    Bought a brand new 43" tv only to plug it in and the screen flashing various colors. I called and opened a case. These people do not care. Told me to take a brand new tv to get repaired. I had the convenience of getting it delivered to me but was inconvenienced having to take it back to the retailer store. Ordered June 3rd. Got it at 9am. Started my case at 10:40am and heard a resolution on the 5th which was not good enough. They know they are selling bad products and they talking to you as if you owe them money which means they don't value the customers who keep them in business. No compensation suggested or anything, just straight bs. They lack communication and professionalism skills. They definitely lack sympathy.

Because you purchased the item the day prior, we recommended that you return the item to the retailer to either receive a refund or to do an exchange.     Bought a new 43 inch and when you turn it off it comes back on. We have worked through Two customer service techs and tried everything they wanted 3 times, Twice ourselves and still will not shut off. After looking at what has to take place I put it in the trash and bought a different brand with a much better rating and worked like it should out of the box. Their warranty and customer service is a joke, do not waste your good money on this brand!

    TV didn't last 4 months and instead of them fixing it they wanted to refund it but would not reimburse taxes saying that's state TV was not worth it at all and customer service sucks. So not buy from them or Element because they are the same company.

    I bought my Element 75 inch TV with Roku 4 yrs ago. It won’t work. It’s not turning on. It try to turn on then goes back to black screen. I wouldn’t buy Elements TV ever again. It’s not worth the money.

    My son purchased this TV about six month. We didn't even have that long and the screen went out. Since we lost the receipt the warranty won't cover the repair. Don't buy an Element TV. If you do make sure keep the receipt. It sad because someone might get it as gift.

    Bought this TV. Don't have internet ,just a satellite dish. The sound is terrible. It cuts in and out. Also some stations and movies turn the sound all the way up and don't get any louder, sometimes goes totally out and have to turn off satellite and reset it. Also have trouble getting it to turn on

    Terrible, this was my first Element Tv and I thought I had a deal. The picture and sound doesn’t match up. I have called in and done the reset, drain the power and everything else and nothing helps. They said I would receive an email for further troubleshooting and nothing. Waste of money, buy a brand that is reputable.

    Don't buy it! It's a problem with the internet, the control, the programming, the subtitles. I never thought I would hate a TV so much! My husband always blames me for this and many times we give up watching something because it freezes and has several delays.

    Bought the 43 inch 8/26/24. End of October this year had have to constantly unplug and drain the power to turn it on or off. As an added bonus Audio wasn’t matching the screen. Did the trouble shooting over email as they do not answer the phone and instead leave you on hold with a recording blaring, "We will be right with you" over and over. Finally they say they have a repair place an hour away who I need to schedule with. I’ve yet to find out if they do repairs on Saturdays as I can’t take a workday off for this nonsense right now. In the bottom of the email it states that if they can’t fix this tv they will give me a refurbished one. I’m sorry I don’t even know how this is ok that I spend my money on a brand new tv and they give me a used one. My experience with a brand new one is horrible so I have ZERO faith in a used one. I’m ready to just take it as a loss and NEVER EVER BUY ANOTHER ELEMENT ITEM.

    This is my second Element branded TV purchase, a 43" 4K Dolby sound television, and I love it. The TV has a beautiful stunning picture, and great surround sound, my other Element 40" TV is 11 years old, and works great!

    They have the worst TVs in the world. I used to having 2 Element TVs, but got rid of it 'cause it blacked screen. Now the other one I used for computer randomly black screen not once, but 2 times! This is just how amazing how they can make their TVs this cheap and then it black screens and they get away with it. Waste of money! Never going to get anything from Element ever again.

    I purchased an Element Washing Machine on March 20, 2024 through Walmart, it was being delivered via FedEx on March 22, 2024, it was not delivered until March 25, 2024. It was installed on March 26, 2024 and the first load of clothes was never washed in it. It never worked, I called Element customer service and they ran me through a list of diagnostic steps to determine if they could figure it out over the phone, after 3-4 calls and several times of cycling through the test with different people it was determined that the brain of the washing machine was bad and there was no way to fix it. I had unpacked the washing machine and put the box at the road, the waste management company passed the next morning and picked the box up, because I no longer had the original box they would not do anything to help me, I even offered to pay for a new box if they would send it to me, they said they could not do that.

    So at this time I now have a Samsung washer from Lowe's that works like a dream and I have an Element Electronics paper weight for holding down really large pieces of paper. I would never recommend this company for a toaster, their customer service is a joke, they put the word run in runaround. I just want my money back, I am still willing to pay for a box it they will send me one, maybe they will see this complaint and they will try to work with me, not holding out much hope, looks like I just made a 660.00 mistake.

    Bought TV Saturday, stopped working the following Wednesday. Customer service didn’t do anything and completely ignored me. I’ve never had a TV stop working that quick, had to plug in my TV that is 10 years old and it worked great. Still, I would really recommend you never ever ever buy an Element TV and hopefully they will be out of business pretty soon, nothing really has quality anymore but Element is ridiculous.

    I purchased a 70 inch Element Roku tv less than 2 years ago and the screen had already went out. I was informed by customer service that there's nothing they can do. The warranty expired one year from purchase date. Money wasted. I do not recommend anyone to purchase an element tv.

    I purchased an ONN Roku smart TV for a present for my parents in November of 2020, because they wanted to remodel in order to have room for the tv where they wanted it it got placed unopened in a closet. The remodel took a little longer then planned because they had to have all new wiring throughout the entire house. Then just as that got finished my mom got sick with cancer. She spent an entire year battling it but sadly we lost her in January of this year. I live with my stepdad now to help him with things and decided to get the tv out and set up. I pulled the still brand new TV out of the closet and tried to get it all set up but it wouldn't connect to our internet. It won't even acknowledge that we have internet it just reads nothing.

    When I called about it that day I was told that it was a manufacturer defect that they knew about and as such it wasn't a warranty issue because it came from the factory already broken, in other words it was something that they knew about. After 2 weeks of more phone calls I am now informed that it is past the warranty age and therefore they refuse to do anything. Basically stating that I bought a worthless tv that they knew about and are now blaming me for the tv not working like it should when I purchased it. They are wiping their hands and saying they are not at fault and I should have to eat the expense for them selling me a worthless tv. DO NOT BUY AN ELEMENT OR ONN TV they are knowingly selling tv's that don't work and then REFUSE to fix it or make it right when called out on it.

    Updated on 06/02/2023: Element Electronics customer service is terrible. Go ahead and read the other reviews. I've been getting ran around by them for a few weeks now. I posted a 1-star review for the 55" Roku TV and they gave me completely different information. Customer service via email states that my warranty is up at 1 year. My TV started having problems at 1 year and 5 months and was completely unusable by 1 year and 6 months. LOTS of people said they had the same issue, from review sites to their website to here.

    I left a 1-star review here as well, and guess what? They're telling me their warranty is now 2 years. That just isn't true! Beware of this electronic company. In the likely case of their electronics becoming faulty, they'll give you the run around so they don't take responsibility. Do yourself a favor and spend a little extra for name brand Samsung, Sony, or even straight from Roku themselves.

    Original Review: I purchased an Element 55" Roku Smart TV and the screen died just over a year and a half old after purchasing it! First and last time getting an Element TV. Just after the warranty ran out, I noticed lines on the TV screen (lower left). Within a month's time, the television developed lines all over the screen, then began flickering with both vertical and horizontal lines. Before it completely died, half the screen went dark. I've never seen a TV do that before.

    I wrote customer service and they said they couldn't do anything, despite evidence that this was a common problem. It took 3 weeks for them to even respond with suggestions. I posted negative reviews on several sites and when they responded with "email customer service and we'll help you!", they continued telling me they couldn't do anything at all. It was completely disingenuous and only left me more frustrated. Sounds to me like there needs to be a class action lawsuit filed against Element Electronics. Their customer service doesn't help, takes forever, and blames the consumer for their defects. Highly recommend never purchasing from them, as you will be gambling your money away.

    I bought my daughter a Christmas present in December 2022. The tv never worked, they told me to take the tv to a repair shop in Queens. 45 mins away from my home. Two weeks later they said to pick up the TV. The tv was not repairable. So I drove 45 min to pick up a dead tv. Now it's 5 months later, no refund, just the run-around. I will never buy anything from this company. Only a Samsung tv. I just want my money back.

    Purchased a TV November 2021 with a 2 year warranty. Registered and confirmed 2 year warranty. TV screen went out after lines and then black. Contacted their customer service via email in March 2023, completes unsuccessful troubleshooting, and 22 days later still no TV and last email from them says it’s not under warranty (I emailed proof and have a copy of their warranty) and they closed the case. It is unacceptable customer service and now I can’t get a call back. Breach of warranty contract. I was wanting it replaced, but now I want a full refund because I don’t want to support a company who is refusing to honor warranties.

    I purchased an Element 70” Roku Smart tv from Walmart June 2020. It went black with no picture and no sound on February 7, 2023. This tv didn’t last 3 years! It’s ridiculous how I wasted my hard earned dollars on this malfunctioning device. I have several other smart TVs in other rooms throughout my house that are many years older and they are in excellent working condition. Please don’t buy from this company because it appears they make malfunctioning equipment. Buyer beware!! Also when I reached out to their customer support to see if anything could be done, they said my 1 year warranty expired and I could call their recommendation for someone to repair it for a fee. This tv is a complete lost and I will NEVER purchase anything from them again.

    Bought this TV at Black Friday 2020, within 12 months it was darker on top few inches but not very noticeable. Today TV completely black screen, just as others report. Saw in the comments there were trouble with the Black Friday TVs, What a piece of junk and waste of money. Now retired and on limited income so cannot afford a new TV. Be wary of Element products!

    This Company is horrible. I like many others in these reviews purchased at 70 inch tv and three months later the screen went black. I called multiple time, was told to reset multiple times and no resolution. I asked to have a new tv and they told me to take my 70 inch tv and put it in my car, drive it a half hour away and take it to a repair shop in a terrible neighborhood. When I told them this wasn't feasible I was told I would receive a call in 24 hours. That never happened. I had to call back and wait a half hour on their phone system which is a joke. To be told someone sent an email instead and they are just going to give me a check but they don't have the details in it I'd have to wait another 24 hours. It's been 24 days with no tv, I missed the ball drop on New Years and this Company could care less.

    I had an Element Tv for about 2 years before the TV screen went black. We went back and forth with Element trying to troubleshoot but nothing worked. They said there were problems with the TVs that were purchased on Black Friday. They gave me a refund. I decided to get another Element TV thinking this wouldn't happen again. I made sure not to purchase it on Black Friday. I ended up buying a bigger TV and spending a lot more money on it. Well 1 year and 1 month later the exact same thing happened. Only this time it started making a buzzing sound and had a burning smell before it just went totally black. I contacted Element and their response was it's out of the 1 year warranty and I should contact someone to repair it.

    This is ridiculous. A TV should not last only 1 year. Everyone I talk to that has other brands have had their TVs for years with no issues. Every review I read about Element TVs has the same issue with the TV going black. I should be issued a refund as the last refund check just went right back to them for another one of their TVs that doesn't work. Maybe they need a class action lawsuit because there's so many people with the same exact issue. I will never purchase another Element TV and I will make sure my friends and family know not to purchase one either. Now I have a 75 inch TV just sitting here.

    In Nov of 2020 I purchased a 70" Element TV. After 11 months, screen went black. I contacted customer service and they were very helpful and eventually issued me a refund. I received the refund in November of 2021 and used it to buy a 75" Element TV on November 5th 2021, assuming that what happened with the last Tv may be a fluke. Well, just today, 12/14/22, the same exact thing happened. Screen is black and can't see anything. The same exact thing that happened with the last TV I bought from them, happened again, this time 13 months after I purchased it. Save yourself the trouble and do NOT purchase an element TV unless you only want to have the TV for one year.

    I am now 1 month out of warranty, so I am pretty sure they will not refund me but I would just like to warn others. Companies like this, that produce crap products that last one year, should not be able to sell their products. Again, last time I dealt with their customer service, it did go well but the bottom line is I had two TVs stop working one year after purchase. No matter how good your customer service is, your products should be built to last longer than 1 year. I have 6 other TVs throughout my house and all of them are much older than the Element. I have a Sony that is probably 15 years old in my son's room, and a Samsung in my basement that is probably 8 years old, and a brand called Olevia in my daughter's room that is still kicking after 17 years! It's a shame cause I really liked the TVs with the built in Roku.

    Tv started acting weird at 11.5 months but we didn’t notice the melting until 12.2 months. The tv was hot to the touch and the edge of the screen burned causing lines across the screen. Company refused to help because we were two weeks out of warranty.

    I have had my 70 inch Roku Onn TV for less than a year. For 6 weeks Element has forced me to troubleshoot with 3 employees. Nothing works and they refer me back to Walmart and Walmart escalates it back to Element in the report telling them to refund my TV. The latest employee, Jesse (employee id **-probably a fake) refused to help with issuing my refund or a television replacement. I have vertical black lines running through the center of my television and according to all the reviews online so do thousands of other customers and Walmart has said that Element is required to honor my warranty. Here we are with no resolve and no call from management like requested.

    My tv went black with sound in under a year. I called and ended up having to leave a message. It took them a week to call back, but I missed the call. I call right back and same thing on hold till I had to leave a message, but this time no one called me back. My daughter's tv only lasted a year and went black a few months before mine. Unbelievable that these companies don't even respect their consumers, Wish the government would fine them. Once I see something with this company's name I will never buy.

    I purchased this TV during Black Friday last year and have had (still having) the same issue continuously. This is ridiculous because when you pay for a product expect it to work correctly and all the company does is direct you to the FAQ section. I realize that this is a late review, but I haven't had time to post until now.

    GARBAGE TELEVISIONS, This is in regards to a 70 inch Roku Element 4K smart TV model number E4AA70R. I BOUGHT THIS TELEVISION FROM WALMART ABOUT TWO YEARS AGO. ABOUT SIX MONTHS AGO the screen went dark. There was sound to the TV but no picture. I contacted Roku who gave me the number for element electronics. I've been calling Element Electronics for the last six months and no one has gotten back to me, I have also contacted Walmart who instructed me to get a hold of element electronics. I am very frustrated and disappointed I would like a refund or an exchange for this item, today I have a 70 inch worthless television in my living room that I spent hundreds of dollars on very and nothing from the company shameful..

    Horrible all around. We didn't have the TV for 3 months and it blacked out. Took 2 months to get it to a repair shop then after a month they "no longer make the part we'd need" so sure, "We'll give you a refund FOR $180"! I think that No way in the world we could replace the TV for that. It was an issue they knew about or should have from the reviews on the BBB. Talked to 5 managers with surprisingly American names despite their very thick Indian accents. All told me something different. In the warranty it says replacement is an option but yet EVERY non manager I've talked to has said, "We don't do replacements." They will screw you over hard. Do not buy from them!!! You get nothing but the run around and a big middle finger from them.

    I bought a refrigerator manufactured by "Element" from a retailer with warranty. The product is defective and non operational. Called them and they said talk to retailer. Both Retailer and Manufacturer are non responsive and not repairing / replacing the product. The manufacturer "Element" and retailer "Elite Exchange" both are non responsive.
