Some years ago, I purchased an Element 23" TV (at Walmart, on a Black Friday sale) for use as a dedicated computer monitor. That TV has been great. I'm still using it as I write this review. When I turn off the computer, the TV turns off after a little bit (it should be instantaneous, like regular computer monitors, but this is a very minor issue). I've never used it for regular television, nor have I ever connected a DVD or Blu-Ray player to this TV, so I cannot speak to that experience.
On Black Friday in 2018, at Walmart, I purchased another Element TV, this time a 39" class "smart" TV, but it isn't that smart. Yes, it has several streaming services built in, and yes, it can connect to the internet, but it is missing a number of features that I would expect a smart TV to have. Let's start with a feature called "HDMI-CEC" -- this allows other devices to turn the TV on or off via the HDMI port. Power up your Blu-Ray player and have the TV come on, for instance, or use Google-home (or Google Nest) products, and control the TV via your smart-home device. OK, I realize that this doesn't apply to everybody who wants to make a purchase, so here are some other issues as well: The remote lacks a sleep button.
The remote for the 23" TV mentioned above has one, and it even works with this TV, but this TV's own remote lacks that button. One has to dig several layers deep into the menus in order to activate the sleep function with this TV's own remote. That's just silly. Especially with a so-called "smart" TV. Another issue concerns lag when the TV is turned on. The remote simply won't do anything for the first minute or so the TV is on. Best guess is that the TV is still booting, but if it came on with the volume too loud, or on the wrong input, the user just gets to wait a bit before the remote will do anything. This is also silly.

I had this 32 days and the video quit. To be honest, the picture wasn't very good from day one. Kinda glad it broke. I was able to return it and buy a Samsung. Don't waste your money on this brand. There's no memory so you can't add any apps, and only have the preloaded apps. Seems the video/picture going out suddenly is a common complaint.

I was so excited to get my 70 inch television. The cable company came and hooked me up, I watched tv w/ no problem. Then, I went down the wrong path and tried to watch Netflix. Well ROKU wanted me to input this pin # and it makes you go online then a customer service rep calls you and holds your tv hostage where if you don’t want to pay 60, 80 or $120 fee to watch tv. Eventually, I paid 60 for absolutely nothing, in order to watch the tv which I just paid 100s of dollars for. The only way the customer service rep would let my television play was for me To pay Roku $60.00 service which you can not elect to NOT have. Will never ever ever buy another Element Roku tv!!!!

I purchased a 32” Element TV at Walmart. I immediately noticed problems. The menu seemed to change on its own, it would change from English to Spanish, then there was no sound on channels 5, 9 & 13. My program was fine, then the commercial would come on with no sound, then it would have sound again when the program started again. I had to keep going back to the Menu to readjust. After 6 days of this, I boxed it back up and took it back. I will never purchase another Element TV again!!!! Walmart is great, but not this TV.

I bought a Element about 6 years ago, I never had a problem with it until the picture went out after 5 years of heavy use. I loved the tv. So we decided to get another one. Again, great tv, until the picture went out after 5 months...I submitted a claim to their support and sent pictures. Immediately their response was "physical damage, case closed, void warranty". No questions, didn't ask me what happened, just immediately blamed it on me. So I contacted them through chat and was told I would be contacted within 24 hours. 2 days later no word so I contacted them again. Same thing. I emailed them, asked for a phone number. Still no answer or contact from anyone.
Finally after about 2 weeks I found their phone number and called. They continued to tell me it was physical damage even though I explained over and over that there was no way physical damage occurred in the middle of the night while everyone was in bed. So they decided to let me file a claim and told me I need to take the tv to a electronic recycling place and send them a copy of the receipt and I have 30 days to do so. Today I get an email (6 days after I'm told I have 30 days) "Strike 1" " due to inactivity in non-compliance, your case has been archived". WTF!?! How are they going to give me 30 days then after 6 tell me "nope, not so much"
I am so beyond frustrated! I am disabled with 2 children and going to college full time. On top of that, the recycling fee is $25, I don't have $25 to spend atm. I can't just grab a 50" up and run it 15 miles away whenever I want. I have to find the time and someone to help. I love the tv for the most part but customer service has absolutely RUINED me EVER buying a tv from them again.

DO NOT purchase anything from Element, their products are garbage and buggy. They do not stand behind their products unless you spend extra money on an extended warranty. Purchased an Amazon Fire tv from this company, had this for about 2 years. This tv was buggy out of the box. Called their support multiple times in that 2 years since we purchased this TV the Amazon Prime channels often not have any option to watch or rent. Their latest fix did not solve my issue and was told I would need to purchase a new TV. They refuse to replace the garbage I purchased since I did not purchase an extended warranty. Vizio is a better option, they do offer a lifetime warranty and will back up their products.

Hey I just bought a new Element Electronics TV and it is out of this world. We watched a 3D movie on this and I felt like I was in the movie with the characters. The sound was so clear. I can even hook my computer up to this TV. I have been trying to get my husband to upgrade for a while now since the kids have moved out. Finally, he agreed and was very pleased with his decision. He is watching his hunting shows as we speak and it’s like he is in the woods interacting with the hunters. I would most definitely suggest this TV to all of my friends and family. Thank you Element Electronics. You’ve really made a difference in mine and Tom's life.

It is a good value set. Made relatively cheap but the features are good. Some directions are poorly written. For example, the size of the bolts used to attach it to a wall mount were incorrect. Clarity of the screen is very good. Sound quality is mediocre at best but for the price paid, understandable. The stand that attaches to the set is very low quality and care must be taken to avoid breaking it.

This brand of televisions may be looked over compared to other brands, just because they are well known or have been around a long time. Element Electronics is a brand that everyone needs to consider. The prices are lower and it has extremely good screen view. The colors are spot on and they have the same features as all other brands. It's a top runner product in my opinion. It deserves more credit than is given by most.

I think this brand is really not good. It takes so long to come on, sometime it takes approx. 10 min. The first one I had, I left on for about twenty minutes. I'm thinking now if I would have left it on longer it might of worked. I'm really disappointed that I wasted over $200.

I purchased a television 6 months ago. It was great, I liked the picture, the sound, even being a smart tv was good...until it wasn’t. My son’s left out Monday morning together. The night before, we watched television as usual...no problems. Left out at 6:30am, came back late that afternoon and the television had lines in it. It started from the top as a butterfly like shape, then it flowed downward getting increasingly worse. I contacted their chat. The customer service rep said it sounded like a surge occurred. He gave me an order number and an email to send the picture of the television. I thanked him.
I sent the information off and the next day got a response. Their response was, the television was damaged and there is nothing they can do. "Oh and for your trouble, we’re voiding your warranty!" Wow!!! If this is how they treat their customers then why bother with their products!!!! There are other companies that are willing to assist. I thought that was what the warranty was for. Nope, not at all!

I have called Element's customer service several times to get “walked through” the reactivating process just to find out there isn’t one. I’m very dissatisfied. Purchased the 50" Element HDTV from Target in February and am so glad I held on to the receipt. About two weeks in, the TV would freeze up and nothing worked - none of the buttons (including the power button) on the remote, nor the button on the TV itself. Only way to unfreeze was to unplug it from the wall. Would be fine when it was plugged back in, but decided to exchange it within the 30 day window to avoid having to deal with warranty repair/replace issues. Have had the replacement TV for 2 weeks today and this one is doing the same exact thing. Decided I am going to exchange for a different brand. Besides the freezing issue, the sound and picture are great.

I bought the 19" Element at Target; after about 60 days the soundbar wouldn't go back and I have no sound. My theory is that using the mute button occasionally affected the volume control. I didn't want to mess around with doing resets; and plugging/unplugging didn't work. This should not be happening to a new TV. and now I see it's common problem for Element. I got a TV as a gift a little less than a year ago. All of the sudden it completely died. Went black and then wouldn’t turn on no matter what I did, just a black screen with the red “off” indicator light lit. It was a great product up till then, however. I called customer service and ran through all the troubleshooting and they determined it was defective. That’s when things went wrong. The warranty process is needlessly complicated and has crazy expectations. It is valid for a year but requires three pictures of the TV and a picture of the RECEIPT before they can even begin the process. The problem is that they don’t say in the paperwork for the TV that the warranty is only valid if you have the original receipt. After a good 10 months, that receipt was trashed long ago.
The customer service representatives that I spoke to were very nice and tried their best to help me, but the supervisor that I was trying to talk to to complain about the receipt policy REFUSED TO TAKE MY CALL. Twice. In the end, the only thing the representative could do was put in a request for a callback from a supervisor, which is supposed to be within the next 24 hours. Overall, the general customer service people are great and very nice, but the higher ups and the company policies all suck. Also the TV must not be that great if it randomly dies less than a year later. And the first customer service rep knew that the TV was defective as soon as I described what was going on, so it must happen often.

On 09/09/2017 we purchased a Element 55' Digital TV from Meijers. We have had several issues with the TV pushing voltage through the HDMI ports. We contacted Element to get the warranty for the TV and were told that since the TV is not "smoking" or shutting off there isn't a problem with the TV. We have had 5 service guys to our house and now a electrician and the TV is the issue. The TV was manufactured in August 2017. trying to talk to the customer service people at Element is next to impossible due to the language barrier (they speak very poor English). $500 for a TV that was manufactured with errors obviously ok with Element since the TV don't shut off or smoke. Will NEVER purchase another item from this company since they do not stand by their product.

Element TV - This company has good products but when it come to warranty I advise no one to shop with them. They make you wait 3 to 6 weeks to get a refund on the product that you purchased from them. After they receive their product it don't take that long to give a person a refund when they paid extra money for the warranty. If that's what the case what is the warranty for and it take the same amount of time to even get the product fixed through them. I will never buy nothing else from these people.

We purchased the Element television on Black Friday. It has given us a clear picture, a good sound, and doesn't create a glare on the screen. It was an excellent cost, pulls in the channels we want without cable, and looks pretty. It meets and exceeds my wants.

I had gotten my 50 inch Element TV about two years ago and today the screen got dark and started flickering when I tried playing video games. I don’t know what is happening but I will say I had to give a satisfied review as the TV has lasted longer than I had expected it to. Overall, not a bad tv, but if you have the extra cash, go for something a little more top shelf.

Two years... This tv... a gift. The menu just flops around randomly. Volume continues to go up and up when I push mute or down volume. I took the batteries out of the remote to no avail. SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY TO GET A TV THAT WON’T HAVE TO BE REPLACED AFTER TWO YEARS. Our Toshiba is awesome. Had that thing 3D and all for five years... not cool. What now? What are you going to do to back your product and make me want to buy yet, another one? Coupons? Your product is terrible. What the hell is an ELEMENT? The element that is pissing me off.

I called the technical support line for my tv and they told me it was my fault. My tv is not even 2 years old and the inside of the tv split like a piece of paper. How does that happen? My last tv was 17 years old and no problems. I have never seen this before. I watch tv now with what looks like tanning lights behind the ripped paper. I will never buy another Element anything. Back to name brand electronics. I sent pictures to them also. They did nothing about it.

The only reason I gave it two stars instead of one, was because it did have a clear picture. But other than that, it's a cheap TV. The warranty only covers a year and my 60 inch TV broke shortly after that. The volume is suppose to go up to 100 but doesn't get any louder after about twenty five or so. The customer service was dry and seemed like they didn't care and just told me to find a TV repair company. So if you're looking for a reliable TV to last at least a couple years, then keep looking. Don't waste your money on this brand of televisions.

Innovative and inexpensive brand. I like Element TVs. I bought an Element TV from Target and I found the setting up and operating extremely easy. The TV was very lightweight so it made the process even easier. I was able to hook my DVD and Blu-ray players up quickly. However, the Element TV brand stops working after about 2-3 years. Hopefully they can find a way for their products to work and last longer. Other than that, they have great picture quality for the price you pay and are portable. They come equipped with all the ports and outlets you need for all your digital activities.

The Element TV has an impressive clarity for its color and the contrast of it, including its design compliments any decor. It makes it easy to watch the perfect show and movie that will excite me to watch another one. It has 4k quality which is great for a full dynamic experience with my family. However, the size of the screen should be more larger for a more of an affordable price. Due to it being really high quality so they have to make it small to keep up with demand. Other than that, it is very fairly easy to use. I just plug it into my wall outlet and from there I use my remote control to operate the TV functions, such as turning it on and off or changing the channel. They have instruction videos online to answer any questions that is needed as well.

I liked the price of it. It was very affordable and the looks of it was very sleek and slim. It lasted a lot longer than I thought it would. However, I did not like the back of the television. It was a tight fit for Xbox 360 cords for my grandson and I barely was able to get it to fit in just right. The set up for cords in the back was to flush against the back paneling of the television making it difficult to hook wires that were slightly thicker around the base. I also did not like the way the apps were formatted and wish it was setup in an easier fashion. Other than those, the setup of the rest of the TV was very easy to use and to operate.

I also enjoy the quality and the automatic upscaling they have. The ones we have now are great but I would like to see a tad bit more for the controls. Other than that, it is very easy to use and self-explanatory. It's very simple and to the point but also very high-tech and advance so you know you're getting the best and up to date item.

The Elements TV is easy to use and it does walk you through the process. The instructions it came with were easy to read and understand. Anyone would be able to set up and access the TV menu without a problem. The size I chose works best for me. I can see it very well. It's very clear and the color is excellent. However, the sound could be a bit better. You have to turn it all the way up and I may have to add a soundbar just to hear it. Also, sometimes the speakers will go in and out. I believe if they were bigger the sound would be different. Additionally, I picked up the TV at the store because the first one delivered was broken. I recommend buying in-store.

The tv itself works fine. Like all other tvs it's the same setup and was easy setting up and getting the right color and contrast. You don't really need the instructions to set it up. Also, the TV has an excellent picture for the price. I only have the 32 in. but it has very crisp and sharp pictures. The sound is good for the size and sounds better than computer speakers. I liked the quality of the Element TV for the price. It was bought for my daughter's room and its purpose was met. However, connecting the universal remote was difficult and took at least 20 minutes. Still, setup was fairly simple and my husband who works for a cable company did it quickly. While the Element was a good TV, it wasn't as great as a Sony. The sharpness wasn't that great. Moreover, it would be great if it was a smart TV. It would have been nice to watch Netflix in it. Also, the TV did break very easily when my son threw a remote from the Wii through it but the velocity was not hard.

The Element TV is better than expected. It is a very easy process of setting up and operating the Element television. You take the TV straight out of the box you just attach the stand to the television and you're good. These televisions are also relatively cheap televisions. I love the price of the TVs and the quality is up to par with brands such as Samsung and LG. The pixelation is great for the price. This tv was easy to set up, to operate and use. This tv has great picture quality, especially for the price we paid for it. It was for my son who was maybe 11 when we purchased it. We weren't going to spend a lot on a tv for a child. It is in my son's room and has held up very well being used by a teenage boy. If he is home, the tv is on and stays on until he goes to bed. And he has never had any issues with the TV. It has turned out to be a great tv and I would definitely buy this brand again.
