I bought a Fisher Paykel washer nearly five years ago. I’m very happy. I had an issue with water splashing out from under the lid. I looked in the instruction book and it described how to reprogram the maximum water level. We did so (lowering it slightly) and haven't ever had the problem before. I had another issue somewhat recently when the pump wouldn't drain quite all the water from the drum. I was at work and my wife went online and got some advice (including pictures). She turned the washer on its face, took the pump apart, cleaned it out, put it back together, and it worked great. I suspect that at least some of the complaints issued stem from the fact of how some people might be using their washers and putting way too much trust in the repairman who would rather sell you a new pump and charge you for that labor instead of simply cleaning it out. (This seems to be a common issue.) I have no complaint about this machine.

I bought a Fisher Paykel washer in summer of 2007. This machine does not drain the water all the way and the water that is left behind starts to smell very bad after a while. There is so much mildew on the back of the tub that it is absolutely nasty. If you don't soak the clothes for at least one hour, they don't really get washed. About a year ago, it started to really give me trouble. It will stop in the middle of the cycle. It will not spin the clothes. It will not let the water in, only few squirts at a time and when it did spin, it shakes so bad that you would think someone is tearing down the house. When it does that, I have to rearrange the clothes in the washes and try again and see if it will spin normally then.
Sometimes, I have to do it four or more times for it to work and sometimes it does not work at all. I have to get all the clothes out and unplug it for at least one hour then try again. Sometimes, I'm lucky and it will finish the cycle; sometimes, it would not. We replaced the rotor censor and it worked for about two weeks, and now I'm going through the same thing. No matter what we do, it will not work and I'm tired on going to do laundry at the laundromat for a family of six.

Fisher and Paykel dishwasher model DD603SS. I paid $1,500, it never worked right. I always had leak, replaced hose, computer board. I spent $600 in repair for a worthless appliance. I wish I had bought another brand. Now, it’s broken with F1 error code that will not stop unless it is unplugged. I had it for 6 years and repair cost keeps adding. No response from the manufacturer.

I purchased a SmartLoad dryer from a dealer in Springfield, Missouri in 2005. At about the 1 year mark, this dryer started giving me problems. At first, it wouldn't heat up, then the dryer rotation messed up several times. There were very few repairmen who tried to touch this machine. No one knew how to fix it! I purchased the dryer for about $750 and spent that much in repairs. I just got rid of it yesterday and purchased a Whirlpool with no bells and whistles, just a good old dryer.

This is Phyllis of Jasper, February complaint update. On Feb. 21, 2009, the DKC techs worked for 3 hours then said they could not fix it, but could they take it to the Sears/DKC shop. I've inquired 3 times on progress and was told the F&P rep was coming to check it out. That was 6 weeks ago. DKC called me yesterday wanting to know what I wanted to do with the product. I'd like to be in on a class action suit against this company, but would settle for a working unit. In 6 weeks, no one from F&P has called me after I sent them an email to their complaint dept.

I bought a F&P washer 5 years ago. After the first three years, I had to replace the computer board. I did this myself because it seems the three repairmen I had at my house could not diagnose the problem. A short time later, the cold water valve went. Again I replaced this myself. Three months ago I brought another repairman out and he diagnosed a bad rotor. About two months later they showed up to fix the problem with a stater, however, neither of those parts were correct. Now supposedly it's the drain pump, but those seem to be on backorder. I wish I knew someone who could build me a big slingshot because I'd aim it right at F&P windows. Please let everyone know to avoid buying any appliance by this company. It definitely is not what they claim it is.

This is a VERY expensive machine, recommended by Consumer Reports at the time I shopped for it a few years ago. As with others, my washing machine drain pump failed. My technician ordered the part and was told he would have it in three or four days. At the end of that time, he was told the part was on back order. I called Fisher Paykel and was told the part would be in on Wednesday. I called the tech who said no, they had heard the part would be in on Friday. I called back to see what the story was and was told by someone named Francesca that the part would be in on Friday and would be distributed after that. I asked why the delay. She said, essentially, that this is an old machine (it's 3 or 4 years old, give me a break) and if it was a newer machine I wouldn't have this problem.
On Wednesday I called again hoping against hope that the part would be in since I'm sick of the laundromat. I was told THIS time that the part would be another 5 to 10 business days because the order has to clear customs. I sought clarification from a supervisor, Kiley, and it seems that this part is repeatedly on backorder. Another thing to note: I live in the Los Angeles area and it was next to impossible to find someone who works on these machines.

We have a Fisher Paykel dryer that has a massive amount of lint coming out of the vent. In addition, we have a huge amount of lint sitting on our roof as that is where the vent comes out of. I called customer service and was amazed that they never heard of this problem. I highly suggest to all those that have listed problems to contact the customer service department and let them know the issues if you haven't already.

I had my F&P washer 6 months and had to have the pump replaced. Right after the year was up, again another one! One year from that, another one had to be installed. I guess I am angry because I really thought I was buying a quality product, and it turned out to be a piece of junk. I am just a nervous wreck every time I turn it on - afraid it will go out one more time. I have learned a valuable lesson. Just because it's new technology does not make it a better product. Stay with something you know and had a good experience with. I had always had Sears and at least if I had bought one, it wouldn't hurt me so bad to RUN OVER WITH THE CAR!!! I keep the washer because my husband lost his job, and we just can't replace it right now. I have a SEARS dryer that is 12 years old and it's still kicking. I wish I had a washer to match.

Washing machine keeps going off-balance. Repairman was here twice, rubber bands replaced and the plastic top of the drum. Washer is always going off-balance. According to level, machine is balanced. Fisher and Paykel wants another opinion on the issue. Services companies which they told me to call will not come this way. Called and emailed to have a supervisor or manager call me back about washer issues, but no one has called me back. The answer I get is, "There are no supervisors here at this time in New Zealand."

I wish I had found this site when I bought my Fisher Paykel drawer dishwasher in 2003. In October 2006, one of the lid actuator motors went out so I replaced all four and the dishwasher worked until November 7, 2008 when the unit gave me a code F1. (Is this Fisher Paykel code speak for gullible Americans?) I called Sears/DKC service and the tech came out on Nov. 10th, diagnosed the problem and took parts. I asked him if this will be working by Thanksgiving and he said sure. On Nov. 24, it still had an F1 code and tech replaced parts. On Dec. 29, it still had an F1 code and tech worked 3 hours on it. On Jan. 21, 2009, two techs came and it still had F1 code, so I ordered all new parts. On Feb. 21, still with the F1 code, I took the dishwasher to shop, maybe more techs and input.
Since all this started, I have been diagnosed with a blood clot in my aorta and it appears I should not be stressed. I think the government should step in and make this company stand behind their products. These are very expensive products. My American made 23-year old Maytag washer and dryer are still working and the tech tells me to do everything possible to keep them going. I am very grateful that I did not purchase the Fisher Paykel washer dryer that had caught my eye in October 2008. To add salt to the wound, I traded a portable Kenmore dishwasher to my neighbor when I got the Fisher Paykel and he has always told me how well it is working.

Dishwasher-drawer was purchased in late 2005 and within 3 months, the top drawer was not working. They replaced the electronic panel. Almost immediately, the bottom drawer was filling up with water when the top drawer ran. Service repair was out four times. We finally gave up because our time was being taken up with repairs. We just let the bottom one run a half cycle after the top. Then the warranty ran out and gee, a few weeks later, the top quit. We have been using the bottom, but guess what just happened? The rack prongs just broke off - rusty! So as my mom said... never fall for good looks! Unbelievable. I thought we purchased a quality machine for $1,400. At this point, no faith in repairs. I just hate to see all this material go to waste in less than 4 years. Not even recyclable.

My husband purchased a Fisher & Paykel washing machine on Jan. 3, 2007. This was a surprise for me since I was having problems with my washing machine that was 15 years old. The sales person at Lowe's told him it was the finest appliance on the market. The washer worked great; that is for 6 months! The first service call took 9 days for the repairman to get to our home. Then we needed a new pump and had to wait another 2 weeks. I called Lowe's and complained about the amount of time I would be without a washer. They sent me a loaner. Well, finally after 3 weeks, my washer was repaired and seemed fine. Six months later, it stopped in the middle of the cycle. Here we go again... another service call.
The repairmen came again. This time, he said it was due to having well water and the screens were clogged. He fixed the problem. Less than a week later, it broke again. This time, I was able to locate an email address for FP customer service. The woman named Lisette was helpful and sent an FP service rep to my house. Basically, I have too much lint?? Too much lint, I'm sure I don't have any more lint than anyone else. He also said it is not recommended that I use liquid fabric softener. I couldn't believe this. Too MUCH LINT?? FP sent me a lint filter that goes in the agitator. Why would they have an object like this? Could it be others have complained about this same problem?
Well, here we are Feb. 2009 and I am having the same problems with the washer. I had the repairman out to the house again on 2/17/09, again too much lint, clogged the pump. The machine worked for the two loads I was able to do. This morning, 2/22/09, I started laundry... guess what? The machine quit mid-wash cycle. I was able to restart the load. I sent a nasty email to Lisette the FP rep. I am done with this product. I will keep using and hope with every load that the damn thing will blow up. I'm taking the machine to the scrap yard. I wonder how much scrap is going for these days. I'm sure not enough to buy a new appliance. I will inform all my family, friends and co-workers not to purchase any FP appliance. What a waste of money!!

The dishwasher was leaking water. I had a repairman come out and replace the rubber gasket on the upper part of the lid. It has leaked again and the water has run under the wood floor of my den. I have spent all the money on fixing this piece of ** product that everyone in this forum is complaining about, and the company is doing nothing to fix. This guy Cliff of Maryville, MO (11/26/08) probably works for the company because he is the only one that is happy with this product.

I purchased a Fisher Paykel double dish drawer dishwasher 3 years ago. We installed it ourselves. It has worked like a dream until just before Thanksgiving 2008. The lower drawer motor froze up. I had purchased the extended warranty so it was covered. The repairman confirmed what the electronic panel had told me. The motor needed replacing. The motor has been on backorder since Thanksgiving. Lowe's called last week stating that they will be sending me a gift card for the purchase price of the dishwasher, including tax. I have no complaints. I will be ordering the motor myself since they are so easily removed and replaced. Hopefully, it will become available before I die of old age. Until then I will use the top unit only and still be happy with my purchase.

I bought a Fisher & Paykel washer and dryer in March of 2007. My husband and I were told of the great water saving and dryer saving time of buying the washer. What a load of crap! My washer first broke down in July of 2008. I felt lucky that I was still under warranty. I then realized how unlucky I was when it took 3 months to fix my washer. First, it was a part that was back ordered. Finally after 1 month, they came to replace the part. The service guy replaced the part and then realized that there was another part that needed replacing.
After waiting another month for that back ordered part, he came back with the owner of the service store to again try to fix my washer. At that time, the owner told me they needed 1 more part but it was a small part and should be in within a week. Two weeks later, I called the service center and was told all the parts were not in; they were waiting for a back-ordered part. Imagine my surprise when the lady told me that 28 parts were ordered. I was told just 1 part was needed. Finally in October of 2008, my washer was fixed - not really as I could not use it for more than a medium size load.
Then in January of 2009, my washer broke again. This time the service center decided that they wanted to call Fisher & Paykel. Why do you ask? They apparently wanted to see if they would get paid to fix my washer (I'm guessing; what else could it be?). The service guy came out and said that a shock had come off and sprayed water in the control board which shorted out the entire control board. He also mentioned that it could have started a fire. He left without fixing the washer and referred me to Fisher & Paykel. I called the 800 number and was told the Technical Manager would be calling me. After waiting to hear from the technical manager for 2 weeks, I then called Fisher & Paykel again. They said they would email my file to him and mark it urgent. He called and said he would send another service center person out to get a second opinion.
Why do they need a second opinion? Do they not trust their authorized service centers? Anyway the second service guy decided that it wasn't the shock that sprayed the control panel but a cracked plastic part in the control board area - two different opinions. Pretty strange, right?

I purchased an FP washer and dryer two years ago. I picked the FP brand specifically because I was told aeronautic engineers designed the interior mechanics. I had problems with the washing machine within the first year. It proved difficult to find a repair company even though I live in a large city. I did find someone who had to travel from another county (twice). The washer has never been able to hand a full load, unlike the old beat up washer I replaced with the FP. Now I am having problems with the dryer. If I could do it all over again, I would not buy this brand. I would go out and buy something else if I had the money, but I'm stuck with the FPs.

I purchased a Fisher Paykel washing machine at a great expense 6 years ago. It worked well for a certain period of time then, it broke down. My complaint is that nobody seems to be able to fix whatever is wrong. I have had two different people look at it and both see different problems. Every other supposed expert on Fisher Paykel tells me that it is a terrible machine; that they have had nothing but trouble getting parts or finally fixing it. They suggested that I purchase another washing machine of a more reliable name. I have talked to your overseas representatives who are quite hopeless; there were no suggestions on who may help. I would like someone from FP to contact me and tell me where I can take this washer to be repaired! I am happy to personally drop it off at the appropriate place. Somehow, I get the feeling that you people are not really interested in selling this product and certainly not willing to give satisfactory maintenance. Please let me know if you can assist me.

Authorized dealer replaced thermostats. FP Clothes Washer Model IWL 12: Washer suspension system broke with tub full of water and clothes about 3-4 months after 2-year warranty ended. I called FP and they stated they would reimburse me for cost of repairs by authorized dealer. I had the washer fixed but FP wouldn't pay for repairs as they stated. I purchased a Fisher & Paykel washing machine at local Lowe's Home Improvement store in Oct. 2007. In December 2008, it would not work - default #36. I called for service to 888 number. The first service they gave me told me that they were booked and to get another number from F&P. I called the next number they gave me and had to wait 10 days for service. The man came out and said it needed a part that had to be ordered.
Three weeks later, they are telling me that the part is back-ordered and might come in next week and then I will wait until they can schedule another service call. Buyers beware. Consequences: I have to go to the laundromat 3 times a week lugging sheets, towels, etc. I am over 70 and find it difficult. Dryer, front load gas DG60FA-US, has a flawed design in the lint filter. Lint passes around the filter and out through the hose no matter how clean it is kept. My backyard is full of lint since the company and their service man recommended removing the guard from the exit portal outside, as it was clogging in several days. I was told there was nothing wrong with the filter, which certainly appears to work as designed. It is simply a horrible design. Since so much lint flows out of the ducting, it must also mean there is a great deal trapped within the machine and the duct itself which is a fire hazard. Seems that some GE models are designed the same (one is making the other dryers of at least this model). Horrible, pathetic design.

I purchased a Fisher Paykel Washer because after research I saw it was supposed to be the best for saving electricity & water and had a seemingly good reputation. I should have looked at this site and would not have even gone to look at them EVER. There, so far, have been six repairs. The day before Thanksgiving 2008, it began knocking while spinning and would walk all over the floor. I called the repair place that does the Fisher Paykel still under warranty and was told I would have to wait until Dec 4. He came, looked inside and said the bar was off on one side. I told him I had seen that, put it back myself and it would come right off and that if he would let me wash a load, he could see how fast that would happen... He said he had no time for that and left.
Well, of course, it still didn't work. I called them and they came this time in two days...fixed the same thing. But I insisted he call Fisher Paykel while here too. He did, but got no good answers to help him from them. He left. I called his boss who called Fisher Paykel and then called and told me Fisher Paykel would send a representative to look and give a second opinion. No one called. No one came. Today, Dec. 30, I called Fisher Paykel and am told I must call a different appliance center, wait for them to come out in 2 weeks, of course, and then they will call Fisher Paykel from my home and decide if this piece of junk is fixable!
The washer is the worst piece of junk I have ever owned! It does not wash clothes well, is not controllable, jumps, knocks, bangs and walks around the washroom and leaves the clothes so wet I have to wring them out by hand. AND if they want to fix it...it is another 3 weeks to get parts from AUSTRALIA. This is just awful. NEVER buy anything made by this company. Buy AMERICAN and get something people will fix and stand behind and will last for years without any problems...yea! SEARS. Old standbys never disappoint.

We bought the fisher paykel washer based on it's energy efficiency rating and consumer rating at Lowes. Within one year the pump went dead due to rust and corrosion. It looked as though water spilled over and rusted the pump out. Now the electronic board seems to be going. Sometimes when we touch the power button, nothing happens and I have to keep playing with it before it finally starts. My clothes don't seem to get clean either. Not happy with this purchase.

Washer keeps beeping, takes 2 hours to do a load of clothes. Called them had a repair guy here 3 times and 3 times couldn't fix it, Have been with out a washer for 4 weeks now. They want to call another repair person, they can't come for another week. in the warranty it says...If we are unable to repair defective part of the product after a reasonable number of attempts....so don't you think 3 times is reasonabale and is there a lemon law on wahers?

My wife and I finally had enough money to purchase a matching set washer and dryer. We go to Lowe's and find Fisher and Paykel, who are supposed to be Consumer Products rated number 1. I am returning this set today almost one year later. The washing machine has been broken three times in eleven months. This is the worst major appliance purchase we have ever made. Fisher and Paykel refuse to stand behind their product. Lowe's will be refunding my money towards another brand today.

First of all, let me say that I can't begin to tell you how horrible the Fisher & Paykel dryer is that I bought less than two years ago. I had it only three months when it broke and it took nearly three months to get it back working again. Now here it is less than two years old and again it's broken. So I called for repair. I had a hard time finding a repair company because I work and need repairs done in the evenings or on the weekend.
Finally I get someone who says they do repair Fisher & Paykel (and that is a must to find out before allowing any repair service into your home) and they could be there on Sunday May 25. The minute he arrives and starts to take my machine apart I am wary because I have seen it repaired before and he is looking in the wrong area for the working parts. But I don't say anything because I am not a repair person and I figure he knows what he is doing. He finally gets around to taking the front of the machine off and starts testing things. He finally tells me that I need a whole new mother board. What do I know? So I say ok. Get the part and come back and repair this thing.
It is now June 7 and I have not heard a word from him. I called another repair service. And this time I was careful to make sure they were an authorized Fisher Paykel dealer. It turns out that there is nothing wrong with the mother board. The heating element is bad. But there is also some short of short in the machine and may not even be worth fixing. Thank you Fisher Paykel for making such a piece.
Fortunately I have a washer and dryer in the basement that I can use. But I have asthma and having to tote laundry up and down the stairs for the past three weeks has triggered several asthma attacks. To say nothing of what it is now going to cost me to replace this machine. And the $70.00 paid to a repair service that absolutely had no business clainimg that they could repair a Fisher Paykel dryer.

Buying the FP Dishdrawers was the worst purchase I have ever made. Normal dishes don't fit, no place for cooking utensils or large pots. Washes poorly. Noisy. Top side racks totally useless. It's fine however if you use Corel dishes, they're small enough. I'm two years out and on my 3rd service call. Water draining into the wrong tub, broken piece that the wash arm sits on, and out of sync servo units on the lid seal....couldn't open the drawer, had to force it. The repairman told me that every single one they've sold has needed to be repaired at least once. How's that for quality! As soon as Bosch goes on sale I'm buying.

My husband and I build our own home. Since my husband is a contractor, we took advantage of a promotion Fisher & Paykel had and purchased our appliances early at a contractor's price. The appliances remained at the store warehouse for approximately 6 months at the salespersons invitation. When our house was weather ready with roof and walls, we had the appliances delivered to our home, where they sat in the garage amongst the cabinets, for approximately another 6 moths. We got the final inspection in February of this year and moved in on March 28 of this year.
Approximately 4 months later, at 11:00pm the middle glass of the lower oven shattered. We were all sleeping and heard the sound of glass breaking! We thought we had an intruder, come to find out it was the oven glass breaking, with tiny bits of glass falling onto the floor from the vent at the bottom of the oven.
I called Build In Distributors, the retailer we purchased our appliances from, who told me the warranty had expired, and I could call one of their authorized repair companies. I also called Fisher and Paykel, who told me basically the same thing. I tried calling several repair stores, however, it was a Saturday and none of them were in and have not returned any of my calls.
A couple of months have gone by now and I still have only one oven in operation. However, after having thought about this more, I don't feel we should be at fault for this glass breaking. It was obviously a manufacture error! I don't feel as though any of these companies have been of any help to me at all.

3 months after we purchased the dishdrawer - it stopped working properly. When the top drawer washed, the bottom one filled with dirty water, when the bottom drawer washed, the top one filled with dirty water.
Called Fisher/Paykel - used their certified repair people - They replaced, some rubber flap, and it worked fine, for 3 months - again, called and someone came out and did the same thing. Worked for 3 months - again called and this time, they sent those small flaps to my house - a box of them, so when ever they came over they would have them.

I bought a Fisher & Paykel washing machine in 06/03/04. I did research and this was suppose to be the best washing machine you could buy. On Sept 19,2005 my machine starting leaking from underneath the machine even when turned off. Also the switchboard on machine went dead. I am very upset only had machine a little over a year.
It took some research to find somebody to work on it. The company originally given to me from Fisher & paykel would take over a week to come out to look at it. Fisher & Paykel did not have the repair place on their list even though they were authorized warranty on their brand.
The second repair company came out quickly to fix the machine. It water pump and the switchboard had gone out.
I contacted Fisher & Paykel to demand a new machine. I seemed to be getting the run around. _I have never had a washing machine go out in a year.

This is a complaint about a Fisher & Paykel double drawer dishwasher.
My wife and I bought a new home in Simi Valley California in December of 1999. It came with a GE garden variety dishwasher, which my wife was not happy with from day one. She had a top of the line Kitchen Aid in our previous home and had excellent results and reliability.
In 2001, we were looking at some new model homes in the area and came across the Fisher & Paykel double drawer dishwasher. The unit looked well made and seemed to be a very efficient way of handling the dishwashing needs of our household. We explored the cost and found them to be about twice the price of a well made Kitchen Aid washer, but with the added convenience of two drawers and supposedly, high-end reliability and performance, we went ahead and paid approximately $1,300 for the unit.
I must admit that I declined the added service warranty, which I always do, because anyone who knows, knows that it is generally a waste of money unless you have a very unreliable item. Most of the electronic items, such as this dishwasher, which has a computer control system, will exhibit any problems in the first 60 to 90 days...what they call infant failure problems. After that, unless you are extremely unlucky or you've bought a piece of junk, you shouldn't have problems over a normal life of the product. My mistake.
The Fisher and Paykel dishwasher exhibited problems after about 6 months of usage. Over the next three years, long after the warranty had expired, the unit leaked, we had the repairman out a number of times. For the past year, we have only been using the top drawer because the bottom drawer leaked and caused moisture to build-up in the cabinetry where the washer was located.
This past week, August 20, 2004, the unit has completely stopped functioning. We had a repairman come out and assess the situation. He determined that both drawers had excessive leaks and that the leaking from the top drawer had soaked the electronics of the washer and that the computer system for the washer was blown. The cost of repair would be about half of what the new unit cost.
We have contacted the store that we bought the unit from, Warehouse Discount Center in Agoura Hills, California, on numerous occasions, and they basically told us that they didn't give a damn, and that, had we bought the extended warranty, that we would have been covered.
We have spent nearly $10,000 with this dealer over the past four years, but I can assure you, that will come to an end. I can't say that the dealership is the major culprit because they did not build this unreliable piece of junk, the people at Fisher and Paykel did. But since they are located in Australia, they might as well be on the other side of the moon.
We have tried to contact them, sent letters, with no response. They have been completely uncooperative.
It is also important for everyone reading this to know that we are now in the process of trying to have the mold removed from the kitchen cabinets. The cabinet where the dishwasher resides is a disaster, along with the adjoining cabinets which also have mold. I'm unsure how much will be involved in resolving this problem. We could be in for replacing that entire section of the kitchen cabinetry. That also entails the removal of the granite countertops and possibly even the sink.
I wish it were just the cost of the damn dishwasher, but this thing has really gotten out of hand.
The repairman that have come out on a half-dozen occasions to re-repair this unit have made comments about how many other Fisher & Paykel units have also experienced leaks just like ours. They said that about 4 months after we purchased our unit, Fisher and Paykel came out with a new and improved model which was suppose to address the leaking issue. I don't know how well these newer models have functioned, but I can't imagine how they could be any worse than the unit we purchased.
What upsets me most about that is, if they knew that there were problems of leaking, why didn't they retrofit the existing units for the customers who previously bought their product in good faith, and who, like ourselves, are going to eat the entire cost, not to mention the repair to the kitchen cabinets?

I purchased a Fisher & Paykel dishwasher in March of 2000. The motor rotor has been replaced three times since then. The top drawer fails to drain. The third trip out, the repairman said the motor roto which was previously installed by him was defective. He replaced the part and assured me that there would be no charge as Fisher & Paykel had a two year warranty. I advised him that my warranty expired only three months ago. He said it would not be a problem since the previous part was defective.
One week later I received a call from the repair shop that Fisher & Paykel declined the warranty extention and I would be charged for labor and service of $107.00!!! The part, however would be covered.
Why should I have to pay for labor and service to repair a part that was defective at installation while my warranty was still valid? They told me to take it up with Fisher & Paykel. I did. Fisher & Paykel said that the labor charges would be covered but that the repair company should contact them directly.
The repair company insists that Fisher & Paykel has declined to extend the warranty. I am stuck between these two entities with an outstanding charge for labor and service. I find it disapointing that after purchasing a high end product, that I am stuck fighting a battle would should be done by the company and the repair people and not me.
