We purchased the Electrolux washer and dryer set, 700 series in September 2024. To replace our 20-year-old Bosch set. Since there is only hubby and - kids have moved out I figured we wouldn’t be using it much plus we are away from home 3 months of the year. As of July 2025 there have has 4 service calls for the washing machine. (Still under original 1 yr warranty.) It’s finally fixed….for now! But when the repair man was here, I had him listen to the sound the dryer was making. He knew immediately, It was a plastic pulley part that sounds like it should be recalled (but Electrolux hasn’t officially done this). Part Is on backorder (because of large demand for it) so now I’m awaiting for this repair. Yes this set has more bells and whistles than my Bosch, which had knobs and no repairs in 20 years..But SO not worth the HUGE HASSLE!

A very disappointing purchase. Thank God for Costco. Costco delivered a new washer & dryer combo made by Electrolux on May 14th. I connected the washer and it works great. The dryer needed to be converted to propane, so I ordered the conversion kit, but it came with a Gas orifice. I called Electrolux to get the proper one shipped and the agent told me I had to pay for it again and it would be 7-10 days. I refused and asked to speak to a manager. Click, end of call. I paid for another one and then when I plugged it in, the dryer blew the breaker. I called back to get this resolved and 2 or 3 calls later again with disconnects, I got a reference # and a company to come look at it. That took another 3 weeks to get him here. Defective motherboard.

We have a broken washing machine from Electrolux that is under warranty. They requested that we pay for the technician to troubleshoot the washing machine and we did in April and to date nothing has occurred although we’ve been promised the parts will be shipped and technician would come and fix the issue, promises that were never kept. We have made multiple phone calls spoken to multiple representatives and none of them know what they’re talking about they all give us a different story and they wind up hanging up on you so they don’t have to deal with it. Specially, when you ask for a supervisor or a manager. I would strongly suggest avoiding this company at any cost as their service is horrendous. Their communication skills are nonexistent and they really don’t care about satisfying their clients.

If I could give a negative number, I would definitely do that. Brand new washer and dryer. Neither units work properly. The dryer has snagged all my clothes and the washer clunks extremely loud when it is working. Electrolux has told me that they won’t take the product back because they can’t resell it! Not even how to respond to that statement!!!! This has been the worst experience I’ve ever dealt with and I would never refer anyone to any Electrolux product! Absolutely stay away from any of their products! I’m now stuck with a brand new washer and dryer and the company doesn’t stand behind the product because they know it’s a piece of junk!

The dryer is 4 months old but only worked for 2 of them. Two months ago they sent a repair tech which took weeks. He determined the circuit board was bad and had to order one … Come to find out the part is on back order… Repair guy came out again. Very nice repair guy …. but can help. Still part on back order… We called Electrolux, Talked to a guy named LJ. Not his name. He is from India. Was no help. Would not give us a supervisor to talk to …. So we go on for more than 2 months with no dryer …. Not always a good idea to buy an expensive dryer… Same same.

Bought an Electrolux washing machine in April 2025. The washer was scratched really bad on one side of the washer. Also, a couple of scratches on the top of the washer. We paid for undamaged new washer. We were told by someone who sells appliances that about half of appliances shipped by manufacturers arrive at retail places damaged. My husband and I are disabled senior citizens. We feel cheated by them delivering a damaged appliance to us.

Bought stackable washer dryer 6 months ago. Broke down and would not drain. Sent out repairman and found out in order to fix they had to lay machine out on its back. He had to request a second helper. Repair company said it can take 4 weeks or more for Electrolux to confirm. Should have checked reviews more clearly regarding warranty service. Will never buy an electrolux product again.

I strayed from my usual Samsung brand... BIG mistake! It does not dry well, especially towels. I tried smaller loads. Still not good. The lint trap is ridiculous. It balls up the lint and does not make it easy to get off. Lint sticks to the seal of the door. Water from the laundry pools in the pedestal for whatever reason. Just overall trash of a brand.

I am very disappointed with my Electrolux dryer, which has required three repairs and still makes squeaky noise. I have contacted the company but haven't received a response yet. Very frustrating! I shouldn’t be dealing with this as it is brand new.

Called to let them know my 2 month old washer was broke. They made the appointment over the telephone and I took the day off for someone to come out and fix it. No one ever showed. Called the company and they said no one ever made the appointment. Call the company back to see what’s happening and they have it registered under a different name but same washer. I’m on fire now they are telling me they can’t send someone out. What is going on?? Horrible customer service.

Wash looks great but washes terribly. Had the washer a little over a year. Not worth the hype. The start buttons are sensitive. I think the was is washing to come back 1 he later and it blinking paused even though I ensured a successfully started because it would lock. Mold build ups in washer. I continue to clean, I did not have to do this with my $400 GE top load at all. The round seal builds up even after leaving it open to air dry. All of the recommendations saw online did not work. I so want my money back for these. Very time consuming

Still waiting on the correct part. Electrolux states the replacing of a machine that is a lemon or getting a refund is not an option.

In 2021 we purchased an Electrolux washer and dryer. The machines clean and dry adequately, however In May of 2023, the washer started making a good bit of noise and the dryer door rattled. We had a service call and were told by the technician that "if he had to pull the machine out from against the wall it would cost as much as a new machine and the dryer door rattle was unfixable, the latch of the dryer door would eventually fail and be kicked open by the laundry inside." May of 2025 we find we can no longer tolerate the noise as it has risen to an ear damaging noise level and the customer service from Electrolux is ineffective, inconsistent and maddeningly confusing, so we will reluctantly replace the machines. I am not sure what the company's goal is with this type of awful customer service, but consumers need to know if purchased they are likely on their own if any issues arise.

Purchased an oven back in December which was broken on delivery on the inside. It's now almost 6 months later and still getting the run around from the call center in the Philippines who have sent multiple broken spare parts and arranged for engineers to attend who don't show up. I asked for a replacement and was told no can do. The manufacturers warranty with this company is worthless.

Brand new washing machine worked for two weeks and then started having issues. The customer service SUCKS! If you’re able to get a human on the phone, they barely speak English and are condescending and rude. I called Monday and today is Thursday almost end of day and I am STILL waiting for a technician to come out. Their hold times on the phone are atrocious and the person will put you on hold even longer and then tell you some non-helpful generic answer. Once you buy the appliance and it’s delivered, the store will do nothing to help you and they make you call the manufacturer until the one year warranty is up. Just save yourself the hassle and buy a different brand to begin with!!!

Poor quality. Broke a little after one year. I had issues with the dryer ruining cloths. They came out and fixed. After it started making a terrible noise and quit working well guess what I’m out of warranty. Thank Electrolux.

Love the washer and dryer, on my second set. With that said I hope you never have to call in for a repair or talk to customer service. Make sure to have 1-2 hours for each phone call you make to them as they will put you on hold for 45 min to an hour just to talk to a human. The delivery team scratched the washer during delivery and I am 4 hours into trying to get a new door. It would have been easier to have them replace the whole unit for a small scuff than replace the door.

Electrolux 600series dryer brand new has small amount of water dripping from bottom of dryer door. Customer service is outsourced, representatives are quick to help but when you ask for a supervisor the response that I received was “none available for 48 hrs due to system upgrade”… then when I push back the rep says “let me get a supervisor“, then Daniel all of a sudden is available but was the most unfriendly, talked over me, interrupted me, until I hung up. There is no way to contact Electrolux USA directly. I will never buy directly from Electrolux, best to buy from an appliance store that has their own repair team. Also, Electrolux contracts with repair companies that are not reliable, they keep canceling.

Do not buy a Electrolux appliance. My washer broke after four uses. They are unable to honor their one year warranty. Go round and rounds with customer service agents. I’ve had eight calls and still no service technician available. They don’t have any qualified repair technicians available to fix their product that shouldn’t of broke after four uses.

I purchased an Electrolux washer and dryer June 2022. Already need new tub/ shell for washer. I called customer service and purchased items needed. They told me if I buy 1 year extended warranty for $100 the repair would be covered. So I did that. They said once you receive parts call as to schedule service. I received parts last week (April 21). I called to Electrolux customer service to schedule appt. They said my contract does not start until June 6! That’s not what I was told by customer rep named Honey. I asked to speak to a supervisor and he hung on me. After sitting on hold for 90 min trying to sort issue out. Horrible horrible customer service. If you don’t plan on buying extending warranty from the initial purchase, DO NOT BUY ELECTROLUX.

I thought this brand is good but in fact it’s worse than others. Got the dryer machine and been using it less than 2 years and it broke. The technician suggested not to buy this brand then he fixed but still not working. The technician was trying to diagnose what caused this coming from but still don’t know. We checked ventilation and everything but still in mystery. However, I gave up and thinking about buying a new machine. So I called Electrolux customer service and she offered me Family discount 50% off. Guess what. The price is ridiculous higher than full time price of Maytag. I told them if I had to pay this price I’d rather buying a Maytag.

Bought Electrolux dryer (600 Series Gas Dryer - 8.0 Cu. Ft.) in December. Failed immediately. One month to get replacement. Failed again two months later. Electrolux approves replacement and then orders the pedestal, not the dryer. After five weeks, they decide that a repair may be possible. Still waiting. Avoid.

The Electrolux stacked washer dryer we bought is hands down the worst appliance I have ever bought. In the few years I have owned it, the belt for the dryer has either broken or fallen off six times. This thing is a piece of junk and was top dollar when purchased.

I bought the Electrolux Luxcare Plus Wash washer. It's JUNK! l must constantly run a second rinse cycle, if not a third if I use Pods. Very disappointed with quality of this machine. Also, extremely loud.

My wife and I are very disappointed with the Electrolux washer. The reason why we purchased the washer is because the GE washers were on backorder for over 6 months. We were in the middle of remodeling our home and we need a washer and dryer. We were told the Electrolux Washer was a quality product. We had it for a little over a year and our clothes started to smell odd odor. The smell continued to get stronger, so I began cleaning the washer on a weekly basis. That helped a little, but the odor would not go away. There is really no way to clean the washer unless you take apart the entire front of the washer off or call for washing machine person to come out and clean the washer.

Terrible dryer. Takes 3 hours to dry a small load of towels. Brought the new stackable washer dryer coni from Costco. Costco would not take it back. Although we reported the problem to them immediately. Electrolux would not exchange it or accept responsibility although their own technician from R&R said it was a terrible dryer as reported by many others.

I purchased a washer and dryer from Electrolux that was delivered on February 15th. On February 18th, the washer completely stopped working. 4 weeks later, 10+ hours spent trying to get a resolution from Electrolux customer service, and mold in my washer, we find out that the control board and drain pump are faulty. It gets better, the parts take 2 weeks to get and another day long service visit. So after spending $1,782 on a washer and dryer and probably 2 days of PTO, I will be at 6 weeks without the ability to wash or dry clothes… and six weeks is a minimum. The machine is a lemon and needs to be replaced. I would not recommend buying an Electrolux appliance to my worst enemy.

Customer Service leaves little to be desired. I purchased a house with a stackable but it was disgusting. I ordered the part and set up the service date. 3/3/2025. I requested that if there was something sooner to please call and let me know as I have not been able to use the machine for 2 weeks. There was nothing sooner- no problem - I called the Friday to before to confirm that the 3rd is still a good date - yes it is. The 3rd of March arrives and I hear nothing. I called and after a 30 minute hold I am told the appointment has been moved to the 7th March. How does this go from requesting something sooner to getting something a whole week later. If this is their logic I am not sure I want to use Electrolux. Phone operators speak broken English and you have to ask them to repeat to understand them.

Purchased directly thru Electrolux’s website. The website stated haul away of old appliances was free and installation was available and parts were free with a little star I did not notice. The star stated these were not available in all areas. There was no place in checkout to check for haul away and installation so I thought we were in an area it was offered in and was included.

Stay away from Electrolux! I purchased an Electrolux gas dryer and washer in 2023. Then the door on the gas dryer does not seal causing condensation to leak out onto the floor. I had technicians in to look at the machine and they could find no reason to explain the leaking. Electrolux says this is normal. I have videos and pictures showing water dripping down the outside of the machine. Electrolux did not do anything to help the situation. Don't waste your money on Electrolux appliances.
