    I love the price and styles available. But I got the clip on for my frames and it scratched my lens and frames. I was told to send a picture of the damage. I sent a picture of it and asked what my options are. I was informed to ship it back to verify the scratch and if determined then new lenses will be made. No options given, no questions asked. I have one pair or glasses, I donate all my old ones and can't just ship it back for a maybe we might help you. I'm dealing with the scratch as it's at the edge. I will plan on doing business elsewhere in the future because of this. A flaw in the planning of the clip on shades scratching the lens and frames because of screw placement and then the lack of follow through really ruined my experience.

    Sent 2 pairs of glasses back and was only credited for one. One pair of sunglasses I did not like and pair of glasses have to change prescription. I have ordered before and had no problems. Not sure what has changed with policies, but I will be using local store instead from now on.

    I ordered a thick frame glasses through Zenni. When the glasses arrived I was in shock to see it was VERY crooked and did not fit on my face at all. I tried to adjust but the frame is very thick and it always goes back to the wrong default crooked way. I'm very dissatisfied with the purchase I made and I don't recommend them to anyone.

    I recommend Zenni to friends. The first time I ordered, I never even looked anywhere else because a friend recommended them. However, I messed up because I didn’t really understand it too much, and I made it a minus instead of a plus. Once I got my order, I called Zenni and we realized what the mistake was. They were great. Zenni took them back, made me a new pair and they were good quality for the price. I ordered quite a bit since and the website was easy. It’s even a little better now with the picture on how you can try the glasses on.

    After my husband had a great experience purchasing eyeglasses from Zenni, I thought I'd give it a try. I'd always purchased corrective eyeglasses and contacts from the optometrist or retailer, and thought they seemed pricey. With my prescription in hand, it was easy to set up an account and start shopping. You can even upload a photo of yourself to 'try on' different styles. I settled on 2 pairs and with my prescription it cost just over $50! The glasses came about a week later. I was very happy with the fit and received many compliments. I even recommended Zenni to others.

    Fast forward 5 weeks and the frame on one pair is chipping away. I take good care of my glasses, cleaning them daily, keeping them in their case when not in use.

    So today I spoke with their customer service who tell me, sorry, but I have to buy a new set of frames and just pop the same lenses in. Well, why would I want to buy another of the same frame if it is inferior quality? Then I'm told I'd have to purchase an entire new pair. Sure, that'd probably be about $30. But after only wearing them 5 weeks (mind you, swapping out with the other pair so not even daily use)? Sadly they would not compromise. Lesson learned: you get what you pay for. Maybe other companies stand behind the quality of their products. Guess I'll have to go searching elsewhere.

    My wife liked the Zenni Optical selection and bought some glasses from them. But when she ordered mine, she put in the order and prescription and it wasn't filled correctly. I had some correction as far as nearsightedness but there was also some prism that was supposed to be there. We had the glasses checked after we got them and there was no prism put in there. I've probably had them for two to three months and then, I went to get some prescription, went to take it to another place that prescribed them and had them checked when I got a different pair. For regular prescriptions, Zenni is fine. But I don't think I'd be able to go back to Zenni because they didn't give me the right prescriptions. I had to go buy some more expensive ones. Other than that, I'm satisfied with my experience.

Nearsighted corrections are minus numbers; farsighted corrections are plus numbers, and plus numbers (right eye: +2.00, left eye: +2.25), were entered in the Sphere section on your order. In addition, when you mentioned prism corrections, we thought that, when we looked up your order, we would see that they were either bifocals or progressive glasses, for which we do not provide prism corrections. But the prescription entered for your order was for single-vision, and for single-vision prescriptions we do offer prism corrections. We were sorry to see that no prism values were entered on your order.     I decided to try Zenni Optical after my dog got ahold of my glasses and destroyed them. I needed something that could be delivered quickly as I can barely see without them. The website was easy to navigate and I loved the “try it on” feature. I couldn’t believe the amazing prices! I normally pay $200 for one pair at my local eye clinic. I paid for express shipping and expected the glasses to arrive in 7-10 days, but they arrived in just 3 days! I can see perfectly with them. The case and cleaning cloth were an added bonus.     I've been wearing Zenni for six years and I have ordered from them three times. Two of them were from the Pride lines, which supports The Trevor Project, and one of them was a pair of standard frames for sunglasses. The ordering process is super straightforward. They explain everything that I need to do and once I do it once, I don't have to pay attention also. Also, they exceeded their shipping time.     I have a strong correction and need progressive lenses. An optician might charge me up to $500 for a pair. When I started using Zenni, low price was the draw. But quality -- once I got my first pair -- kept me coming back. I might buy two pairs a year, plus sunglasses. I might mention how Zenni solved one problem. The plastic (silicone?) nose pads broke on one pair. Zenni sent me (for no charge) a kit with new pads (and extras), tiny screws, and a screwdriver. My glasses with progressive correction and high index polycarbonate usually run about $130 or thereabouts.

    Zenni was cheaper compared to others and I ordered myself full-frame glasses a year ago and then just recently, I ordered for my son, which was the third time I ordered. The second time was about six months ago when I ordered six sunglasses and the clips to go over my glasses. Everything was fine interacting with their customer service and every time I used them, they were a little bit early which was great. I’ve been happy with Zenni.

    Purchased glasses mid Jan. Everything was as expected. However, now the lenses are separating from the frame. I have tried several times to reach customer service, sat on hold for well over 20 minutes only to be disconnected. I have not been able to successfully get ahold of anyone, despite being told average hold time is 7 minutes. I just need glasses that work. I spent over 100 dollars and expected them to last longer than 4 months! There are 4 people (2 under 13 years old) in my household that wear glasses, I have never had them fall apart after 4 months.

    The Zenni website is superb. Extremely attractive, easy to navigate and loaded with information about ordering prescription eyeglasses, all in a clear, comprehensible format. The Zenni prices are excellent. The selection of frames is quite good. Customer service, however, is pretty much non-existent. No email or chat access. By phone, it is a very long wait to reach someone who has limited communication ability and limited knowledge of tasks to assist customers. I made several calls, all were fruitless. I personally accept having to rely on the website to deal with Zenni. If your order arrives as you imagine it, great. If not, expect difficulty attempting to get it straightened out over the phone, which is the only way to contact Zenni.

    This was my first order on Zenni, I typically use a local company and have for years. My wife and kids suggested I try Zenni as it would be less time to get my glasses, big mistake! Ordering was great easy and selection of frames was decent, However Zenni's shipping department is definitely lacking professionalism and knowledge about the job they do. I paid for express delivery, which is UPS world saver, normally 1-3 business days.

    My glasses are still sitting in customs and awaiting the rest of the 700+ packages they sent in the bulk to arrive! That's right. I paid for express shipping and it was bulked with everything they sent out that day. So customs will not release a single package until the entire shipment is all in one location and has cleared. I called Zenni and was told if I did not have my glasses by tomorrow, they would refund the shipping cost. Well that's great, right? I still cannot see and who knows when my glasses will show up? On Monday I have to return to work, which not being able to see is going to make that tough. In the future I will continue to patronize my local eyeglass provider, because the cost is nothing compared to taking care of your customers needs promptly.

    I like that Zenni Optical's price is cheap. I get prescription sunglasses, so I just need a cheap pair that works for me. I order from Zenni about once a year. Usually every year, I'll get a new prescription and I'll get new sunglasses. I was ordering it on my phone, so I had some issues I had to go back. But aside from that, everything went good. Also, the quality of the products is good for the cheap price that it is.

    The ads with the glasses' IDs listed have pictures at the bottom that are misrepresentative to the size or shape to come in the mail. These ads are using falsified pictures as in smaller details listed below are the actual sizes of the glasses that don’t even fit on the face is shown in the pictures. I uploaded a picture of myself and added the glasses to my face that show they fit but indeed when arriving to my home they did not. My options now are a store credit and I have to wait three weeks!

These frame dimensions are a much better guide to determine how the glasses will fit you than the try-on feature on the website, which is good to show how the color and style of the frame look on you, but not as effective regarding how the frame fits your face. We have a much more precise tool on our website to help you to determine whether the frame will fit you. It is our How to Measure Your Frame Size infographic, which can be found toward the middle of the bottom of every Zenni Optical page: https://www.zennioptical.com/measure-eyeglass-frame-size-how-to. Once you use the instructions in this infographic to measure the frame of a pair of glasses you have that fits you well and looks good on your face, you can shop for a frame on our website that has similar dimensions. Each element has a leeway of at least 2 millimeters, with the leeway for temple arms 3-4 mm. The frame width is the most important measurement to determine whether the glasses will fit you well. The frame you selected, 419111, has a frame width of 132 mm. This frame also comes in a larger size, 4190, which has a frame width of 140 mm.     I ordered two pairs of glasses over 3 months ago. 1st pair arrived and even though they looked and felt cheap and flimsy I opted to use them. They fell apart 2 days later. Called Zenni. Sat on hold over 30 minutes (despite the estimate 7 minutes, they always say 7 minutes, never happens). I was told that they would remake them and send a new pair. New pair arrived and fell apart the first day. Second pair from original order arrived in the meantime. The prescription/manufacture was SO FAR OFF I Couldn't USE THEM!

    I called. Sat on hold for a about an hour to be told that I could return for a credit. NO RETURNS! I returned them and had to use a my credit to re-order the glasses. Today is May 24th, they were ordered on April 28th... I have wasted hours on the phone with these people and what I have received is JUNK. I am now waiting for yet another pair of glasses to replace that pair that I never received. UGHHH. BTW, these are made in China, put on a boat and then mailed USPS from California. SLOW SLOW SLOW, RUDE RUDE RUDE, JUNK JUNK JUNK!

However, the progressives you ordered and paid for mostly with this store credit, on April 28, 2019, has not yet been delivered to you. According to the U.S. Postal Service website, these glasses are in transit as of today, May 28, 2019, and should be delivered to you soon. Meanwhile, we issued a remake of these glasses, because there was no update on usps.com for 10 days after the initial tracking information was posted. According to the post office website, these remade glasses are out for delivery to you today. We hope that you receive these glasses today, we hope that you receive the previous pair very soon, and of course we hope that both pairs work well for you. We additionally hope that these matters will be resolved to your satisfaction when you have the glasses from both orders.     Zenni Optical was one of the cheapest and it looked like they had good quality glasses. I ordered full rim glasses online and navigating through Zenni's website was very easy. I just typed in the prescription and ordered it. We’ll be ordering another pair soon for a backup. They’re good glasses.     The ordering process was lovely and easy. The frames appeared to be great quality. HOWEVER, a lens popped out within the first evening of wearing these and got lost. I called and spoke to a supervisor in their customer care who said the only way to replace it was to essentially wait 3 weeks before we get the new ones (I have to mail mine back, then they give me store credit, then they ship it back). Easily 3 weeks. I have a 7 year old who can't see and who is devastated that the glasses we were already waiting for for 2 weeks now will not be here for an additional 3 weeks. I'm very frustrated that their customer care team was unable to simply mail out a replacement lens - easy peasy. I even told them I would pay to overnight ship it. Nope. Feeling defeated.

    Despite sending me glasses with visible stripes (lines) in the anti-reflective coating, they refused to send me another pair while I sent my defective pair back. After waiting week to receive these, I can't wear them, and now I have to wait weeks more, before being able to get some new glasses. Not customer-friendly. I won't be ordering from Zenni again, and if you value a great customer experience, I'd encourage you to look elsewhere for your eyewear needs.

    I've had glasses all my life. My mom was a single mom and would struggle trying to afford the frames and prescriptions. Then my husband introduced Zenni to me and their prices are amazing. The website navigation was very easy to maneuver and I really liked the try-it-on feature. I ended up getting a cheaper frame which was like $15. After the first pair came, it was very clear. I've had it for four years so the quality's great.

    The only thing that I would suggest is to pick a few out of the prescription lenses even if it's not the actual ones and send those to customers so they can try them on then have a stick on and send it back. Zennie should pay for it just so customers can get a better feel of what they want because trying those on in person is much different than the try-it-on feature. I wanted these glasses to look great on everyone else like the Wayfarer look but I could not pull it off. I thought that I have to see myself in person and it didn't work. However, everything was absolutely fine with Zenni. I recommended it to my mom and she bought two pairs through them.

    I am very happy that Zenni exists. My experience this time is a little down-graded because of a few things.

    1) Too many people involved with followup. They did NOT read info correctly and made the followup to my order confusing and more complicated.

    2) Zenni has changed policies in regards to ordering sunglass tinting. I can no longer get the basic sunglasses that I have previously ordered, so that bumps the cost up significantly. Some may argue that it's still very reasonable compared to other sources for eyeglasses/Rx sunglasses. From the perspective of a senior citizen living on an extremely small social security budget with no eye-care insurance, the increase is very significant. Enough to send me to another source for my bifocal sunglasses. Unfortunately that makes ordering a more complicated. And frankly, the end product is just a little less in quality compared to my Zennis... :-(

    3) The choices in the lesser priced frames seems to have diminished. I keep looking for more rectangle shaped black and colorful frames in larger sizes, but they aren't there.

    4) What happened to the feature of uploading MY image to see what I look like in a frame? This is not a deal-breaker for me, but it sure made things easier!!!

    Seniors and their circumstances may not be the bulk of your market, but I'm betting that if more knew about Zenni that would certainly change. I tell people regularly that there is NO reason to pay the ridiculous prices that most optometry offices demand for their products!!! Hopefully, this information will be perceived as helpful because that is my intention. Have a terrific day!!!

Insofar as one of your pairs of glasses from this order, in frame 2018739, has a bifocal prescription with a +1.50 reading addition correction, and one of your pairs of single-vision reading glasses, in frame 263031, which you advise is for computer vision, shows that it has been reconfigured to put the entire ADD in the Spheres, in combination with the -0.25 Spherical correction for both eyes, without lowering the dual pupillary distance (PD) of 32 / 31.5, the way it is customarily done for single vision reading glasses, it was incumbent upon us to determine your use for these glasses, to ascertain whether the PD should be lowered for single-vision reading glasses. Consequently, our representatives contacted you about this matter to confirm the correct prescription and PD, and we are also sorry if this interaction felt annoying. In addition, we want to advise that, for the 1.50 bifocal lens for $17.00, we removed the tint option because of the feedback we received from many customers about the ineffectiveness of this tint on this bifocal lens.     Updated on 6/26/2019: I ordered glasses with mid-range progressive lenses. Zenni sent me glasses with near-range lenses (near-range glasses are basically only good for reading). I sent the glasses back to Zenni to be fixed. Zenni inspected that glasses confirmed that the lenses were incorrectly made - they were "out of tolerances". Zenni remade the glasses and sent them back to me. I received the remade glasses yesterday. Once again, the lenses I received are near-range - not what I ordered and not what I need. The entire process has taken almost 2 months and I still have not received what I ordered. Zenni has got it wrong twice. Not sure if I want to try a third time and wait another 4-5 weeks.

    Original Review: I ordered 2 pairs of glasses. The single vision long distance glasses arrived as ordered, However, the medium vision progressive lenses that I ordered came as short distance. Shipping glasses to back Zenni for fixing cost me $20. Per Zenni's return policy, I will only receive $2.50 refund for the shipping. So, I will end up spending $17.50 to fix Zenni's mistake. Doesn't seem fair. Is it even possible to ship glasses anywhere for $2.50?

    I think I researched enough to place my first online order of progressive prescription glasses with Zenni. They actually arrived earlier than I anticipated. I had my frames adjusted by a local optician because they were not sitting right. So far I have used my new glasses for 3 weeks. They feel comfortable. I see distance objects quite well. From the time I received it till now, I am having a very difficult time trying to read books with it even though I follow the instructions. I have never experienced reading difficulties with my previous 8 pairs of progressive lenses. So far it’s been frustrating reading my books. I do not know what else I can do. I think these progressive lenses are poor for reading.

    Zenni was something different and it seemed a little bit more affordable at the time ‘cause I don’t have the extra frame insurance ‘cause I was just changing job. So, it looked like something to try and I've been really impressed with them. They’ve done pretty well. I got a full rim, stainless steel ones and for what I got, I'm really happy with them. They did a pretty good job for somebody who’s never really looked at different frames. They had a pretty easy step-by-step guide to order the right one. I've seen about them and everybody was saying it's a really good service. I've ordered twice so far and I ended up going with something called the browline. I got full rim glasses. Since you confirmed with a copy of the prescription that you entered the prescription values correctly, we believe that the issue may be with the self-measured pupillary distance (PD), since this value is not on the prescription, and focusing issues frequently are a result of an incorrect PD. We are sorry that we did not address your Special Instructions note about the reading addition correction (ADD) on your prescription of +2.50. This would be included if you wanted to get multi-focal glasses, such as bifocals or progressives. We did ask what you type of usage these glasses were intended for, and you mentioned distance, such as using the glasses for watching TV, everyday activities, and driving. We took that to mean that you wanted single-vision distance glasses, rather than bifocals or progressives. You are within the 30-day warranty period on this purchase, which begins the day the glasses are delivered, so we are emailing you instructions to return these glasses for an inspection, and we are also emailing you a prepaid shipping label you may use for return postage. When we receive the glasses, we will inspect them to determine whether we made them correctly according to the prescription and PD you entered.     I’ve ordered about five pairs of wonderful glasses from Zenni Optical. This time was full-rim and last time, what I got was half-rim. Before Zenni, I went to America’s Best to get some glasses with my insurance from my employer and they were the worst glasses in the world. I couldn't even breathe on those glasses with no smudge. Then for no reason, they scratched so bad it was giving me headaches on the right side of my head. Zenni, on the other hand, are always good glasses. In fact, my wife is gonna order some from them soon too.

    I'm a geriatric care manager and the two pairs of eyeglasses that I bought were for an individual who is in a nursing home. She can't get out to the eye doctor but the eye doctor was kind enough to give me her prescription so we could get her new glasses. I ordered online and at first, I didn't know what all those numbers from the doctor meant but my daughter helped me out and she was able to help me order that first pair. After that, it was easy and my client liked the glasses so much that she asked me to do sunglasses as well. So it worked out great. I might even order some sunglasses myself.

    I will also use Zenni Optical again for that purpose. As long as the eye doctors cooperate, it's great for me and for my clients. The great thing too is that Zenni puts the names inside the temple. So if the glasses get lost in the nursing home, they're easily identified. Also, because the names are engraved in the glasses, if the nursing home or the assisted living staff loses them, the families have a recourse that the facility has to reimburse them.

    I just got my glasses in the mail which I was very excited for. There was scratches and bubbles in the rim. When I put them on it hurt to look through them.     I've heard of Zenni from friends and I've ordered glasses through them before. I do it once every three years. It's pretty easy buying from them. I like the part where you can take a picture of yourself and try glasses on. The glasses are really good. The last ones I got, the style was gorgeous and I love the frames. They were really cute. But I haven't heard back anything from Zenni regarding those glasses. I don’t know if they were just the wrong prescription. My headache was just getting too bad.

    Everything worked as expected. Except the high quality glasses have two problems: 1) the frame while looking good is uncomfortable, bothers my nose. I should have stuck to my plastic frames instead of this better looking metal frame. 2) There is something off about the adjustment of the lenses. The focus felt weird. Probably the measurement that I was expected to do myself of the distance between pupils or whatever. Quality of lenses is fantastic. But I couldn’t use these and went to local LensCrafters, paid full (more than 2x) to get these made again. They fit like a glove. I wish Zenni can get proper tie up with Opticians, so they can get full measurements directly instead of me trying to upload.

    I have ordered eyeglases from Zenni Optical for several years. Recently, I placed and ordered for 2 pairs of glasses at different times. I received my first pair of glasses and the handles fell off soon after. I returned them to Zenni as instructed and received another pair. However, the remake did not include photochromatic lens which I always wear.

    I placed another order for glasses to be maded from the same prescription. I received my glasses and neither pair have the photochromatic lens. I remember distinctively adding that feature to my first order because I don't wear clear lens. The software is not user friendly so I asked customer service staff to assist me with adding that and I was assisted. I believe the the first order was misread and was carried over to the second order and Zenni will not acknowledge it's their mistake. Please be aware of what you are doing with this company, they can be very shady and unwilling to make a bad situation right.

    I am very happy with the product in several keys areas. First off- the affordability of glasses from Zenni is hard to match. One unspoken requirement of my career and profession is to visually stand out from the crowd. I have always wanted to make cool eye-wear part of that beyond just some hip shades. Vision care through insurance providers being what it is, I could not afford more than one pair of glasses per year, and the idea of purchasing some really eye-catching specs seemed too frivolous to consider while my wife and I raise two children. This yearly rationing of spectacles had also nearly rendered prescription sunglasses to the realm of fantasy.

    Now I can easily purchase several pair at once, including sunglasses, in a huge variety of colors and styles. I feel like I can get some glasses for special occasions or even to match or contrast items from my wardrobe. So far I have only ordered plastic/acrylic frames, and they feel and fit as good as any expensive brand-name I have owned over 3 decades.

    The prescription was perfect. They offer different lense-thicknesses so get the the thinnest ones you can for free like I did, or splash down for the thinnest they offer at an up-charge. Certain frames can look better with really thin lenses, and I will pay the extra cost if I need to. With Zenni frames starting at $7 getting exactly what you want is still incredibly affordable. I can also say I like the Vegan Leather case. I have one in a light brown. The inner part is soft, the reinforced sides seem sturdy, and the outer surface feels nice to the touch. I like sleekness of the closure feature as well- it may fail over time, but at a cost of only $5, a replacement is easy to procure.

    My wife discovered Zenni, and was happy with her first purchase. I have ordered three times through the easy-to-understand/navigate website (even via the mobile version) and although I have had issues with order-confirmation/updates that seem like an easy IT fix, we are both quite pleased with the styles and quality on offer. I was impressed with the selection of tint and gradient, and I like the custom personalized-engraving options as well. They have several levels of shipping, so for an extra cost you can have them in a week’s time.

    Again, the affordability of the glasses mitigates the shipping costs if you need them fast. They also save your orders so re-ordering a particular pair would be a breeze. We will certainly order again for ourselves, and will likely order a few pair for teenage son as well. Overall, it’s an easy and affordable way to build a collection of cool and distinctive glasses. Eye-catching indeed!

    My glass prescription at the eye doctor was gonna be 600, which was nuts, so I thought I’d give Zenni a shot. I went with glasses that had the dark on top and mellow around the bottom. Now, I’ve ordered quite a few glasses from them for the prescriptions and different types, and only one pair out of all of them broke. I’ve ordered five pairs and my husband’s on his second pair.     I get multiple pairs of glasses for style. I found Zenni a couple of years ago and I like it a lot. I get a lot of compliment on my glasses. Their customer service is all good. I wish the shipping would've been quicker, but I understand. However, I think it's ridiculous that I pay so much for shipping. It was 30 bucks to get it within a week, and that was dumb. But I needed glasses so I just dealt with it. It's pretty affordable and they're good pairs of glasses, so I'm thankful.

    I have been looking at Zenni for a few years and contemplating if I should purchase from them or not. I decided in November of 2018 to go for it. I hated spending hundreds on glasses every year, I was nice to have a good selection at a great price. I ordered a clear pair for nearsightedness and they came in fairly quick. As soon as I put them on I realized that the prescription was wrong. I called and told them the issue (customer service is awful) and they said I needed to mail them back before I could get a refund. I lost my shipping charges, but still corrected the prescription on file and ordered another pair. Paid $20 shipping to get them quick. They came in. Wrong prescription.

    I called again, and was told, "Too bad". If I wanted help I needed to pay for shipping to send them back and have them evaluated. At this point I was already in over $100 and didn’t have glasses I could see out of. I wasted all that money. I just went to LensCrafters and paid $300 for a pair I can actually see out of. I’ll never order another anything from them. I’d rather pay more and have things be done right. Don’t waste your money!!

    I just received my first order of eyeglasses from Zenni Optical and I'm very happy with them. I got two pair of multi-focal (progressive) lens glasses for $50.00 each plus shipping. I was very careful about taking the measurements of my PD and the glass frames according to the instructions on their website. They're so inexpensive that I figured if I made a mistake I could throw them away, place a new order, and still pay only a fraction of the normal, exorbitant price I usually spend on glasses. But, apparently I did a good job of measuring so I don't have to re-order. Things I particularly like about Zenni: They allow you to choose the density of the lenses (the price adjusts accordingly) and you can specify the type of multi-focal lens you want - the complete range of distance from up close to far away, or just the up close to mid-distance range - for computer use. I'll probably order a pair that I will just keep next to my computer.

Both have already turned a light yellow so I’m very skeptical to even think they are the right prescription and are safe for my eyes.     A pair of glasses at my local eye doctor is $750 and it was a prohibiting factor heading into my days of needing a bifocal. A friend told me about Zenni and for what I needed the glasses for, they were a perfect solution for me. I went to their online webpage to do my first order. A pair of glasses costs less than $100 and I loved the price. The ability to use the “try on” feature on the website to get a better idea of the what the frames would look like on was an added bonus. There were lots of options for me to try, and I spent quite a bit of time evaluating which one would work better for me (the size, and my face shape, and what style of glasses I've had in the past).

    The one I ended up choosing worked out really well. I found frames I liked and since I liked them so much, we used that same frame with the two orders that I ended up changing. I purchased my very first pair this past winter and it was perfect from the get-go. I put them on, they fit and they were the right prescription. I saw clearly, then I decided to have LASIK, and everything changed for me in good ways and ways that I wasn’t expecting either after that. I don’t need a distance prescription anymore, which is good, but I'm trying to figure out the whole reading glasses thing, and I didn’t get it right the two times that I've tried now with Zenni.

    The first time, I didn’t understand the intermediate distance progressive option and I did not have any space on the lens that was for clear and for distance. That was my mistake and I sent those back and reordered a progressive that had the standard vision, so I had distance or clear on the top. It was a little small area for intermediate, and then progressive down to a reader at the bottom. I couldn’t make those work for myself either because there was so much dead space next to the intermediate area that wasn’t clear and it wasn’t reading for me. I'm gonna give this LASIK six months to settle down a bit and reevaluate. I was pleased with Zenni and I hope to try them again once I know what my prescription really should be.

I feel like I've been getting ripped off by purchasing glasses from my eye doctor for years, and spending $400-500 when my Zenni glasses have averaged $60. My Zenni eyeglasses are fashionable, light, and the prescription is perfect. Because they were so affordable, I can now order several more pairs and be able to change my eyeglasses out with different outfits. My 1st pair of eyeglasses took several weeks to come back, but my seconds pair came back within 2 weeks. I'm so thankful that someone referred Zenni to me!

    I’ve so far bought 3 pairs of glasses from Zenni, the first 2 were great, the 3rd pair is causing me nothing but problems since Zenni incorrectly made them. They refuse to acknowledge that they incorrectly made my lenses even after I had an optometrist check them, and now that I’ve returned them I’ve heard absolutely nothing from them. I’ve email customer service multiple times trying to check when I’ll get my refund and have yet to get a single response from them. Their customer service is horrible and non existent, especially Isaac who is nothing but rude and snarky. I’m definitely never buying from Zenni’s again After this experience.

    My husband has ordered from Zenni twice, and I’ve ordered three times. He first ordered and that was several years ago. It takes a while to go through all the frames, but then I try and narrow it down a little bit more if I’m looking for a specific color or style. The process is quick and easy, but trying to try the glasses on my face sometimes doesn’t work. I tried to do a picture and put it on my face, and that was not working. I couldn't get the right size. But overall, it’s a fairly easy process. I returned one pair because the color was really bad, and I didn’t like that. I have a really small face, so the second pair I got a few years ago ended up not being great. It was too big for my face, but I didn’t wanna send them back, so I kept them. However, I just ordered a pair of piano glasses, a single vision for the piano and computer, and I love them. They're amazing. For the price, I’m happy to only pay $100 as opposed to 900 for a pair of glasses.

    The glasses were the wrong prescription, I put them on and my vision was worse than when I don't have glasses or contacts in. When I complained I was told I would only be able to receive 50% of my refund. I have been wearing glasses and contact lenses since I was in third grade. My prescription I got from my doctor was correct, and I had heard good things about Zenni from a friend so I thought I'd give it a try and save myself the $300 I would spend at an optometrist office.     I don't know why Zenni has been getting bad reviews but I have them 5 stars. This is the first pair of glasses I've worn in 37 years as I've always used contacts. I had to get bifocals so I thought they'd be expensive but total with shipping and text it was only 26$! I can finally see without having reading glasses on top of my head all the time! Great quality materials and fast shipping. They're in California and I'm in Florida and I got them in less than a week! Amazing! Give them a chance.     We purchased a pair of glasses from this company and the prescription was completely off. I thought maybe my mistake and did the PD again. I guess it could be one mm less. Set them aside and kept trying to contact them. Chat was totally a joke. Sat there for 20+ minutes remaining 5th in cue, after 20+ minutes on phone call wait time no response! Would have to keep setting them aside as I needed to know this might be the problem before recording. Finally it was over the 30 days and ran across these stupid glasses again. Same routine. Sit in chat or hold on phone for no response.

    Finally emailed them to only get back an auto reply saying they were busy and would get back to me. Days later Sunny wrote me back saying too late to return even though it was because of their lack of customer service and if I had a problem with the PD I could call them (what a joke) and they would “read for me”. Like I couldn’t understand how to read? Seriously! This company is a joke! I had ordered a pair of glasses once before that the screws kept coming out. Their answer... They sent me a screw driver!! Why I gave them a second shot I don’t know but never again! There are a lot of sites out there now that you can purchase glasses from. Don’t waste your time or money on these people!!!

    When we originally ordered from Zenni Optical, we were thrilled. This was a couple of years ago, and since then we've ordered a total of five pairs of glasses. Great service, speedy delivery, quality glasses. Fast forward to this past weekend, and my experience was less than stellar. I painstakingly went thru the site, putting into the cart the two pairs of glasses for me and the two pairs for my son. It was no fast chore: it took about 45 minutes to find the glasses, enter in the prescription info, etc. for four pairs.

    So, okay, finally done, and I go to checkout. Entered in delivery info, billing info, payment info....and get a message saying "Sorry, we cannot process the card that you gave us at this time. Please use another card." Ok, so maybe I had a typo, right? Try again. Get the same thing. Try ONE more time before getting frustrated and giving up, reaching for MY bank card this time (before, it was my husband's). Went thru the whole dance again with entering in the info (by now, it's been a total of 65 minutes) and his card number. "Sorry, we cannot process the card that you gave us at this time..." Oy!!

    I clicked on "online chat" to talk to someone, thinking having it in writing would be a good thing. Well, it was a good thing because it prevented me from cussing out the woman in the other end, which I might have done had I been actually speaking to her on the phone. While I was chatting, a thought occurred to me to check the bank accounts.... You guessed it: BOTH checking accounts showed that the money was a pending transaction!! I'm like, "What? Excuse me? There's no order but you guys took money from my account???"

    She claimed that she saw nothing on her end regarding a card payment going through. I told her it was certainly taken out of my bank account. Then she tried to educate me on how pending doesn't mean actually gone through, that the money is still there. I told her that it may *technically* still be there but I don't have access to it. Not until the pending hold comes off of it. Our banks subtract the money right then...that's how they work.

    This was Sunday...and here it is Thursday. THURSDAY. A full 84 hours later, 96 if you include the hours on Sunday but because it was the weekend...you know. I still don't have my money back, my husband still doesn't have HIS money back (heck, it's OUR money, really)... We're out $364 until the hold is released. When does that happen?? Better yet, WHY did this happen in the first place?? Their ordering system is screwed up and needs to be fixed IMMEDIATELY. I barely got an apology (they said "sorry for the inconvenience..."). Not impressed, not gonna order. It's extremely unprofessional, unethical, and downright crappy to come across as not very concerned that your customer is out $364 for which they're not even getting a product. Zenni was great some years ago: now it seems they have different management and it sucks. Do better!!!

    Before I ordered, I called customer service to clarify some concerns I had. They were knowledgeable, friendly and re-assuring. I ordered top of the line lightweight, thin lenses that get dark outside and they are no line bifocals. The frame I is a lightweight titanium frame. It was difficult to decide on a lens shape and size without being able to do a real try on, although uploading my portrait for the virtual try on helped a little. Since I was not sure if I had ordered the right size, I was eagerly awaiting the glasses. I ordered 10 days ago, they arrived today. Beautiful titanium frame, very thin lenses, fashionable look, perfect fit. I can finally see well again.The price was less than 1/4th it would have cost at a regular store. I am truly happy with this purchase! My advice if you buy online: Know exactly what you need and want, make sure you measure everything exactly before you order and you will have a great experience with Zenni's.

    I ordered a pair of glasses from Zenni a few months ago and was very impressed! I found the order process simple, and had no issue with making sure all of my measurements were accurately recorded. I even received my glasses within 7 days of ordering, even though I had not selected expedited shipping. I love the frames and they fit perfect, but the issue I am now having is with the coloring tint of the glasses. I ordered the scratch resistant, UV, and blue light filter options with this pair of frames, and have now noticed that when I wear my glasses, everything has a greenish color look to them. I was so disappointed, especially while on vacation, because if I wanted to see the natural color of my surroundings, I had to take my glasses off, which semi defeated the purpose, as I couldn't clearly see. I want to order more glasses from Zenni, but am afraid I will have this same issue. I'm totally bummed!

We also want to provide some information we hope will be helpful. The anti-scratch resistance and 100 percent UV protection you mention come free with all Zenni Optical glasses, and they are clear. You selected our Blokz blue-blocking feature, which sometimes puts a slight yellow cast on the lenses, but no other color should be seen as a result of Blokz lenses. You also selected the premium oleophobic anti-reflective coating, which, like all anti-reflective coatings, will create green and sometimes purple reflections on the outside of the lenses, but you should not see a green cast or tint on the lenses when you are looking through them. We have a 30-day warranty period on most items with two exceptions: the photochromic feature, which you did not order, and which enables the lenses to turn dark in the bright sunlight and clear again when you are away from the sun, and the anti-reflective coating. These two items have a one-year warranty. Consequently, since we believe that what you are experiencing may be a result of an issue with the anti-reflective coating, if you can take a picture or pictures that show a green cast or tint viewable from the insides of the lenses, where you look through when you are wearing the glasses (not the outside of the lenses, which should have green reflections), please email this picture or these pictures to service@zennioptical.com, and please put your order number in the subject line of the email.     Decided to go through Zenni for ease of service. Paid extra for the polycarbonate scratch resistance lenses for my 5 yo and just after a few months they were scratched up way worse than any other pair he had previously had. He also uses cables to keep them snug on his face so they don’t fall off. Zenni said they only have a 30 day warranty and I should have ready the fine print and refused to provide and replacement or discount on a new pair. I had a year warranty with all his previous pairs from America's Best. Avoid this poor quality product and lousy warranty.

    I purchased these glasses in January, and up until about a month ago they have been fine. The earpiece fell off but I was able to reattach with the screws and washer that came with the order. That worked for a few days, then the glasses fell apart at the nosepiece. Again, I reattached with the screws sent with the package. All in all they have come apart either at the earpiece or the nosepiece a total of 5 times. I am out of the right size screws to correct again. I contacted Zenni and they told me there is nothing they can do except send me more screws because it's past the 30 day warranty. I'm VERY dissatisfied that they didn't offer to do more.

    Been shopping with Zenni for few years with no issues. My last experience was terrible. They sent the wrong sizes glasses and all I did was reorder my last pair that was on file. They didn't get back to me for a few days. And proceed to blame me for ordering the wrong size. They wanted me to return them before getting the new ones in. I explained I was going away for business and they kept telling me, "Sorry you have to return them first." I explained to them multiple times I can't see if I return them without the new ones.     Zenni Optical is reliable. There are so many choices out there, but with Zenni Optical, I know I'll get my shipment. The first time I ordered from Zenni Optical was for the price. Back then, I had a promo code. I've ordered seven times and ordering has been easy. And when I did a repeat order and had to change a shipping address, I contacted customer service and it was really easy. Their selection is decent, but I'd really like to see designer brands. My daughter really loves the aviator style. One time, she slept one pair. One pair she lost at a friend's house. My last three orders were for the exact same frames of glasses, just for her. We went to some places in town and she didn't like any of them, I just ordered from Zenni Optical. The price was right and it was what she wanted.

    Long story short, if you want to know if an online retailer cares about its customers, look at its return policy. Zenni's return policy is a sham, and they make the process just painful enough to discourage you from returning a product you're unhappy with. The blue light blocking glasses I ordered were way too big on my face, and seemed of questionable quality, so I decided to return them. There is no seamless way to do so. In order to get the "Return Authorization (RA) number" required to return something, you can only email or call. I called customer service and waited on hold for 15-20 minutes before speaking with a representative. On the call, he informed me that you can only get the RA number via email after the call (so what's the point in calling?).

    The worst part is, you only get a 50% refund on returns, excluding shipping (but 100% if you choose store credit - and neither the quality nor the customer service is good enough to warrant ordering a second pair). After paying for expedited shipping (because waiting their average of "10-14 business days" is laughable), they also expect you to pay to ship the glasses back. In this day and age, any retailer that sells exclusively online should offer free returns, exchanges, and shipping. Full refunds for online purchases are not a "customer exception," they are the rule. It is a standard of e-commerce and Zenni will lose business because every other retailer provides this courtesy to online customers.

    I'm a long-time satisfied Zenni customer, but unfortunately I had to return these Midrange progressives because the top intermediate range didn't seem to reach the 14-ft they were supposed to and the PD seemed off for closer-in computer work. I ordered these using a new prescription, so before writing this review and to verify the new Rx I ordered some single vision computer reading glasses. They seem fine, so I guess the midrange progressives just aren't right for me.

    The glasses were made incorrectly. They were ordered with a prism in the left lens, it was not there. I sent them back, they made them wrong again. I sent them back, they made them wrong again. They insisted they were made correctly. They refused further assistance. I had them tested at a local optometrist who verified they were made incorrectly. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I attached the printout of the results of the local optometrist. They still insisted they were made correctly. After a 2nd complaint they issued a partial refund claiming it was a full refund.

    I ordered prescription reading glasses from Zenni. They were not right, so I called CS. Zenni finally decided the CS rep gave me the wrong info, so I ordered another pair with the instructions given on the website, still not usable. Ordering the third pair, I had the CS rep tell me what to convert on my prescription to get reading glasses only. He walked me thru the entire thing and I read the prescription back to him to be absolutely sure. Just got the third pair and cannot see to read. I know that my prescription is correct because I had previously ordered a pair of readers from Payne and they came to me first time absolutely perfect. I don't think Zenni knows how to do reading glasses. I would never try them for bifocals. I like their choice of frames but they are useless if I cannot use them. I also have to wait a long time usually to get CS.

    ZENNI is the only place my wife and I have purchased our eyeglasses for over 10 years now. ZENNI has always been spot on as far as the prescription is concerned. A couple of areas where I think they could improve are offering more frames in a gold finish and allowing the selection of temple length. ZENNI has a "ONE TEMPLE LENGTH FITS ALL" policy which in my experience is troublesome. It is, after all, a properly fit temple length that keeps your glasses from sliding down your nose. Also, I could not choose the lens shape on the last pair of frame-less specs I ordered last month, which I consider another downfall. Other than that, I believe ZENNI does a great job for a reasonable price.

    Blue blocker glasses - My new glasses block the rays that were preventing me from getting a good nights sleep. For that, I am very happy.     I ordered from Zenni 2/7/19. I received my glasses the first week of March. I returned them on 3/7/19. My prescription came from the doctor's office, Including the PD measured by them, so the prescription is completely accurate. However, Zenni can’t seem to get the left lens in focus. It’s completely off & made me cross eyed. So I returned them.

    I received them back extremely fast, & was excited to try them on. Unfortunately THE SAME ISSUE was prominent. Zenni, do you have ANY quality control?! So here we are April 2, & I am returning them for a SECOND time. I have no faith in this company & they clearly don’t care about their sense of quality. To top it off, when I called to return them again I spoke to representative “Gabriel” who cut me off multiple times & literally just recited the same lame speech he gives everyone about returning. If you can’t made the damn glasses, YOU NEED TO ISSUE A FULL REFUND!! Honestly, DO NOT order here. You will 100% regret it.

    Ordered a pair of glasses with transition bifocals, took about 2 weeks to get them. The left lens was all jacked up. Couldn’t see out of it and the bifocals came up all the way to the middle of the lens. Had to tilt my head down to just walk. Love the frames, quality of lenses were awful. Sent them back. Has been over two weeks now. Called them to find out they’ve been getting inspected For four days. Really? A four day inspection. Wow! Maybe if they put four days into the production of my lenses they wouldn’t have to wait another four days to inspect my lenses. Then they still have to make new lenses and then send them back to me on the pony express or carrier pigeons.

    How is it possible for it to take so long to send something to California? I’d think that they’d want to put rush orders on the screwups to keep their customers happy. Now I’m supposed to wait a month and a half at least to get a pair of $85 glasses. Hmmmm.. Whether it’s a $50 pair glasses or a $750 pair glasses if you’re going to sell a product with your name behind it then make sure it’s good quality and good customer service.. Take care of your customers so they don’t have to write one star reviews. Maybe you guys should regroup And re-write your business plan. Sincerely, My prescription will be different by the time I get my glasses.

We also want to clarify that the glasses you ordered and received were not lined bifocals, which have a specifically delineated bifocal segment lens that provides near vision toward the bottom of the distance-vision lenses, but unlined progressive glasses, which provide distance, intermediate, and near vision with no line separating these three focal fields. In addition, since you refer to these glasses as transition bifocals, we want to advise that Transitions® lenses turn dark in the bright sunlight and become clear again out of the sun, and that you did not order this feature for these glasses. Moreover, to complete our inspection of the glasses, we need a copy of the prescription and pupillary distance (PD) values you entered. Unfortunately, the copy of the prescription we asked you to enclose with the glasses was not included, nor was there any confirmation how the PD was obtained – self-measurement, friend or family measurement, or eye doctor measurement. While the prescription you used for this order is similar to the prescription you used on your previous order, placed in February 2013, the PD you used this time, 70 millimeters, is considerably different from the PD you used on that order, 65 mm. If you were able to see well with the glasses from the 2013 order, and there are no notes in the database record of that order indicating otherwise, the PD you used this time might be the issue.     I ordered a pair of $9.99 frames, dark tint, bifocals about three weeks ago. Received them over the weekend and more than pleased. I was skeptical about ordering such an inexpensive frame, but I am very pleased with it, it easily matches a 200 frame. I had all the required measurements which were matched perfectly to my new current glasses, which cost me approximately 400. Wish I had ordered them from Zenni. Easy to enter all information, put in payment and wait for them to be sent. They arrived in short order in a lightweight plastic case with a cleaning cloth. I am ready to now order another pair.     Glasses not what I expected, lens too thick, didn't fit correctly. Also ordered presc. sun glasses which were absolute garbage. Was trying to be budget conscious. Didn't work. Cost me 50% restocking fee. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE EFFORT!! Yes, they're cheaper than your local eye glass retailer, but they are definitely CHEAP. Do not order unless you know exactly what you're getting unless you're willing to settle for less, or willing to lose the 50% fee. I ultimately had to let go of the 50% fee so this experiment actually cost me more than had I just purchased from the local retail shop.

    I have not had clear corrected vision since my cornea surgery 4 years ago and it always was a battle between the eye Doctor and the eyeglasses maker as to where the fault should be. I was so disgusted that I put up with less than great vision until now. I recently moved to Vermont and had my eyes checked by an MD who does not make or sell eyeglasses. When I told him I was considering Zenni he said "Absolutely not, with your prescription you need a high quality set of lenses manufactured to a high standard, period!". Based on my past "high quality and high standard" experience I decided not to take his advice and give Zenni a try albeit only for reading glasses at this point.

    I could not be happier with the glasses I received - they are high quality and must have been manufactured to high standards because I can see clearer to read than I have for many years. The price was phenomenal, the shipping was very fast and the help I received from Steven in Customer Service was huge. I look forward to ordering a pair of bifocals so I can get clear vision all the time. By the way - they will be ordered from Zenni!

    I ordered my progressive lenses expecting a great experience. That did not happen. The glasses came with the progression starting way too high up on the lens. I had to look down my nose just to see at long range. The progression ends with having to put the screen or book very close to my face to read it properly. Only when I called to get a replacement did I find out that they cannot customize where the progressive portion of the lens starts. So I have two choices: Get only a 50% refund or get a 100% credit for a product that doesn’t work for me. I don’t know how their regular lenses work. I just know I will never order from this company again.

    I have been buying Zenni glasses since my sister recommended them in 2012. I couldn't believe the prices. My first ever order I got 4 pairs of single vision prescription glasses, paid for the 2-day shipping and still spent less than half the price of my LensCrafters! And the quality is great. I think they even lasted longer than the $400 pair from LensCrafters! The site is awesome and easy to navigate. Being able to filter by material and shape is great.     So I received my glasses today. I can see fine, however as soon as I put them on I had an immediate severe headache, which I assume has something to do with the prisms in the glasses. After speaking with customer service I learned that they would need to inspect my glasses and decide whether to give me a full refund or 50% which could take up to 10 days just for the inspection not counting the shipping. Really unhappy at the moment!

    I ordered a pair of glasses through Zenni's website and wanted to return them. I spoke to a customer service representative, Alex, who kept interrupting me while I was trying to explain the issue. I asked to speak to his supervisor. He put me on a long hold then told me his supervisor "was not available to chat" but that his supervisor told him to go ahead and process my full refund. I not only wanted to speak to his supervisor to discuss the refund but to complain about Alex's customer service. The fact that his supervisor would not get on the phone tells me that this is a company that really does not care about keeping its customers or hearing any feedback. I told Alex this would be the last time I order through Zenni and his reply was, "Sure, up to you." Thanks Alex. I will be only be patronizing eyeglass companies who value me as a customer.

    I have purchased multiple pairs of glasses from Zenni Optical and all glasses but one pair had been great. As my first time, I thought I could try and adjust to my glasses but they kept falling. I had recently emailed a customer service rep about a replacement and was denied because it was out of the 30 day warranty. I tried to see if there is anything I could do to get a replacement for these because I still enjoyed them, they were uncomfortable. I even asked the supervisor and was told that nothing could be done. This is the last time I will purchase glasses from this company, especially if they are unable to help a customer with a simple exchange or replacement and it being their first time with any issue of their glasses.

    Even with eye care insurance, glasses were out of my budget when two of us needed glasses from our local eye doctor. Zenni came highly recommended from a friend and she said their prices were great. I loved their selection. When they came in, they looked great. Being my first pair of glasses, I didn’t know how long it would take me to adjust to them.

    After getting headaches day after day, I finally took them into my eye doctor to check them. Zenni didn’t get the axis correct and the doc believes that’s what’s causing my headaches. So, even though the price is great, it was a waste of money and now I don’t know if I can trust them to get it right. Which is a shame because I was looking forward to getting other styles since they are so affordable and I’ve only gotten compliments on the glasses since I started wearing them.

    I have been a customer with Zenni since 2014 and I generally don't have any issues. But my recent order for 3 pair of glasses was strange. I've ordered multiple pair at one time and used 2 different PDs based on the glasses. Pending the glasses, I have some wiggle room in how I want them to sit on my face. I placed my order on 3/10/19 and all went how it normally would go.

    As I placed my order, it did give me the option to change the PD if I needed to for an additional fee, I opted out. Especially since I have ordered 14 pair of glasses with the company and I know what fits me. I get an email the next morning asking if I am sure I know what I am ordering and asking if I want to make changes. This only irritates me because now my glasses were on a hold and though I placed the order on 3/10, they weren't taken off hold until 3/12. While my glasses came 3/21, I do believe that the email attempting to get me to change my PD for the additional cost and holding my order was unnecessary. If you provide that option while checking out, I don't think it makes sense to hold the order to try and have the customer change their mind.

    I have ordered 16 pairs of glasses with Zenni. My latest order was made on 2/12/19. I selected standard shipping (14-21 days) as I typically do. Today is 3/15/19 and I still have not received my order. I contacted their live chat on 3/6/19. 22 days after my order, I called and was told that my glasses had not shipped from their shipping office in California and that they would send them out that day. I was told I would receive a email with a tracking number. In fact I received an email on 2/15/19 stating that my glasses were being made to the highest quality and that a tracking number would be sent soon. Well I had to follow up to get my tracking number and the first time I got it was on 3/8/19.

    At this point I was only mildly frustrated. My glasses were slated to arrive on 3/9/19. Due to the USPS my package stated delivered however I never received it. I contacted Zenni and they told me that I would need to contact them in 2 days. After the two days I was told to wait till later the following day and that if I did not receive my glasses they would remake them. Well later that night I get an email stating that they were going to remake my glasses and send them priority mail this time. I requested that the glasses be sent express. Thanks to Zenni they offered to cover the charge for the shipping. They also refunded my original shipping cost of $5.

    Now here is the where the fun starts. I reached out to them to see if I could get UPS Express Plus shipping rather than going through USPS. I was told yes. I thought I had clearly communicated that I wanted the glasses by 3/17/19 at the latest. At the moment I have talked to more customer service representatives than I would care to count. I currently do not have a tracking number for glasses that were apparently already mailed out. I have no idea where my order is or when to expect it. My current account doesn’t even reflect that my order is being remade. It simply states that my original order is complete.

    The only correspondence I have for my record are the screenshots I took because every time I would request that the transcript be sent to my email it would never send. I miss the Zenni of old. This is not the customer “care” I would expect of a company that historically I have raved about. I have spent hundreds of dollars. At this point I just want all of this resolved but ultimately I want clear communication.

    I ordered a pair of glasses with them on 02/23 and I paid extra for faster shipping. I was fine with the wait time as I know how tedious it is to make glasses and on top of that multiple. However, when I received my package, it was very poorly shipped. It was in a flimsy envelope with the glasses inside of a small ziplock. There was also a broken blue plastic eye case which I think what the glasses were supposed to be inside of but they offered no protection at all. The glasses were in a small ziplock bag that was freely moving inside of the plastic envelope. I opened the small ziplock to my glasses and immediately noticed that the frames were broken due to the bad shipping. I quickly emailed and called the customer service number to alert them of this and was told that they would send a replacement frame to my home. It was said to arrive but since then I have not gotten any word from the company with the tracking information or anything of use.

    I ordered some optical sunglasses here are the positive aspect: Delivered in 16 days on a (21-28 days expected delivery). The glasses were good and the prescription seems perfect and matched the model. I am very happy about the glasses. Where I am unhappy is that the case and/or the cloth had a strong pungent and acrid smell, like rat urine. So I had to rinse the glasses to get rid of the smell, and I threw away the case. I contacted the Zenni team and they offered to send a new case and a cloth, which I accepted it will unfortunately take around the same amount of time as the order which will be a bit late... To conclude, the glasses are good, the case was bad, Zenni agreed to replace the case.

    Been a customer of Zenni’s for years. However, my last experience in trying to order glasses from you was pure nonsense. All my info is automatically filled in. This is what I encountered: Wrong address. Called Zenni’s. The gal told me that I was putting it in wrong… "No," I said, "It goes in automatically for years.” “Oh,” she said. Told me to call back the next day and things might be better. I thought to myself, You’re kidding me. Nope she wasn’t…had no idea how to help. So, I saw no other option but to “lie.”

    Used another name and filled all the info myself and at check out I got “return to cart”. I would re-check over and over. I do know where I live and my phone number…However Zenni’s knew better. I would fill in United States, I would go back and it would read Canada. I would remove Canada and when I went back it was Mexico. This was with everything that I filled out. After 45 minutes I finally saw a light at the end of the tunnel. I am a paralegal and know how to fill out forms especially one from Zenni’s. Please, make your order form much more user friendly. Also, this is the important one. Train your customer service to be knowledgeable about the product so they can properly help customers.

Underneath this, you will see three categories: My Orders, My Payment Methods, and My Address Book. When you click My Address Book, you will see the shipping addresses you have saved. If you see any shipping addresses that are currently invalid, to the right of the address you will see two options: edit and remove. If you want to delete an address, click remove.     Zenni gets credit for price point on their glasses. However, I scratched a lens (even with their anti-scratch coating). It scratched too easily. I then tried to buy a replacement lens. They do not sell replacement lenses according to their customer service dept. I would have to buy the entire glasses again. Mine are only 90 days old. It's a bit of a let down from an otherwise good purchase experience.

    So I ordered 4 pair of glasses with Zenni. I really wanted to try a couple different options since this is the first year for Bifocals. I also wanted to try some transitions since I live in Sunny Arizona. I was definitely excited that I bought 4 pair for what it costs for 1. I paid extra to have it rushed since I am going on vacation and would like to have some options. They have been sitting in Manufactured status for several days. I chatted with them today. They have no idea when they will be sent out and will have to get back to me within 24 hours. The response received is that I will not get them on time. They are refunding me my shipping, but this is because I reached out to them. Now I see that they shut down for maintenance in March. Super cool! My wife ordered from EyeBuyDirect a couple days after me... Sadly she's rocking out new glasses on our trip.

Moreover, we would like to provide some information we hope will be helpful. Around the beginning of February (not March) each year, our lab is closed briefly for annual maintenance. We regret that this causes a backlog of orders, some of which are not delivered within the seven-10-day delivery time promise for Express shipping. However, today is the seventh day after your order was placed, and we hope that you receive your order within the delivery time promise, seven to 10 days after the order is placed, and before you leave for vacation. However, if your glasses are not delivered by Tuesday, March 11, the 10th day after you placed the order, they would be considered late. Regardless, even though they are not yet late, we are pleased to know that our customer service representative today advised that we will refund the Express shipping fee of $18.95 you incurred as a measure of apology, and that they offered you a promo code to use on your next order, as a further measure of apology and an expression of gratitude for your business.     I placed my order for two pair of glasses on 2/26. They have now been in Manufacturing since 3/1! I know it said 14-21 days but I thought it would go faster I guess. I know now to just pay extra for the faster shipping in the future.

    I ordered from Zenni using my current prescription. I did not have my pupillary distance value on my RX so I had my wife measure my monocular pupillary distance using the downloadable ruler from Zenni and it seems she did a very good job as I can see excellent through these progressive multifocal lenses. I ordered a cheap pair of frames for 9.95 and the lenses were like 25 bucks so for less than 35 bucks I have a pair of glasses that work just as well as my designer glasses that I received from my local eye Doctor.

    After I received my first pair I started ordering more pairs. There is no better deal in eyesight. Just make sure you correctly enter your RX and add the pupillary distance measurements. Most RX do not contain the pupillary distance measurement so you may have to measure yourself but it is quite easy using the Zenni supplied ruler. I guess they exclude this measurement to deter people from spending less online. I have been wearing glasses for almost 40 years and I have never had a pair last 2 years no matter how much money I paid for them. I am going to buy a pair every few months at these cheap prices.
