Closet World was easy to work with. I had a wall unit installed in the bedroom. I called, they came out. The rep came out, measured, and asked what I needed and wanted. I showed her what I had and why it didn't work. She showed me what could work and the drawings like I wish they did it. I wish they did a digital design but they don't. I would love to have been able to see it digitally. I said yes, and she went away.
I didn't call Closet World to come back for over a year, and they came back and did it. They needed to come and fix a few things. It was 2 weeks later they fixed those, and it was done. They were was very responsive. The installer guy was very polite. The project manager kept calling me to keep me updated on what was going on and how they would fix things. Everybody makes mistakes, and they fixed them right away. The product is very expensive, but I love it. Closet World made a 1970s house work. If you can afford it, go ahead and do it.

I've been looking into fixing my closet, and I ran into Closet World on Instagram, and I called them. I liked the designer. She was top quality and I knew I had to give her my business. She was a very nice and professional young lady. She designed the closet and did a great job. The installer was fast and efficient. But I wish Closet World told me that it’s probably more recommended that you get someone in there to do the demo instead of them. Because when they do, it’s great. But when the closet was installed, there was this part that was not acceptable. I lost about 3 inches of space that I was supposed to get, and the installer explained that was gonna happen since they had to take out one panel. I had to get someone in to patch it up and paint it for me. So, it was a disappointment.
I thought I was gonna get a better quality edging, but I didn't. But then again, it is a small closet, and I don't want the installers coming back and redoing anything, because I already put everything back in. But other than that, everything was good. If they had told me just to give them a perfect blank wall, I would have been happy. Closet World needs to know more about older homes and what could be behind the walls, or what to expect if they take off the paneling. It’s probably best to have someone else remove it so they can patch and paint it properly. I would like Closet World to give me another estimate for another project, but I'm gonna look at other vendors as well. If people are interested, they should get the estimate first and fix anything that needs to be fixed.

I was a Closet World client in 2008, and this time, my project was a home office with a Murphy bed. My experience with the designer was fine, except what she wrote as the design was not what I got. I was supposed to have deco fronts. On my receipt, it says that I have that, so what did I pay for if I don't have that? Closet World was running a promotion and I told the designer specifically this is my favorite room in the house, so I do not want the fronts of my cabinets to look like something that belongs in the garage, and that's what I got. It looks like the garage. The designer kept saying she likes it, but what do I care what she likes? She didn't pay what I paid. It's very awful and I need to address this with Closet World. They've made mistakes and I need some money back.
I spent $15,000 with three projects of Closet World and it seemed like I had to fight my way through all of it. It's not right, and I've been very sick. I can't even leave the house right now. I also have to go take care of my building, so I have to sit here and wait. It's too stressful. I paid all this money and then this happened. It's very disappointing. The stress that Closet World caused me over this has created a flare up with my Crohn's disease and I don't think that's necessary. I won't recommend Closet World to my neighbors or my friends. Never.

Closet World would do what I needed to have done. They are a good company. The product they brought is solid. I bought it because it would be a neat thing to have in this house when I sell it. However, unless I paint that back wall, it will not be a neat thing to have. The whole picture was different in my head as far as the whole thing. They did a unit inside my pantry, which is in a closet. And it was a two-sided unit. The rep was good, but I should have asked more questions. I had it in my mind that it would be built a certain way. However, it was built a little differently, which meant I needed to get some painting done, which she said she mentioned that. She mentioned that there would not be a backboard on it, but it didn't click.
I had her out twice because after she left the first time, I got to thinking, “This isn't gonna work there. And that's not gonna work there.” Other people need to ask questions more than I did. I didn't wanna be that way. That's why I had her come back a second time. I told her the main thing is everything gets stacked up and I can't see what I have in my pantry, but I ended up buying stuff I don't need. The other part was stuff at the bottom that I can't get down to reach. I needed to have pullouts. We didn't put those in there initially, so I had her come back because I realized I screwed up. I need to open my mouth and let them know that that's not what I want or that is what I want. I did this time, except it was not enough.
We went over the things I felt I needed. She was able to change the plan. That was great. But I still didn't realize that she wouldn’t put a backboard on. Even the fellow who came to do the work showed me. He was nice and very easy to work with. I asked him some questions. We saw where the painting needed to be done. He mentioned that they don't do the painting. But he kept building the unit even though there were obvious places that needed to be painted. It would be a lot harder to paint it once all the boards were in. When I realized I would have paint, he said it would just be touch-up painting, but that still would have meant having to mark off stuff.

Closet World has advertisements all over the world and I only knew about them at the time. The installer was quite fast. He put some bars up and shelves in the master bedroom. Closet World is good, it’s just expensive. It cost me over $2,000. They should work out something with their price because it only took the guy two hours to do this. Closet World came up with these new additional promotional deals, and they didn’t discuss all of that. I have good credit, so qualifying for the Closet World card wasn’t a problem. But overall, I spent about $7,000. It was out of my budget, but I needed to get organized.

I had Closet World do my man cave and my garage. The salesman came out and he laid the plan out beautifully. I was 100% happy with what those guys did, all the way from the salesman to the installation. The cost was also fair for what I got. I got an excellent product, and you get what you pay for in this world.

The first time I used Closet World, I had a closet with two mirror doors put in. In the most recent one, I had a linen closet turned into another linen closet with drawers and a cabinet. My interaction with the designer was very positive but there was a little hiccup. What she drew up looked good, but it was not done correctly at all by the time it was installed. And it wasn't the installer, it was the designer. She was very nice but she did not consider everything that she needed to take into account. I called her about it but I didn’t hear a word from her. The installer did what she wrote down. It just didn't work out. Then I talked to somebody who called me back, and the installer came out and fixed it. He was amazing. He made changes to the design, and it looks great now.
My only complaint with Closet World is that their people are very friendly, interactive and eager, until you have a problem. Then I couldn't get anyone to talk to me. They were calling every day and would be there the next day to sell their products. But when I called, they weren't as responsive. It seemed like I was bothering them by having a problem. Also, the closets were expensive.

Social media introduced me to Closet World where it showed pictures of different things and closets. I needed new closets, so I called them. My designer was Jeanette, and she was very thorough. Usually, I expect people who come in to be in a rush. They take some measurements and they're on their way. But Jeanette took the time and showed me different products. Then, the installation went fine, but there was a little hiccup. I was scheduled for one day and no one called to tell me that the date was canceled. I called at the end of the day and they said, it had been put on hold and they didn't know why. So, I wasn't happy with that.
When I rescheduled, I had to wait another month before they could come out and do it. I also had to wait an additional day because the installer was sick. And I didn't like the fact that they didn't tell me that they were taking everything out of the closet. Other than that, when the installer came out, he was very polite. He did the work and he left a message that if I had any problem to contact him directly. So far, I'm happy with my new closets. It looks great and I like the sturdiness of the top and bottom tracking doors. I was also pleased with the designer and I plan to use Closet World again in the future.

The Closet World designer I worked with was very professional. When she first started out, she explained everything. She was very detailed in her explanation, exactly what the process would be, and things of that nature. Now, she made a few mistakes, but that was later on, after we had already closed the deal. She came back a couple of days later to tell me that the design I had chosen didn't come with rounded edges. It came with sharp edges. I asked the question. “Since you said it has sharp edges, but I want it round, what's the cost difference?” She told me the cost. I said we'd just stick with the sharp.
The second part is that she came back again because I didn't sign the original contract. I signed the initial, which is something that she should have checked before she left, but she didn't. Which was fine, because she did an excellent job. And that's why they really get pissed off about the two things that had to be corrected. They initially told me that they would be on the 12th, but then all sudden, since I didn't sign the contract, they changed the date to the 30th. Now I had to get out of work again to go on that date.
The installation was one day. The guys arrived about 10 o'clock. It was two gentlemen, one was an older gentleman. The other one was his helper. I didn't like the point that he smoked when he was in the garage, because I don't smoke whatsoever, and I don't allow it in my house. But he was in the garage and he was cutting wood. Then all of a sudden, the machine he’s using to cut the wood with the paneling died. He had to get another one from somewhere else. The other guy went to get another saw machine from somewhere.
He cut the parts on my walls. He cut them too long, because, come to find out, when she made the measurements, she measured 26 when it was actually 24. He just said, “We may not be able to put this in.” But he was able to work through it and do the cuts that he needed to do. But he still left a chunk out of my baseboards. I got to fill that now. The drawers for that side were too long. They were 26 inches when they should have been 24 inches. I had to wait a couple of days for the new ones to be made and returned to me.
I was already pissed off about that, but the guys came in and they were professional. I didn't like the smoking part and the equipment that didn't work. I didn't like that he called his manager, his boss, and told him that he was having difficulty. His boss told him to call such and such. He said, “We'll have to try to get something out there.” I figured they should have checked their equipment before they came to do the job. But both gentlemen were talking and said, “We always have problems with this table saw.” If you have problems with the table saw, and you told your boss you have problems with the table saw, that should have been handled before you went out on the job.
The final product overall looked nice. However, the drawers that they brought, they stick. It's not a smooth open and close. Now I have to find a way to make sure these drawers open smoothly. I think I have to sand down a little bit to make these drawers open and close smoothly. The supervisor got a hold of me while the workers were there and he apologized and told me that they just have to get the drawers out to me cause I'm not gonna take another day off. They're a good organization, but you need to be specific in what you expect, and I wasn't specific. And as much as I've heard about them on YouTube and their commercials, I figured they're a professional company. They could be a professional company, but they could bring in people who are not as professional as they want their company to be.

Closet World was having a promotion and I contacted them to verify that that was accurate. I scheduled an appointment and someone came out and did the measurements. The girl drew up what I was interested in and gave me a quote. The girl was very friendly, knowledgeable and put me at ease with all the questions that I had. The installation went very smoothly. I had a closet completely done with new hanging racks and a shelving unit, and it was a little pricey but I got a discount.

My experience with Closet World went very well. They broke apart, but they got it back here before I needed it. I expected real wood, not engineered wood. But it seems to be pretty sturdy. It looks nice, too. They did very well.

We had wire-mesh shelving and various little shoe racks and things on the floor. At the moment I started looking for redoing our closet, Closet World was having a big sale, 50% off, and free installation. They also had decent ratings from Better Business, so we decided to hire them. A young lady who came to our house and she was very collaborative and polite. She came up with a design that I wanted a few modifications on and we worked that out. So, I was really happy with her. We redid a small walk-in closet with custom built shelves and hanging racks. I like the little niches that hold T-shirts at just the right size, and the design uses our space a lot better.

I've been using Closet World for years for projects in my house, and I've had good experiences with them. If things were not totally right the way we want them, they've always come back out and satisfied us, having things the way we would like them. Closet World always meets my expectations and that's why I continue to use them as a repeat customer. I've known the designer, Trudy, for years. She's outstanding. Recently, I had a garage shelving and a closet door in my theater room installed, and the guys were efficient.

I Googled different closet organization systems and I interviewed and got estimates from several different companies. We hired Closet World for our $16,000 project involving all the closets in our brand-new house, and I really liked the gal that designed our project and that we worked with. We chose her over anything else. We really liked her. On the other hand, I'm not as fond with the installation process. We were told the baseboards needed to be removed in the closet, where the built-ins would go. I was under the impression that they were just going to be cut out, and then the places where they would go, there would be baseboards in between, but that wasn't the case.
The installer proceeded to take the baseboards out instead of just cutting them out from the part where the built-ins would need to go. It completely looked horrible. I had to pay somebody to come in and reinstall new baseboards. Besides that, we have drawers, which I really like. I like that it was customizable and we were able to select what size drawers we wanted. One of the other issues with the installation is I paid extra for the handles that we have on our cabinets to be installed. They left the project without doing that. So the two-day installation was really three days. They had to come back and put the handles on.

We selected frameless mirror wardrobe in Sept. of 2023 from Closet World location in Whittier, CA. Wardrobe got install in Nov. 2023, it’s been exactly 26 months & one side door mirror is loose, moves side to side, rattling and afraid it will fall off (afraid)!! Company only giving one year warranty, we do not recommend to get this product from Closet World. If you do then ask for at least 5 yrs warranty and stand behind their product! Not a happy customer after spending $1700!

The designer assigned to us had only been with the company a short time, and unfortunately, the designs were inaccurate and poorly executed. It was incredibly disappointing to invest so much money and not receive the level of professionalism and expertise we were promised.
To make matters worse, the original installation began failing, and we had to schedule repairs. Even then, appointments were rescheduled three times, adding even more inconvenience. Months later, the company contacted us to ask about doing additional work. Given our experience, that was not something we would ever consider. I would not recommend Closet World to family or friends, and I would not use their services again. Overall, this company was not worth the money or the stress involved.

Closet World did a good job. They were patient and very innovative as well. The rep did a good job. The guy installation was great as well. He was so good the first time that I had to request for him again to do the second. They did a closet space outside of my regular closet. They did some cupboards outside of my closet. The whole idea is to be able to use it for my clothes and other stuff. I like the fact that it doesn't take up a lot of space. The frames are pretty thin. I have way more space now. It's durable. It looks like the wood is also water resistant.

Our rep, Amal, was excellent. She came out, measured and matched the previous cabinets that we had and the installation went very easily. There wasn't a whole lot of time in between. We didn't have to wait eight weeks. It was only about a week or two. The install guys were clean and very courteous. They were on time and they did a good job for the 3 hours that it took them to complete the installation. We're previous customers of Closet World's and this time has been a good experience as well.

We were doing something in our garage and we liked Closet World's pricing. We went with them and our experience was great. They were very efficient, starting from the designer that came and talked to us and figured out what we needed. The installation was perfect. They were very professional. They kept everything tidy while they were working. They also cleaned up everything when they were done. They knew what they were doing and everything was put in there well. The quality is good for the price.

I saw a Closet World ad that there was a discount of 40%. I reached out to them and the rep who came out was great. She had options for me. She took serious measurements and was not wasting my time. They did a closet in the garage and the quality of the work they did is good.

I saw online and saw who was having the best deals. I looked at three companies and chose Closet World/ The designer was a very nice woman, and she did a great job. She was easy tow rok with and made good follow-up. Two gentlemen were here for half a day for the installation, and I gave them a nice tip for the work they did. Everything works perfectly. Closet World did a reasonable job at a reasonable price. Everyone’s experience can be different, so people should research several companies and include Closet World as one of the options to consider.

Closet World installed a bedroom closet, and the installation was good. Customer service was excellent as well. I liked the designer as well as the product I got. The pricing could be better though. Material price is high now. But we are happy with the product.

I knew about Closet World from friends a long time ago, who got some work done. They did a really good job there. I decided to call them, and my experience with their designer was good. The designer was very professional, very clean about the areas that he worked on. Just great customer service from the installers as well. They built a desk for me and an office storage. Then they filled in a closet area that was open. They built the whole closet in, so I can hang stuff up. Then they made a whole other three different closets for more storage, for shoes. We also had a new baby on the way. So, we turned one of our closets into a baby closet. The work was good. It was done professionally. They did really well. They knew what they were doing. The guy who was here was very professional, and he told me he loved doing what he does. So, when you have somebody who loves what he does, he's always going to do a great job. My experience was good.

The designer was great. She cared and listened to my needs. The installer was quick and knew exactly what he was doing. I had a giant, long pole, about 16 feet. I had a lot of airspace, and now I have drawers and cabinets. It's great. I love it.

We have a small house, so we tried to make better use of space in one of our bedrooms. We had a Murphy bed installed and I chose Closet World for the project because the designer was very good. She was very thorough and professional. Installation was a good eight hours and the Murphy bed was of great quality. People always have a vision in their mind what a project is gonna look like, and when Closet World came and did the install, it was just as nice if not nicer than I thought it was gonna be. Don't do it. Find an independent co. They own all the big ones. Customer service is rude and they tie your money up if you are not happy with your service. Never again. Run...they said you only have 3 days to cancel from the time you design. When something is wrong they said they will keep your deposit if you cancel and charge a 10% fee to reschedule. Horrible company.

I liked what Closet World's design was and their advertisement. They were much more reasonable in their prices as well. I called somebody out to see what it'd be like to fix the closet up and Delphine came out. She was great. She sat down and took the time to explain everything to us including our options before she even looked at the closet. After the short conversation there, I showed her the closet. She looked it over and she said she had a few ideas. She took the time to draw up the ideas with all the measurements and showed it to us. I had to make a few changes which she did. She liked it and went ahead with the program.
The installer showed up on time. He checked out the closet, looked over the measurements then started installing it. He was here a few hours and did a great job. It's a long closet - about four feet wide and less than 20 feet long. What was in there before was the old-style metal rods with the grills as shelves. It had been there since 1992 and it looked good back then, but it was all outdated. I needed a whole new design for the closet to give us more room. I ordered the closet from Closet World and didn't have to wait more than a week and a half to get it done.

We liked the salesperson that came out, the way Closet World did the pricing, and the way they worked on everything and how they tried to make sure we were getting what we wanted. The designer was wonderful. She listens to what you have in mind then she tells you if it'll work. You can see things in your mind that, in the real world, don't happen, but she came up with a couple of ideas and suggestions. She worked with us.
They did a great job on our most recent installation. It's a black Murphy bed setup, and it's gorgeous. We have another installation coming on the 28th, which is a build out of another closet. We really love the designer and the quality of work, and we recently told a friend of our granddaughter's about them. She bought a new condo and has to have her closet built out. We immediately gave her all the information and who to text.

Closet World is a well-known company. They have advertisements everywhere, and I knew they would do a good job. Their designer who came out was great. She came up with the design, and then I changed it, and so she redid it, and it all worked. What I had was builder grade that was put in this house when they built it 20-some years ago. Now, it's all organized.
My only complaint was the designer told me I ought to have the wall painted because there are no back on the closets, but she didn't tell me that that was a necessity. There was no way that I was gonna put anything in that closet without having it painted. So, I wish I would have known more before they came out to install it because I would've had it painted before they put it in. The installers were really good. They followed up. They were here when they said they would be. A guy had to come back. It was pouring rain, and he was here at 8 o'clock like he said he would. Overall, everything's neat, and I got rid of a lot of stuff that was in that closet.

I felt that the designer of Closet World could have given me more ideas. Most of the work was measuring and just putting in rods and shelves. But the installation was great. For some reason, they didn't have the sliders on the order. But the installer did everything he could on the first day. He came back first thing the next day and put the sliders in that he didn't have on his truck.

My experience with the designer, Danielle, was exceptional due to her attention to detail and friendly demeanor. The installer was also good. He was on time, attentive, answered all my questions and he was a pleasant guy. I just had a plain wall and they built me a closet from wall to wall. I was going to get my main closet done, and I did a deposit. But then we decided to move. And I have a third room that's advertised as a den. And I want to make it a bedroom so we could sell the house for more. So we put in a combination closet/desk. So, there's a desk in the middle and a closet on each side.
The first Closet World designer who came out was crazy. She was very nice at first. But then she was telling me, she walks her dog and men try to pick up on her. She’s like a 50-year-old woman and just average-looking. She said, “They think I’m so beautiful.” It just got really bizarre. I also gave her a check to pay but called her and told her that I’d rather put it on a credit card. She said she’d return the check. It’s been a year and she has not returned the check. I’ve called the store too and said, “Could you tell her to return the check?” They’ve never done anything.
Then they sent out another designer and she was wonderful and completed what I wanted. Everything was fine with the work. They did a nice job with the main closet, it has nice deep drawers and a desk. The finishing experience was fine.

Closet World did a wonderful job. The designer was great. We had her come out twice. We ended up redoing the garage and then we also did the cabinets that were in a hall. She was friendly and knew exactly what we wanted. She had all the information. I also had great communication with the installers. There was no language barrier. The quality of the work was really good. They also cleaned up nicely. I realized I wanted more shelves put in and they said, "No problem.” They came back out and put them in. I’d recommend Closet World to everybody.

Quality of wood is really poor, we’ve had to service and even then things keep breaking and every time the call to the service department is painful. Not that there are a lot of better options, however considering how much the cost of one system. If I want to buy cheap and temporary, I would go Ikea. I would not invest in Closet World.

We wanted to do our whole closet system in our master bedroom and decided that we were going to do IKEA, but the material was crap. So we went with Closet World because we decided if we were to pay the similar price, we might as well have something that has a guarantee that if it breaks or something happens, they can come by and try to fix it.
The designer was really sweet and very patient. She was able to do it, even though our kids were freaking out and they needed our time. It was hard for her, but she was great. She went over all the questions that we had and the design and made sure everything was measured properly. She was as quick as she could be, thorough and not pushy at all. We couldn't have asked for a better person. She was a breath of fresh air and just worked with us.
The installation was easy. We just told the installer where to go and where to install it. He was to himself, quiet, got things done, cleaned, did the job and out of there. Everything was awesome.
The payment stuff is easy, too. I'm glad we had the 18 months where we could pay it off. There's no rush. So, it's nice to not have any trouble. And because they did well, we're going to eventually buy a whole wall office area hopefully next year when things are in a better place financially. I've told a lot of people about them because we were very satisfied with the salesperson and the work. It was good. I didn't know why we didn't do it sooner.

A couple of guys came out and did the closets. They were quiet, worked hard and did a great job. The quality of the work was amazing. I love it. My daughter used Closet World at her home, and she recommended them, so I got a bid from them. In total, I got three bids, and Closet World was a bit on the higher end, but you get what you pay for. I went forward with my project and the designer was fabulous. She came out, spent two and a half hours here, and designed the project on paper. She didn't high-pressure or upsell me. In fact, she told me that I didn't have to buy one particular item through them. I could get it cheaper somewhere else for my slat wall.
I had our whole garage done, so the installers were here about four and a half hours. They built everything in here, and then they installed them. It took a while, but I'm beyond pleased and I'm getting ready to do another project with them. The quality is stellar. I love the new system and I've gotten so many compliments on it. It's very high quality. The finishes and the shelves themselves are not gonna give way. I had an older system in the garage that we gutted and took down. This is by far, light years, a huge quality difference. This will last me for the life of my home.
I highly recommend Closet World. I've already told everybody that's looked at my garage project. All my friends and family know and all are now looking into it as well. Closet World is not the cheapest, but if customers time it with the company's incentives where they do the free installation and then they give customers a discounted price, that's the way to go. They do that twice or three times a year.

I did my research between Closet World and California Closets and I thought that Closet World had the better price with the same type of quality. The designer they sent was very good and we really liked him a lot. He showed us all the different examples, gave us all the different prices, and explained the process very well. I highly recommend him.
The installation also went fine. We had a later installation date and then I had some time that was freed up on my schedule. I called and they were able to get me in even earlier. What they did was beautiful. They did a great job. The installers came in and put everything in the right spot and everything came as ordered. It was a seamless process on my end.

We had three closets done with Closet World after a recommendation from my handyman. I liked the designer. She was very helpful. I had some questions after she left, and she got back to me as soon as she was available without a problem. A guy came out to install and was there all day. Everything looks really nice. The designer from Closet World was fabulous. When she was done with her design, I was hooked. I have a shoe fascination, and I was trying to figure out how I could put my shoes in my closet ‘cause my shoes are all in boxes and my closet was crammed full. She designed a whole wall of shelves where my shoes would sit perfectly. Then she designed the other walls to where I had closet space for dresses and suits and everything else I wanted organized. And then she did the other side to where it gave me boxes and cubes and spaces for everything.
Installation was quick. He left it immaculate, no dirt, no grime. He cleaned everything up and it was perfect. When it was all done, everything was perfect, and I had extra room, so I was very shocked. The final product is amazing, I'm so impressed. And the price is even more impressive.

We're pretty happy with Closet World. Everything went really smooth with the designer. It's a bedroom closet for clothes. Installation was good and the guys were really nice. We had a couple pieces that didn't fit well. The front for one of the drawer hadn't come in yet when they came to install, so they ended up coming back out total of three times. But they made it right. They were gracious with us and explained what was going on.

Closet World is quick and efficient. The sales guy was attentive, and he came up with a quote. However, he did show me some handles. And when the product came, the handles of the drawers were different from what he showed us and led me to believe was standard. So, I have reached out to Closet World, and I'm hoping the situation will get resolved soon.
We had a young man come out to install and he was very pleasant and professional, and he did a good job. Apart from the drawer handles which I'm not pleased with, the rest went really well. It was a positive experience.

I liked both of the women that came out from Closet World. There was just something about Maria that made me wanna go with her. There were a couple of times she didn't get back to me immediately. But all in all, she came through every single time so she was good.
David was the one who installed the actual cabinets and he was great. I had ordered closet doors, but I can't have that installed until the floor goes in. So they have to come back and install the closet doors. The guy who came was late and made a lot of mess. I just had concrete poured behind my house and that's where he chose to set up the wood trimming. I had to clean up the sawdust ‘cause I didn’t want it setting on the cement. He also missed putting the middle screw in on the closet floor and scratched another screw area when he was hammering it down, so it’s got a little dent. It's minor, but it's still there. But all in all, I’m really impressed with their product.

Initially, Closet World's sales consultant was a very nice woman. She appeared to be very knowledgeable and professional. However, in measuring my closet and noting my wishes, she did not get my order correctly. Upon the closet's materials being built and then delivered to my home, I discovered that she eliminated the backing for the closet, and then there was no pricing for that.
The installation manager, Brian, corrected the problem for me, but there was still a delay in the closet being installed and it still cost me more money even though the installation manager gave me a discount on the cost. That mishap also caused me headache. Upon talking to the sales consultant about it, she said that she had went over those things with me when in fact, I know that she didn't. There are two different closet options that Closet World offered and the sales consultant should have shown pictures of those things and maybe have the client initial which closet they actually want to avoid mistakes like that in the future.

I looked at all the designs of Closet World and they’re pretty good. Another plus is, they have warranty for their products. I had a wall closet installed. It's from the bottom to the top and it has four compartments and three and a half drawers.
The designer was very good and professional. She even gave me some ideas. She would draw something to let me see or give some opinion and what is the good and the bad so I can choose. The installation was good and efficient. It took less than four hours. The installers cleaned up after themselves too. I might need more installation. If Closet World will still have a little bit of reduction, then I might consider getting one or two more wall closets.

I wanted a new closet and heard about Closet World on Instagram. The reviews looked good, and their presentation was so organized. Their guy came out and he looked at the room. We talked about exactly what I wanted, including the colors, and we went over the material. I showed him specifically what I needed to be in the closet 'cause I'm a real estate agent, so I needed my open house signs in there. The whole thing was really built around that. The guy measured everything and gave me good advice on doing the doors and the shelves. It was very streamlined, and the two guys that came to build everything and do the installation were great. It was so fast. It was raining that day, too. I had 9-foot closet built, and the cost wasn't even that expensive. I paid a total of 2,200 in installments. I did a deposit first, then they did half and then the other half. Closet World's customer service was great as well. There were follow-ups.

I had a horrible experience with Closet World. This company installs low quality products. The installer took hours longer than he estimated to complete the job. The work was shoddy and looked awful. He left a mess. When I tried to contact Closet World, I got the run around. This was a waste of my hard earned money. I would definitely recommend avoiding this company.

The person who came was so sweet and very nice. She walked through the rooms with us and looked at stuff. Then we told her what we wanted and didn't need for the space, like we didn't need to completely remove everything from some of our closets. We could keep certain parts, and then just add or embellish it. For the other closets, she made recommendations that would work good for the space. She showed me her catalog if we wanted to do anything different, and as we were going through each space, we just talked about it.
We still had stuff in our closet when she came and did the walkthrough, so she didn't notice some of the electrical panels that were in the spaces. So, when we were putting some of the shelves, some of the stuff wouldn't fit. We cut out a notch for the electrical panel because the installers wouldn't tamper with it. So, things like that. It was partly our fault. We were really glad that everyone was very nice. They explained everything. The person who came and installed everything was wonderful, too. So, customer service was fine. Closet World was on the higher end for what we would like in terms of pricing, but the convenience of not having to do any of the demolition ourselves and not having to do any of the installation was built into their price.

I had a corner shelving unit put in and the designer of Closet World was really good. She did a very good job. The installation of the actual corner cabinet went well, but I had ordered a couple of shelves for another unit in a different closet, and they weren't measured properly. They came out, and they had to come back the next day. When they came back the next day, they weren't the right size either. But they ended up correcting the issue. They also cleaned up after themselves and did a good job. If I need something done again, I would call them.

I am super happy with Closet World. I have an old house and I don't have great closet space. So I was excited to work with them. My designer was Heidi and she was amazing. They gave me a window for her visit and she came on time. She also listened to everything that I wanted. I didn't want drawers, I wanted open spaces because I know if I put things in drawers, they would go away forever. So Heidi drew the design I wanted then showed me exactly where everything would be. I even wanted a place for certain things like luggage and she made sure that that was there. If I needed anything, she gave me her card with her cellphone number and she emailed me right after to make sure everything was okay as well.
Then, my installer was Carlos and he also told me everything. The quality of his work is great. Everything smells good and clean. There was no mess left behind and I am in love with my closet. I have a house cleaner and she was so excited too because everything is so organized. It's like I have a walk-in closet now and I would never have that before. Even my husband's stuff is perfect and I have extra room. I can also put stuff like my pajamas in my closet. If you want a new closet, and something that seems new and something old, you should try Closet World. Don't let the bad reviews sway you. Try them and you'll love what they'll do.

There were a couple of incidents where Closet World should have known what they were already selling me. They had to change the price because they had to do something different. They had to change what they did initially when they gave me the bid. So that was at a cost to me. When they came out to measure for the shelving, I didn't want a backing because it just made it one solid white piece and I wanted to see the wall behind it. The lady who sold me the product said, "Oh, yeah, you don't need a backing." But after it went to her manager, they said, "Oh, they can't do it without a backing." It wouldn't be a solid unless they had the backing. They should've known that when they were in my house because she talked to the supervisors.
Closet World tod me the date of delivery and then when I called to set up the appointment for the delivery time, they said that it was gonna be almost a week and a half later. That was really annoying. I had to go back to the lady who sold it to me and then she had to involve her supervisor. It got resolved. But it was an unnecessary headache and a fear that it wasn't gonna get accomplished in the time frame specified. But the installers were great. They came in and installed it. It was really quick. They were very efficient. They did a great job.

When I was looking for a provider that could do cabinets for my garage, I did a Google search and found Closet World. I had a strict timeline, and they were able to meet that for me, which was a big plus. The designer who came was great. He listened and took his measurements. I was limited on time, so he and I had to go, and then we both linked back up later on that day and he finished and closed the job.
The guys that were working did a great job. They were quick, efficient, and everything works. Nothing's broken, and everything's level. I'm happy with the work. I also like that everything is enclosed, and my junk is not out in the open anymore. Overall, Closet World did everything I asked them to. The cabinets are exactly what I envisioned.

Closet World's presentation was really fun. The representative that they sent out here was super knowledgeable and very personable. She was a great salesperson and that was our selling point. My husband and I knew ahead of time what we could work with and what we wanted. So we rolled that out to her. She measured things out and made sure we got what we needed. Then, we had two installers because we didn't just get a closet. We also got a queen size Murphy bed. So, one installer was working on the Murphy bed and one was working on the closet. They were very clean and they kept everything outside. They were here for about half a day and they made sure we checked everything out before they left. They also showed us how to do everything. All in all, I'd recommend Closet World. We felt that it was cost effective too for what we were budgeting and what we wanted to get done.

We liked Closet World's product and presentation. The representative was really, really helpful, really nice, showed us a lot of pictures, and promoted the product. We got the regular drawers and clothes hanger for a walk-in closet. The designer did all the measurements really quick and gave us drawings. My wife told her the changes that she wanted and she said it was no problem. She made all the changes, finalized everything, and gave us a proposal. My wife said it was affordable to us, and then we signed the papers, and got it started.
They only sent one installation guy. He did a great job and cleaned up everything. But we thought it was a lot of work for one person. The guy said it was not a problem. He said it would be all done by the end of the day. By 5 o'clock, everything was cleaned up, and he was off. All in all, Closet World was very professional. They have great customer service. They gave us all the paperwork and the phone numbers to contact in case we had any issues or had to change schedules.

Closet World installed three closet systems for me, and then they helped me do storage for my garage. I didn't have a pantry, so they helped me basically create a pantry for the house also. The lady that I worked with was Anne Marie. She was great. She came on a Saturday afternoon and did all the measurements. I liked that she went above and beyond. I called her there initially just to do the garage and the pantry, but she went on and asked me what were my plans for the rest of the house. I told her and she took measurements for the other closets that were in the house also. After they did that initial system, I decided to go ahead and have closet systems installed. I did the master first, and then the pricing and everything else was working, so I went on and had them do it for the other two rooms. The pricing was great.
My house was built in 1956 and I had it fully renovated, but it's not completely level. So when Closet World did the installation, they made it look like it's level. They put those little touches in to make sure that it looked right. Anne Marie went to my house and let them in to do the work, and then I got there right when they were finishing up. The guy stayed to walk me through it and to see if I had any questions or concerns. They all went above and beyond.

Joy was our consultant and she was absolutely wonderful. I had two other consultations with other people, and Joy was the most competent. She was very thorough. She knew exactly what she was doing. Closet World said that they could do our closet in a day. So, we hired them. The rep who came out was very nice. She was a girl named Taylor and she lives in the area. It seemed that whoever was closest and wanted to take the job gets it. She was familiar with the area and was very friendly. She also had some really good ideas. We initially planned on just doing our master bedroom closet and we were a little bit concerned about the price. My husband asked if we could get estimates for two of our other closets and she was very flexible. I don't think that she had planned to be here that long, but she didn't rush it and I let her do the design by herself.
We moved into a house that was flipped and to make the closets look very large, they just put in rods for hanging. But we needed shelving, so she was able to put in shelving on one side of our closet, then added more hanging on the other side. But you don't really know what to expect if you aren't seeing it in person. So, after seeing it, we decided that we wanted more shelving and we wanted to change the design. I went back to Closet World and they were more than willing to. I love that it's custom made to fit. Maybe what was designed on the first day was to keep the price low or lower, but it wasn't as functional. It was almost very similar to what we had before on one side of our closet. Then, when we wanted to change it to have more shelving, it was going to be $700 more.
I told them that we already spent about $6,000 with their company and I asked if there was any way to get that price down. So, they lowered it for me. But when I did the measurements, I just went and bought the wood at Home Depot for the shelf, because they have the very similar-looking shelving there. Then my dad helped me cut it and we were able to install that ourselves. So, the system itself is very good because you can just add shelf pins and put in shelves wherever you want. The thing is, Closet World makes the measurements really awkward so that it's really hard to go out and purchase them somewhere else. So, rather than a 14-inch shelf, it might be 13 and seven tenth of an inch. If I didn't have my dad to help me do that, it would have been really hard to get that exact measurement.
Aside from that, when Taylor came over and explained what they do, she said that they don't paint. I didn't really realize that my house was built in 1940, so when they demoed the closet, there were strips of a different color paint. Then, the installer explained it to me. But I had to hire somebody to come and texture the wall again, sand it, and repaint it. So, that was a little bit hard because I didn't anticipate that. I was okay with it not being the same shade of white, but it was completely different underneath. All in all, I would tell others that hiring Closet World is very convenient. But I would also tell them to really think about what they need once they receive the design, because it is a collaborative process.

The consultation visit with Closet World’s designer went okay. She did a good job. However, I had issues. The installation was rough. There are two pieces that still need to be fixed. They were broken during installation. It was over a month ago. The rep kept telling me that he was gonna send David out here, but he never got out here. But we got another date coming up soon. They're trying to do their best and I'm really happy with the end result. I just need to get the pieces that are broken fixed.

The consultant from Closet World was very knowledgeable, which made the consultation beneficial. It took about three weeks before they could do the actual installation because they were booked up. But the gentlemen came on time, knew what they were doing, and worked efficiently, so the installation went well. We’re very pleased with the quality of the product. When she did the drawing and when the actual cabinets were installed, I was pleasantly surprised with the size.

Everything was perfect with Closet World. The rep during the consult was very thorough in taking her measurements and creating the diagrams for me to see what it would be like. Closet World’s representative was very pleasant, very clear and concise on what was gonna happen, how it was gonna happen, laid out the whole thing, and measured.
I was surprised that the installation didn’t take long at all. The installers made a couple of small adjustments in the measurements. Then they were done within one hour and a half. It was absolutely great. My doors are beautiful. In fact, I’m thinking of doing another door after this holiday season.
Closet World was good to me and everybody treated me great. The installers were very pleasant and explained how they were gonna do it and what adjustments they had to make. They were in and out and cleaned up after. I was very satisfied with them.

Pricing was a factor why I went with Closet World. They had better pricing than their competitors. The consultant knew what she was doing and listened to me that I got what I wanted. Installation was excellent. I’m not thrilled with the quality because one of the drawers broke, the actual drawer and the slider. I had to call them twice. They did fix both, but they charged me approximately $180 to $200, which was a little disappointing. The quality is not that great, but it looks pretty.

About 12 years ago, we had them do our closet at our other house, and I loved it. This time, when I had two estimates, and you guys were about the same price, I told my husband since we've had Closet World before and loved it, we should just go with them. But it was nothing like it was before. It was very cheaply made and had holes all in the sides of it. I have to go find stickers or little hole plugs to cover them all up. It took over a month to get it finished, too. Because when they first came out, it was not level. And there were chips and scrapes on the sides of my drawers. And the paint, some of it was peeling off. The guy who I talked to, David, was very nice, very patient, and sent somebody else out. The gentleman did not speak English. I couldn't tell him what I saw that was wrong because he didn't really understand what I was saying. So, I got ahold of David and they sent somebody else out.
The drawers that they sent, when you open them up, I don't know if it was the adhesive or whatever they use, but they smell so bad, so the guy cleaned it with acetone. All I smelled was acetone, so I said it was fine. Hours later, the smell came back. He told me he would come and do it again. Finally, I told David I'm just gonna air them out, keep them out in the garage for a week or two and, hopefully, the smell goes away. It didn't go all the way away, though. I just put air fresheners in my drawers.
I would not recommend them at all. It makes me so sad. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but it caused a lot of strain. And I didn't ask for anything fancy. I just needed a closet to hang my clothes and a couple of drawers. It's definitely not worth the $3,500 that I paid. My husband could have done it better.

I had Closet World in my prior home in North Hills, and I liked what they did, which is why I hired them for my new home. I upgraded the master closet, installing modules to hang coats, pants and shirts. There are also places with shelving, and a set of drawers.
Initially, there was a team of two contractors, but only one proceeded because the manufacturer made my CD rack with the wrong dimensions, so they sent it back, and it came back with the correct dimensions, after which they installed it.
My favorite feature of the new closet is the cherry wood finish and its functionality. It looks very nice. My experience with the designer was very good. She was helpful, meticulous, and I enjoyed it a lot. I’m very satisfied with the quality of service I received from Closet World .

I just ordered from Closet World. It was a custom order of closet doors for our bedroom. We turned that room into a playroom for our grandchildren. Its doors were extremely heavy, and I was concerned that one of those doors would come off.
So we changed the doors. The person who did it was a little unsure of herself. But she was very nice and patient. She took her time. But she measured them wrong. We waited two weeks to get them. And when they arrived, they were too short.
We had to wait another two weeks to get the right size of the doors. I called to complain, and they gave me a 10% discount. They were accommodating. I would probably use them again.

Everything went well with the installation of the shelves and walk-in closet. Working with Closet World’s designer was smooth and cooperative, as well. There was a little bit of an issue with a measurement for some of the shelves. It was something that was part of the design, but when he started to install it, he realized it didn't work right and suggested that they go ahead and change it. I appreciated him saying it and not just doing it per the design. They had to come back another day, but it wasn't a problem. They were very accommodating.

The design process with our rep was great, and I felt like I was part of it. But I was a little unhappy. We wanted to make some changes, and they weren’t the most accommodating at first. They did accommodate us eventually. So, they did their best. And it was partly my fault. But when you’re designing a closet and spending the kind of money you’re spending with them, there’s some things that are just unknown. So, the overall experience with Closet World was okay. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great.
The installation was fine. I feel like the way they packed the vans with all the parts is a little janky. All the parts come in just shoved in the back of a van. Once again, if you’re spending $14,000, you would think it was packed better. So, that was interesting. And there were a couple of little nicks, but they fixed them. And the installer did a good job. He was there late working.

The lady who came out from Closet World was wonderful. She was thorough. She described everything. She designed it. She took her time. The installation crew was good, too. They were helpful. They installed everything that they were given. But it didn’t end that great.
The only thing that was wrong with the cabinets was that the cabinet doors and the drawers didn’t match. And I’ve been trying to work with them to resolve it, and it’s already been three weeks. They came out last Monday to try to fix the problem, but it still has the same issue. So, now, we’re just in limbo. Because we paid an extra $2,400 for the upgraded finish, and we still don’t have cabinets that match. So, we had some great first dates, but we had a little bit of an issue.

The designer from Closet World was competent and a quick learner, even though she was new. We were totally satisfied with her. They did a sliding door for a closet, and the installation went smoothly. The quality of the work was fine, but it did need an adjustment. There was a current promotion going on at the time with Closet World when I inquired about the project. The sales rep was very knowledgeable. She designed the concept and layout exactly as I had envisioned and made it pretty easy. We got a complete system with a closet, shelves, drawers, and hanging racks. The quality is good. Everything seems to be managing just perfectly.
The sales and marketing gave a pretty good description of pricing programs, but you don’t really get a good grasp of them until you start digging through the weeds. I wouldn’t say it’s misleading, but it’s just enough to kind of get you to bite, and then everything comes on kind of a la carte after it’s all said and done. The salesman and the installer were perfect. I'd definitely tell my friends or family to look into it, and I would refer them to the person that came out to do my project.

I canceled my contract 1 day after I signed the contract because I was not ready to proceed. The paperwork stated I would receive a refund in 10 days. It has been 18 days and still no refund. I called the makin office last week and no one has returned my call. I'm not happy.

I ended up calling three companies, and the others just did not follow through. Closet World, on the other hand, was responsive. The initial consultation was with a woman, and she was very informative. Actually, I was not going to go with them at all because I did not like the setup of how they do closets. I preferred a different way, but after talking to her, she really worked with me and helped me come up with a plan that I was comfortable with. So, I decided to go with them.
The installation was easy, and I just let the gentleman do his thing. It took him about five hours to do it, and he was very meticulous. He cleaned up after himself. The experience was nice and easy, and I would tell friends that they were great.

We wanted a cedar-lined closet, and we wanted it where it was gonna do us the most good. We've had closet work done before, and Closet World came to mind because they're all over the place. We had a salesperson come out, and the gentleman's name was Frank. He wanted to find out what we had and what we wanted. He supposedly went in with my wife to look at the closet. They determined how much cedar we needed and where we needed it, the size of our closet, what we had before, and what he was planning to give me for future use of a new closet. He then proceeded to do a layout for what he was gonna give us.
The installer had a plan as to how he was gonna put the closet together, and he was very good. It's just that when we started using the new closet, I questioned Closet World's decision on how they were going to provide us with more space while including the existing space that we had before, and the things that we had in it. It fell off there because they could have done a much better job in giving us not only the additional closet space and the cedar boards that we needed in place, but also to take care of the existing stuff that was in the closet. Frank did refer to my wife a little, and maybe we'll take a bit of responsibility not communicating as properly as we should, but they should take a little responsibility based on, did they really take care of the customer? They gave me closet space for hanging stuff, but then we had other things in there that were not considered.

Closet World scheduled a design appointment the next day, and the design process went very smoothly. The designer did a good job and listened to all our wants and needs. He told us it would take about four weeks to get the product, and then we’d get an install date. During installation, the installer went over the layout and mentioned that he saw an outlet in the closet. The designer had already included that in the layout plans, but it wasn’t cut out in the wood. The installer asked if it would be okay to just cover it and made it seem like a big deal to cut it out, even though that was part of the plan. I agreed, but it was bothersome. When I asked about it, it felt like he wasn’t willing to change it and made me feel bad for bringing it up. But the installation was very fast, and we’re very pleased with the closet, except for the outlet being covered.

My experience with Class World was very good. I needed something for my house. It was so cluttered and just not nicely decorated. So, I thought of a nice and cohesive look to get three shelves and some storage space because we have a real small kitchen.
We moved into this house, and the kitchen is just as small as my apartment. The house is at least twice the size, and I still have the small, terrible kitchen and walk-in closet in my bedroom.
There's no shelf space, and in two units, one on each side, there are three shelves. That's kind of what I wanted. The salesperson explained everything to me. They installed it, and everything went well. It only had one shelf.
And then they called me, and I said I wish it had come with more shelves. But the sales representative said she wasn't aware. Then the person at their office sent me two additional shelves for each unit free of charge, which was very nice. But it didn't include the little brackets.
The sales lady, Judy, said she was gonna send those brackets to me. But nothing has been followed through. I have not received them, and it's holding up my organization for my pots and pans, which are standing there around. I need those little brackets to put them in there.
I'm so frustrated with my kitchen. It's a small thing but I am kind of disappointed with the sales lady for not keeping her word on that, because I really needed the shelving space.
I'm blaming myself for not being more aware of the shelving space on the bottom doors. It didn't click to me until they were already installed. I was gonna call them back soon to see what happened with them. I can pay them extra, but I have to make the effort to call back.
When the sales lady came back, they were trying to sell another offer. When I didn't want to purchase a dining area cabinet, they said if I wanted to have this big sale, 50% off. And then she came over again.
I wanted something like a little China buffet, but what she tried to offer me was the same unit as in the living room, like a wall console bookshelf. And she wanted to do the same thing in the dining room, and that's not what I'm looking for.
But when they explain it to me in the book and diagram. I don't really know until it's actually there in front of my face, where I can see it. I wanted a buffet, like a half-size with glass doors, but she didn't really have that.

Closet World was a good experience, especially the guy who came to set it up for me. He was very professional and nice. Their price was more logical than others and I saw the reviews were good. I had wanted to redo my office for a long time, so I decided to work with Closet World after a neighbor used them for a utility closet. So I reached out, got a quote, and I also engaged another company who really didn't do exactly what I wanted. It was expensive, but I decided to go ahead and do it.
The gentleman who came out was very good, knew his business, worked quickly, listened to the customer, understood what I was interested in, and drew out a drawing very quickly.
I ended up having a flood in my house after I spoke with him and did not sign a contract. I had to put him on hold for about nine or ten months. That wasn’t his fault, it was because of the flood. When I was ready to get back into it, I called him and he came out quickly.
We redesigned things because I had some other ideas. The only comment I’d make, this is partly on me since I have some design background. What I learned is that when someone is working with a client on a project like this, especially an office, you need to think about electrical outlets. I got an outlet buried behind my storage cabinets and one under the desk. If I’d realized it, I would have had my electrician or contractor add another outlet, maybe one above the desk or add another one that I could have access to. But overall, he was very responsive and helpful and I appreciate him.

I heard about Closet World from My daughter-in-law who used them. The first part of the experience was not as good. The person that installed was very good, but the person that came in just did us wrong. We had negotiated on the price, and then after that, they came back and said notches were not included. So, we paid an extra $200 for that.
And then when the installer came in, there was no notches on the board and he did not know anything. He called his supervisor, supervisor called the designer, and the designer said that that part was not paid for. But I said that the guy came in a second time for us to pay that, and that it showed on the paper, too.
The second time, he did come in, and we paid. He changed his story when the supervisor called him back by saying, “Oh, no, she paid for the belt rack and then the tie rack.” That was not true because even the installer saw that on the original invoice, it already mentioned that this was included. So, when he came the second time, that was not what it was. I think they didn’t want to come back because it was going to be a waste of time. And the supervisor wanted to refund me the $200, of which that was not what this was about and I wanted the notches.
So, finally, he told the installer, “Why don’t you cut the notches and see if they like it?” So, the guy did it, and I said that it was going to work. I don’t need to be at 100% beautiful, which would be nice. So, I worked with them. The installer was super nice. And thanks to him, everything went just perfect. The result is amazing. I am very pleased.

Their website doesn’t give prices. It just has pictures and some reviews, and it offers a free consultation. I thought if someone was coming out and the consultation was free, I would go for it. If it was too expensive, I would have kept searching. But they came out for the free consultation, and the sales representative took perfect measurements, so I paid for it immediately and had everything set up before she left.
Two guys did the installation. While it was done very quickly, it was kind of a bummer that the product came dirty. Like they took it off the truck, their gloves were dirty, and they left some fingerprints. I told one of the guys it looked used, and he said it came off the truck that way from production. He insisted they cleaned it before they left and even cleaned it again with turpentine. However, when I started putting things in the closet, I still noticed some dirt marks that I couldn’t get off. It wasn’t very noticeable, but it would have been nice if they had cleaner gloves and the product came straight off the truck cleaner.
The closet was a surprise for my husband, and when he saw it, he was absolutely floored at how nice it was.

I got a closet and shelves at Closet World. They had done work at my brother and my parents’ house. Their pricing was better. And their product was similar to other companies I looked for, or identical in some cases for all manufacturers.
The consultant was fine. He came in, he showed me a product. It was very similar to other pitches I got from other companies, so it was not really any different. But the design of the closet was collaborative.
I would say mostly positive about them. They were due to be installed prior I left the country, and I’m not entirely sure what the issue was. But the representative advised me that he hadn’t gotten a signature or done something on time.
Everything got delayed and it ended up being installed after our trip. My husband was there when they came out. I’m still out of the country. But as far as I understand, it was fine. The installer was supposed to have an assistant. The assistant called off.
My husband had done a lot of the demo work himself to help them in advance, so my understanding is the installer was grateful that he didn’t have to do that. And I do know that he was within his window time to arrive, and he was out and done the same day.
It didn’t seem to be problematic for my husband. I love it.

Closet World had a free installation and a 50% discount, so I went with them. I got two cabinets and a center console with four drawers. The consultation was fine. The individual brought some samples, did some measurements, and put it all together. I told him what I was looking for, and we agreed on a design. The pricing they gave me was still high, so he called his supervisor. They negotiated a lower price, and I accepted it.
The installers had to come twice because the design consultant had the wrong measurements. The cabinets were too large. They had to take everything back and either make new ones or redo them. They installed them the second time they came. The Now the cabinet drawers have some marks on them. They did not put in a base board and crown molding because they said those were left off the order. I don’t know why they were left off the order when they clearly were discussed with me and the design consultant. I had actual emails from the design consultant sending me what they look like. After discussing it with them, they agreed to do those two things for free. But they haven’t come back and done it yet.

I needed my broken closet door repaired and redesigned, so I called Closet World to fix it. The designer was great, professional, knowledgeable, and consultative. She seemed to care. Then we priced it, and there was an additional need. The price was right, so we ended up getting a second door. She then did the design and the layout of the closet. Once we saw the price, we just made the decision to do it.
We’re not super pleased with the shelves and bars length. I need to make some adjustments, or I call her, because there are some clothes hanging on the floor. So we just need to figure it out. We haven’t had the opportunity to take everything down and see if we could raise the bar before I call to say we might need to fix something.
The only unfortunate part was that they had to remove the molding around the bottom, and I had to recut that because they had to remove what was back there for it to sit on the ground, so that wasn’t part of the installation. But, overall, I would say they did a good job, and the product was good. They showed up on time, and they cleaned up and didn’t leave a mess.

Closet World was the first place that said they did built-in bookshelves on Google. Their people were totally professional, and they really tried to make sure the project was in a doable budget. They also answered all my questions. I had a wonderful experience with them. The guy who did the installation was super professional and really friendly too. He was in and out of there in two hours. I love my closet. It looks beautiful and it’s perfect. I get lots of compliments. It's doing exactly what it's supposed to do. I'm really grateful that things all worked out so nicely.

There was a mess in my closet. A Closet World designer came and she was very nice and seemed knowledgeable. She wanted to save me some money, so she gave me good pieces of advice on how to do it like how to design my closet so it wouldn't cost a lot. My closet is just white shelves and there are hanging rods. The installation didn't take long. I was expecting the installers to come in the morning so I took the whole day off. But I learned that they would come after 1:00. My half day was for nothing.
In the end, they came at 4:00. I could have worked all day and I wouldn't have had to take the whole day off if I knew that. That was not too good. That aside, I would advise friends to go with Closet World. If you have a mess in your closet and you want to organize it, just go and do it.

April, the designer, she was brilliant and did an exceptional job. I was concerned because I'm not easy, and when I sat down with her, I felt very comfortable with her. I just moved, and my house was built in the 80s, and the way the closet was set up was just not functional at all. Now I have a two-sided closet, and the way she designed it, she gave me room for every one of my items and clothing, which I didn’t have before. The installer came on time, stayed focused, and he did his job perfectly. I made a good decision going with Closet World.

We priced Closet World and another brand. Closet World was same type of product and a lot cheaper.
Closet World’s designer was a very nice guy. He was new, though, and got the measurements wrong. But they were able to fix the issue., just delayed by a couple of days.
Installation was perfect. The guys handled the business, took care of it. They weren't a problem. They cleaned up after themselves. So far, it's been a great product. It looks good. It's off the floor, and the way the doors close, it’s very easy, but they stay closed.

I went back to Closet World because of my positive experience with them about six years ago at a previous home. My recent experience started on a good note when the designer came to visit. She was attentive to our needs and presented us with two different design options. We picked one that worked well for us.
However, there was a slight hiccup with the installation process. Although the installation team was competent, there was a misunderstanding regarding the molding on the old closet doors. I expected that with the new doors, the old molding would be replaced, but they informed me that they don't handle moldings. To resolve this, I had a handyman come in to paint the molding to match the new doors. It seemed like the designer didn't grasp my request to replace everything, including the molding.
Overall, I am really pleased with how efficient and quick the whole process was. The functionality of the new closet is superb. I'm more than happy with their service and would absolutely recommend Closet World to anyone in need of similar services.

I had Closet World organize my home, choosing to have three closets installed. One of them is a master walk-in closet complete with drawers, shelves, and ample hanging space. The other two are smaller but similarly equipped with drawers, shelves and hanging space.
I found the process from design to installation quite smooth. Our designer was efficient, coming up with the design plans, and some months later, everything was installed in just a single day. The workmanship met our expectations as the assembly went well. However, I wouldn’t categorize the materials they used as top quality—they're more utilitarian, which is acceptable to a point.
Despite the material, I would still recommend Closet World to friends and family as we're content with the current setup. Overall, it's been a positive experience, and I'm happy with the result.

I was hopeful due to my past positive experiences with Closet World, but this time around, the experience left a lot to be desired. The designer provided plans for the closet, but once installation began, it was clear that the design didn't match what was presented to me. The drawers were all on the wrong side. The installer tried to adjust things and managed to resolve some issues, but they had to deviate from the original plans significantly.
The installer himself did the best he could, given the situation. Unfortunately, some of the drawers still don't close properly. The process was further strained due to mismanagement; the installer arrived early and realized there was missing wood. This required multiple phone calls and introduced delays as he had to pick up the needed materials personally, which extended the entire process to almost midnight.
Despite all these setbacks, the installer handled everything with professionalism. Still, I'm dissatisfied with the level of service and am hesitant to recommend Closet World based on this experience. Given my busy schedule running two businesses and a new home, I haven’t had the time to push further on resolving the remaining drawer issues. However, the dedication of the installer himself did not go unnoticed.

The Closet World designer who visited me was excellent. She worked closely with me to incorporate my preferences into the design plan, and we got along quite well. I appreciated her accommodating nature and the personalized approach she took to ensure my needs were met.
The product Closet World provided included a low cabinet with eight drawers, complemented by a broom closet and two double door cabinets. The installation process was quick and efficient. The team hung everything from the wall just as I wanted, without any items touching the garage floor. We saw Closet World's ad in the local paper that they were doing a percentage off. We called them, had them come out, and they give us an estimate. Initially, things went a little rough, but they changed the designer and that made a huge difference. Then we went ahead and had them build the closet for us. They helped us plan a master walk-in closet that included shelving units, and it turned out very well. Throughout the process, we felt included in the decision-making. We even decided to upgrade our flooring from carpet to hardwood before proceeding, and they were flexible with the timeline to accommodate this change. The new designer collaborated with us to restart the design process and incorporate some changes. The Closet World designer who assisted us was excellent. She thoroughly listened to our needs regarding hangings and shelving—both tall and short. Her attention to detail in understanding and inventorying our requirements was impressive.

Closet World came and did a repair. They were great. They fixed an issue for me where one component in my laundry area fell apart. It was inconvenient as the piece would angle out causing everything to fall on the floor. The technician came by, and instead of replacing it, he adeptly reused the original part and secured it with longer screws. This practical and effective repair left it functioning just fine. However, I found the cost a bit high at $150. I also felt somewhat uninformed about alternative solutions, thinking I might not have needed them for this fix. The work done was of good quality, and despite my surprise with the fee, they did the job well. I’d probably suggest them to friends or family, even if just to highlight the successful repair experience.

I had the opportunity to work with a fantastic designer named Heather, whose expertise and professionalism impressed me immensely. In fact, Heather was the reason I ultimately decided to have multiple projects undertaken with Closet World; we ended up designing four closets and a home office.
The installation process was quite smooth. While there was a minor hiccup with the glass doors being incorrectly sliced, the issue was resolved quickly and efficiently, with the corrected doors being installed within a week and a half. From start to finish, everything—from the design phase to the final installation—was handled smoothly.
The quality of the work stands out to me. I describe it as very good, and the entire experience left me satisfied. Although I don't typically provide ratings, I would likely give Closet World a top score based on my encounter.

I went with Closet World for a home project after seeing their advertisement. The initial interaction with their designer was quite positive; she made sure to understand our needs and tried to create the vision we were aiming for.
The installation was handled effectively by a single technician, whose work popped with crown molding and other trims that wonderfully integrated into our space. Nonetheless, I did notice afterward that the backing I had paid for was not fixed as I expected, which resulted in a slight disappointment—though it's something only noticeable upon a close examination. Despite not addressing it at the moment, it remains a minor nuisance in an otherwise satisfying experience.

I opted for Closet World due to its reputation, but my experience has left me with mixed feelings. Initially, I was pleased with the attentive service I received from the representative, but communication issues arose with a call from a representative who never got back to me. This was disappointing, especially since I had a significant closet project in mind after my husband's passing.
The consultant who assisted with the design was friendly, but she never discussed important details like shelf sizes, and I was a bit disappointed when the installed shelves turned out smaller than expected. They could have utilized my closet space better, considering it's quite large. Unfortunately, leftover nails from previous fixtures were not addressed, which was bothersome since I'm 85 and need to hire help for this.
Installation was efficient but lacked the customization I was hoping for, like more hanging spaces or larger shelves. Despite my frustrations with these aspects, the overall look is satisfactory. Still, I'm hesitant to do more closets with them, as the experience hasn't entirely met my expectations.
I'm mindful of giving Closet World a fair assessment and would consider recommending them, recognizing that part of the issue may have been from my side for not clearly communicating my needs. However, the lack of follow-up and design inflexibilities leave me pondering potential alternatives for any future projects.

I liked what I saw on the internet about Closet World but their website could improve by offering more visuals and options. My initial meeting with their representative was quite thorough. She shared a brochure and designed the layout with me. During the installation, the team was informative and open to questions, which was reassuring. They completed their work promptly, only having a minor delay for a backsplash. I got a Murphy bed, a desk, a counter with shelving, and enhancements for both my pantry and walk-in closet. The Murphy bed exceeded my expectations in quality and design. Overall, I was impressed with the construction and installation, although I initially found the shelving aesthetically unappealing for the price. Over time, I grew to appreciate its quality and functionality.

I used Closet World's services for a crafting setup in my home. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a major mistake. I spent nearly $8,000 on what I hoped would be a smooth and professional installation. Instead, it's been a hassle every step of the way.
The shelving they installed along two walls includes a corner unit that's not even level. They blame this on my walls and floors, claiming they're not straight, but I find it unbelievable that a professional installer wouldn't have dealt with such issues before. Their insistence that they can't make any adjustments is frustrating.
The experience with the installation team wasn't great. Most of them did not speak English, and while I have no problem with that, their lack of professionalism stood out. It felt like they were discussing things in front of me without being open and transparent, and I could sense them talking about me.
When it came to handling issues, interaction with their installer manager was no better. He was dismissive and talked down to me simply because I am a woman, refusing to take my concerns seriously. I ended up having to contact the company directly and insist on dealing with someone else moving forward.
Overall, I would rate my experience with Closet World negatively. If asked to give it a star rating, I wouldn’t even consider giving it a 1. It's been a truly disappointing experience across the board.

We bought new construction and the developer used Closet World as a vendor. We decided to have them install a walk-in closet in our master bedroom. As for the installation, it was quite efficient. There were some complications unrelated to Closet World due to communication equipment that the developer required to be stored in the master bedroom. This necessitated some custom configuration in the closet design to accommodate it, but Closet World managed well and everything fit perfectly in the end. Regarding the design and quality, I can only comment based on pictures as we currently reside on the East Coast during the summer and haven't seen it in person. However, the pictures suggest it looks quite nice. The designer we worked with was excellent, and the installation was timely.

I picked Closet World because I received a coupon in the mail, and the experience with their salesperson was quite reassuring. They sent a designer over who was really nice and seemed knowledgeable. I decided to get shelves and rails installed to maximize my closet space.
On installation day, everything went smoothly, and the two men sent by Closet World were thorough professionals. They knew exactly what they were doing. However, I didn't anticipate any sawing or drilling, and it caught me a bit off guard. Though I figured out a space for them to work, I felt that they could have done a better job sealing the area to prevent dust from spreading into my bedroom. While there was a bit of a dust issue post-installation, which they could've cleaned up better, overall, I'm pleased with the outcome. They did a nice job, and the quality of work was very good. I would have rated them a 4 out of 5.

My brother-in-law had an excellent experience with Closet World, which influenced my decision to try them out. I was impressed with the quality of work they did on his closets, and they offered reasonable prices as well.
During my own experience, the designer who came out was attentive and had excellent communication skills. He thoroughly answered all my questions. I decided on installing a few shelves and a drawer, and I was very pleased with the look, finish, and material.
On the day of installation, a single person handled the task efficiently. The process was smooth, and everything was completed quicker than I had expected. The quality of the installation met the high expectations that were initially set.

Closet World did some work for me when I first bought my house in 2003-2004 and I had them back for my closet project at the end of June. This experience with Closet World was outstanding. Their team was excellent, knowledgeable, and very professional. They laid out their plans clearly, and everything went just as they described. The satisfaction came with the reassurance of a "happy wife, happy life" after seeing their work. I was also very appreciative of the great military discount they offered me as a veteran.
Closet World did an exceptional job. Both my wife and I, and even guests who have seen the work, have nothing but praise. In fact, my daughters used to have their unique closet spaces. They were over this weekend, and they were impressed with how everything turned out. We've encouraged others to consider Closet World, given our satisfaction. Overall, the experience was excellent.

Days since it was supposed to have been installed. A week after they no-showed our install date I finally got someone to tell me it was placed on hold on June 16th due to "missing info." Apparently the designer measured wrong, but they never reached out to me to get the measurements. Senior Sales Manager, Alex Bendigo, supposedly "fixed" the order and emailed me his changes for my approval. His changes included a shelf unit that is 96" tall when our closet is only 82" tall. I replied with the correct measurements a week ago and told him exactly what I needed, and he has yet to respond to the email. He doesn't answer calls or return voicemails either.
At this point my husband and I have called Closet World at over 6 different phone numbers well over 20 times, as well as emailing clientissues@closetworld.com (as I was told to do in my original review) and we still have no answers to when our order will be delivered. This is the worst customer service I have ever had. their general customer service form on the website. We still have no answers to when our order will be delivered. A neighbor and a girlfriend used Closet World's services and when we were in the midst of remodeling our garage, their experiences made me confident in choosing Closet World as well. The designer, Sam, who came out was fabulous. She truly understood the vision and required minimal input from us. I was pressed for time, but she quickly grasped exactly what we wanted, provided the necessary estimates, and got everything scheduled seamlessly. We ended up installing two tall, double-door cabinets, approximately 36 inches deep. Storage capacity was important to us since we didn't want shallow cabinets, especially given our investment. These cabinets were perfect for our needs, floating off the ground which is great for flooding protection and finished with white handles.
The installation process was straightforward—just two installers who arrived on time and worked efficiently for possibly around 2 to 3 hours. We didn't need to assist; they managed everything themselves and made sure our garage was left spotless. I was thoroughly impressed with the quality; I would confidently say the cabinets are built to last for generations. If I were to rate Closet World, I'd give them 5 stars. The ease, quality, and service definitely justify the cost, making me eager to recommend them to friends or family for any organizational needs.

We live in an area affected by the Eaton Fire, and during our cleanup and repairs, our original Closet World closet was damaged by the remediation team. We called Closet World and found out that there was a 50% off deal, which really sealed the deal for us. So, we decided to schedule a replacement installation, and I'm so glad we did.
The design process was straightforward. Our designer, who was genuinely fantastic, helped us out. However, since we wanted exactly what we had before because of insurance issues with the fire remediation team, there wasn't much design work involved. She carefully took all the necessary measurements, ensuring everything was just right.
We opted for the most basic setup—a straightforward design with a dresser in the center and then two sides hanging. Installation day was smooth and hassle-free. Just one installer came, and he was exceptionally efficient and friendly. Honestly, the entire process was so quick that I barely noticed the time passing, leaving me very happy with the outcome.
I'm genuinely pleased with how everything turned out and can confidently say the entire experience with Closet World was top-notch.

I was searching for closet systems online and Closet World’s presentation stood out to me. Plus, their pricing seemed quite reasonable. The installation process itself was fine, and my interactions with the designer matched my initial expectations—nothing extraordinary but satisfactory.

I used Closet World before for a closet project and I liked their work. They recently installed a walk-in closet for me, and the experience was terrific. The designer who came out was great.
The installation process was impressive. The installer was professional and worked diligently, even though he was handling two areas—my master closet and the downstairs storage—by himself. The entire installation took about 5 hours, demonstrating the worker's efficiency and skill.
Overall, I have nothing but praise for Closet World. Their service and the quality of their work are simply outstanding. If you’re considering updating your storage spaces, I cannot recommend them enough.

The initial consultation visit with Closet World was handled by representatives who clearly knew what they were talking about, so that was a positive experience.
When it came to the installation, there were a few snags. Although it was supposed to be a two-day process, the team tried to wrap everything up in one day, staying until 8 or 9 o'clock at night. They had to return to fix a few drawer alignments and other issues, but those have since been resolved.
Now that everything's completed, I would describe the quality as quite good—ultimately, it reflects the cost of the service. Overall, I would rate my experience as a 3 out of 5, based on the rushed installation and necessary adjustments afterward.

The salesperson was very knowledgeable, and flexible. She explained the product the way it should be explained, the hardware, what it does, what it doesn't do, what are the options. She asked me what I wanted, took into consideration all my ideas, and put them down on paper. She sold the product. She sold the company first, and because of her, I went with Closet World. She was wonderful, and I am happy with the closets and cabinets I got. Maybe the price could’ve been better, but the way the economy is, I understand.

Our experience with Closet World was great. We have used them already three times in the past. So, I have had a lot of experience with them since 2005. Ther designer was fantastic. That was the first time I have had her. She was very advanced in being able to put something together. She was very creative, and what she said, she did. She put things together in no time. The installer was good too, and he knew what he was doing. In fact, I remember him from one of my other installations. He was very on top of it and did the job. He had me look at it, and did whatever needed to be done. It was great.
Downstairs under the stairwell was a little bit challenging. You cannot stand up in the back half of it. So I didn’t have a whole lot of options, but I did the shelving. The gal that put it together pointed me in the right direction. I was going to go with the smaller depth in the shelf, and she said, “You may as well go the extra depth.” And I’m glad that she suggested that, because I would have been left out on that one.
I also had both my closets in the bedrooms done. I had them be a little bit creative, and I had the closet as built out, so it had a platform that was open. And then I had them enclose the ceiling. At first, they thought, “Well, we usually don’t do that.” But they did. They put it together and it’s great too. They put doors on it, exactly what I wanted.
And then at our other house, they built out all the closets. So, they did the drawer and the wrap-around inside the closet. I wish they did kitchens or they did more things than just closets. It is a little bit pricey when you think about it at first, but, all in all, if you want a project done, it’s nice because they come and it’s done. And you don’t have to go any further and think about it. It was worth it to do it with them. The quality is not over the top. As far as lasting, if it lasts as long as my other stuff has lasted, that would excellent. Overall, I am very satisfied.

The consultation visit from Closet World was wonderful and the people were very professional. They are all wonderful. I was even able to decide on the installation date. But when they took the baseboards out, some paint came off the wall. I thought they would've dabbed it up, and made it look a little presentable. I guess I gotta do that myself. There’s also a big piece of wood which seems that I need to dispose of myself. I don't wanna touch it because of the nails in it, but it's okay. I'll figure it out. Overall, I like everything about the quality and the design, so I’m about to make an appointment to get some drawers installed.

I like the rep that came to the house, so I decided to go with Closet World. She was friendly, and she worked with me because it was a small space. In the installation, however, there was a measurement that was wrong. So, it turned into being a two-visit process. They had to come back. There was one little part that looked choppy but it was okay. They told me that it was going to be difficult because they were cutting around a light switch. I did not notice it until after they were gone. But, other than that, everything was fine.

I've used Closet World before. The designer was very knowledgeable. I had a kitchen utility closet and shelves put in, a closet redone with rods and with drawers, a little desk, and a linen closet put in.
I think they took care of everything in one day. They had to come out. And somebody didn't measure something right. So they had to come back the next day. But they were very nice. They've done it in an excellent quality.
Well, I could have asked a contractor to come over and do this for me, and the contractor's just gonna do what I tell him to do. I really didn't know how to design the space. But the Closet World lady, she really knew what she was doing since everything turned out really good.
They're expensive, but they're worth it.

The sales consultant from Closet World was very good. The representative that they sent did a good job and was very personable. She arrived on time and gave me the right information, so it was fine.
The installation went as planned. They showed up a little late, but they were within the time frame they were supposed to be there. They did the installation correctly, and they got it done fairly quickly, and with no trouble. The final product looks fine. It was a bookcase and nothing complicated.

Placed order in late May. Signed agreement and at time I signed it my rep, who was REALLY tough to get a timely response from, said “Great news” the new promo that’s in effect is free backing so you can get that for no charge. Stupidly I didn’t make him modify the agreement as I was in a hurry trying to get it scheduled and finish packing my old house. We moved in June 10 and left all our wardrobe boxes in our garage so the closet could be built out. They came this week to install the closet & didn’t include any backing.
The installation person said he can only install what’s in the contract & that I’d need to reach out to my sales rep. 3 days later, multiple calls & emails to the rep have gone unanswered. I feel like my $ was a total waste. The closet looks TERRIBLE because of all the damage from the removal of the previous closet that is visible behind the new unit. It’s going to take my wife and I a week to fix this since clearly CLOSET WORLD isn’t responding. Simply delays our ability to unpack our wardrobe boxes into the closet.

I loved Closet World and Al was great. But request a back wall to your closet because that makes it look so much nicer and prettier. This is a brand-new home and it has a big closet. I just needed one wall to be done to specifics. I liked Al. When he came, he was frustrated. We're in a secure 55-and-older community and he couldn't find the place. He was hot and tired.
I told him I wasn't sure his company was the one for me because my purses are important and I wanted them here and there and on display. But I had a narrow budget, and I knew that. Then he showed me a solution that works. And I said, “Well, Al, maybe you are the person.” He said, “Oh, we are. I'll show you what I can do.” He was really great. He drew out what I needed to see and walked me through it. I was then very happy.
I love everything, except I have no backing to that closet. The whole unit was just pieces, not all one cohesive unit that's stuck in the wall. I've had a closet redo before and I got a wooden backing so that it was all white, crisp and cohesive as I slide my clothes left to right. But now I'm looking at a wall every day that tells me I need to paint. I was surprised that they ripped everything out. So it left me more work than I thought I was gonna get.
I broke my foot and I'm in a cast up to my knee for 10 weeks. I can't do the painting right now and my husband's unable to do some things. That means my friend has to come back over for the third time and take out clothing so I can paint. I wasn't expecting that. I didn't want that. But it is what it is, and it definitely is working.

Customer service had a really good balance of being up-front, not salesy, and no nonsense. I had a really great experience with them from start to finish. I've had other companies, but it wasn’t a great experience. Like, I’d ask them to quote for blinds, and then they’d try to sell me shades and other stuff that I didn’t ask for.
I had a master bedroom closet and garage cabinets done too. It was kind of a pain because the master bedroom closet was on the third floor, so there’s a lot of traipsing around and carrying stuff. The installers were very respectful. It was very clean. I can’t say enough nice things about the installation, and the design helped. They're great.
The designer was wonderful. She was very prompt, not salesy, very practical, and was able to understand what my problem was and provide solutions for it. She was great. The price was super reasonable too, compared with what my preconceived expectation was.

I hired Closet World and I had a very good experience with them. Their designer came out shortly after I called. An appointment was made within two days and we looked at exactly what I wanted. The designer was able to draw out exactly what I had envisioned in my mind, and the installation was done. The only thing that I have a problem with was it took three weeks afterwards. The installers were actually building the stuff from scratch and it was specifically for what I wanted.
Other than that, the people who came and put the unit all together were done in two hours. It looked beautiful, functional, very well made. I have another installation coming on Friday. The installers were very professional, pleasant, and very efficient. I am very happy with the outcome of their work.

My experience with Closet World was great. The designer did a good job. She was very meticulous, and she didn't rush through. She took her time, asked a lot of questions, and made suggestions.
I had them come out twice for cabinets in the garage. I have 10 foot ceilings out there. I had lots of school stuff, books, lots of books, and it accommodated them. And so far, the shelves haven't fallen down. So, I guess, it's not too heavy.
There's 10 cabinets out there. Some of them go all the way up, like 8 feet. And then there's only one of them that is short because they've got the solar and all that stuff out there. And you have to work around it.
She was good about figuring out what could go. And we couldn't make it too deep, so we could still get the cars in and all that good stuff. I just have a few things out there to put away and it will be done.
The installation process is fine. They came out three different times. Actually, the second install, people were the most friendly and helpful.
Everybody was fine. One person did one job, and the other person did the other job. And then they came together when they needed to to lift things and all that. It was pretty efficient.
I've already told my daughter who has stuff stuck up in the attic, and that she really needs to get these people to her house.
The only thing that was a little frustrating was that I was having a lot done. And it's that two-week period, from the time that I ordered it with a consultant and then they came, and I understand.
But I was just in a hurry because this is a brand new house and I had piles of stuff in my garage. It was the time factor. And when you talk about doing quite a bit, two weeks isn't that much. Of course, there's a lot of other people out there getting it also.

I chose Closet World because the saleslady was real nice and gave us a good price.
I told the designer that my husband didni't want me to have it because we thought it was too expensive, but she kept bringing it down, helping us get to a price that we wanted to pay. She was very persistent but very nice, and I really liked her.
Only one guy came to install, Miguel. I was upset because it seemed like a lot of work just for one person, but he was really good. He put it all together in six hours. I really liked him.
Quality is very good, places for my clothes and my long clothes, lots of shelves for me to put my shoes, and a hamper. I really like that.

I was looking for a custom all-wood closet system for my new house, but I couldn't find anyone competent enough to make shelves. I had Closet World installed in my other home 20 years ago, so I called them up. I got the melamine board for my shirts and dresses.
I like the system, but I was not happy with the install. The people who came out here could have done a better job. They rushed it and didn't take time to be methodical. Everything else is great but the bottom portion. When you walk right into the closet and you look at the floor, you see the boards are going upward. They're okay at one end, but where they put in the boards against the wall with the shelves is sloppy. I paid a lot of money to have my baseboard upgraded, and they damaged it putting in their system. They just left it like that. Fix it! Don't make me get upset and make me chase you down.
I called them up to come back out and make it look normal. They didn't even want to deal with me. I had to call the lady that came over and helped us, the one who sold me the system. She was very pleasant. They would not have come, but she got them out here. It's fair, they just put caulking and left. That's it. I know this is not a perfect world, but do better, that's all I ask.

Closet World had a 40% sale, and so I chose them. When the designer first arrived, they had difficulty with parking. And so, they were a little bit late. But otherwise, they were pleasant and professional people.
We had installed it in a large closet, we had shelves on. There were two spaces in the same closet. On one side, we had shelves and hangers, and on the other side, we had mostly hangers with a little bit of drawers.
The person who did the installation was very professional. There was a small hiccup where the contract said that we were going to get soft-close drawers. And on the initial installation, it wasn't installed that way.
So, they scheduled a second installation date and fixed that up for us at no additional cost. We're very happy with the quality. It was definitely much better than the previous do-it-yourself installation that was there. And we definitely intend to enjoy the closet in its current state for at least a few years.
I would say that you definitely get what you pay for. The market rate for renovations is quite expensive these days, but the level of professionalism and quality that they delivered was exactly what I expected.
The soft-close drawers are my favorite, they’re very nice. We paid a little bit extra to get beveled edges on the shelves themselves, and it just looks and feels very nice.

We lived in another house in another city here in the Bay Area and we used Closet World there. When we moved in here, we had some other projects come up so we just reached out to them again. We had four little different projects done. We had some shelving in the garage and a closet done. We had a pantry done in the kitchen and a wine shelving unit in a closet.
The designers are really great and the installers are top-notch. They know their stuff and they do a great job. Compared to our other projects, the quality was equally as high. The installers took out some of the old shelving that the builder had put in and then also the closet. They took a little extra step and they patched the holes that were left from removing the old stuff, which was very nice. The product that they put in was great. I was really happy with it. We could actually really use the space how we really would like to. The shelves are adjustable and they’re a lot more stable. We're very pleased.
Closet World had a 50% off coupon and a little bit more on top of that. The designer said, "I'm gonna talk to the office about getting you a repeat client discount and stuff." Plus, there was some deferred financing through Wells Fargo. Closet World is very competitive in the industry. They really put forth what they're offering in terms of discounts plus deferred financing. It was really nice.

I’ve been thinking about updating my closets for 23 years, and something came across my phone. I picked up the phone and called Closet World. I’ve had California Closets before, in my husband’s office, about 20 years ago.
It’s very nice, though it was very expensive. I saw an advertisement with different discounts on different items, which caught my attention. I said “Okay, let’s go see what it’s like.”
It was absolutely wonderful. However, the poor guy kept getting interrupted every time. The first person I spoke with was a lovely lady. She showed me a sample of the closet, which was bigger than a standard closet, and how it could fit cabinets above my washer and dryer. She was wonderful.
He said, I can’t even do small ones. It's not going to work. I told him I didn’t think so either. Then he suggested putting in some nice shelving and showed it to me what it would look like. I had old boards up there before, so he basically recommended the same idea, just done much nicer and neater. I absolutely love it, and it works perfectly.
Then came the linen closet, a tall six- to eight-foot opening filled with wire racks. The bottom rack was two to three feet off the floor, and at 73, I couldn’t easily reach it anymore. So I decided to do it.
I had very deep drawers, 22 inches, the full depth of the closet. That’s exactly what I wanted. A big, thick, and deep door. I got four of them, and I love them. People see them and ask how I get this. It’s wonderful and the hardware is beautiful.
I’m sure some people would have been very upset, but everyone was nice. It wasn’t his fault, he was working with what he was given. My only thing is that, in the beginning, the woman who spent three hours at my house might have realized it wasn’t going to work based on what I was saying. It could’ve saved some time.
Everyone was very nice. Even though the install had a few bumps, I love it and would do it again. I'm considering doing the closet in my bedroom, it’s wall to wall, and I’d like to get rid of the mirrors. But that’s a 2026 project. I only do one project a year, and I’m done for 2025. I’ll definitely go back to Closet World.

I was looking for somebody to do storage units in my garage, and I had Closet World come out. The sales person was very helpful. I could tell she had experience. As far as the installation, the guys were here for about four hours. I am supposed to be getting a replacement door because there was a mark on one of the doors. I haven't heard anything back about that so far. Other than that, they did a good job. They were very professional. Overall, the product quality is really good. I like it. I've also purchased three more shelves. I'm very happy with the company so far.

My experience with Closet World has been great. They did a closet for me before and this time, they did my laundry room. For the first process, the designer had such a good eye. She can look at the horrible mess you’ve got and then she just designs something that makes everything fit.
The installers worked very fast and they got everything done. They were neat and didn’t leave a big mess. But I hope there was a little more organization. In terms of pricing, they always seem to have a sale on installation so I felt like it was a reasonable price.

One of my colleagues got a product from Closet World, and she asked me to check it out. She said there is a 50% off going on. That made me interested in them.
The installation was okay. They set a time to come and install the cabinet, but they did not tell us it would take five hours. I think Closet World outsourced the installation to a third party and left it to them for cost and all that. The third party optimized it and sent only one person. If more people had come, they could have finished the job faster.
We had plans to go out that day, but this guy turned up in the morning and took 5 hours to install the whole cabinet, so we were in a fix. Other than that, everything else was okay. I really liked the product and the salesman. The customer service was very professional. I don’t have any complaints.

The interactions with Closet World when they came to my home were great. They did a great job during installation. They were a little late, but I understand some jobs take a little longer. So I was patient and I didn't have an issue with that. I purchased a bed and my brother is the one that's actually using it. He hasn't had any complaints with it so far. The price was a little high, but I chose to do it.

Closet World is a good company to work with and everything went well. Their rep seemed very interested and motivated. The other companies that I talked to wouldn't even call me back. During the design phase, I was involved in the process, and here, they took a little too much time, but that's just me. I'm impatient. The installation process was efficient. It took two work days, four hours on day one and six hours on day two. Everything looked just exactly as I planned it. Now that I've utilized it a little bit, I realized that in my error and based upon recommendations of the representative, I think I would have had the shelves be deeper even if it required more loss of space.

I’m impressed with Closet World by their promptness and efficiency in getting the job done. They left the site clean, and everything met my expectations. The installation team was excellent.
The quality is so good. I’m having another cabinet installed next week on the same wall. We realized there's room for a 3-foot cabinet, so we’re gonna go and do that. I’m very impressed with how they put the metal band along the front of the shelves to prevent warping.

I scheduled an appointment with Closet World, and a sales representative came out. The visit seemed to be fine. She's a very big advocate. She had a couple of closets installed, went to work for them, and spent some time measuring everything up.
She also gave some options, and came back the next day to finalize the deal, with my girlfriend being there, so we could see everything together.
After 3 weeks, the installation began. It was done in one day. When they got finished, I was a little underwhelmed with the results. It wasn't what I envisioned and pictured. When I started looking at the paperwork more closely, there was no back wall, and I had these wire racks.
The installer said that when he takes those out, there's gonna be holes in the wall. Then I said it’s fine, but I'm thinking he's covering these up, so I don't really care.
I feel there's an option for a back wall, but we never discussed this. And it was never even brought as an option. I would absolutely have said that I want a laminate in the back to close it off to give it that finished look. So I spent the weekend trying to put one in myself.
I basically had to disassemble everything they did, put a wall behind it, and put it all back, which is one problem. The second problem was the paperwork. It has been marked as no problem with any electrical being in the way.
My light switch is on the left-hand side of the closet. When the installer went to put it in, they had brought the cabinet so far over that they disconnected my light switch and slid it off to the side by a few inches.
They tried to cut the plate that goes over to put it back over the top, but it's not mounted properly. It's like sitting at the side of the hole. It would fit fine if you had taken an inch off or two inches off one of the sections of the shelves.
But now I've got potentially a safety hazard because the light switch is sitting against the wall. It's not in the middle of the receptacle hole any longer. And there's no cover over it.
So I wanted to call them today because I just sent an email last night, telling them that I was disappointed with everything.
It seems like it's a good quality product. But not having a back wall behind it just doesn't look like a finished thing. And for $6,000, I don't feel like I got my money's worth out of it.

We wanted a closet organizer for our master bedroom, and we liked Closet World’s design the best. They also offered the most competitive price among the three estimates we received. During the initial appointment, the designer was very good and thorough.
The installation was good, but there were delays because we found out that there were mistakes made in the paperwork, and things got a little confusing and frustrating. I had to make over a dozen phone calls, but my designer was not helpful. She just kept saying it wasn’t anything she could help with since it was a different department, even though it was originally her mistake that led to the delay.
The product itself was good, but we did not get everything we had ordered. We also asked for a valet rod to be installed, which was not. When I reached out to my designer, she said it wasn’t her problem, she couldn’t get my money back, and that I would have to call. At that point, I was frustrated and dropped it. The work that was done was nice, but we wish we had received everything we paid for.

I got a small walk-in closet with some drawers and racks. The sales was okay. The installation was good too, except the installer brought the wrong material. I asked for shelves and they brought drawers. They were so much smaller than I anticipated, so I wasn't that happy about that. I said, "The guy who came out told me 12 inches." He was so focused on saving me money, but it really isn't practical to have 12-inch drawers. There's barely anything that can fit in them. I was a little disappointed that he was so focused on getting the sale. When I called and asked about the 16 to 20-inch drawers, it was gonna be a $1,200. I didn’t feel like having the installers come back, so I said, "Fine, just put them in." Other than that, everything else was good. I’m happy and I love my closet. The process was quick. I appreciate that.

Closet World has been around for a long time and we were looking at doing some stuff. It made more sense to have them do a built-in unit, so that's what we ended up doing. The experience was good. But when they do the measurements, just make sure that the measurements are right. That was really the only problem.
When the designer came out, she looked at the space that we wanted to put the unit in, and took measurements. The designer had asked us what we were looking for ahead of time. We told her what we were looking for and then she showed us some stuff in the booklet. We saw what was there and then we agreed upon what we were looking for. Then she did a full write-up, a drawing of what we had talked about, and presented it to us. It met what we were looking to do.
The turnaround time from the presentation to installation was two weeks. Then there was a hiccup on the measurements the first time and that delayed us a week. But in the end, we got the end product that we purchased. They were very proactive in getting everything resolved. It just took a week longer than we wanted.
Unfortunately, the measurements were off when the installers came out the first time. We had two outlets on the wall and it so happened that those outlets fell right on the edge of where the cabinets would be at. They had to make some adjustments and move the cabinet over. They basically had to redesign the cabinets to make them fit where the outlets were at. Otherwise, I'd have to move the outlets from where they were at in the wall and that's typically a little more difficult.
It's a little overpriced. But the finished product is nice. They're doing exactly what we want them to do, so that part's good. They're durable and a lot thicker than I was expecting. That's a plus. They're definitely a lot more heavy-duty than a regular cabinet would have been. The drawers are much thicker and more sturdy, which is good because I have a bunch of boys and they're rough on stuff. That's gonna make it last a bit longer.

Closet World’s prices seemed reasonable, and I got some nice closet space. I like it, but I have to be careful what I put on it. I use one of the compartments as a shelf to display items, and the other parts are closed off. The closet space is in the living room, but it's behind the closet door, so it makes it look like a wall.
I just moved back to my home. It was built in '72 and didn't have a lot of storage space, so I needed the work done. The lady who came out, Melissa, was very nice. That visit was very pleasant. The installation a couple of weeks after went fine. It worked with my schedule. It was pretty quick and fast, and it was done very professionally. The guy cleaned up pretty well.
Everyone was really nice. I would recommend Closet World.

I'm quite happy with how Closet World handled my closets. I spoke with a consultant who took measurements of all my closets and we had a set date. She told me about the financing and how I would be paying Closet World. So I was prepared for that. And the day the closets were supposed to arrive, they showed up and then the guy was very professional about installing them. Everything was arranged perfectly.
The thing that annoys me the most about working with contractors is when they don't make their appointments without calling. But Closet World was perfect in every respect. Their customer service was very good. And I love the quality of the closets.

Closet World came to us as an opportunity to get my wife her dream closet. The representative demoed the strength of the closet which I appreciated. My only issue is if the salesman is gonna sell us a closet and say they're gonna take the old one off and put the new one there, they should state that they don't paint. When the shelves were removed, the wall showed like it needed to be repainted. I would've bought paint ahead of time and taken care of it. It didn't take long to paint, but the installer was on a time limit and wouldn’t do it. By the time he got all the parts in the house, I did what I could as far as painting, which ended up working out for me.
But if it was my wife, I have a feeling she would have canceled it. It was just a communication gap. Their service was good, and they were professional. It was a little expensive at $20,000. But with the 50% discount, I ended up paying $12,000. I will call Closet World again because we're thinking of getting our closet in the garage done as well if they do that too. We haven't fully decided yet.

My wife loves the closet we got from Closet World. The people who came to do the project were very efficient. The price could have been a lot less, but we were satisfied with the end result.

Don’t use this company, I put a deposit of 1816.00 down, they were supposed to call the day before the install to let me know when they would be arriving. When I didn’t receive a call, I called them. Apparently I wasn’t scheduled for the install due to a manufacturing issue, but they couldn’t tell me what the problem was. I was also told that I was notified that previous Monday that there was a problem. I was never notified and when I finally received a call from the senior sales person, Alex ** the following Monday, he told me that my sales reps notes said I was called twice, which was not true. Alex did agree to refund my deposit, when I asked him how long that would take to go back on my credit card, he said 2-3 days that was on 4/21/25, today is Sunday 4/27/25 and I have yet to see the credit. Shame on you Closet World.

The design consult last that came to our home seemed friendly enough at first. She smelled like cigarettes and being a non-smoking household this was a bit of a turn off. We went over our design request, explaining that we wanted lots of drawer space. She spent over an hour putting a design together. To our surprise, when she presented the design there was only one set of shelves. She then provided a price for the design (which didn't match what we wanted) but she explained that we can add more cabinets and gave a rough idea of the price. Upon discussing the price, she called her boss (I assume) and a said if we put the 20% down we can lock in the current special, like they are giving us a great deal.
At this point, it was very "used car salesman" like. We were reluctant to put money down because the design wasn't what we wanted. She said, "We can always change things, but that has an unknown cost." When we weren't willing to commit to put the money down, she seemed annoyed. We asked her if she wanted to continue to rework the design but she was not interested and didn't want to spend any more time on it. Very disappointing experience and I would expect better service if you're expecting us to pay almost $10,000.

Be very be careful of what you approve with Closet World. Make sure you do your own measurements or understand the designer's verbiage to ensure that that's what you're looking for. This is my second experience with them. I had them do a master closet for me. This time, they did an entertainment wall unit. The end result was what I wanted. But to get to that was very unacceptable. The blame was on me, not on the misunderstanding of the decorator.
The designer was very knowledgeable but didn't really hear my concerns. When the initial install was done, it was incorrect. It was too small. There was a miscommunication between the both of us. But I explained to her what I needed and I based my acceptance on her knowledge.
The first time, they installed it completely but it was too small. I needed 16 inches wide. It was only 12 inches wide. So they had to come out and remeasure. They had to initiate another contract at my expense, unfortunately. They had to come in and reinstall wider panels and shelves. March 21st was my first installation. The final installation was the 4th of April. They even had the wrong panels. They had to stop the installation and reorder new panels and shelving to make the unit work. So it took three installation dates to complete my design. It wasn't a fun experience. I had to disconnect my internet three times because that's where all my cables were.
The gentleman that came was William. He was very sweet, compassionate, and understanding. He did his job as it was told, so he was perfectly fine. It was their installation department that I felt was a runaround, because I was told I'd be called back and I never got called back.
It was basically, "Well, why don't you try this?" "Well, hang your TV on the wall." I didn’t wanna hang my TV on the wall. I wanted to put my TV on my unit that I designed. I told the designer exactly what I needed and what needed to be on there. Yes, she measured the way she measured. Did I see how she was measuring? Yes. But what I needed was something different in length. But it was out-of-pocket for me again. It was another $1,600 that I had to pay for them to rectify miscommunication between myself and the knowledgeable of the designer.
Their prices are really expensive. I have four doors and that was gonna cost me $2,000 because it had glass. So I opted to take the doors without glass. I have a nephew who has a window and doors company and will do the glass for me for 100 bucks.
The compensation was unacceptable. They said because I signed the contract the first time, which was $4,900 and I accepted the install, there was no compensation for that. The second contract was almost $1,600 and the initial offer was $100. That's not fair. Finally, we came to some type of agreement and they are to give me $400 refund which I have yet to see. They should have given me a percentage of my entire order and make it worth my while to wanna come back. Will I ever go back? No.

Installation day was super good with Closet World. The crew was really experienced and definitely knew what they were doing. I just gave them the design copy and they just built everything. We’ve heard of Closet World for a long time and we basically already knew the quality was good, but we never actually had any closets from them in the past.
The person who came to give us the quote and design was very helpful and friendly, and she had a good knowledge of all the material. What we did was just adding storage units in the garage. They’re sturdy, I can put a lot of weight on them, and it’s done well. I really like it and the quality is good.
They’re a bit expensive, but they did a good job and I would highly recommend using Closet World.

My sister-in-law had used them before when she got her house. Closet World did a great job with them and with their closet. In fact, we need to get to two additional closets done now. The designer was fantastic. So one of the things that she did was she went through and she analyzed how much closet space we were using versus wasted space. Then she also talked with us and was very specific as far as what my needs were in the closet. And so, she broke it down. She really listened to what we wanted. She asked a lot of questions. She wasn't pushy about upgrades or anything like that. The installation team was just one young man. He took his time on it. There is one door that looks like had been damaged. Then he kind of puttied over it, or somebody puttied over it. And so we will need to have that door corrected, or it's gonna have to be replaced. Because you can visibly see where they tried to cover it up. So I don't know if it was at the manufacturing plants. We never noticed it until it was probably an hour or two after he had left.

The designers were very receptive, heard our needs, and designed from there. Then we tweaked it a bit, and they worked well with us. The installation was great. The installer came in and was very respectful of our property, removing his shoes and everything. He did a great job putting it all together. The price was reasonable and fair. I would recommend Closet World.
