I'm perfectly satisfied with American Standard. I've always known them to be a very reputable company, and over the years, I've bought their bathroom fixtures. We recently did a shower replacement and the sales rep who came was very knowledgeable and nice. He explained everything very clearly. As for the installation, the communications were great. They told us when they were coming. The three men who came were very polite and professional. They immediately covered up my hardwood floors, which was the path from the front door to the master bath, so as not to track or scratch. They worked quickly and efficiently and did a good job cleaning up after themselves.
I love the work that was done. The walls of the shower is a solid finish, and it's beautiful. It looks almost like a granite or a quartz countertop. The shower is lovely to look at. It's very simple and has clean lines. It's also easy to clean. It has taken out the stress of cleaning grout that molds. It's so clean-looking and it stays that way all the time.

As far as style and colors, American Standard had exactly what I wanted. The other companies had some, but not all. American Standard had everything and I was very happy with my salesman. He was very nice and informative, and he didn't try to give me crap. He told me what he could do for me and what the price was gonna be. When the installers came in, there were no issues at all. They done a fine job and didn't play games. They cleaned up nice afterwards. It was not a bad experience in any way at all. My new shower hasn't been in 60 days yet, but we absolutely love it. American Standard had it installed when they said it was gonna be installed. It looks like what we wanted it to look, and it operates beautifully. From the ugly thing we had to what American Standard put in for me, I absolutely couldn't be happier.

The sales guy was very helpful, and friendly. He was also very professional. Two people came out for the installation and it took about three days. One day, they took down everything, and the one day, they put up everything. On the third day, they did the finishing. It looks great. We like the convenience of getting in.

I liked what American Standard was offering and the price. I got the shower installed in the first part of August. I got a walk-in shower. The installation took a couple of days. It was a-father-and-a-son team, and they were really nice. They came on a Monday and a Tuesday. The dad was going on a cruise Wednesday. So, they stayed late to get it finished up in the two days. They did a really nice job. Yesterday, I had one of the repair guys come. The seat had a tear in it. So, I've called the number for call service, and they sent the seat to me. Yesterday, the gentleman put it in. The knob on the shower attachment had come loose, and he fixed that for me.
As far as the product, the walk-in part is the greatest feature. I like the safety bars, too. I'd recommend American Standard. Not everybody can afford it. I'm lucky to be able to afford to be able to get it. I did procrastinate a few years until I finally decided to do it. I'm very satisfied. I like that they guarantee their parts for life. All of those makes me happy too. I feel a lot safer taking a shower now. I don't feel like I have to worry about getting in and out. It's been really easy for me.

I purchased a new shower. I originally ordered the parts in April, but there was some mix-up. It took quite a while to get it done. But they did a good job. The installers were great.

We had a couple of estimates and liked what we saw at American Standard. The rep was thorough. She told us everything that was included and how the work would be done. The installers came late in the day the day before the installation and did a demo. Then they came back the next morning, got right busy putting in the new shower and were finished by 6:00 on the same day. I'm satisfied with the work that they did. The shower is much easier to get in and out to use and it's prettier. I also like the spaciousness and the handheld shower feature.

We're four months in to the remodel and it's been wonderful. Everybody was great and everything went smoothly. I expected a little different because they said they were going to build it to size and just put in there but they brought in panels that they had to cut. But they still did a wonderful job and it works wonderfully well so I'm happy. I love my bathroom especially the big shower and the big, thick doors. They also put in a seat, the shower bars that I need and the additional shower head that I can take down and use.

My mom who's 92 years old came to live with us and she could not get into a bathtub. I heard about American Standard through the AARP magazine and by searching on the internet. The sales rep was absolutely fantastic and explained it very well. They couldn't have sent me somebody better. Then, it took the installers the entire day to do the installation and they were very professional. They didn't stop working. There were a few nicks here and there but we plan on refinishing up the entire bathroom, modernized. I highly recommend them.

American Standard is very professional and they did a really good job. I'm very pleased with it. Installation was fast and easy. They came in and did what they had to do. They had questions about putting stuff in there like the shelving or the shower or how we wanted it set up. We just had new flooring put in, too. So, the baseboard didn't match up with how they were doing the showers. So, they asked us how we wanted to work that and extended it out on the backing so it matched up. They communicated out here all the time on different things or how it was gonna sit in there or how everything worked and how it went around the windows because we got new windows, too. Since the installation, I like the convenience for me with my knees and being able to get in and out of the shower.

The sales rep was very thorough with his description of what they offered. The visual went along with everything that he said. He was upfront with everything. It was not a high-pressured demonstration. The installers arrived in a timely fashion. They started work immediately. There was no delay. They cleaned up as they went through. If I had any questions during the install, they answered them. They were efficient. I didn't see any problems that they ran into during install. They were easy to interact with if I needed to. They didn't roam throughout the house. They stayed in their working area. If they needed to go out to their truck, they did. I'm satisfied with the quality of work completed. It's what I wanted and picked, and it's what I expected and they delivered. I did a full shower remodel with replacing of the shower head and the controls. It's easier in cleaning and to access.

The guy that came out initially was very thorough and pleasant. He was a nice guy. The installers did a very good job as well. They ripped out all the old stuff and put in the new stuff and, again, they were very pleasant. The quality of work was excellent. We got the walk-in shower with glass doors and it's a good product. It's easy access and works well.

American Standard's rep showed his product. He pointed out some things, because we are an older couple, that I wanted to have versus what he suggested. We went with his suggestion. He was very polite and punctual. I wanted a door because shower curtains have a tendency to blow out or in when taking a shower. He suggested going with just the 2-inch tub because of my husband's mobility issues. That was why we had to redo our bathroom. And in case we would have to be placed in a wheelchair with the shower doors, we would not be able to do that.
American Standard called. We said, “We'll take you whenever.” The installation people were backed up. So, it took us three weeks before they got here. But the whole process, from the time the salesperson was here to the time my bathroom was completed, was less than 30 days. The three young gentlemen that came were punctual, clean, and mindful of my house. They did an excellent job. Every time they would put something or do something, they would call us in. “Is this okay? Does this look okay?” They were very good.
The pan is the only thing that I'm disappointed in. We were told it would be a 2-inch pan to walk in. If you look across, it is a 2-inch pan. But it's slanted on the inside, which I understand, for water. But when your shower curtain hangs in, you only have an eighth of an inch. The shower curtain is in the tub on the back side. In the front where the drain is, it may be a half an inch. American Standard sells it as a 2-inch walk-in pan. But when you have a shower curtain, and that was what I was afraid of, the shower curtain with the air conditioner blowing sways.
My husband has mobility issues. There's a chair that got put in there. We had it mounted. I had to help the issue of the shower curtain not blowing in on him. I got large washers with double-face tape, and put on the shower curtain on the liner to hold it down. I put up a second temporary rod. I have a fall shower curtain with leaves on it. I do that for the holidays. That works for me. But some other couples, it may not work.
I like that our bathroom was custom fitted. I have a handheld one. Mine is nickel brass. They put a bar in the back for my chair. I asked for an extra shelving in each corner. They gave it to me. We asked for a bar to exit the shower. They put that in. Those are what I love about it. It makes our life 110% easier. At the point where we had the tub, my husband used a stool to get into the tub. We had a portable seat in there for him to shower. I got to the point to where I was afraid when he came out, because he has to use two canes, that he would slip coming out using that stool.

When we were looking to do the bathroom, American Standard was one of the organizations that popped up. I had four people come in and give me quotes and American Standard was not only within what our budget was, but we we also liked what they had. American Standard's rep was the most direct and upfront, Instead of telling us a story about their company, he told us exactly what each package was and we made a decision from there. We signed the agreement and three weeks later, they did the install. They were here about 8:00 in the morning and were pulling out of the driveway before 1:00. They did a nice job.
We bought their value package - standard white walls with shower base and showerhead. We added a grab bar for inside the shower and two corner shelves to the shower as well. Everything works fine. There are no leaks and everything is just as they described it. American Standard told us what they were gonna do and they did it.

I got a walk-in tub six month ago with American Standard. I like the price. It's wide open and they offered a lot of different options. The installation took one day and I'm 100% satisfied with the work that was done. The tub is very nice.

Products are fine. It’s the installers. What a joke…. They don’t know what they are doing and the boss was never there. 12 hours and very little done. My father-in-law is 93 and after 12 hours lost patience and kicked everyone out. What a disgrace they were. An old man trying to get a shower instead of using an old tub so he wouldn’t fall. Make sure the ones you hire are professionals….Not just those saying they can do the job.

The two young men who did the work were very nice. They got here 8 o'clock that first morning, did what they had to do and left around 5 o'clock. On the second day, they came in, finished up and told me I could use the shower the next day. They didn't leave any mess for me to clean up. It was very nice work. I've already told my cousin that American Standard did my walk-in shower and the quality of work that they did. I was very satisfied. I like the showerhead and the bars. I can hold on and turn around holding those bars. I'm more confident now because I can walk into the shower. I don't have to step up.

The salesperson and the people who did the remodeling talked us through whatever they were going to do, and they were respectful. We don't have any complaints at all. They were perfect, and we were really pleased with them. We are so pleased with our bathrooms too. We did two walk-in showers with a seat, and we love them. We're elderly, and they make us feel safer. They're beautiful too. They're definitely beautiful additions to our home. One of the things I didn't realize was it would be in our budget range, so once we saw that we could handle it, that made me feel so much better. We're definitely gonna be recommending American Standard to other people, and hopefully, soon, we can do that.

We were looking to do some remodeling in our home and the salesman from American Standard was very convincing. So, we remodeled our master bathroom thru them. The two guys who came out for the installation were very professional and they did their work completely. For the most part, they were very conscious of cleaning up after themselves. American Standard's customer service was also very good and their price was fair.

There are many local contractors and although they gave me similar estimates, I didn't know their history. Even if I have to pay a little more, I'd like to have somebody well-known and has been in the business a long time, that I can rely on if I have a problem and that’s gonna be here 15 years from now. Nothing is cheap nowadays but I want to feel secure as much as I can that if I have a problem, they're gonna respond.
I got a small bathroom stall and then, American Standard was gonna install the other one. One's already done and the bigger one’s gonna be started this Friday. They were supposed to do it sooner, but they informed me they were backed up with so much work. So the installer called and we rearranged another day. Problems can come but as long as there's communication, that's what makes the difference. The customer service reps answered my questions, which was all I asked for. It didn't take them long. The test of how good a business you have or your integrity is what you do when you have a problem, how you handle it and how you respond. And I'm satisfied.

I had a scheduled appointment for my mom to get a quote for a remodel on her bathroom TWICE. Each time no one called to let me know the appointment was cancelled. The first time the rep was very apologetic and told me she didn't know why the appointment was cancelled. So I rescheduled the appointment again and the exact same thing happened. No call No show! We are taking off work to be home with my mom to help her make the decision on what she wanted for her walk in shower. Again the rep told me, "Sorry. It's cancelled and I don't know why," and proceeds to ask me if I would like to schedule a third time! Are you serious...I was adamant in finding out why are they not calling or showing up when we have a scheduled appointments!! She put me on hold and finally come back to tell me the appointment was cancelled because it was going to take the driver more than 2 1/2 hours to get to my mom's house...
I told her a call would have been nice to let us know. And why don't the driver know this before the appointment is made. The rep says the scheduler should have looked at the appointments closer before scheduling. I asked if there was a supervisor or someone I could talk to and she says no and proceeds to tell me she can call me when there is someone that will be in my area. I have never heard of such. I was so excited to make this appointment for my mom because this is something she really needs as she was excited to have the appointment and new walk-in shower. Very unprofessional customer service. Please do not tell customer you service their area, make the appointment and then do not show up or call. Not once but twice. I do not recommend.

We met with a salesperson in October, 2022 and decided on a walk in shower kit with a total of $19,000. We put $2000 down but didn't need the shower until February, 2023 due to company coming to visit from Alaska. We stressed how important it was to have it completed by March 2023 so we would have a shower in our master bath so we wouldn't have to all use one shower downstairs when our company was here.
In February of 2023, a crew of 2 contractors came and took out the old tub. They never came back so we were to get another crew. As it turns out we found out these guys were contracted from outside of American Standard. They didn't work for American standard. Also no one else ever came back and by the time I complained and reiterated the importance of meeting our deadline date of March, 2023 it was too late. We were paying $19,000 for the quickness of the job which never happened. We also called the salesperson to complain and then I called the corporate office in Texas. They offered us a $300 refund! I told them don't bother to come back. Then we also found out all of the shower items and glass doors were all discontinued! They don't tell you that when they're selling it to you. If you have time it is in your best interest to find a local contractor who can build a nicer shower.

Had our fiberglass tub/shower taken out and replaced with a walk in shower. Was supposed to take one day but it took 2 ea 9 hour days of work plus a 2 hour follow up on the 3rd day. Looks great and works well. Seems overly expensive for what we got. The showerhead only allows 1 1/2 gallons of water per minute. I can hardly wash the shaving cream off of my razor. I asked for an adjustment for increased pressure and was denied. I also found that the installation crew had unplugged my refrigerator freezer to charge their tools and left it unplugged. There were other plugs available. I lost $30 worth of food. Could have been $200. I texted the manager but got no reply. I am surprised American Standard did not even solicit a review. Marshall

I purchased a shower in April. They came and measured and we discussed the sides, the doors, and so forth. The sales rep was very nice and he came several times to measure and check. Somebody had measured wrong and they had to measure and redo it, though. Then, when the two installers finally got around to doing the installation, they did a fantastic job. But there was a strip on the door that peeled off and the repair guy came, measured it, and said they'd have to order the part. It came about two weeks ago and it's sitting in my bathtub but nobody has come back to install it. Other than that, I'm well pleased and I would recommend American Standard.

A very knowledgeable man came out and sat with us at the table and went over all the options and financing. It was a little bit overwhelming at first because there were so many options. We could do it this way and this way, and then we looked at the tile. We also looked at the floor of the shower and the hardware that goes with it. But the man had all the samples and showed them to us. He was a nice man. The installation went smoothly. The installers came in and out of the house to do their thing. They were quiet and didn't track everything in when they left. They cleaned everything up and it was like they were never there. It took two days. We had a toilet replaced and on the first day, the new toilet was in the living room for a few hours. But it was not disruptive.
We had a tub converted to a walk-in shower and we got the rain showerhead that doesn't detach. The lip was 1 inch, to prevent the water from coming out. My husband is getting up in age and we wanted that for safety reasons. So, we also had a grab bar installed and a couple of corner shelves to hold soap and shampoo. It fit into the current spot so they didn't have to do anything with the walls. The walk-in shower is as large as a tub because it's a very small full bathroom. I’m very satisfied with everything that American Standard did, including the pricing, which is important to a lot of people. It was a great price, especially when they came in less than what they originally told us it was gonna be.

A rep with American Standard came, looked at our bathtub and told us what they could do. We replaced the bathtub with a shower and the installation was good. They cleaned up everything. We enjoy our shower. It's good. It has a lifetime warranty as well.

I had a good experience, from the salesman who was very honest and knowledgeable down to the workers that installed our walk-in shower. They were wonderful. The guys that did the install said they lived in Slidell, Louisiana, but they got the job done in less than a day. Everything's great, and we're very well pleased.

We have our tub converted into a walk in shower Oct 2023, I have been speaking with customer service concerning black dots around the inside boarders. 1st they tried telling me different was to clean the areas. 1st of all we have a professional house cleaner who has tried everything. Including what they suggested. I called customer service again, after being on hold for 15 minutes my call was disconnected. Completely concerned and dissatisfied with how this is is being handled. I've requested service during both calls... For the price and their guarantee, they are not holding up their end of the deal. Thinking of getting our lawyer involved next week. Concerned customer.

American Standard's rep was friendly and professional. Gave us different options and answered all our questions. American Standard converted a bathtub. They took it out and converted the space to a walk-in shower. I liked the design and the price. We're very satisfied. And we liked the installer very much.

The installation went smoothly but the remodeling was pricey. I will not recommend anybody to get one if they're gonna have to pay $20,000. It shouldn't cost that much. I didn't buy a Ferrari of showers. It works like any other shower that I had before. You open the valve and water comes out.

I bought a walk-in tub and a bidet from American Standard and the quality has been good. The contractor took the other tub out and put the new one in. They also put the commode out and put the bidet in. They left the place clean and show you how to operate everything. They did a fine job and I'm satisfied. It was a good experience.

Called to set up an estimate. After spending a brisk 15 min on the phone with a rep I find out that I must be present for the estimate. I am not allowed to have someone else there. Are they kidding me? I have a weekend home. Unless they can guarantee to have someone at my place on a Sat not before 3pm then that’s not happening. Why so strict? To take measurements? They obviously want to sit down and give me the whole sales pitch and then I’ll find out it’s 5k I’m sure if I’m lucky.

Somebody called me from American Standard Bathroom Remodeling, and then they set me up in an appointment, and then somebody came out. The appointment was fairly quick, too. The person who came out told us about their products and brought samples, and measured the bathroom and gave us the price. He had a slide show on the computer and explained everything as it was going. He even stepped outside so we could talk about it. Then we decided there on the spot that we were gonna go with them.
Installation went well. We had a scheduled date. We got a phone call early from the installer and he asked if he could come early because he was in Pensacola working and was at a stand still with that job. So, he wanted to come and start us early and then he would go back to Pensacola and then come back to finish us. We agreed to that. They came and they worked really hard. We have one of those narrow, rectangle windows on the wall. We had to special order everything because they're bigger. When he went to cut it, he broke the wall.
There was a little lack of communication because the way we understood it was that he was gonna go back to Pensacola, pick up a wall because they had extra in stock, and he'd come back and finish the job within that week. So we were like, "Okay, no problem. We understand, things happen." They could have been honest with us that they had to order another wall. It was two weeks before they came back and finished the job. The installers were hardworking and great but there was that small lack of communication there. Luckily, we had another bathroom to use. We were just sitting here wondering what was going on because I was calling the office and nobody gave me a clear answer.
Finally, they said, "Oh, they had to reorder the wall." Why didn't somebody tell me that. I could have understood that instead of sitting here calling multiple times and thinking they're just not coming back. But overall, the workers did a great job on it and everything works fine and it's beautiful. I like the combination of a rain head and the handheld. I like that it's big enough because I can put a shower chair in it. They added hand bars to it as well. We had them just do the walk-in shower. We have a lifetime warranty on it. So, if anything happens, they'll come back and fix it.

We had a walk-in shower put in. So far, we like the quality of the shower. The ordering process was a lot faster than I expected, too. The installers were good as well. However, it was a little expensive. But it's worth it and we're happy with it.

American Standard did an outstanding job. Their guy came out here at the new house where we were putting in the walk-in shower. He had everything together and told us what to do and what not to do. He said we were going to like this color better even though the other one looks better in the sample. He said when it was all together, it would be too busy. Everything he said was accurate and he was about $2,000 cheaper than Jacuzzi who we had a nightmare with. The installation was perfect, too. The guys were wonderful and very appreciative. They had to cut a hole in the ceiling and asked if it was all right for them to do that. In order to get it into the bathroom, they had to cut a hole in the ceiling to bring an angle, the wall panel in. They said they'd have it patched but I told them that they didn't have to. My guy was there patching stuff galore. So, we patched the wall and had no problem.
Right now, I need to get ahold of them because the water pressure is not strong enough and I don't know how to change it. But I told their salesman that if somebody is in our area and wants to know about American Standard showers, they can just come on over. I'll give them cup of coffee and I'll show him the shower.

We were impressed with American Standard. The salesperson seemed to know what he was talking about. He understood what we wanted and met our needs. And we decided that rather than going with other people, we were comfortable with him. The installation crew was very good. They were very concerned to make sure that everything was done neatly and that they kept the house in good shape. We were very happy with them. We had a combo bath/shower taken out, and a walk-in shower put in its place. The craftsmanship seems very good and we're very happy with it. I would highly recommend American Standard.

They gave me choices to pick from and what they would cost but I was surprised about the cost. I didn't realize that a new American Standard shower stall would cost that much. But when I started to ask around, people said when you do a bathroom, it's $80,000 'cause you get a new toilet, new tub, new vanity, and floor. Mine was $16,600. The salesman who came and sold me on the product told me if I felt that it was overpriced, I could call and cancel before a specific date.
They showed up on time for the installation. They ripped out the old shower stall and put a brand-new wall and a tub. I had one issue where you could pull the support rail out and the wall went in and out. The screw wasn't put in long enough to catch the 2x4 behind the wall. The owner of the company that did the installation was a good guy. I called him about the support and he had the guy come back the same day to tighten it up.

I like the easy in and out of the tub. Everything's good but when they come to the house, somebody should speak fluent English. That was quite the barrier. Also, they finished in three days and there were long breaks.

I replaced my tub with a shower. They had to tear all the tiles off the wall and it took them two days. They were good. They laid tarps down on the carpet so it didn't get all dirty. They also had a machine with them that sucked up dust. It was done very well.

The installers pulled up with some stuff they shouldn't have pulled up with. The part that was gonna go on the wall looked used. They said it was not the part they were gonna put on. I asked why did they even bring it over. It didn't make me feel good about the company. They had to go to Home Depot and come back with the right one. The remodel looks neat and nice for what I wanted but not for the money I paid.

I saw American Standard on a TV commercial and I called. They called me back and they came out and showed me what they had. I liked what they had so I went with it. The sales agent was pretty nice and pointed out everything. But the installation wasn't the best because the team came out and started tearing it all out and they found out they were sent the wrong base. The guy called and had the company ship one out overnight. He got everything prepped and the next day, they came back and they waited several hours for the delivery but nothing was delivered. They made some phone calls and the company didn't ship it out like they said they were gonna do.
His boss called him away to do another job and they had to go down to South Florida. They made arrangement for him to come back the next day because they said the base would be here the next day. They came back the next day and nothing showed up. It was still in delivery. It took about a week to get here and I was without a bathroom for a week. I called them when the part came in and I had to wait for another crew to become available. It took about a week and a half. And it was kind of weird. I got used to the first crew working and the next thing, I have another crew doing it. Other than that, the quality is excellent and they did a excellent job. They kept everything cleaned up and they were very polite. For my inconvenience, they took off $500 on the price.

American Standard do what they say they would do. Their representative who came out was nice. He explained the different types of material for the remodel, acrylic and the stone. Then he went through what it would be like if we chose acrylic and that it would have one bar on it. He also said that we could choose the type of faucet to use and I chose the brush nickel. But they told us that the shower curtain would be a curved one and in the end, they just put in a standard.
During the installation, the team put down boards on the floor where they'd be walking in and out. And once in a while, I'd go back there and see what they were doing. They came at 8 o'clock and they were gone by 3:00. I like the quality of their work. But I didn't realize that the bottom of the shower would be white when the surrounding area would be linen like they all are. Also, I wasn't crazy about the caulking that was done because they used the color linen and when it was on the white, it just wasn't a good job. Other than that, the shower that we got now has made a big difference. Before, we had a fiberglass tub that was hard to clean. But now, that acrylic on our shower makes it easier to clean. I also like the quality of the sides of our it. It's really shiny and pretty. Plus, it's a lot easier to get in and out of.

I'm enjoying the shower tub and I feel a little more comfortable rather than stepping into a tub. I had a walk-in tub before but I had some plumbing problems with a house that I had, which was why I didn't go back with it. I had other fixtures done and the installation was very good. But I was a little upset with the trimming at the top. It was left unfinished. And I don't like the showerhead. It’s not where you can manipulate it and the way it is causes the water to come under the shower curtain so I have to mop up a little bit after the shower. I wish I had gotten the doors instead of the shower curtains because of the splatter. I have a bar I would like a little closer to the exit for the shower but the handlebars are good. American Standard has good people working for them and they have a good way of convincing you that they're a good company.

The salesperson, Eric, was really knowledgeable. I also tried to research other companies, but they weren't as well-equipped and professional, and Kohler was more expensive. I got the bathroom remodel from American Standard, and the installation day was a breeze. They came in, showed and told me what they were going to do, and did it in one day. The only complaint that I have is my handles on the shower door are crooked. Besides that, I love my walk-in shower. It makes it so much easier and safer for me to get in and out of the shower. People need to invest in a nice shower and go with American Standard. They do quality work.

American Standard sent a lady out and she talked me through everything. She knew what she was talking about. She went in and measured. When the guys came out, they had exactly what they were supposed to have. They said they would be here between 7:00 and 12:00 and they showed up at 7:30. They were done by 2:00. They had a little vacuum cleaner and they swept, even across my front room because I gotta go that way to get to the guest bathroom. They had cleaned everything before I even knew it. They were very professional and were in and out. They did everything just right. The quality of the remodel was first-class. Everybody’s commenting on it so, I'm happy with the way it works. It was the guest bathroom and it's small, but it makes the room look bigger because I got rid of a tub and a shower. It's all clean and white and I love it.

We removed the bathtub and put a walk-in shower for my father at his house because he wasn't able to get in and out of the bathtub anymore. The installers from American Standard called ahead of time and they scheduled it before he came home from rehab and they arrived about 7:00 and they were done by 5:00. It was all in one day. Their work was excellent. My father has enjoyed it because he could get in there to take a shower without me helping him and he's 91 years old. He has the grab bars and a seat that he could sit on. He was able to remain at home so he didn't have to stay in a nursing home. I use it too because I had a hard time getting in and out of the bathtub myself. I really enjoy it.

The rep, Dan, was able to answer all my questions and present what American Standard had that was different than others. They contacted me prior to the day of the installation and when the installers came in, they were very transparent. They let me know each step of the way and delivered what they said they were gonna deliver. I love the remodel. I like the modern look, the lifetime warranty of not having to see what I saw before we did the remodel, and the quality of the service. My money was worth it.

American Standard removed an old cast iron tub and install a new shower stall. I also bought the tiles to match the old antique tiles on the floor. Their work has the highest quality. The new shower makes it so much easier not having to crawl over a tub to use the shower. We also have the seat in there and the handlebars to hold on to.

I'm very happy. They told me they would have the installation done in eight hours and they did. They never stopped for a break or lunch. They went right through everything and got it done for us. The remodel worked out wonderfully. We now have more room, another shower head and better safety. We have handrail bars and a two-inch step instead of a four-inch. The quality is great.

American Standard is a good company. They have quality fixtures. The rep was very patient with me. He explained what the process would entail. On the first date of the installation, the installer didn't show up. But he called me the next day and said that he was in the emergency room all day. We set up another day and he got here at 10:00, got most of it done then came back the next day and finished it.
I had included a shower rod 'cause I didn't want a door but I never got a shower curtain. He told me to call him when I got the shower curtain in the mail but I never did. Also, there are are a couple of places where the caulking isn't complete. Other than those, I like the shower. They did a surround all the way up to the ceiling and it has a slight step into it. It's got two shelves on one side and one shelf on the other. I like the showerhead because I can pull it down and wash with it sitting on the stool. I hadn't ordered a seat, but the guy had a seat and he went ahead and put it in.

I was very comfortable talking to the rep. He was representing the product and American Standard well. The installers were efficient, quick, and so clean. It was dusty but when they finished, the only thing I did was mop. They also showed me everything. I'm very pleased with the work and the aesthetic. Every time I walk in my bathroom and look in the mirror, I see a big smile on my face. It's awesome because now, I don't have a fear of getting in and out of a tub. I can just walk out of the shower. I had them put grab bars at both ends of the shower as well. However, I was never told that a shower curtain didn't come with it. The rod is seven feet high. I can't put a shower curtain on. I have to have somebody come and do it. My original bathtub had a tension rod shower curtain and they put that back up for me in the meantime.

American Standard did an excellent job on our walk-in shower. They did the walls and went all the way down the studs. They put braces, a couple of pull-up bars and a seat. My wife can get in and out of the shower perfectly. The only problem is the salesman told us that the bottom would not be slick at all, but it is. We put a big old bath mat in there with suction cups on it but it won't stick to the floor either. We're gonna have to find a bath mat that won't slide around on the floor.

The sales rep with American Standard was fantastic. I only needed one bathroom but bought two from him because he was so nice. He told us everything that was gonna happen step-by-step and showed picture of other renovation that were done. The installation was phenomenal. Two guys showed up and took everything that was bad and put everything that was good. They worked from 10:00 till 8:00 at night. Everything is perfect. I spent 10,000 and it's worth every penny. I love my bathroom. The bathtub height is perfect, the shower rod is at the right height, and the showerhead is wonderful. I can sit on the toilet forever. The bathroom is very relaxing and super clean.

I'd recommend American Standard. I like their work. The rep was easygoing and answered all my questions. He had some samples and pictures, even some suggestions on how they built it like the shelves on one side versus the other. When you stand up from the seat position, if you shelve it on the same side of the seat, you can hit your shoulder on the shelf. He gave me some insight I hadn't thought about. However, I asked for the existing plumbing because I got another shower that was the same. They left me some spare parts but didn't understand what I was wanting. I wanted to keep the original parts. Also, the curtain shower is supposed to lay against the floor and keep water from being shoved under it into the floor of the bathroom. But it doesn't do that. I mentioned that to the rep and he told me it wouldn't be a problem.

I got my shower put in by American Standard and they did a really good job. They came in the morning, they took out everything and then they put in the walls. By mid-afternoon, they were all done. They cleaned it all up and off they went. You wouldn't even know that they were here. I was really happy with them. I would recommend them for anybody. The shower is gorgeous. It's a very nice shower. Everything works great. They did what I wanted them to do. American Standard is very reliable. When they said they would be here, they were here at that time. I was very pleased. Their customer service was wonderful. I talked to a person I had. When somebody come out from there, I liked him. Everything went so smoothly.

American Standard got my tub turned to a walk-in, a bathtub changed to a new one, and a wall. It was very fast and the installers were very easy to talk to. I was expecting the whole bathroom, like the sink too but they explained to me that the company does the shower only. Other than that, we're happy. The cost was a lot, but we needed the remodel. They also put us on a monthly payment basis, so it helps.

American Standard was straightforward and gave me the price that they wanted to charge and it wasn't negotiable. Another company I got a price from started out at 27,000 and ended at 15. It was a big fluctuation. I could negotiate with them, but I didn't know how low it could go. I'd rather have somebody be straightforward and tell me the cost. American Standard's rep was very friendly and nice. He was easy to talk to. As far as installation, there was a couple of little quirks that the installers came back for and fixed. And once it was all set, it was good. We love it. I had a tub switched to a shower.

We purchased a walk-in shower. The rep brought all of her samples in and gave us all the information about the different products that they had and explained everything, and how it all worked. She measured everything and went back over the paperwork with all the measurements in, and told us what it would cost, and they would get people out to install it. It took them a month before they got out, but they came out and put it all in and we were done. They also cleaned everything up and left it the way it was.

I like American Standard. They were good. The remodel took longer because the floor of the shower arrived cracked so it wasn't their fault. However, one of the sliding doors isn't sliding like I'd like it to. I have to tug on it. It seems like it's off-track, but it's not. Also, there are a couple of nicks in my tile that was already there.

I called a couple of different companies but they didn't wanna come out to my neighborhood to give me a quote. They tried to quote me on the phone and gave me ridiculous bids. American Standard was the first one that said they would send the salesman out, and they did that. The guy was super nice and very professional. The installation team came in the first day about 10 o'clock in the morning. I had a step-over shower and had them convert that to a walk-in step-down shower. I asked if they would be able to complete it the next day and they said they would be done that day. At 6 o'clock that night, they were done.
They customized it exactly like what we wanted. They followed through with everything and checked up on me. I love shower. We like the convenience like we knew it would be. American Standard is an excellent company to deal with. The price was high but I was informed exactly what it would cost me before they started so I knew what I was in for. For the quality of the job and the expertise they got done with, I'm happy with the price I paid.

The information on there was direct, and we kind of knew what we wanted based off of that. We had a walk-in shower put in. It's really nice. The price was reasonable for the quality that was put in. So, I'm satisfied with the purchase. The sales representative was really nice, and he was informative. He was able to answer all of our questions in a respectful way. The sales representative was excellent because I wasn't sure if the shower area would be the proper fit for my husband who's in a wheelchair. So, he kept going back and forth to the bathroom and explaining things to me, which I liked very much. It was very nice. American Standard planned on two days for the installation in case there were any problems, but it only took one day. The shower area is working excellently for us. I didn't realize though they were that expensive. $12,000 is a hefty amount. But in the long run, I understand now. I was happy with my experience with American Standard.

The sales guy for American Standard was great and I trusted him. I purchased a tub-to-shower conversion. He came to my house and showed me all the products. We talked about all of the products and the levels and he guided me the best that he could based on what my preferences were. Two installers came and they were totally professional and they cleaned up like they had never been here. If I have one teeny complaint, I selected the corner built-in seat and the edge is seemingly a little sharp. So if I was gonna sit on it, I have to put a towel on it. But I got the product thing and I'll deal with it.

I had a walk-in tub remodeled and everything went so fine that I bought a walk-in shower after that. Everything went very smoothly. They said they'd come in one day and they did. The price was a little high but everything was top quality. I'm having a little problem right now with the walk-in tub. The jets don't seem to be working. But everything was fine until that little glitch. I will be contacting American Standard to see if they can come down and take a look at it.

We had a shower replaced and the installation was a little more difficult than the installers thought. This is a manufactured home and they ran into some plumbing problems but they solved it. It was a fine experience with American Standard but it was too expensive.

I had my bathroom remodeled by American Standard. I told them what I wanted and they showed me it on the computer. I agreed to it and signed a contract. And we got it done. The sales rep was good and he kept me on the budget. He spent about three hours with me, explained everything, what was gonna be done and what they needed me to do and what they were promised. I wasn't home during the installation, but the installers kept me informed every hour. And they kept me informed when they were leaving to go get some material. They kept me informed when they’d come back. When I got home, they asked me if it was all right if they could stay and finish the job later. I said, “Yes, you can. That'd be great.” They got here around 7 o'clock in the morning and didn't leave until about 8:30 in the evening. We love the quality of the work and it's still working. It's really nice and it's functional.

I chose American Standard because of the price and I like the fact that they could do it all in a day. That was great. It was a very seamless approach. They did it all so I didn't have to worry about a tile man coming in or somebody that could put up the backing. It was just them and they did every bit of it. They took the bathtub out and replaced it with the shower and they also changed out the toilet.

It took them two weeks to get it done and it was hard to be without a shower for a while. But the final result is real good, although I had a hard time keeping the grout from getting all mildewed. Also, the sprayer itself is getting hard to use. You're supposed to be able to change spray and it's pretty hard to do.

We got a new bathtub and the accessories that go in it such as the faucet and the rain shower as well as the surrounding walls from American Standard. The guy who did it would be the only person we would want to come back if we did our second bathroom. He was neat, clean and efficient. He did it all in one day though he came back to bring some type of accessory that he didn't have. Our stuff was all black matte and we paid for some type of bathtub soap dish and he said those only came in one color. I told him not to worry about it. He did an awesome job. The color that we chose for the wall doesn’t show dirt. We didn't even wanna put a shower curtain up there. American Standard’s product is beautiful and their service was great, from the salesperson to the guy that did the installation. They were down-to-earth and friendly.

It was excellent dealing with the sales rep and I bought the same shower unit as the picture on the internet. It was an off-brown color. I had two showers done and the first one was fine. There were problems with the second one but the installers fixed it in one day. The quality was 100% and we're happy with what we have.

American Standard's salesman was nice and their price was better than the other company. They took out a tub for me, then the shower walls and the shower pan were put in with glass doors. These were done in the bathroom that I don't use so I didn't realize at first that the shower head nozzle is too short. I had a guest tell me that the showerhead’s a little close to the wall. It's a five-inch nozzle, then that big shower head comes off of it. It needs to be a little longer and be put more into the center of the shower, not right down the wall of the shower. If there's any way they can send someone out with a longer pipe, I'd appreciate it.
Other than that, the install gentleman and his nephew were very nice and prompt. They stayed at a hotel near here, so the next day, they were here at nine o'clock in the morning and done by noon. They also tidied up when they left. Everything that happened was exactly what the sales representative told me. He told me it was going to take a day and a half, and it did.

American Standard took away the bathtub and put the shower in. I got to pick out the background and exactly what the colors I wanted. Their customer service was really good. The sales rep talked a long time and he gave me lots of samples to look at. He was very friendly. The installers were very fast and neat. They cleaned up after themselves very well.

I liked the efficiency, the quickness, and the easiness of going through the process. We had a walk-in shower installed. The installers did a good job of sealing it so water wouldn't get through and there was no moisture. Everybody was real professional. But for the money it costs, I'm disappointed in it. They can secure the seat better so that you don't have to sit all the way back and touch the back of it if you're taking a shower. Because if you sit all the way back, you don't get the water. I wish that they would fix that.

Any questions we asked, American Standard's rep had the information ready. Also, the installation went well. It was a good crew. They did a good job, and cleaned up after themselves. However, the showerhead that they installed was a magnetic one and kept falling off. It fell off one time and knocked the whole temperature control thing off. So, they said that they had to order a new one. That took two weeks. We had a bit of trouble getting there, but they resolved it. They fixed it for free.

The sales rep at American Standard was timely and informative. He listened and responded to my questions, concerns and desires. He explained the product and the program. Then, he delivered on what he promised. My intention was just to get the information but I ended up choosing to get the walk-in shower that day. The installation was a couple of weeks earlier than he had thought it might be, and the installers got it in earlier. They encountered some problems with the water meter that we needed the city to fix. The city was not timely in coming to fix it but that did not hold them up. They were knowledgeable enough to know how to circumvent that and they got my installation done. They were professional, friendly and cleaned up behind themselves. Every step was excellent.

We purchased a walk-in shower from American Standard. It works fine. Installation was a very good complete deal. The only problem was the installers put a nick into the wall of the shower. We drew it to their attention, but no one ever came to look or check or do anything about it. We’re disappointed there. Other than that, I'm satisfied. It's a beautiful unit.

I had three companies come out and I felt like American Standard was more professional so I went with them. The remodeled a shower unit for me and everybody who came out was fabulous. They had an issue with a leaking pipe and they came out and fixed it properly. I like the technicians.

I will never ever use American Standard Bathroom Remodeling again. They told me they were gonna redo all my plumbing and they cut my copper out and put plastic fittings. They said those were the new stuff. I told them everything needed to be sweated in but they didn't and they never gave me permit. Then, they put the bathtub in and put all the panels the wrong way. A guy had to come and rip all the panels out and try to do them another way. He tried to play with the plumbing and said this is the best I could get it. It's not running good. It just dribbles and I get slow running plumbing. The pressure is not like it used to be and not even hard enough to get the soap off. To top it off, when they went to match the panels into my crown molding, what they did was they put this glue and they just wiped it on my crown molding. All my white beautiful crown molding now has caulking and dirt hands all over it.
Also, they took my floor out when they put the bathroom in and they didn't stick the one floorboard they took out nice and tight. There's a big gap between it and they glued it down to the floor. Now, if the water goes in the crack, it's gonna be under my floor so I just haven't been using that bath. And I had to go out and buy the back hand brace because they said they couldn't find it and it was $130. I also asked about the curtain rod. They gave me some finished satin and it's not the chrome I ordered. They never fixed it so I still have a shower rod that's not chrome and doesn't match the chrome parts I have.
I paid $14,000 for that bathtub and I don't even shower in it because I'm afraid that it's such a hokey doke hamburger job. They didn't even caulk any of the chrome fittings on the wall so if water runs down that panel, it's gonna go into the chrome and right behind that little phony wood panel. I've also already made $5,500 worth of payments. They think everything is fine and they don't have to come back to fix my water and my rod. They just leave it and ignore me. I called the Better Business Bureau and they told me to call the contractors' licensing committee or board. I did that, got the paperwork, and filed it all. They sent it back to me saying that I didn't fill it out right and I lost all my patience with that. I'm just gonna file a contractor's license disagreement and I'm not paying anymore. It's a real horrible experience.

The sales rep with American Standard showed me literature and talked about financing. He had an overall package that he went over. He knew what he was doing. The night before the appointment was scheduled, we had an outage with our power and phone. They were trying to confirm the appointment with me, but I could not get back to them. They didn't come the first day. I called the company and we rearranged for them to come the next day. It worked out well.
The installation team worked a very long day. I went to check in with them several times. They showed me at what point they were at and let me look as they went along in their work. The shower needed to fit in a small area. I wasn't able to have a door on the shower, but American Standard got it in there. They put up a curtain rod instead of having doors on the shower. But the clean up after was not as good as I thought. When they removed the canvas, they left a trail of extra caulking that they had used that had gathered on the canvass. They didn't sweep it up afterwards and I didn't realize it until after they left.

My experience with American Standard was overall good. I got two other quotes from other companies and they are right there in the middle. They were also definitely on my time, so it was worth not just going for the cheaper. The other people were way out, not even realistic. We did the tub package. We had a new tub put in and all the walls. The rep came out. He was good and got to the point. He also answered any questions that I asked. The installers were good too. Couple of guys and they pulled the late day and got it done on the same day. The only negative side I'd have was I was supposed to end up with a curved shower curtain rod and somewhere along the line, that didn't quite make the list and I just got a straight one.

One reason I went with American Standard Bathroom Remodeling was the price. Also, I knew American Standard. I bought their products before. And the salesman gave me a complete rundown on the standards that the people that install have to meet and the training that they get. That was the only company that I had interviewed that pay careful attention to the installation in the people that do it.
The date that they began was the date that I had been promised. But that was the date that they selected. And when the installer came, it was not until fairly late in the day. And it would not be a two-day installation. It would be three days or more. He apologized profusely but indicated that he had not been informed of the installation until the week before. And he was already double-booked and trying to do the work of somebody else that had canceled. He was very professional.
I was disappointed that it couldn't be done in three days. It took over a week. I had tenants in there and they were very patient. It might not have worked out well if the tenants were not patient. But they put up with the demolition and installation that happened almost daily for over a week. However, American Standard is the only company that I'm aware of that sells the product and does the installation and trains people to do it. So, there's no other company I would recommend for the overall product.

American Standard Bathroom Remodeling did a good job. The one guy got right in there and a big sledgehammer and beat the hell out of the old tub. I wondered how they would get that thing out of here. The next guys came in and cleaned up. Soon, they put down the floor and tried to get the new tub in. It was in good time that they did it. However, they're too expensive. I paid $13,000 for a new shower. I even had to buy the curtain. And I told them, "Those nice thick curtains you get from a Hilton, I want one of those." They said, "Okay. We'll have one ready." But they never brought anything. They did not do the job completely as they should. Keep searching.

We had an American Standard representative come and he was very nice. He was upfront and he wasn't pushy. We got the walk-in shower. They also put in another higher commode. As far as the timeline, it didn't take them that long to get back to us and they followed up and they checked with us. The installation was really good. It didn't take them but a day and they had to tear out the old bathroom, tub, and everything to put this new one in. They didn't leave a mess. They talked with us before they started and kept us updated on what they were doing. The quality of the build is outstanding. It looks nice. I would recommend others to go with American Standard. They were very professional. They were very good in presentations and they followed up on what they said they were gonna do.

The installers were very nice. They put a little baggage on their feet and went right to work. They hardly even took a break. It was a rough job. The guy told me it was one of the harder jobs he had to do but they got the whole job done in about eight hours. Also, we talked through some things and they looked for mold in the flooring underneath and the walls. They really did a professional job and I'm very happy.

We had a very small shower, and we wanted a bigger one. The American Standard installers came early, laid towels down on the walkway, and got back in there. They were in and out within six hours, which was fast, and they did a really good job. It came out really nice, and it's a lot more convenient. Our shower has a seat, a grab bar, and something in the back that we can put our stuff in. Also, I don't have to have a shower curtain anymore. It's got the glass doors, which looks nice. However, the tile that I picked is busy, and it makes the other tiles in the bathroom look busy as well. I shouldn't have picked out such a color, but that's okay. It's pretty. I'd tell people, "Give them a chance. You might be surprised."

I had a good experience with American Standard. However, the woman who came and talked to us kept on saying that the prices have gone up from the previous year, but for 13,000, it was good. She knew how to talk and promised us the moon and the stars. When we got the bathroom though, they gave me the wrong floor color, but I accepted the white one anyway and they gave me a discount on that mixup as well. Besides that, installation was fantastic. I've been a carpenter all my life and these three guys worked their butts off and didn't have lunch. They got the job done and they did well.

American Standard put in a shower stall, took out my old bathroom, and put in a new one. Three guys came out to do the job and they were quick and clean. They came on Wednesday morning and they were gone by Thursday afternoon. Their work is very good and I've been very satisfied with this project. I'm crippled, so the walk-in shower allows me to get in and out, which was very difficult before with the rimmed bathtub. The walk-in has the low side walls with a measurement of three inches. It also has grab bars all over the place. We took the seating out of the project, and I have a shower chair that worked out better for me than the seating that would have been put in. The shower chair gives me more flexibility. I'd recommend American Standard.

I like the American Standard salesperson who came to make the presentation. It was good. I currently have a problem with the shower though. There's a button that when you wanna transfer it from the shower head into the one that you can hold before it used to come easily. Now, we have to keep pressing before it starts working again. I don't know what's going on. I'm really surprised because it's barely new. It's not even six months yet. But the installers were good. They explained everything to us before they started. The floor is okay too.

I called American Standard and they sent out a guy who showed us the product that they have and the type of fixtures and discussed the price point of everything. Once we agreed on what we wanted, we set a date. There was no pressure. The salesperson was good. The two guys who came for installation were very professional and polite. I was really happy with their cleanliness. They rolled out tarps so the carpets and the floors wouldn’t get messed up throughout the house. They vacuumed, swept, and wiped down everything in the bathroom from the installation. Both of them were nice. I'm impressed with the quality. It's very nice, solid quality material, and the installation looks professional. The only thing I wish I had was another safety bar. But I'm happy with everything.
I had some damage on the first installation date. They received some damaged product and they had to reset the date, which I thought was gonna be forever because it's the way shipping goes nowadays. But it turned around quickly and they kept me in the loop on how that was gonna happen. Also at first, I thought the cost was a little on the high end, but after I've seen the product that came in, I'm satisfied.

I love the remodel. It was excellent with the American Standard sales rep. He took me into the bathroom and showed me everything that was gonna be done. Then he punched it up on the computer, the way he related the whole project to my bathroom. The installers showed up on time. They worked till 5:00 in the afternoon. Every time there was a wall that wasn't level, they pointed out and told me what was gonna happen. For everything they did, they checked in with me and made sure that I was comfortable with it. Also, the administrator of the office checked in three days after it was installed.

When I contacted American Standard, the salesman called me back and set up an appointment. It was very pleasant. He was very professional and answered all my questions. I got a full shower install to go in where my bathtub was installed. The installers were noisy, but they cleaned up after themselves. They did a good job. I wanted a light installed in the shower above. They requested I buy it then they installed it for me. I had to call them back one more time because of my lack of shower pressure. They tested everything and said it wasn't on their end. It was the pressure coming through the house. I had to contact a plumber to come in and put a pressure pump in which worked. I'm very happy.

The reps were very knowledgeable and they took their time and explained things. The remodel was too expensive, but it is what it is. During construction, they had to rip out as well as put in stuff. It took three full days ‘cause there was a weekend involved and they had to come back. Originally, they said two days, but I understood why it took them the extra time. At first, I didn't think it would take that long, but it was what was needed for what was being done. Overall, I would refer American Standard.

A gentleman came out, looked at the bathroom, took measurements, and went over options for us. We didn't feel any high pressure. We got a pretty good deal. But the installation was minorly disappointing. We were promised a one-day install but got to be two. There was only one member of the crew doing all the work. While that benefits him, that also meant that it took longer in terms of the installation because there's only so much one person can do in a day. But the gentleman did a good job with what he did. I got the walk-in shower and two grab bars were included with the package. The person who did the installation asked me precisely where we wanted the bars. We're pleased with them. I might have had them in a slightly different location, but it's pretty good.
We opted for no doors on the shower and there have been difficulties. We have weights on the shower curtain to have the end stay inside the shower area. But that can get bumped out. It also means that the shower curtain rod has to be much lower than you would normally have it. It's not like we're having to duck our heads down, but it's definitely lower. If someone was doing the exact same package we were doing, they need to be prepared to purchase a longer shower curtain and they need to have a plan for a little installation of an extra little lip on the bottom to make sure the shower curtain can't slip out. That information should be included when the American Standard salesperson is offering that. There could have been some more caveats and recommendations for dealing with the situation as a post install. We had to do quite a bit of guesswork to try and make it work.
The caulking has developed black spots despite cleaning. I'm not sure the materials were the best. I also had to talk with the person who was doing the install to do a little bit more work after he said everything was done because the tub that was removed had a little bit of an oblong lip to it. So the grooved floor had a curve out. You're putting a rectangular thing on top of the curve. There's essentially a curve-shaped hole in the floor, and the salesman said they would take care of that, so I had to remind the construction person to fix that. He essentially installed some trim down there so that we wouldn't have a hole in the floor.

A salesman came out and did a presentation to show me what they could do and what kind of products they had. We dealt with him and then picked what we liked and came up with what we wanted to buy. They consulted me and made sure that I was good with the decisions they were making for the install. I purchased a new walk-in shower to replace my old one. We got a new base, new wall, new shower head, and lots of accessories in there. They gave me a walk through and showed how everything worked. It's very high quality and we haven't had a single blemish. I've been using it for about a month now and everything looks as good as the day I bought it.

American Standard scheduled an in home appt for a walk-in bath tub but later called back & cancelled appt. I was told they would call me back & reschedule appt; however, American Standard never called me back to reschedule the appointment. I am now searching for a different walk in tub company.

This company said I had a lifetime warranty. I had three bathrooms done. It has been less than one year. I called for service (leaking faucet in bath tub) on 11/15/23, 12/4/23, 12/12/23, 12/19/23, 12/27/23, and 12/28/23. On each call I was told someone would call me to schedule a repair. I have not received any calls. I am ready to complain to the state attorney general regarding the sales tactics (You have to use us unless you get a better offer and we'll decide if it is "like for like." If we don't agree, you have to use our company or we'll confiscate 10 percent of the sales price from your deposit. You'll never get a better offer and you will be forced to use us. But we have a LIFETIME WARRANTY that no one else will match) and the lack of warranty service. This warranty is apparently worthless. This company lies to their customers and does not honor their warranty. Run away as fast as you can.

The actual product is nice but the installation and dependability of the company is atrocious. The salesman said anything to get the sale and it did not pan out the way he led me to believe. The installation of the shower was way under par and to top it all off, it's been more than 3 weeks and they still haven't come to clean the debris and trash they left in my driveway. Seriously people, find someone else.

I had the shower replaced. American Standard's salesman was excellent. I like talking with him. He was up from the like north of Boston area, and we talked hockey. It was good to talk with him and he gave me a good price. It's a great shower. I enjoy using it, and I know sometimes things happen when you call up and the installer might be busy. But the two plumbers and two installers were very competent. There's only one little bump in the road.
When it came time for the shower curtain rod, they installed one of those spring-loaded ones where it wasn't a hardware mount that was screwed into the shower wall. So, I started thinking to myself, "I should have let my gut instincts take over." I've learned from the past that anything that's spring-loaded, over time, lose their tensions just like any kind of spring. So, I went away on the Labor Day weekend a month later, came back home after a long weekend, and I found the curtain rod down. So, it fell down. I had no curtain rod up there, so I couldn't take showers because it would splash all over the place. So, I haven't been taking a shower since.
When I called American Standard, they put a work order in and ticket number and they had two rods sent to my house, brushed nickel. So, I started thinking, "The installer is gonna call any day," and I haven't heard anything. Option two was post-installation problems, I hit that, and put a work order. I called three times and the installer never got back with me. So, today, she said she sent an email to some upper-level management people and maybe it would stir up the installer to call me.
Before the installation and I paid any money, customer service is phenomenal. They try to sell you this and that. But once they get your money, it felt, "We got his money, we could drag our feet on anything that happens afterwards." I didn't want to feel like that, but I couldn't help it. And the first lady that I called and spoke with about this said something like, "I can't believe they put spring-loaded shower curtain rod in there because that's not their standard procedure. Usually, it's the one that's mounted in there and they screw it to the walls." I said, "That makes more sense to me." Because over time, those spring-loaded ones lose their attention and they would fall down. And I do not hang up towels on it or don't hang on it and I treated it very carefully, but it came down over the weekend.

The salesman that sold us the shower remodel said all employees that we would work with WERE American Standard employees. Not true the installers are contractors. Started work on my shower two months ago and have not been back to finish. Have been stood up twice for no show after having been given a date. Called the A S office in Texas and they will not even call back. People that answer the phone there are just shills for managers. Do not do business with them. Ron

We had a conversion from a shower tub to a straight shower. We were told it was gonna be a one-day installation. But it actually took them two days. They sent out two techs and only one showed up. It took longer than expected but the tech finished the job and made sure everything was cleaned up before he left.

I had a walk-in shower installed and the installers were very courteous and professional. They were beautiful. I love them. They were very, very nice. I love my new shower. Everything was very beautiful. American Standard worked around my schedule. But I didn't like that the sales rep didn't tell me that there was a possibility that my rates would go up in April. My budget is set around $148. If it goes up any higher, I'm not going to pay it because that was not told to me when I took this loan. It was not told to me that my premiums could go up. I would have had an option to say, "Well, no, I'm gonna opt out right now."
Now that I have had it done, there's nothing we can do about it. I'm going to continue paying. But if it gets to the point where it's too much for me to pay, I'm just gonna continue with the payment that was told to me, the $148. The only thing they said to me was that, if you pay more when they get ready to calculate in April, that would help. I did schedule a payment to take 160 out instead of the 148. I know that was not much, but that was the best that I could do.

I did American Standard because of timing and cost. Their rep did a good job and he seemed honest. I had a walk-in shower and a toilet installed. The installers might have had to come back the next morning. I had an emergency in the middle of that and had to take my son to the hospital, so I left them here. All in all, I like the quality of the products. But the commode is rocking a little bit now like it's loose. I'm gonna have to call American Standard to see if I can get them to come out and hopefully, correct that.

I put in a new walk-in shower and it was very good with the sales rep. He was friendly, professional, and told me my choices. The installation team was wonderful. They were clean and considerate and they explained everything to me. I love the new shower and I love the shower head and the fold-down seat.

The sales rep who came out was great. He was real good about showing us everything we needed to know. Then, they came out and did the measuring and set up the time to do the installation. But it was the wrong shower kit that was sent to them and they had to wait on another one to get there. It took another couple weeks for that to happen. But the installers did everything that the rep said that they would do and they were through in a day. The only thing that I wish that we had gotten that we didn't was a grab rail on the wall. But other than that, everything was nice and we're enjoying it. My wife doesn't like cleaning those doors, though, which she's used some Rain-X on.

American Standard sent out a salesperson pretty quickly and we went over the information, the installation, the way it was gonna happen, and how long it was gonna take. The price was was much less than other places we tried. We were set up for installation within three or four weeks. I appreciated their promptness. It didn't take very long for the actual product to come in where they could install the shower. The installer was a really nice gentleman and he was very professional and neat. He came to install the shower and had his nephew with him. They spent the night somewhere around here. They did a very nice job and a great cleanup afterwards. It was a day and a half of installation, which we expected.
The shower is in a guest bathroom and it didn't get used until the week of Thanksgiving. Everybody raved about it. I didn't have any leaks come out on the floor so it works. Everything looks very nice and we're very pleased. It has a very nice glass door on the front that has towel rack on it on both sides for inside and out of the shower. The showerhead is nice too. The gentleman installed two grab bars, which are in good positions and very strong. He said you could dance on it if you wanted to.

American Standard showed me their product line and I chose what I wanted for the bath to shower conversion. The sales rep had a great attitude and was very knowledgeable. The installers showed up when they said they would and did everything they said they were gonna do, and did a great job. Their professionalism was first class. I love the new shower and I highly recommend American Standard. The remodel was very expensive but it was well worth the money.

I bought a walk-in tub spa from American Standard and the toilet came with it. The salesman that came was quite knowledgeable of what he was doing and he had a video. Two gentlemen came for the installation. They were both originally from Ukraine and only one of them spoke much English. But very competent and hard workers. They came in the morning. They were gone that afternoon. The new spa is good. But I had to make some adjustments after I got it. The hot water heater that I had wasn't quite large enough to handle it, so I had to get another hot water heater. But they were very quick. They were easy to get along with. It wasn't a bad experience at all.
The only thing we didn't like about the whole thing was the financing part of it. For one thing, they offered me a certain percentage. But I didn't get that percentage, and when I got my credit, my credit rating for them was like 750, to TransUnion where I was over 800. So I got a higher interest rate. In my last credit report that I got, my credit from TransUnion dipped down because of this company. I don't know what happened. They said that I owed more money than I did, and I went on to my account, and I was fine, so I did a challenge to TransUnion, but I haven't heard anything yet.

We had a shower installed where there was the bare minimum of a base. We grabbed the package the American Standard representative showed us because it was the cheapest one and it looked good. She answered questions and had reasonable suggestions. We also went for grab bars, a foldable chair inside the shower and a new toilet. The installers were friendly and did very well. They cleaned everything up. But they left a tool behind that looked rather expensive and it seems like they don't care about getting it back. So, we just held on to it in case they came. The shower is great. We only had a bath for many years before it. So it's a very nice change. The only thing is it’s pricey. But all types of those things are pricey these days. The valves that they put in were one of the modern ones and looked good. The whole installation was on point. It comes with a lifetime guarantee, which is mostly what we're paying for.

We got online and started looking for remodeling on bathrooms and American Standard was the one that came up. We had three different people come out and give us their pitch. And we went with them. They had what we considered a better deal. They did it all in one day. We're happy with it. There's one or two things I'd change on the design. But other than that, it's fine.

The sales rep was very good. He was well-spoken, very professional, and seemed to be more concerned with the customer and the customer's results than some of the others who seemed to be more concerned with getting a quick sale and out the door. I did a shower remodel. The installer was from Charlotte, which is a very long way from us, and he was excellent. Although, he ended up with COVID and we had to postpone the installation at least three times. Partly because he was sick and even in the hospital and partly because he never knew who was gonna show up at his truck to go to work in the morning. He knew what he was doing. He was very good at what he did. He was very good in keeping us informed about what was happening.
American Standard came in with the most reasonable price. The materials are not quite up to the standard of some of the other companies, but the other companies were dealing with much more expensive materials too. Based on the price, the quality of the shower is good. But there are a couple of minor negatives. There are two grab bars in the shower and they have different styles. The installer showed me what had happened, and then had American Standard forward the proper grab bar directly to me. Then he had a fellow installer stop by late one night to install the second grab bar to get it done as fast as possible. Unfortunately, when this other fellow came in and put it in, I noticed the next day that it isn't plumb. It's a vertical grab bar and it's kind of tatty-wonked.
There are some places where there is sealant that squeezed out just tiny little amounts, but it's black and the panels of the shower are white. So, it shows up squeezed out and I haven't been able to figure out how to remove it yet. It's very difficult. It's not caulking. It's more of a sealant type of product. Those are very minor. But I'm very fussy and I notice things. Neither one of those things has anything to do with the operation of the shower or the general overall look of the shower. The installer did some things that other installers didn't do, which made the finished product even a little nicer.

Go ahead and use American Standard because you will be thankful that you did. At the time they were much lower than the others that I checked out. The rep was very enticing. He represented himself well. He told all about it, and more than what was necessary. He did a good job. American Standard gave me a later installation date but they came sooner than I expected than they called me and said that, "We will be out to install your shower."
The day came up and the person that would do it was delayed at another job. And it took another day. It was the 4th that he was supposed to be here but he didn't show up. I called and the person called me and said that he got tied up on his other job that he was finishing. And it would be late in the day before he could get away from that. He asked if could he come much later that afternoon. But I told him I had to do something. So he said, "Then I'll just come tomorrow morning." And, he was here the next morning. He took the wall down that was in there and added whatever he needed to add. He had to go to a place to get additional stuff because he didn't have it. But he took more than one day. They gave us a possibility of two and half or three days. But he was here for two days. I love the glass, sliding doors.

American Standard Bathroom Remodeling set me up an appointment and sent a gentleman out to talk to us, sat down and gave the price of what the shower was gonna be and all that. The presentation was good. The gentleman knew what he was talking about, and he wasn't pushy. He just gave us what it was. Then when we decided to go ahead and do it, we sat down and figured out what we needed to do.
The installation was good. The gentleman that did it was very professional, cleaned up after himself, and took everything away. It was great. I went in there and he told me what he was doing. He worked the whole time he was here. Once he came, he started working and he worked through dinner hour. All of the installation impressed me. I like the new bathroom. I should have done it a long time ago. We got a walk-in tub. It has the sit-down seat and handicap bars. One of the features I like is, it's got a lifetime guarantee. You don't get that anymore. I'd tell people to call American Standard.

The sales rep from American Standard offered us everything that was available at the time and everything went through smoothly. It was an upfront and simple experience. The installers did a great job. They came in and kept everything tidy. They were very knowledgeable and the end result looked good. Everything was done at a quick pace and looked nice afterward. Everything is solid, sturdy and there are no leaks. It's easy for my mother-in-law to get in and out of the new shower area and the handles are placed where she would need them. The walk-in shower has got a seat that folds from the wall and she likes that. So, it works for her.

American Standard did a terrific job. I converted a bathtub to a shower and the installation was very smooth. The installers simply took out the bathtub and tore down the surrounding walls and put in new walls along with the new floor. I needed the service done and they did it, and everything went smoothly. The person who came out wanted it done in one day, and they did. I was anticipating possibly two, maybe even three. I've been buying American Standard plumbing supplies for years, so it wasn't a total surprise to me that they rated very well. The quality is excellent.

Purchased a full shower remodel from American Standard. They promise one day, two at the most installation. They came to install the shower, and were almost done when one of the door rails was bent. We were told they could overnight a replacement part and it would arrive in two days at most. It not only didn’t come, but no one at American Standard customer service could tell me where it was. I kept getting promises that I would get a callback, but never did. I called every day for four day but kept getting the runaround until I threatened to not pay for the job. Finally got a call from a regional manager telling me that they could not get a single part but had to order another complete door. It took a week to arrive, meantime I was without a shower for almost two weeks. Not only don’t they know what’s going on, but fail to be responsive to customer needs. Terrible customer service, would not recommend them.

I would recommend American Standard. I had them put a shower in our upstairs bathroom, and installation went smooth. The two guys that came were very professional and they did everything in one day and cleaned up. Everything went well, and I like the shower a lot.

American Standard's price was much less expensive than the others. Their sales rep was great. Compared to the others who came, she had all the information we needed. The remodel was painless. The guys came in, put down carpet protection and showed us what they were gonna do. It took less time than they had anticipated thought there was more work than they had anticipated because whenever they took out the tub, they found some things that were bad to start with. They showed us that, fixed it and went about putting in the new equipment.
They put walls and a new floor. They put in a seat, grab bars, and barn glass doors. The doors are heavy. When you move them, it's impressive how heavy they are. I've been in other showers that have sliding doors and they're not nearly as heavy as these. The walk-in shower is perfect. I like everything about it. It's classy-looking. It's in our guest bathroom and we've had several guests to use it who all commented how nice it is. Everyone has been impressed, especially us.

I like the quality and the warranty that came with American Standard. I had a shower put in. The tech had to do a little bit to change the plumbing to fit the new tub. He called it two days and was done in two days. I was pleased. He showed me how everything worked. If I had any questions, he was willing to answer.

I was online and American Standard popped up on my screen. I called them and I got a phone call back. American Standard was focused and they came out right away. I sat down with somebody at my house who explained the process to me and that made me choose them. It was really professional and I liked what they offered. The presentation was really nice and they gave options. I picked what I liked and they worked with me step by step and made me understand what I was getting to. It was a really easy presentation and I decided to purchase a combo in 24 hours. Everything was really on point.
The installation took a day and it was really nice and quick. A guy came in and started working and taking everything apart. My wife sent me a picture of how they were working. When I got home, it was a beautiful job and I liked that it was really clean. Everything was not yet done but it was almost done. I came into the project and I kept taking pictures and sending them to my friend who said, “I would love to do this, too.”
The installer guy told us, “Hey, when I'm done with my job, you can take a shower right away.” But it took us a long time to use the shower. It was too nice to use it. The job’s been done for almost three months now. Every time we take a picture, it seems like the bathroom still looks brand new. Every time we send a picture to somebody, they say, “Dang, this is nice.” I have a lot of families in town and they tell me they definitely want me to give them the number for American Standard. My home looks really cool. We have a walk-in shower. My wife loves the bathroom. Every time she gets dressed, she goes in and takes pictures.

American Standard seem to be more able to do what I needed. We had a bathroom that had a freestanding, cast iron tub, and we were afraid that we would take a fall in it. We just wanted a walk-in shower. The in-home sales rep acted like there was no problem doing what we wanted. It wasn't a hard sell because I'm a retired mechanical engineer and I don't put up with that. So, we took him at his word but when the installers got here to do it, there were several things that he seemingly said that there was no problem with but they said they couldn't be done. They explained it and I agreed with them. It's kind of a shame. I've had to do this with quoting and sourcing products for projects. I have voiced that too directly to American Standard. I haven't heard anything back from it.
The installation team was here for two days. They were very professional and courteous. They did the best they could with the situation. The fellow that did the quoting is not qualified to do quotes. I've spent most of my life dealing with salesmen and with salespeople, and they talk a big line but a lot of them are not qualified. I personally don't think this fellow should be doing quotes.
There is an issue that we currently have. Our system has two sliding glass doors. The door on the inside never did slide as freely as the other door did. And recently, some of the rollers came off. We cannot use one door because of that. I'm disappointed because I would have thought this would have been a simple thing to fix. I called American Standard and they said that they would have to order parts. That would be like me calling a contractor and him saying he couldn't do some work because he didn't have screws. I would have thought this was something that they would have kept on hand.

A salesperson came, talked to us and we saw how affordable American Standard was. We liked his professionalism, knowledge of the product, and customer service. The workers were on time, efficient and professional. It was cool. It was a good experience. I got a bath tub and a shower. We were so pleased with the outcome. I was so excited. I love the whole thing because it was updated. We have the glass doors, so those are easy to squeegee and keep clean. And the surface of the shower itself is easy to keep clean.
My husband was impressed with it too. He is very with everything. We have two bathrooms and this one is my dedicated bathroom so I could keep all my stuff in there. And he doesn't gripe at me because it doesn't look cluttery in his. We have a bathroom in the master bedroom that as soon as we get this one paid down, we would have that one remodeled as well. But he wanted me to be happy. I would be enthusiastic about recommending American Standard to come out. We have talked to other friends about it who have a home that needs to be updated. We gave them all the information. So when they get ready, they can call the company.

The representative reached out to me so fast. I thought I was just browsing. But after that happened, we went along. He came. We liked the ideas. It took an hour because he talked to us and showed us the product, and he did his measurements. That was when we were convinced that we would do it that way with American Standard. Everything was on time. They did exactly what we expected. The installer cleaned up just like when he came. I never thought that American Standard could do an entire bathroom in one day, so I was amazed to see that finished in one day. We also had the handle bars installed in the bathroom.

We liked what the salesman said. He was very knowledgeable on the subject. The installers were very knowledgeable too. They were very polite and did their job. The price was more than we expected. But it was what they said they would give us for that price. And they were true to their word. The new shower is very nice. It's very modern-looking and pleasing to the eye.

Cancelled work order because they got my materials wrong 2 times. I have been getting the run around about getting my $1600 deposit. I have called the sales rep, regional mgr. and finance person to no avail.

After making my appointment, I received 15 phone calls w/ no messages left to confirm my appointment, when the rep arrived he did not knock, my doorbell was out, and just left, rude customer service. No apologies when I called 30 mins after appointment looking for the rep, rep never came back even though they said he would, when I called to check on status the lady was extremely rude and said he was there, no one was home. I said we were home, he never knocked on my door, I was in the room right next to the door. Me and my songs would have heard. I asked when he would be coming and I was told I will have to call and find out, we are now 1.5 hours into when he should have been at the house already. I said, "Never mind. I will not even consider using your company." Horrible service, horrible service.

My mother (76 yrs) and I (57 yrs) are disabled and called American Standard for a quote on a walk in shower. After talking with the consultant, we gave a deposit of $1000 which we were told could be reimbursed. After deciding not to get the work done, we called numerous times getting the run around. After finally talking with someone, they told us our deposit would not be returned. Please don't let this happen to you, $1000 is way too much money just to Give Away for service you never received. And being elderly and disabled makes it even worse.

Installation was a complete mess with silicon everywhere. The gray grout was white in many areas because of the excessive silicone. The contractor punched holes into my other bathroom which was not repaired.
