Bold Moving is outstanding! They met every date they promised and they did everything that they committed to do for the exact price that was quoted. Additionally, everything was done with a smile and with tremendous care for our furniture and valuables. I would recommend them for all of these reasons and also because they provided packing, shipping, and assembly services for a very reasonable price. Lastly, I want to personally call out and thank the team that worked on our move. Thank you Ali, Abdul, Barry, Lenny, and Michael! You guys helped us to have the smoothest move ever with no drama, no damage, personal care, professionalism, timeliness, cleanliness, and supreme efficiency.

The Richmond based team did a great job. They were on time, friendly, and thorough. Ian was professional and helped provide guidance to his associates to ensure the job was done right. The two man crew that came to South Carolina, which were two of the guys that were in Florida is truly top notch. I was very happy to see those two pull up. What an incredible job they did. I had a great experience with this company. I have moved 20 times and they would be one of my top movers. They were courteous and went out of their way to help both in loading and unloading. They were timely and made the move easy.

Earlier this year, Bold Moving and Storage assisted us with our interstate move. Right from the start, Bill was professional and patient with all of my questions. Ian and his coworkers packed our furniture carefully and were quite polite in their conversations with us. Challenges arose with shutdowns in different states, but they were able to store my items, then coordinate the best time to deliver them. We appreciated their service and professionalism.

We contacted multiple companies and received multiple quotes. Bold Moving and Storage offered the best value and assured us that our move would be done without issue. Moving day came and they called prior to let us know that they were about an hour away. They showed up, went over all the details of the move (2 storage units and a townhouse) and the contents. They were very professional, careful and pleasant. They inventoried all our items, wrapped everything in blankets and plastic wrap and loaded carefully. We were moving from VA to FL, they arranged for delivery, again followed up with phone calls and text messages on their ETA and worked flawlessly to offload our items into the house and garage.

In short, what a fantastic experience. Crew was extremely conscientious, courteous, careful, and a bunch of other words beginning with "c". Seriously; Jaleel and crew were just outstanding. We spent the better part of two days together, and enjoyed every minute. Hoping they'll be able to be our delivery crew for our trip to New Hampshire!

Many moves and many different companies later, I researched movers for a last trouble free move and found Bold Moving and Storage (BMS). A 5 star rating backed by customer testimonies that told the real story about who and what BMS was really all about. The day of the move came, Ian, Troy, Leo and Demetrius arrived and that's when the real assets of BMS shined. I never saw a moving company take time to ensure everything is wrapped and protected before taking any item to the truck. Even moving items from inside my home out to the truck was done so very carefully as if they were moving the most delicate treasures. This was truly a testament to their work ethic and the company's dedication to their most valued resources, the customer.

Moving is inherently stressful and our crew went above and beyond to help us have a good experience. Our foreman, Ian, is an ace. He has a consistently positive attitude, attention to detail, and applies expertise gained from years of experience. We want to work with him again, with no hesitation. He is so wise and courteous, we’d trust him to raise our kids.

A wonderfully smooth move with a great team of guys! I was worried, initially, as we have some very heavy furniture and just a ton of books and glassware that had to be moved from a basement into a basement. The move took longer than expected, but I wasn't charged anything more than I'd been estimated and the guys enthusiastically went above and beyond expectations to see to it that we were satisfied. The quote was very reasonable. I would highly recommend Bold Moving to anyone with a pending move!!

We had a great experience. We went with Bold because Bill was super responsive. We had a full pack which the team handled like pros. Our professionals who helped unload were great, very careful with our stuff but moved quick, and worked together great as a team. We’ve had a lot of movers and this was one of the easiest because of the Bold team.

I was overall satisfied with my delivery and pickup. The only issues I had was they will not take your empty boxes and the inventory list could be better put to use. Other than that Bold Moving made my move from Virginia to Texas a lot less stressful.

I had the privilege of working with a top notch moving team from Bold Moving and Storage Company. We moved from the Atlanta area to Palm Coast, FL. The “A” Team was led by Ian, and included Ibi and Davonta. All three got right to work in Atlanta, loading our furniture, and did not stop until the last piece of furniture was unloaded two days later. (Yes it was a big move!) Not only were they courteous and professional, but it was a downright pleasure to interact with them! Three young professional men who worked extremely well together and knew what it took to get the job done. I highly recommend the company and if you’re lucky enough to get these three, then it’s icing on the cake!!

Recently hired Bold Moving & Storage for a move from NYC to VA. The team was very helpful in providing flexibility with our move scheduling and ensuring that our final quote was the price we would end up paying. Despite having a slightly higher quote than some of the other providers we contacted, Bold was a great choice for us since we did not have to worry about the quote changing, as we had read can be common with other providers. They were punctual, friendly, and very thorough in packing our furniture which we really appreciated. Having not done a long distance move previously, I found the Bold team to be very direct and great to work with. It was a comfort to know they weren't contracting the job out but rather that it was Bold employees conducting the move from start to finish. We had a great experience with them and would recommend them for sure.

Cross country move. Bold did a fine job for our move. I was skeptical going into a big move having read plenty of bad reviews about most players in this space. I was very pleasantly surprised - the crew was professional, worked hard, and was courteous, adjusting schedules and what got packed when to suit our family’s needs. They delivered faster than other companies said could be done and were prompt and responsive. I’d recommended them easily.

My husband and I have had a great experience with Bold. From the first phone call consultation with Josh, to the crew who came to pack us up and then the final two men who delivered our belongings, we were given 5 star service. Josh was able to give us a true transparent cost based on an inventory of all our personal items and furniture. The pricing was truly impossible to beat as we obtained 3 other quotes for the exact same service. If that wasn’t too good to be true, all the men who came to help were very professional and worked long hard hours (we even had to tell the first crew to shut it down at 10pm!). All our belongings were taken care of and nothing was damaged or out of place. The men who came to deliver our items even helped my husband assemble the TVs before they left! We can’t say enough good things about this company. Our expectations were exceeded.

After weeks of researching long distance moving companies online I was so afraid to book and was considering doing the move myself with my husband....until I found Bold Moving and Storage. Nico and his crew are fantastic. They were meticulous and worked really fast. They were careful with my dogs and asked when they were not sure of anything. They were polite and took care of my belongings. When I missed items they were patient with me and packed the items. I can highly recommend them.

I recently accepted a job in Texas and had to relocate from NJ. My company had given me a name of a mover they used, but I wanted to compare as I had no idea what this would cost. I googled consumer affairs and Bold Moving and Storage came up and immediately reached out. Spoke to Bill the owner, who was very pleasant explained the process in detail and gave me a quote much cheaper than the first company. He was very accurate! I agreed and booked them for the move. Moving day came and I must say, I have never seen such a professional, well mannered, pleasant crew. They arrived promptly at scheduled time.

I hired these guys based on good reviews, and I really wanted to like them, but....unfortunately I have mostly negative things to say. The positive first: 1. Arrived basically as planned at both origin and destination. 2. Packers and unpackers were courteous enough. The negative:

I had a full house that was loaded and unloaded by the professional people. The team was so great to work with and would recommend them to everyone moving. The most honest team to work with, they went above and beyond to help us.

The moving experience we had was great. Dealing with one person to set up and coordinate things made the moving go very smoothly. Response to questions was fast. I have had to move multiple times and this is the only time where the experience was good. The quotes were accurate and the information I was given was realistic. Would definitely recommend the company and if I ever need to move again, I will be calling BOLD Moving and Storage!

A couple months ago I moved from Washington DC to the Kansas City area. I found the whole process to be excellent, from getting a quote to scheduling a date, to the actual move. Communication was always very clear and responses were prompt. There was one hiccup in moving in where an existing light fixture in the new home was cracked. We are currently working through that though, and the company has been very reasonable to work with to come to resolution. I definitely recommend hiring these folks for your next move.

Hired Bold Moving and Storage to transport our belongings from California to Texas. Joshua ** was our contact person. He said all the right things in the beginning and I felt comfortable hiring them. Once the time got closer to the actual move he disappeared. My furniture arrived with not much damage but I was told by Joshua that he would be "with me all the way" and that I did not need to worry and to call him any time. He did not return phone calls and did not return any emails once the furniture was picked up. So what could have turned out being a good experience did not. Bold Moving and Storage may be a good company but my experience would lead me to not recommend them.

I need to update my review. Bold Moving & Storage reached out today to express their displeasure with my moving experience and offered to replace the damaged items I was concerned with. Josh and Bill, the two owners of the company took time out of their day to listen to my experience and see how they could help and improve the experience for their other customers. Although moving across the country can be scary, and often times things go wrong, having two owners care about your individual case is a huge benefit of using Bold Moving and Storage.

I have had a few issues with this company. I will not go into detail until they have an opportunity to fully respond. Unfortunately, texts and phone calls seem to not be answered, or just ignored. I initially contacted Kevin and explained the problems I'd experienced. He asked me to send him and email with pictures, which I did. I received an email from him directing me to a Claims Website. I've tried contacting Kevin by text and phone call looking for additional information. No response.

BOLD is the best company I could have chosen for my move. They responded immediately, accurately and patiently to my many questions and concerns. They built custom crates for my large, easily-damaged items and carefully packed everything from antique dishes and furniture to odd-sized, fragile collectibles. The team was amazing, working fast, efficiently, and as long as it took to do everything right. Pickup and delivery dates were exactly as promised. I was really worried moving would be a nightmare but with BOLD it I could actually relax. I highly recommend them.

This moving company is HORRIBLE! I will detail everything below, but in summary, they lie, they break things, they don’t listen, they only move half your stuff, they don’t admit fault, they leave your doors and windows unlocked, they don’t communicate with you, they are a horrible moving company. I am attaching photos of the stuff they left at the first house and the stuff they broke at the second house.

The mover who picked up my move had a lot of issues that made the move more difficult, in the end, the owners have reached out and are working to make it right. They have apologized for the issues and have agreed to compensate me $800 dollars. Patrick the mover who delivered my belongings was incredible. He was caring and considerate, he went above and beyond to make sure things were done right. If you have a move I would request Patrick and ROC these two guys are excellent.

My experience with Bold Moving was the first time having movers do everything. They took excellent care to wrap everything to prevent damage. Darrell and his crew worked quickly and professionally the whole time. Joshua also was very helpful arranging the move. He was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had. I would use Bold again.

I was looking for a mover for a complete household move from NC to Missouri. I went through the usual suspects of national carrier / brokers before coming across Bold Moving & Storage. Their reviews were consistently outstanding. Spoke to their senior relocation coordinator, Joshua, and was immediately impressed with his honesty, attitude, and commitment to personalized customer service. Decided to give the smaller firm a chance and was not disappointed.

This is an unbiased review of my experience with BMS (Bold Moving and Storage). To me my move seemed complicated, but after getting bombarded from movers with offers I went with BMS. The people I talked to were professional and flexible. I had your normal household items to move, but several high-value items like a motorcycle and four 4K TVs. The movers showed up on time on the date schedule and came ready to work. The on the ground movers took extra care with all my items. They worked hard and were highly professional. Everything with my move was explained up front and simple.

BMS was full service from start to finish for a cross-country haul that was not a straightforward request. They worked with us and modified their insurance to meet our building’s excessive requirements in New York, communicated during the entire trip from NY to CA then stayed late to finish the job in CA after a fire evacuation delayed the move for a few hours. All the owners, Bill, Justin, Dennis and Josh, were a pleasure to work and speak with and their employees who helped the move were professional and courteous. Our items, including a large collection of glassware and fine art, arrived intact and safely secured, we only had one casualty of a champagne flute (which they offered to replace). It was dreading this move but it was a breeze. Thanks to the entire BMS team.

I am so impressed with the communication with Bold Moving and Storage and our coordinator Josh. We just finished up the full packup and departure of our furniture to Ohio and I am blown away with the care and professional manner it was handled. I didn't expect to sing the praises of a moving company because you hear such horrific stories but this couldnt have been any better. The team is employed by BOLD and not just farmed out to others. They were so hardworking and packed everything with great care. Kudos to Spencer, Ian and Alejandro. Anxiously awaiting delivery to our new house mid June. They give you 30 days free storage which was a plus to us.

The booking team at Bold Moving and Storage was responsive and provided a reasonably-priced moving service from Durham to Minneapolis, including storage for 60 days while I'm transitioning locations. The moving team was on-time and professional. I'd recommend to a friend!

The entire experience with Bold Moving was incredible. They showed up on time and actually worked overnight at their facility to get my furniture on the truck leaving for Florida. My furniture arrived before I did, and that worked out perfectly for me since I had family here to receive it. In the whole move only one small cabinet was damaged and the foreman unloading the truck immediately took a picture to use as training material. They offered to allow me to make a claim but frankly the piece was not worth filling on. I have no hesitation at all in recommending this company. Hopefully this is my last move, but if I ever do it again it would be with this company.

Great service! Moving from Northern Virginia to Charlotte, NC. Was able to have delivery scheduled same day as move in. Nothing was lost, my wife's china made it all in one piece! No broken dishes. Only 1 item was damaged in the move and I am currently working with the claims processes to rectify. Movers were professional and made the whole experience a breeze.

BOLD Moving and Storage moved my furniture and household items, which had been in storage for 15 years, in an outstanding manner. They were extremely professional and handled my possessions with care. They were most patient with me upon delivery and moved furniture in my house when I was unsure of where items should go.

From start to finish the move was by far the best cross country move I've experienced thanks to these wonderful people. There were 5 guys that came to load our home. I asked for extra special care due to numerous antiques and family heirlooms that I simply could not transport myself. All of the guys did a complete walkthrough before any work was done which assured me that they were all on the same page.

We were relocating from Virginia Beach to Florida and shopping for a moving company. My Wife wanted one of the well know large companies and was reluctant to use such a small and little known company. However, we were pleasantly surprised. Bold Moving and Storage showed up on time and did the best wrapping and packing job I'd seen in my 30 years of moving in the military. The owners were onsite, professional and effective. They wrapped things that I'd never seen wrapped before and placed everything in their 30 day free storage.

Bold Moving and Storage was a great choice for us. The deciding factor to use Bold was the fact that one of the owners came 2.5 hours away to look at our house contents and price our job. They were very flexible on dates and changed dates twice. The wrapping of furniture was way beyond the norm which was very important to us. At one time I asked the movers if they got paid by the number of rolls of tape they used. The crewmen were very courteous, polite and respectful. It was the best experience we’ve ever had with a moving company and they made the move so much easier. There was never a hitch throughout the whole move no matter what we asked of them. We would recommend BMS to anyone and everyone based on the experience we had with them!

Move VA to FL - We moved on short notice and our needs for tight scheduling were met in a polite and professional manner by everyone from the owners through the front staff to the finance department and all of the people we encountered. If I move again I will call them first with the assurance of a positive experience.

I liked the knowledge and the way the salesperson from Bold Moving and Storage spoke to me. Getting a quote and scheduling the move was easy. The crew that helped me was terrific. I got a quote from quite a few moving companies, but Bo from Bold Moving and Storage kept on coming back to me and he gave me a very good quote. He sounded as if the company was very caring. It was nice to hear they were not a big company, that they were still trying to make a name for themselves. They were in Richmond and they were close. I was in Newport News, so I decided to go with them. They all scheduled the move, but I had to move it a bit earlier or a bit later and the rep was very flexible around the date because I didn’t know when we would close on the house. I appreciated that. They rescheduled the move and they called me the day before in the morning that they came. The move was from Newport News to Acworth, Georgia.

After a horrific long-distance moving experience with another company, I was very reluctant to hire another company for another move. However, after speaking several times with Bold, including sharing my past experience, I was somehow convinced that this would not result in the same debacle. And, I was right. Bold honored its commitments, and then some. Even though my final truck volume was more than originally estimated, they did not charge for the overage. And, most importantly, all of my items arrived the first day of the delivery window. What's more, Sr, Manager, Mr. Joshua ** ensured complete, start-to-finish service by personally showing up at delivery, directing and helping the unload. In short, Great Job Bold!!! They will be my only call when it comes time for my next long-distance move.

From start to finish these guys were great to work with. Josh was informative and friendly on the phone, even helped me save money where he could. The moving crew showed up on time, I only called to check in once. They were all friendly and moved fast. All of my items were checked, covered, marked, and an inventory list was filled out. They made it to the destination in one day, nothing had to be stored. All my furniture arrived without anything being damaged. Overall the process went smooth and I wasn't surprised by any hidden fees.

Bold Moving and Storage was the most persistent moving company when it comes to their communications via email and returning phone calls. Everything was on point from the beginning. I was a little hesitant because it’s an online company but I did a little research and found that they had an actual business license number in the state of Virginia. I moved from Washington, D.C. to Tampa, Florida. Their crew was very productive. When they got to the house, there was no funny business and the numbers didn’t change. They packed up the house and the move went well. We had one broken item, and we’re now in the process with them to try and get coverage for it. Other than that, the experience was very straightforward and good.

We were moving about 200 miles. I made an internet inquiry and then I got called by several companies. It was a two-bedroom apartment and I explained the size in square feet. They gave me a price based on that explanation and they figured I had so many boxes. I wasn’t crazy about that and I wasn’t really comfortable with getting an estimate based on the fact that they said they would bring this size truck when they haven’t seen everything. So, I expressed that to Bold Moving and Storage, and during one of their moves, they were in the area and they sent somebody over to take a look. I was told I was fine, and that I was within what they thought they were gonna be dealing with. I had several estimates, and Bold Moving and Storage had the better estimate. I also had a better feeling with the phone call that I had with their rep, so I went with them.

Bold Moving and Storage was the first one that answered my call and they were reasonable. When I called other people, they were over the top. So I went with Bold Moving and Storage. However, the quote changed once the product was already picked up and on its way down here. We never knew what state it was being kept in but when push came to shove, it didn't matter as long as it got here when we needed it. Most of the people who did the moving for my daughter were very polite. The gentleman who owns the company got a little terse with me and then when he backed off, he became much easier to deal with. We thought that we have paid the full amount but when the guys got down here, there was this extra money. My husband travels, and so, they were dealing with him in one state, me in another one, and my daughter in another state, so it wasn't very easy.
