    I talked to Steven about the blue light on the console. Steven told me the reason the blue was on, that it meant that there was an alert. Steven told me how to correct that and how to reset the console. He said that the alert was to notify me to change the battery in the smoke detector, which is electric. Thank you, Steven.

    Our alarm somehow got set to a 0 sec entry delay but the tech fixed it while on the phone. Also, this was not mentioned but the pictures on your website from our camera cannot be deleted. Also, it seems you have to log out and back in a lot to get some functions of the website to work. It seems to work good from our phones, just not the computers. Thanks for the help.

    Thomas was patient and showed concern for my problem. Issue was resolved professionally. I thought the motion sensor was not activated but he was able to verify that I had installed it correctly. The instruction manual is a little confusing. The way it reads, it seems that you need only one or the other of the base and the console. The video helped tremendously.

    On 3/15/13, we began to get beeping signal from console 1 and phone unit. I changed the LS180 battery in the base station with a battery just purchased on 1/22/13. Everything seemed to work just fine. I kept the old battery just in case the problem returned. On 3/19/13, the base and console 1 started beeping again and the phone unit was displaying the same message that happened on 3/15. I changed the battery again with my second new one purchased on 1/22/13. This did not seem to make any difference as the beeping continued.

    I called LifeShield support at 866-222-8580. After I explained the problem to Edwin, he asked me to change the power for the base station on the APC power unit. I did and the base station recovered and the beeping stopped. After hanging up, I decided to reinstall the original battery that was in the base station. I did and it seems to work just fine. Beats me. I then plugged my cell phone in the APC unit in the same outlet location that the base was plugged into and the phone charged without any problems at all.

    I ordered two new consoles. The first console, I had a problem getting the base 1 console to recognize it. There's nothing in the instructions as to how to fix it so I called tech help. A young man was able to help me fix the problem. Second console was shipped without the battery, so now I have to wait for the battery to get here before I can proceed with completion of installation. This has been a very frustrating and annoying process. I have a large house and the sales people don't seem to understand the limits of the equipment they're selling which translates into several calls and the necessity to purchase additional equipment.

    Problem with beeping Grid Extender and adding sensor after changing battery: The batteries and sensors do not seem to have much life, and I always need to change them. When reinstalling sensors to the same position, the system indicates that "sensor was out of range" or "could not be found." Can you improve the quality of the sensors and batteries?

    I kept getting Not Armed notifications when the system was armed. Also, I had unknown history from an unknown Android user. I do not have an Android. LifeShield Tech team have all been amazing!     While trying to add the final door sensor, the control panel recognized it but then got a gfcs (or something similar) notice. So I called tech help to find out what it meant. He told me that the sensor was too far away (approx. 30') to receive the signal. He gave me a couple of options, and I told him I had already ordered two more control panels, which would solve the problem hopefully.

    My real problem is with the person that I initially spoke with when I ordered the equipment. I asked for two smoke detectors and for a CO detector; she told me that you don't have CO detectors but do have siren detectors that pick up the sound from an existing CO detector. Turns out that you don't have smoke detectors either and that all you do have is siren detectors of which I received two instead of three. I'm a little disappointed with the product knowledge of the saleswoman as she told me that I would have three pieces of equipment that had sirens, but in fact the cellular gateway doesn't have a siren as I was told.

    I'm disappointed that you don’t offer your own smoke detectors as well as standalone sirens. I ended up having to buy 2 extra control panels and a glassbreak tester as the install instructions say they should be tested regularly. This whole process would have been much less frustrating had I been better informed of your equipment’s capabilities at the outset. I will continue with the completion of the installation once I receive the other equipment I ordered and hopefully it will perform as advertised (it better or we'll have another problem).

    Long story made short, I had a sensor fall off the window and set the alarm off. All of my windows were closed, so I couldn't figure out why the alarm was going off and indicating an open window. I called the service tech and he walked me through all the steps to find the problem and then spent a lengthy amount of time helping me reprogram the other sensors who needed that. He was so patient and kind, which I really appreciated. I think his name was Eric. I am not tech savvy at all, but with his guidance and patience with me, I was able to do everything that needed to be done to reset my system and clear up the problem. He answered all of my many questions and always had the right answers or directions! This was excellent customer service and I will gladly recommend Life Shield to others! Please let Eric know how much I appreciated him working with me! This is excellent customer service!

    Extremely hard to understand the person on the other end of the line. I also have a technical problem. In the "stay" position, the motion detector should be off. Instead, it stays armed and I cannot use the system during the day because I am retired and stay home. That defeats the purpose of the alarm system. Maybe I programmed the motion sensor wrong? I do not know. I want my doors and windows monitored 24/7, but only want the motion detector on at night when I am sleeping. Any suggestions?

    There was a blue flashing light on our console. We didn't know what it meant. We didn't know how to clear it. We were told it meant there was a message for us reminding us to change out the batteries in our safety detectors.     I could not get my system to recognize the cellular gateway I recently purchased and contacted customer service.     I am only a customer of Lifeshield for about a month now. I have to say that Lifeshield has the best customer service department I have ever dealt with. They are very attentive to your needs and questions and truly want to resolve your issues. One example of this excellent customer service was when I called about a new purchase I had made and was told that the sales manager (Tim **) was on another call and would call me back. I was like, “Ok, probably tomorrow I’ll get that call.” Ten minutes later, I got the call from Tim and he answered my question and made sure I was happy with the overall performance of his team. If this is the kind of customer service I keep receiving, I will be with Lifeshield for a very long time!

    I called regarding charges to my bank account from CMS. I wanted to verify that was for my monthly service monitoring. I also talked to them about the bill date, which was supposed to be the 15th of each month. It is now on the 8th and I was told it could not be changed.     The sensor on the entry door to our garage was not working correctly after installation. Brian helped troubleshoot the problem and came up with a solution. The solution was to add spacers to the sensor and magnet, thus moving each further away from the metal door which he believed was interfering with the magnetic signal. Since I was out of spacers for the magnet, he took my information and offered to send more spacers and two sided tape. Once they arrive, I will install them and see what happens.

    A a rule, our monitoring centers do not leave messages for unanswered calls since that takes additional time away from dispatching local officials. I am glad to hear that police responded within 5 minutes.

    Our priority is to address the alarm incident as fast as possible. If the customer doesn't answer in a few rings, we hang up and call authorities. The call 1 hr 15 mins later was because they tried again later to alert you of the signal and finally got through to you.

    The tech support worked to determine if there was a setup issue and decided to replace the camera as well as a door/window unit. I have found that the tech support is extremely patient and helpful each time I ask for some help. I had some connectivity issues once the webpage was set up for customers; and for some reason, I was not getting notices anymore. Sometimes the instructions on how to address issues are either unclear or not linked on the website, but each time the issues are quickly resolved with a phone call.

    It seems to go low power too often. Why fifty one words? Are you nuts or something? Now I am going to have to count my words. Sometimes, it is more explainable if you use less words. So what can I say about the batteries that are used in the sensors that are on both the windows and doors of my house here in Florida? So when you least expect it, the alarm goes off sending you into an aggravated rage because you now have to figure out which sender it is that is making the alarm go off. And when you look at the main unit, it takes you about an hour of watching and trying to catch the screen to tell you which sender is low power. It seems that the flashing is too fast for the eye to read.

    So needless to say, after trial and error, you finally find the low power sender and change the battery, only to have the sender not recognize the new battery. That is when you have to call the tech. There are so many different things on the control panel that someone like me who is from the old school doesn't understand. And even though I try to go on the computer, I can never find the info needed to correct the problem. Now, I hope I have written more than 51 words. Thanks.

    We decided that it takes too long for the authorities to get to our house if there ever was any trouble. It took the State Police over an hour the one time they were notified of a problem. Also, we were having trouble with the sensors going bad when we were away and had to rely on family to fix them. Just changing the batteries didn't work on quite a few of them.     Jim and the man who were helping me make my choices while setting up new service did not understand my set up. I'm unsure that I gave the right answers and that the set up will be proper for this place. I also was not told about or offered the equipment that is installed to detect sliding door glass breakage, which I believe I need. The motion detector was the only option offered for that door. I went through the instructions twice and think I can handle the install but also want a security knowledgeable person to evaluate the optimal places to install the equipment. I do believe that it will do the job when properly installed, and the price is fair unless I get charged beyond the $34.99 per month.

    While installing the siren sensor, the system would detect the sensor. However, it fails after testing the smoke/CO alarm. After some discussion and troubleshooting with the technical support team, it was decided that the cause of the failure was the California alarm/voice alerts sent out by the alarm. A LifeShield smoke alarm will be sent. Kudos to the technical support team; they did a fast and easy job.

    I continue to have problems with the cameras I have. Last time, camera 2 recorded a video that I or your technical support cannot view. If we were able to view it, we could have discovered who attempted to enter my house from the backyard at 3:20 am. I wasn't home at that time and was profoundly asleep. I did not hear the phone ringing as I was spending the night at my son's house. The police was called but the intruder fled after hearing the alarm going off. We cannot see who it was because of the problem with viewing recorded videos.

    At 5pm on Feb. 26, Tuesday, one of your techs, Alex, walked me through the steps to install a new base. It worked successfully. At 2am, every sensor alarm in the house went off and I had no idea how to shut them off. There is no tech support at that hour. I had to completely disconnect everything. I also have to get up for work at 6am. I have had constant problems with the system the last several months. Some of your tech people are so arrogant, but not Alex, and condescending, it's disgusting. I now have a complete dismantled system and don't know where to start. On Monday, March 5, I am very tempted to get another company.

    The motion detector that came with our security system has gone off twice now and has caused me to be called out of our home. It was because our dog is in the house. The customer service representative told me that I need to purchase new one to replace it because my dog weighs over 30 pounds. I asked him if it could be exchanged since this was not explained to me when we purchased the system. He said, “No way, you have to purchase a new one for the size of your dog.” This seems a bit unfair since we are paying a premium monthly fee for your services and it is just a motion detection device that came with our system. We should be able to have one that covers pets of any size. Please advise if this survey matters at all. Thank you.

    I had signal on my base that my battery was low. The technician was able to tell me which window specifically and how to resolve the problem. Also later, I received another signal indicating one of the sensors needed to be reset. The technician guided me through that process also. The base said "Tempr" which I did not know what that meant. The technician was able to explain what that was and helped me resolve the problem. Now, my system works as it did before replacing my batteries.

    When I ordered my alarm system, I had asked for an 80-pound motion sensor for inside the house because I have 5 Chihuahuas and if they run in en masse, I felt the 40-pound sensor could be activated. Life Shield sent the 40-pound sensor. I had talked to Thomas, the man I ordered the system from, about getting extra sensors so I could open various windows several inches during hot weather but I forgot to place them in the order. I later received some when the new motion sensor arrived. I still owe you for those.

    During the first trip to install the alarm, the tech, Brad **, told me he had not been trained by Life Shield on how to install this system, and although he read the instructions as he installed the sensors, he did not know how to finish the job, so the alarm system was not up and running when he left. He said I should call on Monday and the office techs would be able to walk me through the rest of the installation. I decided that no way was I going to try to finish this myself. A few days later when I got home, I found 2 sensors on the floor inside the house under two of the windows.

    I learned that since Brad had not been trained by Life Shield, he did not know that he couldn't touch the tape during the attaching to the window frame process. I am still concerned that sensors will still fall off in the future, since the tape may have been weakened during the sticking process and I have no idea how many sensors' tapes may be weakened. The second time the tech came out to work on the alarm, he did get it up and running, but I was reluctant to use it because I had let too much time pass since Brad had walked me through the process.

    I called Life Shield and asked if I could have a No Monitor period again before going live, but the man I talked to told me my time had run out for no monitoring back in December. When I turned it on, I would be live. I decided to wait until the extra monitors and the new sensor arrived to turn it on. The company called and said they would walk me through putting the extra sensors on the windows, and how to replace the motion detector. Or... if I wanted the tech to come back again, I would be charged $99 for the trip. I decided to pay the fee and have the tech back because I didn't want to take a chance that I might do something wrong and triggering the alarm would then be my fault.

    Needless to say, Brad came back for the third time and finished the installation, and so far everything is up and running okay. I called and talked to Cedric and he is allowing me to have 2 weeks of no monitoring so I can get used to having the alarm system trial time. I am practicing using it during the night, but have not turned it on when I leave for work yet. I am concerned about my dogs should the alarm go off when I am not home and it runs for very long. If I had known how much of a problem this was going to be, I don't think I would have ordered this system. But I have it now for at least 3 years, so I will try not to make any mistakes setting it and leaving.

    I do feel more secure at night and during the time during the day that I have it on and I now like to hear the beeping type sound it makes every time I open the door. All the people who have called from Life Shield trying to help me have been very nice, and poor Brad has had to put up with me in person three times. I am sorry I am such trouble and complained so much here. In the past many years, my husband and I have had alarm systems on our houses in San Jose, CA, and Valley Springs, CA but they were never connected to the police department. They rang outside, not in the house, and I felt we were safe. Now, I am alone and have to figure out all this stuff by myself, and it is somewhat confusing. Plus, when the alarm was triggered by accident during installation, it scared my dogs and me to death because it is so loud inside the house.

    I realize that is the purpose, to scare the burglar, and I think no one will stay in the house if they do get in. Hopefully, I will never have to find out. I think this situation is now on the right track and I hope to be a real pro at using my alarm in the near future. Bye for now.

    I had called in to get my cameras hooked up after numerous attempts. The installer, Tyler, that had been sent by LifeShield had even made three trips. And in the last, he never came out but called because it was a waste of time to him. After hours on the phone with customer support, the last call did it. I was able to walk through it with the tech. The only complaint I would have would be I had warned the tech that I was technologically challenged, and if he didn't have the patience to walk me through it, to please pass this call to a coworker.

    He did make it through the call with me, bearing with three small children in the background. However, I believe that I could sense the irritation in his voice as I had in every other attempt I have made in calling to get the cameras up and running. I had been told that I just needed to have someone else or a family member do it for me in one call. This discouraged me from even attempting to set the cams up after a new set was sent to me, and I had paid for the life view plan for over 7 months without ever being able to properly use my system. Also, I pay an internet bill monthly in which I only got and committed a contract for this feature I had not been able to use.

    However, he did get me through it and to find out the main reason I was not able to properly keep them up and running after a day or two at a time was because the installer had told me the top button was a privacy button that I should shut off when I was at home. Also, I wasn't told that the cams were able to run without power cord, because they had a built in battery so he had posted my cam up high where there was not a power source. This installer that was sent out mainly claimed to do sound systems and not this particular alarm system. But regardless! It is up and running now! I will not be pushing the button that deactivates this camera again (may want to inform the installers). I do have the two cameras to send back but will check on the prices to keep them and add services now that they are working.

    I would like to say that I did a lot of research in picking an alarm system. I was assaulted by my husband and fear for my safety as well as my children’s. I called many places for security alarms. I actually had an ADT rep get my personal number and call me while he was doing his sales pitch from his personal cell to tell me that he had never heard of LifeShield. He didn't believe the features and pricing could be possible or true, and that because of the pricing, he would suggest using the theory "you get what you pay for" in choosing LifeShield. But as he called me from a line not being recorded for training purposes, he told me to go through your company. He offered three years of service and standard equipment for the 2,000 I would infinitivally spend on LifeShield set up. To me, this just shows that ADT has honest employees, given my situation and its importance. I thank ADT for helping me in my choice for LifeShield!

    The Office for Victims of Crime, along with everyone I show, will now be referring to LifeShield or getting it when their ADT contract is up. I love to show people how amazing the features are and express how not only can I leave my home and feel protected, but be in my home and feel the security a home should provide for my children and I.     Not long ago, I added the camera to my system. It works but sometimes something occurs - electric off for a second - and then the camera does not work. When I am away when this happens and if a robber breaks in, the camera will not be able to take a picture. I have to reset! Also, you recently came out with a low light/infrared camera. I asked to switch or add some money to get the new one, but you said no.

    The whole experience was very good, from the pricing, installation, and the technical support. We referred our friends, Al and Nancy **, and their system has been installed. When do we receive the referral credit? We were able to put in double contacts to allow for windows to be left open in summer. The problem is, in order to have the additional magnet required to do this, we had to purchase a whole new contact when only the magnet was needed. I suggest the magnets be sold separately or have two magnets in each contact box to allow for a double setting. Now, there are spaces in each contact box. It would be easy to throw in an additional magnet and additional tape in case a contact does not set right or is knocked off accidentally. We had to super glue two contacts back in place.

The system reported that the sensor was open, but, in fact, it was not open. I called LifeShield technical support. I received excellent information from the support person.     We had a couple of problems with 2 open/close sensors and a motion detector. A couple of calls to tech support and we determined that it was OK to try new sensors in these cases. The motion sensor actually malfunctioned while we were gone and the police were called and responded within a couple of minutes. The process works! But we don't want the police called too often for a malfunction. ;^) Over all, tech support and LifeShield is very responsive to any problem that we might have and willing to resolve the same quickly.

    One of the sensors was not detected after even trying different ones. The tech told me how to press the little gray button on it and then it worked. We also discovered that one of the screws we used to attach the sensor was not completely seated. We used screws instead of the tape because the tape doesn't hold as well as we would like. We used the tape on only glass and metal surfaces.

    Your technician came as promised and was nice; however, I wish he could have answered more questions for us. I also wanted to know how to add another passcode or the instruction on how to use the keypad even though the book was given. When you have questions, it would be nice to speak with the person there and not have to call. Also, we noticed that the camera did not stay with the tape used, so in the future, maybe using a different type of way of keeping the camera put. We are going to buy something to help keep the camera on the wall. But so far, so good. I love the email alert letting me know when the system is armed or disarmed.

LifeShield's installation program is still somewhat new (previously only offered as a DIY installation), so while we ensure that the installers we hire are reputable professionals, the installation process is still new to many of them. We tell them during the training process that if the customer has any questions you're aren't 100% sure about, to have them call LifeShield directly so a technician can be sure to give them as much detail as possible.

    Had some questions about the cellular backup system. It was explained to me that once the power went out, that this cellular backup would still contact the police if something happened.     Thanks Thomas for taking care of my issue promptly and respectfully. The installer discovered that one of the sensors was defective (that came with my kit) and another one was put in the system right away to be sent to me. Then, I spoke with Thomas and let him know that I was short one sensor for my house. He said it would cost twenty something dollars plus another ten for shipping. I let him know I could not afford to spend any more money on this system. I asked him to speak with a supervisor and he did. He took care of it for me. So I didn't have to pay any more money.     I was completely satisfied with the customer service representative, and he solved my problem completely. However, I am utterly dissatisfied with LifeShield's policy of doing upgrades without telling customers. This obviously has an impact on customers when software upgrades go awry; otherwise, I wouldn't have needed to call customer service. It makes it impossible to plan on my security system when the company changes firmware without warning me. Please provide an e-mail notification when future firmware upgrades are planned. It costs nothing and would restore my faith in the service.

On the YouTube video, it said to put in an activation code that we were to find on the website.     So you will better understand this review, you should know that I have over 25 years of experience in training inbound and outbound customer service agents for "Fortune 50" companies. It's an elite group known for its excellence in the marketplace, with most having been in business for over 50 years. LifeShield belongs in this elite group! Knowing my background and understanding that I seek perfection in attitude and expertise when recruiting and training new agents to handle both inbound and outbound calls, on a scale of 1-10, with 10 being superior, LifeShield earns a 15! And below are the reasons why.

    Yesterday, Wednesday, I received the replacement camera that Cedric had shipped this past weekend. I reached Steven. With Cedric off, he took over to handle assisting me. Steven was another example of excellence from the entire team. He patiently walked me through the set up and installation. He switched me from the previous LifeView to the new updated site. Steven walked me through the site so I would be comfortable with navigating it to every area. We talked about his job, his comfort in his 2 1/2 years there, and his desire to move up. I told him I knew I would receive a customer satisfaction survey and assured him I would more than recommend him for advancement. So, Heather Ata, Steven is superb and carries exactly the qualities and talent to train, teach, supervise, direct, and probably anything else you would ask him to do!

    What is amazing to me is that every person I have worked with at LifeShield has been superior in knowledge, customer service expertise, courtesy, explaining things in laymen's terms, and doing everything possible to ensure a "one call resolution". In talking with Steven, I was curious about the parameters for calls such as average handle time. He explained that different calls require different call times and that the stress was on 100% on customer service rather than time spent on the call. He was very forthcoming with answers to my questions. He never interrupted or talked over me, never treated me like the "technically challenged" individual that I am. He did everything he could to ensure my comfort and understanding.

    I have been very detailed here for a couple of reasons. During this past week, I have had the pleasure of talking with Doug on a sensor battery problem, with Cedric on my old camera and my cellular backup installation, and Steven on the installation of the new camera and navigation of the newer LifeView site. Each of these individuals had gone far and above their regular duties to assure my faith in LifeShield and to ensure my complete satisfaction. In addition, the detail serves as your guide behind the scenes as to what the "picky" customer is looking for. All three of these individuals need to be commended for their thorough understanding of all products and for their expertise in dealing with your customer base.

    When comparing with the statistics of how many bad call-ins received relate to the good and complimentary calls, only 1 out of every 22 will be good; the other 21 will be negative and complaints. My hope is that your Vice President, Heather Ata, will see this and other emails and be content with how well her team is performing! Steven checked for me on an e-mail I received stating that my recent comments about Doug had been published and assured me it is published internally. As that is the case, please feel free to share my comments with your entire team. From the attitudes that I have witnessed, and from the expertise of Doug, Cedric and Steven have shown me, I would recommend all three for "Employee of the Month", be it for the quarter or the year, because each exemplifies the high standards of LifeShield.

    It's no wonder that the Better Business Bureau shows your excellence and that your company is recommended by both AARP and AAA as the number one security company in the country! It's extremely comforting knowing that I am with the very best company, but it’s even better knowing I can always rely on your excellent team! Thank you so much!

    My support person was great in trying to help me best he can but as I expected, my core issue is still unresolved as it's not a simple thing that he could have fixed himself. LifeShield has a glaring gap in the security of its hardware that has occurred sometime recently as anyone can just unplug one of my sensors from the bracket and I would never get an alert that my sensor has been tampered with. This feature used to work along with the alerts warning you of a low battery before it would just die. But now, neither of those notifications works. This isn't a system configuration issue and the support person verified that with me. This is a core application issue in the reporting function.

    He indicated that he was engaging your system engineers and would get back to me and that's fine. I don't expect this problem to get fixed overnight but the fact that it exists and has for some time pretty much makes my system worthless from a security standpoint! Anyone with access to my home from a service tech to house cleaners can render my system useless by simply pulling sensors. I've been happy with your setup since I started with you some years ago under the Ingrid name but lately, it seems you guys are more focused on trying to market your products and make web interface hip than actually make sure they do their core job and work properly. Overall, I'm beginning to lose confidence in LifeShield as a result! This is not a reflection of the guy who helped me as he was great, but this is a larger issue with LifeShield as a whole and the direction you guys are taking.

    Our installation was this past Saturday, February 9. The technician, Rodney, came on time at 8am but was here for almost 4 hours! He was from DirecTV and told us this was his first time installing a system on his own and was constantly on the phone with his supervisor asking for help. He really wasn't sure what he was doing, and we had to ask him to complete a few windows and a door that he forgot, as well as the call for the motion sensor to be set. He was a very nice guy, but we expected a representative from LifeShield. He didn't give us any guidance on how to use the system at all. We called to ask questions and have a booklet. This took our whole morning, and we are hoping that the system has been installed correctly.

    Because many are still new to the process and to be sure all goes well, we insist that they call our home office during installation to be sure everything is being done correctly for our customers. We also have them leave behind the manual for you to become familiar with your system.

    I had a very positive experience with the technical support person who patiently walked me through making critical changes. The smoke alarms had gone off while I was not at home. My daughter placed a frantic call to me, and I couldn't remember the code to disarm the system.     I rarely have to call because my system is almost flawless. However, after be awakened by an annoying beep due to a low battery in a sensor, I called Customer Service and spoke with a technical wizard named "Doug." Immediately, he explained how to bypass the sensor for 24 hours. I was thrilled with the annoying beep gone. As I was asking about ordering a replacement battery, Doug informed me he already had placed an order for 4 batteries at no charge ... to be shipped immediately by mail rather than UPS which is a 30 mile round trip from my home. He was absolutely excellent in both his non-techie plain language & also in his courtesy.

    I have to tell you that aside from the original salesperson who took my order, I have had the very best and most courteous people every time I talk with anyone at LifeShield. Doug was patient and in no hurry to rush me off the phone. He took his time, explained everything in layman's terms and was quite a gentleman. Please convey these thoughts both to Doug and to your entire LifeShield team. The most impressive thing any company can do to ensure continued success is to have a great customer service team. And in a 1-10 scale, 10 being superb, Doug is a 10 1/2! Thanks so much!

    The technician assisted with multiple ways to get camera started without luck and is shipping a replacement. I have received the return directions. I finally realized that the daily messages on activity had not been reported via email or on LifeView since Feb 9. Technician worked with me for several tests - some worked but others did not. By last night, notices began arriving regularly for open doors, alarm sets, etc. both on LifeView and also via email.

    I am not a handy person, but found it relatively easy to set up with support from LifeShield. A couple of the sensors were replaced quickly since there was an issue of locating them on the console. Now with room sensors, a siren sensors and the windows secure, I have peace of mind when I leave my home. I really like the app so I can turn the system on or off from a different location.

    I had a problem with one of the motion sensors. The dog kept setting it off and it was supposed to be a pet immune one. You are sending me a replacement one. The man helped to remove that one from the system also. I also called in Saturday and received assistance during the setup of the various devices and it all worked out okay. But it did take longer than 30 minutes on my end.

    I just needed to pay my bill. Great service by the way! I would like the opportunity to build a phone room that promotes and offers this self-install alarm system. Please contact me regarding this possibility. I think the general public would consider this kind of offer unique. The competition you could offer other such services would impact the market. There were so many steps to replacing the batteries and also locating certain window batteries that needed replacement.     I called and the call was answered quickly. The person who answered was able to quickly and knowledgeably address my various questions and explain how the cellular technology works.     I got this system about 14 months ago. It has changed my life. Everyone in the family (my hubby, 3 teenagers) all have iPhones, and we can all arm and disarm the system any time. I can keep track of my kids, and know where they are and when they come home. I know if their friends are with them. Nothing gets by me. Also, the smoke alarm is great - my son forgot he was cooking pasta, and left the house and the alarm went off when it started smoking, and the fire department came. It prevented a real fire from starting.

    This security system is the best. I love the apps; my wife and I have them on our iPhones and iPads, and we can check on our two terriers any time we want with the video cameras.     I am so glad I got a home security system. I had a hard time choosing which company to go with, but I picked LifeShield because of the price and because I may be moving some time soon. I can take LifeShield with me when I move. Last month, I was out of town visiting my sister in Montreal, and someone tried to break in to my condo. I got a text message right when it happened while my alarm was still ringing. The police showed up and found my door open.     We're also glad to know you weren't home at the time. Remember: always keep your system armed, whether you are home or not! Most burglaries happen during the day when they believe people are out or at work.

    LifeShield is easy for renters and people who move often because you can take it with you when you go. I wish the former owners of my house took their old wireless system with them when they left. Now I'm just stuck with an old heavily wired system in my hallway, on doors and windows and a knot of wires in my basement.

    Needless to say, I love my wireless LifeShield system too!
