Closet World Reviews

We use Closet World a lot, from our house in California during the 90s to our house in Vegas. Closet World previously did a complete office and I always show off when people come what a nice job they did. The newest one was they put closets in our garage. The guys were professional. It's a great job. That's why we keep on using them. We're very satisfied. I recommend them to friends, or else we wouldn't keep on using them.

Closet World had a Memorial Day special, and the designer was very pleasant. I had them install a closet from ceiling to floor, shelves, and some cabinets. The whole thing was great, and I definitely would recommend Closet World.

I needed a closet as my closet broke. I googled, and Closet World came out. I got an estimate from them and they were pretty fast and efficient. They did a good job. They installed drawers, shelves and a closet for my walk-in closet. It was only one guy and it took him long time to do it because he was by himself. I thought they were going to have three or four guys because it was a big walk-in closet. I felt bad for him because he was going up and down the stairs, taking all of the stuff up there. But he was very nice and polite. The price was a little higher than I thought though.

I liked that Closet World had an easy process and the fact that they can do it customized. The quality of their product seemed a little higher as well. The designer was friendly, professional, and on time. So, it was overall a good interaction and very straightforward. The installation was quick. It only took four hours for them to do it. It was just one technician who did the install. He was friendly and did a good job. The closet is a his and hers type style. So there are two shorter walls and one longer wall. It seems pretty solid and well-built. So, we're all happy with the quality.

I selected Closet World based on its reputation and expected a professional design and planning experience. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet those expectations. My feedback is not directed toward the consultant, but toward the overall review and quality control process. After measurements were completed and approvals were signed, it was later discovered that one room had been completely missed from the approved scope, requiring revisions and pricing changes. Similarly, for the garage, while measurements and requirements were discussed and noted, the proposed cabinet units did not align with the measured space and covered less than required.

I saw Closet World on social media and I had them do our master closet. The designer was awesome. She explained everything and went over every detail to make sure that we understood what we were buying and our options. The installer came and got the closet done in a couple of hours. It was a good experience even though the closet was a little more expensive than we thought. We had 40% off, so we were surprised that we paid 5,000. Without the coupon, it would have been 10,000 and we definitely wouldn't have done it at that price. People need to make sure that Closet World is having a sale when they go through it, or else, it'd be pricey. But overall, we’re happy with the work. Closet World was easy and reliable.

I first heard about Closet World through an internet search, and the quality of their product was a deciding factor for me to go with them. The designer was excellent and did a great job. I had regular cabinets installed in my garage, so it was simple cabinetry. I just need them to open and close. The installation process was very quick and on time, and the installers helped me out quite a bit. But a couple of things were messed up on the installation. One of the metal clamps that holds up the shelving was jammed into the side. But in my mind, it’s the garage, not kitchen cabinets, so it wasn’t a huge deal to me. The end result was very good, and they work. I like them.

Closet World's designer was very nice. When I told her that all I wanted was just doors, she was fine with that. Originally, I thought she thought that I wanted to redo the whole thing, but I just wanted the doors. The quality of work is okay. I like the type of work that was done upstairs better than the one downstairs.

Closet World's designer and installers were okay. But I had to have them redo a few things. What the designer put down and what they brought were two different things. They also had shelving that was smaller than what she called for, but I told them it was fine and to use what they had.

Closet World had a 50% off sale. And the sales rep was able to get me another close to 10% off. But even before the discount, it was a fair price. The designer came once and did a rough draft of everything and came back a second time before we finalized things to give me time to think about it. They were very open to any of my changes, and any additions that I needed. Everything was good.

We had Closet World do two small projects to check them out, and they did an amazing job. I really liked the designer. She had a wonderful, warm personality. She’s so focused on saving us money, which was great, and extremely meticulous. She did seem to take a long time, especially with the laundry room design. She was consulting with her manager and making sure that she got everything perfect, and she did. It's my favorite room in the house. It was a quick install but done very, very well. So, we were very happy.

I had a good experience with Closet World. They did a nice job for me. Way back, we had them do some work for us as well. This time, they did the cabinets for my garage. I told a gal who came out initially to measure what I had in mind and she put the numbers down. They ordered it and they came out and installed it in less than a day. It turned out perfectly.

My interaction with the designer at Closet World was perfect. The installation was perfect too. It was right on time, exactly what I wanted. Couldn't be happier. If we ever need a closet done again, we know who to call.

I'd used Closet World on a few other houses and I liked the service. I called them back when I wanted some closet extensions. They added to my closet system that they had already installed. The rep was very nice and straightforward, which I like. They didn't beat around the bush on what I wanted. It was very calming to deal with them. Though the product is a little pricey, I recommend Closet World the best I could.

Closet World was doing a sale. It was 50% off and free installation, and the offer sounded good. We went with them and the consultant was patient to listen to us. She proposed a lot of ideas, and she had pictures and a catalog. We pointed out sections that we liked for the master bedroom closet. The wifey's been watching all these Instagram influencers with these fancy closets. We wanted to create a closet that feels like you're in a store. After a lot of measurements and discussions, she drew it out on graphing paper and was spot-on. We were surprised. It was exactly what we were looking for in a line drawing and it turned out exactly what we imagined by the installer. It's architectural quality from the the consultant that came over for us. There was also so much versatility in terms of how we could design things because all those parts and pieces of designs have been done and those parts are available.

Closet world installed a closet door for me (in April 2026). The material is extremely fragile. Closet world charged me $2500 for replacing the closet door. The material given by closet world is extremely fragile and will break with a soft kick. It is a rip-off from Closet world. If you look up at Home depot or Lowe's the closet doors are available at ~$150-$500 with better material (thicker wood). I should have done a better job in researching and installing it myself. The previous closet door which I had was from Home depot and was stronger. I wanted it to be replaced with something lighter but not so fragile and not so light which was replaced by Closet world. Friendly advice - I would recommend to buy the closet doors from Home depot/Lowe's and install it DYI or have a handy man install it for you.

Closet World's rep was very nice. She came up with the design. We discussed out, moving this here and that there. She suggested doors, which I hadn't considered. It was an open discussion. Also, the installer was great. The installation was done quicker than expected. I love the closet. There's one area where I can put longer pieces, and the shelving units are much higher than my old shelving units. I’m very happy.

Closet World was easy to work with. We knew what we wanted. The designer did what we asked and gave us a workable design. My husband and I are very particular, and we have a good idea. We both do some design ourselves. We dislike it when someone comes in to tell us exactly what they think we need, and the designer did not do that. She just facilitated our requests and did a beautiful job. The installer was one guy, and he did a great job. The door was hanging straight when he left, but it's not hanging straight now. I plan to call today on that. Other than that, the prices are competitive. I'll recommend Closet World to our neighbors.

I'm redoing a house from 1935 and over the years, it had many piecemeal things done to the closet. We needed a full reset and my focus was organization. For a budget-conscious thing, where you just need a basic install, but you want it to be the best that it can be, Closet World hit the mark. I wanted basic because it's gonna be behind closed doors. So, I wanted a cheaper option, but still professionally measured. I got a couple ads saying Closet World was running 50% off install and free design quote. So, I went with them.

I had Closet World do hanging closets on one side. On the left side, it's for the shirts and the bottom is for pants. The right side is for longer hanging suits, and in the middle, there were some shelves there. So, it's basic. It's because it's a little bit more expensive than what I thought. The designer who came out explained everything to me. She did everything by hand. She was transparent on everything on the pricing and what could be done. So, she was nice. We sat down and negotiated. The guys that came over to install were fast. I think it was one or two guys that came. They were pretty fast and they did a good job.

We had our closet redone with Closet World, which I'd seen on an Instagram ad. It was, overall, an easy process. The installation took majority of the day. I like the closet and I'm satisfied. I would recommend Closet World to those looking for someone to redo their closet.

I was looking for somebody that could do a pantry and found Closet World. The planner was wonderful. I wish I've had her for every project that I've done. She was so easy and fast and made us up different ideas, and we picked one. In two weeks, it was done. However, I didn't like the installer. He was ignoring us. He kept leaving the door open and we kept telling him to close it. We have pets. They didn't go out but flies kept coming in. We had a bunch of flies in our house that day because it was warm. We also have a brand-new floor and he put his tools over the floor. My husband told him to put them on the island. Other than that, the installation looks nice. The product is good. There's a part of the wood that came out at the top, but my husband said the guy had already told him about that. It was a good price as well. We got 50% off. I would use Closet World again.

My neighbor had used Closet World and told me they're good. I looked at their pricing online and it was something I could afford. I was super happy with the designer, Tracy, and William, the installer. Tracy was really cool as well. The installation in the master closet is nice. I love it. I'm telling all my friends and family about it. I want to just hang out in there. It makes me so happy. The guy who lived here before me stopped by recently, and he was in awe. It looks great to him as well. I wish I would have done it years ago but I didn't have the money. The price ended up being exactly what I thought it is with my research. The cost has risen but they gave me a discount so it was good.

I've used Closet World twice, and they've been great. The first time was closets. The second time was just more storage. They did shelving, dressers and all kinds of cabinets. My experience with them was 5-star. They did great.

Closet World did my original installation, so I had them come out and do repairs. They worked on a closet and cabinets for my bedroom, like a home office closet. I worked with the part of the company that does the repair job and the guys were very professional. They were on time. They came out and fixed my closet, which is still in good working condition. So they met expectations. Closet World is an affordable company that has good customer service. They try to be friendly and if something they install didn't pan out, then you can pay a small service fee and they can come out and fix it.

The person from Closet World who came out to install the closet would come from an hour and a half away. I had to arrange for somebody to be at my house, because I work full time. I had the basic line stuff for my closet - the white particle board, and the silver, oblong-shaped rods. There were few upgrades. When the design didn't work, he had to leave because he couldn't do anything about it. I waited for a supervisor to contact me to redesign, except it wasn't in person. It was all over email, and it wasn't very clear what was being done.

I was looking to have garage cabinets put in and I went through home improvement magazines and pulled ads from a few companies that did garage closets. I called three of them for quotes and I was able to schedule my appointment with Closet World right away. I did it online and somebody called me back and confirmed. They came out according to my schedule right away too. The other companies took two to three weeks to get a booking, and I couldn’t even get someone on the phone for a few days. It's always an issue for companies, especially when they do any internet marketing, and they aren't available and don't get back to you right away when you fill out a form. But Closet World did, and so they got the business.

I used Closet World many years ago and they did a great job. This time, I had four cupboards in my garage done. The gal who came out was good and everything turned out great, too, with the installation. The only thing is, the installers walked off with my broom. But that might have been accidental and it's no big deal.

Closet World did a previous house that I owned. The price was fair, so I had them do a few garage cabinets. There was a hitch with the Closet World representative. We sat down and agreed on a price. I told her everything that we were going to do and they started on time like they were supposed to, but they should've just measured. They started the cabinets and then I had to interact with somebody over at the company to get them to come out because the installer said she measured wrongly. They were supposed to be to a certain line like an edge or a wall, and they came up 18 inches short.

Closet World is easy to work with. The process was explained to me. That is what they did and they're professionals. I got a couple of bids and Closet World's was the best price. It was very close to the other one. But this gal had come out first, so I thought, over $30, I'm gonna stay with her. There was one thing that the other company designed a different way, and I asked the gal if we could do it the same way because it made more sense to have a shelf in a different area. So, I used the design from the other company.

Closet World is a fabulous company. I called a couple of other places and some of them are really unprofessional, they can't even compare to Closet World. You just have to know how to be professional and Closet World knows how to hire professional people. Also, they've been doing it too long. I decided I wanted to get a Murphy bed so, I started looking into it and I had a lot of print screens of different places. But I got sidetracked and I didn't do it. Then, when I was ready to shop again, I went back to all the things that I made a print screen on. I went through all of those people and compared them to Closet World. They were the best one, so went with them. The hook is the person you initially speak with. It's about their attitude and their salesmanship. Everybody I talked to at Closet World was really professional and that was why I did business with them.

DO NOT WASTE your money here. We had a simple closet installation which was done poorly. The drawers don’t close (see attached pictures). The closet walls were also damaged outside the boundary of where the closet was installed. It has taken them 2 attempts to come evaluate for repairs. They only can come in the AM during the weekdays. So we have to take time off from work to sit waiting for them. After the second attempt, We were promised to be the first service so they would be on time. 1.5 hr later and still no sign of them!

There seems to be a lot of scheme and play with the sales department with Closet World and there is no follow-through or ownership after you make your payment. My designer showed me their miniature model during the design consultation and told me that all the drawer are self-closing. I confirmed with her that all drawers are self-closing when we agree to the contract. However, the drawers installed are not self-closing and quite wobbly. Now the designer is ghosting me when I reached out to her about the issue and installation department says that it is an upgrade to get self-closing drawers. The installation department says that the contract didn't specify self-closing drawers. I didn't know they had to be specified since I was not made aware of other types of drawers.

We had a walk-in, organizational set up closet installed by Closet World. The designer was very knowledgeable, and she assisted us in making the right decisions on how to set the closet up properly. Also, the young installer was right on schedule and did a very nice job. He was very clean and orderly. We had a couple of little issues with trying to nail down a time to get an actual date to get the closet installed. There was something with the financing. It was some weird stuff. That was on Wells Fargo. But once everything was done and the date was settled on, we were very pleased.

The salesman was very on point and drew everything out to scale. He spent time along those lines. One guy did the work of two people and worked with me on the date that I needed and did not cancel, even though Closet World normally has two people doing it. Plus, my bedroom was upstairs and all the work got done correctly, and it looks fantastic. It was a very positive experience and it was worth it. I was very happy with Closet World.

We used Closet World a couple years ago on another house we had. Recently, I got shelves and six drawers. It was a good experience all the way around. The lady who came to give us a quote was very pleasant. Also, the installers were in and out. They were very quick and cleaned up after themselves. I'd use them again. They were great to work with.

Y'all please do not waste your money. I wish I had done more research before booking with these people. It’s been months and I don’t have my money or my closet installed. You cannot get anyone on the phone. They don’t respond to emails. After calling dozens of times I was told that my refund would be on the way and I would receive in 7-10 business days. Here we are 21 days later and nothing and of course I can’t get anyone on the phone again. This has been the worse consumer experience of my life. Save yourself the headache.

Closet World was able to customize the closet to the area. I had a room that serves as a mud room and a dressing room kind of idea, so they were able to customize it to fit my needs in the space. They got there, found out there was one issue with one measurement, so they did what they could. They had to remake a set of doors. They came back a week later, installed those doors. It was all easy peasy, uneventful, so that's a good thing. You can get things that are less expensive, but that I like the quality of the materials better than IKEA. IKEA is the only other place I looked. And there are more options for finishes. I was able to get more of the look that I wanted than from IKEA.

Closet World was the first company that could come out and do what I needed done. So, I hired them to do a small job for me. I was part of the process and it was pretty simple. They came out and did it on the same day. Plus, they left the area nicer than they found it. So far, the quality of their work is so good and the price was excellent. All in all, working with them was hassle-free.

We had an estimate in 2019, right before COVID, but we didn't buy the closet then. We had a different person come back and they remapped the closet out. The price definitely went a lot higher, but we decided to go with Closet World. They knocked off 100 bucks, but still, the price was double even though the estimate was almost exactly the same. The guy that installed the closet was A+ quality. He was nice and had no nonsense. He wanted to get the job done. He was a hard worker, and he stayed in there the whole time. He’s the best installer one could ever ask for.
