What is Sprout Health?
Sprout Health is an online prescriber of weight loss medications. Currently, the only medication available is a compounded semaglutide injection that’s shipped to patients monthly with no membership required.
Patients are able to get a prescription, schedule virtual appointments with a provider, send unlimited messages to their support team and request refills all from their patient portal.
How does Sprout Health work?
To get a prescription for GLP-1s through Sprout Health, start by taking a short online quiz that asks your age, weight loss goals, medical history and current height and weight. If you qualify for the medication, a licensed provider will prescribe a GLP-1 within 24 hours that can be shipped directly to your home.
Some patients may also be required to complete a virtual consultation with a health care provider before their prescription can be approved.
Patients can choose to order medication on a month-by-month basis or a three-month supply upfront. Before your current prescription runs out, you can log in to your patient portal and complete a refill intake for the following month. Since there’s no contract, you can cancel at any time before your next shipment is processed.

Sprout Health only offers one type of weight loss medication, a compounded semaglutide injection. The drug has been shown to reduce appetite, increase fullness and help patients lose up to 15% of their body weight.

Sprout Health offers its compounded semaglutide injection for $249 per month. However, we were also quoted a price of $615 for a three-month supply ($205 per month), but an upfront payment was required. The price includes:

I am disappointed in the customer service at Sprout Health. Their advertising does not resemble the reality. It took nearly 4 weeks to get my first delivery and customer support provides very little information. They advertise communication when medication is approved, notification when it ships with tracking number - none of this has happened. I ordered a 3-month supply, and I received only 1 month supply.
I immediately contacted customer support and received a response that they will correct the error and update me as soon as the remaining medication ships. That was nearly 2 weeks ago. I have reached out to them 2 more times since my initial complaint. They have been quick to respond but slow to resolve. I am still waiting to hear when I will receive the remainder of the order I paid for. the upside is there are no hidden fees, the cost is reduced if you order multiple months at a time, and I don't have to meet with a provider on a regular basis, which is my preference.

11 days into waiting for my prescription. Everything with this place has been slow and nothing like their advertising claims. I'm in two weeks deep and though I paid on day one, have nothing to show for but hours or wasted time and uncertainty. Just how long should a person wait for a purchase? I refuse to wait 11 days without a reason and a correction for why my meds haven't even made it to UPS yet!!!! I have demanded a refund, which I have been told no for, because they claim it's already shipped. My customer service rep just repeats themselves in different pacifying rebuttals. Can't imagine if I had bought 6 months or a year's worth. I do not recommend this company. I do not recommend!! You have many choices out there... Perhaps this one is still just too immature.
