My experience with American Standard was impeccable. From the time the sales man came in to sit down to tell us what they had to the workers went, cleaned up and left, I can't say enough about them. I got a walk-in shower. However, the gentleman who told us about it said the water may not reach it if we put in a bench in the shower. But my water surpassed that area and I was so upset about that. But I just went and bought one off of Amazon a little chair and put it in there. But the workers who did the work cleaned up after themselves and they were A+++. I have very good experience with them.

I had my bathroom done in the spring. I'm 81 years old and for six months or so, getting in and out of my shower had not become a problem, but my mind went there to remind me to be very, very careful in my movements. I thought it better to have it done before something happens than to wait until after something happens. That was the purpose of having it redone.

After I got home from the hospital having my left leg amputated, I figured I needed a more accessible shower. American Standard was the first one that I saw. But once I talked to their salesperson, the fact that their products are made in America, I figured not to chase anything else. Their sales guy out was polite. He answered my questions and told me stuff I didn't know. For the installation, two guys came out and it took them about six hours to finish. They were all right and so far, their work was good. It allows me to drive up with my wheelchair right to the shower stall and it makes everything easy for me. I would recommend it. With the three grab bars, I feel like I can get in and get out without falling. I like that. I also like the wood bench I got in there. I'm a one legged man, so I need all the help I can get.

Most of my bathroom equipment has been American Standard all my life. So, when I decided to have a bathroom remodel, I chose to go with them. They called, said they'd be here at around a certain time in the morning, and they arrived almost right on time. As a matter of fact, they were a little bit early. Then they started bringing their equipment in and began working on the bathroom. They cleaned up behind themselves and did not leave any mess at all. The quality of their work is excellent and it's the best thing I've ever done.

The absolute worst experience we have ever had. After many, many visits from their repair "expert," our shower continues to leak. EVERY SINGLE TIME WE SHOWER. If you seek another opinion from an outside plumber, your lifetime warranty is automatically null and void. I have told everybody I know to steer clear. Total disaster all the way around. Avoid like the proverbial plague!

Once I started checking out companies, American Standard popped up on the list. I had three different companies out and we considered them all about the same. The deciding factor ended up being the price. American Standard sharpened their pencil a bit more than the others. During remodeling, I had a couple complications and they stepped up to the plate and made everything right. That was good.

American Standard did out walk-in shower and a toilet. They took out a tub and an enclosure, and the remodel turned out to be very good. I would recommend American Standard all the way. They're classy people. Everything was good from the saleslady down to the plumber.

I'm in an isolated area and I was concerned about the workmanship. I wanted to find somebody who knew what they were doing to do the installation. I had a tub and shower that was installed when the house was built in the late 1970s. I'm getting older and I wanted something that was safer to use. I had a new shower stall installed by American Standard a couple of months ago and it's a lot better than what I had. It's expensive, but it's better to have something that works that's overpriced than something that doesn't.

I found American Standard on the internet. Everything with their service went well. Everybody was professional.

Waste of $20K rescheduled us twice, job was to take 2 to 3 days, took over a week. In less than six months shower leaked and inferior material used for holding shampoo and soap looks like an old tin watering can. Looked beautiful upon completion, but after use looks years old. Difficult to get a hold of for repair, hostile salesman. Unless you dry everything off, glass and product shelf by removing the products or if you have soft water, it looks terrible. Went with them because of the name and salesman was very nice going in, but terrible when I had a problem. Would not recommend.

I got a walk-in shower from American Standard Bathroom Remodeling because when I talked to them, I liked what they said. The install went okay and I'm pleased with the quality.

American Standard contacted me and I made an appointment for them to come and do an assessment. I had another company come also and give me an estimate, but the rep with American Standard was very thorough and nice. He even made a few suggestions, like to change the toilet. He took his time, explained everything, and showed his samples. We were very happy with him. The installers came around 8:30, and they worked all day. They said they'd have to come back the next day to finish it. They told us everything they were gonna do. They were very informative, efficient, and courteous.

The installation was good. There were a couple of things that broke but they came back and fixed it really quick. The rep was informative, knowledgeable about everything and gave us all the ins and outs of what it can do, how it benefits us and what the options are. He did a good job.

I ran across American Standard when I was looking up shower installations. They had the best price of all the ones I checked on and their presentation was interesting. The rep took a lot of time, went through everything and answered all my questions.

We were online looking for estimates and we just went with American Standard. We didn’t even go to any place else. The installation team were good guys. They were very considerate of my condition and they left everything clean. I’m perfectly happy with the final results.

One other company said they could do it in one day, but that just didn’t sound right to me. I decided to go with American Standard instead, and it took them four days. I watched them do it and I thought the quality was good. They were very professional, friendly, and nice to my wife and my kids. They walked me through everything, and the walk-in shower is very easy to clean. I would recommend American Standard.

My daughter had cancer and could not get into a regular tub. So the only way she could bathe was in a walk-in shower. I looked at several different companies and liked American Standard’s product. The pricing was good and they had the lifetime warranty, which was a big plus and I felt comfortable with that. It did exactly what I wanted it to do and helped make the quality of life for my daughter better.

Getting a quote from American Standard was pretty easy. The installation team were very friendly guys and did the job that they were supposed to do as best as I could see. There were a few little things they had to just fix up, just finishing stuff that they didn’t finish off that well. They needed to be refinished properly, but they came back and sorted it all out. Everything seems to be good so far.

We’re getting older and needed more assistance in taking a shower. American Standard had more experience, and it was one of the higher-rated ones, so we went by that. The installer came and got it done in a day, and the quality of the work was good. We’re happy with it because we haven't had anything go wrong

American Standard's process was efficient and when I availed of their bathroom remodeling service, it was completed on schedule. The team also made sure to leave the space clean afterward. We had a bathtub removed and in its place, a shower was installed. The quality of their work impressed me and the remodel has significantly improved our daily routine, especially considering my wife and I have mobility challenges. The new shower is much more accessible and safe for us to use. I would rate my experience with American Standard at a solid 4 out of 5 stars.

I had nothing but positive experience with American Standard from start to finish. The people that I dealt with were very nice and their price was the best. The installation team did a beautiful job. The two things that could be improved are the shower floor, which says non-slip, and the shower bar mounted vertically. One can slip on the shower floor very easily, so it needs to be made more non-slip. It would also be better if the shower bar is mounted horizontally. The installer asked me how I wanted to do it, so I said horizontal. But he talked me out of it, so I went along. Other than that, I was really pleased with them.

The people at American Standards Bathroom Remodeling were very accommodating. They kept me aware of everything that was going on step-by-step, like if there were any issues with my mother’s bathroom. I was very happy and satisfied with them.

American Standard Home Services completely failed to deliver on their promise of a professional installation. We were told by the salesman that our bath-to-shower conversion would take 2–3 days, but the contractor rushed through it in just 5 hours, leaving us with a sloppy, unfinished job. The wrong showerhead was installed. The window kit was pieced together with scraps, and the top wasn’t even cut straight or properly sealed—meaning water can get in and cause damage. When we tried to address these issues, the salesman refused to call us back and could not even provide the original quote we discussed in detail. I trusted American Standard because of their reputation, but this experience has been a disaster. If I had known this is what I was getting, I would have gone with another company.

We ordered the remodel in Oct. We had to wait for a part forever. When they finally got the part and started, they ran into plumbing problems. We fixed the trouble within the week and waited another month at least for them to come and finish the job. When they finally did the job, they did a terrible job!!! Chalking EVERYWHERE! Gaps all over! The installers cut one of the panels from what I understand because the measured wrong and chalked it back together when it was supposed to be a solid panel. The window surround is crocked! The installers told my handicapped sister that she could clean the chalk up herself! We called and sent pictures the next day! They said it will be fixed. It is the end of February and we found out yesterday that they just ordered the piece needed!!! Terrible!!!! We have been VERY PATIENT! We need this done!!!

These are the most incompetent bunch of clowns that I have dealt with in many years. We contracted for a simple tub/shower remodel. They started screwing things up from the beginning, which was in July! A two day job has been lingering unfinished for six months now. They subbed out to a mouth breathing, booger eating moron of a contractor who is incapable of pouring warm piss out of a boot. This guy couldn't even put. This is the fifth time they have ordered the incorrect part. The worst part is that no one will take any responsibility for anything. Do not do business with these clowns.

They call multiple times to confirm details that they already have -- the address, what you're looking to do, etc. -- but then they miss the appointments. This company missed two appointments to pitch me their services. In my call about the second one, we talked about a third one. I said that I could be there at XYZ time, and they said it was required that my wife was also there. No, no it's not REQUIRED. We're done. Show up at your appointments and stop making so many phone calls to confirm them. You are a joke.

My Mom wanted a new shower. We selected the style and fixtures that she wanted. Our sales person John supposedly measured for accuracy. However, the shower base was smaller and the panels were installed at the incorrect height. John who was previously very nice became nasty when we alerted him about the issue. If you go with them, be sure to watch everything that's happening during the installation or you may end up with a smaller shower or mistakes that cannot be fixed without ripping the whole thing out. To boot, they will NOT give you any money back once they make the mistake. We Won't be recommending them to anyone.

I'm perfectly satisfied with American Standard. I've always known them to be a very reputable company, and over the years, I've bought their bathroom fixtures. We recently did a shower replacement and the sales rep who came was very knowledgeable and nice. He explained everything very clearly. As for the installation, the communications were great. They told us when they were coming. The three men who came were very polite and professional. They immediately covered up my hardwood floors, which was the path from the front door to the master bath, so as not to track or scratch. They worked quickly and efficiently and did a good job cleaning up after themselves.

As far as style and colors, American Standard had exactly what I wanted. The other companies had some, but not all. American Standard had everything and I was very happy with my salesman. He was very nice and informative, and he didn't try to give me crap. He told me what he could do for me and what the price was gonna be. When the installers came in, there were no issues at all. They done a fine job and didn't play games. They cleaned up nice afterwards. It was not a bad experience in any way at all. My new shower hasn't been in 60 days yet, but we absolutely love it. American Standard had it installed when they said it was gonna be installed. It looks like what we wanted it to look, and it operates beautifully. From the ugly thing we had to what American Standard put in for me, I absolutely couldn't be happier.

The sales guy was very helpful, and friendly. He was also very professional. Two people came out for the installation and it took about three days. One day, they took down everything, and the one day, they put up everything. On the third day, they did the finishing. It looks great. We like the convenience of getting in.
