Just got 900 watt, under $50. One touch button 30sec-6min. Ultra quiet, only low humm running. 1 few times running had to take 2 look to see it moving. Will bring 1.5 cup of water to boil in less than 3 min.

I've had my microwave for about 2 years and I'm a single woman who travels for my job so I'm rarely home to use this. After only about a year I noticed that the paint was bubbling on the inside of the unit. After 2 years the entire bottom of the unit where the rollers sit for the glass plate is almost rusted completely through. The unit doesn't heat food like it did in the beginning. So what used to take only 1 min now takes 3. I actually thought by purchasing one that cost a bit more would be my better choice but my microwave that I had from the 1980's is in better condition than this one is and I use it less than I did my old one.

Bought the Hamilton Beach 700w microwave less than 8 months ago. I used it maybe once or twice a day, a few times a week. Never longer than 5 minutes per time. Within 3 months the turntable mechanism started skipping but then was fine after a few days. Yesterday it stopped heating anything. Lights, timer, turntable all still worked. After looking online all I see are numerous issues with them. This is the second and last Hamilton Beach product I buy. The first one was a coffee maker that the hotplate burned the coffee within 3 minutes. Since I can't find my receipt or have the box it is now just scrap.

We owned the toaster oven for 2 months and it stopped working. We called Amazon and then Hamilton Beach and sit on hold for hours and then get dumped into a voicemail. Then we get a call back with no one there and the call disconnects. We have waited now well over a week and no return calls. We are getting totally jerked around over a toaster oven and just want a refund but cannot get them on the phone. Do not buy from this company

I purchased this microwave in 2018 from Walmart, had to return the microwave as the turntable did not work at all. Walmart exchanged it for the same model and here it is 1 year and 8 months later and the turntable is making popping noises. I don't believe it is a problem with Walmart but a problem with Hamilton Beach. I will not buy another product of Hamilton Beach. Previously I owned a GE Microwave bought in a local small town hardware, which worked for 30 years. The stuff that is produced these days are poorly made and overpriced for cheaply made appliances. Upon reading other reviews The turntable seems to be a common issue. Get it together Hamilton Beach and make your product worth buying.

I bought a Hamilton Beach 0.9 Cu. Ft. Stainless Steel-Counter-top Microwave Oven at Walmart and after I got it home and set it up. Within the ending of the first month the control started to give me problems. A few of the numbers on the panel started to quit on me and not work. Then within my 2nd month, the entire Microwave oven panel quit working completely and now I can't return it. I thrown away the receipt and can't return it to Walmart store and now have pay what it would cost to buy a new one just to fix the old one, a 2 month old Hamilton Beach 0.9 Cu. Ft. Stainless Steel Counter-top Microwave Oven. I don't know if I bought a defective oven or is it just a junk model, but I am without a microwave oven thanks to Hamilton Beach Company.

Worked fine for awhile but here in the last two weeks it has started making a noise like electric zapping and popping, I unplugged it and when I went to move it I noticed the bottom was hot as fire. I paid for a 2 year warranty through Walmart, but because the only option I could find to select for my claim was a manufacturer defect Walmart won't honor my warranty. I've since quit shopping at Walmart and I submitted a claim to Hamilton Beach, still waiting to see if anything will be done. Next time I'll probably buy another brand from anywhere but Walmart.

I have used this microwave almost every single day, sometimes more than once, since buying it in May 2017, and it has never failed me. It's dark red, to match a few other items in my kitchen, so different than the typical cold white or shiny black color usually seen in appliances. The panel offers choices to make it easy to cook = instant buttons or push the start button for 30 second increments. It's a good microwave, available at a fair price (about $75) at Walmart.

Am going to return this microwave after having it a few weeks. I've always had inexpensive 800 watt Sharp brands that last me for years. With this 900 watt Hamilton Beach, even though I adjust the cook time Down to allow for wattage difference, when I cook anything with meat in it, the meat gets overcooked and hard on the part of the meat that is sitting closest to the turntable. Was very pleased with my microwave. Worked well from reheating a cup of coffee to cooking the carrots. Then in the middle of fixing lunch it died. Had just pulled one dish out and put the next in, when I closed the door it started without having put in the time or pressing start. Then it wouldn't stop unless the plug was pulled. It also did not warm the food. Consumer support, listed in the manual, said problem was beyond them and gave me a Wal-Mart (Where I had purchased the microwave) warranty number. My warranty was no longer valid because I had purchased it 15 months ago -- warranty is for 12. Knew the oven was inexpensive, but I expected more than 15 months lifetime. Shoppers beware! We bought this countertop product to replace a less than 4 year old, expensive, over the oven unit (a GE) that started blowing the circuit breaker and was no longer usable. This unit works but almost immediately started making loud, worrisome noises sounding like a lawnmower. We are returning it to Walmart before the 90 day warranty expires.
No electronic device lasts forever but this is another example of cheaply made, mass-produced Chinese JUNK that has a short service life barely making it to the short (1 year) warranty. Years ago, we had over-the oven microwaves that lasted much longer than 5 years. Where do you get these things today? Not in America! The reliable brands are gone.

I purchased my Hamilton Beach microwave 1.1 from the Walmart store. Less than one year later rust developed on the floor of the inside of the microwave. Recently, we discovered a burn hole in the floor located inside the microwave which of course renders it useless. After extensive research, I found that the Hamilton Beach company sold its name to a Chinese company. After reading all the negative comments I will not even try to get a refund. This situation is exactly why I do not hesitate to take anything back in the normal 30 day window. It appears that businesses have decided to use inferior materials and labor knowing that appliances will be passed their warranty periods when they fail. By the way, we own a microwave that is over 15 years old i'm still working fine. I will look for another older microwave on eBay and Craigslist to replace this Hamilton Beach joke.

My Hamilton Beach 1000 Wt Microwave, Model HB-P10034AP-M4W, quit heating, without any warning. I purchased this at Walmart 03/12/16. I had my receipt, and called the Consumer Support # listed on my Owner's Manual. They had me perform a "hard reset", which didn't work. They said it was beyond the 1 year warranty period, so they suggested I purchase another microwave. I explained that the unit was not quite 2 years old, kept very clean, used moderately, and not abused in any way. I asked if there was any way I could be compensated in some manner due to the situation. I was told since the manufactured date of Nov. 2015 was beyond the 18 month limit, it wasn't eligible for a "discounted refund", either. Attention!! DO NOT BUY HAMILTON BEACH MICROWAVES AND OTHER PRODUCTS! THEY'RE ALL CHEAP AND UNRELIABLE! I bought the Hamilton Beach 1000 watt microwave at Walmart, it quit heating after less than 3 months. I had the receipt so Walmart exchanged it for another one. Well the 2nd one did the same thing, quit heating food after less than 2 years and it happened right before Christmas. I'm disabled and cannot afford a new microwave right now. So I'm SOL and have to reheat food in the oven and on the stove, and with my health issues this is very inconvenient for me, not to mention time consuming.
Hamilton Beach only has a 1 year warranty on its products because they know they're all pieces of crap! You would think that a over $70.00 microwave would last longer than a couple of months or even a couple of years. I contacted Walmart's home office and suggested they stop carrying this product. I contacted Hamilton Beach as well and all they could do is give me an apology. I've had issues with other Hamilton Beach products in the past, their blenders are pieces of crap, took it back to Target and got a refund. I will NEVER purchase anything made by Hamilton Beach ever again, I suggest no one else does either.

I have set up microwave ovens before, in my previous home, but not this one. Microwaves are a bit heavy, but I always seem to be able to find help with the installation process. When setting up the Hamilton Beach microwave, what we did is plug it in and it was ready to be used. It is insanely easy to operate and is accurate for the wattage. I like that it is easy to use and the buttons are relatively large, so people in the household with weaker eyes can use it without assistance. It has ample space in it to cook the family size meals from the frozen section, so in a pinch we can feed a group of people. However, The bulb in it died after 30 days, so we've been using a dark microwave since then. When the timer goes off, it's severely quiet, so it's hard to tell if it's still running, especially with the light bulb issue. Also, it has caused power surges, so it isn't really power friendly. It meets our needs, but minimally. Unfortunately, once it starts to fail, we will be looking for something better, likely from another brand.

It's pretty much a normal, standard, run of the mill microwave. It was given to me as a gift from my parents. It would always be nicer if microwaves were faster or could heat food more evenly and efficiently, but that's an issue with all microwaves. They also don't taste as good as food heated in an oven. But it performs all of the necessary forms and functions. You pop the food in, you hit a button, you hope it's heated thoroughly. If not, try again.

After that There was nothing left to do but actually use it. It met my expectations very well. It is large enough to heat up a full plate of food and heats things up quickly. I love the color of it. It is a pretty red that matches my kitchen. It's pretty easy to use; my 6-year-old operates it just fine. I wish though it had two levels like some of the larger microwaves I've seen other places have. Having the top level that's usually just a wire rack to set things on and then the bottom surface that usually rotates would be awesome. I have a large family so this feature would really come in handy for me.

Sometimes I cannot find the exact setting I need when making certain types of food. I would like to be able to navigate the buttons a little more easily. I also think the size of the microwave could be bigger. Right now I am unable to place large platters of food in there. It is easy to clean and I am in control of every setting on the microwave. The setup is really easy because it functions like a normal microwave but where it differs is the accurate ability to control the settings in just a few clicks. It is extremely easy especially for popcorn and frozen entrees because they already have a preset setting that takes the guesswork out of the equation. It was very simple to set up. Just took it out of the box and plugged it in. Then set the time and it was good to go. It is also very easy to us. Only took a little trial and error to figure out the best times and settings to use for cooking. The defrost setting works very well, after getting to know how long to set it for certain amounts of frozen foods. It also has an easy to set timer, which we use for other appliances and general needs because of its convenience. However, the reheat button doesn't do a good job of reheating but not additionally cooking the food so that's a feature I simply do not use. We also lose power fairly often, even if only for a brief moment, but each time we do we have to reset the clock before we can use the microwave again which can be fairly annoying.

I like the buttons for popcorn, pizza, baked potato, and reheat. These features make it very easy to microwave foods by just one button. I also like the 30 second feature. I can add 30 seconds to anything that is being heated or cooked. It also lets you input the numbers by hitting time cook and then input the numbers. I also like that it has defrost feature where you can defrost food very easily. It also has where you can just input numbers to cook. These features make it simple for everyone to use. However, it is a little bit hard to clean the inside of the microwave by it having the vent holes in the inside. I don't want water and soap to get inside the holes while cleaning.

When I set it up, I opened the box and took off all the plastic wrap, unpacked the glass plate that turns around, unwrapped the plastic round piece that the glass plate fits on and put that inside, then the glass plate then plugged it in and that was it. I like that the microwave is compact and not super big. I also like that it matches my kitchen because it is red in color and that it has a 30 second button and if pressed multiple times it just keeps adding 30 seconds at a time. But the microwave will not let me enter an exact time to heat/cook unless I first click a button that says time cook. If I want 4 min and 30 seconds I have to first click time cook then the 4 min and then the 3 then the 0 buttons.
