Closet World Reviews

The lady that came out from Closet World was very nice and thorough. She spent a while drawing the closet out and telling us what different options we had. We told her things that we wanted like drawers that she incorporated into the design. In the end, I was happy with the plan. However, there were a couple of hiccups on the install day. The guy was a little late out of the timeframe. He came 45 minutes past the end of the timeframe, but it wasn't a big deal 'cause we were available. My husband was home all day.

I gave Closet World a chance this time, and overall, it was a good experience. The rep could get the project done sooner than the other company could. It was for a reach-in closet and I had a drawer, two hanging spaces, and some shelves for shoes. In retrospect though, I should have stood in front of the closet with her and got a better visual because it didn't turn out exactly like I planned. The installation was a bit of a problem in the sense that the bars that the gentleman cut didn't fit very well. I had to have them send me an extra bar. Also, the plan called for 230-inch-wide alcoves to hang clothes in, but he modified them for whatever reason. One was 26 inches and another was 30 inches. I cannot swap hanging bars between the two because the widths are different.

Closet World has a good product and they were fairly priced and I thought they did good work. I had closets installed. It was done in three days. It was high quality. Overall, they put the closets in that I wanted.

I've had Closet World do my closets before, and I had them do my garage cabinet this time. They got here and took the measurements. Then a gentleman came and installed it, and it was rapidly fast. It was a little pricey though. I should have looked at other companies, but I didn't. They didn't do anything wrong, but it's sometimes good to see how someone else can work things out. I could have gone to Home Depot or Lowe's and bought their kit, and it would have been just as good.

IKEA was a cheaper route but looking into it, after you get stuff, you have to pay somebody to put it together. And there’s no warranty. It was a lot of hassle for me to go that route versus saving 1,500 bucks. So, I decided to go with Closet World, and I was part of the design process. I had someone design it before, but I put it on hold as my wife and I were getting married. The original designer started it, and then a new designer finished the process when I purchased it. Everything ran smoothly.

I had used a different provider before. They were very expensive, and I didn't need all that fancy stuff. Closet World is still good, and I'm not getting all crazy in my closet. They did basic closet organization with shelves, drawers, and places to hang clothes. The rep was very knowledgeable. He’s been doing it a long time and the builder did exactly what he said he was going to do. He got it all done in one day and was really polite. Everything was great with Closet World. My husband loves it.

I've heard about Closet World and received a flyer in the mail. After I got their flyer, I checked the website and it was good and complete. Closet World is a big company, so I contacted them. The designer was very nice, friendly, professional and pleasant to work with. I had an office bookshelf installed. It was floor to ceiling with some cabinets. The installation went very smoothly. A younger guy in his early 20s did an excellent job. If I want to do more work, organizing the actual closet, I will contact Closet World again. My experience with them was professional, friendly and efficient. I would recommend using Closet World.

Closet World is three-quarters of the way. The designer had to take down the closet that was already assembled. However, I had a hole in my wall that I needed to have repaired after the install was done. I'm not finished setting up everythin but it appears to be okay. I love the drawers assembled into the closet. Using Closet World helps you declutter because you can't get everything back in.

The designer was very nice. She was very interactive. She took her time and explained. She looked at my closet and explained everything before the installation. She had the vision even before I could see it. Everything with the installation was done the same day, and I was very happy. It doesn't have to be long hours. I would use Closet World again and again. They're good people.

After I had some flooring done, the flooring folks didn't tell me that they weren't going to reinstall my closet doors for me and that changed some things for me. I didn't intend on needing to fix my closets, but I had to. Interestingly, I work with a company that schedules, measures, and installs for window blinds so I know the business pretty well. I went on the Closet World website to initiate the process and I loved it. Everybody communicated with me either by phone or text or email and it was very responsive. I never needed to go back to check anything on my dashboard. I was always in the loop.

I'm happy with Closet World. I told the rep what I wanted, that I didn't want to lose any hanging space and I wanted some shelving and drawers. She drew the picture and she did great. I have a small closet and I thought that I would lose space in my closet, but I gained space. The only thing was she was so cautious to keep the price down that she didn't think to put a backing on it. She could offer people upfront and let them decline it if they don't want it. It turned out that the back of my closet was ripped up. It's an old house, so it had holes in it. I wasn't able to get a construction worker in there fast enough to fix the back of the closet. I had to call the rep back, and she was very responsive to come and order a backboard for the wall. We still got everything done on time but I almost didn't make the deadline because because of that. But she was able to pull it off and get it done. She was lovely.

I saw Closet World online, and I ended up doing my closet with them. I had some bars that had fallen off, and the space in the closet needed more organization. That's what they did, and I was very happy. The price was excellent. In fact, it was very affordable. The rep was very knowledgeable and the installation was done very quickly. I now have much more space.

We had Closet World install a Murphy bed. The designer was very attentive, listened to what we needed, and provided suggestions that would both make sense and save us money. So, I was very appreciative of him. The installation went really quick. The guys were really nice, let me take photos of the installation, and honestly was much faster than I thought it was going to be. Overall, it was just very positive, and we're really happy with the product.

Excellent product, superb installation. Did everything I asked. Wore booties, saved all the the old shelves and poles so I could repurpose them. Highly recommended.

The presence of the woman who came and talked to us was professional, and the service was great, which is why we went with her. We had to push the installation a couple of weeks, and it was a piece of cake. They were very accommodating. We put in cabinets of probably five feet high to put my husband’s stereo equipment on one side of the fireplace and the laser discs, albums and DVDs would go behind the cabinet doors. On the other side, to balance it, I wanted a bench. So, they put a bench with cabinet doors at the bottom. It wasn’t the specific height, and the guy corrected it immediately. He had extra wood, so he raised it. My husband was happy with the guys. Some of the cabinets were loose, and they came back yesterday and corrected it. They were good. If Closet World has what people need, they should try them. They have a great catalog and people will find something in there that works.

Our Closet World project was an open French door, a wide open closet with some shelving and some other stuff in it. It was going to be my husband's closet, and it's got certain things that he wanted to put in there. So, we had to accommodate what he had to store. The installation only took them a day. It was very quick and easy. The work performed was good. It was also easy to schedule. They were here on time. They pulled out some materials and took the stuff with them. It just went according to the way we had set it up.

We use Closet World a lot, from our house in California during the 90s to our house in Vegas. Closet World previously did a complete office and I always show off when people come what a nice job they did. The newest one was they put closets in our garage. The guys were professional. It's a great job. That's why we keep on using them. We're very satisfied. I recommend them to friends, or else we wouldn't keep on using them.

Closet World had a Memorial Day special, and the designer was very pleasant. I had them install a closet from ceiling to floor, shelves, and some cabinets. The whole thing was great, and I definitely would recommend Closet World.

Closet World will listen to what you need and then make it a reality. They also got out quickly. I had a certain amount in my mind that I was going to spend on this closet, and they came in just under that. Plus, the girl who came out and did the initial was nice. I loved her. She seemed to understand that I had a goal, and she didn't try to do anything crazy, or let's do drawers, or I understand you want this, but I've got that, something different. She listened to me. The upgrades, she did suggest, included rounded corners on the shelves. The color black is also usually a little bit more. She brought it down to what white would be. She was just lovely.

I needed a closet as my closet broke. I googled, and Closet World came out. I got an estimate from them and they were pretty fast and efficient. They did a good job. They installed drawers, shelves and a closet for my walk-in closet. It was only one guy and it took him long time to do it because he was by himself. I thought they were going to have three or four guys because it was a big walk-in closet. I felt bad for him because he was going up and down the stairs, taking all of the stuff up there. But he was very nice and polite. The price was a little higher than I thought though.

I liked that Closet World had an easy process and the fact that they can do it customized. The quality of their product seemed a little higher as well. The designer was friendly, professional, and on time. So, it was overall a good interaction and very straightforward. The installation was quick. It only took four hours for them to do it. It was just one technician who did the install. He was friendly and did a good job. The closet is a his and hers type style. So there are two shorter walls and one longer wall. It seems pretty solid and well-built. So, we're all happy with the quality.

I selected Closet World based on its reputation and expected a professional design and planning experience. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet those expectations. My feedback is not directed toward the consultant, but toward the overall review and quality control process. After measurements were completed and approvals were signed, it was later discovered that one room had been completely missed from the approved scope, requiring revisions and pricing changes. Similarly, for the garage, while measurements and requirements were discussed and noted, the proposed cabinet units did not align with the measured space and covered less than required.

I saw Closet World on social media and I had them do our master closet. The designer was awesome. She explained everything and went over every detail to make sure that we understood what we were buying and our options. The installer came and got the closet done in a couple of hours. It was a good experience even though the closet was a little more expensive than we thought. We had 40% off, so we were surprised that we paid 5,000. Without the coupon, it would have been 10,000 and we definitely wouldn't have done it at that price. People need to make sure that Closet World is having a sale when they go through it, or else, it'd be pricey. But overall, we’re happy with the work. Closet World was easy and reliable.

I first heard about Closet World through an internet search, and the quality of their product was a deciding factor for me to go with them. The designer was excellent and did a great job. I had regular cabinets installed in my garage, so it was simple cabinetry. I just need them to open and close. The installation process was very quick and on time, and the installers helped me out quite a bit. But a couple of things were messed up on the installation. One of the metal clamps that holds up the shelving was jammed into the side. But in my mind, it’s the garage, not kitchen cabinets, so it wasn’t a huge deal to me. The end result was very good, and they work. I like them.

I was shopping around for a closet and I checked six quotes over the town. They were all very expensive and it wasn't a good customer service. I ended up with this local guy here in my city working for Closet World. His name was Dave and he came to my home to take measurements. He was a very sweet talker and he bought me into it.

Closet World's designer was very nice. When I told her that all I wanted was just doors, she was fine with that. Originally, I thought she thought that I wanted to redo the whole thing, but I just wanted the doors. The quality of work is okay. I like the type of work that was done upstairs better than the one downstairs.

Closet World's designer and installers were okay. But I had to have them redo a few things. What the designer put down and what they brought were two different things. They also had shelving that was smaller than what she called for, but I told them it was fine and to use what they had.

Closet World had a 50% off sale. And the sales rep was able to get me another close to 10% off. But even before the discount, it was a fair price. The designer came once and did a rough draft of everything and came back a second time before we finalized things to give me time to think about it. They were very open to any of my changes, and any additions that I needed. Everything was good.

We had Closet World do two small projects to check them out, and they did an amazing job. I really liked the designer. She had a wonderful, warm personality. She’s so focused on saving us money, which was great, and extremely meticulous. She did seem to take a long time, especially with the laundry room design. She was consulting with her manager and making sure that she got everything perfect, and she did. It's my favorite room in the house. It was a quick install but done very, very well. So, we were very happy.

I had a good experience with Closet World. They did a nice job for me. Way back, we had them do some work for us as well. This time, they did the cabinets for my garage. I told a gal who came out initially to measure what I had in mind and she put the numbers down. They ordered it and they came out and installed it in less than a day. It turned out perfectly.

My interaction with the designer at Closet World was perfect. The installation was perfect too. It was right on time, exactly what I wanted. Couldn't be happier. If we ever need a closet done again, we know who to call.

I'd used Closet World on a few other houses and I liked the service. I called them back when I wanted some closet extensions. They added to my closet system that they had already installed. The rep was very nice and straightforward, which I like. They didn't beat around the bush on what I wanted. It was very calming to deal with them. Though the product is a little pricey, I recommend Closet World the best I could.

Closet World was doing a sale. It was 50% off and free installation, and the offer sounded good. We went with them and the consultant was patient to listen to us. She proposed a lot of ideas, and she had pictures and a catalog. We pointed out sections that we liked for the master bedroom closet. The wifey's been watching all these Instagram influencers with these fancy closets. We wanted to create a closet that feels like you're in a store. After a lot of measurements and discussions, she drew it out on graphing paper and was spot-on. We were surprised. It was exactly what we were looking for in a line drawing and it turned out exactly what we imagined by the installer. It's architectural quality from the the consultant that came over for us. There was also so much versatility in terms of how we could design things because all those parts and pieces of designs have been done and those parts are available.

Closet world installed a closet door for me (in April 2026). The material is extremely fragile. Closet world charged me $2500 for replacing the closet door. The material given by closet world is extremely fragile and will break with a soft kick. It is a rip-off from Closet world. If you look up at Home depot or Lowe's the closet doors are available at ~$150-$500 with better material (thicker wood). I should have done a better job in researching and installing it myself. The previous closet door which I had was from Home depot and was stronger. I wanted it to be replaced with something lighter but not so fragile and not so light which was replaced by Closet world. Friendly advice - I would recommend to buy the closet doors from Home depot/Lowe's and install it DYI or have a handy man install it for you.

Closet World's rep was very nice. She came up with the design. We discussed out, moving this here and that there. She suggested doors, which I hadn't considered. It was an open discussion. Also, the installer was great. The installation was done quicker than expected. I love the closet. There's one area where I can put longer pieces, and the shelving units are much higher than my old shelving units. I’m very happy.

Closet World was easy to work with. We knew what we wanted. The designer did what we asked and gave us a workable design. My husband and I are very particular, and we have a good idea. We both do some design ourselves. We dislike it when someone comes in to tell us exactly what they think we need, and the designer did not do that. She just facilitated our requests and did a beautiful job. The installer was one guy, and he did a great job. The door was hanging straight when he left, but it's not hanging straight now. I plan to call today on that. Other than that, the prices are competitive. I'll recommend Closet World to our neighbors.

I'm redoing a house from 1935 and over the years, it had many piecemeal things done to the closet. We needed a full reset and my focus was organization. For a budget-conscious thing, where you just need a basic install, but you want it to be the best that it can be, Closet World hit the mark. I wanted basic because it's gonna be behind closed doors. So, I wanted a cheaper option, but still professionally measured. I got a couple ads saying Closet World was running 50% off install and free design quote. So, I went with them.

I had Closet World do hanging closets on one side. On the left side, it's for the shirts and the bottom is for pants. The right side is for longer hanging suits, and in the middle, there were some shelves there. So, it's basic. It's because it's a little bit more expensive than what I thought. The designer who came out explained everything to me. She did everything by hand. She was transparent on everything on the pricing and what could be done. So, she was nice. We sat down and negotiated. The guys that came over to install were fast. I think it was one or two guys that came. They were pretty fast and they did a good job.

We had our closet redone with Closet World, which I'd seen on an Instagram ad. It was, overall, an easy process. The installation took majority of the day. I like the closet and I'm satisfied. I would recommend Closet World to those looking for someone to redo their closet.

I was looking for somebody that could do a pantry and found Closet World. The planner was wonderful. I wish I've had her for every project that I've done. She was so easy and fast and made us up different ideas, and we picked one. In two weeks, it was done. However, I didn't like the installer. He was ignoring us. He kept leaving the door open and we kept telling him to close it. We have pets. They didn't go out but flies kept coming in. We had a bunch of flies in our house that day because it was warm. We also have a brand-new floor and he put his tools over the floor. My husband told him to put them on the island. Other than that, the installation looks nice. The product is good. There's a part of the wood that came out at the top, but my husband said the guy had already told him about that. It was a good price as well. We got 50% off. I would use Closet World again.
