Person that handled my question regarding timing of when our 'system' would begin being monitored was very helpful in solving the condition. First, by contacting the local Police to verify that a permit was in place since no number was assigned then seeing to it that we went to a 'Monitored' condition.

Our new security system is great. Installation was easy after I learned how to install the units. I did have to make a bracket for the big door in the garage but after I did that, everything worked just fine. I still need to tie the system to my cell phone. The system keeps saying "no phone line" but it will still arm and disarm just fine. This is the best security system we have ever had, and we have had a lot. Thanks for being there for us.

I had been having problems with the website and also the 7 day practice period. Called and had a nice experience with one of the representatives. The 7 day practice period was really a 21 day practice period and they weren't sure why. He fixed it, and manually added the information I was trying update on the website. Still have troubles with the website, but they are minor. Overall, still very happy with the service and accessibility of my security system through LifeShield.

My alarm went off when my pet caregiver set it off in error entering my home to walk my dog. I was not at home. The police were there immediately! I felt like my home was completely protected! I was a little upset that they frisked him, looked up his records and checked on his house keys, only because he was innocent. I feel very secure in the way they handled this. My caregiver ended up laughing about it. Thanks! This was my first experience.

From a "take care of current issue" point of view, tech was excellent. But this is my third call in a week.... It was the 2nd call for keypad with flashing blue light and saying "no internet". But I DID have internet. Sandwiched between those 2 calls was a phone call from the police... saying LifeShield called them citing a duress signal. I never touched the keypad. They said it came through the internet... Again, not by me or wife. So WHY am I only satisfied, when tech's assistance at system reset was excellent? Because when I expressed concern about the system and all the issues so recently, she pretty much blew off my comments. I told her if this happens again, I'm going to want more than a reset... that comment barely registered with her.

My internet was working... but my LifeShield system said otherwise. A blue light flashed on my keypad. Tech walked me through resetting a couple of things - I could hear him taking identical steps on his end so I knew he was right there with me - sort of.

I didn't want to wait 30 secs for the system to call me so they reset it to a zero wait time. I also had the system go off when I was out having dinner and the cops went to the house calling it a false alarm. The reason the alarm was triggered was because the sticker that holds the connector on released and set off the system. The police sent me a letter saying next time it will cost me $100.00. I think you should be responsible for the false trigger due to a default in the equipment. I put a new sticker on and seems to be holding fine now. Please respond and let me know how you will handle this if it happens again? I should get get I should be up 1 on false alarms. Hoping not to need it but shouldn't have to pay for a malfunction. Please feel free to call me.

Well done. A very good overall shopping experience. One minor concern. I decided to order another component - a signal extender. The customer service associate was nice and included shipping. However, ordinarily it would have been $20.00 for shipping on a $90.00 part that probably weighs a couple pounds at most. That's a lot of $ for a shipping fee!

This is the worst system and customer representatives are clueless. There's never anyone in authority to make any decisions. I had major surgery in which my kids were a little comfortable because they could view my bedroom. The crazy thing 3 weeks ago is I was looking into someone else's home which should have been my front yard. I called Lifeshield and was suppose to escalate to their engineers. No response from them at all. 2 cameras stop working and the reps couldn't correct it therefore I laid on the floor waiting for help 6 hours. They do not have any service calls in Texas so the customers are on their own. I've since asked to be released from my contract to go with ATT.

It is always a fearful thought I have that after signing up with some company for a long term contract I suddenly regret it after my first few phone calls to them and find out their customer service is miserable and the only good thing about the company is their sales pitch. Once they have you the rest is all downhill. Well I can't say that about Lifeshield Security. You guys have ALWAYS been consistently courteous, pleasant and helpful. Believe me I have called so many times I thought for sure I would get at least one rep who would just leave a little lacking in the customer service manners department, but that hasn't happened. Everyone I have spoken to has been very helpful. It is a rare thing to get good customer service these days and LifeShield is by far the exception. When it comes to customer service your representatives could teach a few other companies a thing or two. It's too bad all my other customer service calls can't be like those I make to LifeShield. Security. Kudos to all of you in Customer Service!

After two months and several calls, my indoor camera doesn't work with my new modem. Your tech personnel is knowledgeable in standard issues, but once the problem is out of the standard all the system collapse. Still my camera is not working.

Had problem with comm base, it would restore every hour. The tech stated it was in need of software update. It would take about an hour plus and see what happens. Today it went off only once. So hopefully it is getting resolved.

Customer service was very nice and polite, answers all of my concern. I purchase the system. Up to today I am very satisfied. Very easy to used - even my grandchildren can do it. Yes I would recommended to a friend or family member. It come completely with everything you need including an inside camera. You can monitor all activities since is a wireless system - in your smartphone or yes, log into the website and monitor from the office. I am very happy with my alarm system.

I suddenly was unable to arm the system because the system indicated that a door was open when it was closed. After changing the battery, transmitter and magnet all to no avail, I called LifeShield Tech Support. They told me to uninstall and then reinstall that transmitter. Bingo! Everything back to normal. Tech Support was very helpful and responsive. Thank you for the great support.

I called to respond to an email that my payment didn't go through. Turns out my card number had expired. The girl was very nice. I then was transferred to tech support about a sensor issue. The problem seems to have been resolved. The guy on the phone could have been a little less "dry".

For some reason, I can't get your system to work on my comp. Spent hours changing passwords and trying other things trying to figure it out. The crazy part was when I had to call back, I was told everything we did was written down so we wouldn't have to do the same thing all over again and she kept telling me to keep trying it again & again. Way too much wasted time. They should take the time to read the notes and not waste so much time. I don't believe the problem is your fault. I think it's something with the comp but why keep repeating the same thing over & over again?

The main base kept on flashing, the broadband was not working and we had no phone line, but the phones were still working. Tamika said don't worry, I can fix that from here. The message quit immediately.

Our credit card information had changed; therefore, when the automatic funds were withdrawn, the charge was declined. We updated our information online and called to make sure the charge would go through and that everything would be taken care of. Quick, easy and efficient.

Tom was excellent at what he does and I was very impressed. He took his time and made sure that everything was in working order before he left my home. He called technical support when he had a question about making all of the sensors connect to the monitoring keypad. He never acted like I was asking for too much or asking too many questions. He was great and should get a big raise for doing such a great and outstanding job. If more folks were like him in the service industry I'd spend more money there and not dread making this kind of purchases. Lastly, your entire team has always been great when I call and hopefully this attitude will continue as I use and pay for my new alarm system. Thanks a million.

I received an email telling me of low battery. I called and your tech sent one out at once. Thanks. Also, a few days ago I was about to enter my house while carrying packages. I must have squeezed the key ringer that was in my pocket because about ten minutes later the police were at my door. I guess I set off the panic alarm without knowing it. But I was happy to see it work.

I called to spoke with permits and had the system activated and live. Very helpful and no issues, went great. Was handed off to support of an issue of not being able to add my email address in the Android app properly. My domain name has a hyphen in it and when I put that in, it would not give an error, but it would remove the hyphen. I have not tried this online via the website as I do not want to have to call support to fix it again. Right now anyways... :) Support specialist was very friendly, professional, and quick to solve my issue. I have no complaints and my first support experience was very positive. Thanks so much.

I had to call your firm a few times to get my wireless cameras set up. Each time the rep was very knowledgeable and patient. The person who sold me the system, Sharon, was professional and complete in her explanations. Only issue is regarding a cell backup on the account which I did not receive. I am awaiting a promised call back from LifeShield on the status of that.

The system has been great, but it has one MAJOR flaw. The broadband connection was lost for a few moments and the system became deactivated (go figure that one out!). The broadband came back, but the system would do nothing because it is not activated. Customer service is closed (11 PM my time on the west coast). Called monitoring center - they could not help. Great! So what good is a system that cannot be activated during the time when crime is most active? Sheesh - big mistake getting this system unless they work out a procedure pronto on how we can get the activation code during off-hours. Until they do, better consider an alternative. Too bad - I was enjoying the system until tonight when I discovered this unacceptable flaw in their procedures. If they fix this problem, I will certainly revisit this review.

I called in to request proof of service that I could provide my homeowners insurance company for a reduced rate on my homeowners insurance. I received an email but did not receive a legible certificate. My insurance man said I need the following - his words: "They have an actual certificate to give you for just this purpose. It is what is required". Please resend the certificate to my email address.

The lady who helped me with some additional stickers was wonderful. Also, the man who sold me the equipment was wonderful. I'd sent 2 emails with questions and the first one was completely answered. Sadly to say the second one was not answered. The question is, if I use my fax during the day and when I'm at home, do I need an additional "hard wired" telephone line exclusively for the security system? It's an additional $30 + tax per month and I'd really like to avoid that charge if possible. I usually unplug my modem line and plug in the phone line for the fax to work and the question is, will that trigger the alarm and if not what do I do to have that not happen? Please let me know your thoughts and the answer. I've not activated the system yet as I'm too busy and will work on that over the weekend.

I recently installed your system and I had multiple pieces of equipment that did not work and it is a big inconvenience to have to send them back. My fire detector still doesn't work. I am starting to question the quality of this equipment.

I was pleased with service given to me. However, I want to be monitored at all times. No More Practice Mode. Someone deliberately entered my home and hit the panic button on my alarm system. I've been having problems with the maintenance staff on my property entering my home when I'm not here. I have cameras and sensor and will be arming them when I leave my home and when I'm asleep. I need you guys to keep me covered.
I'm tired of the foolishness that been going on with maintenance entering my home with no authorization, stealing food, money, cigarettes, drinking my beer, watching my TV, using exercise equipment, just treating my home as if it was theirs. I've had enough of the blatant disrespect and if they enter my home with no authorization, I'm going to prosecute to the fullest measures possible and I need you guys to be on point. I'm fed up. I'm tired of the foolishness.

I was on the phone with one of your reps whose name I forgot. He basically gave up on me and my concerns. He spent 2 hours with me and the problem was not resolved, and he transferred me to Ashley to remove the camera from my billing. Ashley referred me to another, referred me to Cedrick and after spending 1 hour with him all issues were resolved.

I called concerning my payment method changing, questions on outside camera prices and functions and changing our WiFi connection for the alarm system. Everything was answered very well. I spoke with 2 reps and one of them went to the extent of asking other employees the questions he was unaware of. Service was very good.

I installed this system about two weeks ago and everything was working fine. Then I noticed that online access was very slow connecting to LifeShield. Then I try to use my IPAD and that also had problem, can't see all my options. Finally, I tried to use my Android phone app which worked last week, won't connect to LifeShield server. I called the support line and he said to Uninstall and reinstall the App. Still nothing. No access to server. HELP!

I needed proof of your service so that I could get a discount on my home insurance. On a three way call with Lifeshield, my insurance company and myself, I was told that you could not provide this information directly to my insurance company. So it had to be forwarded to me and I in turn had to forward to insurance company. Would have been a lot easier if sent directly to insurance company.

I am impressed with the ease of use and no holes in the wall and window sills. The assurance of knowing my home is protected has given me a greater peace of mind. My system has lost connection with the internet twice over the last two months that required me to call in after I went through the steps on your webpage. It is now becoming a concern wondering if my system is going to lose connection while I'm away? If this continues to happen, I will insist on speaking with someone about canceling my service. I cannot pay for a service that I cannot depend on to protect my home and my family.

I could not find a home alarm certificate through the web portal, so called customer service. The rep was very helpful and sent it to me immediately. Unfortunately, it did not come through in the email in a way that I could easily forward it to my insurance agent so I called back and she was very helpful and faxed it to me :-) I truly appreciated her efforts and it was all taken care of in a very timely fashion!

I called in about I accidentally set my alarm off. I wasn't sure I put in my code fast enough & I called in to see if police were called & I hadn't got call from LifeShield. I had to go through many prompts, on hold, then got a representative & was on hold again. Another Representative answered & I had to explain again. Rep did say I made it by 6 seconds but to speak to a Rep took too long.

The agent was very helpful. We troubleshot my base and he offered to replace it free of charge. I am frustrated that my equipment failed, but happy with your customer service rep that is addressing the issue. In writing this review, I realized that I am still paying for service while my system is no longer working. Please consider a monitoring credit while my system is down for faulty/failed equipment.

Technical support walked me through a number of troubleshooting steps, but quickly found that I had a faulty sensor, and was able to order me a new one.

The representatives I spoke with were very courteous and polite. They made the purchase process easy and streamlined, and as opposed to other services I recently looked into, did not try to sell me additional items I do not need. I am also a do it yourself type of guy and this service is perfect for me. I do not need someone in my home placing things I can do myself. The value also far exceeds any competitor. For a starting rate of $50 I am able to use a camera, motion sensor and cover 9 entry points as opposed to 3 entry points and one motion sensor for a starting rate of $100 from another service.

The rep that handled my initial call was Tom. Very nice job in explaining the product, service and cost. When I had questions about the installation, he was reassuring and set up the order with the option for me to have professional installation if I needed it at a later time. Ashley handled the set up piece. Again, very thorough and answered all of my questions. The relationship is off to a good start.

My system was never installed properly. Fire/CO2/CO sensors never worked, and had to be changed several times. Magnetic sensors keep falling off! I am not confident with this system and their monitoring capabilities!

I called 3 times and each time the tech who answered the phone (2 different people) were courteous and knowledgeable. They were especially patient with helping me even though I needed to call them several times to get the information straight (my fault not theirs). I have had several opportunities to call tech support since August 2013 and have always been very satisfied.

Had a problem with the system becoming deactivated. I called up the help number and within 5 minutes had the system back up and online. The Service Desk Analyst even explained why it may have been deactivated, which was helpful to satisfy my curiosity. Good Job!

Website very difficult to access due to search engine requirement in order to update credit card information. I have antivirus software on my computer and it should not matter which search engine I use. When finally accessed help by phone the billing help desk woman was very nice and helpful. Wanted to return the cheap tablet that would not hold a charge. Argued with the technician as he made excuses for the inferior equipment until he finally sent a return label.

The only problem we had setting up our system was the video... It did not help us much, so I had to wait a long time to get someone to help us. Now, we are very happy with the system. We will recommend it to friends and family!

I received the package via UPS on Wednesday. Saturday, I did the installation and was very happy with the ease of installation. My only complaint would be the amount of packaging on each piece, it seemed excessive. With a little help from support, I got the cameras working and was very happy.
