I made an order for my glasses on 02/21/2019 and it’s still not here. My dad was like, "Does it really have to be exactly 21 days?" I haven’t been driving because I can’t see. I don’t think I can wait any longer. I give up. Wow Zenni. It’s been on manufactured since the 24th. I know this a good company because I have seen a lot of good reviews, just don’t choose standard shipping if you need it fast. I had all this joy when I made my order but now I am like where are my glasses.

Moreover, we would like to provide some information we hope will be helpful. Around the beginning of February each year, our lab is closed briefly for annual maintenance. We regret that this causes a backlog of orders, some of which are not delivered within the 14-21-day delivery time promise for Standard shipping. However, we are happy to confirm that your glasses are being mailed to you today, and we expect that you should have the glasses no later than Monday, March 11, but most likely sooner. We are separately emailing you the U.S. Postal Service tracking number, so that you may keep tabs on the package as it makes its way to you in Texas. If your glasses are not delivered by Thursday, March 14, the 21st day after you placed the order, please telephone Zenni Optical Customer Service and anyone who answers will be eager to assist you with a refund of your $4.95 shipping fee, since we would not have fulfilled our delivery time promise to you. I will admit that I was apprehensive about buying glasses online. I have no line bi-focals and need correction for an astigmatism. But I took the plunge and I am glad I did. My last pair of glasses from a well known national chain cost over $600.00. I just did not want to pay that much again. The pair I bought from Zenni, with the same Transition lens, about $145. I am very happy with how well I can see with them, and the quality seems very good. And I saved $500.00. To me that's not a small amount. I highly recommend Zenni.

I just received my first order from Zenni, these glasses have no effect, my prescription information wasn't used at all, they seem to be just clear plastic, not happy at all, I want what I paid for, or a full refund.

We see that you did not include any values in the Sphere section of the prescription, which addresses nearsightedness and farsightedness. If you intended to include prescription values in the Sphere section for each eye, we are sorry that these were not included. Moreover, very minor corrections were included in the Cylinder section of the prescription, which, in combination with the AXIS values, are intended to correct an astigmatism. Since you advise that your prescription information was not used, we invite you to telephone Zenni Optical Customer Service and anyone who answers will be eager to assist you. You also could have an online Chat with one of our customer service representatives or email us and include in the email an attached copy of the prescription you got from your eye doctors. The order was processed relatively quickly. Shipping time is as expected because the manufacturing is done in Hong Kong. The eyeglasses I received is in excellent condition. Zenni got the prescriptions right, so no issues with the lenses so far. I used the specs from my old glasses to ensure my new glasses will fit and it did. Pricing is very good. Much better than the retail stores that charge absurd and outrageous prices. I used my benefits so I ended up paying almost nothing. I told my co-worker about Zenni. He might consider giving it a shot because he recently got ripped off by a retailer. He paid $600 omw.

Ordered several eyeglasses over the last few years with good quality and relatively fast shipping even standard. But this year I ordered on 02/18/2019 and the shipping has been absolutely terrible, (guess my fault for using standard shipping) which I think just tells the company they can place on the back burner. Customer is not in any hurry, and online tracking has said they have been manufactured since 3 days after my placed order, and still does. I was reading other reviews and seen the same problem with another customer and he was told that this time of year the plant is shut down for maintenance. If this is true why not tell customers upfront. I need my glasses. I will probably not order again from Zenni. I can get glasses local in same day, they may be more expensive but at least I can get them. Just terrible Zenni. Terrible!

I’m disappointed with my order. I love my glasses and we can see that the frame is of a good quality. There’s long time I buy glasses from Zenni. I have to buy one per year because my eyes change a lot. At first my dad did my orders with his account. It’s now my second one that I buy on my own, but this time I was disappointed because I chose lenses of quality and I didn’t expect them to be all scratched in only fours months! My left lens is really scratched, the right one isn’t so bad that’s why I don’t understand why the other one is since it’s supposed to be the same kind of lens. My order number is **.

I've been ordering glasses online with Zenni for the last couple of years. They are affordable and I've never had a problem ordering online. Last month I got a new eye prescription and ordered a new pair of glasses from Zenni. Unfortunately I can't see with these new glasses. I double checked that I entered my prescription and PD correctly and I did. I'm really disappointed. May have to look for glasses elsewhere.

Just got new polarized sunglasses from Zenni. While driving, it did not seem that polarization was working as well as my old glasses. Holding up to a computer screen, I see large stress marks **. I compared with older polarized glasses. All showed minor stress marks, but this pair seems wrong. They offered a 50% refund, or a store credit, but seemed to indicate that this was their normal quality.
"We're sorry to hear you're having difficulties with your glasses. We have checked with our lab technicians and we would like to tell you that it is not a defect and it is caused by the stress of polarized lenses. It will appear when you used the polarized lenses in front of a computer/cell phone. Please note that polarized lenses are not designed for computer use. The issue will disappear when you wear the polarized glasses outside."

Our lab advised that polarized sunglasses are not intended to be used while looking at a computer screen, and that the stress marks that show up around the edges of the lenses in the picture you supplied appear to indicate that the polarization is correct. Nevertheless, your first purchase with Zenni Optical, in 2011, was for polarized sunglasses, and we see no notes in the database record of that order indicating that you contacted us about any issues with those glasses. Therefore, it is good to see that our lab suggested that you send these glasses back to us for an inspection, so that we may determine whether we made the polarization correctly on these bifocal sunglasses. Seems that Zenni has lost their way. I have been ordering glasses since Zenni first started offering online ordering. Glasses have always been done in a timely fashion and of acceptable quality. This time I got an email 2 days after ordering saying glasses are being manufactured. 2 weeks later still showing same. I called to see if there is an issue and was told it's because I chose standard shipping.
The problem with that is shipping has nothing at all to do with manufacturing. When I questioned the fact that glasses hadn't even been shipped, I was told that the glasses are manufactured overseas and then have to be shipped to a warehouse in California. It has never taken anywhere near as long to get glasses from Zenni. I don't know what they changed but it's a poor business decision. Very unsatisfied more because of the misinformation blaming shipping on time delay in manufacturing. I really dislike and distrust companies willing to lie to customers. No more orders from Zenni for this family.

Got my glasses w/ a nose pad missing... They said it got lost in the mail! It just flew off and right thru the pkg off into space! Obviously it was NOT on the glasses when shipped and no one cared. They eventually sent me a screw/nosepad/screwdriver. The screw is the size of a flea and the angle is so odd that no human hand could possible install the screw (obviously it is done by machine at the factory). I wrote 6 times and all I got was flowery words. Not one word about a refund or replacement. Yes the glasses are cheap but beware - so is the "customer service" which is basically you are on your own. Goggles4U is a class act. PLEASE buy from them NOT Zenni.

This is the second time I have ordered from Zenni. The first time they sent me the wrong glasses and when I called them they accused me of lying and demanded pictures. Only after I sent them the pictures of the wrong glasses they gave me a shipping label to send them back. They then stated that they would make my glasses again and when they find my original glasses they would sent them to me as well as an apology. I only received one pair of glasses. Flash forward to two years when I was in a bind and I bought a pair of glasses and a pair of sunglasses.
It took them 3 weeks to even ship the glasses after my order has been switched to manufactured after the first week. And then now come to find out they left my apartment number off of my shipping address and my post office returned them to sender because of it. Now I have been waiting on hold for 30 minutes to talk to someone about the situation. Just got off the phone with a rep. I have to now wait for them to to receive the glasses to then add my apartment number to then get sent back it will probably be another week. Do yourself a favor and buy from Firmoo or Discount Glasses they only take about a week to receive and you will actually receive your glasses.

I have been ordering with Zenni Optical for about four years now and I usually go with the full-rim style of glasses. The interactions I’ve had with their customer service have been good and I didn’t have any problems. The online ordering process is really easy and it takes about a week for me to receive my glasses. The quality of the glasses is good and I haven’t broken any. I recommended Zenni to my best friend.

I ordered progressive glasses from Zenni and received the glasses about 3 weeks later (I think their glasses are made in China). I tried them on and could not see very well, so I contacted Zenni customer service. Then I was told to return the glasses for inspection. They finally inspected my glasses after 8 days of receiving them and determined they needed to remake the glasses or I could choose to receive 100% one time store credit. I emailed them and requested for the full refund to my credit card since this was not my fault. My request was ignored and I received the email below.
"A one-time store credit (excluding shipping and any promotional discount if applicable) has been generated in the amount of $67.80 in your account. The store credit is tied to your Zenni account – in order to apply it to a future order, simply select it as a payment during the checkout process. There is no number to enter on the order. The store credit never expires and can be spread across multiple orders until it is all used up. Once an order is placed and paid for, either fully or partially, with a Store Credit, it cannot be returned for another Store Credit. If a return is authorized, the regular 50% refund return option will apply. If you have any questions regarding our return policy, please refer to our Return Policy under Terms of Use, located on the bottom of any page on our website." Does this mean I only get 50% refund next time when I have to return the glasses to Zenni because they did not make it right?? This is wrong in my opinion.

The prices at Zenni Optical were cheaper compared to other eyewear company so I was surprised with the quality. I expected it to be a little more flimsy than it was so I was impressed. The ordering process was also easy. The hardest part was deciding what pair of glasses we wanted. It took us time. I got a pair of glasses for my daughter, which has a clear-ish, cream-colored with brown on them, and they’re a bit bigger. Other than that, we got her name put on the inside and we’re happy with that.

Hello, I've ordered my new driving/daily glasses off of Zenni Optical. They took 3 weeks to arrive. I have checked the blue light blocking box but they seem to have put no blue light blocking lenses in them. That alone was near half of the order price and they don't even block the UV/blue light, thanks.

Zenni was less expensive than paying $200 and something dollars for a pair of glasses. The first pair I bought from them seemed to be okay. But the second pair that I got is just plastic, and I really didn’t like the quality. They're unlike the other ones that are plastic but very lightweight and thin. Also, I don’t think my prescription is correct with it. So I gotta check with my optometrist because they sent me the numbers, and I know I sent them to Zenni. I don’t know if they’ve made a mistake or who has made a mistake, but they're like progressive lenses and they’re not supposed to be. When I move my head up and down, I can see the difference. But the whole lens should be the same because it’s for a computer and reading, so it’s a close-up. The glasses have been giving me headaches wearing them, so I don’t wear them very often. However, I may have picked out the wrong pair, so it’s probably my fault.

Updated on 03/12/2019: So this is my second review about Zenni. My last issue was they had a shipping delay that they didn't notify customers about, the only way you would know did they had a shipping delay is if you went and look through their FAQs or a customer service agent told you directly. When Zenni saw my review on this site they promptly contacted me and expedited shipping, but they did not give me a reason why their agents lied to me on multiple occasions. One pair of my glasses was also missing from the package. But before I wrote them off, I decided to give them one more chance and I ordered two pair of sunglasses from them on February 27th. I was able to select expedited shipping this time because there was no 6 date delay.
Today is the 13th day of the 10 to 14 day shipping time frame. And I have call customer service to get an update because this site just says manufactured and not sent. The agent told me that they had been shipped. The site just hadn't been updated. So ask them when they would arrive and he didn't have an answer. Oh, but they are supposed to arrive tomorrow.
So I asked him about the replacement order for the glasses that were supposed to be in the original package and he said they would be here Thursday. Which I find kind of funny because when I asked them could they ship the packages together they said my sunglass order would be here way before my reorder of glasses, this company has no regard for anyone's time and they will willingly lie to you on the phone if they think it's going to make you happier. I would rather you tell me the truth and be disappointed, than lie and be upset. I would never order another pair glasses from Zenni and anyone else ordering beware. The glasses may be cheap and they might also be good quality but this company's customer service is by far the worst in the prescription glass industry.
Original Review: I placed an order for 3 pairs of glasses and 1 pair of sunglasses on 02/04/2019. The system didn't give me the option to select anything but Standard Shipping, which is 14-21 days. On 02/07/2019 I receive an email saying my order is currently being manufactured. So you think yay, everything is moving along quickly, WRONG!!! I call in a few days ago because I haven't received a shipment update for my glasses. They tell me that since I "selected" standard shipping (I had no choice) that the shipment update will be there soon. So by day 17 of the 14-21 day timeframe I still haven't received a shipment update or a tracking number or a "your package may be delayed" type of email, nothing that says they are working on my concerns.
So, I call again on 2/21/2019, because by their records my glasses should be here by the 25th. A gentleman answers the phone and I explain the situation and he says, "Oh yeah we notified you that it would be up to a 6 day delay when you ordered"... Um, no the hell you didn't. The last person I spoke to on chat and on the phone didn't mention this and there was no alert on the website. How would I possibly know this? I received one email from Zenni and it was about manufacturing of the glasses and that email stated that the glasses would be here between a certain time frame...
Well it is now 02/22/2019 and I have no Shipping info and unless they ship my glasses out today they will not be here on time. I will be going on vacation 02/26/19. I live in an apartment complex in a nice neighborhood and the delivery driver will likely leave 200 dollars worth of glasses at my doorstep and inevitably some delinquent kid will take my glasses. The 60 dollar shades I bought were for vacation. So on top of your Customer service being lying garbage, your logistics team is garbage and whomever's job is it to notify customers of delay is also hot garbage.

I don't know why I have to wait 14-21 days for my glasses. I am a prime online shopper and if all the other online companies can get me my product within a day or two or even specialist products within a week, I don't see why they can't do the same. My status is currently "manufactured". It has been that way for 9 DAYS! Why are they not shipping it? Plus I am less than 20 miles from them. There is not even an option for expedited shipping. I would have been happy to pay the extra money. Such a pain. There are soo many options other there. I will never use them again.

I’ve ordered from Zenni Optical for quite a long time. The glasses are very well-priced and the quality is great. We went to America's best and I had my eyes re-examined recently. I ordered glasses from Zenni like I normally do but when I got them, I can’t see out of them. America's Best gave me the wrong prescription and they’re actually refunding me back my money.
I was trying to get a hold of Zenni Optical so I could send these glasses back until I can get a new exam so I can reorder. I have been emailing them and they don't understand my issue. I tried to call them but then there was a long hold time and then the line just cut off. Even so, the online ordering process with Zenni was very easy. I’ve ordered at least 15 pairs over the course of 7 years and I’ve actually ordered some readers for my daughter. Also, I hate when they retire glasses. I have a pair on now that I get wonderful compliments on. They’re my favorite color but they retired now and I can’t reorder them when I get a new prescription. Nevertheless, I recommend Zenni Optical all the time.

My brother uses Zenni and I thought I would use them as well. Their glasses are cute and cheap, and the ordering process is super easy. I went with the full rim glasses. But I don't think the prescription was good. Even my husband had a pair from them and he said the prescription wasn't right. I haven't had the time to contact them yet, but I was going to get my eyes checked again and see. Zenni needs to, for free, fix my glasses and send them back.

I tried on some glasses at a store and figured out what I liked. I found them on Zenni and then I ordered them. However, it was a little difficult looking for the glasses online because everything was white so you couldn’t see the individual frames sometimes. Other than that issue, my experience was good. I tried to take advantage of the feature where I can try them on virtually, but I didn’t really like it. A better referral bonus would be nice too. Nevertheless, the cost was great and my order arrived super fast. Everything was perfect.

I ordered and got frames from Zenni. Loved the frames BUT when the tech went to put the lenses in the frames they broke and Zenni will NOT send another frame. So I'm out the cost of the frames PLUS the $225 cost of the lenses too. WHAT a waste. We're on SS so it's a huge loss to us. DON'T deal with Zenni. BEWARE.

I ordered these glasses after becoming frustrated shopping for glasses locally and through Warby Parker. I wanted small, round, tortoiseshell frames. It sounds like a short order but I've been looking, in vain, for 3 years. I started looking online more broadly and stumbled upon Zenni. I found this pair but I was nervous about not being able to try them on. The virtual try-on seemed to look OK and, because they cost a fraction of the price I would have had to pay to buy them from an optician, I decided to go for it. I couldn't be happier. I was surprised that the quality actually felt good, better than Warby Parker plastic frames that I've tried in the past.
While the the Warby Parker frames were stylistically alright, they kind of creaked when they opened and closed. I could tell they were cheap. These ones open and close smoothly. The plastics looks great. The lenses are clear and the prescription is perfect. I also splurged for the oleophobic coating which actually works. This is the first pair of glasses I've owned that actually rub clean with the cloth provided. Other glasses I had required I use soap and water or purchase special wet wipes in order to get grease smudges off. Finally, they are adorable. I am a college professor and I have received many compliments from my students. Two even asked where I got them and, when I told them, they wrote down the name of the website. I will continue to recommend this company.

I stumbled upon a Zenni Optical ad online and the prices seemed to be fairly decent. I ordered from them and then did again this time, but it was my own mistake. I ordered the wrong thing, so I had to reorder again. The actual ordering process is really easy, though. You take a picture of yourself and you can try on the different frames, so you have an idea what they look like. Then, you just fill in your prescription and that's pretty much it. My order took about two weeks to come in. I ended up getting a half-rimmed wire frame. The glasses seem to have good quality, about the same as what you’ll get if you went to a regular optometrist or from a local eye doctor. Overall, I’m pretty satisfied with Zenni Optical. I actually have recommended them to another person.

I ordered a glass and used my current address and shipping and billing but they sent it to my previous address. When I asked them to resolve this issue they just said it's already been ship and maybe I can go pick up at my old address.

I have contacted Zenni in regards to film on lens, that gets worse when you try to clean them. They sent me a second pair that took a while to get due to their prescription company being in China, in any case. The second pair came back with the same problem. The rep. at Zenni I talked to was very nice. However the response person sent an email...that pissed me off. Suggesting the picture I sent of second pair...which looked like first pair was just dirt.
They have agreed to send label for me to send glasses back, and stated they have to look at them and decide whether they will give me a refund or not. I thought I was happy when I first received glasses the first time, even gave a good review, that is until you wear them or touch the lens which leaves all kinds of film, your fingerprint, anything that touches the lens shows up. I am going to await their decision, and go from there, as I have asked for a refund. I have worn glasses all my life, and know dirt from a cloudy film, That smears all over lens and is hell to clean and see out of.

Updated on 03/12/2019: This is a follow up to my original review of February 18, 2019. Zenni responded to my original review wherein they confirmed that the glasses were made incorrectly. Quote: "We found that the reading addition correction on one lens was out of tolerance of the value you entered..." Also in their response, Zenni offered to refund my purchase price if I wish. Quote: "Otherwise, if you prefer a full refund of the price of the order to your PayPal account, $84.85, we can issue this refund."
I made it clear in the letter I sent with the glasses that I wanted my money refunded. In addition, I responded to Zenni's response to my review wherein I again made it clear that I wanted my purchase refunded. Nearly another month has passed and no refund from Zenni. It is clear to me that they have no intention of refunding my money. As I said in my original review, I feel like Zenni stole $84.85 from me. I urge extreme caution to anyone considering a purchase from Zenni Optical. Buyer beware!
Original Review: Using a prescription I received from Pearle Vision a few months earlier, I ordered glasses from Zenni Optical on December 30, 2018 order ** at a cost of $84.85. On about January 10, 2019, I received my glasses from Zenni Optical. Unfortunately, I could not see out of the glasses. Not even close! I was concerned that the prescription I received from Pearle Vision was wrong, so on January 12, 2019 I had my eyes independently examined at EyeGlass World for an additional $49.00. EyeGlass World's prescription closely matched Pearle Vision's prescription.
On January 13, 2019, tried to call Zenni Optical's 800 number for assistance. After 20 minutes on hold, I gave up and tried instead to use Zenni Optical's online chat service. I waited at my keyboard for 8 minutes with no reply to my attempt at communication. Unable to contact Zenni Optical, on January 15, 2019, I shipped the glasses back to Zenni Optical via UPS for an additional $11.71. I included a letter to Zenni Optical explaining that the glasses were defective and I was unable to contact Zenni Optical. I wanted my money back. My total cost so far is $84.85, $49.00, and $11.71 for a total of $145.56.
It is now February 17, 2019; over a month since I returned the glasses to Zenni Optical. I haven't seen a single cent of my money, nor has Zenni Optical replaced my glasses. I have nothing for the $84.85 I paid Zenni Optical. This was my first order from Zenni Optical. It will certainly be my last order from Zenni Optical. I feel like Zenni Optical stole $84.85 from me. I urge extreme caution to anyone thinking about ordering from Zenni Optical.

I got my eyes checked and got some glasses from where I go to but I wanted an inexpensive backup pair. So far, I am satisfied with my purchase from Zenni. When I bought the glasses, I picked a frame and I liked how I could upload my picture. I could try them on before I buy them. It was easy to put all the measurements and purchasing from them was like normally purchasing stuff online. However, I didn’t like the format when navigating the website on my phone because when I clicked on a picture to try them on, I would go back and it would take me all the way to the top of the webpage instead of the spot where I was before. That aside, Zenni is affordable and has a lot better quality than I expected for the price so, it’s not a bad investment at all.

I’ve sent one back because I didn’t like what it looked and their customer service has been great. Their online ordering process is also awesome. My first time shopping at Zenni Optical I ordered frames with prescription lenses. I also added on the Blokz Blue Blockers and paid extra for the Premium oil and fingerprint resistant coating. When I received the glasses everything looked fine until I accidentally touched one of the lenses and a very noticeable fingerprint was left behind. I paid extra for the coating so I wouldn't have to worry about fingerprints or oil from my lashes showing up on my glasses. On top of that there are scratches on the front middle of the frames near the left lenses that are fairly noticeable. I was so excited when I ordered the glasses but not so much anymore. I'm not mad, just disappointed!

We were sorry to learn that a fingerprint was left on one of the lenses, and that scratches have appeared on the eyeglasses frame. Consequently, we want to apologize for any disappointment you experienced as a result. First, regarding the lenses, we want to confirm that the anti-reflective coating does not prevent fingerprints from smudging the lenses, but it does reduce the impression on the lens left by fingerprints. The microfiber cloth enclosed with the glasses can be used to clean the lenses. We recommend that you breathe on the lenses to steam them up, then gently use the microfiber cloth to clean the lenses. If, say, mascara from your eyelashes or facial oils get on the lenses, you may want to use warm water and mild hand soap, containing no lotion, to clean the glasses. In addition, we have found that 50 percent isopropyl alcohol is a safe and effective lens cleaner. This can be used by moistening the microfiber cloth with the isopropyl alcohol and using it to clean the lenses. We hope that this information is helpful. In addition, regarding the scratches on the frame, since you are within the 30-day warranty period on this order, we are sending you a free replacement frame, so that you may swap the lenses from the scratched frame into the new one. I cannot justify spending $400 on a pair of glasses. I do not make a lot of money, and I have two children. I had put off getting glasses for 10 years. So when Zenni was a lot cheaper, I decided to buy from them. I purchased two pairs of glasses from them. Glasses was one and then I saw a pair of prescription sunglasses, which I also love. I love the fact that I can see now and that’s amazing. In both times that I’ve ordered, it’s been super easy. You just go in, and pick out what you want. And the quality of the product and the options are great. There’s a million of them, and the styles are good. They fit very well. I can’t complain and I’ve been telling everybody to go there. I would definitely recommend them.

Overall I would say this website is good. I've ordered from them in the past and have been happy with my purchase. One complaint I have is that some glasses are posted incorrectly I believe. I saw this when purchasing aviator glasses. I decided I wanted larger lenses than are on my everyday glasses(which I also got from Zenni). The lens size is definitely larger than what I had ordered in the past. I got the Aviators in the mail today and the lenses were much smaller and do not fit my face at all. My brother had also bought aviators off of Zenni and refuses to go back since his experience was the same as mine. Aviators are supposed to be large on the face not small.

Next to Details is Description. If you click on this, you can see a description of the frame. The frame you selected, 4191, has a frame width of 132 mm. For this frame, under Description, we advise that the same frame style comes in a larger model, 4190, which has a frame width of 140 mm. Model 4189 is a similarly styled frame, but with a different lens shape – which is more of a rounded rectangle than the rounded triangular shape of 4191 and 4190. The two previous frames you ordered from Zenni, 146321 (black rectangular half-rim glasses with faux-wood streaked temple arms) and 286921 (black plastic rectangular full-rim glasses with green on the inside of the temple arms) have 136 mm and 137 mm frame widths, respectively. Since you mention that 419119 is too small to fit you well, we are going to refund the price of the glasses, $6.95, in the form of store credit to your Zenni Optical account. You will not have to send these glasses back to us. You should get an email later tonight, confirming the store credit refund. Then you may simply use the store credit to order the glasses in frame model 419019, which, with a frame width of 140 mm, should fit you better than 419119. Since it is a little larger than frames 146321 and 286921, and you advised that you feel aviators should be “large on the face,” we hope that the 140 mm frame width of 419019 will accomplish this for you. Zenni Optical is doing good to me and I've been getting glasses from them since last year. Their glasses are affordable and I have eight pairs of them now. All of the glasses fit me really well and I like them. The big, round glasses with thick frames are my favorite. A friend told me about Zenni and if another friend asks me where I got my glasses, I would tell them all the information on how to get to Zenni.

A friend of mine used Zenni's site and recommended it to me. I asked them some questions regarding the fit and pupillary distance. The rep was helpful and he figured how to measure that. Ordering online was easy and everything was there for me. Adding on things to the glasses was pretty self-explanatory too. However, I would like for them to enable me to engrave my own or customize a thing on the side of your glasses. Still, the glasses I got from them have been good and the fit was exactly what I expected. They got here on time and I definitely wanna order another pair of glasses from them.

I got Zenni's when I needed a new pair while between having vision insurance. That aspect Zenni's is good (being able to get glasses w/out the cost of dr visits, needing insurance, etc.) But when I was able to go to professional optometrists in person they showed me how the lenses in the Zenni's weren't centered. Not a total deal breaker.
What is the deal breaker is that their delivery time is over a month. I didn't realize it was going to be so long. I'm in the process of moving and literally do not know what my address is going to be that far out. When I called to cancel - less than 24 hours later - they did not give me a full refund. They did not refund shipping costs which, given that nothing was going to be shipped for weeks, I found ridiculous and disingenuous that I was penalized because they don't have their production act together right now.

Thank you Zenni! I ordered my glasses on January 18th. I was hesitant, merely due to my own personal bad experiences, because I had a great Rx from 5 years ago. It was time for a updated pair of glasses. I decided to go to the VA in Cleveland Ohio 3 years ago. Long story, but they completely ruined my Rx. So, I went to America's Best to have them correct it. They chose not to listen to their patient, after I tried to explain what happened and knowing I have a very strong astigmatism, it very important my vision is crisp and sharp.
I am very particular with my lenses and Rx. America's Best said they were the doctors and I shouldn't question their expertise and wouldn't give my PD, but yet I left with a Rx that wasn't good at all. There was glare around lights, the computer screen was fuzzy, etc. So, I tried myself to tweak my Rx (from my previous good one) and I have ordered from previous online dealers and just not good quality and wasted my money. I finally fix my own Rx (after a long time of it being wrong) and hesitant to order online, but decided to try Zenni.
After my long-winded story. Thank you Zenni, I am very pleased with the new glasses. The quality of materials used in your lenses are great. The care put forth in the shipping and how you wrapped them showed you care. I have already been receiving nice compliments on the frame and how you "pre" adjusted them was terrific. Zenni Optical was referred to me by some friends at church and my son as well. However, there was a little bit of confusion getting their website to work. The website picture, getting set up to try them on and order was a big deal. I got my wife on as well and we couldn't quite get it to work well for her. She had a real hard time keeping the crosshairs lined up on her face. She would put them on her pupil and then when she let go, they would move. So, it wasn’t quite working as advertised. But I wound up ordering and I did wind up paying more money for my bifocals transitions than other people who were paying just for regular glasses. I was not expecting to be priced where I came in at, but it is what it is, so I still bought them. And I'm pleased with my glasses. They're fine and they're still good.

Prior to that, I’ve always been leery about ordering any glasses online but now that I know someone who had directly used Zenni, I gave it a try, too. Ordering online was simple and easy enough. I found out about Zenni on the net 10 years ago and the first time I bought the glasses was in 2009. It’s cheaper than others but sometimes, it’s difficult to find the pupil once you put your pupil area distance. Nevertheless, the application is nice when finding styles or glasses that fit to my face. So far, I have had no issues with customer service. I ordered the things, I got confirmation that my order was being processed, and I got the product delivered in an instant course of time. It takes about three weeks and the glasses are delivered.
I've ordered six pairs so far and one of the branches broke after five years but I work with glasses very much and I was not very gentle with it. I like the new feature that you can rotate 360 degrees the frame that you're looking at. It gives you a good idea of what it would be like. So far, my experience with Zenni has been good although you should be careful with buying the glasses and you should read the comments or descriptions very carefully.

A friend of mine told me to check Zenni's glasses out and that they’re relatively cheap. I ordered a pair of full rim, rectangular, metal glasses. I essentially got them as more of a spare set to wear outside doing this or that. I don’t care quite as much about if something happens to a pair of $50 glasses than a couple hundred dollar pair of glasses. My glasses from Zenni is of good quality.

I've been completely satisfied with Zenni. I like that there's not as much markup. Whether you have eye insurance or not, it really doesn't matter because the cost is relatively the same, if not better with Zenni. Their website is fine to me, and the shipping is reasonable. It takes a month to get a pair of glasses from the time that you order until the time they're shipped in your house. It's about the same time when you order glasses from the eye doctor's place. So, it's not a big deal. Last year, we ordered two pairs of glasses for my son. And I got two pairs this year, and we ordered my son another pair. The glasses are of higher quality than I expected to get, especially with my glasses. But it's hard to make childproof glasses. The silicone rubber coating on the frames of my son's glasses tends to pull away.

The regular prices where we get my daughter's glasses are expensive and she breaks them quite often, so we go through a lot. Zenni is a cheaper way of her having glasses all year round and it not costing a fortune. Two of my elder daughters have also ordered from them. The kids picked out what they wanted and they went from there. We weren’t sure when it came to the measurements for my younger daughter. We were gonna get multiple pairs, but I didn’t want to get it and it wouldn’t fit her. She got a little frustrated, but she figured it out and the glasses came and it fit. They came in a decent manner and she's very pleased with what she got. She's really excited and looking forward to getting back online and ordering a few more different styles. The kids had a pretty good experience.

If you are looking for cheap glasses, then Zenni Optical is the place for you. They have a good selection of frames. I got a pair but its style wasn't my type and the glasses looked cheaply made. But I paid 26 for a pair so I wasn't expecting much. The glasses came fine and everything was good but if I want something that will last longer, I'll go ahead and pay for name brand glasses.

I have purchased quite a few pairs of glasses from Zenni but have not once had a good experience with their progressive lenses. My most recent pair is completely unusable. If you have a single vision prescription (which I have been happy with) or maybe bifocals (which I have not tried) then this site is for you. Cute, inexpensive frames which is especially great for those of us who like having more than one option to wear at a time, however, based on my experience with their progressives I say go elsewhere. Zenni gets 4 stars for selection of frames, ease of website and solid customer service. Overall though if I get I product that I can not even use then sorry Zenni, I will be going elsewhere for my progressives.

I've been ordering from Zenni for the last couple of years and it takes three weeks to get the glasses. One time, I ordered one pair of bifocal type and they made me nauseous. I returned them and they gave me a full refund on the account. I just ordered something else. They were great about it, so their customer service was good. I haven’t had any problems. I refer them to everybody I know. I’ve had my coworkers, friends and other people order from Zenni.

I've ordered several pairs of glasses from Zenni Optical and both the cost and quality have been good. However, if you find something you like and you have to go back to try to find it, it is hard to locate since everything is by number. The shipping also usually takes a couple of weeks and I wish it was faster. Even so, I would recommend Zenni Optical.

I was looking for a red pair of glasses with a rectangular style, which I was able to find at Zenni's website. They were able to assist me. I checked on how long I needed to wait for the glasses. It seemed like it was a long time. But after that, they were able to give me a timeframe of when to expect them to be shipped. I was satisfied with the outcome. I received my glasses yesterday. Immediately upon putting them on I had to laugh. I could see nothing unless I was six inches away. I gave them the same prescription of the glasses I am using while typing this. Then trying to get help - ugh. Over an hour of total phone hold time once I was actually able to get through. A number of times I got a recording saying all circuits were busy. Refund - 50%. I just wasted a lot of my time and money for garbage glasses. Do yourself a favor - go to Walgreens and buy some readers. It would be a better choice.

Wow! I just received my new glasses and came to the site to share my enthusiasm for a wonderful experience. How absolutely surprised I am to see many dissatisfied reviews. But kudos to the company for responding. As for me, I am absolutely thrilled with my glasses. Probably the most favorite ones I've ever had. I hate wearing glasses. But these are lightweight, attractive and the prescription is perfect. They are better than many I've had made through optometrist offices. I bought these as a temporary back up pair, so the price was right and I received them in 10 days! I am sorry for those of you who had less than a satisfactory experience. “Defective lenses” - Long story short, I’ve been waiting over two months now for at least one pair of glasses to be made correctly. Major inconvenience if your prescription has changed, and you’re stuck wearing an old pair...

I've gone with 39DollarGlasses.com in the past, and have always been satisfied. This time I thought I'd save a few bucks on a pair of back-up glasses, based on largely positive reviews. Living in central Mexico, I had to pay a third party to bring them down from Texas, but even with that extra expense it still appeared to be an economical option... However, the prescription was badly botched, and the glasses are totally unusable. Totally. Trying to wear them is dizzying. Zenni maintains that they followed the prescription, but I've verified (and they agree!) that the prescription I furnished was identical to my current pair, made here in San Miguel just a month ago. That is, the Rx is current and correct.
Upshot: they've agreed to reimburse shipping but only if a) I first pay to ship them back, and b) then their examination finds a problem. If their review of their own work concludes that they did nothing wrong, then I pay the shipping and write them off as good money after bad. Instead, I'm using the frames and having a local optician, who will stand behind his work, make them correctly. Next time I try online glasses, I'll pay a little more and get them from 39DollarGlasses and get them done right the first time.

Since the shipping address is in the U.S., we could email you a prepaid shipping label to send the glasses back to us from the Laredo, Texas, location. However, you are correct that customers returning international orders must pay for the return shipping themselves, and you would have to mail the glasses from your location in Mexico to the Laredo, Texas, address. Then if our inspection of the glasses finds any defect, we could remake the glasses and refund the initial shipping fee, or issue a full store credit refund to your credit card, which would include the initial shipping fee. We were also sorry to learn that, rather than send the glasses back for inspection or store credit you would prefer to keep the frame and order lenses from a local optical retailer. We hope that you will reconsider this choice, but if you do not, we hope that you are pleased with the prescription lenses you will receive.

I haven't been able to navigate the Zenni website in days. It just "buffers" or freezes. I have tried to access it from 2 computers other than mine and I'm experiencing the same issues on them. All I want to do is order a frame - I don't even want lenses in them. After 2 consecutive days of waiting forever to speak to someone about this all I got was: on day one (after being on hold for about 15 minutes) that someone would email me regarding the issue (big surprise...no email). The following day I was told "if you can't order online I can't help you". Seriously? This is how you treat your customers? I have been happy with them previously, but this is not how I expect to be treated.

A few months ago I ordered eyeglasses with the most expensive possible lenses (1.74 High-index) that were supposed to be scratch-resistant. Earlier this week I noticed that one of the lenses already has several scratches although I have not done anything that would cause that. Relative to lenses I have used in these are clearly much lower quality and don't seem to have any scratch protection. When I spoke with Zenni Optical's support they told me that the warranty is valid for 30 days only (in other words there is no real warranty) and that the anti-scratch protection was a "free" add-on which is also not true. Zenni Optical is misleading its customers regarding the quality of the lenses and not offering any support after so I will never buy from them again.

However, insofar as this is your first Zenni Optical order, we will make a customer service exception on your behalf to extend the warranty for you. I paid for express shipping (7-10 days) and used a prepaid gift card for the transaction. When this gift card was used up, I threw it away, as it was not reusable. I was informed by an email from Zenni that the shipment of my items was going to be delayed. They reported that my gift card was reinstated for the cost of shipping, for the delay. I had long since disposed of the card, unfortunately. When I called Zenni they told me they would offer me store credit. I don't need store credit. However I needed the money put on my personal bank card instead. The representative reported that that was not possible.
I asked to speak with a supervisor, and they said I would receive a call within the next hour from a supervisor. Three hours later I called back and again asked to speak with a manager. They then said a callback would take between 24 and 48 hours, that a manager was not on duty. So now I wait. I am so disappointed because I ordered new glasses for a specific work function, and now will not have the glasses in time for the event. I feel I deserve compensation for this level of service. I really just need to have the money taken off of the gift card and put on my personal bank card. I have been a loyal Zenni customer, but I am now considering other options for my eye care needs.

Updated on 01/18/2019: This my 3rd review this week! It is very early 5:15 am est. on Friday 18th day of January 2019. I still see that Zenni are still dancing around what happen. They still say that I ordered 2 pair of eyeglasses. If I had ordered 2 pair (I did not )why would I want to return 1 pair. I do like the eyeglasses, I just do not like the business practices of Zenni. I was on the phone with one of Zenni customers service representatives as I placed my order online. I understand that Zenni does not take orders over the phone. The representative that was helping me walked me through the order form. I do not know how this could have happened. I know that I was only ordering just one pair of eyeglasses!!!
Updated on 01/16/2019: On 1.15.19, I wrote my personal response after your response to me. Yes if you would like to credit back my shipping that I paid on my credit card. But, in my review I told Zenni I will never buy anything from Zenni. So what am I going to use a store credit? They also mentioned the 2 different type of eyeglasses that were mailed to me, I am sorry I have no clue what you are talking about. Can someone please tell me what are the differences? I am not trying to get anything for free. I just wished we could come together and work this out.
Original Review: Today 1.15.19. On December 29th 2018 went online and ordered my eyeglasses and received them on 1.14.15. I order 1 pair of glasses and received 2 pair. Today I call to find out why I received 2 pair? First they told me that I ordered 2 pair, after speaking to the person which I had a hard time understanding, he told me that I can send 1 pair back and get 100% but I had to pay the shipping. Then he told me that I could get 50% back and I still had to pay for shipping. I asked to speak to his boss, was told they would have someone call me in next 24 hours, to get this answer I had to ask 2 times. As of now I have no clue what will happen. I will never use Zenni ever again.. If you are looking to buy eyeglasses I would not do it.

I liked everything I can remember about Zenni Optical's website. Ordering was easy. The only thing that could use a bit of work is the process of actually comparing the fit photo between several pairs of glasses. I often found that I was bumped back to another menu that wasn’t quite the photo and display option that I was looking for. It was a handful of clicks separating one photo from the one that I was hoping to compare to. Also, for their return policy, you will pay for shipping back as well as get only half of the price of the glasses back, which I understand because they do custom orders on glasses all the time and whatnot. But they have the cheapest prices and frames that are very stylish. I like it so much that I converted my girlfriend. She has made a purchase, and when she did, I got an extra set from them. I really like their business.

I heard through a friend that Zenni Optical had affordable glasses. I've been ordering from them since I was in high school. More recently, I have gotten an email which says that my glasses from Zenni were shipped. However, we still haven't gotten them. Normally, it takes a little while for the glasses to come in. Also, the quality of the product is not like the name brand quality. Even so, I've had the pair that I have for two and a half years and they haven't broken. I'm very satisfied with Zenni.

I have been buying glasses from Zennioptical.com for over 15 years and I was happy for its services. I also recommended Zennioptical.com to several friends of mine. However, what recently happened to me made me very unhappy. I ordered a pair of glasses for my wife in the end of last September. In October we received the glasses, and my wife found they were not clear. They seemed off prescription. I thought it could be caused by manufacturer’s mistake, or the prescription that the eye doctor gave to my wife was not correct. So I asked my wife to make an appointment with her eye doctor to check what was wrong. Today we visited the eye doctor, and he told us that my wife’s prescription for the left eye had changed; it should be -3.25 instead of -2.75. After got home I called Zenni Optical (1-800-211-2105), told the agent that the prescription of the left side of the glasses we received was wrong.
I asked the agent if they could help us to remake the left glass with corrected prescription. I said to the agent that it was not manufacturer’s mistake, so we would like to pay for it. However, the agent said to me that since I had received the glasses over two months now they could do nothing for me. They can only help in 30 days after receiving the glasses. The agent also told me that they could not make only glasses; I must reorder a new pair of glasses. The frame and the right side glass of my wife’s glasses are useless, even they are brand new and nothing wrong with them. We do not ask more, only want to replace the left side glass, and we would pay for this service. To make one glass should be easy, why Zenni Optical does not want to help its customers, and ask us to throw away the new frame and the new glass?
The agent said if we could have called within 30 days, they could do something to help. However, in order to figure out what caused the glasses unwearable we must make an appointment to see the eye doctor. During the holiday season 30 days was not possible for us to achieve. I don’t know what does “do something” mean. If you can do something within 30 days, consider we have to make an appointment to see the eye doctor, I think we deserve Zenni Optical’s help even after 30 days. Especially we are 75+ years seniors.

It is true that we do not replace individual lenses, nor do we provide lenses without an eyeglasses frame. Therefore, we are going to issue a 100 percent refund of the price of the glasses from this order in the form of store credit to your Zenni Optical account, even though most of this order was paid for with store credit. This also is an exception we are making on your behalf, since Zenni policy states that an order placed with store credit can only receive a 50 percent refund to the original source of payment, in this case a credit card. In addition, we are not going to require you to return the glasses before we issue the store credit, which is another exception to Zenni policy, so that you will have the store credit available tonight to use to reorder the glasses with the correct prescription. If you get the same frame, you will be able to keep the frame with the incorrect prescription in the left lens to use as a backup frame, in case something happens to the frame you order with the updated prescription. This is my third pair from Zenni. I've had glasses from them for three years now and I like the pricing. I've been recommending Zenni as well to everybody. I did get a pair that the actual lens size was much smaller than what was actually anticipated and what I thought was advertised. And they did offer to take those back and give me a store credit. Their customer service has been excellent so far. But due to the hurricane and some personal medical issues, I haven't even had the opportunity to send those back.
When ordering, I punch in the prescription order that I got from my optometrist after I find a frame that I like. And then they recommend a lens strength for me and a lens type. And I make my decision from there much like I will at a standard optometrist office. Then I submit my order, and then they mail it out to me. I find it very similar to if I was at an optometrist office and eyeglass shop. The biggest thing is that Zenni is missing the high-pressure sales from the optometrist shop. The shipping method is pretty good. Unless you pay for the upgraded shipping, the speed is a bit slow. Most of the time, if you order glasses in person off a lens shop, you can get those within about two weeks anyways. So it can be a little slow, but for the pricing, it can hardly be beaten.

I had a friend refer Zenni Optical to me through email. I was looking for glasses, Zenni sent me this link and I followed everything it said. The first time I ordered was in November and their price was more affordable than other companies. I got one pair of plastic glasses from them and ordering from them was straightforward. I had no problems and it was a good service.

My 9 year old daughter broke her glasses so I turned to Zenni to order her two new pairs. I have orders glasses for myself many times and, other than being delayed a day or two here and there, I have never had a problem... UNTIL NOW! My daughter's glasses were lost by the USPS. The tracking information states they left a facility in CA but they never arrived anywhere else. I spoke with USPS and they agreed there is no record of where the glasses went or where they current are.
I have contacted Zenni over and over again, explaining the situation and asking them to make the exact same glasses and send them priority to me. The first time I spoke with someone I was told I would have an answer in 24 hours. After 24 hours, a second person tells me it will 72 hours. Now, a third person is telling me it will be 5 more days before they will even agree to remake the glasses. Then we have to wait for the glasses to be made, if they even agree to do so, and be sent here. This is horrible customer service!

I always knew that I was blind. I have astigmatism, but I had the outlook that glasses were crazy, crazy unaffordable unfairly. When my classmate told me about them in 2016, I was like, "Wow." Plus it was a moment for me because I had these raggedy glasses that I used to wear, that I found at a party in college. It was time for me to become an adult. She said that they are stylish, and I like to consider myself as a stylish person. I then logged into the website, and it was amazing. I'm like, "Wow, these frames at this price? Beautiful." It was right up my alley. I have ordered from Zenni Optical for at least 10 already. In December 21st, I got three new pairs. The quality is outstanding. They are beautiful and I enjoy them. There are few frames that are loose, but I got like a wide face.
Their customer service reached out via email around one of the first times I ordered. They said like it was something about the balance of my eye. They said, "We feel like there may have been a mistake." And I'm like, "Shoot, if y'all think of it, y'all professionals. Make those adjustments and just send me some new glasses." They are affordable, and I like the fact that you can put personalized messages on the frames. The only thing I like for them is to add a few more letters or the allotted amount you can customize on the side. I'd tell my friends, "You see how good I look? You can look that good, too."

I’ve contacted customer service with no resolution re: Poorly manufactured lenses that hang over the frame, have a purple tint, appear to have a bubble shape and the bifocal line is visible even though I ordered progressive lenses. My prescription is a +2 which has not been a problem to order lenses from other companies. Zenni continues to make excuses for their low quality lens manufacturing. Hence, I am stuck with glasses that I will never wear. Buyer beware!

In the few months we've been with Zenni, we have made three orders from them already. We received them within a week and a half which is appropriate. We’ve been pleased with the adult selection. But for the girls, we were not as pleased. We wished there was more for younger kids. Nevertheless, they've done well. It's been a positive experience and we’ve told quite a few people about Zenni and have encouraged them to purchase from Zenni.

I have purchased several pairs of Zenni glasses over the last 2 years. Of the 5 pairs, 2 have broken and in both cases the warranty was no good as it is only 30 days. That's it. No more. Cheap is cheap. You're not saving money when you have to buy 3 pairs to have a working one because you're always waiting for a replacement. I had a very difficult time swapping the lenses in the first pair that broke. I won't go through it on the second pair that broke, just calling it a loss. Canceling my account, Last order.

Received my 2nd set of regular glasses (4 pairs) from Zenni just now. I actually got the exact same low-cost style that I got 7 years ago. Not fashion-conscious, not me! And the price was unbeatable. But the glasses work great! I got a couple of metal pairs for more formal times and a couple of plastic for bumming around or doing work at home. I ordered with regular shipping, which took a while to get here being the Christmas shipping season, but the order finally arrived, very securely packaged. I am giving 2 thumbs-up, 5 stars, etc, for a great service at a very affordable price. I won't say "cheap," because that gives the wrong connotation in this case. They're very low-cost but NOT "cheap." My thanks to Zenni!

Zenni finally realized that continuing to ask me to wait for glasses the USPS had clearly lost was a bad idea and agreed to make me a new pair. These arrived promptly and I have to say I really like them. As a post script, about 6 weeks later, the missing glasses just showed up in my mailbox. I called Zenni to see where to ship them back and they generously told me just to keep them. I’m really happy they seemed to finally figure out what “customer service” means.

As others have noted, the time between ordering your glasses and when you receive them varies greatly. Mine were shipped over a week ago and the USPS tracking information told me they were out for delivery on the 31st. Then the status changed to they’re on their way. Four days later, they’re still not here and I’m betting the package has been lost. Zenni won’t do anything until the shipping status is unchanged for 10 days. So, a week from now, if they’re still not here, I can start all over. I’ve bought before and had varying success with lenses and frames. This is the last time.

I've ordered four pair of glasses from Zenni. Three of the glasses I bought were good and one of them was worthless. They didn’t get the prescription right. I called and didn’t get anywhere with them. It was 50 bucks, and I ended up just chucking them. It was August of 2017 when I reached out to them. Then in September, we got hit by a hurricane so following up on getting glasses replaced was no big deal when I was trying to rebuild the house. I let go of it. I just made one call and they said okay. It would be nice if they offered some wrap style glasses and if they have better categorization of the different styles of frames. It's a little bit difficult to weed through all of them.

I bought my first pair from Zenni about four years ago and they've been good for the most part. It was quick and easy ordering from them online since they have my prescription which hasn’t changed in almost 20 years. They shipped it in a fair amount of time. And if things didn’t work out, at least they weren’t priced $600.

I looked at a couple of eyewear companies, and Zenni's pricing overall, after shipping, was better. A lot of the companies advertise cheap pricing, and then once you put in the prescription and choose your stuff, the price goes up. Ordering from Zenni was super easy. I ordered a full-rim, single-vision children’s glasses. Their customer service rep was quick to answer, and she offered the best and easiest solution and what would be the quickest for us to get them. I had put in the wrong Pupillary Distance, then I called them and they were really helpful. They had me cancel the order and reorder brand new ones. They had credited $2 extra to my account.

I paid for priority shipping on December 14th and was expecting the glasses to arrive 10 to 14 days from then so December 28th at the latest but they didn't arrive until December 31, although I was very satisfied with the quality of the glasses. Will most likely buy from here soon.

When I heard that using Zenni was a little cheaper than going through the eye doctor, I got my prescription from them and gave it a shot. It was a very good experience navigating their website and they did a good job of illustrating the differences between the type of the lenses to where the buyers knows what they're buying and how that is gonna affect their view. I just wish they continue to have more frame style offerings. Apart from that, the product arrived on time and the packaging was very good. I liked that they have the little eye glass cleaner and the hard case with it .
I tried a progressive lens first, which was good, then I tried a bifocal. I like them both but they each have their pluses and minuses. I bought them instead of having readers. When you have readers, when somebody comes in, you have to take the glasses off. That was the whole point of me trying the progressive lens - that I can look out the top and not be able to have distortion and then be able to read up close. The progressive was a little higher in my pupil than what I would have liked for it to have been, but that's okay. It's a learning event trying to get used to it.

Received two pair of glasses that were ok if you looked straight ahead. Move your head down and you see double. The only resolution is to return the glasses for “inspection”. At their sole discretion they determine if they made an error leaving me with no glasses for 4 to 6 weeks. Buy your glasses at a reputable local store.

I ordered some glasses from Zenni and received them today. The chromatic aberration was terrible, so I am seeing rainbows around objects. I contacted the company and was told all the things I needed to do to help them with their problem. That is terrible service! Good companies today take full responsibility for their mistakes. Be careful when ordering glasses from Zenni. I am throwing them in the garbage.

I've gotten four pairs of glasses from Zenni Optical, and they've all been excellent. I loved having the opportunity to try them online, and the customer service has been fantastic. There was a problem with my first pair, and it turned out the lens had not been made correctly, and they took care of it very fast. The reps were courteous and professional. The quality of the glasses is perfect. I refer Zenni all the time, but they don't advertise enough. I've told people about Zenni and they've never heard of them. Also, I'd like the shipping to be faster.

Hello! I ordered glasses online at Zennioptical.com on November 20th and it has been over a month and I haven't received anything! When it comes to health issues like my vision is something that I was hoping Zenni Optical take responsibility on this. So, basically my order was shipped on time, I received a tracking number from Hong Kong Post since this is a Chinese company. Then it has taken me more than 21-28 days according to the standard shipping time frame that I paid. Today is December 29th and I still not receiving my glasses.
Second thing, the postal service last update was on December 19th, what I know is that after certain period of time if I dont receive any update from the postal service I could request a remake of my order. So I requested that with all the proof of my tracking number and now Zenni Optical is denying me that which is my right since I have waited for more than a month. The only answer that I received from Zenni is that they emailed me the tracking updates on Dec 19th so they won't remake my glasses and they are asking me to wait for another few days.
So my point here is, why should I expect more time for a remake since this has taken more time than I expected. This has been the most dreadful experience that I have had buying online and I can tell that this is my first experience with Zenni that will be probably the last since I have felt disappointed because another customers have had the same issues and they have received the remake within a couple of days. They dont stand up for their product!

The quality of the product is good for the price we pay. The glasses from Zenni are no different than the kind of glasses I would buy at my eye doctor, but they cost a lot less which makes them much more affordable. I was concerned about how I would put in my prescription information, but it was pretty easy to enter all the information online. Everything was packaged right there for me, and they always come to me just as it said it would. But the shipping takes a long time, even if you do the express option. Last time, I paid $8 to have the glasses shipped and it was still about 10 days. It takes a long time to get the glasses, but that's worth to me paying a little bit less for them.

I usually use contacts but I use glasses at night. I had my contacts off one night and I misplaced my glasses. Then, an ad popped up and I ended up ordering two pairs of glasses from Zenni Optical. I tend to choose the ones that don’t have the little brackets on the inside. I also try to get a frame that has more of the plastic where it won't leave a mark as much. The two glasses I bought are not the same style but they are the same shape of frame and their lenses are fine. Everything worked out perfectly. I only use the glasses at night and it's within the hour between taking my contacts off, washing my face and going to bed. But regardless, they're perfect. They're similar to the ones that I get from the actual doctors. So now, I'm gonna stop doing the doctor one that the insurance pays for because Zenni's glasses are a lot cheaper and the same quality. I'm just gonna order from Zenni. I referred three other people to them.

I've ordered from Zenni twice now and finding the item I was looking for was really easy. I like the eyewear. Its quality is really good. And the glasses always arrived faster than I intended. I’ve recommended Zenni Optical several times. Everything is like a really good deal. I'm getting a lot for my money.

I have ordered several pair of glasses from Zenni Optical and have been very pleased. Every pair has fit perfectly without adjustment except the last pair. I ordered "Rectangle Glasses 4424124 Malachite" and when I received them, they were too small for my face. I looked up the return policy which is very generous considering they are prescription glasses specifically for me. I called the company and after a 5 minute phone conversation, was sent two emails with prepaid shipping label and all of the information I needed to return my glasses.
The options are either 50% of your money back or a 100% store credit. I chose the credit because I still wanted to buy glasses. They actually had "Rectangle Glasses 4417324 Green" which is a bigger version of the first pair of glasses that I purchased. So I was able to return my glasses and order a new pair and didn't even have to pay shipping. It took about a week and a half to get my new glasses in and they fit perfectly. It only took 4 weeks total, from the time I ordered the first pair until I received my new pair in the mail and that was during the holiday season. I was so pleased with how seamless and extremely generous the return policy was. I would have never been able to do that locally. I would highly recommend Zenni Optical!!

I ordered my glasses December 7th and still have not gotten them. I have called twice and was told they are out of country or on the dock from China and wont be in the system anywhere, but I will receive them (at that time) within a week. I still don't have either pair. I called yesterday and asked to speak with a manager, Lori, who would not call the shipping department but would email them and they would get back to her in a few days then she would update the status. She told me the glasses were somewhere in a box in the warehouse and I would just have to wait until they got to them. I asked to speak to her manager Joe and was told he wouldn't talk to me.
I don't know what happened to this company because last few years they had always been kind and I never had to wait more than 8 days. We are on day 21 and I have no tracking number and no idea if or when they will get around to shipping them. I have ordered nine pairs since 2015 and I think this is the LAST pair I will order from them. I am very disappointed.

I have been wearing glasses for over 50 years. I had extreme nearsightedness and astigmatism. Since my forties, needed reading glasses at +2.50. I've been wearing Progressive glasses since they first came out. I've always ordered from chain stores. I've been going to the same optometrist for about 15 years. I recently had two cataract surgeries in November. I went from -7.50 in both eyes, -1.50 cylinder in both to extremely little correction, no nearsightedness, .25 farsighted right eye, -.25 cylinder both eyes. I had aspheric toric implants done.
However, I still need progressive lenses for my intermediate and reading. I was always afraid to try online glasses with my old prescription in the past. I ordered my glasses on December 15th, priority shipping. They came on time Christmas Eve exactly 10 days from ordering. I made one phone call to CS to ask a couple of questions while I was waiting and they were very helpful. The frames are exactly as expected, even cuter than the picture online. I ordered the recommended progressive lens, 1.67 and paid extra for upgraded anti glare. I also had my other high index freeform lenses remade from my Eyemart glasses since they were still under warranty. So I have these to compare. Very close in quality, although my Eyemart lenses are probably a little bit less wavy. I have to totally readjust to progressive because of the drastic change in my prescription.
So far, I am happy with my Zenni glasses. I paid $89 out the door. In the past I paid around $450 at least once a year. I will order again maybe even upgrade the lens for comparison. My tips for the most successful outcome would be know that your PD is accurate. Carefully read all of the measurements for the frames. Just because a frame looks really cute doesn't mean it will fit you. I don't know how well they would have done with a much stronger prescription. At least for my rather simple one, they did a great job. The frame I got from Eyemart in my Zenni frames are very comparable in quality. My Zenni frame was very easy to adjust myself. They needed very little because they fit so well. I would like to order another pair to see if I have a similar experience. I think that's the true test of any company is how they perform over time.

I've been ordering from Zenni Optical for the past two years. Thus far, I've ordered glasses for my brother, mother and myself. I started off with plastic, rectangular glasses but now, I'm back to metal frames. The glasses from Zenni last me a while until I have to renew the prescription. Before, I've had to call when I put the prescription on and if I didn’t like the frames themselves. Those times, Zenni would refund me when they get the glasses back.

I've ordered from Zenni several times and couldn't be happier. The price beats what I used to pay at the traditional store front places by at least two hold. So impressed, I started advocate for Zenni and recommended my friends to buy their prescription glasses from them. Unfortunately, the good work stops when things turned out just right.
One of my friend's glasses didn't sit on his face properly. After contacting CS many many times, they kept asking for prescriptions and photos again and again. One thing they refuse to do is to issue a refund. At the end, he was so frustrated he didn't care about 100% refund and asked for the promised 50% back. Yet they kept offering him 100% store credit or sending his unusable glasses back. He ended up ordering his glasses (with the same prescription) from other providers and they were perfect. I guess I won't be recommending Zenni to others again so I don't spoil my friendship. I've also learned that Zenni only cares about 50% of its customers. If you want 100% satisfaction, look somewhere else.

With strong astigmatism, I've been dependent on glasses all 67 years of my life. Having paid $300-$400 for every pair of glasses I've owned, I decided I'd try to save 80% to 90% on my next pair of glasses by giving Zenni a try. I am 100% pleased with both pairs of glasses I've purchased over the past year. Although my prescription is difficult due to the need for exact axis and cylinder, both my orders were perfect. My eye doctor tested the glasses and confirms that they exactly match his prescription. I've never had better visual acuity as with these glasses. The frames are also top quality. Zenni is well positioned to put traditional US glasses suppliers out of business due to their outstanding combination of top quality and rock bottom price.

Purchased glasses for my 10 yo daughter from a recommendation. She has had cataracts and multiple surgeries in only one eye. They placed the prescription in both eyes. I called and they said they can’t do a prescription in only one eye but to email service@zenni. It’s been over a week with no response. Her old glasses broke so she has been without glasses for two weeks. Not a good first impression or good business.
Hi, thank you for posting your review, which gives us an opportunity to address the issue of the prescription in your daughter’s glasses. It is true that with progressive glasses, which is what you ordered for your daughter, even if no correction is entered in the Sphere, Cylinder, and Axis sections of a prescription, the reading addition correction will be in both lenses. The only way around this, and we are sorry if no one suggested this option, would be to order another pair of glasses for your daughter in the same frame as the non-prescription glasses. Then when they arrive, you could remove the right lens from the progressive glasses, which will have the reading addition correction, and replace it with the non-prescription right lens. Since it will be in the same frame as the progressives, the lens should fit in the right front rim. We hope that this information is helpful. Moreover, since we are recommending that you place another order, as a customer service gesture, we are emailing you an item that we hope you will use on this subsequent order.

I purchased glasses with progressive lenses. Thought I would give it a try at a fraction of the price of the optical store. After 4 1/2 months the welding on the frames just popped. When I contacted Zenni I was informed the warranty is 30 days so I'm SOL. Lesson learned... You get what you pay for.

I’m mostly a contact lens wearer. I don’t wear glasses very often because I don’t like them. But I figured if I was gonna try some and Zenni's prices were very reasonable. Ordering online was fairly easy and I went with full rim glasses. In the past four years, I’ve had several pairs and I've had my current pair for about six months. The quality is great and I would recommend Zenni.

I've ordered three times from Zenni. The first two times everything went perfectly. I ordered a pair of glasses on November 28th to replace a pair that lost a lens. I'm without distance glasses now for three weeks. As of today, 12/18, they still haven't shipped. I contacted CS via chat, and they did answer, but could only say that the glasses were shipped from the lab on 12/11, and when they arrived would be shipped via USPS. What happened to the 14-21 day delivery time? Since they've failed on their delivery promise why don't they upgrade shipping when the glasses do arrive? I doubt I'll buy from Zenni again.

Zenni is a good cheap option and most recently, I got a pair of full rim glasses. Aside from that, I've ordered from them multiple times and the online ordering process was not difficult at all. I had a bit of a problem with the shipping once but they fixed it.

Ordered glasses Nov. 29th, order remained in “processing status” till yesterday 12/13. I called customer service and was told that my order was “missed” somehow and that the glasses were done and would have an “expedited” shipping out to me for the inconvenience. Last update today, they are waiting to be shipped from ALASKA??? I thought the company is in San Francisco? But the worst thing about this first experience with Zenni... I was emailed an “update” and tracking number that included my address and 78 other people’s names and addresses with the same scripted message! I am appalled at the situation that my address and close to 80 other people’s addresses were distributed to each other! This cannot be legally right!!! What is going on with this company right now??? Outsourced manufacturing? Delayed orders? Data breach?

I’ve been ordering from Zenni Optical for over a decade. Their website is easy to use and their online ordering process is good. Finding the items I'm looking for is easy and they’ve got a good search tool on there. The quality of the glasses is also good. When I order online, they’re not always exactly what they’re gonna be but for the most part, Zenni is good. They just have to have more frames on there for more selection for customers. Other than that, I recommend Zenni all the time and I’ve told a lot of people about how much cheaper their items are and how quick and easy their process is over the years.

I called Zenni to find out how to order glasses online with my prescription information and how to input that to their site. The guy at customer service (Mexico City) said he didn't know and no one was there to help. I could buy someplace else! Wow, way to get new business!

I ordered new Rx glasses for my son which were slightly small for his head. Upon contacting CS, she said I would need to return the glasses and I would get a store credit. She was to send a return label via email, which I never received. I called CS again when I was informed that I qualified for a one time 100% store credit and no need to return the glasses. I was so impressed that they would offer such great service. BUT as I went to check out for a larger pair of glasses, I could not locate a store credit in my account.
I waited a few days thinking it may be a processing issue. When I checked again, still no credit. I emailed CS and they responded that there is a credit to my account. I checked again but it turns out that the credit was issued to someone else’s account. I called Zenni again to inform them of the mishap and was told now almost 1 month later that I need to ship the glasses back prior to receiving a credit that was already issued to someone else. I cannot make my son go backward on his Rx while I wait a month or more for processing. So frustrated going in circles with customer service.

We are sorry for the conflicting information you received regarding the store credit to be issued for the glasses in this order, and we apologize for any dismay you experienced as a result. In addition, we would like to provide some information we hope will be helpful. We see that you placed three orders prior to this one, and they all have approximately the same prescription, so we are assuming they were also for your son. The first one, placed Dec. 30, 2017, has frame 304316, with a 125 mm frame width. The next order, placed Feb. 24, 2018, has frame 2010116, the width of which is also 125 mm. The next order was placed on Sept. 18, 2018, and again you chose frame 304316. Since these frames were 125 mm wide, and the frame that was too small for him was 117 mm wide, we recommend ordering frames close to 125 mm wide for your son. There’s a two mm leeway, so you could order frames for your son with frame width between 123-127 mm, and they should fit him well. For more specific instructions regarding frame measurements, please see this infographic, found toward the middle of the bottom of every Zenni Optical webpage: https://www.zennioptical.com/measure-eyeglass-frame-size-how-to. Another aspect of this order to which we would like to call your attention is the pupillary distance (PD) you entered for this order: 58 mm. The previous orders have a PD of 52 mm. However, we understand that PDs can change for growing children, particularly if the child has a growth spurt. Therefore, we want to recommend that you confirm that your son’s PD now is 58 mm. Regarding the store credit, we are sorry if our representative advised that we would issue the store credit before the glasses are returned, which is not our policy. The store credit is issued upon the return of the glasses. However, because you never received the emailed prepaid shipping label, and you were under the impression that the store credit would be issued even though the glasses were not returned, we are going to make a customer service exception to ask our lab to issue the store credit tonight, and you will not have to return the glasses. Ordered and received another pair of glasses from Zenni. Third glasses order of which two were not even close to being correct. The first pair they took back but would not replace them but only refunded what I paid for them. They were purchased on one of their sales but that didn't matter to them. Second pair was fine. Third pair, again, not even close to being right. This time they want me to pay for return shipping and will only credit me 50% of what I paid for the glasses. This was resultant from their error.
I guess the 100% refund policy is a one time item. In addition, they claimed I sent the prescription wrong. I copied the prescription from the first pair, which they managed to get wrong, second pair which was correct and sent it with the third order. After speaking with customer service I copied the correct prescription again and sent it to them again. They are claiming I made an error in the third order. The prescription has been the same for all three orders. Two orders that were grossly in error. Let the buyer beware with Zenni!

Your second order, placed May 27, 2018, was for two pairs of single-vision reading glasses, which, according to the notes in the order, was not what you intended to order. So you contacted us about this, and we invited you to send those two pairs of glasses back for a 100 percent refund of the price of the glasses in the form of store credit to your Zenni Optical account. Your third order, placed Aug. 13, 2018, was for progressives with blue-blocker lenses, and you used the store credit that had been issued when you returned the second order to pay for these glasses. There are no notes in the database record of this order, so, just as we did for the first order, we are assuming that you had no issue with these glasses. However, we were sorry to see that your fourth order, placed Nov. 22, 2018, was entered with minus numbers for the Cylinders, unlike the previous orders, which were ordered with plus Cylinders. But because this order was paid for partially with store credit, and partially from your PayPal account, Zenni Optical policy states that the store credit is available for the portion of the order paid for with the PayPal account, and for the portion of the order paid for with store credit, the only refund option is a 50 percent refund that goes back to the PayPal account originally used to pay for the order for which the store credit had been issued. We hope this information clarifies any confusion or misunderstanding you experienced regarding these orders.

I ordered from this vendor three times in total. The first time was fine. I was not pleased with my second order, but I'll let it slide. I then placed another order on Dec 3rd. To date, the order status page still says it's manufactured. I called their customer service on Dec 10th to see if the order will be shipped soon. A male rep told me bluntly he doesn't know. He even asked me to check again next week, and said maybe it will be shipped then. I emailed them on Dec 10th. Got no reply. It's been more than a week. I did not order glasses with prescription. I only ordered a pair of glasses with a select lens shape.
If they expect delays even for glasses without prescription, they should have told their customers either in advance, or as soon as they can. Not an "I don't know" or "Check again next week". And not even a courtesy email reply. I have dealt with vendors that are smaller than Zenni, and they are much more friendly and courteous than Zenni Optical. I'll say their service quality is inconsistent. Their services are not all bad, but you take your chance. Given the recent experience, I don't think I will want to order from them in the future.

It was delivered to you on Dec. 1, 2018, 10 days after you placed the order. We were sorry to read that you believed that we did not include the lens shape you ordered, although our lab confirmed that the lens shape in the frame was correct. Your Dec. 3, 2018, order, also for a rimless frame and non-prescription lenses, was mailed to you on Dec. 14, 2018, 11 days after you placed the order, and delivered to you on Dec. 17, 2018, 14 days after you placed the order. Of course, we are sorry for any annoyance you experienced as a result of the manner of our customer service representative, and for the different speeds of delivery on these orders. However, each of these orders was placed with Standard shipping, for $4.95, which comes with a delivery promise of 14-21 days from the day the order was placed. Each of these orders was delivered within the promised delivery time. We would like to mention that we have two faster delivery options: Priority shipping, delivered by the U.S. Postal Service, just like Standard shipping, but the delivery time promise is 10-14 days from the date of the order. This option is $8.45. Our fastest method is Express shipping, for $18.95, and the glasses are delivered by UPS to a physical location. We hope this information is helpful.

I received a pair of glasses that caused discomfort while wearing them. I reached out to customer service to let them know the prescription didn't seem right. I was told they could not offer me a refund, but that they could send me another pair, assuming they made a mistake on their end. I don't have the time it would take to mail the glasses back, wait for you to do an inspection on the first pair, make a second pair, and mail those to me...and that shouldn't be my only option. I just want my money back.

We were disappointed to read that when you contacted Zenni Optical about this issue, you declined to provide the polarities and values from the prescription you received from your eye doctor, which is a necessary prelude to an inspection. If the customer confirms that they entered the prescription and pupillary distance (PD) correctly, we will email the customer instructions to return the glasses for an inspection. We see that we emailed you instructions to return the glasses for an inspection even though you did not confirm the prescription and PD were entered correctly. Therefore, we hope that you will enclose with the returned glasses a copy of the prescription you got from your eye doctor, as well as confirmation how the PD was obtained (self-measurement, friend or family member measurement, or eye doctor measurement). If it turns out that the prescription or PD was entered incorrectly, we can offer you a 100 percent refund of the price of the glasses, minus the shipping fee, in the form of store credit to your Zenni Optical account. Alternatively, we could offer a 50 percent refund of the price of the glasses to the credit card you used to pay for them. I had the worst experience! I ordered glasses and when I received them, they were the wrong prescription. I took the glasses to my eye doctor to make sure that my eyes just needed to properly adjust and I was right! It wasn’t me. It was the glasses. When I called to speak to a representative (4 times) each time someone gave me different information than the next. They wanted me to pay for glasses again! I spoke with a “manager” but he was just as clueless and really was no help at all.
Finally I said I’d just send them back but I want my money back NOT a store credit and he responded by saying I’d only get money back after they did an inspection. I gave up and told him I’d buy my glasses elsewhere but that I demanded my money back as soon as my glasses were returned. I’m drained and overwhelmed. I’m letting everyone know not to shop there. Better off sticking to Warby Parker. At least they know what they’re talking about and put the customer first.

I kept losing $400 glasses. I went with Zenni and we've had their eyewear in our home for eight years now. I have bought around eight pairs while my wife had three pairs from them and she's getting ready to get another pair. I have bifocals, single lenses, bifocal sunglasses, reading glasses, and computer glasses. It's been very easy to order from them and their customer service reps have been excellent. I've recommended Zenni to many people and told them to stop spending $400.

It was easy to order online from Zenni and for the price, they’re great. I liked the pair of full rim glasses and that was what I got. I was thinking I was gonna pay $300 for a pair of glasses. Maybe they’re a little bit better quality. But for $30 or $40, I don’t think you can beat Zenni.

I've ordered from Zenni four times now and have always been pleased with the product. My prescription readers (+1.50/+1.75) are about the same price as buying a generic pair off the shelf, and my husband's more complicated prescription ends up being a fraction of the price quoted to us at our optometrist's and at Target Optical.

I used to be a devout Warby Parker consumer until I met a professor at Villanova on a college tour. Her glasses were super cute, big frames, animal print. She told me she got them from Zenni, so I checked out the website. Two pairs of glasses later I’m hooked! I talk about my glasses with strangers, family members, and coworkers. Zenni is the best deal for glasses out there. The cutest, most unique frames for less than half the cost of glasses you would buy at your optometrist. I got a pair of glasses for $37! I have used Zenni twice. The first time everything was good. The second time not so good. I ordered glasses for myself and my daughter. I have been tracking the progress online. This past Monday it said "manufactured" on the website and I got on the chat to ask what that meant. I was told my order would ship in 24-48 hours. I looked back in Wednesday still said "manufactured" so I got on the chat again.
This time I was told my order will ship in 1-3 business days. It is now Saturday my order still says "manufactured". I just called customer service and they now say it can take 5-6 days to ship. The agent even made thing worse by trying to put the blame on me by saying, "You choose standard shipping." I was just looking for a straight answer. I asked to speak to a manager and was denied. I have also emailed customer service on two separate occasion and I have received no response. My bet is they will see this online and attempt some feeble excuse when all they had to do was be honest in the first place.

As of today, we are sorry to confirm that the U.S. Postal Service has not yet assigned a tracking number to the shipment. However, we do expect that this tracking number will be assigned later today. When this tracking number has been assigned, you should get an email with this tracking number to use to track the order at the postal service website. Once again, we apologize for the conflicting information you received, and we hope that you and your daughter will be happy with the glasses when you receive them.

I love Zenni, I feel much more confident and more like myself since I've been using Zenni (more than 7 years now). I'm always exited for a new pair of glasses. I recommend Zenni a 100% to all people and I always receive compliments of my eyeglasses, that's a plus.

Spent a lot of money with Zenni over the years- now I won't go NEAR them. Try EyeBuyDirect, people. Why? Zenni has roughly two million frames and 85% of them seem to suck. Just look at them. Also- try to return anything for any reason and watch your money never get back to you. They KEEP most of your money- returns is a nightmare. Last- their website sucks- bad. Enough said. Go to EyeBuyDirect- I did recently. WONDERFUL company with cool frames, much better, clearer glass, and fantastic customer service!

I got two pairs of glasses from Zenni - a metal frame and a plastic frame prescription glasses. I've had these glasses for five months now and I'm completely satisfied with everything. It was very easy to order at Zenni and everything was smooth on their website. I had to return one of the pairs of the original ‘cause they were kids' glasses and I didn’t realize until I got them, but that went smoothly as well. The staff was very easy to work with. I already recommended Zenni to a couple of people and my sister purchased glasses from them because of the recommendation.

I have been buying from Zenni for over 8 years and I have always been amazed by the quality and the value. That said I just ordered 2 pairs and I really like the frames but somehow there was a mistake made in the RX. I didn't freak out. I just called the 800 number and the rep. was very helpful in arranging a return. A pair of Glasses at Costco would have cost at least $140. The Zenni price $36. That said as a senior citizen on a tight budget I am grateful for Zenni making it possible for me to have more than one pair of glasses. This is a very good company to do business with. Yes they made a mistake but they went the extra mile to make it right. I tell all of my neighbors in the Senior complex where I live about Zenni. This company stands out in customer service and honesty in dealing with their buyers, I wish them continuing success and good fortune.

Purchased a pair of glasses recently which had to be returned because the prescription I entered was incorrect. The drop down when entering the prescription started off with values that had a dash front of them. Turned out it was a negative number (although the positive values did not have a plus sign). Sent the glasses back and received 100% store credit to purchase a new pair which I did immediately after receiving the credit. The new glasses cost an additional $48 because I had to purchase the more expensive higher index lenses. Total cost for the replacement glasses was $122.
After receiving the new glasses and wearing them a little while they were much heavier than my existing glasses and were uncomfortable to wear. Additionally the right lenses was a little blurry. I tried to see about returning the glasses to get a different style but was told I could only get a 50% store credit. I wrote back and forth several times but always got the same scripted answer. I explained that there was nothing on the website that said anything about only receiving a 50% store credit when you used a store credit to purchase glasses. The webpage is clear about refunds but very misleading when it comes to store credit. Very disappointed with their customer service.

I had been a happy loyal customer for many years. However after my most recent purchase not anymore. I purchased sunglasses which arrived with an obvious defect, there is no way the folks at Zenni could have missed. I left messages via their website without a response. I finally emailed the service center which did respond. They suggested a send them a photo so they can assess the problem. Why do I need to send a picture? Zenni's immediate response should be my satisfaction and standing by their products. Zenni did not immediately offer to fix the problem nor would they supply me with an address to return the glasses. Stand by your product!!!

I will not purchase from Zenni Optical again. I purchase 4 pair of glasses and they all were too big but they only want to offer me 1/2 of a refund... HALF after I purchase 4 pair. They are scam artists.

We also want to mention that the dimensions of each frame on our website are listed under the enlarged picture of the frame, so that a customer may peruse these dimensions and determine whether the glasses will fit them well, by comparing the dimensions of the frames on Zenni Optical’s website in which you are interested with the dimensions of glasses you have now that fit you well and look good on your face. The frame width of two of the frames you ordered, 4413825 and 4413831, is 140 millimeters. The frame width of the other two frames you ordered, 125221 and 125214, is 139 mm. Therefore, we can safely assume that frames around 140 mm wide are too big to fit you well. Here is an infographic that can be found toward the middle of the bottom of every Zenni Optical page, which explains how to measure an eyeglasses frame: https://www.zennioptical.com/measure-eyeglass-frame-size-how-to. If you do not have a pair of glasses that fits you well and looks good on your face, we recommend that you visit an optical store, or a drug or dollar store, and try on some of the frames there. I have been ordering from Zenni Optical for a couple of years now. They have good quality glasses and they have good prices. I have four kids and they are really tough on glasses. To be able to purchase another pair of glasses for 20 bucks is a big bonus. Also, the ordering process has always been easy. It's nice to do something like that from your home instead of having to go into the store to do it. I've recommended Zenni Optical to a lot of people and a lot of my friends and two of my sisters are ordering from them now.

Zenni Optical made a mistake on the prescription and it was a little off. I sent the glasses back because I wanted them to fix it. But it was still a little off to me when they sent it back. So right now, I have credit, which I'm not too thrilled with. Since the first order was their fault, they should have offered me a full refund. But you only get half of your money back with the refund. However, I would still shop with them because their prices are good. Also, their reps were very attentive. I'd tell friends that they should try Zenni.

I looked on the internet and I liked the prices at Zenni. It was not hard to order from them online and their site was user-friendly. You got your prescription and you go in. You can download a picture of yourself and look at frames on your face to see if you would like them. The first three times, I kinda screwed up because I didn’t know how big my face really was. I would get frames that were too big and I’ve sent pairs back since I didn’t like the way they looked. However, after I’ve done it a few times, I got better at it. I’ve had eyewear from them for the last four years and they’re good quality. Also, they have a great customer service team and their team is easy to work with.

I have ordered glasses from Zenni in previous years. There has now been a terrible lapse in their quality control. This last time starting 2 months ago with virtually no change in my prescription, my glasses were made with defective lenses. Defective lenses means you know immediately they are wrong. They agreed in writing the first 2 times and I sent back glasses today for a 3rd time. Horrible waste of time. Back and forth with credits or refund. The real news is that medically it is extremely dangerous to wear glasses that are not right and the possibility of an accident occurring if consumers don’t catch the error. I will continue to raise awareness of this matter.

Compared to everybody else out there, Zenni Optical is the best deal for the money. I’ve liked every glasses that I’ve bought there and I even got prescription sunglasses at a decent rate. Their selection has been good and if you have your prescription, it’s pretty easy to order online. I had good luck with Zenni and I would tell my friends to try it.

Was skeptical in buying over internet at first. Friend of my daughter raved about Zenni. My wife had just purchased 2 pair of glasses from famous store, costing over $900. I was needing new glasses so I thought I was not going to pay that price for me. I ordered 2 pair (1 regular every day and 1 pair of sunglasses). They have a lot of frames to choose from (that took the longest). The ones I picked, with progressive lenses, cost less than 1 pair of hers. They arrived, fit great and the prescription is hang on. I will be ordering from them again.

I’ve known about Zenni for a long time. Initially, I liked their price and the reports that I’ve heard about them through internet searches. I’ve used them before and they turned out to be what they said they were. The overall ordering process is very straightforward and simple. The customer service is excellent too. I have had an occasion in placing orders and needed assistance. When I call Zenni, I get a very fast response and a knowledgeable customer service representative. They always have an answer to my problems. My issues were with respect to the actual order and to the prescription for the glasses. And Zenni was just on the money. Their delivery time is also good. I’m very satisfied with the company. I’ve used them several times for more than five years. I have an order in with them now. If that order is consistent with all the other orders, I would use Zenni myself and recommend them highly.

I unfortunately was lured in with the affordable online pricing. I purchased my glasses and entered the prescription. I received the wrong prescription or were made incorrectly, my vision was clearly blurred when I tried them on. Getting a hold of customer service is a long wait. I returned the glasses as requested with a copy of my prescription. Customer service said 10 days processing once they receive return. I confirmed receipt of package with tracking number. No response in a month after confirmed receipt. I normally don't like to call and bother people, so I used their chat option for inquiry on return status. Customer service emailed me 2 days for processing.
10 days later, no response. I called and asked for a status, customer service was again useless and now was giving me option for half a refund or store credit but not until they receive my package and confirm if it was their error or not (they already had my return for a month at this point). It's been 3 months since purchase. I then get an email confirming they lost my return. Now they cannot confirm their error and only option is for store credit or half a refund. Well, lesson definitely learned. This place will take your money, wait an extended period, not get back to you, then screw you.

For years Zenni has been the only place I have ordered my prescription eyeglasses from. On my most recent order their computer changed my order from 80% gray lens tint to no tint after I selected the $17.00 lenses instead of the $47.00 ones. I did not catch it so I was sent regular clear eyeglasses. Last year I had ordered this same tint with the less expensive lenses without any problem. When I asked a customer rep if I could just get those same glasses he said I was not able to.

Insofar as you ordered the $17.00 bifocal lens in April 2015 and May 2017 with the 80 percent gray tint for $4.95, we apologize for your dismay that we no longer offer these bifocal lenses with this tint. Although we are happy that you apparently had no problems with the tinted bifocal lenses from your 2015 and 2017 orders, we want to confirm that customer complaints about the bifocals with the standard tint led us to discontinue this combination. We also apologize that the $57.99 polarized bifocal lenses are more expensive than the previous option of getting $17.00 bifocal lenses with an 80 percent gray tint for $4.95. However, we would like to mention that we offer 80 percent gray polarized clip-on sunshades, for $3.95. We hope that these sunshades, which could be ordered with the $17.00 bifocal lens, might provide a less-expensive, acceptable solution. In addition, we want to confirm that we emailed you the instructions to return these glasses. When we receive them, we will refund to your credit card 100 percent of the cost of the glasses, $28.90, as you requested. Moreover, as an extra measure of apology for this issue, as well as a token of gratitude for your business, we are emailing you an item that we hope you use on your next order with Zenni Optical. The mark of a good company is how they respond when there is a problem with an order. In the case of Zenni they fail miserably! 11/17 I placed my order and paid $18.95 to get them in 7-10 days. On 11/23 I informed Zenni that UPS had lost my order. Zenni's response was they have 10 days from date of order to deliver the glasses, so they will do nothing for me until 11/27.
On 11/28 I called Zenni and requested a refund. Their response was, "We can’t do a refund, but we will submit an inquiry to find out what has happened to the order." Keep in mind I have called Zenni at least 3 times between 11/23 & 11/27 asking them to do that very thing. Each time their response was, "We have 10 days from date of order before we do anything." Realizing the lack of service Zenni offers I went to Costco and ordered a new pair of glasses on 11/25. I paid $25 more at Costco but they called me today, 11/28 and told me my glasses are ready. So, in the end I can thank Zenni's very poor customer service for pointing me in the direction of Costco. Now instead of me, my wife and son continuing to buy glasses from Zenni we will all go to Costco. As far as a refund from Zenni, I have started the dispute process thru my credit card company and will have the money back in my account soon.

Our customer service representative was correct in informing you that, until the 10th day had elapsed, a remake would not be ordered, because you still may receive the order. You telephoned us again, on Nov. 26, 2018, the ninth day after the order was placed, to request a remake again. On Nov. 28, 2018, the 11th day after the order was placed, you telephoned again, and because this was past the seven-10-day delivery time promise, we refunded your shipping fee. The next day, Nov. 29, 2018, UPS delivered the glasses to you. We hope that you are pleased with the glasses, and we trust that this matter is now resolved to your satisfaction.

I’ve had nothing but good experiences with Zenni. I now have 37 pair of glasses in the last six months. I like the bigger ones, and bold, funky patterns. I’ve had a couple of pair come that I didn’t like, but that was my own fault for not realizing they were gonna be so small looking. I get asked daily about my glasses and I’ve been telling many, many people to go to Zenni. It's cheap and very easy to order from them.

The cost of glasses at my eye doctor's was ridiculous, so even though I was skeptical, I signed up with Zenni. I talked to my eye doctor and she said I should bring her the glasses when I get them so she could take a look at them. I was purchasing for my child also. It is one thing for me to get the glasses, have a headache then try and figure out what's wrong, but it is a whole other thing to put glasses on my child that my eye doctor hasn’t seen. So, we ordered a pair for each of us and took them in, and my doctor said that they looked fine. We started wearing them and we've continued.
The entire family wears them now. I always have the glasses checked, just in case there's an issue but there never has been. We usually order about five pairs a time at least once a year. Then if we damage or lose them we wind up ordering more, and Zenni has come through for us. I always keep spares but there was a time when we flipped the canoe and everybody lost their glasses. Zenni went above and beyond, and got the glasses to us right away. They took time but we were out of town and we were getting ready to leave to go out of town and they were able to ship to a different address. They expedited them but didn’t charge us to do that.
We also liked that we can upload our pictures and try the glasses on - that's how we pick our style. There are a few frames that we know are our fail-safe that we always go back to. We've actually run into them discontinuing one, but we got on and looked at similar stuff, and we figured it out. I have ordered one pair that once I got them, I didn’t care for them. They worked fine but they didn’t fit my face as well as I thought they would. I thought if I contacted Zenni, I probably could return them but I decided I'd just stick them in the drawer, then if what I'm wearing breaks, I'll at least have a fallback. Now, I just got a new pair to go with a specific dress that I ordered. I have an upcharge for my actual prescription, but the glasses were still inexpensive enough that I bought a pair to go with a dress that I don’t even have an occasion to wear.
And so, I tell people about Zenni all the time. Our glasses come with lots of different things like a measuring tool to measure one’s pupillary distance as well as a wiping cloth, and when I tell people where we get our glasses, I just give them one of those items because the name's on it. And then, I just realized the other day, I have given away every wiping cloth that I have.

When I heard that you could get eyeglasses online, I googled the different places. I looked at reviews and Zenni had the best ones. I started with Zenni because I frequently lose my glasses. At this point, I've been ordering from them for at least four years and I love the glasses from them. I tried one other eyewear company recently just to see and their glasses weren’t nearly as good. I like to get glasses frequently and for the price, Zenni is really the best value. I usually get the acetate frames although I've gotten metal as well. I also get something with a little vintage design, like a little cat-eye or some rhinestones on it. My favorite pair right now has a 10% pink tint to it because I can use them as sunglasses but also as regular glasses.
I get some for my kids as well. My son is about 10 and some of his will only last three months while some will last a couple of years. So the quality varies a little between them. But they can easily last a couple of years. I personally haven’t had any glasses just break on their own. The customer service representatives at Zenni are also super helpful. Once, I ordered a wrong prescription for my son and I couldn’t understand why he couldn’t see. At first, I thought Zenni got it wrong but I realized that no, I got it wrong. And they gave me a one-time credit to get a new pair of glasses at no cost. So that was great.

I heard about Zenni Optical through my sister and they had the most variety that I found with the most reasonable prices. When I ordered online, it was easy to fill everything out, the delivery was fast and everything looked the way it was supposed to. I was happy with it. The quality has been fantastic and I’ve only ordered twice but my family goes there as well.

Called customer dis-service over an ordering issue with their website and it was clear that the agent who answered my call barely understand a word I said, and also knew pretty much nothing in general that I'd expect a TRAINED agent to know. ALL he could do was read rote answers from a script. I might as well have searched Google rather than call customer service.

A friend told me about Zenni and since I'm somewhat confined in my living, anything that avoids traveling to an eyeglass place and getting fitted is good for me. I got full rim glasses 'cause at that time, I was wearing wire-rimmed glasses and it was pinching my nose. I've had it for a year now and I like it.

I've been purchasing from Zenni Optical for three years now and so far, I've been very satisfied. They have plastic, semi-metal, half rim selections and I've bought all of them. And I also buy for other people. Their glasses are cheap and the delivery is quick. One time, I didn't receive the item and the status of the glasses said “In Process”. It wasn’t processed for a little over more than usual so I called their customer service and the experience was good.

My brother had used Zenni Optical and he told me about it. I usually get contacts from my optometrist and my insurance only buys one or the other, so I went with Zenni to get glasses because it was much cheaper than buying $300 pair of glasses from others. Ordering from Zenni was easy. But the hardest part was getting the prescription from my local doctor. Even so, my order came through fine and the glasses are of good quality. I've recommended a couple of my friends to Zenni Optical because they're a low-cost alternative to people who primarily wear contacts. That's an alternative to get, a pair of glasses for at home if you needed it.

My sister has been buying from Zenni for years and always has such cute glasses on. I got a new prescription this year so instead of letting the doctor fill it at 250 a pair I tried out Zenni. I got two pairs (One was around 75.00 because I added a lot of things on them) and one pair was like 20. I have a pretty heavy prescription in one eye so I'll always have to pay more but 20 dollars for a pair of glasses is totally OK with me. They arrived in about 2 and a half weeks and both pair are perfect. I love one pair so much I turned right around and ordered them again in a different color.
At these prices I can have a pair for every look I want to achieve! I love that I could maybe order a pair of purple plastic glasses that may only go with one look but I can do it because at 20 bucks that doesn't break my bank account. I can also order so many that I can keep some in my car and at work so I'm never without glasses. Like a whole new world has opened up for me with Zenni and I couldn't be happier with them.

I like how you can order frames for a good price with Zenni Optical. I've been with them for a year and I’ve mostly gotten eyewear with plastic frames. And they seem to last a long time. The online ordering facility is also easy to use and my experience with Zenni has been good overall.

The cost for my glasses was much cheaper than if I had bought them from the Doctors office. Selection is real good and I am in need of another pair so I am going to pick some out right now. Gotta say, I would highly recommend Zenni optical to anyone looking for online glasses. I started in July with a new prescription from my doctor. I decided to get the Workstation progressives. Once the glasses arrived, they were unusable. It took a week of emails to get a return authorization. They looked at it about a week and offered to remake. Those glasses came in about two weeks. The replacement glasses were unusable. I got a return authorization in a couple of days. They looked at it and said the glasses were out of tolerance and offered to remake. I told them to make me a single prescription pair of glasses instead. That took a couple of weeks.
I had pretty much decided to also just go to LensCrafters and ordered a single prescription computer glasses (I needed glasses and did not have confidence in Zenni). It took a week to get those glasses and found out that they were also unusable. They told me the get the prescription updated and they will remake the glasses at no additional cost. I decided to go back to my doctor (had to wait three weeks for an appointment), found out that the prescription wasn't even close. I'm thinking they typed in someone else's prescription into my account.
In the meantime Zenni glasses came back and it was again unusable. Zenni did not complain, argue, insinuate anything, they just returned my money and apologized. They did this before I could email them and tell them to keep my money, it was a bad prescription, that I was sorry for wasting their time and money. When I got my corrected prescription, LensCrafters re-made the single prescription computer glasses. They worked. It cost me about $260.
Meanwhile, with the new prescription I went back to Zenni and re-ordered my original workstation progressive. It works as expected (took about two weeks). It cost me about $120. Overall the frame from LensCrafters was a much better quality, but for computer glasses, the Zenni was perfect. I would have to say that aside from the time it took to explain to Zenni that the glasses were unusable, for them to evaluate my prescription, send me a return authorization, working with Zenni was very professional, they bent over backwards to make my (faulty) prescription work for me and at the end of the day, when I kept telling them that the glasses were unusable, they simple returned my money. Absolutely no hassle. I would highly recommend them for online glasses. It was an excellent experience.

After filling the form for my order I got an error box with no explanation of what was wrong that prevented me from continuing. I refilled the form the exact same way and was able to continue. Then my phone ran out of power before I could place the order. I returned and found that my order was gone. I was successful the third time but I won't be buying from Zenni again.

I have ordered from Zenni three times now. The first time I was apprehensive because I have never got a pair of glasses without trying them on first. However I was never disappointed. Zenni keeps in great contact with you about order status and my glasses have actually arrived early 2 put of the 3 times. I will forever be a Zenni girl. :)

I ordered two pairs of glasses, one was supposed to be sunglasses. The glasses were blurry and the expected sunglasses were not tinted. I complained but received basically a brush off from the company rep. We decided to eat the cost, but caution others to be careful when deciding to use Zenni.

Regarding the blurriness, we do not see any previous orders placed by you, so we cannot confirm whether the prescription and pupillary distance (PD) were entered correctly. Therefore, we invite you to telephone Zenni Optical Customer Service, at 1-800-211-2105, and anyone who answers will be eager to assist you. When you call, please have the prescription you got from the eye doctor handy, and please be prepared to confirm how the PD was obtained – self-measurement, friend or family member measurement, or eye doctor measurement. If you confirm that you entered the prescription and PD correctly, we will invite you to return the glasses for an inspection. We will email you the return-for-inspection instructions, as well as a prepaid shipping label you may use for return postage. If our inspection finds that you entered the prescription and PD correctly, but we made the glasses incorrectly, we can remake them for you for free. My husband and I have known about Zenni through a friend and they have cheap and effective glasses that last until I break them. I've been ordering from Zenni for a few years now and their online ordering process is simple enough. I mostly get the cat eye and the eyewear lasts about a year or more until I do something really stupid like step on them. My husband got a pair of rectangular ones that matched his old glasses. All in all, I’m happy with everything.

I bought from Zenni hoping to get cheap glasses like everyone else who’s left positive reviews. I got my first pair, and they were atrocious. I couldn’t really see through them, after 3 minutes of wearing them, I wouldn’t see perfectly, and I’d get headaches. I wore this pair for 3 days to see if I’d get used to it, but no dice. I returned them and got a replacement pair, which was better than the first pair, but still horrible. I can’t wear them for more than 5 minutes at a time. The same prescription in glasses I got from my eye doctor works perfectly, unlike the Zenni. And now I’ll be returning it and getting only a 50% refund. Wish it worked out for me, but it didn’t. I basically wasted $30 (since I’m only getting 50% back) and my time.

You get what you pay for! I paid $45 for two pairs of glasses and the plastic is so cheap it's ridiculous. They're like DVD case plastic. I'm not going through the hassle of returning them just to get more terrible quality glasses. I guess I just have prescription costume glasses now!

Other eyewear companies aren’t cheap and my sister told me to use Zenni Optical. I only purchased one style and the glasses have more of a square shape frames. I had a good ordering experience and I didn’t have to wait too long to get the glasses. However, sometimes the lenses come off.

I’m happy with Zenni Optical and I always get my lenses through them. My daughter has been trying to get me to buy glasses online for the longest time, and she finally convinced her old mom. I don’t have vision insurance, so for me to purchase bifocals, progressive lenses are extremely expensive. I'm very happy with my decision buying from Zenni. Before I ordered my glasses from Zenni, I wanted to make sure that they were returnable if I didn’t like them or they didn’t fit right and the rep said they were. I’m glad that our interaction was on Pacific time ‘cause I’m in the Pacific time zone. My first pair with a discount was about $130. It was the most expensive Zenni has and it's the titanium. Afterward, I got plastic frames and they were only $9.99. But I get so many compliments on that one. The second pair of glasses was in the $80 range.
However, when I got my progressive lenses, I didn’t know which ones to get. I went with the one that says “Recommended.” I have the progressive bifocals, and there were at least between five and seven different choices. Unless I had a doctor by my side, I wouldn’t know which ones to get. I also didn’t know what was better about the ones that were more expensive as compared to the ones that were less expensive. So, I just went with the recommended one. So I was wondering if there is any way Zenni could, in the future, put some sort of a description of what the lenses are. Another thing was that it takes a long time to get my glasses. It was normally three weeks, with both of them. I haven't bought any glasses in a while before I got the Zenni, but I could’ve sworn it was only two weeks at the normal doctor’s office when I got them.
But other than that, I love Zenni Optical. I’m an Aflac rep, and we have vision insurance. And when people see that we only pay $80 to $170, I tell them all about Zenni and tell them how they’re very affordable. But I also tell people not to buy Zenni's products right away. They should sign up, receive an email, and they would get a 10% or 20% discount.

My wife found Zenni online and we've been with them for a couple of years now. So far, I have no complaints about them. I'm wearing the glasses we bought from them as well as two of my children. The glasses are great and cheap. We always order two pairs a piece and my wife is happy with them.

Zenni has a good stock of eyeglasses if you're looking to buy one. After comparing their pricing with other companies and since a friend referred me to them, I bought a pair of glasses from them. Their website was pretty simple to navigate and seemed pretty straightforward. Also, the quality of the product I got was awesome and the glasses themselves are really good quality. Plus, they have the flex feature.

I have bought two pairs of Zenni glasses. The first pair looked great but something was off about the lenses, my vision was still a bit fuzzy. I thought it might be that I needed to adjust to the new prescription. Over time, I just didn't wear them as much. Maybe this was a one-time thing. I get a second pair a year or so later with a slightly different prescription and same thing happens--something doesn't seem quite right. I recently brought all of my glasses to my optometrist and it turns out both Zenni glasses was the right power but there was no axis adjustment for my astigmatism!
I should have sent them back but I just didn't realize it was the glasses and not me. I have checked the order prescription and it's listed but somehow they just didn't do it. I know it's a bit late to expect them to fix this, but I do like the glasses--I just wish I brought this up earlier. Other friends have had good experiences with Zenni but they didn't have astigmatism. If you get glasses from them, be sure they're right--if necessary, take them to your optometrist to get checked.

Although both orders are considerably outside our 30-day warranty period, which starts the day the glasses are delivered, we made a customer service exception on your behalf to allow you to send each pair of glasses back to us for an inspection. We received the glasses and inspected them, but although you enclosed a copy of the prescription and pupillary distance (PD) for the order from November 2016, the prescription and PD for the November 2017 order were not included with the glasses. We need these items to complete the inspection of the glasses from that order, so please email a copy of the prescription and PD for that order to service@zennioptical.com, making the order number the subject line of the email. Then we will be able to complete the inspection and email you the inspection results. It was easy to order glasses from Zenni Optical and I liked their prices. My daughter told me about them. The online ordering process was fine and I chose the glasses I did because they took my insurance for those glasses. I would recommend Zenni. We pass on information about them to other people. If they say that they like the glasses that we’re wearing and ask us where we got them, we let them know that we got these through Zenni.

I placed an order totaling $6.95 and I had to cancel it because we had to verify the prescription. So I finally got my store credit back after 5 days and I went to place my order and I was unable to use my coupon code because it was already used. I contacted customer service who told me they cannot do free shipping and so I asked for a refund and she said they would give me a 50% refund -- THIS IS RIDICULOUS. I just want to place another order or get my money back to go elsewhere. Coastal and other websites are much better, go to them. :)

One of my former co-workers and friends told me that Zenni Optical has amazing glasses at a very reasonable price. My husband and I previously ordered six pairs of glasses from Zenni and this past week, I ordered two more. My husband barely started wearing glasses within the last two years, so Zenni has been the only prescription glasses he wears so far in his life. The original ones that we got him which we called Spongebob glasses because they looked like the glasses Spongebob wears when he’s jellyfish hunting was broken. Originally, we were just gonna try to reorder the frames ‘cause he still had the lenses. But then, they retired that particular frame so we ended up picking out a new pair of glasses for him that were similar to the original one because he really likes those.
Then the second one we had gotten him was a pair of sunglasses that were bluish-framed and another set of regular glasses that were a darker blue. He loves them and the fact that he’s branching out and not just getting black is amazing to me. He’s happy to experiment because it’s not too much money out of pocket to do it. When we got him the Spongebob glasses, we just went bare-bones minimum on the upgrades. The only thing that he didn’t like was that he was getting a glare from car headlights when he was driving at night. So, the next pair that we bought him, we did the upgrade to block out the blue light, which also helps with glare reduction. He said those were great and worked perfectly. But he ended up losing those, so we ordered him a new pair that has those same lens options and he’s super excited for them to come.
When it comes to shipping, Zenni's a little slower than I would like. They usually ship within about a week and a half so, we usually get them around the two and a half week mark. But they make the glasses from scratch. I've recommended Zenni to a ton of people and told them, depending on the lens upgrades they would get, they could get frames starting at 7$. They could walk away with a pair of glasses for about $10 since the glare reduction or scratch resistance on the lens is just a $4 upgrade.
The ones that my husband and I had just got were both about $40 each. I have astigmatism and so mine costs a little bit more on my lenses. I also suffer from migraines and so the fact that they block the blue light and reduce everything really helps me with my migraines. Also, I could either slip on the sunglasses clip or have the actual sunglasses and still function because I used to buy an oversized pair of sunglasses to pop on over my glasses, which is not very trendy or appealing at all to look at. And so, the fact that I’m able to look semi-deligent while not dying from migraine has been a lifesaver for me.

I initially went with Zenni Optical for glasses because of the pricing and I've been ordering from them for about five years now. I get them for me and my two children. The website is a little slow loading and it could have a better format or algorithm to pull up the choices. The drop-down boxes are cumbersome too. The selection could be a little broader as well, but it satisfies my needs. I wish though that they had more athletic sports glass frames because my kids break their glasses and it takes dollars to repair them.
On the other hand, their customer service has been prompt and professional. When I had a pair of glasses that were a rush delivery and they did not get here rush delivery, they refunded my money. Zenni Optical is perfect. I just love how it’s convenient price point and easily done on mine. I can also wear multiple styles because I can afford it.

I was due for new glasses, and had been encouraged by some friends and family members to buy online, specifically from Zenni. I was very skeptical about doing so, and I will confess that perhaps my skepticism was related to my age (I am 66, and have needed glasses since I was 12). I looked over the site and thought "Well, for the prices it is worth a try." I require a Progressive lens. I received my glasses today. They are the WORST glasses I have had in my life. Oh, the frames are fine, mind you. But I cannot see at all, at the intermediate and close range, without a near-instant headache. The distance seems OK but still induces some eye strain. I have been in contact, and not surprisingly there is no such thing as a refund.
I must return the glasses for an "exam", where if they find they were made incorrectly, they will remake them. If they find they were made correctly, they will offer 100% store credit, or 50% refund. Needless to say, my full anticipation is that they will claim they were made correctly. I have received the return information including a return label. I do not intend to update this review with results of my return. I do not intend ever to go to Zenni again, nor buy online for glasses. I will pay the up-charge to go to an optical house where my PD and everything else can be measured, and where I can deal in person with a knowledgeable staff.

A lady at the eye doctor's place told us about Zenni Optical and they were a lot cheaper than the eye doctor we go to. We’ve ordered a total of three pairs from them and the online ordering process was fine. The first pair came right and Richard wanted another pair because those glasses kept coming loose, so I ordered the same pair for him. Supposedly, they were the same ones and Zenni's site showed the big glasses, but the glasses came with the smaller lenses instead of the wider ones that he likes. Richard can’t wear them, so I doubt if we would be ordering a third pair. I have the small lens and they don’t bother me because I only have the bifocal lens in the bottom and the top part is clear. But when Richard looks through the top of his glasses, all he sees is the rim of the lens. He went with the rimless glasses because they look better.

Zenni Optical's price point is amazing. I also like their selections and options of colors. I’ve done full rim on most of my orders and I had one purchase of half-rim glasses. Ordering online is all easy too. No spam whatsoever. Their website also has tools that are hugely helpful like the first time I ordered from them, I uploaded a picture and tried the frames on my face. I ordered again two weeks ago, which was the fourth or fifth time I’ve ordered from them, and I just took the quiz on what shape of face I have and use that as a jump-off point to the color choices that I wanted. Also, everything’s come on a reasonable time. Zenni is a great company--them allowing options, styles, and colors is outstanding. I've told people who got glasses for $300-$400 about them and that they need to go online.

Until now I have been reasonably pleased with Zenni but unfortunately have changed my opinion. I have purchased more than 6 pairs of glasses in the past and now they will not replace a lens I lost because screw came out of the frame. I am willing to pay whatever replacement cost is but they will not even deal with the loss in any way. Guess this is the price we pay for cheap stuff.

I have ordered several pairs of glasses from Zenni-ordered a pair in July 2018 that were suppose to change when in sunlight. Well they don't. Called and was told to take pictures of them inside and then outside after 15 minutes and to put them in the freezer. Needless to say still have same glasses and they still do not change. So I ordered another pair on October 2 2018 they were mailed out from CA and were suppose to arrive on October 15, 2018. Guess what they haven't arrived yet and showing in limbo on the USPS site. This is horrible service. The gentleman I talked to about the previous glasses was very rude. If I get my glasses this will be my last order from this company. Service has gone downhill really fast.

I like Zenni's pricing. I found them after doing a web search and I’ve ordered twice over a year from them. Their online ordering process works and gets the job done. Also, the quality of their glasses matches their price. If it’s a $6 pair, it’s gonna be a $6 pair. For me, everything I got from them was what I paid for. Today, I talked to my dentist and she said her husband buys there, too. So people are actually using Zenni. I'd recommend them as well because of their pricing.

Zenni has agreed to redo my glasses without any payment including store credit: the redone glasses is being shipped to me tomorrow, I will offer most likely positive comments after I received the glasses. The cause of the misunderstanding was due to one of Zenni's customer service rep who initially insisted I should get the store credit or 50% money back.

Please don't fall for Zenni PD self-measurement game. Get the PD measurements done by the professionals with the right device because they will refuse to take blame for telling you to do your own measurement: don't fall for it, it's a way to get you to pay another 100% for store credit or end up with only 50% refund (while they still keep the materials for re-use).

The price was outstanding and I like all the options. I made two purchases and ordering online was easy, but what was on the prescription was labeled a little differently than what was on Zenni's website, so I got the help of my co-workers for my prescription information and put it in there. The orders came in a timely manner and it’s been a good experience. I especially love getting your name engraved on the side. All my son’s friends were jealous and they wish they had on theirs. I’ll keep using Zenni.

I have purchased about six pairs of glasses from Zenni Optical for myself and different people. The little cloth that they give you between the glasses, is a plus. I bought the camouflage glasses for work because they cover most of my eye, but I wish the lenses were a little bit bigger. I wanted to buy some Aviator glasses, but the prescription lenses look like it’s too small. I wish it could cover the whole Aviator glasses. When my camouflage glasses broke the side leg, they were out of it on the internet. But once I called, they had some in stock for such cases, which was really smart of them. I always recommend Zenni Optical. Their glasses are a little bit flimsy but it’s really good for the price. They’re really economical.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Save yourself a world of hassle. Ordered glasses September 27th, did not receive within the 21 days I was told I would receive them. I had even called in October 6th to confirm I was receiving my glasses as they had not even been processed yet. So when I contacted them against October 17th I was told that my order had been stuck in transit since October 4th 2 DAYS BEFORE I SPOKE TO A CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE WHO ASSURED ME I WOULD BE RECEIVING MY GLASSES. So they told me as an apology they would refund me 15 dollars (gave me store credit for somewhere I would never do business with again lol).
They also ensured me I would be receiving express shipping for my continued inconveniences. However, upon receiving an email of an invoice it was still set to standard shipping. I had to call in for over an hour trying to convince one customer service to switch it from standard to express. The first 3 people I spoke to told me this could not be done regardless of my prior email I received confirming I would be given this as an exception. Hung up on me said they would transfer me to management.
Save yourself the headache. order from 39DollarGlasses, EyeBuyDirect, Clearly, GlassesUSA, iLookGlasses. Any alternative is better for the way they treat their customers and mistakes they make constantly while never being proactive enough to manage my order properly. Even with confirming and trying to ensure through micromanaging that I would receive my glasses on time I had to wait over a month and I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY GLASSES. Worst company I've ever had to deal with in my entire life. Do not purchase from Zenni Optical or you will regret it due to wasted time, inferior product, and mentally incapable customer service. It seems like the customer service workers they just pick out of the McDonalds reject line.

I have bought five different pairs of glasses from Zenni - progressives and single vision lenses. It was too expensive to buy them from my optometrist. So, I looked for a less price. The first time I ordered however, I ordered with the wrong PD distance, and I needed to change them but they were already starting to be shipped. It was confrontational at first dealing with customer service about it. They told me that there’s nothing they can do. I said that I can’t use those glasses because they were wrong so I asked how am going to return them. We ended up canceling the order then they refunded me half of the cost. Then, I had to order the glasses again. I did not appreciate how the interaction started off but then they got helpful thereafter.
I've told people that it’s a good bargain. My Zenni glasses are better than the ones that I bought at my optometrist that were $250 after my insurance. With Zenni, I paid $70 for two pairs after my insurance and it was definitely worth the cost of it. I’ve had them for a year, and they’re still really good glasses. They also have the blue-light blockers. They have the wear and tear, and they’ve kept the longevity so I’m happy with that. I’ve had my daughter buying from a different online place, and we haven’t had a bit of luck with those. Overall, Zenni has done a good job.

We were sorry to read that when you first brought this matter to our attention, you felt that our customer service team’s response was confrontational, rather than gracious and committed to problem-solving. Consequently, we want to apologize for any dismay you experienced as a result. We were glad to read that afterwards, we did take a problem-solving approach: Although the glasses had been manufactured, they had not yet been shipped, so we were able to stop shipment of the order and issue a full refund of the amount you spent on the order in the form of store credit to your Zenni Optical account. You used this store credit to reorder your glasses with the correct PD on your next order, in November 2017, and we are happy to learn that you are satisfied with those glasses, and with the single-vision computer glasses you ordered in July of this year. However, as you mentioned over the telephone, seemingly permanent smudges have appeared on the lenses of the glasses from the November 2017 order, which may be a result of anti-reflective coating failure. As we confirmed in our phone conversation with you, we are emailing you instructions to return these glasses to us for an inspection of the anti-reflective coating. This feature has a one-year warranty, and this order is covered under this warranty. We are also emailing you a prepaid shipping label you may use for return postage. We will be eager to get these glasses back (which we understand will be coming to us in the green frame, 326024), and when we have inspected them, we will email you the inspection results. If our inspection finds that the anti-reflective coating has failed, we will offer to remake the glasses for you for free, or if you prefer, issue a 100 percent store credit refund to your Zenni Optical account. It was simple to input my prescription and find rimless glasses with titanium earpieces. However the transfer from manufacturing to shipping takes several days and I can’t understand why it takes days more to actually start the USPS shipping process. A few days to enter the shipping information then several more before the post office accepts the shipments and you can start tracking delivery. Extremely inefficient and frustrating. I’ve ordered four pairs from Zenni over the past four years with good results except for delivery. I did have one pair start to come loose after 10 months and it was not possible to keep the screws tight.

No followup with customers. I made three orders since last April. The first two orders were good, but the last one I did, September 28, is still in process. It is October 12 and I still don't know when I will receive my glasses! The status of my order is still: Processing. Usually, it takes about 3-4 days to wear the glasses over the few days of shipping, but it's been two weeks since they made two new pairs of glasses! I have written twice to customer service for answers.
During my first conversation with the customer service I was told to have to wait 2 to 4 days since they had not received some parts to complete the order. I wrote a second time to the customer service and they just wrote me that they were sorry and that I would be informed as soon as possible, but it is not an acceptable answer after such a long delay.
I once had a high opinion of Zenni and I encouraged my loved ones to buy there, but I realize I was wrong. If the situation does not change soon, I will have to resign myself to no longer doing business with them. I have been a patient client so far, but now I'm really done with it. Also, there's no place to leave a review on their website and to me, it's looks like you're not totally honest with your customers if they can't find reviews about you on your website or even on your Facebook.

I spoke to 5 representatives and each one was a man from a foreign country who constantly interrupted me, and showed absolutely no respect. 2 was when I had questions about my order (should have stopped then). 3 was dealing with the return. I was placed on hold for 15 minutes waiting to speak with a supervisor, then was disconnected.
Their return policy is awful. I ordered non prescription glasses with blue-blocking because the fluorescent lights at work bother my eyes. The glasses I received do nothing to help with my problem, but according to Zenni's return policy I'm screwed. I can either send them back for half a refund, or full store credit. They offer no other options for blue blocking, so store credit is no good to me. The only way I can get a full refund is to send the glasses back, and they will test them to see if they actually put the blue blocking coating on. If they did screw up and forgot the coating, then they will give me a full refund. I don't trust them to be honest at this point. Remember, you get what you pay for.

Zenni has a lot of styles available and I went for the full rim glasses. Other than the uploading of the face and putting on the lenses didn’t really work for me, the whole online ordering experience was good. It was simple, quick, and didn’t cost me too much. Also, the quality of the glasses is decent.

Since you mention that uploading your picture using our Frame Fit® feature did not work for you, we looked at the two pairs of glasses on your two orders, one from September 2017, the other from March 2018, each with the same prescription. The first order includes frame 6498921, which has a frame width of 142 millimeters. For these glasses, you used a pupillary distance (PD) of 65 mm. Your second order includes frame 366621, which has a frame width of 128 mm. For these glasses, you used a PD of 52 mm. We see no notes in the database record of either order indicating you called to complain about the size of the glasses or the vision through the lenses. This is surprising, since the two frames have very difference frame widths, indicating that at least one of these frames would not fit you well if the other one did. Also, because the two PDs are very different, we are surprised that you did not contact us to advise that, with at least one of these pairs of glasses, you had a hard time focusing with both eyes through both lenses. We want to confirm that it is important to get the PD measured accurately, either from the eye doctor who provides the prescription, or, if the eye doctor declines to provide this measurement, by a friend or family member, or by measuring it yourself. The PD determines where our lab technicians place the optical center on each lens, and the optical center is a crucial factor in your being able to see well through the lenses. Zenni Optical has a variety of glasses and they have a better price than other stores. Their website is user-friendly and it was easy to go there. I put some data and I could test the frame by the picture frame there. They also have glasses with accurate data and the quality is secured. I noticed though that they used to have a lot of different stuff and now it has gotten fewer and fewer. Nevertheless, I recommend Zenni to many of my friends. It is a good place to go.

I placed an order on Zenni September 5. Received tracking info saying the glasses left Hong Kong on the 10th. Today is now the 6th of October and I have not received the glasses as yet. Contacting customer service is a waste of time cause no one ever responds. I would like to get a refund please.

I order 2 pair of glasses, on the 20th of September 2018, I paid for express shipping, which was an additional 18.95. I am still awaiting my glasses, they are located at a UPS facility in Lake Charles, Louisiana, which is 30 minutes from my home. They have been there since September 26, 2018. I want answers and moreover I want my glasses & if I don’t receive them in the next couple days, I will request a full refund. This is ridiculous.

You should receive an email from our lab later tonight with the confirmation of the $8.45 refund to your PayPal account and the new order number for the rushed remake. Zenni Optical is cost-effective for me and I like their variety. I've been ordering from them for two years and I have the round, half-rim and full-rim styles so I can wear them depending on how I feel that day or what I'm wearing. Their customer service reps are friendly and they give a quick response. Everyone's pretty good. Also, if you order from them, they have all your information including your prescription so you can just order another one easily. It frees up a lot of time rather than going back and re-typing everything. I recommend Zenni to anyone all the time, even without them asking.

All in all, I had a great experience with Zenni. The glasses came earlier in the mail than I expected and the website was easy to use. I loved the photo upload since I couldn’t try on frames in person. The hard part was that the frames come in a fixed size and it can be hard to know exactly the measurements you need but mine turned out pretty good. I took measurements of my old frames and used that as a reference when comparing. Choosing metal frames allowed me to make tiny adjustments. Also, they sent a free case and cleaning cloth. I love my new glasses!

My friend from work told me about Zenni Optical when I broke my glasses and I've purchased twice now from them. Their quality and price were better than any other eyewear company I’ve tried before. I typically get the regular rectangular-framed, mostly plastic, because I work in a shop so I can’t really wear glass for safety reason. The online ordering process was step-by-step. You just have to put in your prescription and all the other information. It was straightforward and easy. Shipping wasn’t long either. It's just a great experience overall. Zenni Optical is a great company if you’re looking for something fast, affordable and great quality. The website is great too. You can see what they’d look like on a picture review. I purchased two pairs of glasses in February 2018 for $144.75. This was the worst experience I have ever had with glasses! Both pairs of glasses fog up within five to 15 minutes of having them on! Cheaper price equals cheaper product quality. I called customer service and I was told since I was outside of the 30 day return policy nothing could be done. When I told the customer service representative "You get what you pay for, lower price equals lower quality product. I will never ever purchase from Zenni again!" he suggested I could mail the glasses back. I told him it was not worth my time to pay shipping, handling and postage for a cheap product and to keep the $144.75. Crappy product!!!
Updated on 10/17/2018: Customer service offered to have the cheap product quality glasses remade. I do not wish to have the glasses remade because both pairs are defective. It is very irritating to put these glasses on because they repeatedly need cleaning. I want a refund issued to my method of payment which was my Bank of America Visa account or send me a shipping container so that I will not have to utilize my time and money sending these defective glasses back to you. This experience is not isolated! My cousin, J. **, also ordered two pairs of glasses from Zenni based upon the cost savings. She stated that both pairs of her glasses also become foggy within five to 15 minutes of having them on inside and outdoors.
She also cannot see out of the glasses when they become foggy without constantly cleaning them. One pair of her glasses were tinted. Per the customer review blogs this has happened to other customers as well. Your company is a sham located in China and this is the way you all rip customers off. I am going to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and the Better Business Bureau. Cheaper product quality was not worth the savings. Public confidence on your products are low. I wish I'd looked at the reviews before I purchased the glasses from your company. Don't buy from Zenni, you will be ripped off.

I initially went with the plastic wood-like frames but there was a problem with the lens coating, and Zenni recently replaced it for me, so I much appreciated that. They were very helpful. I had a problem with my glasses and they fixed it. Customer service is always very important to me, so I appreciate it.

I was looking for a nice pair of Prescription Glasses, thought I would go online and order a pair from Zenni they have great styles & prices. I submitted my order on 9/12/18, checked status after a week or so which stated in process. I checked my status after 3 weeks, their system stated ready to be shipped... Yay! Well... no glasses yet. Today is 10/2, I paid an extra $18.50 for business express (4-7 business days) so I decided to speak with their online Chat Reps. who stated they are waiting on the lenses to be shipped to the company, which they had run out of... I advised the rep. my order status has said ready to be shipped for 2 weeks is this false information? Per the rep., my glasses are waiting for a shipment of lenses, and if I want they would refund my $18.50 for the 4-7 day shipping.
So after a long back and forth Chat, I was advised my frames are available but my order was not ready to be shipped because the lenses are not in the glasses. This is falsified information, so please do not believe Zenni Online Tracking Information they are not to be trusted. I will never order from them again, and someone needs to check on their business transactions and to top it off I still have not received my $18.50 refund or glasses. Still waiting...

I've made three purchases from Zenni Optical in the past couple of years. The first glasses were rectangular, metal frame. Second one was large, square frame plastic, with engraving. The last one was small, circular, metal frame. I filled out the prescription numbers of my eye prescription online once, and it was very easy to find. The face that Zenni put on there allows you to see what the glasses look like and the size of glasses, which made ordering very easy. The only trouble I had before was if I wanted to go back, it resets everything.
I like the amount of glasses that Zenni have showcased on the website, and if I went back to look for my old pair of glasses, it would come up. But it's confusing when I have to search through Zenni's list of glassees in the website. I have to do a specific search for my glasses that I had before by going through my past purchases. Other than that, I've recommended to a lot of my friends to use Zenni.

Zenni Optical has a more competitive price than other optical companies. I’ve already made plenty of purchases from them and I've had their glasses for 8 years now. On the website, they even have a model there where you can put the glasses on to see how big they are on an average face. I used that when I made my first purchase. I order my glasses and the customer service is good. If I lose my glasses and I need them right away, I get the expedited shipping. I like the style of full rim glasses and it's what I got. The quality is nice and better for what I paid for. I recommend Zenni.

I have ordered from this company three times this year. I didn't enjoy the process much, and I was wondering why I just didn't go to a store and just hand them the prescription. Instead at Zenni, you input ALL the data yourself, and then watch YouTube videos on how to calculate "PD" which is not normally given with eyeglass prescriptions.
After doing all that, I was sent emails from Zenni that my prescription would not fit in the frame I selected (unknowable until they tell you). I called customer service, and found out from them what frame would work, and changed the order. THE PROBLEM IS THEIR COMPANY SAVES THE ORDER OF THE WRONG FRAME ORDER. Instead of storing the data of the glasses they actually sent me, they save the order with the WRONG frame. So when you select the reorder icon from your order history, it orders the frame that didn't work the first time!
I just tried for the third time to get someone from their organization to fix the glitch and was told I needed to "START FROM SCRATCH!" You would think an online company in 2018 would be able to correct the problem without putting the onus back on their paying customer to fix. I told the agent that if I DO "start from scratch," I will be doing it at another optical company. I was promised a call from a supervisor after I asked and they said there were none available - that call never came... If they won't help someone who has ordered from them three times in less than a year, who WILL they help?? I feel more like an unpaid employee than a customer.

The tradeoff is that you save hundreds of dollars on your glasses by ordering from an online optical retailer such as Zenni that offers high-quality glasses for prices much lower than those of the glasses of local optical retailers. To assist customers in the order process, we have important information about ordering posted on our website, including a downloadable pupillary distance (PD) ruler, and an infographic and how-to video explaining how to measure your PD. Regarding your comment about your previous order information, which includes the frame you initially selected that was changed to a different model as a result of the lab’s input, we want to confirm that this is part of your private, password-protected account information, to which Zenni Optical employees have no access. We cannot save to your account the frame model number that replaced a previous selection. But we do attempt to clarify what happens when a customer changes a frame, either on their own, or in consultation with our lab technicians. Ordered a pair of glasses from Zenni and from the time they came out of the case they had the worst streaking glare at night. I took pictures and contacted Zenni, they told me to send them back. So I did. They sent me an email claiming that they must of been exposed to extreme heat to have the coating fail and was not a manufacturing defect. This made no sense to me since they only leave my head at night when I sleep in a room that is maintained at a 68 degree temp. Then they said that the prescription I provided was wrong so I checked it and found that not to be true either. Upon receiving the glasses back I immediately wore them again to find out that now the streaking glare has been corrected on the left lense but not the right and now they want me to send them in again so they can try to make them correctly since 3rd time is hopefully the charm.

Moreover, the name of the patient on the prescription, although difficult to read, is not your name. Therefore, we may have uploaded another customer’s prescription to the database record of your order by mistake, because the location of the eye doctor’s office, Virginia Beach, Virginia, is obviously not in your state, South Carolina. It is good to know, however, that the prescription you used to order these glasses is apparently your prescription, because, as you confirmed, you can see with the glasses – the only issue is that there is a problem with the anti-reflective coating, causing inordinate glare on the right lens. Since we will need the remade glasses returned to us to issue either the free remake or the refund, we are emailing you from the database record of the remade order instructions to return the glasses for an inspection. We are separately emailing you a prepaid shipping label you may use for return postage. We are very eager to get these glasses back, so that we may inspect them and, if our inspection finds a defect in the anti-reflective coating on the right lens, as the previous inspection found on both lenses, remake the glasses once again or issue a full PayPal refund. We hope that the option you choose will resolve this matter to your satisfaction.

I like my glasses and I can see through them. I got the transition and they still transition just fine. I haven't bought any glasses since I got them about a year ago. All in all, it was a good experience and I've recommended Zenni a few times. Glasses are expensive anywhere else but you can get them cheap and good quality from Zenni.

I was at first extremely pleased with my glasses purchase. I ordered express and it took the full time but at least I got them in under 2 weeks. They looked, worked, and fit well. I told many people about Zenni. They had a great customer selling their product for them. THEN :( I found out I had been cheated by them! I busted a temple on my glasses and had to look up my receipt to see the frame number to reorder. I found they had listed the correct $6.95 (advertised) price for my frame at the top, but slipped in a $20.95 charge for the frame when it went into the total below! They SWITCHED the price and overcharged me!
I called them and said there was an error and they insisted on the larger price was because I was ordering prescription frames. I said no- I pay $49.95 later on for the prescription part, plus an added $12.95 fee for my astigmatism. Their person would not budge on a refund. I said, "What country do you operate out of? I looked and it's CALIFORNIA! I say BAIT AND SWITCH! Illegal! I'm calling the California AG and leaving a bad review". He offer me a replacement frame instead. I say, "You owe me two for the overcharge." He said he's sending it. Then I see I have a warranty and he owed me frames anyway. So here's my first bad review. Many more to come. And I'm going forward with bait and switch charges. Look at your receipt. Maybe we'll have a class action suit.

A friend of mine recommended Zenni Optical and they are cheaper than others. My friend also told me that their lenses are lighter than other companies’ lens. That's very comfortable because my lens can be heavy. I've ordered 3 times already in about 2 years and the process is easy. I got the full rim and lightweight glasses. However, I had to adjust the nose pads and sometimes they’re heavier than what I expected because I’m looking for light weight. Zenni's glasses are maybe not perfect or not too fashionable, but still wearable and don’t look bad. They're affordable and good quality. Zenni is a reliable company and I recommend them.

I bought a pair of children's frames for my two-year-old, by day 2 the lens fell out. We snapped it back in. It's now loose and we have to constantly snap it back in. I contacted them to ask for how to fix this, and it started with - "We need a photo", then another rep says, "We need a video" and then the third rep says, "Send them back in." Really? So my two-year-old has to go w/o glasses?? No, send a loner pair. I can't just leave her without her glasses for God knows how long -- so you can just friggin' put some glue on the lens.
Honestly, it took forever to even get these frames, I ordered at the same time from Discount Glasses and got them a WEEK before Zenni even sent theirs. They make them, then send to a shipping facility in CA, then send out to you. Waiting waiting waiting. UGH. Never, ever buying from these people again. I only bought because I had a credit. Discount Glasses - the same type of frame - but we don't have this issue. Still waiting to see what they will do now - no reply back yet.

Ordered a magnifying lens. Received a foggy non magnifying lens. Called the 800 number (in Novato? Yeah right). rep told me I could have a 100% 'store credit' or 50% refund. I wanted an entire refund. Finally, I agreed to take the store credit and order another pair. THEN she told me that I would have to pay shipping on the new ones (original order was advertised 'free shipping', and that's one of the reasons I made the purchase. So, I responded to an online ad, made what seemed like a good purchase, received a product that is unusable/unwearable, and then when I tried to rectify it I found that no matter what I chose to do, they were going to charge me MORE money. They want more money from me because THEY failed to deliver a usable product. AND, this company is NOT in Novato. It's in CHINA! STAY CLEAR!!

We are sorry for any misunderstanding you experienced regarding the +1.50 magnification in the Spherical section of the page where you enter your prescription, and the 1.50 standard index lens you selected, which you believed that, since the numbers were the same, would have the +1.50 magnification in the lens, rather than being a non-prescription lens. Consequently, we want to apologize for any dismay you experienced when you received these glasses and they did not have the magnification you expected would be on the lenses. We are also sorry that the customer service representative with whom you spoke after you received the glasses was not particularly helpful, and we apologize for this, as well. Nevertheless, it is good to know that you accepted our offer to remake your glasses for free, with the reading magnification you desire, once the glasses are returned to us, and once you confirm the magnification power you want and your pupillary distance (PD). It's easy and simple to order from Zenni online, and I like it. I ordered glasses that would get dark when you go out in the sunlight. Once that came, it didn't do that, so I had to contact customer service.

Regarding your comment about the glasses with the photochromic feature, which causes the lenses to become tinted in the bright sunlight then clear again out of the sun, we were sorry to read that you ordered a pair of glasses with the photochromic feature, but the lenses did not get dark. We see no notes in the database records of any of your 2018 orders, none of which has photochromic lenses, nor in the database record of your most recent order for a pair of glasses with photochromic lenses, which is from December 2017. We also do not see any notes in the order preceding that one, which also was ordered with photochromic lenses, in June 2017. We are sorry to confirm that, if this pair, in gray half-rim frame 524912, is the one with lenses that are not turning dark, these glasses are beyond the one-year warranty period for the photochromic feature. However, the most recent order you placed for a pair of glasses with the photochromic feature, in black half-rim frame 461921, is within the one-year warranty period, since, as we noted, it was placed in December 2017. Therefore, we are going to email you from the database record of this order the instructions to return these glasses for an inspection of the photochromic feature. We will also email you a prepaid shipping label you may use for return postage. If the pair in 524912 also is not getting dark, you may enclose those glasses as well in the envelope you use to return 461921, and we will inspect those as well as a courtesy. If we find that the lenses of the glasses are not turning dark in the bright sunlight, we can remake them for you for free. If we find that the lenses of the glasses are turning dark, we can return the glasses to you, or issue a 50 percent refund to the credit cards you used to pay for these orders, or issue a 100 percent refund of the price of the glasses in the form of store credit to your Zenni Optical account. We are eager to receive these returned glasses, so that we may inspect them and resolve this matter to your satisfaction.
