On 12/1/08 I paid $4000.00 to the Sewing Studio in Farmington, NM for a new Husqvarna Topaz 30 embroidery machine that the store owner promised would also have free software. The software won't work 50% of the time, it freezes. The store says it's because my embroidery files are pes format, but the software is supposed to read pes! I've installed and un-installed the software 6 times to no avail.

I purchased a new Husqvarna Lawn Tractor on 2/10/09. I brought the mower home made a couple of rounds in which I noticed a wobble in the backend. Called the dealer and brought in the mower. They ordered a new rim and change that. I brought the mower home and it continues to wobble. I called back and then I asked for my money back or them to replace the mower and they refused. The regional for Husqvarna told me they are not walmart so they will not exchange the mower. He explained they wanted to show better quality by fixing it and I said I wanted another mower but they deep on with the same song and dance. He tells me they will replace the entire rearend. I speak to them again today and now they want to try other alternatives before ordering a new rear end. The dealer says he doesn't want to lose money so to shit with the consumer I guess it is. Husqvarna sold him a broken mower that was eventually passed on to me. Well, looks like the big guys can do what they will and want. I am out nearly 3000 dollars and a broken mower sitting im my yard with only 2 hrs on it. I spoke to customer service with Husqvarna and they pushed me right off to the dealer. They will not take it back on exchange which is what they told me. I know of another person who bought theirs at a different dealer and it was replaced so I know the regional that spoke to me is possibly not telling the truth.

We have owned the lawnmower for almost 4 years. We paid right at 2,000.00 for the mower. We took it to the shop for repair and was told the motor wasn't any good. It would cost about 1,200.00 to repair it. The warranty has been expired just over a year. The mower should last more than 3+ years. Is there anything I can do???

My mother and I purchased a new viking (Husgvarna 1100 from Carl's sewing center in the early ninties, Shortly there after he went out of business, the machine was very expensive but was a nice machine and has been used very little but it appears as if the main power supply has gone bad, this machine was to have a twenty yr warranity on certain things and life time on others? Who can a person get in touch with? I went to one sewing center and since I did not purchase the machine from them they ignored the warranity, they would not even consider looking at the machine for $100 up. This does not seem fair to me. What do you do when a person goes out of business? Who can you contact that would be honest with a person about a machine and fix it?

I bought my Husqvarna Self-Propelled mower from Mills Fleet Farm near Osseo Minnesota. Used it only one and the self propell went out. Took it back to a Husqvarna dealer and it was fixed again. Used it and once again the self propell went out. I have a very cheap MTD mower I got at Menards and it works perfect every single time. I have had noting but problems with the Husqarna since I got it.

I purchased a Husqvarna Rose sewing machine for $1,200, plus another $500 in attachments. From the beginning, the machine would delay sewing when I pressed the foot pedal and then suddenly start sewing rapidly. This isn't practical for detail sewing of any kind as it restricts the ability to control the detail and pace of the machine. I have taken it in for repair of this same problem three times without resolution or any feedback from Husqvarna. I submitted an email to Husqvarna through their corporate website and received no response.

When I submitted the machine for repair of this problem the third time, I included a letter with the machine explaining the problem, the history of the repair attempts, copies of the repair work orders and asked for the machine to be repaired or replaced. Again, I received the machine back with the standard maintenance check list and no reference of the problem being repaired or acknowledgement of the letter I submitted. Each time the machine is sent for repair, Husqvarna has it for three to four weeks.

I also called Husqvarna Customer Service today and asked for assistance with this issue. I was told that I should ship the machine to the factory at my expense and they'd advise me of what they'll charge me to fix it. At this point, I am considering taking this to Small Claims Court for reimbursement of the cost of the machine and attachments.

The cost of this problem for me has been (1) the cost of the machine and parts, (2) my time and (3) gas for taking the machine to Loveland three times to drop it off and pick it up, (4) the loss of the use of the machine while it is in the shop for repair for three to four weeks each time I send it in for repair and (5) the personal stress while trying to resolve this issue.

4 years ago I purchased a Husqvarna yth1848 xp mower to cut approximately 3 acres of grass.(I do about half each weekend) This mower had issues from the start. First, the engine would slow when going up a hill and with the blades engaged. This was fixed under warranty and the kawasaki engine has been fine since.

However, I can't say the same thing about the blade platform. This has caused the mower to be in the shop every summer at least once every year resulting in bills more than $1000. Bolts fall off to cause the platform to not be held on properly, and the list goes on. This year, the roller fell off and was destroyed. Every year belts need to be replaced. I was thinking that a Husqvarna product as this would be quality, but I've been disappointed. Despite the good engine, I would stay away from this mower.

$1000 in bills over the past 4 years.

Purchased a new Husqvarna mower around June 2005. In early 2007 the mower seemed to be running on one cylinder. We called the company we bought it from since it was still under warranty. The serviceman found the rod had come off the rocker arm. He repaired at no charge.

A few months later the mower was doing the same thing. We took the mower to a nearby Western Auto to check out. It seems the same thing had happened again. We informed the service tech of previous problem. When they contacted the company about problem they said the engine had a problem if this had happened. The first serviceman should have replaced the engine. The engine was replaced at no charge.

Then the wiring had to be replaced to match the new style engine. Now we have a mower with who knows what engine when it needs to be serviced.

Two weeks ago the mower did the same thing. I had watched the first tech work on the mower and knew where the rod was. I showed my husband he checked and sure enough the rocker rm had come off the rod. He reattached and got it to run again. I believe there is a problem with these motors. I will try to get the Western Auto to check out if this happens again.

I purchased a new mower that should have lasted 7-10 years. Now I have a mower with a motor that didnot originally come in that mower with different wiring, And I still have the same problem.

I recently purchased a new Husqvarna ride on tractor model number YTH20K46 and an extended warranty through the seller. This purchase was made approximately 60 days ago (June 2008). The tractor was delivered by the seller with scratches all over the body of the tractor.

When I attempted to start the tractor nothing happened. I contacted the seller and they arranged, with some hesitation, for a replacement tractor to be brought to me. This second tractor had a two to three inch tear in the metal engine cover where the metal had been bent by the manufacturer. At this point, it had been some time since my grass had been mowed so I accepted the delivery.

Recently, however, the Reverse Operating System (ROS) stopped functioning. This system is designed so that the mower cannot be placed in reverse unless the ignition key is turned to a special position. I contacted Husqvarna through their email support option and received the following response including the addresses of two authorized Husqvarna repair shops some distance from my house (removed):

For safety reasons, we are unable to provide repair instructions outside the scope of the Operators Manual to consumers. Please take your unit to an authorized service center to insure that the unit is being repaired properly. The service dealer will also inspect the unit to be sure that there are no other repairs needed. We apologize for any inconveniences.

I then replied that this answer was not sufficient and that I was not going to transport the tractor to a repair shop at my expense due to the multiple problems with this product and the recent time since purchase and received the following response:

Attached is a copy of the warranty statement in regards to our policy. If your mower was purchased within the past 30 days, please contact us. We will need for you to fax a copy of the receipt. If not, please adhere to the guidelines of the warranty policy.

I then called Husqvarna support and talked to a very unfriendly customer support person who told me that they would not cover the transport costs as I had not purchased the extended warranty through Husqvarna. I asked to speak with a manager and was told that they would tell me the same thing. After insisting on being transferred several times I was eventually transferred to a voicemail system with no greeting. I have yet to receive a return call from anyone at Husqvarna after leaving a message on this voicemail.

I should mention that this is not the only Husqvarna product that I have had a problem with. Prior to my mower purchase I had purchased a Husqvarna leaf blower model number 125B. Within two weeks of the purchase the pull cord starter handle ripped off of the cord when I was starting the blower. I returned the blower to the store and exchanged it for a new one which has since functioned satisfactorily. I have contacted the seller and they have agreed to take the tractor back and let me exchange it for another tractor. Obviously I will be switching to a different manufacturer.

on june 15,2004. i bought a new husqvama tractor, when they devilered it, it had a sheared off bolt, they took it back and fixed it, short time later, it stopped running, they took it back, this time they said it was a warped head, when they returned it, it was smoking, they said it would stop soon, it never did,

last month it made a noise and stopped running,i guess it was a thrown rod or bearing, i tried starting it, it spun real fast like something was disconnected inside, i have always taken real good care of this tractor, changed the oil and filters when i was suppose to. now here i am, with a dead tractor.

this is two years after the warrinty. i have other tractors in the past with no troubles like this one. i an retired and can't afford a new engine,. is husqvama big enought to fix this tractor, as they should?

I have owned my Z54-26 mower since August 07. It has been in several authorized repair shops forat least two months and inoperable even more. The last shop made it clear they did not want to work on it since it sat there in the rain for two weeks, and it would be several more weeks before they could get to it. No replacement loaner in the meantime, since we bought it at the BX at Robins AFB in Ga, and not from them.

I paid $3199. less than a year ago and have an inoperable mower. We have had both Hydro pumps replaced by two different dealers, and told one of those rebuilt,(not new) pumps will need to be replaced again! In the meantime it will cost us $1500. dollars to keep our properties mowed while we continue to leave it in these shops , who have made it clear we are at the bottom of their priorities. We have two properties with a total of 6 acres that cost us $500. to have mowed.

We have called the factory several times and told sorry we can't help !First we spoke with Brian, then Corey who advised us to go back to the BX, where we bought it. The manager of the BX, Paul, gave me a website where we filed a formal complaint with the factory. We attached a photo of the paint peeling off the deck taken in October 07, and a chronological record of all the events. The original photo was sent to Brian last year with no response from him. We just received a negative, generic, form reply to this complaint, with no reference to the details.

We bought the Husqvarna because of the reputation, now I am out $3199., have an inoperable mower, and can not get dealers to work on it, (maybe in a month or so-maybe..), I am paying around $1,000. a month to keep my yards mowed! After going through 3 Hydro pumps in 10 months, when we only mowed less than five of those months, it appears we bought the ultimate lemon.

I purchased a new Husqvarna Model 7021RS lawn mower. On its very first use, the mulcher plug (flimsy plastic) was shredded after mowing over a couple of pine cones that were lying in the grass. No phone number is provided to contact Husqvarna directly, and trying to use their web based email/contact system puts you in endless loops. I am very disappointed in Husqvarna's consumer support system, and also in the flimsy and poor design of the mulch plug attachment. I would hope that they would make a heavier duty replacement part. Other than this one part, the mower has operated in a flawless manner.

I will need to purchase a replacement part, but the design is so poor that it may only last one mowing as well. Also - it is extremely frustrating trying to contact the company.

The transmission on my lawn tractor went compleatly out. My lawn tractor is only a couple years old. I was not to pleased but decided to take it to a dealer that i do a lot of business with. I purchased this lawn tractor at Lowe's. However, seeing how the warranty is already expired I did not think where I took it for repair mattered. It has been a month and a half and the dealer cannot get parts for the transmission from out sourced supplier. However the lawn mower still says Husqvarna on the side. I was mislead by thinking Husqvarna stood by their product for quality and service if something went wrong.I will tell every person I ever come in contact with that is thinking of buying a Husqvarna product not to do so.

I have not been able to mow my yard for a month and a half. I had to use a bush hog because my grass was waist high. The bush hog does damage to my yard because it is not designed to mow yards. I am very upset with product and service.

I got over 12 years service out of the last riding lawn mower from sears. but decided to buy a bigger and heavier lawn mower once I built my new house. I bought a 48 cut 24HP Husqvarna lawn mower from lowe's. Within the 1st year I had trouble starting the mower. I also noticed after using it for a while the mower cut the yard unevenly. Later that summer after taking it to an authorized husqvarna repair shop was told the spindle needed to be replaced. this however, did not even out the cutting. the lawn mower also occassionally left uncut gaps of grass between the 2 cutting blades. At the start of my 2nd year of use the mower would not crank.

I took it to the shop who adjusted the valves and completely serviced the mower as they had done in the previous year. When I brought the mower home I had been cutting approximately 20 minutes when the mower began to lose power. I disengaged the blades and attempted to drive the mower to my driveway to examine it but the engine began making a racket and the mower locked up. It actually slung a rod. I took it back to the repair shop and after examination they determined that the engine had blown up and slung a rod. this cracked the housing and all. I was informed that the mower was no longer under warranty.

I had owned it for 2 years and 8 months and the warranty is good for 2 years only. This is totally unsatisfactory. Husqvarna HAD a reputation for being a good quality heavy duty product. I've recently learned that there are many other who have experienced some of the same problems with their husqvarna lawn mowers. I am in the process of pursuing husqvarna to make it good. I am posting this simply to give others fair warning. I would not recommend buying a husqvarna riding lawn mower.

To replace the short block will cost over $1,100. To buy a new engine will cost nearly $1,200. In either case, a lawn mower this new should NOT be having these kind of issues.

I purchased a husqvarna selfpropelled lawn mower a little over two years ago for a listed price or $379 from Sears and expected it to be a quality product. It was a selfpropelled walk behind modes with a hi-vac bag. after several seasons of use the bag failed. The door grassbag part (made of plastic) would no longer support the metal rod connecting it to the opening making it unusuable.

I contacted sears for nearly an hour talking to four different tech's /support help and they said the product was out of warranty and gave me the incorrect number to husqvarna to try to resolve the matter. In my forty years of using mowers with bag attachments never have I had a bag fail after two seasons of use and I did not expect such poor service from one of the most expensive mowers that sears sold.
