HomeAdvisor followed up throughout the process making sure I was satisfied with the companies and whether I needed further assistance. They also asked if I had additional projects they could help with. I strongly recommend using HomeAdvisor.

HomeAdvisor recommended several companies for our garage door needs. Each company had high ratings and so we just randomly selected a company to hire. Our experience was great! We have used HA for many projects and have ALWAYS been pleased with the services. HA takes the guesswork out of who to hire by providing company choices that have already been investigated for their quality of work.

Fast, courteous, superb referral to meet my painting needs. Within minutes of submitting a request I had multiple responses including a phone call. I was new to town and on a tight timeline to get a painting job done before I moved in. HomeAdvisor helped me with my needs, I will be a repeat customer!

He did an excellent job mounting 2 TV's on my wall. He did it in my family room and bedroom. I am very happy with his service. I would recommend him to my family and friends. I feel very confident in everything he did in my home today.

Got a call within minutes from and scheduled tech to come later in day. A bit high on cost but you get what you pay for. Frig fixed and tech gone within 2 hours. Chandelier assembly and installation - I was very please with the work. I got a call from an electrician right away and set up an appointment which was only a couple of days away. The electricians were very friendly and made sure I was happy with the job before they left.

You need to give the customer more choices other than those that "fit" the project questionnaire. The choice to "View Only" should NOT automatically trigger an email to a potential contractor since one may not be actually ready to hire. Also BBB ratings would be helpful.

All three contractors called within 24 hours. Roof had leaks in the gullies around a dormer and the chimney. The one I selected came that day and repaired all 4 areas including tuck-pointing some cracked mortar on the brick above the front door.

I am extremely disappointed with the level of professionalism demonstrated by the sales associates of HomeAdvisor. The initial contact by phone was friendly, however, as contact went further, it only became unprofessional and downright obnoxious. Generally they are very good. HA follows up and I think they do a very good job. I like that you can get reviews. I prefer to develop a "working" relationship with a contractor. I use Home Advisor when I can't go to my existing contacts or have had it with a contractor due to no communications, lack of basic response or quoting high prices. The only complaint I have is the real fast response guys at HA I have found to be expensive, not always, but enough times. Then you are kind of wasting your time showing them what you want done. The attitude on quoting seems to sometimes be, toss enough high quotes against the wall and if it sticks I do real good. Not for me. I want a reasonable fair price out of the gate. I don't let them "go fishing" so they can then adjust what the high quote originally was. Quote your best price.

The website works well and connects me with the contractors. The quotes are not always accurate. HomeAdvisor follows up to make sure the jobs were complete. In the future, I hope they have more contractors to choose from to get better pricing.

Lynoko Garage door repair - Replaced Garage door torsion bars on a 18 Ft by 8 ft garage door. Showed up on time, answered all my questions and did a professional job for a fair price. Made good recommendations on upgrading garage door components with a five year warranty on all new parts.

HomeAdvisor sent Kings Chimney to my home. Kings told me I needed a new chimney cap and I paid them $500. They took my money, never returned, and I later learned from another company that I already had a chimney cap. When I informed Home Advisor about the scammer stealing from customers, they continue to give out this company as a referral. STAY AWAY FROM HOME ADVISOR UNLESS YOU WANT CRIMINALS COMING TO YOUR HOME. Kings Chimney are con artist, thieves, scammers, and liars and they focus on seniors. Home Advisor will send these criminals to your home.

I have been able to complete numerous projects on my to do list through the outstanding service providers that I have found at this site. I never would have found them otherwise. The prices were outstanding and the completion of the projects most timely!

The city inspector also said that it was a very professional looking and installed job. We plan to have them add a second heat pump unit within a month or so. Impressed with first job. The installation looks very nice and works very well.

That company gave an excellent quote and I hired them. The second of the three companies called me about 4 days letter and left a message on my machine. The third company Home Advisor referred me to never contacted me (that reflects on them, not Home Advisor).

I do get really concerned about giving my name, phone and address to a website to be broadcast to any number of vendors ~ I would rather see the vendors first rather than them have access to my information! First time emergency. 2 time I text them they said pick a day text me the day before & when you're on your, never heard back. Called $25 Plumbing next. They sent Don the next morning & text when they were on there way. I got Don who was on time. He did the job I about 3 1/2hrs. Would highly recommend Don & will request him for any future plumbing problems.
