very clean. Machine is easy to use and it's appearance is very revealing of its functionality. Crisp layout that does not take up too much room. Not the most expensive machine on the market. Even though it did not always remove every ounce of dirt one would like it to, it did its job for the price that was paid. Once again, very fitting reliability for the cost of the machine. Does not cause any problems or any mechanistic hiccups. Consistent and performance remains up to par even after years of use.

    Has drastically cut down on our utility bills, water bill, etc. Best investment we've ever made. We have a family of 9, so we go through TONS of laundry. Never have been happier with a purchase. Very sleek awesome design. So easy and fashionable. Even my 8 year old can use it with ease. There is no confusing high tech buttons of features. Just simple, easy and great to use. We paid a great GREAT price, we had an instant rebate, store sale and man, we got lucky! Really helps us when we have such a large family and these items get tough to afford. Ours came with a warranty. Very lucky and blessed we never have had to use it. We wash extra large loads with a breeze. Everything comes clean. Even the husband's nasty work clothes.

    This works good for the money. Have had a long time and still works great. No complaints. It is good. It looks fine like a washer and dryer is supposed to. This is a real good value. Does the job. Would buy again if I needed to. It's very reliable. Had mine for 9 years. Never had a problem. Always washes and dries my clothes like it is supposed to.

    It's a nice washer. I do enjoy using it. It gets the job done when I need it in a timely fashion. Do not regret buying said piece. Enjoy all the settings on it. It's white which is okay. It's kind of hidden from people in my house so matching isn't like a huge deal for me but it would be cool if it looked more up to date. It was pretty expensive but it has lasted me a long time and do not see it going anywhere in the foreseeable future so it is a good value. It's never given out on me yet which is something I need because I have a new baby and big expenses are not at the top of my list for what I need to happen right now.
