I have always been mostly pleased with my Zennis over the years and once again I am happy with these frames. They are lightweight, comfortable and stylish. I enjoy the clip on sunglasses that are cut to my frame. And I think the blokz lens significantly reduces eye tiredness. My only problem this time was, I ordered glasses with a slightly different pd so I have to adjust my head to get the correct section in my progressive. (I'm not sure I'm explaining correctly. My pd is 61, the frames say a pd range of 63-79... I missed that detail when I ordered :) My brain has mostly adjusted and it was my error anyway. I hope this helps! Thank you!

With Zenni, I like the ability to view what the glasses look like on an image of myself. I bought from them for the first time and the online ordering process was easier than I thought it was gonna be so that was great. I chose my glasses because of its durability and appearance. They're great. They work just as they are supposed to. When I submitted my subscription, I had two different glasses with two different prescriptions 'cause I have a near and a far. They caught that, and they wanted to make sure that's what I really wanted. Also, my prescription lacked some information. I was able to go back to my optometrist and get it. I brought it back and separated the two different prescriptions out so that I could get what I really wanted which were glasses for reading and glasses for driving.

The glasses are great. My prescription works beautifully & they are affordable. But the customer service this time was lacking. My original glasses broke. My fault. I reordered the same frames/prescription. I paid to have them expedited. I don’t know why but there was 1 problem after another from that point on. I called & the rep apologized & refunded the cost of expedited shipping. I was keeping track of the progress via the tracking number. I sent a message via Facebook messenger 6/7/19 asking why my glasses were being held in a UPS facility & I was told to contact UPS. I get it. But I feel like at that point Zenni should have found out what was going on. Which is how I responded to the Facebook message returned by Zenni. That was on 6/7/19. Today is 6/27/19. Thankfully I have my glasses now so I can drive & work. But they never even looked at my remark let alone bothered to respond.

We want to confirm that when the glasses leave our lab and are shipped to you, we do not contact the carrier, in this case, UPS. If you never receive the glasses after a reasonable waiting period, we can submit a claim to the mail carrier and remake the glasses for you for free. We see on the UPS website that they delivered the glasses to you on June 10, 2019, the 13th day after the order was placed, so it is good to know that we refunded your $18.95 shipping fee, since we did not meet the seven-10-day delivery promise. Prescription was perfect. No complaints! Second paid of Zenni's! I have recommended this to a bunch of family and friends. The glasses looked the same as they did in all of the photos. Fit well. The frames are durable. Lenses came unscratched.

Zenni is the best thing that was ever invented in the history of the world. I’ve been with them for a long time. I've tried other things before going with Zenni. I also tried using insurance, where you get free glasses, but the glasses cost $700. I've paid $800 for a pair of glasses that didn't work. Everything else I’ve ever had sucked. But I liked all of my Zennis. They last close to a year. When you go to the optometrist, everything is for free. The lenses are $350, and everything ends up costing $800. All you gotta do is go to the eye doctor, and get your prescription mailed into Zenni. And that costs like $50. Any time I’ve ever not gone to Zenni, I haven’t been as happy as I have been when I’ve gone to Zenni. I’ve already recommended them to numerous friends.

Was not happy with my glasses. Love Zenni. Immediately went on to order different frames. Went on chat to tell someone what was going on. Iris was so helpful. I was very satisfied with what they did. Will always get my glasses from Zenni. They are the BEST.

Sent glasses back. They were not correct. Spoke to someone. Said we didn’t have to do anything. They were being remade. 2 weeks later checked on them. They had been put on hold waiting to hear from me. Not what I was told first time. Hopefully they are in their way now.

My niece told me about Zenni and it was so easy to order that I just stuck with them. I have been ordering from Zenni for about 10 years already. There was a learning curve when I first ordered from them, but it has been pretty easy now. I always buy rimless and then round, like John Lennon or Harry Potter-style glasses. I prefer rimless since it looks like I’m not wearing glasses. They show less, so I don’t have to look like a person in glasses. And then lots of times, they hardly show at all.
I’ve got my latest pair of glasses on the way. I had cataracts removed so my prescription changed and I had to throw away all my old glasses and get new ones. The selections at Zenni is amazing for the price. It is wonderful to be able to get a couple of pairs of glasses for $100 instead of one pair of glasses for $300. I have recommended Zenni to many people. It takes a while for my orders to arrive, but it is not Zenni's fault. I live way out in the bush in Alaska and we're used to our mail being delayed because we live in the middle of nowhere.

Zenni has been great. I use it as often as I can. I had ordered from EyeBuyDirect before, so I decided I'd check out Zenni's site too. And I found that their frames were more updated than EyeBuy. So, I went with Zenni. I've purchased a good 10 to 12 pairs from them. It's adult glasses, and unfortunately, their prescription doesn’t change much, but I have a 13-year old daughter who needs prescription glasses every year or every six months depending upon how much her eyesight changes.
I had to contact their customer service a couple of times. The prescription was not inputted right and they were able to exchange my glasses with no penalties. One time, I ordered glasses and they were lost in the mail, and they refunded me. So, the customer service is great. The quality of the glasses is outstanding, the presentation is beautiful, the glasses are well-made, and I have no complaints about Zenni. I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

I have placed 2 orders with Zenni: 7 pairs of glasses and 2 pairs of prescription sunglasses and I LOVE ALL OF THEM! I have 0 complaints! I placed my order 2 yrs ago and when I went and had my latest eye exam I learned that my 1st ever pair of progressive multi focal lenses we actually single vision. I watched them check the lens multiple times because I couldn’t believe Zenni would make this mistake. Because of some other vision issues I hadn’t really thought anything of my inability to read with my glasses on. I just assumed it was my other issue causing the problem not the lack of multi focal. As I said this was my first pair so I did not know what to expect. When I returned home from that appointment I called and talked with a supervisor by the name of Israel. This man was very friendly had great customer service skills and said they would just simply credit me the cost of the progressive lens on my next order since I had already paid for them but did not receive them.
The instructions I were given was to place my next order and immediately called to have the credit placed on my account. Israel told me he would clearly notate the account for this to happen. For financial reasons my ability to order my next pair of glasses was postponed for six months. During this time I discovered they offered a lens with blue block. This is something I need since I work on the computer all the time. When I called this evening to see what the cost difference would be between the credit I was to receive and the new lens type I was informed by a very rude customer service agent that I was well outside of my warranty period and that he could not find the note I was told would be entered making this transaction happen. I had to ask more than one time to be transferred to a supervisor which was when I ended up speaking to Eduardo.
Eduardo proceeded to make up information that was not entered into the note from Israel and when confronted with that information backtracked multiple times then saying it was policy that I send my glasses back to them to have them inspected before they would credit my account. He claimed that I was told this by Israel which was not the truth. This man’s customer service skills were all around horrible. I asked to speak with Israel and was told he was not available and then he started talking about having to find this person and that he didn’t know how to do that so he would have to email the back office team. I asked him to email me the note that Israel posted to my acct and this is when he backtracked.
He claimed that I was told this by Israel which was not the truth. Israel also gave me a code for free shipping which has never worked and magically Eduardo could see that note in the account. After my experience tonight I question whether or not I can trust anything this company says. I understand my order is old but it doesn’t change the fact that the lenses provided were the ones they offered for free and I paid for them. I wasn’t asking for anything I hadn’t already paid for. I was offered what I believe to be a fair deal by Israel only to have Eduardo and the very rude customer service agent undo that deal.
While $30 isn’t a lot of money for many people for me at this point it’s quite a bit and then there’s the principle behind it. I was told that Israel would call me back in 24-48 hours. Truthfulness and integrity are some things that build a company up and when their agents act with complete disregard for these things it makes customers shy away and tell others about their bad experience. It is my hope that this problem can be resolved and the original deal that is real offered me will be honored. If not I will take my business elsewhere and make sure others know of my experience.

We are sorry to learn that you are unsatisfied with these glasses, and we apologize for any dismay you experienced as a result. Our warranty period is 30 days from the date you receive the glasses. You first contacted us about this matter in December 2018, two years past the end of the warranty period. Nevertheless, because we want to confirm the lens type in these glasses, we are willing to accept them back for an inspection. We are emailing you instructions to return these glasses for an inspection, and we are also emailing you a prepaid shipping label you may use for return postage. When we have received and inspected these glasses, we will email you the inspection results. Meanwhile, here is a simple test you can perform, which will determine whether the lenses are progressive or single-vision. Hold the glasses about a foot in front of you. Point the glasses at an object with a straight horizontal line – such as a bookcase shelf, the top of a TV, or a table. Slowly move the glasses up and down, keeping the object with the straight horizontal line visible through the lenses of the eyeglasses. If you see that the straight line of the object becomes a bell curve-type line as you look through the lenses held away from your face, this confirms that the lenses are progressive. They may not have been made correctly according to your prescription, and we are sorry if this is the case, but if you see the line appear like that of a bell curve or a hill, they are progressive lenses. Since you advise that you were promised a discount that you did not receive, we are offering you an item that we hope you will use on your next order with Zenni Optical. Moreover, we look forward to receiving these glasses and inspecting them, and we trust that this and the emailed item will resolve this matter to your satisfaction.

I was weary trying an online optical store as I was a former employee of a popular optometry business. It was very easy to use, wide selection of frames for style and fit, and good selection in lenses. The Zenni frame fit helped a lot in my final decision. It was very affordable, so I bought 2 cat-eye styles and polycarbonate lenses with the best AR treatment. They arrived in time and the lenses were great quality. I was very happy with my purchase and do plan on buying more.

I'm overall very happy with the frame and the lenses that I received. There are however a few minor issues. The clip-on sunglasses didn't have any picture on the website, so I imagined to be magnetic. They're not magnetic, and they didn't damages to the frame the first time I put them on. I called and a new frame was sent out to me again. I ordered a wide frame for my need. The front of the frame is pretty wide, however the legs are really tight and not wide enough which cause discomfort when wearing.

My eyeglasses came in with comfortable, attractive frames and lenses for a reasonable price. Our experience with Zenni has been good. They are responsive and provide a good inventory of frames and options to choose from. We had one pair, out of 5+ orders, come in to scratch easily, and we chose a credit to our Zenni account, and returned those glasses. Otherwise, I also have received compliments on my eyeglasses gotten from Zenni.

I have purchased two pairs of glasses through Zenni. I was happily surprised at the quality of the lenses. They were actually better than the lenses from the optician. My total price from Zenni was about one fourth the price of my past glasses. After insurance. I especially like how I can shop for frames in the exact size I need. The pricing is all upfront. Now I don’t pick frames off a wall with no price tags. I have recommended Zenni and two people have ordered and loved them.

I've ordered several pairs of glasses over the last 4 years with Zenni, and have had good experience 90% of the time. There were a few times when the lenses weren't quite right, but they cheerfully refunded my money. The wait time has gotten better over the last year. It seems like I get them faster. Overall, for the price I end up paying, they're great!

Fair trade is my description of my experience. I lost a pair of 'cheap' glasses $208.00 with no extras, and placed my first order, for two pair, under $140.00. Because I could afford what I really need, my vision has improved, and my experiences in the world like basic shopping and driving are comfortable without changing glasses repeatedly.

This is my second time ordering from Zenni. This time I ordered 3 pairs of glasses. My glasses were at my door within 2 weeks, the site had said to allow up to three weeks! The glasses each arrived with their own hard case and cleaning cloth. They are perfect. Love the quality of Zenni!

Ordered a pair of glasses which indicated 10% off of my next order. Approximately two weeks later, attempted to order another pair, but Zenni Customer Service informed me that they was not offering the discount. Did not order the glasses.

Was my first order to give it a try. Obviously no quality control over product leaving the factory. The glasses were packed well but bent when they arrived so had to happen upon or prior to packaging.

Therefore, we are asking our lab to send you a free replacement frame 654512, and to include with the frame a screwdriver tool, extra screws, and extra nose pads. I had a fall and my glasses got broken. I ordered a remake on Tues and had them by Sat. These glasses are every bit as good looking as one's I paid over 500 dollars for and they were only 40 and 18 for fast service. They have progressive uv protection anti-glare and scratch resistant. I am very happy with them and would recommend Zenni to anyone.

I wanted to return the pair of rimless transitions. I'm a new customer and had to experiment with what works and what doesn't. I find that ordering standard progressives from you is problematic without precise measurements that you would get at the storefront optical in-person. It took 2 pairs to realize this. I want to buy a ton of glasses from you. Mostly workspace progressives and distance transitions. Since I had used to store credit, I only got half refund. I understand that policy and why you need to have it, but it turns me off and I'll probably be going elsewhere. I think that's too bad. You should make exceptions to the policy when you hear what's going on with the customer who is new to progressives, transitions, and online purchasing of glasses. You'll end up losing money in the long-run if you don't change.

I have placed 2 orders with Zenni. Will not again. By the time you pay for all the things you need the price is not far off from retailers. Out of the first four glasses I ordered 2 did not have the correct prescription according to my ophthalmologist. So those glasses had to be pitched because sending them back cost so much. Zenni does not stand behind their glasses. The glasses are flimsy and cheap, but not in price. Don’t let those 6.95 and 9.95 prices fool you. The end price is much more. The second order I made took over a month to arrive. These glasses were a bit heavier, but still substandard. I do not recommend this company unless you have a very weak prescription because the price is excessive for the quality of the glasses.

I got so tired of going to optical places that said two pairs for $69, etc. and walking out with one pair for $200+. So crooked, so I had heard about Zenni and decided that it couldn’t be worse than these other places. Wow! At these prices I dare try different types of frames for me AND my teenage daughters. Even though it took me a little longer to decide what I wanted and to figure our pupillary distances, our prescriptions have been great and we have MANY more pairs of glasses so we can change around. I am mostly happy with Zenni, or I wouldn't buy! Usually quality is good; but I have had issues during the past 6 years. My reservation is: it's difficult if things go wrong. Return mail to USA is costly, and takes time. Zenni should have a LOCAL Australian "trusted" optometrist to check 'quality' and to check problems with lens when complained about; and whether complaints are justified. Returning items overseas is foolish and inefficient.

I've used Zenni since 2016. I'll be honest, ya girl hasn't been back to the optometrist since 2016 because vision insurance is expensive. BTW, are y'all thinking about providing prescription pop up services? You're based in San Francisco, so of course, the Bay Area being the tech guinea pig, that'd be pretty dope. Anyway, back to my review. My first order I ordered like three different kinds of glasses and I figured out that some pairs are too small for my head frame. But the cool thing about it was that you allowed me to return the pairs that didn't fit, hassle free and I was able to keep a store credit that allowed me to purchase a pair of glasses around the same size as the pair that did fit.
My only suggestion back then would be have been to make the face measuring instructions a bit more "user-friendly" <--- that's the word that came to mind. Other than that small suggestion, I'm happy with Zenni Optical, I did have a pair fall apart and the standard glass repair kit didn't work, but I wasn't feeling that pair anyway. I get compliments on my glasses all that time and I shout y'all out EVERY SINGLE TIME. That's about it, overall awesome job, I'll always be a customer. And I'll be home in the Bay Area next year, y'all hiring?

Zenni Optical had the style frame that I was looking for. This was my first order from them and it was very easy, simple and straightforward. But the time for it to ship out was a little longer than I anticipated. I can go to a local optometrist, pick out frames, and they can get lenses put on ready for me to take the same day. But with Zenni, it was pain-free. It came in a vertical case and I felt like I got what I paid for. The glasses don't feel like it's gonna break easily.

We have had 3 opportunities to order from Zenni and have felt like each time was a fantastic experience. Our first time we were in a bind as our son who needed his glasses broke them the day after Thanksgiving. We placed a rush order and made a ‘good enough fix’ and within a day the fix was destroyed. I reached out to Zenni customer service and they were able to add expedited shipping and bump him to the front of the manufacturing process. He had his glasses in about 4 days, over a holiday weekend. It was amazing! The other two contacts were as adults need glasses, both fairly standard orders and both timely and well made. I had made a first order of 8 pairs of glasses. Four were for reading and four were for distance. I initially made an error with the “PD” (pupil distance) for my reading glasses. I had forgotten that the PD is usually reduced by 3. A sharp Zenni technician however caught that and I was sent an email before the order was processed. I checked with my Optometrist and he confirmed that to be true. So, along with super prices and nice quality glasses, great customer service is also included! Keep up the good work!

After receiving my new glasses, I developed a headache from wearing them the very first hour. I took the Zenni glasses to my Ophthalmologist and they stated the prescription was wrong and not made correctly. I sent them back and after not hearing from Zenni for a month, I called them. They said I didn't include my PD. I pointed out the the number was indeed on my prescription. The next day I got an email stating that the prescription was correct on the Zenni glasses they made so no refund would be given but a store credit MINUS my shipping costs would be given to me. After 8 good pair of glasses and this happens. I'll never use Zenni again and will stop recommending them. I've read several other reviews with the same problem. VERY POOR EXPERIENCE!

My glasses are always right, but the one time they weren’t right, Zenni made them right, at no cost to me… Even though it was my fault. I can't review the glasses themselves because after 9 full business days my order still say processing. This in my opinion is unacceptable. Of course Zenni customer service is blaming me for the delay because the PD on the prescription was wrong but I did not receive a email till 5 full business day after the order questioning the PD value. This issue was resolved fairly quickly. When I contacted Zenni this morning I was told that one pair of glasses had been processed. Which means they have not started the second pair. That in turn means I will have to wait even longer to receive anything from them. If I could get my money back I would cancel the order completely. It's a sad thing to to say but go to Wal-Mart. You'll get your glasses sooner.

Not the most user friendly site. Can't find customer service, when I finally did, only until glasses in shopping cart can they see your order to answer your questions. When all is said and done, there was only one frame that was available, due to my progressive prescription. Wasted so much time. Twice the size of my current size. I have worn glasses since I was 13, and for most of my life this was a function of necessity. I wore glasses because I had to, and I wore whatever pair I was given without much thought to it. In my life, up until 2019, I have owned and worn a grand total of 6 pairs of glasses. Never prescription sunglasses, either. It always seemed like an unnecessary expense for something that I used but never gave much thought to. Then my colleague told me about Zenni Optical. At first I didn't believe her. After two decades of paying premium for my medically required glasses, how could some online place be so cheap? It had to be a scam, I thought. But I was WRONG. It turns out that I have been being scammed for YEARS.
Zenni was the first actual honest deal I've gotten on glasses in my whole life! I went from 6 pairs of glasses in 23 years to six pairs of glasses right now! I have prescription sunglasses, glasses for different styles and types, different shapes! I can coordinate my glasses with my outfits. I had to buy a case to hold them all! After ages of not thinking or caring about my glasses I am actually delighted when I get to pick out which one I plan to wear for the day. I have purchased from Zenni 3 times so far and I am planning to go for a fourth this month. I can't stop! I have become an evangelist for Zenni, telling everyone I know who needs glasses about them. Aviator prescription glasses. This was my 2nd pair of glasses I had ordered off of Zenni Optical. I was very pleased with the first pair but the 2nd pair I had ordered was extremely small frame and I was unaware that the sunglasses clip on was literally just tinted plastic and the clips were directly in my view.

On the next order you ordered frame 419019, which has a frame width of 140 mm, a very small difference. Although the price could not be beat, the quality sure could. I can't even wear them because they fog up and even though I ordered a protective finish on the lenses, I can't seem to get them clean. They just seem cloudy almost. I've never in all my years of wearing glasses ran into anything like this. I would love help in resolving this matter.

We were very sorry to read of this issue with these glasses, and we profusely apologize for the dissatisfaction you are experiencing as a result. We want to mention that the anti-reflective coating you selected for your lenses helps reduce reflections on the lenses, but it is not designed to prevent or resist fogging. We have an oleophobic (fingerprint-resistant) anti-reflection coating, but it too does not prevent or resist fogging; it simply reduces the smudging on the lenses from fingerprints and facial oils. You selected Blokz™ lenses, which have a blue-blocking feature that makes the lenses look iridescently smudged when you are looking at them, but they should be clear when you are looking through them. To keep the lenses of your glasses clean, we recommend moistening the microfiber cleaning cloth that was enclosed with the glasses with isopropyl alcohol, then use this alcohol-dipped cloth to clean the lenses. We hope that this recommendation is helpful.

I ordered two pairs, one silver ovals and the other round and purple. They're both functional glasses as good as ones I paid a lot more for at Lenscrafters or Cohen's Fashion Optical. The purple framed ones are particularly good, love the design and shape especially the fact that they have no nose pads so they fit comfortably and are easy to clean. Zenni's prices are incredible, I've ordered three pairs for a grand total of 1/8th what I spent on my last glasses order in 2014, and in the couple months since I made the purchase they've been just as good as far pricier brands that one has to trek to the store and endure a sales pitch to buy.

I had 2 bad experiences with ordering glasses from Zenni due to incorrect Rx to overtinted lenses. Each time I tried to correct I could never get the desired lenses in the shade/tint I wanted. I now have a set of glasses that I will probably wear very limitedly if at all. No more will I order anything from Zenni Optical again.

I like Zenni. They have some of the best variety of frame styles in the online arena. However, I don't understand why you can't get a full refund on unwanted frames, since they will be resold anyway once the lenses are popped out of them. Also, it's sad when you finally find a frame that works for you, but when your prescription changes you can't repurchase the same frame because it's been discontinued. So then you have to start the process all over again. Oh, and I also think it's unfair that you can't use store credits on sale items. I have bought at least 10 pairs of glasses from Zenni within the past few years. The store credit is not a gift from the Zenni. It is my money that I paid for glasses that did not work and I was unable to get that money back. I should be able to use it for any purchase.
So otherwise, I like your prices, number of style choices, number of materials available... Oh! One more very very important thing. Please bring back the option that allows you to say whether you wear your glasses high or low on your nose! This is very important! I wear my glasses low because of sinus issues. And therefore it's hard for me to use the bifocal part of my glasses because it's placed too low on the lens. Thanks!! Mc

I love having a pair of glasses to go with every color in my wardrobe. I couldn't possibly do that without Zenni's excellent pricing. I had an issue one time with a pair of glasses where the monofilament around the lens broke. I called tech support and they sent me replacements immediately and pointed me to the YouTube that showed step by step how to replace it! If I were to be critical in any way about buying glasses online, it would be to say that I always have to have them adjusted locally. And I wish that I could put my ideal frame specifications into your website search -- so that only glasses fitting those specs would show. I waste a lot of time having to open up the information on each individual pair of glasses to see if they are the right size and rejecting the majority of them.

I was surprised that these delicate glasses were packaged in a bubble wrap container and then put in a cheap plastic bag for a UPS shipment from China. It's incredible to me that they weren't shipped in a sturdy cardboard box, filled with bubble wrap. Lucky for me they arrived unbroken or smashed, despite the ragged condition of the plastic bag that held them. After all the work, expense, and delicate items being shipped, they should at the very least use cardboard boxes for these glasses. That's my only complaint on an otherwise good experience with Zenni Optical.

I am able to see longer distances better, clearer however I am no able to see close, can't read up close with my glasses. I expected to see both near and far so I am disappointed that I can not read with these 2 pairs I purchased.

I received more than 1 pair of glasses, 2 different far-sided and one pair of progressive lens. The ordering process was confusing, I spent a great deal of time working through it and obviously received 2 additional pair because of it. Not happy with this process. While the customer service on the phone was very good with one of the employees that I spoke with, I also had a negative experience with another employee. My product was good, the process and time that it took to get it right was not.

I've been on the hunt for quality glasses online to avoid having to pay optician prices. My cousin recommended Zenni and at first I was hesitant but after looking into the company many people have had pleasant experiences so I went ahead to view their selection. The whole process of selecting frames, figuring out fit, and ordering was easy and very user friendly even through mobile. What really solidified Zenni as the only place I will ever get glasses from is the quality of the frames and the price. The frames were all carefully packaged, fit my face without adjustment, and looked exactly like pictures and 3D try on. For 3 pairs of glasses I spent under $60! Given I did take advantage of a site wide discount but my total still would have been under the $100 mark.

Excellent quality and value. Hard to adjust though -- memory titanium doesn't like to move, except for the nosepieces. I like the frame design a lot, but they don't fit as tightly as I would like and I have not been successful at improving the tightness. The ear pieces seem to extend farther past the back of my ears than other glasses I have had -- that is, the ear pieces doesn't curve down behind the ears as I would have expected them to do. Because of the inflexibility of memory titanium, one is locked into the original design of the glasses. So everything is not perfect, but the glasses do work well, seem sturdy, and are an amazing value.

I cannot even begin to say how happy I am with my purchase. It was scary at first ordering something that was as specific as glasses. I was petrified I was going to get them and something not be right. But they ended up being perfect!! I will never order glasses anywhere ever again. I am just over the moon. Honestly, so far I have no complaints. Before I got my glasses I was nervous for the outcome, cause it was a brand new prescription and I've never ordered online for glasses before. But I am absolutely in love with my frames. They're super cute, the prescription is spot and I can see 100x better. I've been wearing glasses all my life. I've always purchased my glasses through my optometrists (same Dr. for the last 25 years) using insurance. My eyes are really bad with major astigmatisms and require multi-focal, progressive lenses. My out-of-pocket has always been $400-$500 and I've never been impressed with my overall vision. My last visit yielded almost the same prescription results and the new glasses were just... OK. My prescription sunglasses were very scratched and I needed new ones badly but could not afford them at this outrageous price. I was given a prescription card on my last visit to my optometrist that had all the information on it.
A member of a forum that I belong to mentioned Zenni Optical. I went to the site and picked the frames, coatings and features I wanted and plugged in all the numbers from my prescription card. I wasn't expecting much for $120. The glasses were delivered in about 7 business days. When I opened case and looked the glasses over, they were flawless. When I put them on, this old man teared up. My wife asked me what was wrong and I told her I couldn't believe my eyes, I haven't seen this clearly in decades.
From all distances everything is crystal clear, every leaf on a tree, street signs, bumper stickers, the depth of the clouds in the sky, computer screens, TV, books and magazines. What did Zenni do different than my optometrist? How come I can see like this for $120 and my $900 glasses (total price) don't compare? Perhaps it's just sheer luck and the frame and lens style work better with my astigmatisms? I've been missing a lot in the last 20 years and it saddens me. I will use Zenni for the rest of my days on this planet. All I can do is relate this story and give a heartfelt "Thank You" to Zenni Optical for bringing clear vision back into these old eyes.

I've been using Zenni for a couple of years now and have no complaints. You can see what the glasses will look like, price is excellent and they arrive quickly. My prescription isn't complicated, but I do get the transition lenses so I don't have to be bothered with carrying around prescription sunglasses. The order I placed with expedited shipment had the wrong PD and were returned for repair. Inspection was to take up 10 days and it has now been 15 days and still not inspected which would take less than a minute to measure PD which I already had done and verified. This is the second pair of glasses that I have purchased from Zenni which were both incorrectly made. The first pair, I just threw away, but was convinced by a consumer advocate to try them again. I phoned Zenni and I was informed that they would check into the delay which still hasn't happened. Happy...NO.

I own 4 different pairs of Zenni's and every single order has been smooth. Their product is very sturdy, stylish yet super affordable. The glasses almost always ship out within 10-12 days when I've selected standard shipping. The only place for improvement is the add-on selection. It can be a little confusing which options would be for sunglasses vs. reading glasses. It seems some options are mutually exclusive and that is not clear while making the selection sequentially. Hi, I love Zenni. I am a foster parent and supply eyeglasses for kids in my care, and even kids that have successfully returned home to their parents. Some of the kids we care for have never had glasses, some are teenagers, but many don't know how to care for them. They break them and lose them often. The warranty services at conventional optometrists do not work for us, and eventually, they stop helping us replace and fix their glasses. Zenni is the only way that I can keep these kids seeing. I currently supply glasses to three rowdy foster boys from ages 7 to 15. Two of them have left my home to return to live with their parents. When I find out that their glasses are broken or lost from their parents, I just order another pair from their record on Zenni.
The conventional eyeglasses monopoly and Medicaid insurance expectations of only one pair of glasses and one replacement every two years is ridiculous for low-income and stressed families to deal with. Once a pair of glasses is lost, the child will just not see, because the family does not have the wherewithal to get them new glasses. Zenni helps that. I have seen kids get glasses and suddenly change from a bad student to a good student overnight!

I love my Zenni glasses. What I also like about Zenni is the idea of being able to purchase the glasses direct and have it shipped to me at a lower cost. Everywhere I looked, it was more expensive. I also like the variety and the shopping experience is great. Being able to shop glasses for my kids, take picture of my kids and upload them and see what the glasses look like on them was awesome. I also get to have my kids' input. We look through what's availabel and I ask them what they like. Being able to purchase the glasses even in grades, clip-on shades and all the extras are great.
I've puchased too many times from Zenni because I figured that since the cost is low, my sons can lose them, which they do. Although the glasses might not cost much, the value is high. The cost to value ratio is definitely in favor of the consumer. All in all, I like doing business with Zenni and I look forward to continue because I need to buy some glasses for myself. I've also recommended several times.

I was real pleased with the darkening pair of glasses and regular blue bloc pair of glasses. The single vision pair are useless to me as I am near sighted and can see close. I need a pair of readers for when my contacts are in. The pair I received from Zenni are for close up vision but don’t work when I have my contacts in. I probably just didn’t understand what I was ordering.

It started as my mistake; I incorrectly ordered sunglasses instead of transition lenses. I realized my error upon receiving my glasses. When I contacted the agent he was very short and difficult to understand. I stated that I had a difficult time understanding him and he started speaking louder and copped an attitude. I feel that a compromise could have been suggested i.e. 20% off the next pair that I was going to order in the same style frame. Now the sunglasses are sent back and probably trashed. Possibly the frames could have been reused for my next order. Or again some kind of agreeable resolution. With a little tact and ingenuity I might have kept them.

Everything about the order process was great. Fit and finish are fine, however, I was required to adjust the nose pieces with pliers to fit me, but it worked fine. I have bought several pair of glasses from Zenni, maybe 30 pairs. My only complaint is that Zenni has stopped offering the blue photo lenses. I have definitely bought less glasses the last couple of years because of this. Please bring back the photosensitive colored lenses.

I bought a pair of glasses from them, droped on a carpet and lens fell out and chipped both sides, great deal but they shouldn't have broke that easy. I wouldn't get blue coating on glasses not good. These should come with a warranty if they break that easy.

I ordered progressives, but the my optometrist said they weren't progressives. I explained this to the Zenni Customer rep and he admit that they ignored the distance part of the prescription since I picked a Zenni "made up progressive" type. It's false advertising to say something is progressive when it's not. Seeking a refund. Asking for reasonableness. Zenni should explain it's not really progressive in their advertising.

I am thrilled with my Zenni glasses. For too many years I purchased from a mall-based company and got no answers as to why they just pushed the most expensive lenses on me. 4 years ago I put down $350 for my specs, two years ago the price was double. Now I'm on a fixed income and I projected that a new pair of glasses would be over $1200. I spent a lot of time considering purchasing glasses from an internet based company worrying that the prescription would be off. I finally decided to jump in and purchase my new pair through Zenni. I am so glad I did!
My new frames are lightweight and the prescription is perfect. If I were wearing glass lenses they'd be thick as a coke bottle so my eyes are very bad and I did worry, again, the glasses would be very expensive. I was shocked to learn that my pair would be less than $100! OMG! It took a little over 2 weeks to get them and I'm so glad I purchased from Zenni. Instant gratification isn't everything, I'll purchase from Zenni again and again. It's more than worth the wait.

I have grown weary of paying exorbitant prices for glasses at the usual retail sites and thought Zenni was worth a try. I was a bit concerned about getting the fit right but armed with the measurements from my existing frames I ordered glasses with progressive lens along with sunglasses with single vision polarized lens. Frames fit very nicely and prescription seems spot-on. My only regret is that I didn't select a frame style that allowed for progressive lenses in the sunglasses. I'm not getting any younger and the eyes on fish hooks aren't getting any larger. My experience with Zenni has been nothing but positive.

Zenni made it very easy to buy my glasses online. Every time I wasn’t quite sure of what to do there was a pop up answer available, like they knew it was something I might not know. There were so many styles to choose from and I liked the virtual try-on option. I love my new glasses and Zenni even taught me how to adjust them to fit just right. It was my first time to order eyeglasses online, so I was extremely skeptical that it would be of good quality. I ordered, and provided my complicated and powerful prescription, the website was very easy to use, I particularly liked the fitting guidance and also the way you can photo capture your own head to see the frames on your own face. The eyeglasses arrived to my house, and there was no duty import charged--so thankful for that. The price was very very good compared to what I can get locally and to be honest these are the best pair of glasses I have owned in 20 years of going local. I would highly recommend Zenni Optical. I've ordered 5 pairs of glasses from Zenni - I know, why order so many from an untrustworthy vendor. Well, I'm a glass half full guy and hate the entire process of getting glasses. I've gone the full gamut from private eye doctors to Costco and was never happy with any of them, mostly because of the hassle factor of repeat visits. Zenni seemed like the perfect solution, but it turned out it wasn't. Aside from no hassle, they have that part down, the final product is mostly unusable. The progressive lens don't focus on anything correctly, I need to be six inches from my computer to read it.
Even my driving glasses, tinted, are built for a range of a foot to further out, but they never look right at any distance. I've decided to stick to professionals even though it is a PITA. I probably should have sent these back, but was insulted by the "50%" refund credit. WTF? Instead, I threw all five pair in the trash and decided I'd dedicate the rest of my live to bashing Zenni to any and all. I've already convinced at least twenty people to not use the service.

I heard about Zenni 12 years ago and they were the first I've ever heard of online glasses. I've tried a variety of different styles with them being affordable. I don't wear my half rim ones as much but between full rim, plastic, metal and rimless, I have them all. The quality has been good and they immediately fixed the pair I had an issue with. I contacted customer service through email and it was extremely easy. They were transition lenses, and it was the transition piece that wasn't working. So, they sent out a whole brand-new pair and that was within a week. When I order glasses, it usually takes one or two weeks, which is quick. I have recommended Zenni to many people.

The glasses my family purchased on Zenni site are best quality and they cost 10% compared to the prices in my country. They also arrive fast and the package is perfect. I personally have 4 pairs, my husband 2 pairs and my son one pair. We just put our sight prescription details in our files on site, measured a fitting frame we had and the distance between pupils, chose a frame - and ordered! Zenni offers many combinations for quality and fashion, supports astigmatism and as far as I know - all sight problems.

These lenses are either so ineffective they do nothing whatsoever or are an outright fraud, I haven't decided which. I paid extra for them and got NOTHING in return for it. Zenni should be ashamed at selling such a poor and/or fraudulent product.

I had prescription glasses and lost them. I decided to use Zenni. My exam was 5 months old. I sent the information, got the glasses can not read anything. The glasses are way off. I sent them back, sent the prescription to them. I was told they were done correctly. How can that be? My eyes didn't change that much in three weeks. I can get better glasses at the Dollar Store. I would not recommend any Company that is clearly at fault and will not take any responsibility. Another junk Company that should go out of business.

Zenni provided all sorts of tips to be able to easily order glasses without trying them on in person. The try on tool is fantastic and I also like being able to search glasses by size. I usually have to get adult small which is often limited in shops. I also filtered my searches by frame shape after using Zenni's guides to know what shape frames go with my face shape. Overall, using Zenni was fairly easy, once I learned the online glasses culture, and saved me a lot of money on needed products.

I guess you get what you pay for or in my case less than you pay for! I ordered a pair of tinted progressive lenses to wear in the car. I had then for just under one year and when I put them on to drive home from work tonight it was like looking through Vaseline. It looks like the tinted coating on the lens melted. It wasn't hot today and I don't understand why they would all of a sudden self destruct. I've owned many sunglasses which I've always kept in the car and I've never had a pair melt before. I called Zenni customer service and was told by a disinterested customer service rep that it was my fault for leaving them in the car and that I should be more careful. I told him that maybe they shouldn't make their glasses out of such cheap materials. Needless to say they have lost my future business.

For this, I feel compelled to give at least two starts, although the order I received today is worth 1. I ordered two pairs of glasses with the exact same prescription as all previous orders. The right eye for both glasses was way off from what I had requested and clearly not what I wrote on my prescription (mind you, this was the same prescription I always use, so it was entered correctly). I believe this to be a manufacturing error made.
I contacted customer services and received a shipping label to send the glasses back, with the offer of a 100% store credit or 50% refund. I intend to choose the store credit as I would lose money through the refund for an error that was not my fault. I wish something else was offered because it’s not as though I am returning the glasses because I disliked them or made an error, I genuinely believe whomever worked on these lenses really botched the order.
I understand that people enter their prescription in wrong but this is not the case; all previous orders have the same prescription and look great. Before this I would have given Zenni at least 4 stars, but now I see that sometimes mistakes are made; which is fine, I just wish I could have this better rectified. The glasses arrived 8 days after the order was placed. This was odd since I chose standard shipping, but at I was not complaining. Who does not love fast shipping? Beats waiting 14-21 days, or so I thought.
I realize now that the reason they probably arrived so fast was that they were rushed and not properly checked before being sent out. I am stuck with a store credit offer at this point, but I wish I could receive a voucher for free shipping on my next order, or something to make up for having to go through the return process. Zenni is great and affordable. I just think there needs to be a better understanding be someone returning a pair of glasses versus returning a pair of glasses with manufacturing errors.

I bought these glasses for my husband thru Zenni, mainly because he doesn't wear glasses and now that he needs to I didn't want to spend a fortune to have him lose them. When they came, he complained he couldn't see with them and put them in a drawer. When he had his yearly checkup the Dr. checked prescription and they were opposite of what they were supposed to be. I contacted company and even though it had been longer they said to send them in. Once they received them they said they weren't their frames. I sent them a copy of the order, they said the temples had engraving not theirs, I told them they needed to do a better job inspecting, we did not replace the temples or anything else!! So to make a long story short, they sent them back, claiming they weren't theirs (they are), and did nothing about the screwed up lenses. I guess you get what you pay for but in this case we got zip!! BUYER BEWARE!

As we have advised on multiple occasions, the glasses about which you complained and which you sent to us are not Zenni Optical glasses. Our physical inspection of these glasses proves this. We have a record of one order placed by you, on March 22, 2017. You ordered frame 451312. This frame does not accept personalization on the temple arms, because there is a long acetate sleeve on the temple arms that precludes personalization. The glasses you sent back have personalization on one temple arm. In addition, the other temple arm has frame dimensions printed on it. Zenni does not and has never provided frames with frame dimensions on the temple arms. We are sorry for any confusion you experienced regarding the source of the glasses you sent to us and we returned to you. We hope that you are able to locate the glasses you ordered from Zenni, and if you are able to locate the glasses you ordered from us, we still will accept these glasses back for an inspection. We hope that this matter is now resolved to your satisfaction.

I'll start off by saying that the frames themselves are cute, comfortable, stylish, and seem extremely durable (more on that later). However, my overall experience with Zenni was very poor. During shipping the glasses went missing. It happens, I understand that. They made it to a distribution center 2 hours from me and just disappeared. I contacted customer support asking what would be done if they either did not arrive or arrived damaged. The glasses actually DID eventually show up before I got a response, which was just referring me to the tracking number. I know how to use a tracking number, that's how I knew they went missing! They did not answer any of my questions. (Perhaps other customer service techs are more thorough. Your mileage may vary).
The glasses had been shipped in only an envelope, it's a miracle they survived. The envelope was covered in foot prints (no joke) and the glasses case was broken. Somehow the glasses were still intact (see, very durable!). Now on to the glasses themselves. Like I said, cute frames. But when I put them on, I couldn't see. It's like I was seeing under water. The prescription information provided to Zenni (along with the PD) were accurate and current. I double and triple checked before submitting. I realize I could have sent them back to Zenni, but after the poor shipping and poor customer service, I just took them to my eye doctor.
The lenses were completely wrong! Strike three, Zenni! I wear a pretty simple, straight forward prescription, it should have been impossible to mess up (unless perhaps my order was confused with someone else's? I really don't know at this point). I had my eye doctor replace the lenses with lenses that were the correct prescription. I will not use Zenni again, and I will not recommend them. After all the positive reviews I read prior to ordering, I can't express how disappointed I am. Live and learn.

I have purchased at least a dozen pair of Zenni glasses. All have been very well made, look great and always to the right prescription and features. Especially love the magnetic clip-on sunglasses for the round frame style. More styles should feature the magnetic clip-ons.

This is my 3rd pair of Zenni glasses, plus I've ordered 2 pair of prescription sunglasses. I have been pleased with all my orders and get so many compliments. The glasses are delivered fast and are so affordable, and it seems like the options are almost endless! I like using the photo simulated try on tool, a great feature to virtually test the glasses before purchase. My only wish is they could create a coating for the lenses to reduce smudging!

I recieved glasses that weren't even the glasses that I ordered. The prescription was COMPLETELY different than what I sent in AND when trying to call the customer service # I never got through so I was ** out of my money and glasses. Smh straight RIP off... I had to go to America's Best Glasses to get a pair.

We found Zenni when our son was in kindergarten. That was 11 years ago now, he went through 8 pairs of glasses that year and if we would not have found this site the kid would have broke the bank! I read about Zenni in the Clark Howard newsletter a friend sent to me. I had just been to the optician for a new prescription and priced a pair of new glasses in their optical shop. The cost was to be over $700. I decided to give Zenni a try as I already knew what I wanted, but didn't want to pay such a high price. I got exactly what I wanted with Zenni at a fraction of the price. I liked them so much I ordered a pair of sunglasses. Again, another perfect pair. I highly recommend Zenni Optical.

Zenni Optical is the best. I’ve been dealing with them for years and always been satisfied with their service. Whenever I’ve had issues with an order, they've corrected it without any issues at all. Recently I ordered new glasses, but had submitted the wrong prescription. I was able to correct the prescription, return my order and receive a new, perfect pair. They’re the best.

I ordered Titanium rimless glasses and they are ok, the transition part doesn't get very dark but overall they are acceptable. I don't feel they are as good as ones directly from optical places but good value for the price.

First I love your glasses. Can’t beat the quality for the price but my fiancé ordered a brand new pair of glasses and got the clip on shades which I loved so I ordered two for my own not even three days later I noticed my fiancé’s brand new glasses are scraped where the metal rubs on the glasses and now my brand new pair of glasses are also scraped. I am very very upset about this. I wish you could figure a way for the clip ons not to scratch and ruin your glasses.

My sight is -3.5, -3.5 and I was afraid of how this would all turn out. I am very pleased with the results! I expected my order to arrive in maybe 2-3 weeks, and it shows up at my door in only a week! The glasses are beautiful and exactly as I’d hoped, and I can see perfectly out of them. They give me a nice break from my contacts late at night and when I just don’t feel like putting them in. Highly recommend to anyone who would like glasses at an amazing price!

Prescription progressive lenses. My order was placed with you on May 14th - all good and very happy client. I then received notification that the glasses would be shipped imminently - very excited. 2 weeks passed no glasses. I then contacted your chat line after tracking. My glasses had arrived in NZ on 27th May and used the tracking no. here ending in NZ. Sadly they do not have any record of that parcel arriving here, and the tracking no. is not valid. I spoke with NZ Post today and they are investigating this and will reply in 24 hours. So my question is if you have sent glasses and I have not received them what are my rights! I have found your chat line very helpful and would be interested in hearing from you.

As soon as I put on my glasses I knew I would have to return them. They gave me an instant headache. The prescription was from an optometrist, pupil distance was correct, but the vertical center of vision was much lower than it should've been. I would pay extra and wait a longer time if Zenni offered to ship the frames, have me mark the vertical center of vision, and then have me ship them back so they could make the lenses. Really a gamble when you buy glasses online. Luckily the return was easy, but only 50% back as is their policy.

The shipping experience was great. The glasses are super trendy and cute and most importantly affordable. Not too sure about durability but I only need glasses to see when I sit in the back of a class. I am a fan of Zenni’s glasses and will be buying from them in the future.

Zenni was cheaper than the other companies and they have a lot of variety. Also, the quality was good on the first pair I got. I've ordered four times now and it was easy. I just did it all online and my interactions with the reps were very good. Delivery was fast too. I like my glasses, including how the full rim looked. I've definitely recommended to some friends already.

I love the price and styles available. But I got the clip on for my frames and it scratched my lens and frames. I was told to send a picture of the damage. I sent a picture of it and asked what my options are. I was informed to ship it back to verify the scratch and if determined then new lenses will be made. No options given, no questions asked. I have one pair or glasses, I donate all my old ones and can't just ship it back for a maybe we might help you. I'm dealing with the scratch as it's at the edge. I will plan on doing business elsewhere in the future because of this. A flaw in the planning of the clip on shades scratching the lens and frames because of screw placement and then the lack of follow through really ruined my experience.
