This company literally has the ABSOLUTE WORST customer service. The ads are a scam. States starting at only $39.00 which they don’t tell you that is for a “membership”. Yes I AM complaining about $40. That was $40 to not get anything in return. Which it seems like they do this to people often!! Before a “Dr.” or anybody was able to contact me I made sure to contact “support” first! Support didn’t answer for hrs on. Mind you, I texted them through email. Then had the nerve to continue texting me through the app. Which is very unprofessional for me. I texted support then they got a Dr. to answer me which seems like they just did that so they’d have a reason not to give a refund but I stated directly right then and there AS WELL that I no longer wanted the treatment and I wanted a refund!
Mind you. I hadn’t received anything. No consultation. NOTHING! I’ve been on the phone trying to seek a live representative for 45 minutes and all she could tell me is that I couldn’t be refunded. Due to the fact that the “Dr.” had already let me know if I was eligible. I could’ve known. This is very disappointing. Spoke with a supervisor and he continued to tell me that there was nothing he could do. Y'all be careful with this company because it seems like this is something that is very on going with them. They SCAM people of their money. If I could give them zero stars I most definitely would!
Reviewed April 20, 2026
FYI: You have to pay a membership fee to even get treatment... $39 the first month, then $149/month — on top of the treatment cost. So yes, they’ve basically doubled what they make off you. The fee is non‑refundable, even if you only find out after being charged. If this saves you $39, then my review is worth it!

Do not buy from them. The worst customer service and the website is designed to make it difficult to cancel your subscription. I purchased a product that is not usable. 175.00 for hair thinning serum that makes your hair greasy and sticky. You have to use it every day. They refused to refund my money. Anything you purchase from them is "not returnable."

I would give negative stars if I could. This is the second time trying Semaglutide, and it was great the first time. This must be a bad product!! I had the worst skin sensitivity, I felt like I had a fever for weeks with no weight loss. All they said was it was a side effect and I should lower the dose. Do not spend your money with this company!!

Scammers. They make you pay a fee before they provide you medication and then suggest medication you don’t want and are not kind or helpful. Once you’ve paid the money they treat you like garbage and your money is just gone. Their customer support is horrendous reach and once you do, they are not helpful. There are so many better and more transparent brands. Do not use Hers.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. The medication does not work. Their practices of charging your card when you ask to cancel is very shady and deceptive. Your credit card company and bank will not side with you when you try and dispute the charge. If you try and cancel they will tell you that it's already been processed then ship in anyway and tell you missed the 2–3-day deadline to cancel, but you will not receive your full order.

Terrible company. They advertise things being FSA eligible but when you use your FSA card it won't go through and they act surprised and suggest a different credit card and advise you to seek reimbursement from your FSA. My FSA rejected my claim. Shortly after starting the drugs I went into app to cancel the subscription because it wasn't working for me and was making me feel terrible. I went through the multiple hoops in the app and thought my subscription was cancelled. But today I received an email that an order had been shipped out and I see my credit card was charged $400.
I immediately messaged customer service saying I had canceling it and do not want this order, but was told there was nothing they could do. I had to go through web browser to try to cancel again and saw that it was presented differently on the browser version. The website is weird and clunky and meant to not be helpful or easy to navigate towards cancellations. It's so frustrating.

I signed up for compounded semaglutide with Hers, then the following day I followed the steps listed on their FAQ to cancel my subscription and cancel any medication prior to processing. Under the guidance of my GP, I learned that bloodwork was essential before taking any GLP-1 medication including micro dose levels. 3 days after canceling my order and deactivating my subscription, I received an email from hers notifying me that my order was no being processed. How could this be?
I immediately reached out to their customer service team to alert them of the issue. I followed up multiple times explaining that I followed the instructions listed on their site on how to cancel my order and subscription, and that I took action in less than 24 hours of signing up and 3 days before the order was being processed and shipped. I did not want to be on the hook $$$ for a deactivated subscription and canceled order. Their customer service team was unable to do anything besides send a macro email on how to cancel a subscription. They never followed up with me to explain why my subscription was canceled, but my medication order was not. They never escalated my issue to a supervisor or manager. They continue to ignore my request for additional support. Frankly, they seem to operate outside of any standard support and safety protocols.

Absolutely terrible experience. They prescribed me a medication in a rush (less than 24 hours from me starting the process to shipping; this did not give me time to review the medication). When the medication arrived, I read the online guide before opening it. I saw that some of the side effects of the prescription were serious, and that they might pertain to me given my family history. I didn't open the box and immediately contacted them.
The upshot was that they did nothing to help me (even though this was a medically related issue). They refused to issue any refund, even though I said I could return the box unopened to show that I wasn't trying to get away with not paying for something. I tried several times to reason with them, and just got boilerplate language as a brushoff. I'm out $175, and they are smiling all the way to the bank. Don't bother. They don't care about your health, don't care about medication having serious consequences to you, and don't care about you losing money. Just don't bother.

I tried using Hers following a lot of postpartum hair loss after my first baby. After a couple months of using the product and seeing an extreme change in my menstrual, such as very heavy eight day long periods every 20 days, I fully stopped using the product and my period went back to normal. I attempted to log into my account via an Internet browser to cancel my subscription but became locked out of my account when I wouldn’t download the app to try to cancel my subscription. I messaged the company asking for it to be and they simply sent instructions which more or less said that I needed to download the app in order to cancel. The card that I had had file previously was lost and canceled so I figured between the two factors of writing to them asking for it to be canceled as well as not having a viable card on file mean that my next order would not come through.
However, they were somehow able to charge my account and I received three months of the that had been wreaking havoc on my physical and emotional well-being. I attempted to reach out to them and let them know about my horrible experience, but received no response in return. My husband has been a user of Hims for a long time and has had no negative side effects and also pays a much lower monthly rate for that product. For anyone considering using Hers, please don’t put yourself through this terrible experience. I absolutely would not wish it on my worst enemy.

Do not use this company!! Scam. I specifically asked for a GLP-1 and paid for 5 months upfront. I received every medication under the sun expect a GLP-1. I contacted them and asked to return the medication (didn’t even open any of the bottles) and to get the GLP-1 that I specified I wanted and they wanted double what I already paid for all this nonsense. When I asked why they offered me a GLP-1 and sent all this stuff instead there was no specific reasoning. They just want money and it’s sad.

🚨 DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY 🚨 This company is a complete scam. I paid $1,194.00 upfront for a six-month prescription plan. After taking my money, they only sent me ONE MONTH of medication. I NEVER received my second month prescription and have been given nothing but excuses ever since. You are NOT communicating with real medical providers. The entire system is automated. They will happily prescribe you six months of medication and take your full payment, but they cannot even guarantee you will receive what you paid for. Their only response has been “technical difficulties,” with absolutely no solution, no accountability, and no timeline for fixing the issue.
It gets worse… When I demanded a refund for medication I NEVER received, they refused. I was sent approximately $199 worth of medication, yet they have kept hundreds of dollars of my money for prescriptions they never delivered. This is beyond unacceptable. This is dishonest business practice. Do yourself a favor and research the legal complaints and lawsuits connected to this company before giving them your money. You’ve been warned.

I purchased a 3-mo supply of minoxidil gummies approx 5 mo ago for $170. The product was not effective and was essentially, just very expensive candy. The level of the active ingredient is low (1.5) and it contains biotin, an OTC supplement. I got NO benefit from the HERS candy. I later got VERY good results from actual medicine from a pharmacy, for the same ingredient. I vowed I would not purchase HERS candy again.
Now -- 5 months later, I noticed on my CC activity, a charge by HERS for a refill of $170 for another 90 day supply. I was shocked and hadn't realized the HERS order was a subscription or auto refill. The HERS charge was still "pending" so there was hopefully time to cancel. I logged into HERS but the tool to "manage subscription" wasn't working and kept saying "try again later." It showed a pending order, not a complete or sent order. I tried several times to cancel, and wrote to customer service immediately for assistance. Now HERS claims they can't cancel the order because it was already shipped, so only FUTURE refills will cancelled.
I think this is an intentional predatory practice and untrue. There was no shipping shown on the account. No tracking number. Just "pending order" being generated and my cancellation and protest was already registered. NOW, 48 hours later, they claim it was already shipped and it's too late to cancel. For HERS to not "consult" with the patient before a refill is unconscionable. To not inquire how I handled the product, whether I wanted the refill, did I want to make any changes. Nothing.
By auto-shipping with NO warning or a reminder that a refill is coming, HERS is a sales predator. EVERYthing is automated EXCEPT a warning to the buyer that a refill is coming. No refill reminder. No consultation or follow-up. Claim it's already been sent even though it shows "order pending." Make it difficult to log-in and cancel with bots and delays so assure a 24-48 hour period passes.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I tried to cancel a subscription I didn't even know I had. As soon as I got a box in the mail for a 5 month supply. I called them to see what this was and to cancel. I never opened the package and they said they sent me a 5 MONTH SUPPLY at $175.00!!!! I was shocked. I told them I did not open and to please cancel and they would not do. Gave some lame company line that they can't accept back prescriptions but this is just minoxidil, not some custom order. ABSOLUTE SCAM!!! I am going to write as many reviews as I can to warn people about this company. A RACKET.

I chose this company because it advertises itself as patient‑focused and committed to “providing a comprehensive, personalized approach to healthcare, connecting customers with licensed healthcare providers who evaluate each individual’s needs and recommend personalized treatment plans.” Unfortunately, my experience did not reflect that promise. Nothing about the process felt personalized to me. The approach was prescriptive and rigid rather than consultative. Important questions were left unanswered, and I felt pushed to accept whatever was prescribed before there was a true opportunity for a final, informed sign‑off on my part. This felt disingenuous and, frankly, unethical for a company operating in the healthcare space.
After seeing the actual prescription, I no longer felt comfortable with the original medication and reached out to customer service. I asked if I could return the unopened package, or at least return it and apply the funds toward a different medication that I did consent to once I understood the options. The response I received was cold and inflexible—standard copy‑and‑paste language with no effort to understand my situation or offer a reasonable solution. It reinforced the feeling that the process is driven by policy over patient care.
I acknowledge that I should have reviewed the fine print more closely. However, even with that in mind, the overall experience—from the lack of genuine personalization to the dismissive customer service—fell far below what the company advertises and what any patient should expect. There are plenty of other options available in this space that do prioritize patient experience and transparency. Moving forward, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere, and I’d encourage others to consider those alternatives before choosing this service.

I specifically told the "doctors" that I cannot take the medicine suggested. They acknowledged that I told them this. They have now prescribed and charged me over $300. I cannot get anyone to cancel and refund this. If they would have simply listened rather than doing what THEY wanted, the order never would have been submitted. This is NOT an ethical or safe way to do business. I suggest you find another company because these people are not competent to be prescribing medications! Their customer service refuses to cancel my "subscription" as well! I predict a long road/legal battle with this company.

Their billing practices are fraudulent. I signed up for a plan that listed the price as $996 for 4 months. After going through the acceptance process, I got a call from the bank stating that the company had withdrawn $1396 instead. I approached Hers for an explanation, and they responded by cancelling my prescription, completely unwilling to explain why the price jumped, why I wasn't told or solicited for consent for the price increase, or refund the difference between what I'd authorized and what they ended up charging. After speaking with other former users, I found that this is common practice. If you choose to go with them, be sure they've actually charged what you've agreed to.

I FINALLY got a customer service #800-368-0038 - use it! They are very helpful, but don't let the first person tell you no, talk to a supervisor!! Horrible experience. Very expensive and the support is not very helpful. I had awful side effects and had to even go to the ER because of one being so extreme. The “care” team’s response was to blame a different medication that I don’t even take and then just tell me to stop their medication for two weeks. There was no actual “care” from them at all. I also do not like the needles that they sent with the weight loss medication. Some of them were dull and would hurt and draw blood. The “care” team also did not care about that.
When I was overwhelmed, I begged for them not to send the other six months supply of my one year subscription and to just give a partial refund. Instead, they just fully cancelled everything and did not give any kind of refund without any kind of confirmation or anything. If they were going to do that, I wouldn’t have gone through with the cancellation, but they just did it on their own because they literally do not care about their customers. I’m still on the medication and I am supposed to be receiving “care” support from them, yet they canceled all of that too, which was part of my EXPENSIVE order. There is also no phone number. You can’t call for actual customer support because they would probably be overloaded with all of the issues over horrible service that they “provide”. I am honestly so disgusted by this company and would never recommend this to anyone else. I would rather die than have to deal with them ever again.

Unlawful charges per state of HI. Lack of transparency of cost, reactivated old subscription without intake or consent. Uses fine print to defend additional charges not agreed to knowingly. Hawaii law, (like SB1035, SB2140), requires businesses to clearly show the total price upfront, including all mandatory fees (resort fees, service charges), before a customer agrees to pay, preventing hidden fees. The state, alongside the FTC, targets deceptive practices where extra costs are added late in the booking process, mandating that advertised prices reflect the full cost, with exceptions for taxes and actual shipping.

I initially got an ad for injectable ** which I had used in the past with success. Hers recommended an oral subscription instead and convinced me to get months worth of medication for a significantly reduced rate. This ended up being 4+ pills a day which had significant side effects and resulted in their medical team recommending I stop the medications after a month. I was left with loads of unusable pills, no real weight loss, and a refusal for any kind of refund. It felt like a bait and switch and I would not recommend at all.

They ended up refunding half of my purchase, but I still do not understand as to why they don't allow a month long trial period before you have to commit to the 6 month purchase.
Original Review: Dec. 4, 2025
Awful experience with the medication and their customer service. You are required to purchase 6 months worth of medication which is $700, without knowing how your body with react to it or if it will be effective. It gave me terrible insomnia, I didn’t sleep for 4 days straight and made me extremely phlegmy. When I contacted their customer service and asked them if anything could be done all they offered was to cancel my subscription so I wouldn’t be charged in another 6 months. I asked why they don’t offer a one- month trial period to see how people’s body’s react and my question was not answered and completely evaded. It feels like an extremely poor and shady business practice to require someone to purchase 6 months worth of medication and not allow a trial period. I took it for almost one month and didn’t lose even half a pound. Couldn’t be more disappointed in the product, the customer service, and the business practices.

So, on my experience when I started my treatment through Hers a day or two days after I experienced some heart palpitations and irregular heartbeats. I let the doctor know from Hers app and they just decided to send me a second shipment. When clearly I told them I would have to discard the first shipment that was just barely started. I guess it was more convenient for them so they could charge me a second shipment instead of a refund for a product I will have to toss away because the pharmacy won’t take it back. Just how convenient, irresponsible and unprofessional to send a second shipment of medication after I mentioned that I had a side effect. I live by myself and experiencing those heart palpitations, and irregular heartbeats was scary to feel and can be serious.
