What is Sprout Health?

Sprout Health is an online prescriber of weight loss medications. Currently, Sprout offers compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide injections that are shipped to patients monthly with no membership required.

Patients are able to get a prescription, schedule virtual appointments with a provider, send unlimited messages to their support team and request refills all from their patient portal.

Note that Sprout Health is a telehealth platform. It is not a pharmacy or drug manufacturer.

How does Sprout Health work?

To get a prescription for GLP-1s through Sprout Health, start by taking a short online quiz that asks your age, weight loss goals, medical history and current height and weight. After that, here’s how you’ll get your medication:

  1. Purchase your medication plan and submit a more detailed medical questionnaire.
  2. An assigned licensed clinician will review your questionnaire and prescribe the appropriate medication.
  3. Your prescription is sent to one of Sprout Health’s partner pharmacies and then shipped to you within three to seven business days.
  4. Start your medication and follow your treatment plan.
  5. If you have any questions, contact your licensed clinician through your medical portal on Sprout Health’s website.

Patients can choose to order medication on a month-by-month basis or a three-month supply upfront. Before your current prescription runs out, you can log in to your patient portal and complete a refill intake for the following month. Since there’s no contract, you can cancel at any time before your next shipment is processed.

Sprout Health weight loss program

The Sprout Health weight loss program consists of a telehealth evaluation with a licensed clinician, followed by medication if you’re approved. After completing an initial medical questionnaire, a clinician reviews your information and determines whether treatment is appropriate. Ongoing care is managed through required medical questionnaires for refills, with clinician review to assess progress, side effects and dosage adjustments.

Sprout Health weight loss medications

Sprout Health offers two types of weight loss medications: a compounded semaglutide injection and a tirzepatide injection. These medications support weight loss by increasing feelings of fullness and reducing appetite.

Sprout Health also offers a 3-month plan option that costs $650 for a three-month supply of tirzepatide and $515 for semaglutide. That price is for the first three months of medication and may increase after that.

I cannot believe when you Google top ten weight loss that is company actually made the list. If I could give this company negative stars, I would. The customer service is nonexistent, they do not answer phone calls or emails. I having been trying to reach them since March for a shipment that I was billed for and never received. I got one response back from Trina ** (Support) <help@joinsprouthealth.com over a month ago stating my report had been escalated to their team to review and have yet to hear anything back. I am so frustrating that I am out almost five hundred dollars for nothing! I just want the medicine that I paid for. Is that so hard.

First off fedex shipping is a joke. Both shipments that I got were delayed by 3 days from the original delivery date. Why bother putting a cold pack in there, especially when you live somewhere the average temp is 90 degrees for the past month. Secondly, I contacted the help center to cancel my subscription before my second shipment went out but it was too late as it was already under review. I've been on this program for seven weeks, doing injections, and have only 6 lbs. Definitely not worth the money.

Still waiting on my order, three weeks later. No one from customer support responds to emails or calls. Messaged doctor who responds but would not provide pharmacy info and refers back to customer support who does not answer.

I placed my order and paid over 1k to Sprout Health on May 7th. Today is May 23rd and I'm still showing no subscription on my account. They have replied with things like, I'm sorry and here's a $150 coupon for your next order, while I'm still trying to understand where my 1st order is. I've been told that the pharmacy is running low and that they are a separate entity, and yet, NO ONE has been able to give me an answer as to when I may receive either my order, or my refund. I'm not sure how to get a person on the phone since they don't answer or return calls and the emails are random and never give a straight answer. I would PREFER that they send my order, but if all they can do is give me my refund, that will have to suffice.

Whatever you do, never ever give this company your business. They do not respond to any customer service inquiries either by phone or email. It’s easy to sign up and my experience with shipments has been fine. BUT, you can never ever speak to a person, even to change your shipping address if you move! You can’t change it through their online interface (which is pretty awful). They will also charge you for your medication even before they notify you that it is time to fill out the medical questionnaire for that month. This company is a SCAM! Stay away. You will have to call your bank to block their future charges as the only way you can cancel ongoing payments!

Updated on 05/19/2026: The only way to get a response from customer service is to write a review and hope they respond. The customer service is nonexistent, they do not answer phone calls or emails. I finally received a response after writing a review, I was told my case has been escalated and will be followed closely until resolved. I have yet to been informed of a resolution, they will not return my inquiries. I want answers asap, I need my prescription or I need my $299 returned.

Original Review: Customer service is ridiculous- Fed Ex has mis-delivered my prescription twice now and in order to get a replacement for my $300 medication - Sprouts needs to follow up on the claim. SPROUTS WILL NOT ANSWER YOUR CALLS, RETURN YOUR CALLS, OR ANSWER YOUR EMAILS!

I received great, prompt service for 5 months. Today is 5/13 and I am still waiting on my 3/23 shipment! The status was “approved “ then “prescription sent to pharmacy” and then nothing for weeks! The order status now shows “awaiting Dr approval”. I’ve called, I’ve emailed and I’m not getting anywhere with them. Infuriating!

This company is a scam. Stole $600 from me. Never wrote a script, never sent medication. Customer service is non-existent. Telephone goes right to answering machine with no callbacks. Emails go unanswered. Filed claim with my credit card company.
