    Horrible Customer service and Extended Warranty coverage and response. Purchased Front load washer #ELFW7637BT, started experiencing problems with error code E11, apparently the washer was taking too long to fill and would only run one setting and sometimes had to be restarted numerous times in order to complete the cycle. Called in our extended warranty coverage that was purchased, scheduled an appointment. Unstacked the dryer to give access to the washer, moved the washer for accessibility, all the tech would have to do is diagnose and replace parts, the plate was set for the easiest service call.

    Emailed received, "Sorry the technician is over booked, we have to reschedule your service." Just gave us an arbitrary date that we have to now comply with, now the reschedule date comes and goes, no call, no email, we call. "Oh the technician is over booked again. They can't make the service call." No proactive call, no heads up. I requested a full refund of the purchased extended warranty, that obviously cannot be honored or fulfilled.

    We had a brand new 700 series set front loader washer and dryer delivered on 1/6/26. It came highly recommended from a reputable family-owned appliance store. It was installed and a test run by the installer and I noted that the machines were extremely noisy and thumping sounds from the dryer. The installer assured me it was "because it was new." Hello, that's just untrue! It is now a week later and a tech came out and advised us he would order new parts for the dryer (the worse of the set) and we called the retailer and are now waiting to find out when they will just get the products out of our house!

    After paying taxes, extra insurance and all the little stuff that goes with these things, we spent almost $3,000! I had a Samsung set for 11 years that I wasn't thrilled with, but not as loud as this duo! Who knows what will happen, but I'm hoping the retailer will do the right thing. As I write this, the thumping and thudding is coming through the walls as a small load is drying. Electrolux should have stuck to vacuum cleaners, in my opinion.

    Decided to spend the $2500+ on a washer-dryer with what I thought would be a quality long lasting set from a reputable higher end company. Ordered on Nov 30 with an install on Dec. 18. Our washer and dryer were both badly damaged by the RXO delivery team during installation from the metal buckles on the lifting straps. I even told the guys accidents happen. However, from there it is up to the customer to reconcile the problem. RXO takes no responsibility. This is where it gets exhausting and hours on hours of phone calls, chats, emails and DMs.

    Electrolux outsources everything and releases ownership once it leaves their warehouse. You will deal with a minimum of 4 outsourced agents. The warehouse agent, shipping agent, delivery team agent and customer service agent. There is no backend that integrates with the agents, so when you call the non-existent customer service they will have you relay all the same order details and history and put you on hold for a minimum of 50 minutes just to come back and say they are looking into it, their system is always down and will get back with you, which of course they do not. In the meantime, they have sat on our $2500+ drawing interest. Had I seen all the poor customer service reviews all over the internet, I would never had made this purchase. I have emailed several times that I will pursue a chargeback for non delivery if no update. As of Jan. 13, still no replacement or update!

    We have a front load Electrolux model #EFLS627UTT2. We have to clean the door close seal every couple of weeks to keep mold from growing. We live ok with that, but now the door close mechanism no longer works and we cannot use our washing machine. The soonest that the paid for company "extended service" can schedule a repair visit is 7 days later. The time that this happened with our dryer the repair team had to order a new circuit board which added a week, and that did not work either. We might be luckier this time, but for a high end company, Electrolux does not help us with their poor service.

    Stay away from this company. The washer dispenser drawer handle fell off after 1 month. Had it replaced. Same thing happened again. Replaced a third time. We shall see how long before it falls apart. Dryer is making some seriously loud noises as if the whole dryer is about to fall apart, dryer leaks/drips water. Never saw dryer leak/drip water. Well after all the 1 star reviews I wonder how long it will take for a class action lawsuit against this manufacturer of poorly made appliances. Shame on you Electrolux. Never again will I purchase your brand. Not that any of the other brands are much better. Thanks to our elected officials. Companies are allowed to get away with this crap.

    Customer service is not good. I flipped the doors to open the opposite way. The dryer lines up okay. The washer door doesn’t line up good at all. Customer service didn’t want to hear what I had to say. That is a factory defect! I don’t really have a problem with our units per se. Performance wise, the only negative thing is the dryer doesn’t dry completely after a full cycle using boost button or not. It’s possible to say the vent side doesn’t have good flow. That’s one possible reason. If the vent is not an issue, it’s a dryer problem. My units are maybe 14 months old.

    FYI, switch the doors THE DAY YOU GET THEM. We didn’t really care they opened up the wrong way when installed. I got bored one day and decided to flip them. I called customer service to tell them it doesn’t line up perfectly only to cover my end if it damaged it somehow. I would absolutely try a different brand. They aren’t the most quiet either and that was a selling point when researching these machines.

    We purchased a dryer 10 months ago and had trouble within 3 days. When the machine was on automatic it would run 30 or 40 minutes after the clothes are completely dry instead of shutting down. Their ad says “the sensor dry is designed to optimize the drying process to detect moisture levels in your clothes to prevent over drying”. We have had 5 calls from the local serviceman from where we purchased the dryer and he could not fix it. Then we contacted Electrolux. They have now sent up 3 different companies who can’t get it to shut off when the clothes are dry. They all say it is working properly to the Electrolux spec??? They will not replace the dryer and now have ordered another serviceman to come to check it out. The dryer does not work properly.

    I purchased an Electrolux Washer (ELFW7637AT) and Dryer (ELFE7637AT) on 12/12/2022 from Hahn Appliance in Tulsa. The washer has had problems since I purchased. It doesn't pull fabric softener or bleach into the machine. I had a service call on 8/30/2023 and was told it was because I used too much detergent! I have just lived with the issue UNTIL 11/13/2025 and the water inlet valve failed and flooded my laundry room. I unplugged the machine and finally had to turn off the water to get it to stop pumping water. They replaced that part and when it was turned on it was making a horrible noise. The repairman said the rear drum with bearing has to be replaced. I paid $988.15 for the machine, $180 for the pedestal, $410 for extended warranty for the set and have not been able to use it at all for 3 weeks. In my opinion Electrolux knows that this machine is a problem but they don't care.

    Electrolux washer/dryer. Bought the warranties on both… and have never had to use them. Finally called them, due to loud noise in dryer. Technician came out, listened, and said it needed a part, he could clearly tell by just listening to it. Ordered the part (2 boxes came about a week later). Called and scheduled the tech. I received text notifications again on the date, and estimated time. That day I got a text that the tech. was on his way. A couple minutes later, a text saying appointment was cancelled. Called again. Got no good answer, except they were swamped.

    Made another appointment. Got the text, got a text the tech was on the way, then cancelled. Called again. Another appointment made. This time, they sent me a text the day prior to that appointment, saying the tech was on the way. Never showed up. This keeps going on and on! Appt was AGAIN scheduled for TODAY. So, yesterday I received a text that the tech would be here between 7:30-9:30 am. Then another text that said “tech is at the call prior to you and will be on his way. And, never showed. This morning I waited for the 7:30-9:30 window… and still no tech. My husband called them and had a 30-minute conversation with them. They have a tech to now show up today between 12:00-1:00. This company is HORRIBLE to work with! We’re retired, so we’re here. But if someone had to take some time off work to be home and let a tech in, and had to do that 3, 4, 5 TIMES… that’s TERRIBLE!

    Bought my washer, 500 Series, roughly a year ago. The entire year was good until May when I bought the matching dryer and after a couple months they had to come out and replace one of the wheels inside because it was making an incredibly loud noise when spinning. About a week after or so, the GFI outlet tripped for the washer. Reset it and several days later tripped again. It got to the point, Every time we plugged it back in, GFI would trip. Called service, they said my warranty was expired but when I go to my orders it clearly states, Manufacturer warranty expires 11/9/25. Argued with customer service for a good 10 minutes. Finally they said it would be covered. Came out to fix, had to order parts, but somehow machine started working again.

    Technician said to use until parts come and had to make another appointment which was 2 weeks later. 3 days passed same issue, parts arrived but now I have to wait for the technician to come back out and install new parts. So I guess they have so many machines breaking down you have to wait 2 weeks for another appointment. After spending over $1800 dollars on appliances that's the service you get. Disappointed is not the word for how I feel about Electrolux. Poor customer service and no loyalty to their customers. And our towels are stuck in machine, in water, because we can't open the door. Purchased from Electrolux not a big box store.

    If I could give this company zero stars I would. The WORST quality machines and customer service. I have a 6 month old dryer which stopped working. I contacted the customer service and it’s been 2.5 weeks and there hasn’t been an update. Nothing is fixed and customer service isn’t giving a straight answer.

    My husband used the sanitizing cycle and boom; the washing machine exploded in the middle of the night. Their customer service aren't giving me straight answers. They said it's out of warranty, but this is a safety issue. They overlooked the glass shards inside the drum and suggested replacing the door. Would you wear clothes washed in this machine?

    Bought A dryer. After 2 weeks, it broke. Spent the next 3 weeks trying to get Lowe's, Electrolux and Doc Appliance to communicate and fix. Electrolux would not communicate with Lowes or Doc Appliance nor I about fixing and providing necessary information to repair. Spent hours and 6-8 phone calls trying to get the dryer fixed. Finally convinced Lowes to exchange with a LG dryer. Electrolux makes terrible products and cares nothing about customers.

    BUYER BEWARE. DON'T BUY THIS WASHER/DRYER UNIT - Electrolux (made by Frigidaire). Purchased stackable washer/dryer January 2024- June 2025 (17 mo old) issued with water draining for washer. Called for warranty and was advised out of the 1 yr warranty with no customer service options for diagnosis and or repairs. Asked to speak with manager and rep hung up. Called back again asking for manager, was told someone will call me back. No return call.

    Had to hire appliance repair company that came out and the washer drain pump went out. Called again for any sort of customer service concession. Again was told it's out of warranty with no option and or offer to help. Spent $550.00 to fix this barely 18 month old unit. Sent formal letter and several e-mails to Electrolux corp headquarters. It's now 2 months later, no response. AGAIN if you want poor customer service, appliance that may not last this would be it!

    I am extremely disappointed with my Electrolux washer-dryer set, especially considering how expensive it was. The dryer has been making loud, unpleasant noises on and off, like scraping metal. I’ve already had to contact customer service twice about the issue. Each time, technicians came and replaced parts here and there, but the problem was never properly fixed. The service felt careless, and the quality of both the product and support has been very poor. For the price I paid, I expected durability and reliability, but instead, I’ve been left frustrated and dissatisfied. I would not recommend this set.

    1 month without a refrigerator! Got an estimate for the repairs today and it is about $100 less than a new refrigerator RETAIL!!! On the bright side, Sears Appliance Repair told me today that they should be able to repair it on SEPTEMBER THE 8TH!!!!

    We recently purchased an Electrolux washer-dryer set. We have found the dryer is very poor. We need to put the clothes and particularly towels on "heavy duty" for hours to dry them. Would not recommend. We called for warranty service and were told if the repairman came and found no problems, we would be responsible his costs. Tried to return machines to Home Depot, but no luck. Advised dryer will often set itself on eco mode. Which is synonymous with no heat.

    Absolutely horrible customer service. I had an ongoing issue with my washer well within the 1 year warranty period. A repair person was sent but didn't fix the issue. Electrolux are not honouring their 1 year warranty period for an ongoing issue with the washer and are making the experience very difficult to deal with. The customer service is atrocious. Instead of fixing the issue with the washer, they simply provide reasons why the unit cannot be replaced, despite it being within the warranty period.

    I own 2 Electrolux washers and a dryer. One washer didn't last 5 years. Had several repairs and finally tossed it. The other washer is in the basement and has been "worry free" with no issues. Dryer is 2.5 years. Today there was water leaking in to my basement from the laundry room. Plumber came and found excessive water under the dryer and I have to assume the water line going to the dryer to provide steam was the problem. Water line not leaking There was water inside the dryer.

    Ok now comes the fun part after I paid the plumber $200 basically for nothing. Tried to get a repair service via the Electrolux website--impossible. Back and forth with chat option finally I was told it would be $300+ to book an appointment. At that point I called Electrolux and was told the same thing. I simply wanted to be given names of reputable repair companies so that I could book an appointment myself. Still no response. I find it unacceptable that a dryer used by a household of 2 people could even require a repair after only 2 years and the response from Electrolux was beyond poor.

    I have had a set of Electrolux washer and dryer for over 20 years!! Front load and I love everything about them!! The washer cleans better than any other machine I have ever had!!! A dryer is great too!! I do not use all the cycles. I have my own favorite ones!! Never had a mechanical problem in all the time I have had them!!! In fact I got on ConsumerAffairs to see what brand they say are best!!! I was surprised to see the star value is only one star!!! It needs to be much higher for Electrolux!! I have an Lg appliance set now and despise them!! I will never buy another any kind of appliance that lg makes!!’ I am purchasing a new washer and dryer for our other home and I am buying electrolux!!! When I need a new refrigerator and range and dishwasher they will also be Frigidaire or electrolux!!! Thank you. Sharon

    We purchased the Electrolux washer and dryer set, 700 series in September 2024. To replace our 20-year-old Bosch set. Since there is only hubby and - kids have moved out I figured we wouldn’t be using it much plus we are away from home 3 months of the year. As of July 2025 there have has 4 service calls for the washing machine. (Still under original 1 yr warranty.) It’s finally fixed….for now! But when the repair man was here, I had him listen to the sound the dryer was making. He knew immediately, It was a plastic pulley part that sounds like it should be recalled (but Electrolux hasn’t officially done this). Part Is on backorder (because of large demand for it) so now I’m awaiting for this repair. Yes this set has more bells and whistles than my Bosch, which had knobs and no repairs in 20 years..But SO not worth the HUGE HASSLE!

    Cons with Washer: when a load is finished, the LED lights turn off after a while so you could easily forget that you’ve left a load in there. (My Bosch stayed lit, even days later.) Also, it should have a lock feature so that the keypad is locked while it’s running. Dryer Cons: there should be a setting for under 30 minutes for the timed dry selection and The lint trap design uggg, it’s is folded like a book, so very awkward to remove & clean easily! I wouldn’t purchase this set again.

    A very disappointing purchase. Thank God for Costco. Costco delivered a new washer & dryer combo made by Electrolux on May 14th. I connected the washer and it works great. The dryer needed to be converted to propane, so I ordered the conversion kit, but it came with a Gas orifice. I called Electrolux to get the proper one shipped and the agent told me I had to pay for it again and it would be 7-10 days. I refused and asked to speak to a manager. Click, end of call. I paid for another one and then when I plugged it in, the dryer blew the breaker. I called back to get this resolved and 2 or 3 calls later again with disconnects, I got a reference # and a company to come look at it. That took another 3 weeks to get him here. Defective motherboard.

    It is now July 16. I called Costco, they immediately replaced the dryer. The motherboard has been on order for the other dryer and still not in. 63 days later, I am finally up and running. I was on hold for all calls (likely 5 times) for at least 45 min. I finally got a manager that sent me his email to help me back on June 16. He has never returned my emails. Totally disgusted with Electrolux and will never buy their product again.

    We have a broken washing machine from Electrolux that is under warranty. They requested that we pay for the technician to troubleshoot the washing machine and we did in April and to date nothing has occurred although we’ve been promised the parts will be shipped and technician would come and fix the issue, promises that were never kept. We have made multiple phone calls spoken to multiple representatives and none of them know what they’re talking about they all give us a different story and they wind up hanging up on you so they don’t have to deal with it. Specially, when you ask for a supervisor or a manager. I would strongly suggest avoiding this company at any cost as their service is horrendous. Their communication skills are nonexistent and they really don’t care about satisfying their clients.

    If I could give a negative number, I would definitely do that. Brand new washer and dryer. Neither units work properly. The dryer has snagged all my clothes and the washer clunks extremely loud when it is working. Electrolux has told me that they won’t take the product back because they can’t resell it! Not even how to respond to that statement!!!! This has been the worst experience I’ve ever dealt with and I would never refer anyone to any Electrolux product! Absolutely stay away from any of their products! I’m now stuck with a brand new washer and dryer and the company doesn’t stand behind the product because they know it’s a piece of junk!

    The dryer is 4 months old but only worked for 2 of them. Two months ago they sent a repair tech which took weeks. He determined the circuit board was bad and had to order one … Come to find out the part is on back order… Repair guy came out again. Very nice repair guy …. but can help. Still part on back order… We called Electrolux, Talked to a guy named LJ. Not his name. He is from India. Was no help. Would not give us a supervisor to talk to …. So we go on for more than 2 months with no dryer …. Not always a good idea to buy an expensive dryer… Same same.

    Bought an Electrolux washing machine in April 2025. The washer was scratched really bad on one side of the washer. Also, a couple of scratches on the top of the washer. We paid for undamaged new washer. We were told by someone who sells appliances that about half of appliances shipped by manufacturers arrive at retail places damaged. My husband and I are disabled senior citizens. We feel cheated by them delivering a damaged appliance to us.

    Bought stackable washer dryer 6 months ago. Broke down and would not drain. Sent out repairman and found out in order to fix they had to lay machine out on its back. He had to request a second helper. Repair company said it can take 4 weeks or more for Electrolux to confirm. Should have checked reviews more clearly regarding warranty service. Will never buy an electrolux product again.

    I strayed from my usual Samsung brand... BIG mistake! It does not dry well, especially towels. I tried smaller loads. Still not good. The lint trap is ridiculous. It balls up the lint and does not make it easy to get off. Lint sticks to the seal of the door. Water from the laundry pools in the pedestal for whatever reason. Just overall trash of a brand.
