Do not do it. I read the reviews and they were good so I moved forward. My stuff showed up broken. Not only that, they promised a 20 foot truck and I could "fill it" but instead they said I had too much stuff and they wanted $4,000 more dollars to take the rest of my stuff. When they finally showed up 3-4 weeks later - they wouldn't take my stuff because the semi wouldn't fit. Then they wanted to shuttle and asked for $600. They promised "no surprises" and no stress. The opposite was true. I cried several times because I did not have extra money and I had to figure all this out in a most stressful time. Do not do it..... Please reach directly out to a moving company because what iMoving promises and what actually is delivered is POLAR OPPOSITES. It made me regret moving. Truly hate this company.

From the very beginning, the communication was not just bad, it was detrimental. Every update was inaccurate or an outright lie. I paid extra to guarantee pickup and delivery on the 11th and 12th. Instead, pickup happened on the 14th and delivery on the 15th. The guarantee meant nothing, even though it cost money. On pickup day, they arrived 8 hours late. There was no real explanation, just more false information constantly drip fed throughout the day. Even though same day delivery was clearly agreed to, they simply were not capable of making it happen for a move that was about an hour away.
The actual moving experience was just as bad. The driver showed up without basic supplies like tape to secure blankets on furniture. The helper, who was the only competent one there, thankfully had some and made it work. However, even that was terrible as the next day I found out the company did not even pay him. That created an even bigger problem on delivery day. The helper showed up at 8am, already upset because he had not been paid. The driver told both of us he would be there at 8am and did not arrive until 12pm. The helper waited about an hour and left, knowing he was likely not going to be paid anyway. So now it is just the driver doing the job alone, and he clearly could not handle it.
So that results in me having to help him unload, especially all the items that require 2 people. Wow I thought I paid for this and here I am doing work. This company missed guaranteed dates, lied repeatedly, failed to provide basic equipment, did not pay their own worker, and left the customer to finish the job. If you hire iMoving, be prepared for exactly what happened here, ibeMovingMyself.

I cannot say this loudly enough: DO NOT USE iMoving. What was supposed to be a simple 1-bedroom move turned into an absolute nightmare. I was charged $2,000 and given a confirmed move time of 1:00 PM on Saturday. That time came and went—no movers, no communication, nothing. After waiting an hour and a half, I finally called my contact at iMoving, only to be told the crew was in a neighboring town finishing another job and would arrive by 5:00 PM, and that the driver would call me directly. That call never came.
8:00 PM rolls around—still no movers, no call, no update. Completely ghosted. The next day—Easter Sunday, of all days—I had to start calling them again because I was required to be out of my apartment by the end of the day. Instead of solutions, I got the runaround, vague answers, and zero accountability for completely blowing off a scheduled, paid move.
This company took my money, failed to deliver the service, and left me scrambling at the last possible moment on a holiday. The lack of communication, professionalism, and basic reliability is shocking. If you value your time, your belongings, and your sanity, stay far away from iMoving. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had.
We’re very sorry for your experience—this is not the level of service we expect. Missed arrival windows and lack of communication are unacceptable. iMoving works with independent carriers, but we hold them accountable. We will investigate and make sure that this doesn't happen again.

The guys were great – professional, courteous and thorough. They moved a very heavy piece of exercise equipment downstairs for me even though it wasn’t moving, which saved me a lot of stress. 10 out of 10!
