Our case was an emergency. The garage door collapsed, with our 2 cars inside. Precision Garage Door Service responded immediately. They came back to take out the old door, so we could have access to our cars. The estimate was fair and the whole process took about 3 weeks.

I learned about HomeAdvisor while watching TV. I decided to give them a try. I was looking for estimates on a project. After entering my information and hitting send on my computer my phone rang. It was a contractor. When I decided to have my carpet cleaned I knew that HomeAdvisor would be a good place to start. They had a list of companies in my area and ratings from satisfied customers. I was happy with my choice.

HomeAdvisor does a great job matching your needs to the right professional. I have had excellent experience with all the contractors I have hired from HomeAdvisor. I have used HomeAdvisor for three jobs so far. And I plan to use them again in the near future. Thank you HomeAdvisor.

Dario from Miracle Tree Service did a great job removing my tree from my backyard in less than an hour. My only complaint with him was that there was a miscommunication on our appointment date, and his late arrival. Other than that, I am very pleased with the service he provided.

Results for professionals were a little scarce but it understandable as it is possible that not too many companies may associated with HomeAdvisor. This is an excellent company. The work was completed fast and they know what they are doing. I did not feel ripped off at all as some plumbers can do. After lots of research, I am happy I chose them. The plumber was clean and cleaned up. He was straightforward and professional.

Broiler repair. I was able to request a quote from the HomeAdvisor site. I got a call the next day and had the job done in a week, quick and efficient. I would use this method for future needs. The list of suggested pros for the work needed is good to look through and compare companies.

I needed to have a few windows repaired. The hardware springs were no longer supporting the upper window. I didn't need the windows replaced (as most window businesses want to do), just the springs. I was able to get that done through HomeAdvisor.

New roof -- HomeAdvisor provided qualified contractors and did follow-up on the bidding and construction process. I would recommend HomeAdvisor for those who would need qualified contractors. I do feel there was perhaps too many calls as the project proceeded but that could be they wanted a satisfied customer.

Tree removal. I received my first call from the contractor within 1 hour of posting my job on HomeAdvisor. They did a very professional job and finished ahead of schedule. I received updates from HomeAdvisor during the entire process. An excellent website that I will recommend.

Quickly found several electrical businesses and almost immediately got a callback from the business. They came right on out, as well. Was pleased that I didn't have to TALK to HomeAdvisor, but rather the business that was going to give me an estimate was the one that called.

Firm that was referred by HomeAdvisor was responsive, well equipped, professional and well vetted (Licenses, Insurances etc.). HomeAdvisor portal was easy to use and the email sent were not so frequent as to be annoying. I was anticipating a few more choices of firms for this location but only two were provided. Would have preferred four (no more and no less). Have used HomeAdvisor for another installation and awaiting work to be completed. For this plumbing repair about six firms were provided, which was a little too many.

Simple. HA saved me $1,000 on a tankless water heater I was having installed. The other company that the manufacturer recommended overcharged me for an installation of water heater I was buying separately. The 3,000 price tag wasn't sitting well with me and I saw the HA commercial and decided to give it a try. Thank God I did. Now I'm getting a better water heater AND install at $1,000 less than the other company.

Lawn Care. Helped me from scratch to finding someone that was right for us for our specific needs (Lawn Care). Within just a few days, someone was at our door to complete a detailed analysis of our property. We also had a competing quote by email. What was of particular note was that companies that I reached out to just sent a robotic email with no further contact. They failed to obtain my business and were eliminated from my choice list.

The two vendors I have found so far through this service have been awesome! They were honest, friendly and provided quality services. They also made sure that we were very satisfied with their work. There was no pressure about hiring their services so I would hire them again if necessary.

He patched up the cement, smoothed out the surface before doing a two-tone staining to match the color of our deck. We will use him again in 2 years to re-apply a sealer to protect the cement.

What do you do when you have severe damage to your house and don't even know where to start. Online of course. This service was great in providing ratings, options, and certification/recommendations. I was able to find a repair company the same day, one that could work with insurance, and get repairs started ASAP.

This is not our permanent residence, so knowing good local repair services was not really very feasible. Went online and HomeAdvisor connected us with a local repair service that did an excellent storm shutter repair job, with both short notice and limited time frame to do the work. Would not have happened without HomeAdvisor.

I tried scheduling a different lawn care business and even called them first but, they never responded. Prelow was a little higher than I wanted to pay but, they are actually very competitively priced. This was my first experience with HomeAdvisor. It was a little bumpy but, in the end I was pleased.

Deck contractor responded, scheduled an appointment to quote project, and then failed to show with no show/no call. I could not recommend or actually rate this contractor.

Pricing was fair and the work professionally completed on time and within budget. My only gripe is that I wish pros wouldn't start calling me the second I initiated a request or need for service. I'd prefer to read the background and reviews of all recommended pros and call at my convenience.

I used HomeAdvisor's recommendations from online reviews to hire a company for HVAC. All went extremely well. Then, I completed a form to get "three" quotes for painters. My request was to contact me by email. My mobile business phone rang for two days from at least 10 painters. I didn't like that my cell phone was provided or the repetitive calls. I will not use this process again. I will use reviews.

Royalty Roofing did an amazing job. They were our insurance advocate right from the beginning. They took over and handled everything so I was stress and worry free. Helped me pick out the right color and shingles for our roof that added a new dimension to our home. The team that worked on our roof did a great job of making sure everything was cleaned up afterwards.

Everything was great. The repairman actually showed up early and promptly fixed my problem at a very reasonable cost. I was out of town, so he immediately emailed me my invoice and told me to pay him when I returned. My sprinkler system is working fine now.

We called for a clog and someone was there within 2 hours and had it fixed in a jiffy! We were very happy! The man was pleasant, worked clean and was very fast! Every time I look up something that I needed to find someone to fix home repairs and carpet cleaning, I received a great list of people and they all responded back really fast and were very helpful. Everyone was able to give estimates of the cost over the phone.

First off, leads cost between 50 and $90 a piece. 75% of the leads that you get and call, will never call you back. The leads that do call you back get up to five different contractors bidding on the same job. So the chances of getting the job are drastically decreased. But either way you must pay for the lead. After one year of advertising with HomeAdvisor I spent $1190 on fees and charges including the yearly cost of $289. I did not get one single job all year and they auto renewed me and when I tried to cancel and get my money back for this coming year they denied the request and said There's nothing they can do.

Painters were excellent. Previous projects not so much. Gardeners did not arrive when specified, nor did they call. I called HomeAdvisor but they were not helpful at all. Finally I got in touch with gardener and they showed up hours late. It was an older woman with 2 kids. She didn't know a weed from a plant. Then told me how hot and tired she was. Didn't do the job. I complained to Home Advisor but they didn't seem to care. Another company I hired to do construction was not knowledgeable at all and did a horrible job. Paint Works Wonders is going to fix their errors and recommended someone to redo everything they did. Not real happy with Home Advisor. They do not vet companies very well.

I got a good quote and hired a company to patch 2 chips in a porcelain bathtub knowing that the color probably wouldn't match, but was very surprised how good it turned out. He also did an additional repair on the towel ring that came down which caused the chips. I didn't want to pay to re-glaze the entire tub. The technician came on time and spent more time than I expected for the amount I paid, which I appreciated.

They came out, took down the old broken door, put up the new one, hooked our opener back up and were on their way. The new door is awesome. We are happy. We would've given the company perfect scores but they messed up our delivery and we had to wait an additional week to get it installed and we wasted a day waiting for a door that wasn't coming. I received so many within the first day that I started deleting without reading them and ended up deleting one from the company I was planning to hire. Please minimize the number of emails that are send. If the professional that you recommended had not done such a superior job, the emails from HomeAdvisor would have turned me off from using your service in the future.
