Drain line was completely clogged and in less than an hour they had the job done and cleaned up. They also removed all the water that was sitting in the sink and dispose of it the proper way. Very good job.

I feel as though I have found a friend in HomeAdvisor. It is always tricky for a senior citizen to find help for those not-so-large jobs. The electricians who came today were absolutely GREAT! I plan to use HomeAdvisor to find a stucco company.

Cleaning up and hauling away heavy debris from yard - including fallen trees - needed cut/branches and brush debris - heavy cleanup that we were not able to do ourselves. The company that was recommended did an amazing job. They were also very professional and reliable. Thanks to you for having them on your list of recommendations. I was satisfied with the painting job but upset that precautions were not taken to warn me that my kitchen would be covered in dust from the work done in the living room, dining room, and foyer. My kitchen cabinets are open and I had to remove my china cabinet from the dining room, so all my china was on my kitchen table. I am now washing all my dishes, glassware, china, table, chairs, stove...!! What a mess!! I could have put plastic sheeting in the entry way to block the dust if someone had told me it would be this bad! I was downstairs the whole time, no one warned me! Hope this review saves someone else from a huge clean up job!!

Made appointments w/ 4 tint people. Big difference in service (residential window tinting). Cheapest not the best. Pleased with results. Other service folks seemed more interested in car tinting. Glad there is a guarantee from 3M, doubt they will go out of business, even though the local service folks might.

K&M Pressure Cleaning were very professional and went above and beyond to clean the entire outside of my home including my roof. They covered all my plants to ensure they would be safe. The chemical smell does linger. I would definitely hire them again.

Sanding, filling wood, creating a curved wooden top for one of the support posts that had rotted out, placing flashing on the tops of those support posts to prevent further damage, caulking, washing, and painting. I am a business owner that decide by mistake to be part of Home Advisor and really was a terrible mistake. First, the sale department lies to me on how they work. They charge an entry fee of $350 plus a percentage of profit for every job they give you. The problem is that sometimes the job is not accurate, many times the job is already completed by another contractor or nobody ever call back because the lead that they send you does not exist. The problem here is that no matter what, the business owner always will get charge for all the lead without no refund even is the job is not real. Therefore, I will like to let the other business to warning about how this website lies to the people. I will not recommend this business at all.

For 3+ months and about $700, I have tried to get a job out of the leads HomeAdvisor sends me. Many are phone numbers with an extension even though they say it is a homeowner. No one picks up even when we have responded immediately. I get charged for the lead. The admin time spent trying to get a refund and the general frustration just an unpleasant experience but more than that out of pocket. The 2 leads we went to, one acted like we had the job, the client asked for additional work that we hadn't looked at and we needed to go again which is fine if you have the job and asked us several times if we could start that week. By Friday, I called and they already had someone else working and it seemed like the General Contractor who was working on the project just picked our brain and did it himself.

I tried "HomeAdvisor" because I have a small project that I was looking to get prices on for in the future. First, they REQUIRE you to put in your home address. This is EXTREMELY unsafe. Before I hand out my home address, I want to investigate the business that is a candidate for the job. They also require a phone number. I don't want people calling me. If they can't handle this by email or via the site, then I don't want to deal with them. But there is no option for initially dealing via the site or email.

They put in a new thermostat and removed all of the old equipment and cleaned up the area. Showed me where the filter is located.

Looking for appliance repair. This is the second time I have used HomeAdvisor, and I find the service easy to use, HomeAdvisor saves me time researching for the service I need that includes phone numbers in one location. I will continue using HomeAdvisor when I need services since I am a widow and need the services to maintain my home.

I have used HomeAdvisor in two different states. Just recently I used them for a recurring pest control service. Sure I could have done that myself. Guess what? I did and was not pleased with ones I had hired and none of the ones I had hired had shown up on HomeAdvisor's list. So, if I had used HomeAdvisor first, I would have saved me a lot of grief. I'm very pleased with the company I selected from HomeAdvisor.

I checked first online and found many service providers that can repair my ice maker... Most showing mixed reviews. Alacrity was the only approved service provider through HomeAdvisor for fridge repair in my area. Don't bother calling anyone else... These guys are great. Next time I'll just look at HomeAdvisor first.

Florida Blue Water well and pump service was very good. They replaced a foot valve at the bottom of the wells drop pipe. J. ** and his helper were very friendly and respectful. I enjoyed having them working on my well. They did a very good and timely job.

Only received 2 recommendations and would have liked to have had at least 3. I knew about another exterminator from a real estate club I'm in but hope that your service is less biased. One of the exterminators you listed was pushing an annual service so that turned me off.

Had pool cleaned and set up regular maintenance. Got a quote for a new timer which was reasonable-plan to do that in the near future. Kept appointment and was on time. Excellent quality work for the money. Pool is sparkling clean and ready for family.

GlideRite did an excellent job with replacing the rollers on a sliding glass door. I was impressed that they tried to find a cheaper fix before replacing the rollers. Ultimately they had to replace the rollers, and they did so with an improved set over the existing rollers. They were very courteous, professional & fast.

Oscar was very friendly, prompt and gave me complete and affordable estimates on work (replacement of faux rock and building paver steps) done and how long it would take to do the work. He found additional cracks in the faux rock and replaced them. I advised me about why the rock failed and did a very good job of replacing it. He was cognizant of my need for steps to the front of my house and around to the back yard and made it safer for me and my guest to enter my house and work in the yard as well as improve the exterior of my home.

Good contractors but the only part of the experience I did not like, is the automatic phone call once the contractor was located. I would rather see who I am dealing with rather than immediately forced to deal with them. I don't remember having this problem the last time I used the service.

When I questioned why I was told by customer services that none were available in my area. I live in Tampa so really? They suggested if I wasn't happy I should go out to account settings and select to opt out. I was very surprised by this entire conversation. Will not use them again.

I was surprised with how fast HomeAdvisor responded to my request for information about HVAC companies. As soon as I clicked SUBMIT, several companies that fit my needs popped up on the screen. Also, I was surprised at how quickly those companies contacted me by phone. Very impressive. We obtained quotes from four companies (all reputable) and chose one to do our install. I was very pleased with the install as well. I definitely will use HomeAdvisor again.

Two men called back, one immediately, when we asked for estimates. We chose the least expensive but may have chosen him even he was the more expensive because he was so earnest and eager. Some that we called never responded.

I signed up for HomeAdvisor to get the names of some local contractors to do some roof repair on my house. I received a few contacts but none of them were suitable so I decided to go another way (fix it myself). Unfortunately, for the next year (and continuing) I receive at least 10 calls a week from contractors looking for work. They won't stop regardless of what I do or how I respond to them. I've tried contacting HomeAdvisor to get them to stop giving my contact info out but they have been unresponsive. It's a scam. They appear to be selling my info to anybody and everybody without regard for my non-existent needs. So, in short, if you are lonely and need someone to call you regularly by all means, sign up for HomeAdvisor. If not, I suggest that you stay far away from them.
