    We bought 2 AC with a gap of 2 months 2 years back. The Coil went off just after an year of both AC and now have gone bad again. For one AC the front unit went bad and had to be replaced. Already spent coil repair money 2800, 2 times. NO third time again I have to pay the same amount. The front Panel costed me 2500. Spent in total 8400 for coil repair and 2500 on front panel. LG was better and there were no issues for first 4 yrs and I thought LG was bad. Hitachi Brand is really bad. Do not buy as coil might go off in 1-2 yrs and gas filling and repairing cost so much with only 6 months coverage.

    Hitachi is the worst company when it comes to providing services. I lodged a complain for my 1 ton split AC, they gave me a number of contact person. When I dialed the number it was out of service. Then I got another number of Mr. Amit **. When I called him he did not pick up. Throughout the day I waited. In the evening I got a call from him at 5.00pm. He said he will charge Rs. 500 for visit. But when I told him that my AC's problem is for leakage and I wish to change the location of unit, he said I will have to lodge another complaint with Hitachi.

    I bought Hitachi AC 1.2 ton and within 10 months it broke down with leakage in indoor unit coil. I raised complaint 25 days ago but they have not yet replaced it. Every time I call Customer service I hear a new excuse. Very bad experience. You will hear all the excuses starting from power cut to fire breaking out in their warehouse. I'm very disappointed with Hitachi product. I request you all that NEVER EVER buy Hitachi ACs and go for some other brand.

    I purchased the AC in 2013 and since then every time the dealer comes for service, he inform me to replace few items though it works fine. Also, the service is so poor, that good running AC is also becomes defective after doing general service by them. Then I have to give complaint and ask money for replacing defective parts.

    Recently my AC was not functioning at all. One service technician asked money of Rs.5000 for replacing main PCB and also told me to replace stabilizer mentioning that the PCB got fault due to faulty stabilizer. Thanks to online forum, after going through comments in online, by cleaning the filter AC is now working fine. That means both PCB and stabilizer are healthy.

    Seems they are cheating us to make money out of spares and also engaging poor inexperienced technician so that they can earn more money through spares as well as giving less money to the technicians. Totally they are cheating customers. Hitachi also not taking it seriously. Hence I recommend not to buy Hitachi AC. Better go for other good brands.

    I will request everyone not to buy AC of Hitachi, go for some other company, as my experience with the AC of Hitachi is very poor. I have purchased the AC in April-19, in this period 2 times the breakdown of AC occurred. When I make a complain to customer care response of customer care is very poor. No authentic reply was give, when service engineer form Hitachi came without repairing the AC he closed my complain. Again I raised my issue to Level 1 to level 2 on Hitachi customer service app, till date no response from there also, then again I lodged the complain. Then coincidentally the service engineer was same person who installed my AC then he told me that there is fault in AC part so he need to replace the for which he will send request.

    After that many times I have called customer care. Written mail to customer care again, lodged complain to level 1 to 3 but till date my AC is not working & I think I need to replace my AC due to poor customer service of Hitachi & I am planning to lodge complain in consumer forum. So, I request everyone not to buy Any product of Hitachi, the customer service is very poor, those days are back behind when Hitachi was providing good products. Now it is the worst company for AC I think.

    I have got 2 ton 3 star rating Hitachi Split AC, (Nagda Junction. Madhya Pradesh). Since the day we received it at home, we never enjoyed it. it has always problems, each time we spent money on fixing it but there is no fixed solution. There is no good support for services, none of the engineers are available. Hitachi AC are worst product and I will never buy it. The Quality of parts used in AC are cheap and bad. The local showroom/distributors never support but focus on looting money.

    Dear friend, I have purchased Hitachi ac 1.5 5 star model rsos518hceap (2019) from Garg Sales Patiala (authorised Hitachi dealer), which first gives me faulty ac having wires made in 2010. I asked how 2019 model has 2010 wire. Hitachi is cheating customers with fraud dealers, he even overcharged me by rs 4000/-, as made bill of ac for 49000/- whereas in open market it available only in rs 45000/-. I complained to Hitachi customer care about dealer overcharged money, they don't resolved my problem. I think Hitachi is a Japanese company, but it has even low standard than Indian companies. Never buy Hitachi product. Go with LG or others. Cooling is not up to mark even I have purchased tropical ac. High noise. Totally disappointed with Hitachi and its fraud dealer specially Garg Sales Patiala, Jourian Bhattian road. This is my personal advice.

    I bought a Hitachi 1T AC from Vijay Sales at Ahmedabad. The installation was done in a very unprofessional way and it appeared that the installer was interested in selling maximum copper tube. He placed the AC on ground with no bolting. When AC is switched on, there is a terrible sound from compressor. We logged complaints with Hitachi. Their service engineer came once, blamed the installation and went away. Further calls to Hitachi help no. Did not get any response. Now we are left with not able to use the AC for past 3 weeks at time of writing this.

    Within 2 month AC breakdown. After 15 days company does not provide service in warranty period due to non availability of parts. Do not purchase this brand - even not care for answer how much time required for repairing. In Android app level 1, level 2 & level 3 given. I will complained all levels but no one can answer.

    I bought a 1 ton Hitachi split AC <2 years back which after 1st year itself slowly stopped cooling. I have registered my complaint twice but no one has come to attend it and they closed the request by themselves. I have called them and the technician numbers they message at least 10 times but without any use. Please avoid buying Hitachi products.

    I bought a Hitachi air conditioner model kASHIKOI5100x RSB518HBEA. Don't ever buy HITACHI air conditioner. Noise level is more due to rpm is high compare with other brands. Better go with other brands like Daikin or O General or LG.

    My Hitachi air conditioner cooling has reduced and has raised a service request. In spite of multiple requests, none responded back or attended. Finally the service request is closed saying my number is not reachable. Did not expected this from a Japanese brand. Service request number and received msg from Hitachi is as follows.     I bought Hitachi windows AC few days ago and from the date of installation itself the blowers makes lots of noise and even after hundreds of calls to service center the problem has not been resolved. I would not suggest anyone to buy Hitachi AC.

    AC purchased in 2014 - underwent break down on 2.6.2019. Till date the defect has not been rectified in spite of repeated phone calls to every one associated with the company. Very bad experience with the call centre, service centre and the company. Nobody bothers about how one can remain with out an AC in this scorching summer with 48 degree temperature.

    I purchased Hitachi AC 15 days before from this date. After installation I am not satisfied with this AC. Because it cools for about 5 minutes and then gets off and hot air comes out. My suggestion to the new buyers not to purchase Hitachi AC. Now, I am preparing to go to the consumers forum if this product would have not been changed.

    My AC was not working properly, so I got it checked from my engineer. He said, that compressor needs replacement. As it was under guarantee, I lodged a complaint with the service centre of Hitachi. First, one engineer visited and says that there is problem in GAS. He says, he will come tomorrow, and fill the gas. Next day, some other engineer visits, and says "Gas is fine, but it needs service". I told him, that this was serviced about two months ago, but he insists for service. He serviced the A/C, but still after this, we are at same square. He said, "I will come tomorrow". Next day, some other engineer visits. He checks the A/C, and says it needs gas top up. He does the same, but we are still at the same place. It seems, that there are no qualified engineers, and they play with Hit-and-trail method, and charge from the customers for the service provided, which is not required, and does not fix the problem.

    AC works for 5 mins and then gets off.. It seems that your service provider is not having trained technicians and are unable to understand the issue. Today out of frustration I called the customer care and they again told that they will charge 500 for visit and will send the same guy for inspection. Are we fool. Hope this msg will reach to ears of someone senior at Hitachi and will get some respite.

    I bought a brand new Hitachi split ac from Krishan Lal & Co. NIT, Faridabad, Haryana on 3 Jun 2019. Sales person has asked nothing about installation site neither gave any installation instruction.
    the sale person committed the installation by same day.
    But it was not completed on same day.
    Next day on jun 4 2019 2 person came for installation sent by local ac service shop. They do not have any id mentioning it that they authorized enough for installation.
    They were carrying nothing like copper pipe etc. They told 15 feet of additional pipe is required.
    And asked for money to buy it from local market even before unboxing.
    When I asked that i can bring them a good standard quality of cu pipe then they denied. Shop owner also told me to pay them even before installation.
    It was strange as why some ordinary person is coming for installation of such a reputed brand.
    I denied the installation and want to return the AC.

    It is very wonderful experience of mine with such a branded appliance and with such an arrogant dealer.

    I have purchased split inverter AC Hitachi in 2018 but cooling is so bad. Anytime it can stopped cooling. Worst cooling experience. The servicing is also bad. This air conditioner is so worst. My money is waste. The technician is also lack of knowledge.

    I have bought AC 15 days back. Now it's stopped working. When I tried contacting them first I have to register as a new customer, which I try doing it but my area wasn't listed in their basic information page so I couldn't register as a new customer. Later I tried calling them up. But even the customer care guy had a problem registering my complaint cause even he couldn't find the district I live in. Then somehow he registered with nearby area. Later I received my complaint was registered and also received technicians number and promised it will sorted out in a day or two. I tried calling that technician but I was unable to reach him. Later I tried calling customer care. This time I found different number but again couldn't proceed further. All the numbers listed are neither not reachable nor responsive. I am still trying to contact them but god knows how long.

    Purchased Hitachi window AC some 1.5 months back. Since then have experienced lot of noise from the product along with cooling problems at times. The technician did come and inserted a piece of cardboard in the new machine stating that the fan might be loose... I wonder with these kind of products and services, how are they amongst the best. Highly disappointed and irritated.

    Based on brand value I have purchased Hitachi AC Last summer (2018). After one month of Installation observed ice formation after some time, ice is falling on the floor/bed. Raised complaint. They set some sort of part which was not attached properly. Then summer went off so stopped using AC. Once I started using AC this year summer (2019) still the same issue. Ice formation happening. I have raised complaint on 21st May 2019. Still today they didn't responded. I have made several followups but no use. Now AC is under warranty. They are not responding for my compliant. Warranty is going to be expire by this month. It seems they want to skip warranty date so that they can avoid warranty replacement.

    I have registered a complaint regarding low cooling and remote sensor malfunction with Hitachi customer support. For 9 days I have been contacting the customer support and requesting to send a technician, but no one came. It is really a horrible company with no technical support. They do not care the customer. They do not attend to any complaints. This is not the first time I faced problem, even last few time the same approach.

    I bought Hitachi 56000 split ac 20 days ago. The installation was very poor. After they installed they breaked the wing lock clip. Every time ac runs it sound tik tik because both wings intercept each other. I logged complain Hitachi guys comes, checks and they trying to fool us they say, "Kaam chal jaega," and all means we paid a huge money. Why should we compromised with the defect? I am really unsatisfied with the product and going to take a legal action against it.

    My Hitachi AC stopped cooling within 12 months of its installation period. Called up the store from which I bought and they said to contact Hitachi customer care. On calling up the "24/7 Toll free number" of Hitachi, I got no response for 3 days and finally when talked about my problem, they said to cancel my complaint because "it was too sunny and the next day was election". They had included it then that they'll positively attend us on today. But they aren't picking up calls again. Mind you, my AC is still eligible for free servicing and I feel they're trying to run out the eligibility period. What am I supposed to do?

    I bought Hitachi 1.5 ton split AC in 2016 and since from that time facing problem of cooling and wrongly installed by their person, having gas leakage now. Finally I called private technician. He solve the 60 percent problem and said this is the worst company nowadays because nowadays Hitachi is manufacturing in India. Now the quality is very poor so never buy Hitachi AC and please sell it out. You will not get any solution and you simply wasting it, time and money.

    I have raised multiple complaints on toll free number for my AC Service but no-one turns out. After several calls, a technician came and serviced.. it worked well for a week and again the same issue started. It's not getting COOL. Since then, it's more than a month now, we keep complaining to toll-free and also the service partner but no one cares it. Hitachi might be having a best product range but unless it has a good after sales service team it is useless. I started this follow up at the beginning of Summer and now in next 15-20 days even summer will be over... What is the use of having it? I have paid approximately 3000 for service but it lasted only for a week. I would suggest all to never ever buy this product as company don't care their existing customers. Every time you get a lame excuse for not attending the service call. I am seriously disheartened on this approach.

    Complaint lodged on 28 April, technician visited next day and said Display PCB has to be changed. It is most unfortunate that till today no one knows when the part will come and the AC will be rectified. Whenever I call customer care I get the reply that we have not received the part yet. Please bear with us. It is the biggest mistake of my life that I chose Hitachi. The Service centre has stopped picking up my phone. AC is under warranty.

    The call was lodged on dated 8th May, 2019 and problem was not rectified even after seven days i.e. 15th May, 2019. The delay in attending the call is unavoidable and frustrating to me. During this period, while calling to local service center, every time same answer is provided that “surely, tomorrow our engineer will take your call” but no one reaches at the site. Very bad experience to me about the service provided by M/S Hitachi, my AC is under breakdown.

    In context to above, after waiting for the long period of time, I have called tom Hitachi customer care on 13.05.2019 and explained the above said issue. Hitachi customer care executive has assured me that, "Your problem will be resolved today" and he has registered the complaint again (comp. no. **). I am very sorry to say that even though the intervention of the Hitachi customer care my complaint was not yet taken up.

    Sub;- A.C. (Invoice No. ** Dated 09/05/18) as product is having manufacturing defects. Ref.:- Complaints dated 10/10/18, 08/12/18, 08/04/19. The said split AC unit suffers from the following defects:- (i) That right from beginning, after installation of said AC unit at my place, it incur the problem of cooling (which is the main function of AC). (ii) As per the technician sent by the HITACHI Company problem regarding cooling effects incur due to leakage of gas.

    I have reported the complaint of the above matter to the showroom personally and on phone also several times, available details of complaint details is as follow:

    (a) Dated 10/10/18 - Complaint regarding cooling effect call no **. Your technician visited my house and inform that due to leakage of gas, cooling was affected so he refill the gas.

    (b) Dated 08/12/18 again I complaint regarding cooling effect vide call no. **. Again technician visited my house and inform that due to leakage of gas cooling was affected so he refill the gas. Then after as winter seasons started use of AC not needed until start March-19 when again seasons change and need of AC felt. We again start using the AC but to our utter surprise again the cooling problem occurs.

    (c) As stated above again same problem encounter. I make a complaint dated 8/4/18 again, technician visited again, he inform me the reason i.e. leakage of gas was the reason for negative cooling effects. This time he suggest me to use the nitrogen gas. I said I am not the expert - you being the expert, and when basic problem is regarding leakage of gas certainly the change of type of gas will not going to solve the problem. According to view of technician problem may occurs due to manufacturing fault. So I tell him as the AC unit having manufacturing defects I co. must replace the faulty units so he say talk with you. No.-1 so I personally visited the showroom ((1) Parshwnath Enterprises, 4-Parshwadarshan Tower-A, Near Shrenikpark Cross Road, Akota, Vadodara – 390020) where I meet one named ** and appraise her with all problem. She ask me to write to co. and she also say if possible I will also recommend co. for replacement. She further say that they are bound to provide service only till expiry of warranty period only then after charges as applicable will apply. Since last I visited showroom no further action is taken to replace the faulty unit.

    On account of aforesaid failure and neglect to replace the faulty unit I and my family suffers a lot in such a hot weather in spite of spending Rs 35,600/-.

    I have called at customer care helpline. They have logged complain and sent complain id on my mobile no. After two days one service provider came at home and told us that, "Your PCB is not working. We have replaced it and estimate we have informed you that evening and 3 to 4 days it's would done." But nothing done by them. I continuously follow up on 9th April. They have closed my that complain and calling at helpline. They have raised new complain and this time I have connected with Janardhan whom is senior manager in center. He also connected phone line with Renison who is senior technician at Ahmedabad division. After several discussion and assurance they have done nothing this today 13th May 2019.

    Hitachi service sucks. Delivered the damage indoor item and after 1 month follow up they replaced indoor unit. Now just after one month AC gas has been leaked and empty. After complain technician visited to refill the gas and left out saying they will come tomorrow. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO BUY HITACHI AC. RESPOND AND RESOLVE MY ISSUE.

    The problem with Hitachi is that it doesn't have its own service centre. It has outsourced its servicing to the local AC service centres, whose technicians know very well how to leave the problem as it is, instead of solving it. I am suffering with this servicing problem since the day the AC got installed in 2017 (by the way, they installed a faulty indoor unit).... Now the cooling coil is to be changed, for which that local service engineer left the AC open and disappeared. I can't reach him since the last 2 days. The customer care only registers a new complaint.

    There is no way to lodge a complaint to Hitachi directly for such issues. The main problem is, when it comes to AC servicing or breakdown, you are not dealing with Hitachi, per se. You are dealing with some local service agency. That's why, there is no accountability on their part, nor in Hitachi's part to rectify the problem. I am seriously disappointed with the aftersale service of Hitachi. If anyone is opting for Hitachi, I would strongly suggest them to think of other options. It's a terrible experience.

    I bought Hitachi Split AC in April 2019. When the Hitachi authorised technician came home for installation, he opened the packing and informed us that the packing does not contain product manual and warranty card. As suggested by him we contacted the dealer for the same, however the dealer suggested we contact the company. We called company official and till date we have received no response from them. The quality of installation was worse as there is water leakage which had already damaged our interiors. No technical advice was given by technician. We are chasing the service Center for water leakage also but they refuse to entertain us. It’s not even a week since our purchase and We regret having purchased Hitachi AC. It’s a company with no respect for customer and no customer service. They have only provided us mental headache in return for our money.

    I bought Hitachi Inverter AC in May 2018. Since day 1 Sensor are faulty, sensor take command of the remote occasionally. Company repair the part but problem occur again and again but they never change the faulty part in very first year. Further they offer 3 service in first year of purchase but I never get any service and they close the request in the system without sending anyone. Recently I register a service request on 24th April and to my surprised technician comes on very same day and offer to clean air filter of inner unit. I refuse that my request was for wet service. I again call customer care, she assure me proper wet service. Now technician call me and ask for ladder, mug, balti, 20 Mtr. water pipe, Water pressure machine and ask to remove all my table, chair and computer from the office.

    I again call to customer care and lady ask me that Hitachi only clean your air filter but not answer that why technician ask so much thing for only cleaning the air filter. Thereafter I get the call from technician using abusing language. I request all reading this, never ever think service from Hitachi or ready to get abusing language, harassment and mental torture.

    The situation has gone to serious mode – where yesterday engg visited at my location for investigation of sound but didn’t got to experience any and report was filed accordingly as ok. I requested them to spend more time but they were reluctant to leave at earliest saying that there is no use to sit for whole day. Thereafter after 15 minutes, engg came again for verification but we had to deny them entry due to urgent visit to medically ill person. Now we are no more interested to waste our precious time to get machine verified or investigated for long hour. This is complete harassment from your side & from the day the machine was installed. Also since it is an intermittent problem, so cannot be investigated on immediate visit of 60 mins. The video shared with you gives enough proof for sound coming from AC intermittently.

    I would give a zero rating to this inverter AC. If you couldn't check for its functioning and durability before set to selling the product then how can you just released the product in such a big country like India. Can anyone sue on this huge irresponsibility of the company? Bought the product for 54000 but couldn't give at least 5 year warranty and complaints are not answered in time. I regret on buying Hitachi AC and the circuit board problems are highly expensive that a normal family thinks of getting it repaired on the 1st line.

    I have purchased a 1.5 ton Split AC in 2016. I have registered several complaints regarding my AC but service centre peoples are trying to make some extra income from me. They always make fake promises and even they want to give services in name of Hitachi but unable to provide me the documents of the same. I have also registered a complaint regarding my phone number updating but since 3 years my single phone number has not been updated yet. Some Akshay is showing the owner of my AC. In 3 years customer care can't change my details which was done by the dealer from which I have purchased the AC. Seriously saying that this type of attitude seems to be a big hole on the Hitachi. In anticipation for a quick reply or a sooner resolution.

    Hitachi service providers does not even bother to listen to client's complaint. Those employees who do the work of cleaning the ac's don't their work properly. 1st time last year they have done cleaning but after that ac was started not working properly and when we talked with them they didn't even bother about that. Now this year Hitachi people have come to clean the ac now. Again we are facing the same problem of cooling. This is really disappointing. Hitachi should maintain its reputation.

    I bought 2 SPLIT 1.5 TR AC on 31/3/19 which were installed on 10 days back. One of the AC worked only for one night and stopped cooling the next day. After several calls and complaints at the customer care 2 people came on 9/4/19 and said that the coolant leaked. We checked the AC in front of them after they had repaired it, but it wasn't cooling at all and these guys were not ready to listen to us. After 30-40 min of persuasion they checked it again and filled some more coolant. Now again we are facing the same problem. AC was cooling on 9/4/19 and it stopped cooling on 10/4/19 and water is also leaking from it. Really fed up with the AC and the customer care people. I strongly recommend not to buy products from Hitachi as they send defective products in the first place and customer care people are too stubborn to help you.

    We buyed Hitachi inverter AC, in one year its fault occurred seven times, motherboard replaced. Now after one year again main motherboard fault, its cost around 10,000 Rs with one month warranty for new board, so I really frustrated. I sold the one year old AC to just 3000 Rs, its original cost 40,000 Rs. Even a 200 Rs bulb gets 2 years warranty, but 10000 Rs motherboard have only one month warranty and service person takes more than 20 days to identify the motherboard faulty, they are not professional. My advice: do not buy Hitachi inverter AC.

    Please do not buy any Hitachi air conditioners. The service is poor as even after 20 days we await a technician to figure out what is the fault in the split AC. The product is just bought few months back and already 2 technician have visited. When contacted to customer service they said that the case was closed. I don't understand how come when I informed them that the product still not working. They believe their technicians more than the customers I guess. I have given a fresh complaint again so that a new person comes but the same team comes again and again. I guess they fool people. Please buy O-General or Carrier henceforth.

    We have 30 Nos Hitachi ACs installed in our premises and there are lots of problem in ACs. For repair and maintenance we did a service complaint online to Hitachi customer care. On this request Hitachi technician visited our site and inspected the problems. But after inspection there is no proper service provided to correct the Air Conditioners. Hitachi service partners are not timely replying. Such type of services are not expected from Hitachi. If any of the Hitachi customer care reading this reply kindly instruct to your technician in Betul (M.P.) to provide proper services to customers.

    Most inefficient and unprofessional company. I installed VRF AC unit in my company. Within warranty period there was technical fault. Company said we will charge for the gas. It costed ₹26000. My unit was off for 12 days. Under pressure I had to pay. After warranty was over again broke down. They said, "We will not give service until you pay ₹70000 as AMC." After negotiation it was repaired. Again unit stopped 17 days. There was no response from Hitachi team working. They are blackmailers. Most noncooperative staff. After paying through my nose it was repaired. I want this review to reach the chairman of this company how your staff is working. I totally advise not to buy Hitachi product.

    I had very bad experience with Hitachi service in Hyderabad. My Hitachi AC got break down in month of May 2018 and Hitachi technician visited for service and without fixing the problem he just closed the ticket. Service technician informed some issue with board and he will change it. But after 1 week of waiting there is no response from anyone of them. The worst part is they will never bother about customer, I'm not sure why they sold the products without proper service and responsibility.

    I have purchased (1.5 Ton Hitachi Split Inverter AC 518CAEA with R-410A Gas) from Great Eastern Appliances Pvt. Ltd. on 2017 February. After Installation, The AC is working as per Normal speed & not provided high cooling & slowly the cooling is decreasing. However we think it is because of Inverter Technology and will provide the normal but electricity saving cooling. Our Electricity Bill is also coming at high. We take our every steps positively with the company still we purchased an Inverter AC not an ordinary AC, did AMC immediately with the end of the warranty for getting better service, Bought a Voltage Stabilizer from Hitachi company. But what we got still now. Only pathetic services.

    Hitachi Company tied up with a Servicing company named "Temperature Control". Every time we call Hitachi they send technicians from Temperature Control. That company every time charging us like at the time of Installation took Rs. 2650/-, then gas refilling Rs. 2750/- instead of AMC done for Rs. 2124/-. The First problem arose within warranty period when the cooling system is totally down and the technician came before one month of ending warranty period. That time he refilled Gas without anything charge. The time was Winter period, so we not using machine, then at the time of Summer when we use only one month or less, the same problem arose again and now we paid for Gas Charging Rs. 2750/- (with the warranty of 3 months for gas charging).

    We are not in Material AMC so we needed to pay that money and we thought the problem was solved, Technician also said that now there will be no problem. But within one month the same problem again arise. "NO COOLING". We are suffering very much in this warm temperature and my parents who really needed AC in this high warm temperature, also suffering.

    I have talked with their customer care executive repeatedly, escalated the matter to management level (Complain number is ** which I raised on 13th August 2018 and the escalation number is **), After that Technicians came twice, they both told that the problem (Minor Leakage which is not founded) should rectified at very first stage and told now I need to pay them Carrying cost of Rs. 750/- for carrying my machine to the workshop as well as another extra 750/- or 1500/- for leakage repairing, they are not sure about the exact cost.

    My question is how can I trust that company who is already took money twice from us without solving the problem. If the problem is detected at very 1st stage we didn't need to pay anything. So, what is the guarantee that They can solve the problem permanently this time. Why Hitachi company has not own servicing Center? Why they depend upon 3rd party servicing center who provide bad service intentionally, unprofessionally.

    I request you to repair the air conditioner at the earliest as such the delay in the repair is causing inconvenience to my family and myself, any health issues suffered by my family and me, due to non-availability of the air conditioner considering the fact the weather is quite unfriendly, you and your company would be responsible for the same. Nothing more to say, only expecting quick response from your end.

    I bought Inverter AC 1.5 ton on 23 March 2018. Till now I got the problem 2 times. Last time I had complained about PCB on 16 July 2018. Till today they not fixed the problem even I called them more than 12 times. On 9th June I got the same problem and they fixed on 26th June 2018. Within 4 months I used this AC 2 months. The service support is third class. I will not refer to anybody.

    Poor product quality when compared to its peers. Poor cooling system and is much poor compared to Air conditioners of its budget and even less than it. Servicing is just not acceptable. You will end up losing lot of money because of some cunning technician who will use your goodness to manipulate you and suck away extra bucks. The most frustrating part is to see them indulge in corrupt practices, for example, one technician came to reinstall my AC and believe me he screwed the entire installation and charged me nearly 6k.

    After he messed up the Installation, I requested them to correct their own blunders, they first of all made me follow up for a month and then asked me to pay for some errors they made and otherwise denied to serve. The people who are allocated in the customer care center are extremely poor quality people who lack basic courtesy and they are just not equipped and trained to talk over a call also, forget about the service and information. Technicians are next level of useless people who are actually third party service centers with which Hitachi have tie ups. They are literally dumb people and have no sense of their brand reputation, forget about the customer satisfaction.

    Now note that my review is based on some great patience to see Hitachi guys performing, but now I realize it's not some poor skill alone that makes me feel disgusted with Hitachi Air conditioner products and services, it's at a high level of comfort in market and have lost all pulse of the customer and quality. Overall I would urge you not to buy any product and services from Hitachi!! They just don't deserve it!!

It is a request. Pls take action. See how people are complaining, I am going through the same situation, They are as worst as any company can be.     I purchased the window WINDOW AC - 1.5TR HITACHI KAZE PLUS - RAW518KUDZ1 With one-year warranty for machine and 5 year warranty for compressor. Unfortunately, the compressor is out of order for last __ weeks, I complained about the same. After some days on two technicians visited my place to handle the complaint as they were supposed to, but they simply told me that the compressor is needed to replace, which I already know and mentioned in the complained already, they charged me Rs. 500/- as a visit charge for nothing. After that Hitachi closed my complaint by remark- “customer denied paying” but I have receipt that I paid to him.

    Again, next they came along with the compressor to replace with the old one but with the condition that I will have to pay extra for the capacitor and the gas charges and second visit charges again for the same complaint. I was disappointed with all this, I am being forced to pay for all that which got damaged due to faulty compressor under warranty period. However, I simply told the technician to just replace the compressor. Rest I will get done from vendor. But the technician refused badly and asking me to charge two time visit charges for the same query and gas charges. I was got shocked when I got to know that my complaint has been closed without resolving it and without my concern. I was already offended by technicians misbehave and this added worse. I enquired lot but no result, finally I was left with no choice except launching complaint in Consumer court that reference number is **. Still no response.

    I have purchased Hitachi 1.5 ton 5 start split AC, AC have not completed two years, but water is freezing on indoor unit, also support person come and blindly say, "Gas is finished. You have to pay approx 3-4k" and took the 500 rs fees. Very worst experience.     I have renewed AMC contract in the month of April-2018 for my Air conditioner. This Air conditioner gone down in the month of June-2018. I lodge a complaint on 10/06/2018. I was surprised to know that call was closed without attending, after that I again lodge a complaint on 13/06/2018. Now the call has been attended on 15/06/2018, service engineer has reported that condenser need to be replaced on paid basis. For which I have immediately confirmed that I am ready to pay towards replacement cost of condenser (despite my AC is covered in comprehensive AMC). It was told that condenser will be replaced latest by 20/06/2018 but nothing has happened till date.

    I have received call from all of the senior officials from HITACHI but my AC is not repaired till date. In the view of above, it is clear that these MNC companies like Hitachi is also like another east India company, they are just sucking hard earned money of Indians and not interested to provide the services. I must say that it is always better to purchase AC which are “Make in India”.

    I am from Aligarh, bought a 4 door refrigerator, with inverter technique, 670 litres capacity from local shopkeeper and totally disappointed with Hitachi company service. We called for a complaint as our refrigerator was not working due to some issue. When it was checked, we were told that the PCB of a panel need to be changed and since it happened after 1 year of purchasing so we were charged Rs.500/-.

    They told us that new PCB would be of Rs.10900/- and in front of that too much costly refrigerator, we agreed to get it repaired as soon as possible... And that too when it was the time of June days (worst summer time). But nobody came for the service till date even after of reminding so many times, MOREOVER in spite of understanding our problem, they just IGNORED us and STOPPED to RECEIVE our call... Is this the courtesy of this brand towards their customers? I will never ever recommend anyone to buy any product of Hitachi.

    I am from Sitapur district U.P. & buy a 2 ton inverter split ac 5 star rating from local shop M/s Vinod Enterprise Sitapur on 07.06.2018 & totally disappointed with Hitachi company as they don't give their service centre to trained staff. They hire 3rd party to install ac & they don't have no experience. From the first day cooling was not effective.

    They do installation but they don't insulate pipe properly by which leakage was held in my room. They claim that filter was clean automatically when you push button on remote & when I complaint after purchasing the unit within a week their idiot technician told me the filter is jammed that's why cooling is not proper but I don't think within a three days filter are jammed. They are not trained & I am totally disappointed with Hitachi company & waste my money to purchase this worst company ac. I make mood if they not solve my issue within a week. I go to consumer forum. Never buy any Hitachi company product as they don't give you proper service.

    I called up customer care on 05.06.2018 as my split a.c. (01 Ton) was not working. I got a complain No. ** against my registered number **. Next day evening it was checked and told me that PCB is to be replaced (I was charged Rs.500/- as it is more than one year old.) and app. Rs.5000/- for PCB will be charged when replaced. I agreed... Till date nobody appeared from the service centre despite the repeated reminders. Every time alternate mobile number is given for further query as they do not know when will they get the required spare part from the warehouse. Customer care is very sure to get it done tomorrow which never comes. I had the impression that Hitachi is number one brand in India and I am sure now that it is no brand in India. Nobody is bothered how you are living in such hot weather. Can SOMEBODY HELP ME IN THIS REGARD???

    My Hitachi split AC (I have purchased 4) stopped cooling. I called customer service to inspect and repair. The verdict given was oil has got into the gas pipe. The gas and oil had to be removed, gas and oil replaced in separate pipes. Maintenance done, the AC is not cooling. I paid Rs. 2750 for the service plus Rs. 650 for the visit to diagnose the problem. I wholly endorse other customer reviews of this product and service. Not worth buying this AC brand.

    Pathetic! **‬ The number given to call once the Hitachi AC is delivered. Please don’t waste your time calling, cause they will never answer regardless of how many hundred times you call. In fact one time the person even disconnected my phone. Finally the lady picks up the calls (most likely by mistake) and has the courage to say they never pick up the calls as it’s always ringing. Must be by tons of customers like me calling. So if you bought a Hitachi make sure the phone is with you 24x7 and you answer else you’ll never get the AC installed. If you are in no hurry to get it installed then buy a Hitachi and don’t bother calling them cause they will not answer!!

When I was purchasing your window AC about an year ago I was assured by your customer care representative and by retail seller that there will be no gas refilling issue at least for 3 years and it got the same issue within a month of purchase and this is the 2nd time I am facing the same gas refilling issue.

    I even mailed and registered a complaint and receive a call from your service manager and he was forcing me to close the complaint ASAP by getting it repaired, however, I clearly mentioned in my complaint to replace the product. The service manager said that do whatever you want we will not replace the product and will only repair it, however, we were asked to register. Complaint by the customer care representative and service to get it replaced.

    Hitachi, PATHETIC AND WORSE SERVICE EXPERIENCE RECEIVED FROM YOU. I have purchased an Hitachi Invertor Air-Conditioner from New Pankaj Electronics on July 19, 2017. I have faced troubles from the second day of installation of the machine and your executives have visited my place many times but the machine still faces issues. Your team has even changed the PCBs of my Air Conditioner but all the efforts go in vain. Every time I call and register complain, your executives come and promise that this time the machine will work properly and no further issues will come but every time the problem occurs.

    As per your area manager Mr Anuj ** my Current Call Number: ** problem is to be solved within a week but it’s been more than a month and no help has came yet.     I don't recommend anyone to purchase any Hitachi product. Because their after sale service is worst. I called for Hitachi AC service on Sunday. When I contact them for AMC they told me within 24 hrs. someone from service center call me. Then I called Monday. Again they say, "We send your complaint in priority basis. It will attend within 24 hrs." Again I call on Tuesday. The customer care executive told me the same thing. Then I call on Wednesday, customer care executive told me that, "There is no complaint from my side. You have to register a fresh complaint." I talk to him for at least 40 min and insist him to give me complaint number or give me the phone to his senior. But he told me that there is no complaint number and he assured me that now within 24 hrs. someone will come to attain my complaint.

    I asked for his name and number, he told me his name is Anup and he can't give his number. When I did not get any response from service person I called again and this time I told the executive that kindly give the line to Anup, The executive told me that there is no one in the name of Anup. And again he did the same commitment like Anup. So I think Hitachi just want to sell their product. But they don't want bother after sale service. So kindly think about Hitachi worst service before purchase any Hitachi product. I STRONGLY DON'T RECOMMEND TO PURCHASE HITACHI PRODUCT.

    We have bought Hitachi AC in the month of April 2017. From the starting we faced a lot of problems like 1. Low cooling 2-3 technicians tried their level best and at last the problem was resolved with several difficulty. 2. In the month of Jan 2018 we got a call from Hitachi regarding regular service, as our AC was under warranty for 1 year. A technician from Hitachi came in the first week of Feb 2018 done some service kind of thing. From then the problem started where the AC is not working properly, we tried to contact the technician who have done the service was unavailable. From then we have registered several complaints. 2-3 technicians came mentioning different problems that we need to change this part that part etc.

    For this we will raise complaint to the company soon. Till now our problem has not been resolved. Even I have discussed with the customer service they are giving different numbers of the in charge whose numbers are unavailable. I do have all the complaint registered messages with me and every time I merge complaint they are trying to convince is that they will resolve the issue within a week or 10 days. But it has been more than 2 months... I don't think so it will be resolved so better don't go for Hitachi as the product is a multinational but it won't provide enough service.

    One more tragedy thing here with the Hitachi is it didn't have proper or a standard technician. The technicians who were interacting with us (since starting I would have interacted more than 10 technician) are third party fellows who are not apart from Hitachi... Only once I have interacted with a person who is officially from Hitachi... That means they even don't have enough manpower and no standard or official technician with skill knowledge.

    I have a worst experience since I have purchase the AC a year past. I have file complaint regarding low cooling but the complaint have not been solved. A person who came at my doorstep did say "mam your AC has a problem and we can't solve the issue till we do not get order from the head and accepted that this was a defective set which is at my home set", but then too after so many complaint and one year warranty my problems were not solved. Nor your service was up to date nor your customer service executive give us a proper respond. I would not give one star. Also the experience rating this bad is your service. Hope after this you look to matter and take care of your customers. Otherwise there are many other company in market who provide better services at least than your company. The persons who read this is a humble request. Never go to purchase from this company as it is not satisfying the customers.

    Company is selling defected ac, and take repairing charges even the product is under warranty. A split air conditioner of Hitachi was purchased on 3.4.17 from Kaura Electronics. The above ac did not work after its installation and so many complaints was placed at your customer care telephonically as well as through emails. This time the company charged me rs. 600_ (even the ac is under warranty) for its repair which was also unsuccessful. As the device was defected / not working from the first day of purchase and the same thing was intimated to you and dealer, yet neither you nor the dealer took responsibility to Replace the defective ac. Please make arrangement to replace the ac and refund the unauthorized charged amount to me.

    Hitachi is one of the worst company as far as consumer services are concerned. They do not care about the servicing of the product even if it is in servicing period. Once the service period gets over they will start calling you to renew it. They will take you in confidence by giving you X number of free services.     Brought the highest model of Hitachi AC in March 2017. The remote controller is not functioning since April 2017. We made several complaints through customer care, had heated talks with managers, written several emails but all in vain. The service department has turned a deaf ear towards the customers. Had it been a typical high tech complaint the delay could be understood. The company had to provide a simple remote controller which they are selling with every new AC. Every time we made a call we got the reply that the part is not available. If the part was not available how could they sell new AC. The part was always available for new customers but why provide the same to someone who has already paid. The company will not be able to sell a new AC if the remote is provided to an existing customer.

    HITACHI AIR CONDITIONERS was once upon a time, a reliable product. Three years ago we purchased a 3HP reverse cycle. It has just blown up. We have paid for the fan to be replaced and still not working. The contractor told us that as from 3 years ago Hitachi moved its assembly line to China. The contractor said so many problems now as the Chinese are renown for cutting corners and leaving bits out or putting in a sub-standard part. He said if we want to get another air conditioner get a Daikin they are made in several countries, but get the one made in Japan. ;-( Wish we knew this before we spent $16000 HKD on this pile of rubbish.

    I had purchased Hitachi Split AC with below details, Hitachi Split AC -1.5 Ton, 3 Star Model No. RA4317 KWD (with Kit). Sr. No. ID4 / OD4. From M/S Saraf Cooling Company limited (122/1/A-2, Sarojini Nagar Kanpur-208005) on dated 04.05.2017. Supplier (M/S Saraf Cooling) charged 1000 INR for AC installation fees which was inclusive in total bill amount 32000 INR. Supplier had sent unauthorized and untrained professionals for AC installation.

    Total distance b/w indoor and outdoor unit is approx 9 inches. After 6 hour of installation time, they broken outdoor unit valves due to over tightening due to which gas gets leaked from AC unit. I purchased AC in month of peak summer during now after lot of phone complaints and reminder no action has been taken by the company till date which is very disappointing. Thereby I request the company to change the complete outdoor unit which is breakdown due to Negligence in installation of company personals for which I suffering.

Their customer care is fraud and they had told to replace gas, later their own person said it’s a circuit error and needs to be replaced, I am surprised right after warranty period after 20 days, the AC had issue. I complaint on 18/5/2017 and today is 3 /7/2017 No technicians come. I have call 10 times and they are saying today technicians will come.     I bought Hitachi 1.5 T window air conditioner last month. Supposedly a premium product at premium price. But the fact is quite the contrary. I had a horrible experience. The air conditioner is not working right from the first day. After complaint the technician checked and intimated that the gas had leaked! This is the state on installation! I bought for immediate use at the peak of summer. Since I had to proceed abroad I requested them to attend to the complaint after my return. On return I lodged another complaint. No one turned up for two days. On checking I was told that the complaint had been closed as we didn't respond to their calls on mobile. A blatant lie as my phone was always on and in good signal coverage. I have again lodged complaint. No response yet.

    Friends, Hitachi is one of the worst service provider. My advice is Never buy Hitachi. I will Never recommend anyone to buy this product as it is a complete waste of money and your time and peace of mind as well. If anyone from Hitachi management is reading this review, I ask you to take your damn air conditioner back and you don't even need to return my money as well. I intend taking other actions including going to court to teach you a lesson as my aim is now something else. Just clear my window so that I can install some other AC. Totally insensitive and unprofessional management. Even one-star rating is too high for them. Request anyone planning to buy Hitachi to think ten times before going ahead as it is only likely to give you mental trauma.

    I bought a Hitachi Split 1.5 ton AC from Ezone. Problem started after I paid the money. Delivery took almost 3 months as Ezone first sent a wrong product and then mentioned that the bought product is coming from Hitachi factory in Gujarat. Post delivery, the person sent by Hitachi for installation had never done an installation earlier and was experimenting. It took the person 6 hrs and the installation was a complete failure. After multiple calls to their customer service, finally got the installation done in about 1 month time. Quality of technicians sent by Hitachi is below par and does not justify the premium pricing for the product. When I asked for a product demo, they sent someone who had probably never done a Hitachi AC demo earlier. Keep on asking for the manual.

    Hitachi never sent anyone to service the machine. After multiple calls a technician arrived and mentioned that the coolant pressure is low and needs to be increased for which I had to pay Rs 1200. All this pain for buying a premium product and paying a super premium price. Never again will I buy a Hitachi product. Absolutely wrong priorities, mismatch between advertising and on the ground experience, inexperienced customer service and useless management.

    I have 2 Ton Hitachi window AC and its Dc fan motor was bad. It took me more than a month to fix it. I registered a complaint on 18602584848 and after 12 follow ups and 5 days the technician arrived just to inspect. Then they took 12 days for the motor that too for ₹8590.     We bought a Hitachi Split AC (1.5) I-clean which costed us almost 50,000 rupees. We decided to buy Hitachi thinking it to be the best among air conditioners. After installing it in my clinic, we started having problem within 6 months. There is no cooling even at 16 degree. Initially they replaced gas or whatever that is. After 2 months again the same situation... We have to call them at least 5 times for them to send their Technicians. Again refilled gas as they said it was leaking and they have fixed it. Again after a month the same condition. Now they say the area where the outdoor unit it placed is not correct and needs an open place. Hitachi people only had decided the place initially to keep the outdoor unit... Which now they are saying isn't good. Again for Re installation, "From one wall to another". We were charged Rs 4500. I will Never recommend anyone to buy this product which is a complete waste of money and later your time as well.

    I like to share my experience as I had purchased a window AC in 2015 and within a year cooling was not effective and they filled the gas and even there was no cooling. I made several calls to their customer care and after 15 days one person had come to see my AC although they send me a SMS that engineers will come and see the problem but the boy had come who was about 16 years old and when I asked the qualification he told me that he is only 9th standard pass and working with service centre last two years. So you people can imagine how they having team of engineers.

    My story is very long and latest story is that I have also taken AMC and make complaint about cooling on 29/3/17. They also taken my AC to rectify my problem but till date neither my problem has been resolved nor returned my AC till date. I have made several comments to GM, VP and Manager but no one have replied my email and it's shows they are fictitious persons and their names are given on their website just like a dummy.     My 1.2T Split AC suddenly stopped working. I lodged complaint on 17/08/16. Even though the company is supposed to attend to a complaint within 48 hours, some technician attended it after 5 days i.e. on 22-08-16 just to inspect the AC and not rectifying the fault. He diagnosed that the PCB is out of order and took Rs. 500/- from me just for inspection. He promised to rectify it with a new PCB in one week.

    But to my surprise someone again attended on 31-08-16 with a new PCB but a different one which does not fit to my AC. He again went back and promised my AC will be set right in next two days. Till today i.e 21-09-16 after more than one month despite repeated follow up with their customer care/service manager none bothered to rectify the problem. I am compelled to mentioned that I made a blunder by buying a HITACHI AC with high cost. I have never seen a second nut like HITACHI. Certainly I am going to tell my friends/relatives/kith & kins/people whom I know not to buy a HITACHI AC. It is the worst in the market. Just waste of time/money/energy.

    I bought Hitachi 1.5 tonne latest window AC (**) on 24 Sept 2016. It comes with broken remote and deform wings. Complained numerous times. These Hitachi people care a **. Then comes the AC sound problem. They just want to replace every part and try to make it an assemble unit instead replace it and the engineers are real rude and impertinent. Nobody heed a hoot to it. My daughter has rashes because of sleeping in humid conditions... I got lot of mental harassments... please don't ever buy these Hitachi brand products as dealer is now saying these problems are quite frequent in their products and they are really insensitive towards consumers.     I bought a 1.5 ton split AC this summer. The specific model requires that the filter be cleaned every 15 days - something that their dealer Vijay Sales never told me. Never knew there was an AC that requires that frequent cleaning of filter. First breakdown experience because filter cleaning crossed the period. Now a second breakdown has happened within 4 months - 7 days already, a part has to be fixed but the engineer has not turned up after the first review. Have written to their customer care, called them, tweeted to them, wrote to their MD - nothing works. In contrast I have 2 Mitsubishi split ACs that have performed faultlessly for the past 2 years. My next move will be to pack the AC and send it to their MD for putting at his own house.

The engineer visited on Thursday 20th July and diagnose that the power PCB not working. They commit to visit the very next day as they were not having the power PCB with them.     I am really fed up with Hitachi AC. I brought up an AC on June 5th and 'til now AC has not worked on a single night. Cooling is problem with AC. Who came to fit this AC was so rude. From day one AC is making noise. I did complain for the same then after 3-4 days someone came and fixed the issue. Then on the same night there was a noise from AC.     I purchased A/C on 14th April, I got water leaking problem with A/C on 21st April. I raised a ticket but they didn't respond for the first and second call. On third call they responded but the technician did awesome work. I have to award because he fixed one small problem and raised GAS leaking problem. Again I called to customer service and said this is what happened. They said "Sorry for the inconvenience with our team. We will raise complaint and send you Senior Technician within 48 hours."

    48 hours gone. I raised one more ticket. 72 hours gone and they have given some numbers and said "please contact the given number to solve your problem." Immediately I said "can you please wait I will check the number" and noted the numbers and called to those 4 numbers immediately using other mobile. 1 number belongs to Vijayawada, 2 numbers out of order and last 1 number invalid. This is shame of you Hitachi Services. Don't you maintain valid numbers!!! I was really fed up. At finally I called outside person then he said the last service was not done properly. "Gas was leaked. Please fill the gas and use it." Again I called to C. Service and asked. They said "you are under warranty period. We will send technician along with gas."     I purchased a Hitachi Split AC from Hitachi dealer Manoranjan from Kota (Rajasthan) last year. Within one month of its purchase AC stopped working. On contacting the dealer who happens also to be service center for Hitachi he didn't respond. After repeatedly telling him he turned up and told that its gas has leaked. It was very amazing that only after 3 weeks of purchase its gas leaked. Anyway he corrected the mistake but again after a month same problem came up and he didn't send anybody to repair it although AC was in warranty period. At last I got it repaired from outside and paid 2000 Rupees.

    This year again gas leaked and he didn't send anyone and I had to again get it repaired from outside. Now the compressor of AC has stopped working. Compressor has warranty period of 5 years. Again Manoranjan of Kota is not getting it replaced or getting it repaired. It's very amazing that Hitachi company is continuing with such a dealer who is bringing a bad name for the co. Either Hitachi should immediately withdraw its dealership from Manoranjan or must tell it strictly to improve its services.

    I have purchased Hitachi Air Conditioner 2 years back. In April 2016, I placed 4 requests one after another for my AC breakdown service and there is no response till now. I have spent this year entire summer without AC. Every time I call Hitachi customer service, the call center guy would apologize for the delay and registers a fresh complaint but to no avail. I have purchased Hitachi Air Conditioner assuming their brand is good, but after seeing their service, which is the worst I have decided to not purchase any goods from Hitachi. Worst service.     When one buys a product from a known brand he is a bit relaxed thinking that he would get a good product and a fair service. Hitachi customer service is the worst service I have experienced. The kind of people that comes to your place for installation, the way they do their work not up to the standards of Hitachi.     I have bought Hitachi RAU518HUD 1.5 ton 5 star split AC from Richa Electronics, Kidwai Nagar, Kanpur on 7/6/2016. After doing lot of phone calls finally technician has installed AC at night around 12 midnight but I was shocked to know after that AC was not working at all and technician told me that its Power PCB and blower is faulty. So he had told me that now company guy will come and fix it.

    But I am so much disappointed that companies like Hitachi are so much irresponsible that they have sold a faulty AC and now nobody is picking up phone calls. But the most awful situation was that technician was asking about warranty and pathetic shopkeeper (Richa Electronics, Kidwai Nagar, Kanpur) is not replacing the AC and telling that now it's company responsibility. It was the worst experience, even shopkeeper is telling me to do whatever you can do he is not going to replace it and neither he will refund it. It's like if he is goon or something.

    Here is Hitachi disgraceful performance of providing customer service. Initial Complaint # **. Logged: 16-April, attended: 22-April-2016. Initial diagnosis suggested: Service. Request for availability: 25-April-2016 as I believed the issue is not with Service. No visit till 29-April-2016. Follow up done with Customer Service after request was closed. Asked for status, nothing available with customer service (spoke to Ms **). What a fantastic way of closing request without knowing the action taken or without checking with customer.

    Second Complaint: ** , due to no response. Logged: 30-April-2016. Again followed up with customer service and spoke to Ms ** for checking status (past 48 hours, when there is no response). To my surprise, she opened a new complaint # ** (Third request for same problem). I was asked to follow up with service center (what more can be bad than to notify customer, you go and handle the ** yourself). Visit completed by Technician again and he could now see the problem. Advised to replace capacitor which was done. The unit could not operate again more than 2 hours. Again called the service center very same day, they advised to arrange a senior technician. No one showed up, followed up again myself with service center.

    Called service center on the same number (was informed that they will revert within next hour). Waited for 2 hours, called again customer service (spoke to Mr **). Now watch, what a wonderful way of tracking the problem (no one has any clue of the real problem start date). A new complaint request was opened # **. In between "connect to management" reached out to manager, no change in behavior. Reached out to next level, no response till now.

    I bought an expensive AC of Hitachi. I thought that Hitachi is one of the leading manufacturers of AC, so I preferred an expensive Hitachi AC to ACs of other brands which were quite cheaper. But now I'm regretting. I have realized that Hitachi customer service is the worst. They are not at all supportive and trouble the customers during after sales service. Product quality is good though, but not very great and I don't understand why Hitachi products are so expensive. There is no point of buying Hitachi.     I have purchased a Hitachi A/C in the year 2015 and it's been almost 10 months from the date of purchase. Till I have booked two times for service and not even single time service was not performed. Now the A/C got break down and not working at all. I have again registered in Hitachi Johnson site but till now, it's been 3 days I have registered complaint... No one reached out to us. Really frustrating and irritating. Cost is premium but service is not at all worth of a penny. Not sure what to do next. If it continues for next two, I will submit a case against them in customer court with the registration number which I have on handy for their worst performance.

    I had taken preventive service contract from M/s. Hitachi for servicing of my 1.2 ton Hitachi AC. The contract period was from 7.4.2015 to 6.4.2016. I was given complaint No.** dated 1.4.2016. In other words, the complaint was lodged very much within the contract period. I was repeatedly given verbal assurances on telephone that since the complaint has been lodged within the contract period, the complaint will be attended and covered in the AMC. I have tried my best and have raised the issue up to the management level. The complaint has not been attended to. This has happened for the first time since purchase of AC. I have been taking AMC year after year for my product. This type of service is not expected from a company of the repute of HITACHI.

    The remote control of my window air conditioner, which I bought two years back, stopped functioning on 13th August 2015. A complaint was lodged. A remote was supplied by their service center. This too did not work. The service center (on his own) registered another complaint. This went to an altogether different center. They came and said it was a defective and damaged control that had been supplied. I said, "It is your company's center which provided this." They said to log in another complaint. Which I did and they collected the defective remote on 21st August. Since then they have been promising to replace the control, despite more than a week has passed.

    I even logged in complaints to their management, but to no avail. Rather they did not even bother to call up and express regrets. Last year I purchased the far cheaper Lloyd which their service center gave excellent service. In the case of Hitachi - buying expensive results in more headaches and tears. Buying cheap gives you satisfaction. I am still waiting for them to respond. I wish no one else gets cheated.

    Totally unhappy with the Hitachi air conditioner I had bought 3 years back. Hitachi was far expensive than other ac brands available in market. And within 3 years, once its motor failed and twice its power control board. When I asked the repair centre, they said: Hitachi uses DC motor which does not works well with AC current and hence damages. Damn if Hitachi uses DC motor, is it my mistake? My biggest mistake was to trust Hitachi. I ended up spending 8000 bucks for buying a new "AC" motor. Well Hitachi, you have lost one of your loyal customer and I'll make sure that none of my friends opt for your products too. I know not much difference it'll make to you if you lose one customer. But definitely it'll make difference to me. Because now I'll go for better quality rather than just brand name.

    I ended up paying Rs. 8300 for services. HITACHI is not inspire the best it inspires the WORST customer service experience. I only expect to forward it to higher management if HITACHI customer service can do that. HITACHI customer service no. is never reachable. Mr ** (manager, Chennai) quoted approx. Rs 3800 for motor charges of my AC on phone verbally but charged us Rs. 6068. Learning: Never rely on their words. Always take written proof/breakup of prices. Also, first engineer quoted Rs 1700 for pcb board second engineer said Rs 1300 for pcb and Rs 5000 for motor. Different prices at HITACHI. Great company in making.

    All people in HITACHI will quote different prices for same parts of AC. I was mentally prepared to pay Rs. 5000 approx by their verbal estimation but they ended it with Rs 8300. Such a poor estimation even Hitachi managers have. Estimation values cannot increase by 3000 rupees. To our SURPRISE we had to pay Rs. 900 for getting motor installed in addition to Rs 6068 motor charges. That means you purchase their parts and then they will charge you installation charges also + service charges Rs 500. How is this justified? What is service charge then? The motor fixed is of higher capacity than the original one. Reason given that one is not available so customer will be charged higher price.

    As HITACHI is good at making customer experience pathetic. On further questioning by us as why they put higher capacity motor and charging us on top, they said that now this capacity is only used. Mr. ** said that it was not their serviceman fault that they left wires open during servicing. He totally said it to be very normal practice at HITACHI to provide substandard service. (Mr. **: We not even used AC too much as weather was not that hot in Chennai that time, only after little use it stopped working.) We raised it to Area Manager also Mr ** but of no use. My advice: Don't ever purchase HITACHI. They will Rob you of your hard earned money without any fear of God. Better go for LG/Samsung and have best pro customer after sales service. Please forward it to as many people as you know.

    In Apr '15 I have purchased a Window AC of 1.5 Ton with 5 star ratings. From last 5 days its compressor is not working well. Complaint has been raised for rectifying the error. The company person visited and gives the feedback that ventilation is not proper and the compressor is taking more ampere, please use the exhaust fan for the same. We did the same but still the problem not resolved. Without checking the compressor, the engineer has given the solution which is not working. My question to company that if the ventilation area was not proper for AC why it was working fine for 1 and the half month. Waiting for the satisfactory revert from company.

    Last year I purchase a split Ac of hitachi with stabilizer through local dealer. From the day two it creates problem of compressor tripping and I called no. of times to your team and dealer also. Three-four times your technician visited to my home for service and time passes away. Now again this year my AC is not working and problem of tripping of AC MCB occurs.

    Your customer service team told me the warranty expires and now they try to send senior technician to resolve my issue. Local dealer not helping me. My question is why your team not send senior person at my home in warranty period and not interested to resolve the issue? I think I had taken poor decision to buy your AC.     I had bought 1.5 ton KAZE model Hitachi split AC on 15th June 2014. But from the first day, it’s not giving proper cooling. When we talked to the dealer, he said AC is working fine and we can register complaint if we want. Technician came to check and said there is no issue. This year again we found that insufficient cooling and AC is producing noise like a generator. I registered complaint multiple times but as per technician AC will produce sound like this and giving proper cooling as well. I have bought Hitachi product for the first time and in less than one year faced the worst experience of using the Hitachi product, services and dealer services. Dealer is not ready to listen and franchise service centre said that it is working fine.

    I don't understand if in less than one year and under warranty period we are facing lot of problems for Hitachi single product than in the coming years I am gonna face lot of problems in this product and nobody will be ready to listen. This shows Hitachi is not customer centric and they are not ready to solve the customer problem who pay the huge amount of money for any product. I won't recommend any of the Hitachi product to anyone. I WANT MY MONEY BACK OR WANT MY AC TO BE REPLACED WITH NEW ONE because the services and products you are providing are not satisfactory.     I bought Hitachi split AC on 28th May 2015. It came to my home after 3 days. On 5th day installer guys came and unpacked the product and they saw the outdoor unit damaged. Now nobody is helping properly. The dealer is saying they have logged a call to service center. The service center guys are telling they will send technician to check. Still nobody has come as of today. If you do not want to suffer like me please do not buy Hitachi product. Can you imagine it has been 10 days still I have not got the product at home (I do not know whether I will get a replacement of the outdoor unit). I am thinking of going to consumer forum now.

    Hi. We have purchased Windows 1.5 ton Hitachi - The so called "brand" for Air Conditioner. I must say forget the Air conditioner cooling. It doesn't even serve the purpose of an air cooler. The cooling is SUPER DISGUSTING. I have been trying to reach their customer care for long but NO RESPONSE! Ridiculously sad. Expensive and good for NOTHING. I had Voltas before this.     I have been a brand loyal customer of Hitachi and all of my air conditioner has been Hitachi for more than a decade now. Hitachi AC 1.5T Window Kaze Plus was purchased by myself on April 15, 2014 and since then the support and service has been pathetic from all areas. I had requested for a demo on 23/4/2014 (Request No - **), however multiple followups were never heeded including writing emails to customercare@hitachi-hli.com which were not even responded. The call center is pathetic and I am always asked to contact the local Noida center and people in this center do not confirm to the commitment. In summary no one turned up and the call is closed.

    Lately, I registered a service requested on Nov 4, 2014 (Request No - **) and the service engineer agreed to come on Saturday, Nov 8 at 11AM. However, again this call was closed and no one turned up. I called up the Service center and tried explaining to Mr. ** (Call center Executive). He was extremely rude and arrogant and in fact he asked me to disconnect the line and call back if I need to talk to his manager. I called again and spoke to his manager - Janardha to raise a complaint against such personnel. He refused stating that he has no system to raise such complaints and was apologetic without any actionable. I requested him to call on his manager and he kept me on hold for possibly over 10 mins. Finally, his manager did not want to talk to a customer.

    The support persons came @7PM after marathon argument with Mr. ** (Noida Service Centre Number) and the demo and first dry service was done today, Nov 8 2014. No one has been to tell us who was the person to whom this work was assigned in both cases and why the manager did not check with customers directly.

    In short, I am surprised at the below and not sure how Hitachi which is a late entrant into India will be successful. Calls are not tracked by the call center for status with clients which is done by even small players like AO Smith who are new entrants in the water heater space. Service Center closes calls inappropriately and unethically without even attending and job sheet. Service Center Number is not reachable and out of order for most times.

    Escalation matrix is not published and Call center refuse to provide number of escalation person. Call center uses bad language with customers and supervisor refuses to log a formal complaint. Head of Call center refuses to talk to client as an escalation point. Email address, customercare@hitachi-hli.com is not monitored for months for customer pending complaints.

    With all of the above, let me know one of the things that is going right from Hitachi and why clients must still purchase Hitachi and action must not be taken against Hitachi. This would be my feedback to friends and family. Hitachi must be penalized on all count. Hitachi should ensure that start of warranty must be from the date of demo (today), additional service warranty as penalty must be provided and erring staff must be taken with task including letting clients know what action is being taken.

    This is regarding service request-cum-complaint (**) registered on 09-May-2014. Initially I registered service request on 09-May-2014 and waited few days but no one called and no one turned up to my place. Meanwhile my AC got faulty and wasn't powering on 13-May-2014 late evening, so I called on 14-May-2014 to register complaint regarding the same. The call center agent told me the complaint cannot be registered and he updated the service call logs mentioning the fault has noted and registered and engineer will address the fault in service complaint.

    I called several times since then and eventually some technician visited my place around 07:30 PM on 14-May-2014. He observed the PCB has gone faulty and needs to be replaced. He said he will get the part replaced on Sunday Morning and if not possible then Monday. I waited but he never turned back. I called his mobile but it was continuously coming not reachable. The Sunday passed waiting, waiting and waiting...

    I called on Monday Morning and the technician told me he has ordered the part and it shall be replaced latest by Wednesday. In the evening the very same day, I received a message from Hitachi saying the service request (**) had been closed. I called customer care and was informed the service request had been closed and cannot be reopened. When I asked for reason, I was told the service request had been closed without any reason. I was also told if I want to avail service I have to log a new complaint regarding the same and same amount of time will be taken. Very Surprising and annoying, knowing that it wasn't my fault I was forced to go ahead with new complaint (**). Extremely disappointing... :(

    I have been told this time the complaint will be attended on priority basis but there's no promising sign this time too. It has been APATHETIC and extremely poor service experience with Hitachi and associated people with Hitachi. The issue is yet not been resolved and left an extremely poor experience so far with Hitachi. If you people has a bit of customer care sense then I hope this complaint will be attended and resolved on top most priority. It has been a poor experience with customer care and service center people as it looks they're not at all sync between both channels. Every time when I ask for escalation, I was clearly denied saying no escalation point can be provided and also was refrained to talk to supervisor/Team Lead/Manager etc. SUCH AN EXTREMELY POOR PIECE OF WORK. I am super dissatisfied with service offered by Hitachi this time and wand to escalate this issue to highest level. I request you to provide me the email details of Hitachi higher authorities or managers in charge. With this level of experience, I will not recommend anyone to choose Hitachi.

Since I registered the complaint on customer care Number: ** on Saturday, 3rd May 2014 and still there is no response against my complaint and we are suffering a lot in this highly humid climate. I am staying at home from last two days. My work is getting impacted.

They said that they have sent five strong reminder But no further action has been taken place regarding resolution of my complaint. But now, this perception has completely ruined and I will make it a point to not to advise anyone in my circle to go ahead with Hitachi brand.

    I purchased Hitachi 1.5 Ton AC model no. RAV518 ESD in April 2012 through ACE TECHNOMARK, Noida. After One Year, the AC motor & Display did not work. Unfortunately my Warranty was just over. When I inquired with Hitachi service center, I was informed that the DC motor introduced in this model is having problems in most of the models & needs to be replaced by an AC motor. Company recommends AC motor in place of DC motor. I verified with some other buyers also & they confirmed of the same problem. Now Hitachi is telling me to replace the motor & display with AC motor by paying approx. Rs. 8000. It is petty that even after buying one of the costliest ACs available in market (Rs. 32000), we have to spent another Rs. 8000 to get the AC defective (design problem) part replaced. My question is why I have to pay for this faulty design of the AC. Before this AC, I was using ONIDA make 1.5 Ton AC procured from same dealer which did not work more than 2 years as there were frequent faults/leakages.

    On 21.06.2012, I have purchased my one-ton split AC (model RAU312 KSD) from Hari Om Electronics (Clock Tower, Shaktinagar; invoice no., **). On 29.06.2012, the AC stopped working. We called customer care and a complaint was registered. In response, Mr. **, a technician from S.S. Enterprises, visited on 30.06.2012 and detected that the temporary switch on the indoor unit was malfunctioning and said that the unit was tripping. He tried to rectify the fault and after spending nearly one hour, he declared the problem was rectified (as per enclosed filed call report call number **). The AC is now working, but the malfunctioning of the temporary switch is still continuing and the AC keeps on turning on and off due to that. Please do the needful for the immediate solution of my problem by either rectifying the fault at once or replacing the faulty indoor unit as the machine was purchased on 21.06.2012 and hardly worked for 10 days.

    Last year, I bought a Hitachi AC from Gurgaon on 4/30/2011. This year, in the first week of April, I requested for wet service. But the technician did a dry service, telling I need to log and call again. So I registered a call on 4/27/2011 with the topmost priority and after that, I have called 17 times (spending nearly 2 hours) and below are a few of the names of persons with whom I discussed: Purvi, Priksith, Lizo, Alak, Zahid, Swetha and Anshual. I tried to contact a senior to escalate, but I didn't get details. At last, they are putting my calls on hold and not responding. I am really frustrated. Help.

    We have purchased 14 pcs of split AC of 1.5 ton class logicool and also 4 pcs of 3 tons micro cool cassette AC. During installation of these ACs, their Varanasi service center (M/S Urban Marketing - in charge is Mr. ** mobile no. **) is badly harassing us since last year and never completing the installation work despite repeated failure of his promises. We are very annoyed with his behavior. We have paid Rs. 22,500 advance until today for his partial work.

    We bought 1.2 tn Ace Cut Out Split air conditioners (2 units) during April 2009 , Invoice no **, dated 18th April 2009, which were installed at **. I'm wondering, repeated efforts for free services/inspection (due within six months from date of purchase) with franchisee Ms. Concorde Air Conditioning System, Bangalore and Hitachi Life Solutions through online complaints/mail follow-up are failing miserably in getting appropriate response even after more than a year of purchase.

    My father bought a Hitachi AC last year in May 2009. From the word go, we are facing the problem. First instance happened when our AC got installed. They left a big wooden piece inside and it gave a bad, horrible sound while we first ran the AC. Nobody came to check whether the AC has been installed correctly or not. No after-sale service (which a company do or warranty period services) on time. Now, we are waiting for our wet service done, but nobody is doing this. A person, Mr. Ravinder, always calls and informs to read our complaints and will done it ASAP, but nobody comes.

    Please help us to get our wet service done and tell Hitachi do not sell their ** products in India to the customers when they can not do a single bit correctly. Their exec can not install the products, they can not provide even free after-sale services on time and when a customer approaches for the same, they take it lightly. From 27th of March, we are trying to get it done but Hitachi exec is taking it very lightly. It's so disgusting to have Hitachi products as I am in India and if you people are not able to help me, then it's my humble request to you to please forward this to concern department or company's sites. It'd be a great help.

    I purchased a 1.5 T Hitachi Window remote AC on the 3rd of March in 2006. The serial number of the product is 149867010.T he amount paid for the commodity was Rs 25000.

    It's problems are:

    1) The blower motor failed within 6 months of purchase, along with the reduction in cooling.

    2) Problem 1 recurred on 14/8/2007 on which I was charged a sum of Rs 2600. Again, the problem recurred within the next 7 days.

    I feel sorry to mention that since day 1 when the problem took place, the cooling has been exceptionally poor. I cannot use that AC in any condition because it does not solve my purpose. This is in behalf of my family that we all live sleepless nights. I request the relevant personnel to kindly take strict actions.

    I bought an AC from HITACHI DEALER. it worked fine for 1 month. after that it stopped workin. no COOLING. i complained in customer care dept. they just disconnect the call. that we shhould call back. its already been a week no initiative has been taken. area service manager is not doing his job properly. they keep on delaying the replacement. WE DONT HAVE STOCK. so wat do i do? when i will get the replaced AC? in winters or in next summers? do 1 thing give my 26000(INR) back. i will ourchase samsung or any other ac. NEVER EVER GO FOR HITACHI.

    My mom is a victim of skin disease. doctor has suggested that she has to be in ac all the time and from a week. she is suffering very hard. IT is more than a physical or ecnomic damage. please help me.
